So welcoming, great atmosphere, and great wine with an amazing variety!! Interactive while also giving us space to discuss with each other, I would highly recommend stopping by, we left with 4 bottles! 🍷

We love this place and it's only about 20 minutes from home. Very pretty winery with lots of history and a small museum attached. Free wine tasting and delicious pizzas for lunch. Highly recommended ✅✅✅

What a perfect environment to have celebrated my 70th! Gorgeous restful native garden, excellent food and great wine. Fascinating place to visit. I like white wines and felt disappointed when I tasted a couple of theirs. Was asked if I wanted a full tasting in a tone that made me feel like a bother, I declined as I was driving and tasted only 2 a sparkling and a Fiano that was not as nice as one I tasted earlier at another smaller winery. I bought a bottle to try to make my visit slightly worth their while. Such a 🫠

We come here often as a family and will continue to do so for many years. The drive out is always spectacular with gorgeous views and immaculate gardens. The antipasto platters and pizzas are always amazing and the wine is fantastic. Although I do miss the fronti! However the Moscato and Topaque were delightful. The kids always have fun in the little designated play area and the staff are always lovely. Such a beautiful, relaxed and easy winery to visit. I would recommend booking because it has limited tables.

I've been visiting this winery since the 80's as I am addicted to their fortified wines. As one would expect the staff in their tasting room are knowledgeable and mighty friendly. On this visit we left with some Winemakers Selection Rare Old Muscat, 2019 Small Batch Organic Rosé and 2019 Organic Fiano. This is a destination winery as it is well of the beaten track but it is definitely worth the effort to visit this winery that have been making fine wines since 1870.

Great old building made from rocks on the property in the early 1900’s. The owner tells some great stories about the history of the property and brewery. Good selection of beers in a very nice setting and check out the old barrels in the main hall. Just watch out for Ned Kelly photobombing your pictures!

Gorgeous out of the way rustic location. Great IPA! Just a caveat that the older gentleman is quite political and will want to talk about his views on current politics with no prompting from his guests. Had extensive knowledge of the area and was lovely to hear about the history of the region. Absolutle worth the visit - dirt road entry to be aware of.

Stayed overnight, lovely farm in central Victoria. Very relaxing and peaceful place to unwind. The hosts are fantastic people and were very flexible and accommodating. We came during the dry season but it's still worth going during any time. Really good for families, kids enjoy looking at the sheep and chickens and investigating all the plants and trees. Looking forward to visiting again.

My partner and I stayed at her accomodation on the weekend and had a great time. Vicki is an amazing host, very friendly and happy to give a tour of her beautiful farm. You must taste the olive oil she makes, it’s superb! We thoroughly enjoyed how close Mount Samaria National Park is to her farm, and went walking there both days. We also loved wandering her farm and watching the sheep graze under the lemon trees. All in all it was fantastic!

Spent 2 nights in this beautiful, peaceful place. The bungalow is basic but with extra homely touches. Toasty warm. When I arrived I immediately said "I could live here!". Lovely views and the only noise was birds and goats talking to each other (Well, the goats were talking but not to the birds, lol). We would have loved to have been able to stay longer.

Myself, my wife and friends checked-in to Samaria Farm house for an overnight stay on our return from Mt.Hotham. We drove in late at night, the host was very friendly and welcoming even during late check-in. The plan was to stay the night and head out early next morning but then we had a good night sleep, woke up to a beautiful farm and delicious breakfast. We ended up cancelling our plans and staying back the whole day wandering in the farm and hanging out in the Farm House. A perfect relaxing morning after a very active day on the Mountain, it was a pleasure staying here. Will be visiting again and hopefully when the rose garden blossoms. I highly recommend Samaria if you want to wake up to a beautiful view and breakfast!

The products created at Samaria Farm are absolutely amazing! The Rosewater spray is made with love from start to finish, with hand-picked Damask Roses that are distilled on the farm - I adore this Rosewater so much & spray it every day to make my skin feel refreshed, cleansed & toned. It always gives me a pick-me-up too, the smell is delicious & it's such a nourishing product. The hydrosols they make are incredible too, I love the Lemon Surface Spray, so nice to use a product in the kitchen without any nasties - plus smells amazing. The Lemon Myrtle Spray is such a nice refresher for the home, I keep ours in the bathroom. Really beautiful hand-crafted products at this wonderful family farm, well-worth giving Samaria Farm a visit or ordering their products online!

Did not expect a smaller regional art gallery to have a varied & great selection of Australian artworks. Free entry! The recent Heide group featuring Sidney Nolan Ned Kelly series & Albert Tucker was really good as was the fire themed artworks by other artists. The older Heidelbeg impressionist paintings in the other smaller space at the back was also excellent. Plenty of free parking at main open entrance on Midland Highway. Google did not get this right & I parked further out. Enjoyed our lunch at the onsite Cafe with picturesque lake views & the single jet fountain. Clean toilets inside. Lovely location within the Benalla Botanical Gardens. The garden is not very big but you can do a circuit lake walk to get a good workout. Weary Dunlop sculpture is located here & there is a mini rose garden with some late summer blooms. A great place to stop, chill & stretch our legs for a few hours on our way to Glenrowan & then Beechworth - driving north from Melbourne.

A small-ish but modern and pleasant art gallery with 2 exhibition spaces. There is a cafe at the entrance. Interesting architecture with triangular windows above and large windows offering vistas of the bridge, river and gardens. Free entry. Ramp entrance - but can be slippery in wet weather. Car parking close by. A good place to visit on damp days..

Great little art gallery in the heart of the botanical gardens. We enjoyed the current exhibitions, the staff on duty was super lovely and told us about the Silo Art Trail and Benalla Street Art Festival. Thanks to her we saw some gorgeous silo art and had the best weekend! 🥰💖

This gallery is wonderful. It’s very well run. There’s always good works on show and interesting exhibitions. We’ve been here three times and loved it each time. The Julie Shiels Exhibition here today was just delightful. Really entertaining. Really clever. Note, the cafe attached to the gallery is tremendous too. It’s a must do for a meal or snack and a coffee.

Very interesting shop full of exciting produce from around the nearby townships. There's samples of jams, relishes, etc, for you to try before you buy. Highly recommend this place

Our specific trip to Yarrawonga made this an essential stop. We visited the Echuca store and loved it so much. This didn’t disappoint either. Yummy meals really were a treat for us to take home and cook and of course we bought the wonderful olive oil staff very helpful. and friendly I like the layout of Echuca store better where the skincare section is altogether under the one roof with the store.

Can't rate the quality and service from this family run business highly enough. We purchase regularly and have loved watching the success and growth of Rich Glen. So many beautiful items on offer, olive oils, condiments, produce, beauty products and so much more. Do yourself a favour and check out one of their stores, you will love it, or you can purchase online. Donna and the team organised our corporate gifts for Christmas and everyone loved them. We received so many comments on the presentation, quality and the extra touches. We love having access to so many beautiful, Australian made products and the level of care and service. Purchased a bottle of “Hot Cross Bun Gin Liqueur” when I visited the store at Yarrawonga on 9/3/2024 for $49. I assumed that I was getting a good deal. This week’s Aldi catalog displays the same product for $24.99. What a bargain??? Maybe I will purchase two bottles for that price.

We stopped here on our way to Leeton. We talked to Helen about where to go for bird watching and received lots of information. Helen was so friendly and helpful. The cafe at the information center is also a great find. Fantastic food and friendly staff, also not as crowded as some other places. I don’t think people know it is here. This is a place to stop if you are coming to Yarrawonga or even just passing through.

Cannot speak highly enough of Helen and her staff who bent over backwards for us when our booked accommodation had not been serviced on our arrival. Helen did her utmost for us and made sure the property was cleaned a.s.a.p. She also gave us lots of information on attractions in the region. Thanks heaps Helen

After several years of improvement, it's to ally at a quality equal to it's location. Anyone interested in water activities should seek out this great holiday spot, family friendly too.

We stayed on a powered site. Good value for money. Park and facilities were really clean, well set out and staff were very helpful. Had a great time at the ski club (laser light show on Sat night was terrific). Will definitely be back.

Very impressive resort and super clean amenities which were all new.Absolutely loved it. The only down side was there was only a cafe and Chinese Restaurant although the food was very good the resort needs an a la carte restaurant. We will be back

If you want a nice relaxing Saturday morning drive amongst the Canola fields to find this gorgeous boutique town with a market that would easy triple the town population, take a drive. Bast range of varying stalls and a lot handmade or at least made in Australia, fresh organic fruits and veggies, we purchased a Pumpkin & Sage Sourdough which now I wish I had of bought 2! Something for everyone and prices range from $-$$$$ depending on what you are looking for. We didn’t queue up for the fresh wood fire pizza baked fresh in the community garden at the market but we definitely will next time!

Excellent Victorian Country Market. Held on the 2nd Saturday of the month. Over 250 stalls. Lots of variety & plenty of food & coffee stalls. Lovely way to spend a Saturday morning.

Visited Violet town market, which meets on the second Saturday each month. A wonderful experience with a large number of stalls to view. Excellent coffee from a mobile caravan. There is a cafe with a large indoor seating area . Great leathergoods, shoes, and all manner of other businesses to peruse. Truly a large market.

Lovely country market lots of home-made goodies. Great family day out, lovely park for kids to play in, face painting n plenty of yummy foods.

I really enjoyed looking around the old homestead. It's so important that we retain these little gems of history. And.... it's supposed to be haunted although I didn't see any signs of ghosts 👻

What a beautiful afternoon we spent under a shady tree, enjoying a ploughman's lunch, a beer or two and a local white wine. The owners are so friendly and their family is connected to the Kelly's...owners of the land and homestead. The carefully laid out tables/chairs, around the property, offer spots to enjoy, whether for a couple, family, small group gathering. One could easily have an event held there, and if inclement weather, there is an event space inside the cafe/bar at the back. Toilets are basic and separate to the Cafe but easily accessible. Not so sure about disabled toilets. Plenty of parking on dirt at the front of the homestead. There is a separate kitchen which would be the original and worth a peak to get a glimpse of what it would be like back in the day. Near the toilets and very old tree, there is access to the cellar area - a good hiding spot when under attack from bushranger etc. Such a great asset for everyone visiting Yarrawonga and surrounds. A big thumbs up from us. 👍

A great piece of history and well worth the visit if you’re interested in the Hume & Hovell story. The building is classified “A” to be preserved at all cost ….hmmmm….that message seems to have been lost. The place definitely needs some TLC. The brewery was a relaxing break in the garden . Well worth the visit & tour. A shot sample of beer is included in the ticket entry.

Sorry this is not an review of the beautiful old homestead itself. We never got to that. After our brunch in the brewery we were completely incapable of bipedal locomotion. The other half loves a brew, and I will admit to being keen to try their Autumn deal which was a large ploughman’s platter and two beers/wines. However his lordship wanted to have the pie. So rather than miss out on my ploughman’s platter altogether I chose to have the small platter. Just me. On my own. Solo. It really could have fed two. The ladies all insisted they’d give me a takeaway container, but I gave it a good shake! The variety of goodies on the plate was stunning, with some amazing local produce. And us townies forget the joy of an egg produced by a happy chook! The three ladies on deck were spectacular. Without exception happy, smiling and amenable without being in your face. They were also very knowledgeable about the region. It was a lovely peaceful place to dine, and I recommend it unreservedly. Oh, and the other half said the pie was impressive also!

Nice place with tranquil surroundings. Good selection of beers and ciders. Ploughman's player was generous but it seemed like everything on it except the chutney could be bought from the supermarket.

While we did not take the tour of the Homestead we enjoyed beer tasting and a bite to eat. We selected 6 ciders and beers to taste served in 200ml glasses and a Ploughmans platter to share. The tasting room is spacious yet cozy with a wood fire burning. We enjoyed a leisurely visit there and I'd love to go back

It's lovely sitting on the verandah with a glass of wine and nibbles and looking out over the valley. They have set up chairs and umbrellas on the lawn for couples all also looking out at the view. There are tasting platters of wine where you can taste 3 different types for $10, which is a good idea if you can't decide. You can do the normal wine tasting for free. Numerous dips and the breads are home made and quite good. Friendly attentive staff.

A relaxing place to eat, drink and lay back. Thanks to the friendly staff here, I fell in love with the sweet dessert wine - Dookie Hills Botrytis Riesling 2012. Its combination with the raspberry cake is a heavenly taste.

Nice try. Lovely venue but food very ordinary and overpriced. Lasagna and Fettucini for $45? Seriously? Anyone can cook that. Their knowledge of the wines was hopelessly inadequate. Despite charging $20 for a tasting flight but not providing any information. Had to ask to read the back label! Won’t be recommending or going back.

Amazing setting in the Dookie hills. Our groups shared a number of plates and drinks. All were good other than the shared plate. $48 for a handful of nuts, bland dip, average cheese and some cheap crackers was ridiculous. Shouldn't have been more than $28 for what was on it. Highly recommend going as staff, the setting and majority of the food are great but I'd be avoiding the shared plate at all costs...

We have been meaning to visit Tallis for quite a while... we should have come years ago. Tallis’ food, service and ambience is beyond compare. A beautiful location to eat a casual, unpretentious lunch. Glorious ham hock soup, 6 for $6 sausage rolls and delicious apple cake were delivered by extremely efficient and friendly Mieka. Soft background music, great red wine and beautiful views meld into an unforgettable experience. Tallis is good for the soul. Thank you so much.

Surprisingly good range of vehicles, very well presented. Fun experience with a decent (albeit slightly pricey) café just next door. The collection changes as well, so one person I went with who's been before was saying that was a cool feature of the place, and I agree. Some great and rare pieces of motor history.

I have never been to a motor museum where the exhibits were as spotless as these ones. Everything was immaculately presented. There was a good range of cars, trucks, and very thing in between. Would definitely recommend a visit. Well worth the very reasonable ticket entry price.

Fantastic museum - something for everyone. I'm not normally into "fashion", but the amazing collection of historic bridal and evening gowns, handicrafts, as well as "what every genteel gentleman would wear", is well worth seeing. Also antique sound equipment, and other interesting items. The boys (young and old) will enjoy the classic cars, trucks, fire engines, not to mention the history of the classic LOCALLY MADE "furphy" with some great historic items on display. And if you don't know what a furphy is, all the more reason to visit and broaden your knowledge of great Australian inventions. And when you've seen it all, pop next door for some lunch at the cafe. Or have a chocolate apple!!

Excellent customer service, the ladies were very friendly and helpful! We visited Shepparton for the first time yesterday and had a lovely time at Art museum and the beautiful cafe. The gift shop is amazing and even though I purchased one item I had to return after leaving to buy another. I gave the ladies a good laugh because of the overall experience left me feeling happy. Well done, highly recommended!

We enjoyed ourselves this morning , chatting with the staff in the shop. We were very impressed with the quality of the merchandise along with their knowledge and expert friendly advice. Wonderful to experience good old fashioned country customer service.

I had a delightful and very informative conversation about Shepparton and surrounds with Margaret. It made my stay even more enjoyable and I look forward to returning to explore more of the area. The product range is quality and well priced. I was particularly impressed by the range of Indigenous products.

If you are visiting Shepparton as a tourist, this is the first you must visit. The staff there is very cooperative. They have a list of everyday events, maps, brochures, and recommendations according to your choice. The parking is available on the side of the building. There are also nice and clean toilets available. They recommended a few museums and a place called Cactus Country. The place is easily accessible and I also bought a few souvenirs from this place. Cost is reasonable. You can also see a few cow artworks.

Stopped here to grab some maps and take pictures of the painted cows I loved the artwork and the cows. The staff member was very friendly and helpful.

I had such a great time ! The atmosphere was so peaceful and relaxing. The views were beautiful, especially around sunset, perfect spot for a walk or just to sit and enjoy nature. It’s clean, well-maintained, and great for families or solo visits.

My mum and I had a lovely lunch 🥙 and chat on the lake over EasterI Its so soothing and relaxing. I’ve decided we have to go there more often when I’m visiting.

Victoria Park Lake is a focal point of Shepparton. Nice for a stroll or relax. There’s BBQ's available in the adjoining park. Lots of bird life to enjoy. Pelicans too. Some nice seating and picnic areas by local manufacturer Furphy Foundry. Worth a stop if you’re in the area!

This lake is very beautiful place for family outing ,kids.it had a very good walking track around the lake with lots of pretty native birds .lots of greenery ,tall trees and pleanty of fresh air. This is a place you must vist if ur comming to shepparton.

There are 90+ 3D life size cows around the area …we’ve found some at the Monash Park …I hope we find some more…interesting art …they are spread nicely across the beautiful park

Worth a visit, lots of cows showing different artwork. Very interesting…there is also a Chinese garden, but not very well maintained. There is rubbish in the lake and one of the lions is missing.

Every nice and green place in shep. So many cow here so curious abt reason. I cant see any cow farm here but its so unique and funny. Not too big but really close to street and central so easy to pay a visit here. There are some seats under the plants can have a seat.

Amazing life size cow sculptures in Monash Park, there are 90 cow sculptures around Shepparton. Its pays homage the dairy industry around Shepparton and Goulburn Valley. Definitely worth visiting if you are in Shepparton.

This is really cool! We love visiting towns that have something unique to display. Aparently there are 90+ colourful cows in and around Shepparton paying homage to the dairy industry here. This park in the middle of town had quite a few and I loved walking around taking photos of all of them. My favourite is the skeleton moo. What fun!

It was perfect to be able to leave our things while we went for a walk. I ordered platters for 15 people and they provided more than enough. It was delicious and served promptly! Can't recommend attending in the Spring enough!!

What a wonderful way to spend the most part of a day. This place caters for all from kids to ground ups ( especially older never grow up kinds ) we had a lovely day exploring the amazing cactus variants wow what a variety and you can take your dog too.Friendly staff great food and frozen margaritas yummy highly recommend

While camping in Bearii, we discovered this amazing spot to visit. We had a great time exploring the area and seeing so many different varieties of cacti all in one place. Plus, it’s pet-friendly! Before you leave, make sure to try the cactus ice cream and cake at the charming little café—they also offer a variety of food and drinks.

Great experience! Bernie is a gem - such a delight and very informative Cacti are also currently in full flowering season and the gardens are so pretty Definitely worth a visit but gets really warm in the afternoon so sunscreen is a must

We had a lovely day walking around, looking at the most weird and wonderful variety of cactus ever! The drinks and food were fantastic. Highly recommend for a day out.

This was a massive area with so many beautiful cacti and succulents. Lots of flowers, paths and photo areas to take pictures. Ticket was 25$ pp, but I’d say it’s worth it.

Great small family winery, we picked it at random during a long drive and was a happy surprise. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, he gave us a generous complimentary tasting, with some delicious wines. It’s not the fanciest venue you could find, but it’s 5 stars for service and lovely wines.

What a fantastic day. Taste testing some exquisite wines at Monichino Winery. Hearing about the history and the winemaking of the Winery and region. The pizzas were fantastic, and paired with one of the wonderful wines, it was an absolutely delicious experience. While taste testing I loved the Muscat, but the Durif is also spectacular.

Always enjoy a wine tasting with a friendly and helpful server and Peter was excellent. If he offers you the AROMATICA, do yourself a favour, it jumps out of nowhere and grabs your taste buds, yummmmy!

Website says open until 4pm. We arrived about 2.30pm to taste and buy wine for tonight. Tasting room was closed with a note saying if door locked ring Terry. We rang. No reply. Totally wasted trip 😒

Shaun at cellar door was super welcoming and very friendly and took us through the whole range of wines-which were all AMAZING! Every wine was so beautiful, the Chardonnays were amazing and the range of beautiful ports and tawny wines were delectable. Thanks for such a lovely experience, absolutely would recommend visiting here! 10/10.

Free wine tasting, with a knowledgeable host, in a lovely environment? Say no more! Worth the day trip from Melbourne - so great exploring Victoria, and this is a good winery to include in your plans.

We've had a few functions here as well as dropped in for a sneaky wine or two. Their wines are outstanding. I'm still trying to figure out if their chef is better. We've had meals and tapas style catering. Both are amazing. Can't recommend highly enough.

The statue is mounted on a dark, polished plinth that bears the name "BLACK CAVIAR" in elegant lettering. The base is surrounded by vibrant greenery and pink flowers, adding a touch of natural beauty to the memorial. The clear blue sky in the background provides a lovely contrast to the dark tones of the statue, making it stand out prominently. The lighting suggests it might be late afternoon or early morning, casting soft shadows that enhance the three-dimensional form of the sculpture.

An impressive town, so beautifully maintained, so clean, great lawns and walkways around the outstanding lake view. A few great cafes and restaurants, accommodation options and a cracking looking playground and water park.

A nice statue with a great backdrop of the Nagambie Lake. It's a pleasant addition to the quaint town of Nagambie, and worth a photo and a read if you're in town. Statue is not difficult to miss and there is plenty of parking in the side road in front of the statue. A pleasant stop-off with walks to the nearby lake - worth a visit for sure.

Bad timing for a visit to the lake next to the main street, due to renovations on the boardwalk. Love the bronze of Black Caviar, and the township is a great walk around.

I absolutely love this lake...so beautiful and peaceful. Now with the new addition of Wacky Park it makes it a perfect place for families to visit. Lots of fun for kids...and the adults 😉

Nice lake to stop and have beautiful view. Some boating was in water. It was splash and play was happening and it nice to see lots families with childrens was having fun.

Lovely and clean lake. Great place for picnic and to spend time. There is a Black Cavier Statue. Coincidently on the way to visit the statue we came across a cloud image of the horse which was a sign that we were heading in the right direction.

Really pretty lake with swimming and boating options. A good selection of cafes, restaurants and accommodation.

Went with my friends to watch a fishing competition a few weeks back. It was quite an experience. A quiet small town in regional victoria that grew up around a lake. Take your fishing gear and head to this town for a relaxing weekend.

Love going here just so peaceful and relaxing.. Lots of places to grab a take away coffee and go and sit by Black Caviar Statue... Several tables around it lively free n grass to sit.. Or try the Local Hotel just near park which has fantastic outdoor setting overlooking the Lake... Also the New Brew House/Cafe... great outdoor decking/dining for a quick beer and snack..or meals at the Cafe.relaxwhilst watching the world go by... Or go across to Rowing Club side and have a swim.. Watch the boats... Jet skis.. Regatta if on or even practise rowing.... Great little town to have a quick break.... Take a walk around the new path that takes you to a park for the kids (behind motel) or keep going and come to a bridge cross and see the other side of creek.. Or go for a quick dip in swimming area... Go for a fish and maybe catch A Murray Cod or Freshwater Cray...

Katrina was a trove of information about the area and helped us on our way. Beautifully appointed centre with an amazing painted art floor where animals pop out like 3D.

It was an informative visit due to the variety & quality of displays. I loved the 3D floor mural. Katrina was welcoming, generous with her time & enthusiastic about her home town - a great ambassador!

Called into the education centre in Nathalia for a look today Saturday 19th April. My wife took a had a medical issue whilst we were visiting, I would like to thank Lauren for going above and beyond her job description, she couldn't have been more helpful and attentive to make My wife feel comfortable and safe. A ambulance was called as a precaution and after a checkup from the paramedics all was well. Thankyou again Lauren for your concern and support. Any employer would not find a better employee . Wonderful centre with such a rich and fascinating perspective on the area and its history. Katrina was extremely helpful and inspired us to explore more places after visiting the centre. Highly recommended.

5 Stars – A Truly Unforgettable Experience! We had the most amazing time at Billabong Ranch! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The horse riding was a definite highlight – the horses were well-trained and clearly well-cared for, making the experience enjoyable for both beginners and experienced riders alike. The facilities were top-notch, with plenty of fun activities for all ages. The animal nursery was a hit with the kids, and we all had a blast on the pedal boats and mini golf course. It’s clear that the team at Billabong Ranch puts a lot of effort into creating a safe, family-friendly environment. Whether you’re looking for adventure, relaxation, or quality time with loved ones, Billabong Ranch has something for everyone. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

We went for a 10am 1h trail ride, was so beautiful and relaxing. The horses we so well behaved and friendly. Had some amazing instructors with us as well, so friendly and made sure we had a good time. Wish we booked for longer tho 1h goes so quickly when your having fun. Would definitely come again for sure!! Thanks Zoe for chatting with us while we rode we all had such a fun time.

What a magical place! It was absolutely beautiful 💛 Our kids loved all of the activities; mini golf, rock climbing, feeding the animals, kayaks, pedal boats and soo much more!! We did a 1 hr horse trail ride here on the Easter Sunday and we really liked it. It's bit expensive for what it is, however the girls were very nice and made sure my 7 year old son had a good time. I would recommend this if you are visiting Echuca.

I’m feeling so nostalgic stumbling across this ranch again! My Nan used to bring me here every time we visited Echuca, and I was absolutely obsessed with horses as a kid. I still remember riding Sparks and Sookie like it was yesterday, those horses were everything to me growing up. While I was off riding, my little brother would spend ages playing mini golf, so there was always something for both of us to enjoy. It’s so lovely to see the ranch still going strong and continuing to bring joy to other families. Thank you for being such a core part of my childhood, I’ll always hold those memories close 💛🐴 (Sharing a couple of photos with Sparks and Sookie, taken just over 10 years ago for a bit of nostalgia!)

My girls and I spent a lovely day here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A great variety of things to do for the kids and family. Food was a good price and really delicious. A huge shout out to the very helpful young man Xavier who came to the rescue and changed my tyre as I had a flat. Thank you 😊 your slushy was well deserved!

Free ? Yes free entry well worth a visit for the kids you will see many animals such a camels 🐪 , buffalo 🐃, goats etc. Rides are available for a small fee. There is a large lake for paddle boats.

Staff are very welcoming, and Neil's enthusiasm and knowledge is great, as well as entertaining. Apart from the mind boggling array of beer related stuff, there are lots of other gems from years gone by. Make sure you also explore the displays outside, including the shipping containers out behind the car park. Number 1 rated attraction in Echuca for a reason.... well worth a visit.

A really worthwhile place to visit. The owner will greet you at the door and gives a great presentation. He is one character and a half and has the best Aussie personality and a great knowledge of the recent Australian past. You will learn things from him you never knew. Was glad we made the effort to visit.

What a delight! We popped into the Great Aussie Beer Museum while in Echuca and were absolutely charmed. The place is so much more than beer though as you’ll find walls of vintage beer cans, brewery relics, retro signs, old petrol pumps, restored automobiles, farm machinery, soda dispensers, and more.  A huge shout out to Neil an absolute legend, the owner whose passion and knowledge of Australian history, culture, and memorabilia really bring the collection to life. He took time to explain many of the items, cracked a few jokes, and made the experience personal and memorable.  The atmosphere is delightfully nostalgic and rustic it’s like stepping back in time. There’s a sense that every object has a story. The restored cars and machinery especially add a touch of old-school charm.  If you’re in Echuca, do not skip this museum. It’s a passion project that’s well worth your time and admission.

Neil was so friendly, greeted us in the car park and explained the best way to view everything. What a place. Everyone should visit at least once. Need a minimum of 1 hour. Would be great to hold a function there.

Alan and Bryan were great tour guides and gave us a lot of information. They were super knowledgeable and friendly. We saw so many great Australian pieces and were blown away by how big the collection actually is. The stories behind some of the items were also very interesting. We visited on the 11/10/2025 and will definitely be back

Port of Echuca feels like being transported back in time. The restored wharf, the smell of the river gums, and the creak of timber all give it a charming old-town vibe that’s hard to find elsewhere. The highlight is watching and riding the historic paddle steamers still operating on the Murray, hearing the chug of their engines and the whistle echoing off the water is pure nostalgia. Around the wharf you’ll also spot an old steam engine on display and plenty of rustic, heritage-style buildings that complete the old-school river-port atmosphere. Great place for a stroll, photography, or a ride on one of the paddleboats. A must-see if you’re in Echuca!

A great historical area focussed on the Murray River riverboats and related industries. Some of these industries are still practised here for tourists. Some good eating places and enough to fill in your day and go on a paddle boat cruise.

Wonderful place to visit to learn about the history of Echuca-Moama area. Also gives a good idea about how steam engines revolutionized the way people worked and their day to day activities.

As lovers of cars and all things old and nostalgic, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. It was a little muggy inside (hot day outside) but it was only a minor inconvenience. Great collection of Holdens and Holden memorabilia. Dog friendly too.

Loved our visit to the National Holden Motor Museum. As a mechanic it was great to see all the different models of Holdens from the past decades. There are also some prototype models as well as models used in the product development process. Super interesting place to visit even if you're not a car fanatic. Definitely recommend it if you're in the area or just passing through. There's also a great giftshop which has something for any car nut. Not just Holden fans.

If you’re a car fan or even interested in history the Holden Museum is a must when you’re in Echuca! There’s so much to see and you can get really close to some great and rare examples of Australian motor engineering. Ticket prices are very reasonable and you won’t be disappointed!

A great museum with a range of classic and modern Holden’s that are swapped out every couple of months. With an affordable $10 entry to the museum itself, it grants access for either a 10 minute walk-in-walk-out or more than hour of in-depth reading into the history and information of Holden. The staff are super friendly and approachable and appreciate a good conversation. Overall the National Holden Motor Museum is a must visit for car enthusiasts keen on looking into the discontinued Holden name or rather, just to kill a bit of time while visiting Echuca.

Really great place to visit even if you're not a Holden fanatic (like me). The 50 cars on display are in prime condition and laid out very well. Lots of memorabilia on display as well. The 2 guys that were on duty were friendly and didn't mind a chat. A very informative visit. 👍

Great place for adults to visit to remember their youth & appreciate the vast range of cars that were produced under the Holden banner. The entrance fee was reasonable & the owners were very good about allowing visitors to wander around at their own pace, to get close to the cars & willing to provide information when asked. Well worth a visit, even if you're not particularly interested in cars 'per se'. The evolution of design, the beauty of the vehicles & the historical aspects of the display are inestimable.

Wasn't bad, I'm not a big Holden fan, some others would love it more. That said it was interesting to see the history of Holden from before my time all in one spot. Entry price was fair and plenty of parking available.

We had an EPIC adventure with River Country Adventours on the weekend just gone. It was a Kayaking and Camping weekend but with minimal effort and planning on our behalf - we just turned up with our food, duvet, pillows, camp chairs and clothes! Ash organised everything for us including a large 8 man tent, queen mattress, 2 burner cooker, gas, cutlery, fishing rods, bait and even a portable loo! We arrived to our camp site on the banks of the Goulburn River, left our car and Ash transported us and the canoe to the launch site. 15 leisurely down stream kms later we see our camp along the bank, completing day 1. No other campers around, our own private space with lots of bird life to see. Fishing rods out and a Murray Cod caught with cheese cubes. Murray Cod sent back to river to continue its idealic lifestyle. Camp fire lit, steaks cooked and some cool tunes as the sunset. Next morning after a hearty breakfast on the fire, we head off for 10kms where Ash and his beautiful wife Brooke are waiting for us to take us back to our car. This is a MUST DO - so fun, easy paddling, everything organised for you and not having to pack a tent away was a luxury! Thank you Ash & Brooke - we loved every minute of our experience and can’t wait to come back with like minded friends!

Can’t rate River Country Adventours highly enough. Rob is very knowledgeable and takes excellent care of paddlers - and he’s a great bloke as well. Our trip was very last minute and Rob was able to come up with a great plan at quite short notice. We did a 2-day self-guided paddle on the Goulburn - with Rob providing drop-off and pick-up, all the gear, and a terrific camping location. We saw and heard plenty of bird life - the highlight being an azure kingfisher, and we definitely piqued the interest of plenty of eastern greys. We will be booking some future paddles with Adventours for sure! Thanks Rob!

We had a super friendly service from these guys and they are very supportive if you are not familiar with Kayak and stuff. I'm telling you they are the best guys to meet if you are in Moama/Echuca area and curious to have canoe/Kayak safaris and camping experiences with a great deal. 200% satisfied with the service.

Brilliant. Did a solo self guided 2 day kayak trip on the Goulburn river and it was a fantastic experience. Rob is great. I'll certainly be back.
