The Sea and the desert dunes meet!(currently listed under potentials on Unesco) It is also the border to neighbours Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Tip: check for clear skies. This desert safari is fun and its good for all ages. There are a lot to do here if you like Sand dune buggies, Paragliders, Pony, Camel riding and you could opt for a not so quiet stroll on the beach.
Desmond W — Google review
Great place! If I would do it once again, I would take some food for a picnic and stay there for the whole day. The beach is very good and even in winter you can swim there. The ground is also good, thus, you do not need special shoes. It is possible to come there using Google maps of course only with four wheel drive vehicle. There is a street without that much sand. Normally, all cars using this was to come back.

A fantastic place for families and friends! The Lost Paradise of Dilmun is not just a water park, it feels like a full-day getaway. The park is very well designed with beautiful themes inspired by Bahrain’s history, giving it a unique atmosphere compared to other water parks. There are rides and pools for all ages from thrilling slides for adventure seekers to calm wave pools and lazy rivers for relaxation. Kids have their own safe play areas, while adults can enjoy exciting attractions. Everything is clean, well maintained, and the lifeguards are attentive, which makes the experience safe and stress-free. Food options are good with a variety of choices, and prices are reasonable for the experience you get. Parking is convenient, and entry is smooth even on weekends. Overall, it’s one of the best attractions in Bahrain highly recommended for a fun day with family or friends!
Ali A — Google review
Had an amazing time. Definitely one of the best attractions in Bahrain. The rides were thrilling the atmosphere was energetic, and everything was well managed. You can easily spend a full day here with family or friends. The DJ & the music kept the vibes alive throughout the day. However, the only downside was the food. We tried the pizza and broast, and unfortunately, both were below expectations. The pizza especially was quite disappointing. Food quality needs serious improvement; surprising that no one was raising concerns about it. Overall, still a must visit place at least once. Just hope they improve the food experience to match the rest of the park.

Tree of Life Bahrain

Mentioned on
1 list
Sights & Landmarks
Points of Interest & Landmarks
The Tree of Life is a renowned tourist destination in Bahrain that has stood for four centuries in the harsh desert conditions. It is surrounded by myths due to its ability to survive amidst scorching heat, and it is considered a miracle in the area's history. The site is well-maintained and captivating, with lush green leaves adorning the tree despite being planted in the heart of the barren desert.
An absolute tranquil and truly beautiful experience. The Tree of Life is a remarkable sight, standing alone in the desert for over 400 years and still providing shade, a living testament to resilience and wonder. The surrounding area is gradually being developed to help visitors soak in the rich history of the site, and the small museum nearby offers some fascinating facts that make the visit even more meaningful. The security team and the gentlemen at the museum were very kind and courteous, adding to the overall positive experience. Entry is free, which makes it accessible to everyone. Please, let’s not harm the tree, instead, let’s appreciate it for the rare treasure that it is. Sadly, some tourists have attempted to break off branches, so I urge visitors to be mindful and respectful. This is truly a place not to be missed when in Bahrain.
Maria J — Google review
The Tree of Life in Bahrain is a 400-year-old mesquite tree standing alone in the Sakhir desert, about 40 km from Manama. Rising nearly 10 meters tall, it thrives without any visible water source, making it a symbol of resilience and mystery. Surrounded by legends—some link it to the Garden of Eden—it remains one of Bahrain’s most famous landmarks and a must-visit cultural treasure. Tree of Life is a lone Prosopis cineraria ( tree in the middle of the desert which is 400‒440 years old, believed to have been planted around 1582-1583 It stands on a sandy hill in the Southern Governorate, in the desert (Sakhir area). It’s remarkable because it survives in the desert without any visible source of water. There is no nearby river, stream, or irrigation, and rainfall is minimal. 1. Very deep roots (possibly reaching groundwater) 2. Adaptation to arid desert climate, such as small leaves, ability to use moisture from soil or air. There are myths and legends, too — some say Enki (a Sumerian/Babylonian god) protects it; others suggest it might mark the site of something ancient like the Garden of Eden. Best seen after dusk or near sunset for dramatic lighting. The drive off the main highway (Musakar Highway) can go through soft sand, so it’s safer to have a decent vehicle and be careful. Bring water and maybe some snacks; amenities are limited.
Sujin.S — Google review
I went mid-day during the week. There were not any other visitors during that time. The area around the tree is much cleaner than it was 10 years ago the last time i visited. Nearby there are ruins and within a short drive there are other landmarks and destinations. There was a security person there who was knowledgeable about the tree's history and friendly also. A must see when visiting Bahrain. There are public restrooms near the tree if the need arises. Be careful on the drive there through the oil field roads. There are a lot of speed bumps that you would not expect on a road with such high speed limits. Some of the speed bumps are not marked or painted as well. This could be very dangerous at night.
Eugene M — Google review
A visit hete is a good way to see ehat the landscape outside the built up areas looks like - you will go through desert and pass many oil wells on the way there. The tree is inside a large circle of protected land, but not in the centre of it, so you can walk all the way round getting different perspectives.
David W — Google review
Nice place to visit..But beware of sandstorm since it is in midst of desert. Nature's wonder
Rajesh S — Google review
One of the must visit tourist spot when you visit Bahrain! This Amazing tree is said to be over 400 years! I’m astonished that despite the harsh weather and deserted area, the tree still flourish and continue to grow strong and sturdy! It withstand against time amazingly! The area around the tourist spot has really improved a lot! There are many tents for camping and food bazaars around! I remember when we can touch the tree personally. But now, there are fences around it to protect the tree. It’s good to know that the government is protecting the tree to maintain its natural health thus preserving the great history within it. When I went there, it find it just sad that the people were really loud and the ATV bike riders are making the air dusty! Making also the place not as solemn as it should be. But I had a great time to revisit this place after 2 decades! Would definitely comeback and hope the tree is till alive and flourishing!
Loki H — Google review
It is a cool place to visit. I recommend going in the cooler seasons during sunset.
Ernie — Google review
It's just a tree. We can say a grandfather tree, 400 years old. Many people go just to see that place and the wonderful tree. The place has a full time security. Surrounding is maintained very neatly.

Beautiful Beautiful and Beautiful This is what best describes this place. Heritage preserved, spices preserved and beautiful artisanal pearls and gold souq shops well preserved. This place is well connected with several old food eateries however Parking inside is only a remote possibility. Always check for opposite ground for paid parking but do not park under a tree shed as notorious pigeons target only your car (I feel).

One of the must visit historical spots in Bahrain if you are a tourist. Public holidays and weekends can get quite busy.
Sumesh S — Google review
As I'm much more into food markets, I didn't buy anything at this place. It specializes more into gold, hanging glass lamps, souvenirs and material things. I still liked the decorations hanging from the ceiling and the artistic shops worth of some pictures. The street is not that long and if you don't make stops, you will walk through it in few minutes.

Al Fateh Grand Mosque, built in 1988 and named after Bahrain's founder, is a must-visit for those interested in Islamic culture. The mosque can accommodate up to 7,000 worshippers and features stunning architecture with Italian marble, Indian teak, and hand-blown glass from France. Visitors can engage with friendly guides who are open to answering questions about Islam, faith, and Bahraini culture. The mosque also houses a library with thousands of centuries-old books.
Fantastic experience. Strongly recommended: not only for the magnificence of the grand mosque, but also for the impeccable friendliness of the staff and tour guide. My tour guide Ahmed is very hospitable, patient and considerate. When they heard that I wanted to know more about Islam they gave me a copy of the Quran in my own language for free! To me the staff here represent true Islamic spirit Facilities are great: drinking water dispenser is available on a hot summer day

Very beautiful masjid. Large space and very detailed architectural design. Very good maintenance. You have to be patient with the people Due to more crowds on Friday prayer, because take out your car from parking will take time.

The staff and guides are welcoming and knowledgeable, making the visit both spiritually uplifting. A must-visit for anyone coming to Manama. Friday khutbah is translated from Arabic to English

An absolute must when visiting Bahrain. Dress appropriately. We were given robes & scarves & enjoyed a free private tour by a volunteer. He was so informative & the interior is stunning. We were able to discreetly watch the call to midday prayers & the followers.
Ann P — Google review
A very large mosque. During prayer times, there are many worshippers. The car park next to the mosque is very large, but on Friday it was completely full of cars. As you can see, worshippers hold this place in very high regard. If you want to see what it looks like inside, you will have to choose another day.
W M — Google review
An impressing mosque and great place to go. I had an official guide employed by the bahraini government who explained a lot of details. Although I have been to other mosques I got to know more about the religion and culture. Make sure that you are there with an official guide.
Wolfgang W — Google review
When we visited the Mosque, we were able to join a small English speaking group for a short tour. The guide gave a brief introduction to Islam as well as pointing out the salient features of the inside of the building. We were able to witness the call to prayer being delivered during our visit. Appropriate clothing is provided if one is inappropriately dressed.

Discover the vibrant atmosphere of Souq Waqif, a bustling market in Doha that offers a glimpse into traditional Arabian culture. Renovated to capture the essence of authentic souqs found in cities like Aleppo and Damascus, this open-air street market is filled with narrow alleys where merchants trade perfumes, handicrafts, jewelry, weavings, and silverware.
One of the most distinctive and vibrant markets in the Gulf region. A must-visit destination that blends tradition, flavor, and atmosphere in a truly special way. --- ✅ Positive Aspects: • Authentic charm: The souq preserves traditional architecture and cultural spirit while offering a modern, welcoming experience. • Delicious food: Restaurants serve a wide variety of tasty dishes, from local Qatari cuisine to international options. • Beautiful seating areas: Outdoor and indoor seating is comfortable and atmospheric—perfect for relaxing with friends or family. • Lively at all hours: The market stays busy even late at night, which is rare in the Gulf. I visited Souq Waqif in the evening, and the place was filled with a charming, warm atmosphere that makes you feel relaxed from the moment you arrive. The soft lights glowing on the traditional buildings create a beautiful scene, and with the quiet music and the scents of incense and food drifting through the alleys, it feels like stepping into a different world. The shops are very diverse—from perfumes and incense to spices, gifts, and traditional clothing—each with its own character. The restaurants and cafés also offer a lovely experience, whether you want a calm tea break or a light dinner surrounded by authentic vibes. The people are friendly, the atmosphere is safe, and the place is perfect for evening walks, shopping, and taking photos. A beautiful experience, and I truly recommend it to anyone who loves an authentic yet elegant ambiance. ✨❤️

I visited Souq Waqif last September and absolutely loved the experience. The atmosphere is vibrant yet authentic — narrow alleys filled with the aroma of spices, freshly brewed Arabic coffee, and the sound of local music. The architecture beautifully preserves Qatar’s heritage, and the people are incredibly welcoming. There’s something for everyone — from traditional garments and souvenirs to art galleries and restaurants serving delicious Middle Eastern cuisine. I especially enjoyed wandering around in the evening when the souq comes alive with lights and local energy. If you want to experience the true essence of Qatar, Souq Waqif is a must-visit. Can’t wait to return on my next trip!
Radhe S — Google review
Definitely the highlight of Doha and one of the liveliest places in the city. The Souq sits on a historic trading site that has existed for more than a century. It was restored in 2006–2008 using traditional materials, giving it an authentic old-Qatar appearance. You’ll find everything here, Spices, perfumes, oud, traditional clothing, handicrafts, carpets, antiques, and souvenirs, Falcon Souq, lots of restaurants and cafes, and galleries, traditional workshops, and local artisan products. The lively night atmosphere here is simply AMAZING! Families, tourists, and locals walking through its narrow alleys, enjoying street performances, shisha cafés, and seasonal events. And with the Arab Cup around the corner, that place is going to be something else!! The Souq preserves Qatar’s market heritage while functioning as a cultural and social hub. It’s a must-visit for anyone wanting to experience traditional Gulf charm in the heart of modern Doha.
Abdulrahman Q — Google review
Souq Waqif is one of the most beautiful places I’ve visited in Qatar. The atmosphere has an amazing, unique energy. The souq is full of diverse booths, restaurants, and street food. It’s a bit crowded, but the old alleys and traditional heritage give the place a wonderful charm.
White C — Google review
A beautiful, reconstructed traditional market right in the heart of Doha. It’s especially lively at night and honestly one of the best places in the city to walk around and spend time. It’s full of souvenir shops, nice restaurants, and cozy cafés. You can find all kinds of interesting local items like Qatari halwa, shisha, Arabic coffee, and lots of tasty food. One cool thing is that part of the market actually has cooling systems built into the floor to keep the area comfortable. The atmosphere is really pleasant and there’s parking available nearby.

What really amazed me were the exhibits from the Dilmun civilization - especially the ancient burial mounds, pottery, and ornaments that date back thousands of years. Seeing how advanced and artistic that civilization was left me in awe. The museum is well-organized, easy to explore, and gives a real sense of how deep Bahrain’s roots go. A must-visit if you want to understand the soul of this island nation.

Nice enough museum but lots of work going on so it will greet bigger and better I am sure. I was trying to find the aerial pictures of Bahrain over the ages that I’d seen before but couldn’t find them ☹️ maybe next time!

The Bahrain National Museum is beautifully curated and offers a rich look into the country’s culture, heritage and history. The exhibits are informative without feeling overwhelming, and the architecture itself is stunning. It’s well-organized, peaceful, and a must-visit for anyone wanting to truly understand Bahrain’s past and traditions.

The Bahrain National Museum is a masterpiece of storytelling and design. Set along the waterfront, its calm, light-filled architecture perfectly complements the depth of the history it holds. Walking through the galleries feels like tracing Bahrain’s soul from the ancient Dilmun civilization to Islamic artistry and modern heritage. Every exhibit is beautifully curated, detailed without being overwhelming, and presented with care. What stood out most was how seamlessly the past and present are woven together you don’t just see history, you feel its continuity. A visit here leaves you with quiet awe and a newfound respect for this island’s enduring spirit.
Projat S — Google review
Though small, the museum is clean and well-organized. Entry costs 1.1 BHD, and you’ll need around 30 minutes to go through the exhibits. A good short visit for anyone interested in local history.

Well laid out informative museum, good boat trip over to Pearling Walk from outside museum. Gives you a real education into history and customs of Bahrain. Theatre and Art Gallery adjacent. Need an Uber or taxi to get there as quite isolated from public transport. Only 1BD to enter.

The Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) in Doha, Qatar is a renowned landmark designed by architect M. Pei and opened in 2008. The museum's exterior facade resembles a mosque and changes color throughout the day. Inside, visitors can explore 1400 years of Islamic art through displays of glassware, ceramics, metalwork, jewelry, textiles, and manuscripts across five floors.
Absolutely love this museum such a wonderful ambience had coffee at the coffee shop. Overlooked the city views . Excellent photo opportunity on either side of the building don’t just go to one and miss the other. There’s a restaurant that’s open in the evening on the rooftop that I would love to try. The layout of the museum is well thought .

Gazing at the magnificent architecture and view is rivalled only by the immense plethora of knowledge one is emerged it. It is definitely worth visiting. The museum displays Islamic history and modernity. Tickets are available at the entrance. Be ready for quite a walk, though you wouldn't notice it - once immersed in the vast ocean of knowledge.

Museum of Islamic art is situated in its own island close to Corniche. The museum had permanent exhibits of art from various regions where the religion was prominent at a given time in history. They also had a temporary exhibit about the making of the museum. Loved this exhibit. They had original blue prints, Drawings, interviews etc. what was the philosophy behind the building shape and architecture. Do recommend to go there.

Beautiful building and exhibitions to stroll around for an hour or two. The audio tour could have been a bit more informative, and will definitely try the Alan Ducasse restaurant, Idam, next visit. It was very quiet and calm when I visited.

Fantastic collection; great building by IM Pei. Views across the water. Decent café but also top rated restaurant (not cheap). Lighting on objects is excellent -- no glare, easy to appreciate and also easy to photograph.

Beautifully designed museum from outside and inside. The exhibition goes in a circle on all of the 2 (3 with exhibition) floors. Amazing pieces but only little interactive - very traditional.

The Doha Corniche is one of Qatar’s most iconic waterfront destinations, stretching several kilometers along the beautiful coastline. I visited the Doha Corniche early in the morning before the workday started, and it was the perfect time to experience it. It’s impressive to see how the city blends grand skyscrapers with natural elements — the sea, trees, and beautifully maintained green spaces. The area is clean, accessible, and surrounded by parks. A must-see when in Doha.

Best place to be especially when the weather is nice, suitable for walks, runs, bicycle rides also, a magical sunrise

My scenic tour along the Corniche was a picturesque one, (though on my visit the hazy weather did my photos no justice,) I was happy to be at this beautiful Promenade with lovely harbour views. From the Dhow boats in the harbourfront, to the beautiful downtown Doha skyline, a nice leisurely walk along the foot path could lead you into Al Dafna Park and seems a tranquil place in the evening. Another area of interest...hopefully for a future visit

The village also includes a 5,000-seater amphitheater overlooking the ocean where live concerts and entertainment take place.
What a beautiful setting. One part has outdoor air-conditioning. This plave would benefit from additional coffee shops, what exists already was extremely crouded. I wish they would extend the AC to the whole area... Lovely beach at the end.

Oh my goodness. There are barely enough words to describe the beauty of this place. It was breathtaking, the architecture, the history, the monuments. Qataris have a way of making every building and site look unique and beautiful. The Katara Cultural Village was an incredible experience, and I learned so much from my tour guide about their culture and heritage. I wouldn’t mind visiting again.

This was somewhere I had read about as somewhere to visit. So I put it in my itinary, it is however a bit Disney , Arabian Castle with food outlets. It was very quiet when I visited so lacked any sort of ambience so was a bit soulless. I am however advised it is a different proposition after dark. It is an interesting interlude if you are in the area but don't be too upset if you miss it.

Katara Cultural Village is one of Qatar’s leading cultural destinations, designed to celebrate art, heritage, and creativity in a setting inspired by traditional architecture. Located between West Bay and The Pearl, Katara opened in 2010 as a multidisciplinary cultural hub. It brings together artists, performers, visitors, and communities through a wide range of events and institutions. Some of the highlights of the village: - Katara Amphitheatre: A large open-air, Greco-Islamic style theatre that hosts concerts, festivals, and performances. - Katara Mosque & the Gold Mosque: Two architecturally striking mosques known for their intricate tilework and unique designs. - Katara Opera House: Home to Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra and various classical performances. - Art galleries & cultural centers: Regular exhibitions, workshops, and artist residencies. - Katara Beach: A family-friendly beach offering water sports and recreation. - Katara Plaza & Pigeon Towers: Notable landmarks that add cultural character to the village. Katara is designed like a traditional village, with winding alleyways (“sikkas”), courtyards, and earth-toned buildings, creating an immersive cultural environment.

The Avenues is one of the most impressive malls I’ve ever visited! It’s huge, beautifully designed, and offers a mix of luxury brands, high-street shops, and great dining options. The layout is easy to navigate, and each section has its own unique style. Whether you’re shopping, dining, or just walking around, it’s a fantastic experience. Perfect for families, tourists, and shopaholics alike!
Jaguraov — Google review
I visited this mall on August 25, 2025. It is the biggest mall in Kuwait and you will need half a day to explore everything. In terms of prices, all the items to buy are branded, so it is hmmmmmmm. It is a great place to explore and spend your free time. It is mostly crowded at night time but at the same time night time is the best for the best view. There are a lot of restaurants and coffee shops everywhere, so don't worry about food and snacks. It is also a paradise for children. There is a lot of entertainment for them, while parents should be careful because if you sleep, your credit card and wallet will be empty 🤣🤣🤣 Washrooms are available. Prayer room also available.

The Avenues Mall in Kuwait is hands down one of the most incredible shopping destinations I’ve ever visited—truly in a league of its own. The scale, design, and atmosphere are absolutely breathtaking. It’s not just a mall—it’s an entire world of luxury, entertainment, and culture under one roof. From the moment you walk in, you can feel how thoughtfully everything is laid out. The architecture is stunning, blending modern style with unique themed sections like Prestige, Grand Avenue, and The Souk—each offering its own vibe and personality. Whether you’re here for high-end brands, everyday shopping, or just to explore, there’s something for everyone. The cleanliness and organization are flawless. The staff across the stores and food courts are always welcoming and professional, and the variety of restaurants and cafés is unmatched—you can find everything from international fine dining to casual bites. What truly makes The Avenues special is how it feels like more than just a mall. It’s an experience. Families, tourists, and locals all come together here, and no matter how many times you visit, it never loses its charm.

Al Mubarakiya is a lively and vibrant souk located in the heart of Kuwait, offering a captivating display of Islamic art at the Dar Al Athar Al Islamiyyah. This historic market dates back centuries and provides visitors with an authentic experience of Kuwait's unique atmosphere. It features a wide range of goods, from traditional Middle Eastern dishes to Persian silk carpets, antiques, fresh produce, and aromatic spices.
Old market place, lot of authentic restaurants and stands . For more fun Check social media sites.
Abulmajd A — Google review
Very strange market. One benefit and a drawback is that most of the traders are arranged in sections. All exchange offices are on one street, so you can compare the rates quickly. But on the other hand, it is difficult to find an exchange elsewhere. Goods are all the same in many shops: perfumes, rolls of fabrics. Barely anything for the tourists. Heritage street with mostly closed shops. All the sellers are sitting in the shops talking to somebody on the phones. Nobody's interested in the customers. Most of the shops are very small. How did you survive the covid?
Alik M — Google review
If you want to visit the old market and bazar of kuwait 🇰🇼 that is revamped and renovated with modern looks, then you must visit Al Mubarakiya. Everything there is well managed and cleaned. Old houses and structures, that was once the homes of people, now turned into shops. The market structure and shops make me feel like the old architectural design from a story from Alladin. Street with warm lighting ambience in style of old lantern, structure, small ventilation windows, old retro door of houses with chain buckles, still used to lock doors of shop, Adobe looks of houses now transformed into shops, made you time travel into time. All the shops are well organised and you can find a lot of clothing, restaurants, tea shops, sweet shops, perfume shop there. I simply love visiting this area. As many people were there, I was not comfortable taking pictures of the vicinity but somehow managed to get a few shots. Barbecue of the one of the restaurant 😋 is delicious with a good serving size but expensive.

An entrance fee is required ''at this time of writing the review, is 3 K.D. per adult, Elders on Wheel chairs are FREE of charge''. The middle sphyre has two resturants that serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. But a reservation must be made!! A really nice place to visit! Visited Marina Mall and really liked the ceiling lighting as it gives a nice ambiance. The tinted glass elevator was a highlight, offering a scenic ride with views. However, parking was a bit inconvenient as I had to park outside in the sun; couldn’t find any basement parking. Located near Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi, Emirates Heritage Village is a reconstructed Arab village run by the Emirates Heritage Club. It offers visitors a glimpse into traditional Emirati culture and lifestyle before the discovery of oil in the region. The village showcases the Bedouin way of life with traditional tents, coffee, and displays of the Falaj irrigation system used for palm grove irrigation. With regular events and exhibitions, it's a popular destination for those interested in experiencing authentic Emirati heritage.
Despite the July heat, I loved walking around this place. The indoor exhibitions are excellent, offering great insight into Emirati history, traditions, and culture. We were warmly welcomed by two Emirati women in traditional dresses who offered us delicious tea, coffee, and dates grown in the heritage village's garden. An African woman, who was also working there, was incredibly patient and educated, answering all our questions about Emirati traditions in English. This place is a must-visit, especially since entry is free.

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is a stunning architectural marvel located in Abu Dhabi. It boasts 82 white domes of various sizes, making it one of the largest mosques globally. The mosque, constructed between 1996 and 2007, is made of white marble and features four minarets that stand over 100 meters tall.
Step into a world of awe at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, where pristine white marble, colossal columns, and shimmering chandeliers evoke pure tranquility. Begin at the underground mall, which offers both shopping and a quiet moment before your visit. For a unique approach, follow the pedestrian tunnel under the main road to the mosque entrance (a surprisingly modern intro to such a classical monument!). Once inside, marvel at the intricate floral mosaics and gold-tipped domes; even on a sunny day, the cool interiors and soft natural light are serene. Did you know the main prayer hall hosts one of the world’s largest hand-knotted carpets? Also, its chandelier—crafted in Germany—features Swarovski crystals; both are exquisite yet little known outside guidebooks! Must-do: Wander through the reflective pools at the mosque’s perimeter—catch the sunlight glimmering across the arches for an insta-worthy shot with nature and architecture in perfect harmony. Indoors, the “forest” of columns laced with amethyst and jasper makes for an iconic photo, while the main hall offers endless patterns for architectural close-ups. Tips: Dress respectfully—borrowed abayas and kanduras are available on site. Visit early to avoid crowds, especially before the afternoon prayer on Fridays when access may be limited. Watch for sudden weather: The transition between sunny and rainy can be striking against the mosque’s bright silhouette.

A breathtaking and peaceful place with stunning white architecture and beautiful details. Very clean, well organized, and perfect for photos. Going in a buggy is also a wonderful experience and great for taking good videos while approaching the mosque. A must-visit landmark in the UAE! 🕌✨

Every visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque feels extraordinary. No matter how many times I’ve been, walking through the grounds still feels almost unreal, the stillness, the scale, the craftsmanship and detail in every direction. It’s one of those places that completely slows you down and leaves you in awe. A tip for first-timers: it’s absolutely worth paying for the proper Abaya attire from the mall before entering. It makes the experience smoother and more comfortable. And definitely bring a selfie stand/tripod, it’s incredibly useful if you’re solo, as a couple, or with family, especially given how many stunning angles there are throughout the mosque. Finally, most importantly, please register on the website beforehand. Truly a must-visit in the UAE, and a place that’s unforgettable every single time.

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is truly a breathtaking place — a perfect blend of spirituality, art, and architecture. The white marble, intricate carvings, and massive chandeliers create a stunning visual experience, especially during sunset and night lighting. The mosque is well-organized with a very helpful visitor center, guided tours, and respectful staff who explain the cultural and religious importance. Whether you’re visiting for prayer or as a tourist, the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and welcoming. A must-see landmark that reflects the beauty, culture, and hospitality of the UAE. • Stunning design and architecture • Organized entry and facilities • Free guided tours • Beautiful at sunset & night • Suitable for all visitors (Muslims & non-Muslims)

This is an absolutely visually stunning mosque on the grandest scale, accessing the mosque is a hike in itself. It's a fair old walk from the parking lot, through part of a shopping mall, then an underground corridor with moving walkways and escalators. We were very fortunate to visit late afternoon and see the mosque change as the sunset. The amount of white marble used here and the ornate detail is mind-blowing! The atmosphere inside is calming and peaceful, the prayer room carpet is apparently made in one piece! I was told 41,000 people can pray at any one time! Allow a couple of hours for your visit, I hope you can be as lucky as we were regarding the timing of your visit!

History Museums
Louvre Abu Dhabi is an innovative museum located in the United Arab Emirates capital, surrounded by water and featuring a diverse collection of ancient to modern art pieces. Visitors can enjoy kayaking and relax at the on-site cafe. The museum, designed by Jean Nouvel, opened at the end of 2017 and has since become a cultural hotspot in Abu Dhabi.
Very beautiful museum and one of the highlights of Abu Dhabi. Opened in November 2017, it is the first museum of its kind in the Arab world, created through a cultural partnership between France and the UAE. Its mission is to showcase the shared story of human creativity across civilizations, highlighting how cultures have always interacted, connected, and influenced one another. Designed by the renowned architect Jean Nouvel, the museum is famous for its spectacular silver dome, inspired by the traditional Arabian mashrabiyya. The dome weighs around 7,500 tons and Its intricate geometric pattern creates a stunning “rain of light” effect as sunlight filters through the lattice. The building appears to float on water, blending modern engineering with cultural symbolism. Louvre Abu Dhabi departs from the traditional separation of cultures. Instead, it presents world history through themes, displaying pieces from different civilizations side-by-side to highlight shared human experiences. Examples: - Ancient Egyptian statues next to early Greek artworks. - Chinese ceramics displayed with Middle Eastern pottery. - Religious manuscripts from Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and Buddhism shown together. The museum features: - Permanent galleries with artworks spanning thousands of years, from prehistoric tools to modern masterpieces. - Rotating international exhibitions in collaboration with French museums, including the Louvre, Musée d’Orsay, Centre Pompidou, and others. - Over 600 permanent artworks, supplemented by hundreds of loans from French institutions. It was overall a very nice, entertaining and educational time spent here.

Absolutely splendid, the journey was beyond my expectations. We start with the tickets. Very affordable, you can get a discount simply by being a UAE resident. You still have the Fazaa discount as well. The museum itself is a piece of art, the architechture is mind-blowing, you could admire it for hours. I know that Louvre love to make wonderful architectures for their museums, with the one in Paris that i visited few yeras back, but this one in AUH is really eye-catching. The galleries were fascinating, from prehistoric stones, to the modern arts i really enjoyed it. To all art enthusiasts, i would really recommend to check it out, you will not forget that experience.

Mind blowing place. The architecture of this place is something incredible. Museum is interesting too. Not many pieces in exposition like in other national museums. So it’s easy to follow timrline.

The Louvre Abu Dhabi is an extraordinary place that combines art, culture, and architecture in an absolutely stunning way. The building itself, designed by Jean Nouvel, is truly impressive – its distinctive dome creates a magical interplay of light and shadow, reminiscent of a "rain of light." The museum's interior houses an impressive collection of art from around the world – from antiquity to the present – beautifully juxtaposed to showcase humanity's shared heritage. The service and organization are top-notch, and the atmosphere fosters reflection and wonder. This is not just a museum, but a true journey through the history of art and cultures. An absolute must-see in Abu Dhabi! 🏛️✨🎨

Louvre Abu Dhabi is truly a masterpiece of art, culture, and architecture. 🌟 Set on Saadiyat Island, it stands as a symbol of creativity and unity, bringing together masterpieces from around the world under one stunning dome of light. The museum’s breathtaking design by Jean Nouvel perfectly blends modern innovation with traditional Arabic inspiration, creating a serene atmosphere that feels both timeless and futuristic. Inside, every gallery tells a story — from ancient civilizations to contemporary art — celebrating the shared human experience through beauty and knowledge. Whether you’re an art lover or simply curious, Louvre Abu Dhabi offers an unforgettable journey through history, culture, and imagination.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a wonderful experience at the Louvre Abu Dhabi! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive — my mom wasn’t feeling well and couldn’t walk for long, and they immediately offered a wheelchair without us even asking. It made such a difference and allowed us to enjoy the museum comfortably and see all the beautiful collections. I also loved that the museum has its own app — you can listen for free to detailed stories and history about the main artifacts, and it’s available in multiple languages. Super informative and helpful! Definitely worth visiting again. Beautiful place, amazing service, and a very thoughtful experience overall! There is Fazaa card discount so you can get the tickets at the same time!

It is a beautiful museum and much larger that I thought. I was impressed that they managed to do thematic themes and chronological themes at the same time. Normally I only prefer an chronological exhibition. I also like that the museum has borrow objects from French museum and museums in the Golf and the Middle East to supplement their own collection. The museum consists of a beautiful roof and many buildings underneath the roof - so it does not feel so warm even when it is a 40⁹ day. There is a nice museum shop, a cafe, a restaurant and some places to have a coffee or a soda. And there is also a sea turtle sanctuary at the museum area. I spent two hours at the museum.
Mette K — Google review
Great museum with lots of exhibitions. We enjoyed the displays while we enjoyed the cool air conditions on a somewhat hot day. The museum has the infrastructure to take pictures if that is something you would enjoy. We spent about two hours and was enough to walk all the displays.

We had an incredible experience on the Yas Marina Circuit tour. As an F1 fan, this was an absolute must do. The tour was well organized, and the guide was knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the track, its history, and what goes on behind the scenes. The highlight of the visit was witnessing a car in action on the circuit, a rare and thrilling bonus that made the experience even more special. Walking through the paddock, pit lane, team villa and race control gave a real sense of what race weekend feels like. If you’re passionate about motorsports, this tour is well worth it. Seeing one of the world’s most iconic circuits up close is an unforgettable experience.

Attended the F1 race at Yas Marina Circuit, and it was an absolutely unreal experience! The atmosphere was electric, with fans from all over the world cheering and enjoying the race. The track itself is stunning, especially at night when the lights reflect off the water, definitely one of the most beautiful circuits in F1. The organization was great, with clear signs and helpful staff guiding people to their seats. The grandstands had an amazing view of the track, and the giant screens made sure we didn’t miss any action. The sound of the cars flying past was insane! There were plenty of food stalls with a good variety of options, though some were a bit pricey (expected at an F1 event). The toilets were clean and well-maintained, which was a big plus considering the massive crowd. One of the best parts was the post race entertainment! The concerts and fireworks made the experience even better. If you’re an F1 fan, Yas Marina Circuit is a must visit. The vibe, the track, and the overall experience are something you’ll never forget!

Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi is absolutely incredible! I had the chance to attend an F1 race here a while back, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The thrill of the races, the electric atmosphere, and the world-class facilities made it truly spectacular. After the race, there was a concert at night which added even more excitement to the day — such a great mix of motorsport and entertainment! The food options around the venue and also the freely available buffet at the East wing lounge was excellent, with plenty of variety and great quality. To top it all off, we even tried go-karting on-site, which was so much fun and made the visit even more memorable. Whether you're a motorsport fan or just looking for an exciting day out, Yas Marina Circuit delivers on every level. Highly recommended!

**Yas Marina Circuit Tour – Abu Dhabi** If you’re a fan of the Grand Prix, fast cars, or racing in general, this is *the* place to be. During the tour, I realised that many visitors were true enthusiasts who had been following the sport for 10–20 years and even travelled around the world to attend races. And then there was me—someone who had absolutely no clue—but I still left feeling well-educated and completely fascinated! It’s an amazing experience to learn about everything that goes on behind the scenes. They show you the school where they build models of the cars, the racing garages, the camera control rooms where the races are monitored, and even the team’s living quarters—you actually get to see what these cottages look like from the inside. A mind-blowing experience overall. **Definitely a must-visit!**

SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is an absolutely amazing destination and a must-visit for anyone traveling to the UAE. The entire park is beautifully designed, offering a perfect mix of entertainment, education, and marine wonder. From the moment you enter, you’re surrounded by fascinating exhibits and interactive experiences that bring the ocean to life. The penguin section is a definite highlight — it’s incredibly fun to see these adorable creatures up close. Just be prepared, it’s freezing inside! The icy temperature makes the experience feel authentic and adds to the charm. Another standout feature is the dolphin show, which is truly mesmerizing. The dolphins perform with such elegance and intelligence that you can’t help but be amazed. However, the show only takes place at 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM, so plan your visit carefully to avoid missing it. Don’t skip the “Ride Under the Sea” — it’s an exciting and immersive journey that gives you the feeling of exploring the ocean depths. Overall, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi offers something special for everyone — families, couples, and adventure seekers alike. It’s an unforgettable experience and one of the top attractions you shouldn’t miss when visiting Abu Dhabi.

Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi is an absolutely fantastic waterpark, and even though I’ve visited bigger waterparks around the world, this one still deserves a full 5-star rating for its overall experience, organization, and the noticeable improvements they continue to make year after year. What makes it stand out isn’t size — it’s how clean, smooth, and well-managed everything is from the moment you walk in. One of the first things I noticed is how updated and refreshed the park looks. Many areas have clearly been upgraded — brighter colours, cleaner pools, improved shading, and more comfortable seating zones for relaxing. The slides feel well-maintained, the water temperature is perfect, and the entire park looks polished and taken care of. Even the small details, like locker efficiency and staff coordination, show how much effort the team puts into giving guests a seamless experience. The variety of rides is excellent. Whether you enjoy high-adrenaline slides or more relaxing attractions, there’s something for everyone. Dawwama, the giant tornado slide, remains a must-try — the drop, the spin, and the funnel are always exciting. The Bandit Bomber roller-coaster-style ride feels smoother compared to before and gives amazing views of the whole park. Family raft rides, the wave pool, body slides, tube slides, and the lazy river are all very well maintained and enjoyable. Even during busy times, the lines move quickly thanks to good organization by the staff. The kids’ areas look upgraded too, with brighter paint, fresh water features, and softer safety flooring. It’s a great place for families, and the lifeguards are alert and professional everywhere, making the environment feel very safe. One thing I really appreciate is the cleanliness of the entire park. From the pools to the pathways to the dining areas, everything is consistently spotless. The food options have also improved — better menus, more shaded seating, and faster service. Whether you want something quick or a full meal, the options are convenient and reasonably priced for a theme park. Customer service deserves a special mention. Staff are friendly, patient, and helpful. They guide guests clearly, manage lines well, and maintain a positive atmosphere throughout the park. Even simple things like setting up life jackets, giving directions, or helping with lockers are handled with professionalism and kindness. Because the park is fully outdoors, the improved shading and cooling areas make a big difference, especially on hotter days. There are more places to relax, refill water, and take breaks between rides. Everything is designed to make the day comfortable from start to finish. Location-wise, being on Yas Island is perfect — easy parking, clean surroundings, and the option to combine the day with other attractions like Warner Bros. World or Ferrari World. Overall, Yas Waterworld might not be the biggest waterpark I’ve ever visited, but it is definitely one of the most enjoyable and well-run. The upgrades, cleanliness, friendly staff, and ride quality make it a top choice for anyone visiting Abu Dhabi. A full day here feels refreshing, fun, and genuinely worthwhile. Highly recommended for families, tourists, groups of friends, and anyone looking for a great day out.

Yas Waterworld is a fun and well-kept water park with plenty of slides for all levels. The big rides are exciting and the park is spacious enough that lines don’t feel too long. It’s very family-friendly, but still enjoyable for adults. One downside: the ground can get extremely hot and even the special shoes don’t fully protect your feet, so be careful walking around. Overall, it’s a great way to beat the UAE heat, just come prepared.

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi – A Thrilling Day in the Fast Lane 🏎️✨ If you’re planning a trip to Abu Dhabi and love speed, adventure, and world-class experiences, Ferrari World absolutely deserves a spot on your itinerary. Located on Yas Island, this indoor theme park is a celebration of the legendary Ferrari brand — from high-octane rides to immersive simulators that make you feel like a Formula 1 driver. From the moment you step inside, everything is incredibly well-organized. The staff are friendly, professional, and always happy to help, which makes the whole experience seamless and stress-free. Tickets & Tips I’d highly recommend the 5 Rides + 1 Ferrari Photo package for around 250 AED. It’s great value and gives you plenty of time to explore the park without rushing. Your ticket also includes access to the driving simulators — an absolute must-try! They provide an unbelievably realistic feel of Ferrari car handling, letting you experience the thrill of the track in total safety. The Rides Ferrari World is home to some of the fastest and most creative roller coasters in the world, and each one is designed to push your adrenaline to new limits. Unfortunately, the park’s longest coaster is currently closed for an indefinite period, but there are still plenty of other attractions that more than make up for it. One thing I appreciated was how well-equipped each ride area is — you’ll find secure storage spaces for your belongings before boarding, so you can enjoy the experience worry-free. Final Thoughts Whether you’re a motorsport enthusiast or just looking for an unforgettable day out, Ferrari World delivers in every way. It combines Italian passion, precision engineering, and pure fun under one iconic red roof. A definite tick on the bucket list — and one I’d happily check off again! 🇮🇹🏁

We recently visited Ferrari World Abu Dhabi to celebrate my son’s birthday, and the experience was memorable. Special thanks to Jasim and Madani, who went out of their way to make the day extra special. They surprised my son with thoughtful gifts like Ferrari car keychains, which made him really happy. Their effort and hospitality truly stood out, and overall the staff across the park were very welcoming and supportive. For the rides, my wife and I had a fantastic time on Formula Rossa and Flying Aces — both absolutely thrilling and must-try experiences for adults. The park is clean, well-managed, and has a great atmosphere that adds to the excitement. That said, I do want to share one observation. My son is 99 cm tall, and unfortunately, he only qualified for 2 rides out of more than 25. Despite this, we had to pay AED 305 for his entry. This feels quite expensive and a bit unfair. A height-based pricing model — similar to IMG Worlds — would make much more sense than age-based pricing. For families with young children, the current system feels unjustified. Overall, we had a very good experience, especially thanks to the staff and the amazing rides. But I strongly hope Ferrari World reviews its pricing policy to make it fairer for families with smaller kids.

Ferrari World is a great spot if you’re into cars, especially if you love Ferraris or have even a little interest in automotive engineering. The main highlight is the fastest roller coaster, which really lives up to the hype. Just be prepared for a long wait because the queue moves slowly, and you can easily spend hours waiting for a ride that lasts under two minutes. One thing to note is that the seats on the major rides aren’t very accommodating for bigger body types, which can be disappointing if you find out at the last minute that the harness doesn’t fit. Overall, the park is exciting and well themed, but it’s good to go in with the right expectations.

Visited Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and it was a fantastic experience overall! The world’s fastest roller coaster is truly something else absolutely thrilling! The Flying Aces ride was also top-notch and easily one of the best I’ve tried. Unfortunately, the Mission Ferrari ride was closed that day, but there were still plenty of great attractions to enjoy. The entire park being indoors was a big plus comfortably cool inside while it’s scorching hot outside. The roof-top walk was another highlight with stunning views over Yas Island and perfect photo spots. Special mention to the staff from Kyrgyzstan at the Ferrari Store his service was exceptional, friendly, and truly memorable. Now, a few downsides: some rides were temporarily closed for maintenance during our visit, which was a bit of a bummer. Also, a few of the rides and games didn’t quite fit the Ferrari theme could’ve been tied together a bit better. Still, it’s definitely a must visit place especially for thrill seekers and Ferrari fans alike!

Even though we skipped the extreme rides, there was still so much to enjoy — from the family-friendly attractions and interactive games to the amazing Ferrari-themed shows and displays. 🏎️✨ The park is spotless, well-organized, and perfect for families. Our son had the best time ever — he couldn’t stop smiling! 🥳 It was the perfect place to celebrate, and we’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Abu Dhabi with kids or looking for a unique family adventure! ❤️

Ferrari World is one of the best theme parks in the UAE, especially if you love speed and adrenaline. Formula Rossa and Flying Aces are incredible rides and worth the hype. The park is fully indoor, so it’s perfect any time of the year. The only downsides are high ticket prices and long queues on weekends. Still, the experience is absolutely worth it.

Motiongate Dubai is a vibrant theme park that brings the magic of Hollywood to life, making it an absolute must-visit for movie lovers and thrill-seekers alike. This playful destination features five distinct zones, each inspired by beloved films from major studios like DreamWorks and Columbia Pictures. With over 30 exhilarating rides and attractions, guests can experience heart-pounding adventures based on iconic movies such as The Hunger Games, Shrek, and Ghostbusters.
I am 100 percent impressed with this theme park. The rides were unexpectedly good. It is perfect for both kids and adults. The place is insaworthy in every corner. The theme park attendants are respectful, polite and friendly. My favorite rides are definitely the dragon glider, now you see me high roller mad pursuit and the bullet train! I also liked the hotel Transylvania ride! Every spot is magical. This is definitely my new favorite in Dubai! I’m glad I availed the Pinoy Fest D’ Weekend promo! I can’t for another one soon!

An amazing place for children and adults alike. Ample parking. They have buggies to ferry you from main entrance to multiple gates. Couple of rides weren't working, but mostly are. Some rides open after 2 or 3 pm. Though it started filling up by 2 pm, wait time for rides didn't exceed 15 minutes anywhere. Madagascar ride was most thrilling. Bullet train was equally chilling, but outdoors, so you atleast can see what you're getting into. If you reach by 1 PM, you can cover 80% by 6PM. Lunch was at Mr. Ping's noodle shop. Great food!

I recently visited Motiongate Dubai and had an incredible experience! The park offers a fantastic blend of Hollywood-themed attractions, immersive rides, and family-friendly entertainment. Here’s a quick breakdown of my visit: • DreamWorks Zone: Absolutely magical! The indoor setup was a lifesaver in the heat, and the Shrek and Madagascar rides were both fun and beautifully themed. • Studio Central: Great for photo ops and capturing the cinematic vibe. The street performances added a lively touch. • Roller Coasters: The Capitol Bullet Train and Madagascar Mad Pursuit were thrilling and well-maintained. • Cleanliness & Staff: The park was spotless, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and always smiling. 🍔 Food & Facilities: • Plenty of dining options with decent variety. Prices were a bit on the higher side, but the quality was good. • Rest areas and shaded spots were well-placed, which made the day more comfortable. 🎟️ Overall Rating: 4.5/5 Motiongate Dubai is a must-visit for families, movie buffs, and thrill-seekers. It’s a well-designed park that brings Hollywood magic to life

Motiongate Dubai exceeded all my expectations. The park is beautifully designed, exceptionally clean, and offers a perfect blend of excitement, creativity, and family-friendly fun. Every zone immerses you in the world of your favourite movies, and the attention to detail is truly impressive. The rides are thrilling yet safe, with something suitable for every age group—from high-adrenaline roller coasters to gentle attractions for younger children. The indoor areas and shows are especially well done, making it easy to enjoy the park even during warmer weather. What really stood out was the staff: welcoming, helpful, and always professional. They added so much warmth to the experience. The park is also well-organised with minimal waiting times, comfortable seating areas, and plenty of dining options. Overall, Motiongate Dubai delivers a world-class theme park experience. Whether you’re a movie lover, a thrill-seeker, or a family looking for a memorable day out, this place is absolutely worth the visit. Highly recommended!

Such an unforgettable Halloween experience at Motiongate Dubai! 🎃👻 We visited with the whole family and absolutely loved it — from the spooky decorations and live shows to the fun “Smurfoween” area for kids. The park atmosphere was amazing, the staff were super friendly, and everything was so well organized. The mix of thrilling rides and family-friendly activities made it a perfect day for all ages. We especially loved how beautifully themed everything was for Halloween — it truly felt magical! ✨ Highly recommend visiting before November 2nd — you’ll have the best time! 💜

The train ride is free from riverland to motiongate , however while exiting the park you need to pay for the train ride, No other mode of transportation available. It is built beautifully , however , the staff seems to lack any motivation to run the place. You pay full price on a weekday, however no shows are available. Two rollercoasters were closed And one broke down ! Avoid Mondays and Tuesdays, if at all you decide to go. Infants height was checked before every ride , the height and is of inferior quality and is meant for adults , if it comes out or gets wet ok the infants hand , you need to get either a new band or get the height checked before every rude. No directions or clarity on type of ride. Physical maps were not available. The map itself is not clear. They really had to put in great effort to make such a nice place be such a horrible experience. Nanny passes were refused with entertainer passes. However , no such condition was mentioned.

Legoland® Dubai

Water & Amusement Parks
Legoland® Dubai is a theme park dedicated to Lego bricks where kids of all ages can enjoy fun rides, interactive shows and attractions, and more. It's one of the best tourist attractions in Dubai for children aged 2-12 years old and parents too will love it! There are over 40 different rides, shows, and attractions spread across six different themed lands with something for everyone. Plus, there's a waterpark right next door making it an amazing day out for the whole family.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – First visit to Legoland (and definitely not the last!) So… our first ever visit to Legoland! We started the day in the water park, ready for fun and splashing — but the lock system had other plans. It didn’t work. At all. The QR code on the wall just stood there, mocking us, while a crowd of confused parents (including me!) tried scanning it like secret agents on a mission. 👉 Tip to Legoland: please put up a sign saying “This doesn’t work – go here instead!” And about the lockers… you can choose between large and jumbo (extra large). Honestly, I don’t know how many centimeters of difference there is — but not much! We’re a family of four, not overpackers, and we could barely squeeze into the “jumbo.” Anyway — once we got inside, things got much better! The staff were super friendly, smiling, helpful, and made everyone feel welcome. ❤️ Note to visitors: please don’t litter! It was sad to see trash on the ground in such a nice place. Maybe the water park could use a few more staff to keep things clean, but the toilets were spotless, so applause for that 👏 After the water park, we went to Legoland itself — and wow! We didn’t have to wait in any lines (yes, that’s possible!), and the Halloween theme gave it extra charm 🎃 But again… dear visitors… stop littering! Those tiny Haribo bags were everywhere 😢 Toilets again: still great. ✅ Staff: still lovely. ✅ Crowds: what crowds? We felt like we had the park to ourselves — it was fantastic! They are quite strict about the height requirements (some rides need 105 cm minimum), but that’s understandable for safety. We ate at the buffet, and the food was surprisingly good — no complaints there. In fact, we had such a good time that after the water park, we upgraded our tickets to silver annual passes! 🎉 We’ll definitely be back within 12 months — and not just once. One little wish though… maybe time for a small makeover? A deep cleaning, a little paint here and there — the park deserves to look as colorful as the Lego bricks it celebrates!

Legoland theme park and water park is an absolutely amazing experience and a true heaven for children. My family had a wonderful time exploring both parks, and the detailed LEGO builds and interactive rides sparked so much creativity. Tip for Visiting: I highly recommend dedicating one full day to each park (Theme Park on Day 1, Water Park on Day 2). Trying to rush through both in a single day means you miss out on a lot of the fun and enjoyment. Splitting them up allowed us to savor the experience and make the most of our tickets. A Quick Note on Food: The food inside the park is a bit expensive, which is typical for a theme park, but the quality was decent and it was definitely worth it for the convenience and to keep the awesome day going. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we left with tired, happy kids and incredible memories! We will definitely be back.

I went for a full day access with my 8 and 4 years old kids. All I can say that it was a wonderful experience for all of us. The park was very organized and clean starting from the entrance to the main hall, and going to the deferent parts of the park. The shows were amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My advice: 1) Get an online ticket and try to book 1 day prior to get a discounded tickets 2) Go early at opening time to have most of the parks covered 3) Start your journey with the indoor activities at day time and the outdoors when the heat cools down 4) Buy a refill Mug or 2 since this will cut down the costs.

I visited LEGOLAND Dubai with my family (Wife 5 years son and 10 months Daughter) and we all had an absolutely amazing time! The park is perfect for young kids- everything is colourful, creative and designed to spark imagination. My son especially loved driving school, the mini roller coaster and the interactive Lego building area. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the park was clean and well- organised. There were plenty of shaded spots and water play area, which made it comfortable even on a warm day. The mini LEGO versions of famous landmarks in MINILAND were impressive for both kids and adults. We spent almost the entire day exploring, and my son didn’t want to leave! It’s a wonderful place for families with younger children- educational, fun and full of excitement. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Dubai with Kids!

Had a fantastic family weekend away to celebrate our son's 5th birthday. The pool was closed but the hotel gave us access to 2 parks as compensation and we had two wonderful days at legoland Park and the waterpark. In the morning and evening time the children loved the activities provided in the fun zone and the creative workshop. Special mention to Habib in the fun zone who was so patient and helpful with my boys during the car make and race activity. Other shout outs include Ramana aswell as Sandy, Solomon and Emem. They kept our kids entertained for the rise and shine and duplo steam. Stayed in the fully themed pirate room which our boys oved. I would recommend getting to breakfast earlier rather than later as it gets very busy. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

The park is clean, well-organized, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. There are so many great rides, shows, and interactive areas where children can build, explore, and play safely. The LEGO City, Miniland, and Dragon Coaster are must-try attractions. Even adults will love the creativity and attention to detail everywhere you look. Food options are nice, and there are plenty of shaded areas to relax between rides. The entire experience is joyful from start to finish — a 5-star adventure that both kids and parents will remember! 🌈✨

This review is for the WATERPARK of Legoland: The entry fee is very expensive for what you get. We’ve been there several times and there’s always some slides closed. The food is terrible. It’s only fast food and it tastes if it was all fried in old oil. Some staff is nice but some can’t even smile which is a shame in a kids place. The areas for little ones are not great, not so much do do. The build a boat station was nice though and some slides are quite fun. But all in all that’s the least good waterpark around Dubai.

It was one of the greatest historical houses I’ve ever seen! I went there weekday and it was almost private and the vibe was great! Actually I love this kind of places and I visited them a lot in many cities of my country, but this house was something else! You can go on top and see the whole place. It is highly recommended.

Tabatabaei House is a true gem in Iran's architectural heritage. This stunning historic home is a must-visit for anyone interested in Persian architecture and design. The intricate detailing, colorful tiles, and beautiful courtyard garden make this house a feast for the eyes. Exploring the traditional rooms, wind towers, and reflection pools is like stepping back in time to experience the grandeur of 19th-century Persian lifestyle. Its advisable to get a knowledgeable guide who can provide excellent insights into the history and significance of Tabatabaei House. A visit here is a journey through Iran's rich cultural past that should not be missed!
Mazin A — Google review
The Tabatabaei House stands as a testament to the opulence and architectural prowess of the Qajar era. Spanning an impressive 4,730 square meters, this magnificent mansion took nearly a decade to complete. The renowned architect Ali Maryam Kashani, who also designed the Boroujerdi House and the Amin al-Dolleh House, was entrusted with the task of bringing the Tabatabaei House to life. This architectural masterpiece is undoubtedly his magnum opus. Under the watchful eye of the renowned artist Sani al-Mulk Kashani, one of Sani al-Mulk's disciples played a pivotal role in the house's intricate stucco work, paintings, and plasterwork. The overall design was heavily influenced by the beauty and sophistication of Persian carpets, a reflection of Tabatabaei's profession as a carpet merchant. Like many traditional Iranian homes, the Tabatabaei House is designed to be introspective and private. The exterior reveals little about the grandeur within. The house boasts 40 rooms, four courtyards, four basements, three windcatchers, and two qanats (underground water channels). Upon entering the house, visitors are greeted by a relatively small entrance that belies the immense space that lies beyond. A series of steps lead to the spacious outer courtyard, where the magnificent reception hall is located. This hall, with its ornate mirror work, stucco, and muqarnas (stalactite-like ornaments), is a highlight of the house. The adjoining mirrored porch, inspired by traditional Persian carpet designs, is adorned with hanging lanterns. Throughout the house, intricate stucco work, mirror work, and stained glass create a visually stunning and harmonious atmosphere. Every corner of the Tabatabaei House offers a unique and unforgettable experience. The authenticity and grandeur of the Tabatabaei House are unparalleled. Its exquisite decorations, including stucco work, paintings, mirror work, and stained glass, have earned it a reputation as one of Iran's most beautiful historical houses. A visit to this architectural masterpiece is a must for anyone travelling to Kashan.

I visited Tabatabaee house, also known as Khaneh Tabatabaeiha, in kashan last month. The house is a masterpiece of traditional Persian architecture and a symbol of the culture and art of the Qajar era. The house was built in the 19th century by a wealthy carpet merchant named Seyyed Jafar Tabatabaee, and it covers an area of about 5,000 square meters. The house has four courtyards, each with a different function and style. The main courtyard is the largest and the most elegant, with a pool, a fountain, and a pavilion. The other courtyards are used for guests, servants, and stables. The house has 40 rooms, each with a unique design and decoration. The house features exquisite elements such as stained glass windows, mirror work, plasterwork, paintings, and woodcarvings. The house is a must-see attraction for anyone who is interested in the history and culture of Iran. The house showcases the lifestyle and taste of the wealthy class of the Qajar period, as well as the skill and creativity of the craftsmen who built it. The house is open every day from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and the entrance fee is 200,000 rials. You can also hire a guide or use an audio guide to learn more about the details and stories of the house.

Golestan Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Tehran, is a magnificent royal palace and museum complex that showcases the opulence of the Qajar era. Historic and glorious place in the heart of tehran, the Qajar dynasty were live in this palace and ruled for decades, such a majestic art and architecture, surely every one in the world must see this magnificent palace. Iran is safe, Iranians are easy going people and perfect in hosting

Golestan Palace is one of the most beautiful and historic places in Tehran, located right inside the Tehran Grand Bazaar. After exploring the palace, you can easily spend time wandering through the vibrant market nearby. Originally built during the Safavid era and expanded during the Qajar dynasty, the palace shows a unique blend of Persian architectural styles. The intricate turquoise tiles, delicate plasterwork, and dazzling mirror decorations create a stunning atmosphere. The peaceful gardens with flowing fountains add a special charm to the experience. Having visited many European palaces, where warm colors are used indoors and ceilings are often painted, I find it hard to decide whether I prefer the European painted ceilings or the exquisite plasterwork and mirror art of Golestan Palace. Golestan Palace also played an important role in Iran’s history, witnessing events such as the coronation of Naser al-Din Shah and the signing of the country’s first constitution. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013, this palace remains a remarkable symbol of Iranian culture and history. It is definitely a place to visit if you want to feel the richness of Iran’s past and artistry.

Golestan Palace, this magnificent monument of the Qajar dynasty, enchants every visitor like an unfinished story. A place where Iranian art has reached its peak in unique architecture, delicate tilework, eye-catching mirrorwork and masterful paintings. More than a historical monument, this palace narrates the splendor and grandeur of the Qajar kings, court customs and lifestyle of that era. Entering Golestan Palace, it is as if you are traveling in a time tunnel and witnessing important historical events, fateful decisions and unique manifestations of Iranian art.
Setareh S — Google review
You can reach Golestan Palace by the Imam Khomeini metro lines. It is very difficult to reach by car and there is a traffic pattern. If you have a motorbike, you can go by motorbike. There are several exits to Imam Khomeini Station, and the closest one is the one in the center of Tehran's Grand Bazaar. At the beginning of the entrance to the palace, you must choose from a machine and draw a card. The cost of visiting each part of Golestan Palace is 15,000 tomans in 2025. You will be given a receipt and a receipt that they will stamp for you at the beginning of entering each hall. There are people in the palace who only guide you and answer your questions about the history of Golestan Palace during the reign of Nasser al-Din Shah. It consists of several sections and has different and attractive sections, it has a clean health service, a prayer room, a cafe and a restaurant inside the Golestan Palace, and the main tomb of Nasser al-Din Shah. One of the large ponds is without water, and the fountains of the ponds are not working and their water has rocketed. The behavior of the palace's services and staff is good, and the information on the signboards is not accurate and easy to read. I think you should do a thorough study of the history beforehand. The entrance and exit of Golestan Palace is through a gate. People who enter the palace with specialized cameras for photography and filming are not allowed to film or take pictures without official permission, but you can take photos and videos with your mobile phone camera. Chinese tourists are mostly seen here, some tour groups explain to them in English and tell the history and stories of the past. There are other people who explain things to Iranian speakers in Persian with precise analysis and excellent knowledge, and people can use these services for free.

The Golestan Palace, located in the historic heart of Tehran, is one of the oldest royal complexes in the city and a masterpiece of Qajar-era architecture. Once the seat of the Qajar dynasty, it reflects a fascinating fusion of traditional Persian art and 19th-century European influences. The complex includes several halls and museums, such as the Marble Throne Hall, the Mirror Hall, and the Diamond Hall, each showcasing intricate tilework, stucco, mirror mosaics, and ornate decorations. The palace was a ceremonial center where coronations and royal receptions were held, including that of Reza Shah and Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. Its lush courtyard and pools create a serene contrast to the urban bustle surrounding it. Today, Golestan Palace is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, celebrated not only for its artistic beauty but also as a living archive of Iran’s royal and cultural evolution.

The Treasury of National Jewels, located in the heart of Tehran, is a museum that houses an impressive collection of opulent and ornate jewelry and regalia once worn by Persian royal dynasties. The highlights of the collection include the Sea of Light Diamond, the world's largest pink diamonds, the Crown of Kiani, Nadir's Throne, and many more exquisite pieces. This cultural gem offers visitors a glimpse into Iran's rich history through its stunning jewels and treasures.
Amazing sight to see if you're doing a tour of Tehran. One of the most extraordinary collections of Jewels in the world with significant historical value. Parking is basically non existent. The whole facility is top security controlled and multiple check points and you need to turn in your personal belongings including your phone and watches so don't take anything unnecessary. The tour is guided only and takes about 1 hour total and photography is not allowed but totally worth it.

Closed for months! We looked up the opening hours on the website beforehand and found ourselves in front of a closed museum. According to the security staff, the museum has been closed for months and the opening hours are not updated. Who knows what the regime intends to do with the breathtaking, unique treasures and valuable part of Persian culture. Definitely not in the interests of the people.

The registered phone number is not answered; it is constantly busy. Although it is stated that the museum is wheelchair accessible, this is not the case. We visited in the heat, struggled to find any signs of the museum, and eventually discovered that it is located in the basement, making it inaccessible with a wheelchair. by the way, the museum is located in the Central Bank building. دسترسی با ویلچر وجود ندارد.

I arrived at 1245 hrs for the opening at 1300 hrs and there were already around 30 people waiting at the entrance. I went on Saturday so maybe that is why but be ready to be in the queue! No bags and phones are allowed as cited by many ( you can leave inside the bank before going to the safe: they will give you a key so I suppose it is very safe), and two security checks (after you pay for the ticket and after you enter secure room) after, you will be grouped and usher by the guide. At any time, you are not left alone. Excellent English speaking guide was taking us around but certainly there are many people in confined place so be prepared to be a bit warm inside. You cannot touch display windows or you would be told off! But that’s understandable as there are so many of jewels! It’s only one floor which is divided three sections but basically one big room ( bank safe). No doubt amazing and beautiful jewels and so many of them. To be honest, after seeing first three displays (a Globe with diamond ruby and emerald), I just had a funny feeling of not being amazed anymore by the amount of diamonds and emerald in each jewelry. Basically there are too many precious stones in the safe of the Central Bank, after few minutes I stared not to appreciate all amazing jewels. Scale, volume and numbers of gemstones in each display was is like thousands in each pieces, far more than my brain can take. Still amazing really : for my simple life, it was just too many. Anyways it is an experience and if you have a time, it is a nice reminder of the wealth as well as skilled art of jewelry Iran possess. I kept thinking being a king is not easy if you have to wear all those beautiful but precious jewelry in every occasions!

A truly peaceful and spiritual place. The atmosphere of Imam Reza Holy Shrine fills your heart with calmness and faith. Every corner shines with beauty, history, and love. Visiting here is not just a trip — it’s a soul-touching experience.

Passing so many people praying or sitting quietly in a counter of the courtyard, I often feel very positive energy visiting Iman Reza holy Shrine. It is beautiful to visit any time of the day but my favorite would be early hours of evening to the night when the color of the sky slowly changes and light in shrine and courtyard slowly give dim light. I appreciate people coming here to warship and pray which makes me to think about life. There are English historical experts at the Shrine kindly guided us through. While mere two hours are not even enough for this grand place, I also appreciated all the kindness people provided a visitor like myself. Very meaningful and fulfilling experience.

A Blessed Visit to Imam Reza's Shrine – A Truly Soulful Experience Visiting the holy shrine of Imam Reza (A.S) in Mashhad was an experience beyond words — deeply spiritual, emotional, and humbling. From the moment I entered the sacred complex, I felt an overwhelming sense of peace and connection that is hard to describe. The atmosphere was filled with devotion, and every step felt guided by divine blessing. The beauty of the shrine, with its intricate tile work, golden dome, and the sound of heartfelt prayers all around, touched my soul. Standing in front of the Zarih, I couldn't help but feel that I was part of something much greater — a moment of true destiny. To be called to this sacred place is no coincidence; it is an invitation by the Imam himself, something only those who are truly blessed can understand. The hospitality in Mashhad, the kindness of the people, and the unity of hearts in prayer made the journey even more unforgettable. Whether it was performing ziyarat, offering duas, or simply sitting quietly in reflection, every moment was deeply meaningful. I left with a heart full of peace, gratitude, and hope — and a sincere prayer to return again. If you ever get the naseeb to visit, consider it one of the greatest gifts of your life.

A sacred city, steeped in devotion and whispered supplications—where every breeze carries the echo of prayer, and each dawn rises upon minarets bathed in reverence.

Nestled in the heart of Mashhad, Iran, the Imam Reza Holy Shrine stands as an architectural and spiritual beacon, drawing pilgrims from across the globe. At the epicenter of this sacred space lies the Razavi Grand Courtyard, a sprawling expanse of 60,000 square meters, designed not merely as a place of congregation but as a year-round sanctuary for pilgrims, defying the extremes of Mashhad’s challenging weather.
