Nizwa Fort is a significant historical landmark that attracts many tourists eager to explore its rich history and impressive architecture. The nearby souq area is just a short walk away and is definitely worth visiting for its traditional shops, local crafts, and vibrant atmosphere. While the entry fee is slightly higher than expected, the experience of exploring the fort and its surroundings makes it well worth it.

Very interesting. You’re allowed to walk around everywhere and check out all the rooms. A recommendation would be to include more furnishings to give a better feel of what the fort would have been like back in the day. We spent about an hour there over sunset, great view over Nizwa. Be sure to walk around the gardens where there are animals including camels and deer.

I loved it! Well organised exhibitions, the fort is well maintained and renovated. Compared to Bahla, I think Nizwa fort is such more informative and interactive. In the garden there are some animals, too. The entrance fee is 5 OMR.

This is the main fort of Nizwa city, which used to be the capital of Oman. Excellent tourist attraction spot. A great example of ancient Omani Architecture. View from the top is also amazing.

Nice place to go. It’s possible to arrive in the morning and leave in the evening. Deep inside, I wished to see something more like it’s original - more raw, maybe - but the place is rebuilt. Make sure to eat the crepe there. Fort and market are in the same place, so don’t worry. about transport between them. The market is very nice. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to go to the real ruins.

Sprawling structure with extensive walls, gates and reinforcements. The old souq is hidden within the walls, as are some hotels, museums. Vehicle traffic only allowed at certain times inside the walls, would be even better if this was barred altogether.

Fort Bahla is less a historical treasure and more a luxury high-rise for bats. Step inside and you’re greeted by… nothing. Well, nothing except the constant flutter of wings overhead and a few sad museum glass cases — all empty, like someone stole the exhibits during the Bronze Age. I briefly got excited about a “museum of doors,” but no, not Jim Morrison, not even a funky carpenter’s passion project — just a few dull doors looking like they’d been rescued from a skip. The only real reward is the view from the top, which is nice, though you’ll probably enjoy it while a bat swoops past your head in casual ownership of the place.

I actually really enjoyed my time visiting here! I don’t understand the negative reviews. The views are gorgeous, the renovation has done really well and the bats are SO COOL!! The weak point for sure is the lack of detailed information throughout the complex as it’s quite large. Yes, some aspects have placards but they’re all minimal. Even the “door museum” has a complete lack of info on the history or the doors or the purpose of the exhibit. Can pay the entry fee by card.

Impressive! We arrived just before sunset, and were quite free to roam around in all the rooms, nicks and crannys of the fort. Suprisingly so! The pottery shop was not open at 17, so if that is important to you I would make sure to be there at an earlier time.

Nice historic location but when we visited many of the exhibits were closed which was a shame. Not a huge amount of information to read about the place but spectacular views from the top. We preferred nearby Jabreen Castle.

I’ve been to Bahla Fort twice now, and every visit feels just as amazing as the first. The fort has such a strong historical charm — its massive walls, old towers, and the quiet desert surroundings make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. I really enjoy exploring the narrow pathways and imagining the stories hidden within those ancient stones. It’s one of those places that truly connects you to Oman’s rich history. I always love going there and can’t wait to visit again!

Ticket fee is 4 OMR for foreign visitors, in combination with Mosque Museum behind the Fort it is 5,5 OMR per person. Given the limited information that is provided inside nowadays or no map with information is it not worth the money in my honest opinion. Although it is a very nice and big fort with nice rooms and views. Given the price and provided information I would suggest visiting Nizwa Fort or Jabreen Castle.

Jabel Shams or the Sun Mountain is the highest mountain in GCC.You don't need 4x4 to go there, you may use simple car. The temperature is very cold especially at night. During winter there is a chance of snow. Many people are visiting Jabel Shams to camp. There are so many camping sites in Jabel shams.

I did the Via Feratta here. It was great. Had a coffee and a cookie at the café at the top which was great as well. Plenty of parking, great views. Definitely worth the trip

Highest mountain in Oman. Stunning view of mountains, labelled as the Grand Canyon of Arabia. Temperature drops at 11 at the time we went ( Feb 7th 2025) We went our entire team from Bahrain and visiting such place is first time. We left from Muscat around 3.30am and reached morning 7am. Temperature was awesome.. It’s a perfect location for all who loves adventure. It is best to go with a 4WD. The terrain is a little bit challenging. A perfect spot for camping and hiking.

We did the balcony walk W6 and spent about 6 hours return (with photo stops, lunch stop and we spent quite a bit of time at the oasis) you will need good shoes as there are lots of scrambling rocks. Lots of goats along the way! When you reach a place that seems like the end, look for the flag, it should direct you to go up the rocks a little bit to find the oasis. Lots of people turn back at just the last point. We also saw some deserted buildings there. We came in January and lots of people came early in the morning too, it’s quite cold in the morning and with the sun it’s ok. But when we came out at noon it’s still quite cloudy so it was quite cold. We came here with a normal car but a 4WD would be handy.

pretty scenic view, a chilly atmosphere, the climb on the mountain is pretty good, there are a plenty of resorts above to relax, will need to go through a police checkpoint just to make sure that you go with a 4WD vehicle, beautiful around the time of Monsoon it's really worth doing. We traveled 2 hours round trip and we had a blast. Not to be too dizzy but we still manage to pass each other easily. It's called the Grand Canyon of Oman and while a bit smaller

Visited Jebel Hafeet in October and really enjoyed the trip. The weather was very pleasant — cool breeze, clear blue skies, and the views from the top were absolutely stunning. The drive up the mountain itself is smooth and scenic, with plenty of photo spots along the way. However, the only downside was that the public restrooms were closed during the day and only opened after 4 PM, which was quite inconvenient for visitors. Other than that, it’s a perfect place to relax, enjoy the view, and spend some peaceful time away from the city. Highly recommended for a short day trip or evening drive, especially during the cooler months.

Jebel Hafeet is truly one of the most stunning natural landmarks I’ve visited. The drive up the mountain is absolutely beautiful, with winding roads surrounded by different formations of rock and panoramic views at every turn. Once you reach the top, the view is simply breathtaking, you can see the vast desert stretching out below and the city of Al Ain. It’s the perfect spot for photography, a relaxing drive, or simply appreciating nature’s beauty. Prepered time to go during winter season to avoid heat of the sun😅😅 Highly recommend visiting Jebel Hafeet if you want to experience one of the UAE’s most scenic and peaceful spots. A must see destination! 🌄

Our visit to Al Ain Zoo and the Safari was truly wonderful. The zoo is clean, well-organized, and home to an impressive variety of animals. The Safari experience was definitely the highlight our guide was excellent, sharing so many interesting facts about the animals throughout the tour. We even got the chance to feed the giraffes, which was such a special and memorable moment! Just a little tip, make sure to book the safari in advance, as spots can fill up quickly. A perfect activity for families, nature lovers, or anyone wanting to discover wildlife up close in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended!

Always loved this place as a kid growing up in alain. They have changed their interior space now. While I liked a lot of things, really miss the old layout. It was easier to walk through. Buggies are very convenient. Currently animals are reduced as they are doing maintenance work to the zoo. Hope to see more animals soon. Also now we have to pay extra to see some animals like giraffe, zebra, elephants.

Never been a fan of a zoo as it’s always been sad to see animals taken from their real habitat. However, when one visits the Al Ain zoo you immediately feel different about it. Only as good as what the UAE do things - this visit was actually quite heartfelt! What an incredible experience for kids and the Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre is so well done. Well worth the visit and we thank the United Arab Emirates for such wonderful opportunities. Shukran!

Great experience. A well arranged Zoo with the wild animals. Good parking facility. Supporting staffs. Pram available at reception for rent. If you are tired then paid car available to move around in each pavilions. Tickets can be booked from their website.

Our visit to Al Ain Zoo and Safari was amazing! The zoo is clean, well-organized, and full of fascinating animals. The Safari was the highlight — our guide was great, and feeding the giraffes was an unforgettable experience. Tip: book the safari in advance, as it fills up fast. A perfect outing for families and nature lovers — highly recommended!

The zoo is very well designed and maintained. Amazing level of hygiene all over the place. Some parts of the zoo were closed either for maintenance or other reasons. The bus or truck tour is really amazing with Emaraty national tour guide. Plenty of valuable information provided along the route about the animals that were encountered. The tour is a bit pricy but worth it in general. They have daily show around 6:30 but it was not up to the level of expectations. Parking fee is more than expected and we haven’t seen well prepared parking area. The road to the zoo gives the visitor the feeling that it’s a real safari. It really worth the time and effort to get there.

Dubai Desert Conservation is going to be crowded this winter. The night camps are the places people would love to stay. A VIP night cam will be introduced soon by Emirates. Barbecue will be the most loved dish here. You will be able to see the desert deers and camels here. If you are lucky enough might see the snakes and scorpions too. Be vigilant when you visit this place and do not litter anything anywhere in the desert or you will end up paying huge fines.

This was our first visit to the conservation reserve, and it was an unforgettable experience. The center features a beautifully curated mini-museum with fascinating insights into the region’s wildlife and native species. The highlight, of course, was the dune drive — an incredible journey through the desert landscape. The entire tour was well-organized and truly worth a visit for anyone wanting to connect with the natural heritage of the UAE.

It was great to see the gazelles and later that same night a fox whilst carefully driving through the desert with our guide from Arabian Adventures. Lovely landscapes, best enjoyed during sunset hours.

You can see Arabian Oryx, Gazelles, Foxe's, rabbits, sand fishes, so many kind of lizards and a lot of fauna and flora. The Main thing is one of the beautiful desert resort inside of this conservation reserve, which is called AL MAHA DESERT RESORT & SPA

Anything I thought I knew about the desert was wrong. It’s not just sand and sun—it’s life, history, and resilience. Seeing camels roam freely and spotting the oryx, Dubai’s national animal, in its natural habitat was something else. It made me wonder what it was like to live as a Bedouin—finding peace, purpose, and strength in the middle of nowhere. The desert holds so much more than meets the eye.

The experience was really satisfying.. We sent as a group for the Heritage Dessert Safari experience, and it was wonderful.. The excursion and venue were unique and compelling.. The food was amazing.. The staff were very polite and accommodating.. Shout out to Mr. Baron, Mr. Ahmad, Mr. Zayed, and to the rest of the team...

Attended the F1 race at Yas Marina Circuit, and it was an absolutely unreal experience! The atmosphere was electric, with fans from all over the world cheering and enjoying the race. The track itself is stunning, especially at night when the lights reflect off the water, definitely one of the most beautiful circuits in F1. The organization was great, with clear signs and helpful staff guiding people to their seats. The grandstands had an amazing view of the track, and the giant screens made sure we didn’t miss any action. The sound of the cars flying past was insane! There were plenty of food stalls with a good variety of options, though some were a bit pricey (expected at an F1 event). The toilets were clean and well-maintained, which was a big plus considering the massive crowd. One of the best parts was the post race entertainment! The concerts and fireworks made the experience even better. If you’re an F1 fan, Yas Marina Circuit is a must visit. The vibe, the track, and the overall experience are something you’ll never forget!

Absolutely amazing and very nice place to be. I especially love the TrainYAS program they have on Mondays and Wednesdays allowing people to ride a bike on the track for free. The workers there are also very nice and welcoming.

Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi is absolutely incredible! I had the chance to attend an F1 race here a while back, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. After the race, there was a concert at night which added even more excitement to the day — such a great mix of motorsport and entertainment! The food options around the venue and also the freely available buffet at the East wing lounge was excellent, with plenty of variety and great quality. To top it all off, we even tried go-karting on-site, which was so much fun and made the visit even more memorable. Whether you're a motorsport fan or just looking for an exciting day out, Yas Marina Circuit delivers on every level. Highly recommended!

Every visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque feels extraordinary. No matter how many times I’ve been, walking through the grounds still feels almost unreal, the stillness, the scale, the craftsmanship and detail in every direction. It’s one of those places that completely slows you down and leaves you in awe. A tip for first-timers: it’s absolutely worth paying for the proper Abaya attire from the mall before entering. It makes the experience smoother and more comfortable. And definitely bring a selfie stand/tripod, it’s incredibly useful if you’re solo, as a couple, or with family, especially given how many stunning angles there are throughout the mosque. Finally, most importantly, please register on the website beforehand. Truly a must-visit in the UAE, and a place that’s unforgettable every single time.

This is an absolutely visually stunning mosque on the grandest scale, accessing the mosque is a hike in itself. It's a fair old walk from the parking lot, through part of a shopping mall, then an underground corridor with moving walkways and escalators. We were very fortunate to visit late afternoon and see the mosque change as the sunset. The amount of white marble used here and the ornate detail is mind-blowing! The atmosphere inside is calming and peaceful, the prayer room carpet is apparently made in one piece! I was told 41,000 people can pray at any one time! Allow a couple of hours for your visit, I hope you can be as lucky as we were regarding the timing of your visit!

Quite place with extremely well mannered staff . Reaching here is super easy you can either take taxi or public transport which is easily available. You have to book tickets beforehand itself in their official website.so that you can enter easily.. even if you dint book no prob they do allow those haven't done pre-booking also. Tickets are free of cost(No charges) 2 shows are there light museum /diya for which you have to pay 25aed each ... If you want to experience both it's 40Aed in total. After getting into parking.. you have to walk through a mall for about 20 mins around 1.2km . You will have guides all over the places . Good place for taking pics and peaceful. Total time you spend soli 1.5hrs if you go alone.. if you go as group around 2.5 hrs minimum you spend easily. Just fully covered dress for male will be better. Female has to have follow dress code to enter .

The Rides Ferrari World is home to some of the fastest and most creative roller coasters in the world, and each one is designed to push your adrenaline to new limits. Unfortunately, the park’s longest coaster is currently closed for an indefinite period, but there are still plenty of other attractions that more than make up for it. One thing I appreciated was how well-equipped each ride area is — you’ll find secure storage spaces for your belongings before boarding, so you can enjoy the experience worry-free. Final Thoughts Whether you’re a motorsport enthusiast or just looking for an unforgettable day out, Ferrari World delivers in every way. We recently visited Ferrari World Abu Dhabi to celebrate my son’s birthday, and the experience was memorable. Special thanks to Jasim and Madani, who went out of their way to make the day extra special. They surprised my son with thoughtful gifts like Ferrari car keychains, which made him really happy. Their effort and hospitality truly stood out, and overall the staff across the park were very welcoming and supportive. For the rides, my wife and I had a fantastic time on Formula Rossa and Flying Aces — both absolutely thrilling and must-try experiences for adults. The park is clean, well-managed, and has a great atmosphere that adds to the excitement. That said, I do want to share one observation. My son is 99 cm tall, and unfortunately, he only qualified for 2 rides out of more than 25. Despite this, we had to pay AED 305 for his entry. This feels quite expensive and a bit unfair. A height-based pricing model — similar to IMG Worlds — would make much more sense than age-based pricing. For families with young children, the current system feels unjustified. Overall, we had a very good experience, especially thanks to the staff and the amazing rides. But I strongly hope Ferrari World reviews its pricing policy to make it fairer for families with smaller kids.

Ferrari World is a great spot if you’re into cars, especially if you love Ferraris or have even a little interest in automotive engineering. The main highlight is the fastest roller coaster, which really lives up to the hype. Just be prepared for a long wait because the queue moves slowly, and you can easily spend hours waiting for a ride that lasts under two minutes. One thing to note is that the seats on the major rides aren’t very accommodating for bigger body types, which can be disappointing if you find out at the last minute that the harness doesn’t fit. Overall, the park is exciting and well themed, but it’s good to go in with the right expectations.

Visited Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and it was a fantastic experience overall! The world’s fastest roller coaster is truly something else absolutely thrilling! The Flying Aces ride was also top-notch and easily one of the best I’ve tried. Unfortunately, the Mission Ferrari ride was closed that day, but there were still plenty of great attractions to enjoy. The entire park being indoors was a big plus comfortably cool inside while it’s scorching hot outside. The roof-top walk was another highlight with stunning views over Yas Island and perfect photo spots. Special mention to the staff from Kyrgyzstan at the Ferrari Store his service was exceptional, friendly, and truly memorable. Now, a few downsides: some rides were temporarily closed for maintenance during our visit, which was a bit of a bummer. Also, a few of the rides and games didn’t quite fit the Ferrari theme could’ve been tied together a bit better. Still, it’s definitely a must visit place especially for thrill seekers and Ferrari fans alike!

The park is fully indoor, so it’s perfect any time of the year. The only downsides are high ticket prices and long queues on weekends. Still, the experience is absolutely worth it.

SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is an absolutely amazing destination and a must-visit for anyone traveling to the UAE. Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi is an absolutely fantastic waterpark, and even though I’ve visited bigger waterparks around the world, this one still deserves a full 5-star rating for its overall experience, organization, and the noticeable improvements they continue to make year after year. What makes it stand out isn’t size — it’s how clean, smooth, and well-managed everything is from the moment you walk in. One of the first things I noticed is how updated and refreshed the park looks. Many areas have clearly been upgraded — brighter colours, cleaner pools, improved shading, and more comfortable seating zones for relaxing. The slides feel well-maintained, the water temperature is perfect, and the entire park looks polished and taken care of. Even the small details, like locker efficiency and staff coordination, show how much effort the team puts into giving guests a seamless experience.The variety of rides is excellent. Whether you enjoy high-adrenaline slides or more relaxing attractions, there’s something for everyone. Dawwama, the giant tornado slide, remains a must-try — the drop, the spin, and the funnel are always exciting. The Bandit Bomber roller-coaster-style ride feels smoother compared to before and gives amazing views of the whole park. Family raft rides, the wave pool, body slides, tube slides, and the lazy river are all very well maintained and enjoyable. Even during busy times, the lines move quickly thanks to good organization by the staff.The kids’ areas look upgraded too, with brighter paint, fresh water features, and softer safety flooring. It’s a great place for families, and the lifeguards are alert and professional everywhere, making the environment feel very safe. One thing I really appreciate is the cleanliness of the entire park. From the pools to the pathways to the dining areas, everything is consistently spotless. The food options have also improved — better menus, more shaded seating, and faster service. Whether you want something quick or a full meal, the options are convenient and reasonably priced for a theme park. Customer service deserves a special mention. Yas Waterworld in Abu Dhabi is an absolute blast! The theming is incredible, and the rides are so much fun! My favorite was the bandit bomber and the majestic – totally exhilarating! Yas Waterworld is a fun and well-kept water park with plenty of slides for all levels. The big rides are exciting and the park is spacious enough that lines don’t feel too long. It’s very family-friendly, but still enjoyable for adults. One downside: the ground can get extremely hot and even the special shoes don’t fully protect your feet, so be careful walking around. Overall, it’s a great way to beat the UAE heat, just come prepared.

It's a beautiful free family beach you can visit at corniche. -Nice seating area to relax and see the beach. -open air gym is located near the washroom -open for swimming -basketball or volleyball court is there but I think it's needs to be booked before. -Good parking space too - water sports activities are also there but chargeable -cafes are located, quite spacious both indoor and outdoor seating arrangement

It's a very beautiful beach destination on Corniche. It's free. It has got a large parking space just on the opposite side of the today, probably free. Atmosphere over the weekend is especially lovely with live shows, beach volleyball. It has got excellent facilities of restroom, shower and changing rooms along with prayer rooms.

Al Bahar is quite scenic and beautiful. Distance between beach and eateries is not too long...so it's completely safe if kids are playing on the beach and mums are enjoying coffee @Filli :)

Visited Marina Mall and really liked the ceiling lighting as it gives a nice ambiance. The tinted glass elevator was a highlight, offering a scenic ride with views. However, parking was a bit inconvenient as I had to park outside in the sun; couldn’t find any basement parking. The mall felt quiet and spacious, but food court options were limited or hard to locate. Overall, a decent place for relaxed shopping and a quick visit, but could use some upgrades in amenities and signage.

Good shopping mall wide and well organized. There many shops of lifestyle, Carrefour, restaurants....etc. Car parking is available all the time even in weekend. Most visitors are locals with little western. Good for friends and families. Enjoy your time

I’ve been a constant shopper at Marina Mall for nearly 25 years, and it’s been amazing to watch how much it has evolved over time. From the old days when Centerpoint was still here (now replaced by Pan Home) to the many new stores opening, the mall has definitely grown with the city. You can really feel how the space has expanded, refreshed, and modernized while still keeping its calm, relaxed atmosphere. The food court has improved so much compared to the older one that was once attached to Fun City. Now there’s a wider variety of dining options — from quick bites to sit-down restaurants — and the seating area is brighter and more comfortable. There are also plenty of cafés scattered around the mall where you can relax, work, or meet friends.Shopping options are great: a mix of popular brands, home décor stores, fashion, beauty, electronics, and kid-friendly shops. The luxury section still adds that high-end touch with elegant boutiques and a quieter ambience. Families will appreciate the play area, attractions, and open walking spaces — it’s easy to spend a few hours here without feeling crowded. The mall continues adding new stores, so every visit feels a little different. Location-wise, Marina Mall is unbeatable — right across the Corniche, with beautiful views, and it has plenty of parking, which makes every visit stress-free.

It's not quite Dubai, but it's a very nice, quiet, clean, spacious shopping center where you can find everything you need. I enjoyed shopping at Victoria Secret the most.

Many shops aren't open yet or are undergoing renovations. Brands like Sephora have set up stands in the center because their stores are under construction. The mall has a limited selection of stores and is expensive. I think its best feature is the restrooms. They're clean and have no lines. Inside and outside mega parking place is free

Absolutely splendid, the journey was beyond my expectations. We start with the tickets. Very affordable, you can get a discount simply by being a UAE resident. You still have the Fazaa discount as well. The museum itself is a piece of art, the architechture is mind-blowing, you could admire it for hours. I know that Louvre love to make wonderful architectures for their museums, with the one in Paris that i visited few yeras back, but this one in AUH is really eye-catching. The galleries were fascinating, from prehistoric stones, to the modern arts i really enjoyed it. To all art enthusiasts, i would really recommend to check it out, you will not forget that experience.

The staff were incredibly kind and attentive — my mom wasn’t feeling well and couldn’t walk for long, and they immediately offered a wheelchair without us even asking. It made such a difference and allowed us to enjoy the museum comfortably and see all the beautiful collections. I also loved that the museum has its own app — you can listen for free to detailed stories and history about the main artifacts, and it’s available in multiple languages. Super informative and helpful! Definitely worth visiting again. Beautiful place, amazing service, and a very thoughtful experience overall! There is Fazaa card discount so you can get the tickets at the same time!

It is a beautiful museum and much larger that I thought. I was impressed that they managed to do thematic themes and chronological themes at the same time. Normally I only prefer an chronological exhibition. I also like that the museum has borrow objects from French museum and museums in the Golf and the Middle East to supplement their own collection. The museum consists of a beautiful roof and many buildings underneath the roof - so it does not feel so warm even when it is a 40⁹ day. There is a nice museum shop, a cafe, a restaurant and some places to have a coffee or a soda. And there is also a sea turtle sanctuary at the museum area. I spent two hours at the museum.

Great museum with lots of exhibitions. We enjoyed the displays while we enjoyed the cool air conditions on a somewhat hot day. The museum has the infrastructure to take pictures if that is something you would enjoy. We spent about two hours and was enough to walk all the displays.

A very large shopping mall located quite a distance from central Dubai. It has a wide variety of stores from different brands, and if you search well and get lucky, you might find items with good discounts — especially in less common sizes. For example, very small or very large sizes, or products from past seasons that are slightly outdated or left in single sizes. Overall, don’t expect massive discounts and be ready to rely on your luck. There’s a huge free parking area, plus a supermarket, pharmacy, and all the other usual facilities

Honestly, the prices are normal. There are no special offers, discounts, and so on. It is less crowded than Dubai Mall, but still there are people.

This place has the best brands outlet the prices are really cheap you can find Nike, Adidas, Burberry, Balmain Boss, Armani etc all of them original brands , this mall is really huge. If you want to wear good clothes and low prices this is the indicated place I recommend it.

Legoland theme park and water park is an absolutely amazing experience and a true heaven for children. My family had a wonderful time exploring both parks, and the detailed LEGO builds and interactive rides sparked so much creativity. ​Tip for Visiting: I highly recommend dedicating one full day to each park (Theme Park on Day 1, Water Park on Day 2). Trying to rush through both in a single day means you miss out on a lot of the fun and enjoyment. Splitting them up allowed us to savor the experience and make the most of our tickets. ​A Quick Note on Food: The food inside the park is a bit expensive, which is typical for a theme park, but the quality was decent and it was definitely worth it for the convenience and to keep the awesome day going. ​Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we left with tired, happy kids and incredible memories! We will definitely be back.

I went for a full day access with my 8 and 4 years old kids. All I can say that it was a wonderful experience for all of us. The park was very organized and clean starting from the entrance to the main hall, and going to the deferent parts of the park. The shows were amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My advice: 1) Get an online ticket and try to book 1 day prior to get a discounded tickets 2) Go early at opening time to have most of the parks covered 3) Start your journey with the indoor activities at day time and the outdoors when the heat cools down 4) Buy a refill Mug or 2 since this will cut down the costs.

I visited LEGOLAND Dubai with my family (Wife 5 years son and 10 months Daughter) and we all had an absolutely amazing time! The park is perfect for young kids- everything is colourful, creative and designed to spark imagination. My son especially loved driving school, the mini roller coaster and the interactive Lego building area. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the park was clean and well- organised. There were plenty of shaded spots and water play area, which made it comfortable even on a warm day. The mini LEGO versions of famous landmarks in MINILAND were impressive for both kids and adults. We spent almost the entire day exploring, and my son didn’t want to leave! It’s a wonderful place for families with younger children- educational, fun and full of excitement. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Dubai with Kids!

Had a fantastic family weekend away to celebrate our son's 5th birthday. The pool was closed but the hotel gave us access to 2 parks as compensation and we had two wonderful days at legoland Park and the waterpark. In the morning and evening time the children loved the activities provided in the fun zone and the creative workshop. Special mention to Habib in the fun zone who was so patient and helpful with my boys during the car make and race activity. Other shout outs include Ramana aswell as Sandy, Solomon and Emem. They kept our kids entertained for the rise and shine and duplo steam. Stayed in the fully themed pirate room which our boys oved. I would recommend getting to breakfast earlier rather than later as it gets very busy. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

This review is for the WATERPARK of Legoland: The entry fee is very expensive for what you get. We’ve been there several times and there’s always some slides closed. The food is terrible. It’s only fast food and it tastes if it was all fried in old oil. Some staff is nice but some can’t even smile which is a shame in a kids place. The areas for little ones are not great, not so much do do. The build a boat station was nice though and some slides are quite fun. But all in all that’s the least good waterpark around Dubai.

Legoland Dubai is a perfect place for families and kids every corner is full of creativity and happiness. The rides are safe, well-managed, and ideal for younger children. Absolutely magical stay! The hotel is fully themed from LEGO walls to treasure hunts in the room. Staff are friendly, food is great, and kids loved every moment.

But end up 45 mins of waiting … bus captain 106 just wait the bus full then start working … pretty tired after a looong walk . And everyone is not happy . Waste of time ! Don’t think it is honest way … Other than the transport issue , global village is worth to visit

Marina Beach .. Where Time Forgot Us the night felt like it was made just for us .. We walked with bare feet in the cool sand, felt the water touch our toes like it was greeting us again, remembered us. Then we laid down on the sand, watching the sea, holding each other close, whispering, joking, and remembering our first time at the beach… with that soft k.. that still makes me smile)) even didn’t had my favourite(( The whole beach was quiet and lovely under the full moon. It felt like the world disappeared, and it was only us , waves, and a sky full of stories. We forgot the time completely… until suddenly it was 3:30 AM, and somehow we still wanted more. We wished we could borrow hours from the next day, just to stay together a little longer .. nights like that are never enough. That moment… that beach… that moon… and we .. A memory that stays alive there like a breeze waiting till we back again and breathe it together ..

From the Marina Walk entrance, there’s a free kids’ play area, which was a pleasant surprise! There’s no free parking nearby, but paid parking is available. Just expect a bit of a walk from your parking spot to the beach. The area is clean, and the views are stunning, especially in the evening. Highly recommend visiting early morning or around sunset for a more comfortable experience.

There are catamaran cruise which can be booked bprior to avoid any inconvenience. The Yacht takes the tourist in the water and there is food, beverages to enjoy with dance

What a place I never seen such a nice out of place. Neat and clean huge with lots of shops. Lots of restaurants a lot of good vibes around you can spend the whole day over there have a lot of different kinds of food, sweets tea coffee drinks you name it you can find it and you can find All kinds of different prices and you can enjoy their anything that you are thinking of having a nice environment. I visited Souq Waqif last September and absolutely loved the experience. The atmosphere is vibrant yet authentic — narrow alleys filled with the aroma of spices, freshly brewed Arabic coffee, and the sound of local music. The architecture beautifully preserves Qatar’s heritage, and the people are incredibly welcoming. There’s something for everyone — from traditional garments and souvenirs to art galleries and restaurants serving delicious Middle Eastern cuisine. I especially enjoyed wandering around in the evening when the souq comes alive with lights and local energy. If you want to experience the true essence of Qatar, Souq Waqif is a must-visit. Can’t wait to return on my next trip!

Definitely the highlight of Doha and one of the liveliest places in the city. The Souq sits on a historic trading site that has existed for more than a century. It was restored in 2006–2008 using traditional materials, giving it an authentic old-Qatar appearance. You’ll find everything here, Spices, perfumes, oud, traditional clothing, handicrafts, carpets, antiques, and souvenirs, Falcon Souq, lots of restaurants and cafes, and galleries, traditional workshops, and local artisan products. The lively night atmosphere here is simply AMAZING! Families, tourists, and locals walking through its narrow alleys, enjoying street performances, shisha cafés, and seasonal events. And with the Arab Cup around the corner, that place is going to be something else!! The Souq preserves Qatar’s market heritage while functioning as a cultural and social hub. It’s a must-visit for anyone wanting to experience traditional Gulf charm in the heart of modern Doha.

Souq Waqif is one of the most beautiful places I’ve visited in Qatar. The atmosphere has an amazing, unique energy. The souq is full of diverse booths, restaurants, and street food. It’s a bit crowded, but the old alleys and traditional heritage give the place a wonderful charm.

A beautiful, reconstructed traditional market right in the heart of Doha. It’s especially lively at night and honestly one of the best places in the city to walk around and spend time. It’s full of souvenir shops, nice restaurants, and cozy cafés. You can find all kinds of interesting local items like Qatari halwa, shisha, Arabic coffee, and lots of tasty food. One cool thing is that part of the market actually has cooling systems built into the floor to keep the area comfortable. The atmosphere is really pleasant and there’s parking available nearby.

A beautiful place to visit showcasing local markets and restaurants.It tends to get busy at night especially weekends and winter time. Events also happen sometimes to entertain tourists,residents and locals with their family. You will also find here the iconic thumb finger.

Nice museum, like 4 floors , very nice, expect to spend from 1.5 hours and up if you read everything 😀 👍 , very educational. Interesting. My suggestion come near sunset time it's so beautiful , the views amazing outside to the city.

Gazing at the magnificent architecture and view is rivalled only by the immense plethora of knowledge one is emerged it. It is definitely worth visiting. The museum displays Islamic history and modernity. Tickets are available at the entrance. Be ready for quite a walk, though you wouldn't notice it - once immersed in the vast ocean of knowledge.

Museum of Islamic art is situated in its own island close to Corniche. The museum had permanent exhibits of art from various regions where the religion was prominent at a given time in history. They also had a temporary exhibit about the making of the museum. Loved this exhibit. They had original blue prints, Drawings, interviews etc. what was the philosophy behind the building shape and architecture. Do recommend to go there.

Beautiful building and exhibitions to stroll around for an hour or two. The audio tour could have been a bit more informative, and will definitely try the Alan Ducasse restaurant, Idam, next visit. It was very quiet and calm when I visited.

Fantastic collection; great building by IM Pei. Views across the water. Decent café but also top rated restaurant (not cheap). Lighting on objects is excellent -- no glare, easy to appreciate and also easy to photograph.

Very Nice place to chill in the evening. The Dhow cruise experience is very nice. All dhow operators are very polite and price is reasonable. A must do activity when you are in Doha. There are certain points for e-Bike rentals.

Qatar Corniche is a beautiful and peaceful place to relax and enjoy the sea view. We can see many people coming here for jogging and cycling, choosing this route for its clean and scenic atmosphere. Especially the morning view — it’s absolutely speechless! Perfect spot for families and evening walks too

My scenic tour along the Corniche was a picturesque one, (though on my visit the hazy weather did my photos no justice,) I was happy to be at this beautiful Promenade with lovely harbour views. From the Dhow boats in the harbourfront, to the beautiful downtown Doha skyline, a nice leisurely walk along the foot path could lead you into Al Dafna Park and seems a tranquil place in the evening. Another area of interest...hopefully for a future visit

The Tree of Life in Bahrain is a 400-year-old mesquite tree standing alone in the Sakhir desert, about 40 km from Manama. Rising nearly 10 meters tall, it thrives without any visible water source, making it a symbol of resilience and mystery. Surrounded by legends—some link it to the Garden of Eden—it remains one of Bahrain’s most famous landmarks and a must-visit cultural treasure. Tree of Life is a lone Prosopis cineraria ( tree in the middle of the desert which is 400‒440 years old, believed to have been planted around 1582-1583 It stands on a sandy hill in the Southern Governorate, in the desert (Sakhir area). It’s remarkable because it survives in the desert without any visible source of water. There is no nearby river, stream, or irrigation, and rainfall is minimal. 1. Very deep roots (possibly reaching groundwater) 2. Adaptation to arid desert climate, such as small leaves, ability to use moisture from soil or air. There are myths and legends, too — some say Enki (a Sumerian/Babylonian god) protects it; others suggest it might mark the site of something ancient like the Garden of Eden. Best seen after dusk or near sunset for dramatic lighting. The drive off the main highway (Musakar Highway) can go through soft sand, so it’s safer to have a decent vehicle and be careful. Bring water and maybe some snacks; amenities are limited.

I went mid-day during the week. There were not any other visitors during that time. The area around the tree is much cleaner than it was 10 years ago the last time i visited. Nearby there are ruins and within a short drive there are other landmarks and destinations. There was a security person there who was knowledgeable about the tree's history and friendly also. A must see when visiting Bahrain. There are public restrooms near the tree if the need arises. Be careful on the drive there through the oil field roads. There are a lot of speed bumps that you would not expect on a road with such high speed limits. Some of the speed bumps are not marked or painted as well. This could be very dangerous at night.

A visit hete is a good way to see ehat the landscape outside the built up areas looks like - you will go through desert and pass many oil wells on the way there. The tree is inside a large circle of protected land, but not in the centre of it, so you can walk all the way round getting different perspectives.

One of the must visit tourist spot when you visit Bahrain! This Amazing tree is said to be over 400 years! I’m astonished that despite the harsh weather and deserted area, the tree still flourish and continue to grow strong and sturdy! It withstand against time amazingly! The area around the tourist spot has really improved a lot! There are many tents for camping and food bazaars around! I remember when we can touch the tree personally. But now, there are fences around it to protect the tree. It’s good to know that the government is protecting the tree to maintain its natural health thus preserving the great history within it. When I went there, it find it just sad that the people were really loud and the ATV bike riders are making the air dusty! Making also the place not as solemn as it should be. But I had a great time to revisit this place after 2 decades! Would definitely comeback and hope the tree is till alive and flourishing!

It's just a tree. We can say a grandfather tree, 400 years old. Many people go just to see that place and the wonderful tree. The place has a full time security. Surrounding is maintained very neatly.

Very beautiful masjid. Large space and very detailed architectural design. Very good maintenance. You have to be patient with the people Due to more crowds on Friday prayer, because take out your car from parking will take time.

Beautiful grand mosque, for up to 7,000 people. The entrance is free and they provide you appropriate Arabic clothes if you are not dressed according to their standards. There is a quick free tour as well. Definitely worth a visit while in Bahrain.

Al-Fateh Grand Masjid is truly breathtaking. Its architecture is magnificent, the atmosphere serene, and the spacious prayer hall radiates warmth and tranquillity. The staff and guides are welcoming and knowledgeable, making the visit both spiritually uplifting. A must-visit for anyone coming to Manama. Friday khutbah is translated from Arabic to English

An absolute must when visiting Bahrain. Dress appropriately. We were given robes & scarves & enjoyed a free private tour by a volunteer. He was so informative & the interior is stunning. We were able to discreetly watch the call to midday prayers & the followers.

A very large mosque. During prayer times, there are many worshippers. The car park next to the mosque is very large, but on Friday it was completely full of cars. As you can see, worshippers hold this place in very high regard. If you want to see what it looks like inside, you will have to choose another day.

An impressing mosque and great place to go. I had an official guide employed by the bahraini government who explained a lot of details. Although I have been to other mosques I got to know more about the religion and culture. Make sure that you are there with an official guide.

When we visited the Mosque, we were able to join a small English speaking group for a short tour. The guide gave a brief introduction to Islam as well as pointing out the salient features of the inside of the building. We were able to witness the call to prayer being delivered during our visit. Appropriate clothing is provided if one is inappropriately dressed.

Nice enough museum but lots of work going on so it will greet bigger and better I am sure. I was trying to find the aerial pictures of Bahrain over the ages that I’d seen before but couldn’t find them ☹️ maybe next time!

Well laid out informative museum, good boat trip over to Pearling Walk from outside museum. Gives you a real education into history and customs of Bahrain. Theatre and Art Gallery adjacent. Need an Uber or taxi to get there as quite isolated from public transport. Only 1BD to enter.

A must to see!!! Pasargadae covers the archaeological remains of the first capital of the Persian Empire, dating from the 6th century BC. Its most important monument is the tomb of Cyrus the Great, the founder of the Achaemenid Empire who went on to conquer much of the ancient Near East, Southwest Asia, Central Asia and the Caucasus. Spot half day to fully explore. Highly recommended!!!

A great place to visit, although not much remained of the former capital of the Persian empire. The ruins are spread over a large surface which is difficult to cover if it wasn't for the touristic car that runs inside the site.

A vast area of some ancient ruins yet not so much to see. There is a train-like vehicle that takes you from one place to see to another with a small fee. Better to take it.

Tomb of Cyrus the great. The tomp represents, in many ways, the resilience of the Iranian people. Most Iranians today identify a lot with the values of human rights from during Cyrusses times. He is a hero for most, and learning more about him made me understand better the Iranian people and my trip truly special. Please have a guide with you.

Where the history of a great Empire begins. Occupying a beautiful expanse of park-like meadow, here, at Pasargad, in a gabled temple recalling early early ziggurats and the temple at Musasir, Cyrus the Great (600-529 BC) was buried. Cyrus' temple-tomb crowns six stages which decrease in height as they progress upward, a miniature ziggurat, potent beyond any consideration of dimension. Take your time and enjoy your visit.

There is absolutely nothing to see except the tomb. I paid 2 500 000 Rials as a tourist.

I visited this mall on August 25, 2025. It is the biggest mall in Kuwait and you will need half a day to explore everything. In terms of prices, all the items to buy are branded, so it is hmmmmmmm. It is a great place to explore and spend your free time. It is mostly crowded at night time but at the same time night time is the best for the best view. There are a lot of restaurants and coffee shops everywhere, so don't worry about food and snacks. It is also a paradise for children. There is a lot of entertainment for them, while parents should be careful because if you sleep, your credit card and wallet will be empty 🤣🤣🤣 Washrooms are available. Prayer room also available.

I have been to this mall many times and it is a great mall it has everything you could possibly need. You can shop for clothes, cosmetics, etc. The mall has lots of restaurants. There is a movie theater and tons of benches to sit down. It's although huge but it's a very nice mall

Very strange market. One benefit and a drawback is that most of the traders are arranged in sections. All exchange offices are on one street, so you can compare the rates quickly. But on the other hand, it is difficult to find an exchange elsewhere. Goods are all the same in many shops: perfumes, rolls of fabrics. Barely anything for the tourists. Heritage street with mostly closed shops. All the sellers are sitting in the shops talking to somebody on the phones. Nobody's interested in the customers. Most of the shops are very small. How did you survive the covid?

If you want to visit the old market and bazar of kuwait 🇰🇼 that is revamped and renovated with modern looks, then you must visit Al Mubarakiya. Everything there is well managed and cleaned. Old houses and structures, that was once the homes of people, now turned into shops. The market structure and shops make me feel like the old architectural design from a story from Alladin. Street with warm lighting ambience in style of old lantern, structure, small ventilation windows, old retro door of houses with chain buckles, still used to lock doors of shop, Adobe looks of houses now transformed into shops, made you time travel into time. All the shops are well organised and you can find a lot of clothing, restaurants, tea shops, sweet shops, perfume shop there. I simply love visiting this area. As many people were there, I was not comfortable taking pictures of the vicinity but somehow managed to get a few shots. Barbecue of the one of the restaurant 😋 is delicious with a good serving size but expensive.

So pretty! But after going inside, there’s not much to do asides from a restaurant and the gift shop only had a couple items. Overall a good place to stop by if you haven’t been here before. Not worth going a second time though

I think it’s a nice park and the towers are quite striking from the outside. The day I went it was foggy, so I just walked around but didn’t go up. It was worth the taxi ride to visit and I would recommend it just to get outside and walk around in November.

Amazing view of the whole city. The viewing doom has a snacks bar & drinks. it has two levels, non-rotating which is wheel chair friendly and the upper level ''stairs access only'' is the rotating one. An entrance fee is required ''at this time of writing the review, is 3 K.D. per adult, Elders on Wheel chairs are FREE of charge''. The middle sphyre has two resturants that serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. But a reservation must be made!! A really nice place to visit! Unfortunatly, before it has a gallary about the Iraqi invasion distruction. but they remove it after renovation. its a really peace of history and should be kept in there!
