With its medieval charm and attentive staff, this hidden gem offers exceptional hospitality. Guests rave about the delicious flavors of the food and the impressive selection of beverages, from refreshing smoothies to a full bar.
A medieval castle nested in the mountains overlooking the bluest waters you will ever sea. A one of a kind relaxing experience. Quite, relaxing, comfortable, and super clean for a one day trip. Close to Newebai" Dahab and Sharm, the place is definitely worth the ride. The food is slow cooked and must be ordered in advance, but it is incredibly tasty. You need to book in advance, a bit pricy, but worth it.

Great place in Nuweiba. We took the lamb shoulder, its delicious! Strict rules but the place is so worth visiting! There's an amazing artificial pond for relaxation. Music is nice. The views are breathtaking. It is really recommended if you are in the area. The Margeritas are highly recommended!

A Magical Hidden Gem in Sinai Castle Zaman is truly a breathtaking experience. The scenery is out of this world. Perched above the Red Sea with panoramic views of the mountains and water, it feels like stepping into a serene dream. The atmosphere and ambiance are peaceful, relaxed, and so unique. Soft, calming music plays in the background, adding to the tranquil, magical vibe of the whole place. Every corner is designed with intention. One of my favorite parts was exploring the “dungeon”. It felt like a treasure adventure. Hidden below the castle, it is filled with beautifully handcrafted glasses, plates, bowls, and other unique pieces all for sale. I ordered a slow-cooked veal leg dish. It was served with veggies, molokhya, and roz. Absolutely delicious, and one of the most satisfying meals I have had in Sinai. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, and the welcome drink was a lovely touch that made the experience even more special. Even the bathrooms were spotless and beautifully done, with natural materials and no cold metal anywhere in sight. Every detail reflects care, artistry, and harmony with nature. A special thank you to Lucy for her professionalism, kindness, and for making my time there so joyful. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique escape with incredible views, authentic food, and peaceful energy. Thank you, Castle Zaman, for an unforgettable day. ✨

Colored Canyon

Hiking area
Nature & Parks
Canyons
Eroding sandstone & limestone formed by the Red Sea created layers of color in this striking gorge.
Beautiful canyon, worth visiting during any tour in Egypt. There could be a lot of other tourist and can be crowded, the rocks and formations are not like in the photoshoped brosures so don't get very excited. The road to the canyon is a fun jeep safari ride trough the sand, it is worth visiting once.

5 stars! The tour to the Colored Canyon was an amazing experience! The guides were simply fantastic, they accompanied us with serenity and professionalism all day, explaining every detail and making us feel at ease. We snorkeled in crystal clear waters along the reef, a relaxing camel ride through the desert and an exciting quad bike adventure! And the final touch was Fabrizio's photo shoot, which captured us in beautiful and unforgettable moments. The company was great and we had a really memorable day. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to discover the beauty of the Colored Canyon!" 😊👍📸 Special thanks to Osama guide of extreme precision and professionalism!

The Colored Canyon - Review The Colored Canyon is a natural wonder in the Sinai desert, offering a truly unique and visually stunning experience. It's a geological formation carved over millions of years by water and wind, resulting in a narrow gorge with towering, multi-colored sandstone walls. * Vibrant Scenery: The canyon's main attraction is its walls, which display a breathtaking palette of colors from shades of yellow and orange to deep red and purple. These colors are created by various mineral deposits, and the way sunlight filters through the narrow passages creates a magical and ever-changing display. * The Experience: A visit typically involves a guided hike through the canyon's winding and sometimes narrow passages. This adventure is suitable for most fitness levels, though it may involve some light scrambling over rocks. The journey is an opportunity to appreciate the intricate rock formations and the sheer power of nature. * Beyond the Canyon: Tours to the Colored Canyon often combine it with other popular desert activities, such as jeep safaris, camel rides, and visits to other nearby attractions like the Blue Hole or Dahab. This makes it a great full-day excursion for those staying in Sharm El Sheikh or Nuweiba. * Photography: For photographers and nature enthusiasts, the canyon is a paradise. Every turn offers a new composition, with the vibrant colors and unique textures providing endless opportunities for stunning photos. Final Word: The Colored Canyon is an essential stop for anyone visiting the Sinai Peninsula. It’s an adventure that engages all the senses and provides a profound appreciation for the natural artistry of the desert.

We came as part of a Dahab tour. We were transported among the sand dunes by a Jeep- was fun! The canyon itself is amazing- we'd had an easy hike down in the canyon. Wear good shoes! The sand is hot- so my advice is no sandals, wear socks. At the exit there is a beduin family offering tea and selling handmade crafts.

The colored canyon is a beautiful place and I highly recommend you visit if you go to dahab it’s a absolutely breath taking a very nice hike but make sure to go early because it can get very hot!

Raju B — Google review
I recently booked my Egypt vacation through this travel agency, and overall, I was quite satisfied with the services provided. I visited three cities—Cairo, Aswan, and Luxor—and I’ll share my experience for each separately. To start on an honest note, one aspect that disappointed me was the lack of transparency. Before confirming the trip, I specifically asked whether the same travel agency would be handling our itinerary across all three cities, and I was told yes. However, upon arriving in Egypt, I discovered that they only managed our Cairo itinerary. The other two cities were handled by a different firm (whose name I will not mention, as all payments were made to the original agency). This created a breach of trust and was not what I expected based on our initial conversations. Cairo We were warmly received at the Cairo airport by an agent holding a name board with my name on it. He assisted us smoothly through immigration and introduced us to our guide, Mr. Faris. Mr. Faris was truly a consummate professional—extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Egyptian history. From the Great Pyramids to the Civilization Museum, he explained everything in great detail. I was especially impressed by his use of a laser pointer, which he used to highlight specific areas of monuments and museum displays while explaining their significance. This level of detail made the tour both engaging and educational. Aswan Unfortunately, the experience in Aswan was quite the opposite. The guide, Ms. Asma, was arranged by the local partner agency—not by Nature Travels. To be honest, she was a complete disappointment. A visit to ancient monuments can easily feel monotonous if the guide isn’t enthusiastic or well-prepared, and that was exactly the case here. While she seemed to know some of the symbolism and drawings in the temples, her reluctance to guide us properly was evident. She lacked the passion and depth needed for such a historic tour. What’s worse, she did not give any historical background before entering the sites, which is usually the most engaging part of a temple tour. To add to the frustration, although the agency was supposed to cover the guide’s meals and beverages, she ordered a juice and then asked us to pay the bill. I went ahead and paid, simply to avoid any confrontation. Overall, Aswan was a disappointing part of our trip, primarily due to the unprofessional guide. Luxor Luxor turned things around completely. Our guide here, Ms. Amera Demo, was outstanding—possibly the best guide I’ve ever had. From the moment she met us in the hotel lobby, her warm, proactive, and friendly demeanor made a lasting impression. As soon as we got into the van, she pulled out paper and pen to sketch how the pyramids were originally built and explained why the Pharaohs transitioned from pyramids to tombs in Luxor. She shared crisp, fascinating facts about Egyptian history and dynasties in a way that was both informative and entertaining. Ms. Amera also made personal connections, chatting about her children and their dreams, which made us feel like we were touring with a family friend rather than just a guide. Her depth of historical knowledge and genuine enthusiasm made our Luxor visit truly memorable. Final Thoughts Despite the initial trust issue and the unpleasant experience in Aswan, the professionalism in Cairo and the excellence in Luxor balanced things out. Any concerns I raised were addressed promptly and professionally by the agency, which I truly appreciated. On the whole, I would rate this experience a 7 out of 10—mostly due to the Aswan segment—but I’d still recommend this agency, especially for their Cairo and Luxor arrangements.

El Bells - Blue Hole

Mentioned on
2 lists
Swimming pool
Nature & Parks
El Bells - Blue Hole is a renowned dive site located 8km north of Dahab, Egypt. The Blue Hole is a striking sinkhole that plunges straight down, possibly reaching depths of 130m. While experienced technical divers can explore the deeper sections, there's plenty to see near the surface with abundant marine life around the outer lip. Snorkeling and diving are accessible from El Bells without harming the reef, thanks to a mini-canyon nearby.
Simply serenity. Great calm warm blue waters. Nice servers but not much to offer in this secluded spot. Not easy to get to. Bumpy road then a boat ride then another bumpy ride.
Ahmad A — Google review
Perhaps this «El Bells» is hyped/praised too much? Too much mystic about it? The "chimney" turns out to be a deep vertical crack in the dropping wall, leading downward to 30+ meters. It is open out to the sea all the way, so you practically don't swim in a «chimney» such many have thought it should be.
Vinh N — Google review
One of the most beautiful places in the world for diving and snorkeling.
Yossi E — Google review
I like when I dive through the tunnel. It takes around 3 minutes from the surface to the exit of El bells. You need to keep equalise as it go deep directly. But it’s not that scaring and difficult. Just very narrow. Be careful not to break anything. When you exit, you will dive follow the cliff to Blue hole. If the weather is good, that part is so beautiful! I have no photo and videos as I lost Osmo4 at here. Hope you to find mine! Lol
Mothusi — Google review
Try hiking the mountains next to the fast boat meeting point. The view is magical up there. Taking a fast boat to Abu Galoum from here is very unorganized, its not safe for pregnant women, children or anyone with back problems. It costs EGP 120 per person for two-way trip to Abu Galoum excluding car rides.
Passant E — Google review
Just before the boats to Abu Galoum, there are some wooden posts: that's the bells. Here you can enter for snorkeling/diving to the Blue Hole, without destroying the reef, as there is a mini-canyon. When you look down, it's really deep right away, its great. From here you can follow the reef up to where it slopes down, where you go over the reef into the blue hole, which you can exit at the stairs. The reef here is probably even nicer than the actual blue hole.

Dahab Safari Day Tours is a reliable and professional tour operator in Dahab, Egypt. The company offers well-organized and enjoyable tours at competitive prices. The staff, particularly Ahmed, is known for their professionalism and excellent English-speaking skills. One of the popular tours includes a visit to Mount Sinai and Saint Catherine with knowledgeable guides who provide insightful information about Egyptian history. Additionally, the tour to Petra in Jordan is described as an unforgettable experience that's worth the journey and cost.
After walking up and down the strip and getting an idea on pricing, I came across Dahab Safari Day Tours and was introduced to Ahmed. He was always able to get me the best price on all the tours I wanted to do. Compared to some other cowboys nearby, Ahmed was professional and spoke with perfect English. Every tour I booked with him was well organised and great fun. He even sorted me a competitive taxi ride to the airport and when I lost my phone, was able to coordinate its return. What a life saver!

I was alone 2 days with my beduin guide, Selmi in the Shinai desert, near the White Canyon. Originally I wanted it to be 3 days, but due to technical issues with my bus I couldn't make it in time. Dahab Safari was kind and flexible enough to let me do the remaining 2 days. They quickly converted the 3 days safari to a 2 days safari and said they just want me to have a nice experience. I did have a very good experience, I wanted to have a glimps of an authentic beduin life for a few days and Selmi, my beduin guide did a fantastic job showing it to me. He also showed some beautiful places, cooked and made delicious beduin tea for me. I never felt insecure for a second, from the beginning I felt I can trust the drivers and Selmi too. For some people this might be a bit too much, so I would recommend this for hikers, and who has at least a normal fitness level. I think Dahab Safari may also offer smoother tours too. I can guarantee that those, who like adventures will have a wonderful time! Thank you Selmi, and thank you Dahab Safari, I would give you more than 5 stars if I could! 🙂

Dahab Tours staff are very helpful and accommodating!! They have the best customer service! They rescheduled my trip a couple of times, and were all very nice about it. I appreciated it very much! This tour provider is disturbingly unprofessional and dangerously unprepared for emergency situations. One of the women on this unguided "guided tour" of Saint Catherine broke her foot and there was nobody around to take responsibility. Don't risk your life with this irresponsible company.
Sam S — Google review
We have three tours with them and they only messed up with one. They forgot to pick us up but we managed not to miss the boat.
KB W — Google review
Visited Mount Sinai and Saint Catherine, with Jimmy as my tour guide. He did a wonderful job explaining Egyptian history to me. He was extremely helpful, assisting me during my mountain climb as I struggle with anxiety. This was a culturally immersive tour, prepare to learn and grow. Please be in relatively good shape prior to touring or climbing the mountain. Yes, they have camels, but not for the entire mountain trip. I visited from the United States. The cultural differences were challenging for me, and if you are a picky eater or have dietary restrictions, bring your own food. For those who struggle with debilitating anxiety, it may not be advisable to go.
Tyron H — Google review
Did 2 tours with them. Petra Day trip and Sunrise Mount Sinai Hike/Saint Catherine Monastery Tours. The staff were friendly and helpful. Both trips went relatively well. Giving 2 stars because I realize that I paid double the price compared to what some other foreign travelers paid for the Mount Sinai hike. Understand that some tour agencies charge higher prices but this difference was much to be ignored.

Saint Catherine's Monastery

Mentioned on

Church
Sights & Landmarks
Saint Catherine's Monastery is a Greek Orthodox monastery located in the Sinai Peninsula, with a history dating back to around AD 330. It was initially built as a small chapel and refuge for hermits near the burning bush where God spoke to Moses. Today, it is one of the oldest functioning monastic communities globally and houses an extensive library with ancient manuscripts, a church adorned with icons, and a serene garden.
The world's oldest continuously inhabited Christian monastery tells the tale of the whole world, not only christians. The monastery was built by the Byzantine Emperor Justinian I, enclosing what is claimed to be the burning bush seen by Moses. Centuries later, the believed body of Saint Catherine of Alexandria, was taken to the monastery. Ages of history and religion, all in one place. This is a must!
Bogdan B — Google review
A hidden marvel. The monastery opens only for one hour per day and limits the access to the Burning Bush, the church and the well. There's also a collection of old icons but it was closed on the day of our visit. There is also a small shop with icons, candles and so on. We could take pictures everywhere except for the church. Combined with climbing Sinai mountain, the monastery is a one the rare and unique experiences worth doing.
Edward S — Google review
The trip from Sharm el-Sheikh to the monastery was wonderful. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the museum with the icons, which is the most interesting part of the site, was closed, and there was no advance notice. Penso che non sia una cosa corretta, pullman di persone che arrivano e poi trovano il museo con le icone chiuso. We ended up wasting our time there. The monastery and church are beautiful, however.

Visited this Monastery after we completed Moses Mountain hike. The building is truly unique and historical. Located at foothill of Moses Mountain. Amaze upon seeing the burning bush 3000 years old tree. Also the Moses well, you can drink the water too. There is a mosque inside too but not in use. Many old manuscript too. Plenty olive trees surrounding the compound.

The oldest Christian orthodox monastery in the world. With beautiful history and amazing library. The Bedouins and the monks live with harmony

Jabal Mousa, also known as Mount Sinai or Gebel Musa, is a revered natural reserve with rich biodiversity and archaeological ruins. It holds great religious significance for Christians, Muslims, and Jews who believe that Moses received the Ten Commandments at its summit. The mountain offers a beautiful and relatively easy climb, providing a glimpse into biblical times for pilgrims. Hikers are required to be accompanied by local Bedouin guides.
A Life-Changing Experience at Mount Sinai Climbing Mount Sinai was truly one of the most incredible experiences of my life. The journey is both physically challenging and spiritually uplifting, offering a deep connection to nature and history. Starting the hike under a breathtaking blanket of stars, the peaceful silence of the desert night feels almost sacred. The Bedouin guides were exceptional—kind, knowledgeable, and attentive to everyone’s needs. Along the way, the small stops to enjoy tea or coffee at the Bedouin huts made the trek even more memorable, adding warmth and local charm to the experience. Reaching the summit just before sunrise was beyond words. Watching the first light break over the vast, rugged mountains was not only stunning but deeply moving—a moment of pure awe and gratitude. On the way back, visiting St. Catherine’s Monastery added another layer of wonder to the trip. The history, the Burning Bush, and the quiet reverence of the monastery made it clear why this area is such a spiritual landmark. I’m so grateful to have been healthy and strong enough to complete this journey. It’s not just a hike—it’s an unforgettable adventure that leaves you with a sense of peace, accomplishment, and connection. If you’re considering it, don’t hesitate. Mount Sinai will leave you changed forever.

It was the most surreal and brilliant sunrise I have ever seen! I climbed Mt Sinai on 11 April 2025. The climb with the Bedouin guide is actually quite easily paced with a number of rest stops on the way. I ascended to the summit in 2.5 hrs (walking a bit faster than what my guide wanted). The 750 steps to the top are a pleasant challenge. The summit was freezing (3°C / 37°F) and it was a bit windy, too. I strongly advise you rent of one of those big blankets from the rest stop near the summit. The sunrise was magnificent. I cannot explain it. Mystical! Magical. Divine! *****

What a privilege to go up Mount Sinai. It was a joy, and, for those used to hikes or treks, a easy way up. We had a Bedouin guide who was nice and helpful. And what a sunrise! For those who can, please experience this. For those of us who are from cities, to see a sight such as this is very good for the soul.

This place is one of the most important spots on Earth that you must visit once in a lifetime if you are interested in history, eligion, antrophology ,or you simpy want to see unforgetable stunning biblical sunrise...the path is long and rocky, but worth the effort (Photos by Sebastian Galion)

An unique experience, which I will never forget! The ascent started at around 1:30am and at 5:00am the first pictures of the sunrise on the top of Mount Sinai were taken. Unlike most of the others, I didn't manage to reach the top, unfortunately. At the stopping place where the camels finished climbing, I stopped too... somewhere at around 2000 m. That night I think I was the only one who abandoned the climb. I also know why, that's why I have some advice for those who... are of an age... (60+), who don't have the best physical condition or maybe even, in their strong desire to achieve this ascent, forget that they have some medical circumstances that, with such physical effort, could become active and prevent them from fulfilling their dream. Now I know where and why I failed, and next time I will do it differently: I will pay the price to climb up to 2000m by camel... (why didn't I do that now? I thought I could do it, even if I went slower); I will conserve my energy for the remaining 285m, the last part of the ascent, with the 750 steps, in front of which I have now given up; I will enjoy all the splendor of the night in an unique landscape - this stone desert with lofty heights that pierce the darkness of the night in the light of the moon and stars, I will let myself be veiled by the high energy of this unique, mystic place, instead of slowly falling prey to a painful physical exhaustion that has taken over my entire being, ... I will wander with my gaze over the starry sky, instead of keeping my eyes on the ground more, following the playful light of the flashlight that would reveal to me where I could step more safely... The ascent was made at a sustained pace, which I could not keep up... that's it.. when you have 5-6 comrades from the UN troops in the team, I don't think it could have been otherwise... Finally,... I hope God will help me to come back... the sooner, the better!

The world's best holy mountains, an eternal Landmark and one of the holiest places in Christianity, Judaism and Islam. A mountain facing the sky. A spiritual attraction known as the place where Moses received the Ten Commandments. It was such a hard road that I wanted to give up, but the view from the top made all the effort worthwhile. I felt like I was holding out for this moment. It was my first experience hiking such a mountain, and it was harder than I expected! You'll need to bring a lot of snacks, water, dates and water. You'll find places to rest and take your breaths so don't miss them, and always follow your guide. A life time experience that I won't forget.

For sure it was a memorable experience. Breath taking views. The element of surprise when you climb at night, and at sunrise you begin to see all the beauty around you. Take with you comfortable shoes special for long distance. At the top of the mountain when you wait for the sunrise is cold, so bring with you warm clothes and enjoy. The way there took 3-4 hours, and back 2-3 hours.

Great experience seeing the sun rise at the summit. If you're planning to do this, keep in mind it is a mountain, and although the trail is straightforward, you'll have to ascend 2000ft at night sp careful consideration of footwear and clothing. Whilst you're walking, you'll be warm but as soon as you stop for a while (especially at the top) it will be cold so take warm clothing. You can hire blankets for 150 Egyptian pounds at the top.

Pickalbatros Royal Moderna Resort - Sharm El Sheikh

Upscale all-inclusive resort with a gym, outdoor pools & a water park, plus a spa & a private beach.
First of all, I would like to thank Mr. Ahmet from the reservation department. He welcomed us with a warm smile and did his best to make sure we got to our room quickly. The service, room cleanliness, and hotel location were truly perfect. All the staff were very polite and always smiling. Would I come back again? Definitely yes! 🌟 I only have one small suggestion: it would be wonderful if more Turkish dishes were included on the menu to suit the taste of Turkish guests. That would make everything absolutely flawless.

I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The hotel was massive and had plenty of space to do things. The pool was amazing was always nice to go in especially with the hot weather we had. The sun bed area was always easy to get a bed in the mornings for the day which helped us settle in the daytime. The food choice was always great throughout the day with plenty to choose from to get you through the day and the evening. The room was a great size with the beds being comfortable with a brilliant view from the balcony of the pool outside. The entertainment team was great during my time here and were always willing to have a chat and a laugh with me. I'd give a big mention to Kara who was amazing with her always having a smile on her face and making the mood feel good even if I had a bad day. Our last night she invited me and my best friend to the Hard rock cafe and it was an amazing time. Definitely will look to come back to this hotel in future, thank you everyone for making my stay a memorable one.

Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay. The hotel facilities are huge and so well-maintained, which was ideal for our family. The variety of pools meant there was something for everyone, from the kids' splash area, to the quieter adult pools. The entertainment team was amazing, providing fantastic, engaging activities for the children all day long. Furthermore, the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive to our family's needs. We couldn't have asked for a better holiday!

Overall, our family had a great holiday in this resort. Several positive points; staff is super nice, always helpful and efficient (everything is very clean, great service at the restaurant, plenty of lifeguards around the pools). The beach was great; you can either chill in the shallow part or go to the end of the jetty for snorkeling to see the coral reef. Food was outstanding with 4 restaurants to choose from and most of it delicious. Unbelievable how they manage this for such a big resort... We were unlucky for our first room but changing was not a hassle and our second room was great although you can hear the loud evening show music until 10pm. Main negative draw back was our experience with management/reception. Long story short, our reservation was done via a russian agency (family of my wife) but I have a belgian passport and our family lives in Belgium. Upon arrival, I was explained that I had to pay "the Belgian price", simply because of my passport. This was a 300 dollar extra to what was already paid and I wouldn't get my key unless it was settle. All this at 4am with tired kids after a day of travelling. Very unprofessional and purely discriminatory.

The hotel is great, very large in area with many pools, aquapark and various entertainment. It is very suitable for families with children. The rooms are spacious and very clean, the food is varied and delicious. The staff is very friendly and has a sense of humor. The show program is good and different every day. The beach is incredible, with a very long pontoon, you can go down to 3 places. It is not deep and there is a wide variety of fish. At the end of the pontoon there is a coral reef, which is very beautiful. They have life jackets.

The resort is smaller than many of the other 5 stars hotels, has fewer pools however the kids aqua is very nice. Its a great option for families with kids but not at all for adults or couples. The rooms are old and broken items might be found however they are good overall. Food is good and has many options but repeated every day. The snacks on the pool and the beach is very very limited not comparable to other 5 stars resorts. The activities are so good including the aqua gym and the night kids disco, but the shows are boring, very boring. The staff lack good hospitality and customer service ethics, they rarely smile, some of them made fun of the guests. Thats definitely not a 5 stars level. The most terrible part is that people steal stuff and Im not sure if they have recorded cams, Our pool towel has been taken from the seat and our room chairs have been taken away in the middle of the day! I won’t feel safe leaving anything in the room. Overall the experience equals 4 stars and doesnt worth the money paid, web have tried sunrise group, Jaz and charmillion, way better, thiz resort reminds me with another one called seabeach which is 4 stars but much more better night shows and animation ove there.

Back for our 26th trip. That should say it all. We are never disappointed coming here, and this was no exception. From the minute we walked in the door, to the minute we left after 10 days, we were looked after superbly. Great room, amazing food, spotlessly clean, and runs incredibly efficiently. You simply cannot complain, due to the excellent value for money you get. And special thanks as always, to the staff, especially Mostafa Rabiea in the Culina, John George on Reception, Osama, Waleed, Whafy & Mohammed, from the pool bars, El Sayeed the Egg Man, Mohammed in the Columbus, and everyone else who looked after us so well, and made our stay so enjoyable. Can’t wait to come back to our second home, again soon. Thank you all!

I’m so glad I chose Sharm Smile service for a trip from sharm el sheikh to Saint Catherine Monastery & Dahab with my family. Even though we didn’t have a tour guide since it turned to be private trip because cancelled/rescheduled their trip, the trip was fabulous. Having no tour guide didn’t bother me as I already know the history of the place and explained everything to my family which enjoyed a lot. Thanks to our driver Mohamed and thank you so much Mr Nabil for your follow up with me to make sure everything is ok. A s an Egyptian I know that you may have experienced some issues with tourism agencies but Sharm Smile is on different level as they are so professional and honest and they really care a lot.

We visited St Catherine Monastery with a private car, driver and Nabil as our guide. Passage through the many checkpoints was a breeze and the 3h roadtrip was cut up in very managable chunks by stopping for a roadside coffee on the way up and lunch and a mini citytrip to Dahab on the way back. Nabil is more than a guide, everywhere he goes, monastery or city, one out of three locals walks up to shake hands and greet him. He's very modest on the subject, but you can really feel he knows the land and his way around. He also has a wide general knwoledge about Egypt, religion and history in general, which makes for great conversations on the long and windy roads between the visits! Communication beforehand and for pickup was very smooth through WhatsApp. Very recommended!

Lead by guide, Nabil, with our careful driver Abrahaim, this was a fantastic tour of St Catherine’s Monastery and Dahab. Nabil is very knowledgeable about the Sinai Peninsula, its history and its people; along with the monastery, its history and the artifacts in the transfiguration church, the library and the icon gallery. He is also patient, respectful and gives you enough time to view things on your own and help you take pictures, when allowed. You’ll also have a great lunch at Ali Baba in Dahab.

We had the wonderful opportunity to use the services of Sharm Smile tour services when we visited Sharm el sheikh in August. Due to illness I had to originally cancel and reschedule but Nabil was ultra helpful and made rebooking easier. The Bedouin desert tour was not only unique and beautiful but with the guide's extensive knowledge a pleasurable learning experience. The history of the Bedouins, their culture, traditions and way of life. The camels were very well looked after and the relationship between Bedouin and camel of respect and love. The stargazer portion was short but stunning. Here also, the Bedouin host was deeply knowledgeable about the stars and constellations. I was there with six members of my family and we all came away with a most memorable experience. I will not forget it and recommend Nabil and his wonderful company to everyone. Thank you Nabil!

Good experience overall . Pickup was on time with a clean air con minibus. Safari enclosure was very safe and secure with police presence (like most tourist attractions in Sharm) and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The quad bike was a bit worse for wear and looked abused by previous riders , and icing on the cake was our camel handler was a child around the age of 10 , which for a westerner was… unexpected. Great kid. The drop off back to hotel was very quick also.

We had a fantastic day today doing the sightseeing tour in Sharm with Mohammed as our guide. We were promptly picked up at our hotel by the driver in a lovely vehicle and taken to the old market, where Mohammed gave us a overview of the city and some interesting facts. We had some time to wander around before going on the rest of the tour. We learned so much and we're able to see things we wouldn't have known if we had chosen to wander around the city by ourselves. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We enjoyed a fabulous trip as a family on the Sharm Smile Tour. We were picked up from our hotel and had WhatsApp communication all the way to let us know where the driver was. Took us straight to the boat where we saw all kinds of fish and amazing coral. The kids were even asked to drive the boat which they loved. Really good value for money and the crew were so helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommended 5⭐

Kite Addicts Sharm Kitesurfing Windsurfing Wakeboarding School Windsurfing Wakeboarding School

Water sports equipment rental service
Tours
Kite Addicts Sharm Kitesurfing Windsurfing Wakeboarding School is a fantastic destination for both beginners and experienced kite surfers. Nestled in the serene Nabq beach, this school offers a spacious beginner area with shallow waters, perfect for learning the ropes without feeling overwhelmed. The environment is relaxed, with only a handful of people on the water at any time, allowing for personalized attention from instructors.
Here I had my first experience with kitesurfing and I am very happy with how it went. The beach on which the course takes place is ideal for beginners, with shallow water for hundreds of meters which greatly facilitates beginners who are approaching this sport for the first time. The instructors are prepared and available, but above all capable of providing targeted advice and adapting the equipment to specific needs and wind conditions, placing customers in ideal conditions, teaching gradually in order to guarantee safety. A definitely satisfying experience and recommended to anyone. I'll be back to see these amazing people!

Hi guys, I found Kiteadditcs online and the prices seemed much more affordable and reasonable compared to many others. After I arrived to Nabq beach Even though there were other schools offered me lower prices and said negative things about kite addict (which I found so unethical, do not believe those type of schools who try to grab you into their schools one of a sudden without you even know) I still took all my training in Kiteaddicts and never regretted. At the beginning I contacted Mr.Tamer who was the owner of the school. I had 3 days and total 10 hours training with Ahmet (my muallim) he was so nice , helpful and patient with me all the time. His English was also clear enough and sufficient to teach. I could not ride on my left direction, I was demotivated and he supported me mentally and finally when I could do it I saw him that he got as happy as I was which touched my heart. So I want to specially thank to him for all efforts he made for me to learn this amazing and cool sport. Now I am capable of going on both directions, I loved the coffee that Ahmed made for me every day during my breaks. I will miss that coffee omg! Thank you team , hope to see you again insAllah 🙏

Highly recommend! The spot is perfect for beginners+ (to do the course OR practice after it). Sandy Beach, flat water, big area, cross shore wind. I took several hours of learning (after my course done elsewhere). Tamer promised I will surf upwind by the end of my stay. And the instructor Ahmed delivered:) he was very attentive gave a lot of feedback and fine tuned my moves. As I spoke with several instructors in process of my beginning, I can say these guys are professional and care for safety, success and having a good time! Everyone on kite addict team are super professional and kind. They have various of equipment, and all of it is maintained in excellent shape! It's comfortable to sit and chill before and after the kitesurf session.

Had great experience with this kitesurfsing school, especially with instructor Tamir. I had a year-long history of attempts to kite in Netherland with my husband, who is proffesional kitesurfer, but it didn't work out. So I came to school with absolute fear to kite and mindset that I wouldn't able to make it. But only in 3 hours (2 sessions due to the wind conditions) I was able to kite! That's amazing!!! Tamir patiently and with simple language and comprehensive examples gave me an understanding of what need to be done. Step by step I was aquiring feeling of the confidence and the skills for independent kiting under supervision of the trainer in the perfect safe controlled environment 👌 I overcome my fear of kite and began kiting!! I wish I started here from the beginning it would eliminate a lot of hassle and stress! So, there is my sincere recommendation to start in this place if you want to actually start kiting, they have all the techniques and trics for beginners and carefully guide you in this journey ❤️ As addition, they have very client oriented service, where you can easily resolve any occurring issue as not fully used time or forgotten stuff. They send us our wetsuit in very short notice as we had flight next day 👌 P.S. They have excellent prices for a quiality provided! also have lovely wake-boarding,you can rent out equipment as independant kiters and they organise rescue missions if need be! So, dear reader, have a nice experience here, It absolutely worth it:)

Tamer is a superb teacher and most importantly, a fantastic coach— he takes a personal interest in helping you succeed. I was frustrated with another kite surfing school instruction for beginner kite surfing course and met Tamer who showed me what I needed to know to get over my being stuck with the lack of care from the other school. He immediately took me under his wing and while we fine tuned most of the kite control and there was not enough wind to get up on the board, so instead, he took his speed boat out with a kite surfing board and got me to simulate getting up— what a great innovative idea! Within minutes he got me wakeboarding!!— what a thrilling experience. I am now back on track with my kite surfing journey and ready for the next level. Amazing and encouraging instructor and runs a great water sports school at Kite Addicts which is set in an ideal coral lagoon in Nabq Bay with safe knee to waist deep water and soft sand. I’ve been coming back regularly for the past 2 years. Just an amazing experience and you need to meet Tamer if you’re looking to learn.

I’ve had lessons 5 years before in the Netherlands, never finished the full course. Explained my situation and got a very quick and honest response. Did a refresher course of 3h and the next day I was able to kite solo and got an IKO license. Amazing experience. Very quick response, clear communication. Very friendly people, good lessons and good service. Would definitely recommend!

We rode to the station for a week. Used kite storage. The beginner kite area is a square of shallow water between the piers 300 meters by 300 meters. Usually occupied by students with instructors up to 5 pairs and 2-3 more beginner kiters. Further, deep water begins almost 600 meters to the reef. It's nice that there are not many people on the water - there have never been more than 10-12 people. The wind blows from early morning until 12-13. It's great that the station is open from 7-30 am! The station has a good storage room, shower, toilet, desalination of equipment, a good seating area and chillout. You can wash and dry your kite in a green meadow on the last day before departure. There is no set of attachments for different kites on the compressor rod, as is usually customary, but just a piece of rubber hose that is put on the rod. Therefore, the pumping of the kite takes a long time, it is difficult to pump up to normal pressure without the necessary skill. There is no WIFI, tea or just drinking water at the station, which is also a regular service. The beach boys helping to land and raise the kite are loaded. Sometimes you have to stand with the kite for 1-2 minutes near the shore until you are noticed and planted. In general, we rode great! Thanks!

Good place to start kiteboarding for beginners, wide beach, shallow water. Tamer is pleasant and friendly instructor, he cares a lot for safety and he teach how to act in different situation what can be with you in future, not only to stand up on the board. No “tension” and everything will be ok

Dolphina offers a good show that may not be entirely unique, but still enjoyable. The dolphin experience is described as amazing and an opportunity to fulfill a childhood dream. Visitors get to swim with the well-trained and respected dolphins, creating an awe-inspiring experience. However, there are concerns about high prices for photos and some areas being dirty. Despite this, it's considered a great day out with fantastic experiences for both children and adults alike.
Very good value for money. Clean seats to sit on. Good quality dolphin show and tricks. Went to sea world in Abu Dhabi last year and this for the money was a great quality show
Jay P — Google review
It was good show, had one seal and six dolphins. Its clearly visible that some dolphins are better trained but every one of them participate in show. It was not expensive even though as foreigner you pay more than twice of what locals pay but its still ok. As it was about two times cheaper to do it ourselves from what our tour operator priced such excursion.
Marius B — Google review
I took my family here while on holiday, was a great show. Don’t need tickets in advance and no need to over pay to get them from taxi drivers or hotels. There’s also a parrot, flamingos, turtles, sea lions and a monkey to have a picture with. Show is good. One of the trainers is kind of the star of the show and puts the others to shame with his awesome energy. While the pool is a bit small the animals seem well cared for. Sit in the shade as the show is long and outdoors. Music is far louder than it needs to be. Prices for refreshments are reasonable. Well worth the visit.

A visit with children is a must. The dolphins are very well-trained and the show is engaging. The duration is appropriate, and the cost is reasonable.

Loved the dolphins and workers who works in there.. We made reservation day before and when we arrived, we got informed that they don't have any info about online reservations that day.. so they can just squeeze us in next free slot, what is more then hour after.. 3 kids ..1 hour.. ok, things happen, but I would think that worker in front would still need to be more apologetic about this situation, and maybe offer even some free photo at the end or something.. We had 30min swimming with Dolphins and I loved every second of it.. Take your own towels with you! We forgot.. :) Then offcourse picture and video selling.. but it was not so bad.. 1picture to put on your phone 7$ and full video 47$.. if you want printed picture.. 11$..

Very nice place. I hope that dolphins are happy. The show was very nice, sometimes a little bit busy and I have problém to see everything. I recommend. I was there with travel agency.

an activity that leaves you speechless, regardless of age! I recommend it with all confidence. The only disappointment is the price of the pictures, a steal! you can't ask for 100 euros for a few pictures and a video! But that's the policy in Egypt, everything is overpriced. I recommend you go, regardless of age! ♥️✌️

A small and quiet shopping area opposite the Aurora Oriental hotel. The German Kitchen does great coffee and delicious cakes, apfel strudel is a favourite. There are shoe shops, hairdressers, gift shops, a chocolate shop and my retro supermarket across the road by the Aurora and lots of small shops in La Strada itself. There's a Steak House restaurant and the Hard Rock Cafe is just across the road.

Tiran Island

Mentioned on

Island
Nature & Parks
Tiran Island is an uninhabited military island spanning 31 square miles, located in a narrow strait surrounded by coral reefs and dive sites. The island forms part of Ras Mohammed National Park, covering an area of 80 square kilometers. Although daily boat trips from Sharm-El Sheikh are available, the island remains deserted and inspires solitude. Snorkeling spots abound around the island and most tours cover these areas.
Tiran Island: A Jewel in the Red Sea Crown Nestled at the entrance of the Strait of Tiran, where the azure waters of the Red Sea meet the Gulf of Aqaba, lies the enchanting Tiran Island. This sun-kissed gem, once administered by Egypt and now under Saudi Arabian sovereignty, beckons travelers with promises of adventure, marine wonders, and historical intrigue. A Maritime Crossroads Tiran Island’s strategic significance transcends its modest size—an area of approximately 80 square kilometers. It forms the narrowest section of the Strait of Tiran, a vital sea passage connecting the bustling port of Aqaba in Jordan to the vibrant city of Eilat in Israel. Here, ancient trade routes converged, and modern vessels sail, weaving a tapestry of commerce and culture. A Diver’s Paradise For scuba enthusiasts, Tiran Island is a sanctuary. Beneath its crystalline surface lies a kaleidoscope of marine life—vibrant corals, elusive seahorses, and schools of tropical fish. Dive into the embrace of the Red Sea, and you’ll encounter the Jackson Reef, the Woodhouse Reef, and the Thomas Reef—each a living canvas of color and movement. The currents dance, revealing shipwrecks and secrets from centuries past. The Ghosts of History Tiran Island’s past echoes through time. During the Suez Crisis, it briefly fell into Israeli hands, and from 1967 to 1982, it remained under Israeli control after the Six-Day War. The island’s sands have absorbed the footsteps of warriors, traders, and pilgrims—a silent witness to the ebb and flow of empires. A Playground for Water Adventurers Whether you’re snorkeling, windsurfing, or sailing, Tiran Island invites you to explore its shores. Glide over coral gardens, where parrotfish dart and angelfish pirouette. Feel the wind in your hair as you windsurf across the turquoise expanse. And when the sun dips below the horizon, gather around a beachside fire, sharing tales of the day’s exploits. Chisholm Point: Where Land Meets Sea At Chisholm Point, the island’s rocky cape, you’ll witness the union of earth and water. Here, the waves caress ancient stones, and seabirds wheel overhead. As the sun paints the sky in hues of gold and crimson, you’ll feel the pulse of nature—the heartbeat of Tiran Island. A Journey Through Sovereignty Tiran Island’s fate has been debated, its borders redrawn. In 2017, Egypt officially ceded sovereignty to Saudi Arabia, marking a new chapter in its storied history. Yet, as travelers step ashore, they sense that this island belongs to more than nations—it belongs to the tides, the winds, and the dreams of those who seek its shores. Practical Details Access: Boat excursions from Sharm El Sheikh offer a gateway to Tiran Island. Activities: Snorkel, dive, or simply bask in the sun. Remember: Respect the delicate ecosystem; leave only footprints. As the sun sets over Tiran Island, casting shadows on its ancient rocks, you’ll feel the pull of the sea—a timeless call to explore, to connect, and to cherish this jewel in the Red Sea’s crown. May the waves carry your wanderlust, and may Tiran Island forever enchant. 🌞🤿

I had a wonderful stay at DoubleTree Sharm El Sheikh. The service was truly exceptional, especially in the restaurants. The staff were always friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made every meal enjoyable. A special thanks to Chef Hany (Head Chef) and Chef Hany (Sous Chef) for their outstanding hospitality and professionalism. Both went above and beyond to make sure guests had a fantastic dining experience with delicious, well-prepared dishes. Their passion and care really stand out. Highly recommended hotel – not only for the beautiful setting, but also for the amazing team that makes you feel at home. I will definitely come back!

We stayed at this hotel for four nights in a family room, which actually consisted of two separate rooms, each with its own bathroom, offering both comfort and privacy while letting us stay together under the same roof. The spaces were great, and there were plenty of activities to enjoy. The only thing that could have been better was the room cleaning upon arrival — we had to wait an extra hour past the expected check-in time. The hotel has everything you need and more. The restaurant service was excellent — great variety (never repetitive) and really tasty food! We also appreciated that the hotel provides its own shuttle service. The staff were always friendly. Special thanks to Katty and Ahmed, from the reception, for making sure we enjoyed our stay as much as possible. If we ever come back to Sharm, we’ll definitely consider this hotel again!

This hotel was absolutely amazing. And here are my reasons why: - I have never experienced so friendly staff before. - The hygiene was superb and you could see how much effort they put for keeping the quality so high. - The kids pool was extremely big with great slides and also a "beach" that was superb for the kids to play in. - The hotel is seperated in two sections, a north and south area where they have their own bus (super friendly driver) that regularly takes you around the hotel. - The beach area was superb with amazing water for snorkeling. - Great location where SOHO square is just a 5 minutes walk from the hotel. I can highly recommend this great hotel ✨🏆

I had a wonderful stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Sharm El Sheikh. The atmosphere was relaxing, the staff were friendly, and the service was excellent. I especially want to thank Chef Abd Elamid Sayed, who made my experience truly special. He was incredibly helpful, generous, and attentive, always ensuring that every meal was perfect and that guests felt well taken care of. His kindness and professionalism left a great impression, and the food he prepared was absolutely delicious. He took good care of my niece by bringing her baby food when she needed it. I truly appreciate his effort and hospitality, he represents the heart of what makes this hotel so welcoming. I’ll definitely come back again!

My stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Sharm El Sheikh was truly wonderful from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles. The staff at the restaurants were attentive and always went out of their way to make sure guests were happy. I had a ground-floor room which was super convenient and opened right out to the pool-perfect for morning swims. The room was clean, comfortable and well kept. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping everything spotless, and the bed was incredibly cozy . The buffet offered a wide variety of options every day. There was a lot of  activities and entertainment — from snorkeling and pingpong, tennis etc to the evening shows, there was always something fun to do. The animation team deserves a special mention for their energy and friendliness! Most of all, the staff made my stay memorable. Everyone, from reception to the bar and housekeeping, was polite, professional, and genuinely kind. They truly make you feel like a valued guest. In short, DoubleTree by Hilton Sharm El Sheikh is the perfect mix of comfort, service, and relaxation. Whether you’re traveling as a couple, family, or solo, it’s an excellent choice for a stress-free and enjoyable Red Sea getaway. I can’t wait to return!

There is BEAUTIFUL coral reef just at the beach of the Double tree. And I suppose those who come to Sharm mostly come here in the sake of reef (as there plenty other nice beaches around the world)) so we supposed to spent most days at the beach, snorkling, sunbathing. But there was not a pleasant surprise: to get a sunchair you have to take it at 7am ) because there are too many people at the hotel and not enough space and equipment at the beach. So those who really want, have to wake up earlier than the other. If you want just eat and spend time at the swimming pool, probably you'll kike this hotel. Animation team is also unbelievably bad 👎🏻 they don't care at all. They just do smth as a formality. all evening entertainments look rather boring (even when live duet were singing latina music, all the public were just sitting at the chairs 🤷🏻‍♀️) of course that's the "problem" of public too, but good animation team can make "festival" out of any event )) especially when dealing with people who are ralaxed on vacation. The territory of the hotel is beautifull. The room cleaning is perfect 👌🏻the food is good. The personnel is friendly and helpfull. One little thing about the restaurant of the mountain side: some people like to seat outside, but there is just one door open, so you have to make a big sircle to bring your food and drinks outside, it's very inconvenient. Though there are at least 2 or 3 more doors, which lead from restaurant to the "terrace" and those doors could shorten the way significantly) but those doors were locked all the time for some unknown reason.

We had started in a room which wasn’t suitable for us, so had to get reception to change our rooms closer to the hotel as we were 2 girls on holiday ourselves! And bahii had us a change of rooms the next day, we felt it was a lot better and we weren’t in the ground floor! All the staff were fantastic and helpful especially bahii, hany, hassan (snack pool bar) and khalisd from the Olympic bar! They went above and beyond to make sure that we felt safe and had a good time! We had great time with the entertainment team too asma is absolutely fantastic x thank you for a great 1st time for me in Egypt and my friends 3rd time we will definitely be back. Xx
Donna T — Google review
The rooms are okay but nothing special. The whole hotel feels very dated and the “entertainment” in the evenings is tacky. The food provided in the buffet restaurant is awful, especially the breakfast which is disgusting. There are two other restaurants onsite but you need to pay for these, however they were both very nice compared to the buffet. On top of this, when you checkout they let you keep the all inclusive wrist bands however they make you pay for everything. All of a sudden the lunch in the buffet cost £25, and this is for food I wouldn’t pay anymore than £2 for. The service was good in the restaurants and bars, with the captain in the beachside buffet being exceptional. Overall I would not want to come to this hotel again.

This place is amazing it has everything you could want from live shows to dancing water show there is also ice skating and bowling. The shop owner are very polite and do not rip you off the food is very good and not expensive. One place to definitely check out. Is the ice bar which is really good €10 to get in which includes your first drink?. There are lots of statues around the area for you to take your photos with or to take photos of and there's also lots of light. Tunnels to take photos in and lots of little flowers to take trailers off and there is the water show which lights up to the music. There is little mini mall in there as well which is quite good. The security in there as well is very good. You get search before you even get into the Soho which I thought was amazing. Plenty of toilets, places to drink and eat or just take a seat

Amazing place well worth the visit. Owners of the shops are very friendly. We went into one that sold herbal teas and spices fragrances. They made us a cup of tea. There was no pressure to go into shops very chilled vibe. We went into the ice bar, -9 bar with drink included, well worth the experience. The only down point was when we went to the Indian restaurant. Was kind of just left at a table. We decided to go to another restaurant outside the ice bar food, was very good reasonably priced and staff very friendly helpful.

A bit over-rated as a shopping experience, but great atmosphere if you're looking to dine out. Kids will enjoy the illuminations and bronze statues. Quiet when we arrived at opening, but very very busy 2 hours later.

Just remove the arabsat disaster from nabq bay and it will be fine
Hisham N — Google review
It could be a wonderful place for vacation, but lack of rule of law and salvage outlaw privatization of the same sea and beaches are transforming Nabq from a sea paradise, in a Hell on Earth. It’s time that Egypt Government intervenes to turn back the rule of law: Any access to the sea must return free for everybody, any hotel has to let entrance to the public to a part of the beach upon payment, the so called Coast Rd as identified in Google Map, where actually access follow different rules at any Hotel terrain, must become Public for transit. Only this way Nabq Bay will stop being a Hell on earth, please Egypt’s Government here people is privatizing the same sea, we appreciate their work, but when we walk 56 closed stores because obviously if there is no public transit, the guests of a single hotel can’t guarantee enough purchasing power to keep shops opened, something must be done by Government not by the singles owners!

Hollywood Sharm El Sheik is a popular tourist destination located near Naama Bay in Sharm El Sheikh. The complex features a sprawling area with shopping pavilions, restaurants, and cafes. Visitors can enjoy evening performances and singing fountain shows on the main stage after 21:00 during holidays. The highlight of the complex is the Jurassic theme park with lifelike dinosaur sculptures, as well as figures and sculptures of various cartoon and film characters.
It’s a great hotel in Sharm el-Sheikh nice building nice architecture wonderful The place itself is impressive... lots of statues, dinosaurs, predator, alien, ghost rider, Jack Sparrow... great architecture... a lot of money was invested in this place!
Hady E — Google review
Don’t bother going here, the hotel is a disaster. Reception is barely helpful, most of them don’t speak much English so it’s very hard to communicate, also every corner of the hotel is dirty. Some staff are nice, but most don’t even help you. The food is another level of gross, no fruits, except melon for dinner, the selection is limited and most of the food is not even good. The towels that they give you to bring near the pool or to the beach aren’t cleaned at all, they just dry them and give it to the next person, sometimes they’re still wet. They provide a bus to the beach but people fight over seats everyday and if there’s no seats left you’ll just be stranded at the hotel or at the beach, also the drive to the beach is like 25min. The only good thing is that the staff bring water to your room every day.
Voveryte G — Google review
Avoid this hotel at all costs. The place is completely mismanaged and filthy from top to bottom. The reception staff barely speak English, so getting help or information is a frustrating experience. Cleanliness is clearly not a priority—common areas are dirty, and the rooms aren't much better. Some of the staff try to be helpful, but most are indifferent or just flat-out ignore you. The food is by far the worst part. Every meal is repetitive and unappetizing. No variety, and they barely serve any fresh fruit—just some old melon once a day. If you're expecting anything remotely decent, prepare to be disappointed. The so-called pool/beach towels are reused without being properly washed—some are still damp when handed to you. They have a shuttle to the beach, but it's chaotic. People push and shove for seats, and if you miss it, you're stuck waiting with no plan B. The ride itself takes around 25 minutes, so it's not exactly convenient. Only upside? They do leave bottled water in your room daily—but that’s about the only thing they get right. Wait time: 1 hour+

The worst hotel I have ever stayed-in in Sharm El-Shiekh. The receptionists are unprofessional and very chaotic. The main course in food is very disgusting, the only food that u may say is good and edible are the salads. Drinks are served in a small plastic cups whether soft or hard, and for hard drinks they only have the worst kind of bottles. The rooms are good but I had to keep calling them and wait for more than an hour to get a simple stuff get fixed in there so I can leave my room. It was a very awful experience that made me won’t go there again nor recommend the place to anyone as you can get a much better hotel for the same price or even less. I got scammed as their advertisement on social media were like when they place was on its peak. The photos and videos I reviewed were not anything like this place right now. The place looks aged, kind of broke and deserted!!!

it’s one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in.👎🏻👎🏻 I came from Australia to visit Egypt with my husband. He lives in Egypt, and he took me to Sharm El Sheikh for our honeymoon. He booked this hotel using his Egyptian passport instead of my Australian one, and unfortunately, the treatment was very unpleasant because of that. The food was terrible. The bathroom smelled awful. There was clear discrimination between Egyptians and foreigners — Egyptians are treated badly, but if you use a foreign passport, they treat you nicely. The staff were rude and unprofessional. There was no organization at all. Even though it was our honeymoon, they gave us a double room instead of a proper honeymoon setup. There was no one available at the reception most of the time — only room service, and they couldn’t even speak English. Honestly, it’s one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in.

This is honestly one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in — not only in Egypt but probably in the entire world. The hotel is extremely dirty and poorly maintained. The staff are unprofessional, disrespectful, and never available when you need them. No one answers the phone no matter how many times you call. The room was filthy — the bed sheets were stained, the floor was dusty and sticky, and the bathroom was disgusting. The toilet and shower were dirty, and the smell was unbearable. It’s clear that the place hasn’t been properly cleaned or managed for a long time. I truly regret booking this hotel. Everything about it was disappointing — the service, cleanliness, and overall experience. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Total waste of money and peace of mind. “If you care about hygiene or basic respect, avoid this hotel at all costs.”

The place itself is impressive... lots of statues, dinosaurs, predator, alien, ghost rider, Jack Sparrow... great architecture... a lot of money was invested in this place! we've been there on a Sunday and it was closed but we were able to visit it without paying anything... only 4 tourists and some stuff cleaning... I don't know if this is the case in general or we just were lucky.. great to take some pictures and

I don’t know what to make of this place really… Went here for a look and there was no one there other than a security man and a few other workers. It seems really cool, and I’m still confused as to what exactly it is because there was lots of building going on and the hotel was closed but there were lots of seats and music playing and a big stage. The interior is amazing and would definitely be a great place for kids as there are lots of statues and movie related things around. The gold bridge is amazing and there’s really cool marble in the lobby.

Car racing venue
Sights & Landmarks
Ghibli Raceway in Sharm El Sheikh offers an exhilarating go-karting experience with a welcoming staff prioritizing safety. The track layout provides a mix of straights and challenging turns, set against the stunning backdrop of the Sinai desert and the Red Sea. In addition to day visits, they host corporate events, have a paintball arena, children's karting schools, and professional racing events.
Nice people, quick service and good to Kart 👍🏽. Defo will recommend

While on holiday in Sharm, a group of three of us decided to visit Ghibli Raceway for a karting session. Booking in was fairly straightforward, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the process. However, the experience on track was a letdown. The overalls provided were far too small for me – they barely reached halfway down my legs and forced me into a hunched position. The karts themselves were the biggest disappointment. I regularly seek out karting tracks when travelling, and unfortunately, these were easily the slowest karts I’ve ever driven. While the track layout itself seemed like it could offer a fun and challenging drive, the lack of speed completely took the edge off the experience. Another issue was the kart design: the seats were fixed and there was no visible way to adjust the pedals, meaning my knees were practically resting on the steering wheel – very uncomfortable and awkward to drive. While waiting for our session, I noticed how slow the karts looked compared to what I’m used to. I downloaded a GPS speed app to check during my drive, and the top speed I recorded was just 19 km/h, which is extremely slow for any karting experience. Would I return? Honestly, no – not unless they upgrade their fleet with faster, better-designed karts. Pricing-wise, it was slightly more expensive than karting at Thruxton in the UK, where you get high-performance karts capable of reaching 60mph on a much larger, more technical circuit. In comparison, Ghibli Raceway just doesn’t offer good value for money. In short: • Staff – Friendly • Location – Good • Track – Decent layout • Karts – Rubbish With some investment into better karts, this place could be great. As it stands, it’s a missed opportunity.

Had fun but Needs a lot of work in all areas. Karts, race suits and helmets have seen better days

Wonderful experience. First time coming to this go kart and had the best time. The kart was powerful and the track was huge perfect for fast speed. Good price for this experience. Safety was well taken of and the team was very friendly to new welcomers. I hope to come again.

Professional staff and reasonable prices dor Egyptians and residents. The track is big however very bumpy and needs renovation. The cars are ok

Was good but it's overpriced same race time in England would be 34% cheaper

Ghibli Raceway is a fantastic go-karting experience. The service is excellent, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They ensure that every racer feels safe and comfortable before hitting the track. The go-karts are in great condition, providing a thrilling and smooth ride. Safety is a top priority, with well-maintained equipment and clear instructions. The price is excellent compared to other go-karting tracks, making it a great value for the experience. Overall, it's an exhilarating experience with top-notch service and staff.😁😁

Sightseeing tour agency

Sharm Wonders is a reputable travel agency operating day trips, tours, and excursions to Sharm El Sheikh from the city. With over 300 years of experience in the tourism industry, they know how to make your vacation dream come true.
5 Star is not enough I wish I could leave more! From the first interaction to the last. They met up with us in person the night before and gave us all details required for the trip a head. We was very lucky that we was the only people on the tour also so we had our own private tour. The first driver from our resort to the airport was very welcoming and made us feel comfortable and welcome. We was then welcomed at the airport by another welcoming and friendly man who pointed us in the right direction and gave us more details. When we landed Abdula(I think I’ve got this right sorry if not) was there to greet us and escort us to his car where he welcomed us and had a lovely chat with us and made us feel welcome and comfortable. (As you can imagine being in a country far from home getting into a strangers car could seem very overwhelming and can make you cautious). We then picked up our tour guide Ahmed up who was the best tour guide we’ve ever had. Ahmed had so much knowledge and also made us feel at ease. Ahmed took photos of us and he couldn’t stress enough for us to take our time and take it all in so we wasn’t rushed. He gave us all the best advice to avoid local scammers also which was really helpful as we might’ve fell into the trap. We visited the pyramids, Egyptian museum and we even visited a local art gallery which we didn’t know about which was really interesting to show us how they make local paper and art work through plants, this was so interesting and we even purchased some art work! We stopped off for lunch where once again we wasn’t rushed and Ahmed and Abdula told us to take our time which is so kind as we’ve been on tours before where it feels rushed. During all the tour Ahmed even gave us time to explore our selves and told us not to rush to take everything in and enjoy it. We finished the tour early which to then we was asked if we would like to visit anywhere else in Cairo and they would take us free of charge. This just made the whole experience the perfect day as this is them going really above and beyond. When we got back to Sharm El Sheikh our taxi driver couldn’t have been more welcoming and was asking about our day which was really nice. Just when we thought the experience and service couldn’t get any better the owner of Sharm Wonders even phoned us to see how our day was and if we enjoyed it, honestly little details like that makes the experience perfect and 10/10. Thank you so much to all the drivers, Ahmed, Abdula and Sharm Wonders for making this a perfect day.

Amazing customer service, Mahmood replies immediately to WhatsApp messages. He built an itinerary for us according which days would be less busy and would have better weather. He was very honest and met us in advance to explain everything. We did the private day trip to Cairo by flight with Ahmed as our guide. He was very friendly, everything was very organised and Ahmed allowed us to make some changes to our day programme according to what we wanted to see. We also did the day trip to Petra which although was a lot of travelling it was totally worth it. No hiccups on either trip and very smoothly operated. All the tour guides were very friendly and kind. Would 100% recommend this tour company for excursions from Sharm.

A greeting to all crew of "Dream 1 - Ras Mohamed excursion", to Sam and Peter. If it's possible to give more stars, they deserve them!

Unforgettable experience in the desert We enjoyed one of the best afternoon/evenings of the holiday. We had such an amazing time Quad biking through the desert of Sharm El Sheikh into the sunset. We even stopped off at Echo Mountain on our way to the evening ascertainment! Both the food and entertainment were really good and a great way to experience the culture. We also had a brief ride on a camel, although in the dark so not brilliant for seeing the surroundings. The evening was finished with a spot of star gazing before Quad biking back. Such a fun time had by all. Definitely will use Sharm Wonders again

Nothing too much trouble to make sure you have a great day out .always on time. This time travelled with young Grandchildren, they were really well looked after, like we all were. If I could give this company 10 stars, I would. No hesitation in recommending this company. Also used them for transfers, no problems at all, fantastic

Sharm El-sheikh is one of the best distinctions particulate as the peninsula of thought Sinai of Egypt. Sharm el-Sheikh to Cairo by plane - Private Tour. I booked my trip with Sharm Wonders after reading other online reviews, and can say that I was thoroughly impressed by the company, their communications and planning for this trip. I would recommend the private tour rather than the full group one (our tour had only 9 people) as this makes it much more intimate and allows you to maximize your time and meet a small group of others). I received WhatsApp messages with all pick-up locations and collection times in advance, and a clear itinerary of the day's agenda. We were met by reps at hotel pick-up, Cairo Airport, and Sharm airport on the way home. Ahmed (our guide in Cairo) was very knowledgeable and friendly and we really enjoyed having him take us around the city to all the key landmarks and share his experiences and facts. Having done this for many years, he knew when to visit certain places to avoid the crowds and he was not wrong. The trip went flawlessly. I would 100% recommend using Sharm Wonders for this trip to Cairo, and indeed for any others whilst visiting Sharm el-Sheikh.

We had a great experience using SharmWonders. They organized a private transfer from/to the airport for us and a private tour of Cairo with travel via airplane. Sam did a great job organizing the day in Cairo and driving us around - we enjoyed the Pyramids, Egyptian museum and the river Nile. It was also interesting to visit the oil and papyrus shops. Having a private guide was also a great experience, we got a great insight and all our questions answered and as a bonus had a great photographer during the journey :) Thank you guys for the brilliant job you do! We would highly recommend to use SharmWonders to anyone 👍🏻

(Translated by Google) I really liked the store with reasonable prices and a good range of products, everything you need is there. The owner of the store, Adam, is very polite and speaks good Russian and English. He always gives gifts if you buy something. And he doesn’t skimp on discounts. I would say even more compared to other sellers, he is the most honest. The exchange rate of the ruble, dollar and euro is calculated honestly without any markup. I visited him every evening. I have never seen such honest and non-intrusive sellers as Adam in my 10 days of vacation. I'll definitely go back there!
