Ras Mohamed Natural Reserve in Egypt is an absolutely fantastic place, filled with an incredible and powerful energy. We were lucky enough to spend the night there in a tent, just a few steps from the sea — truly one of the most beautiful and unforgettable experiences I’ve ever had. Falling asleep under a breathtaking starry sky and waking up already surrounded by the wonders of a pristine natural reserve is something magical. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone: it offers deep emotions, a true connection with nature, and memories that will stay with you forever.

Simply serenity. Great calm warm blue waters. Nice servers but not much to offer in this secluded spot. Not easy to get to. Bumpy road then a boat ride then another bumpy ride.

Starting the hike under a breathtaking blanket of stars, the peaceful silence of the desert night feels almost sacred. The Bedouin guides were exceptional—kind, knowledgeable, and attentive to everyone’s needs. Along the way, the small stops to enjoy tea or coffee at the Bedouin huts made the trek even more memorable, adding warmth and local charm to the experience. Reaching the summit just before sunrise was beyond words. Watching the first light break over the vast, rugged mountains was not only stunning but deeply moving—a moment of pure awe and gratitude. On the way back, visiting St. Catherine’s Monastery added another layer of wonder to the trip. The history, the Burning Bush, and the quiet reverence of the monastery made it clear why this area is such a spiritual landmark. I’m so grateful to have been healthy and strong enough to complete this journey. It’s not just a hike—it’s an unforgettable adventure that leaves you with a sense of peace, accomplishment, and connection. If you’re considering it, don’t hesitate. Mount Sinai will leave you changed forever.

The world's oldest continuously inhabited Christian monastery tells the tale of the whole world, not only christians. The monastery was built by the Byzantine Emperor Justinian I, enclosing what is claimed to be the burning bush seen by Moses. Centuries later, the believed body of Saint Catherine of Alexandria, was taken to the monastery. Ages of history and religion, all in one place. This is a must!

A medieval castle nested in the mountains overlooking the bluest waters you will ever sea. A one of a kind relaxing experience. Quite, relaxing, comfortable, and super clean for a one day trip. Close to Newebai" Dahab and Sharm, the place is definitely worth the ride. The food is slow cooked and must be ordered in advance, but it is incredibly tasty. You need to book in advance, a bit pricy, but worth it.

Would spend there all day. An established place, but it keeps renovating all the time. The shark aquarium is so relaxing and exiting at the same time! The underwater observatory facility is a must. Note- a single ticket is good for a couple of days, so if you want to visit more than once (and you should) plan accordingly.

The reserve is well-maintained, clean, and organized, with food shops and equipment rental available. While the price is a bit high compared to free nearby spots, the underwater experience is spectacular- vibrant corals, colorful marine life, and plenty to see. The area is very accessible, and safety is taken seriously with lifeguards on duty. Showers and restrooms are available and well-kept. Most seating areas are shaded with white canopies, which helps, though it can still get extremely hot in July and August. Some downsides include ongoing renovations, which limit access to newer sections and make planning a snorkeling route a bit challenging. The designated swimming areas are small and enclosed, but beyond the bridge, there are vast open spaces where you can really explore and see a lot of beautiful marine life. Overall, it’s more comfortable and enjoyable to snorkel in a well-supervised, maintained area than in unofficial sites, and the beautiful coral and abundant sea creatures make it well worth a visit. * Pros: Clean and organized, lifeguards on duty, beautiful corals and marine life, showers and restrooms, accessible. * Cons: Entry fee is high compared to free alternatives, renovations limit some areas, enclosed swimming zones can feel small, it can get very hot in summer.

Absolutely loved it! The dolphins were so cute and the entrance was gorgeous! Defenitatly recommend if you are coming to Eilat. I would recommend to come early in the morning if you want to choose a good spot to spend the rest of the day. It gets crowded but there are still a lot of places under the trees to hide from the sun. The water was super clear and security was okay.

Beautiful desert park, 20 minutes drive from Eilat. Mainly car trails with sightseeing or trekking stops, historic sites, an artificial lake, a restaurant and activities for the kids. Accessible in extreme heat or pleasant weather alike. A lot of the park is wheelchair accessible.

Walking through the 1.2 km narrow Siq(Arabic of canyon) is like stepping back in time, surrounded by history and the impressive natural beauty of the rock formations. The walk through this magical corridor, as it snakes its way towards the hidden city, is one full of anticipation for the wonders ahead. I will recommend to take the walk instead of buggy as it’s truly a unique and unforgettable experience of visiting Petra. Every turn will make you excited if it’s the turn when treasury can be seen. It’s around 35/40 minutes while you go but may take longer time during return as the it’s bit steeper in some places. Take water bottles with you. And please please take a good guide because every spot, stone or curve has some significance and good guide can give you better information.

amazing world heritage site! Start early in the morning at 06:00 when the gate is opened. You avoid a crowded place at the most important sites and can enjoy them nearly alone. After that go for the less crowded hiking trails during the day when all the coaches and groups arrive around 09:00 to 10:00. Parking in front of the main gate is free. Walking from the main gate to the Treasury House takes you 30-40min. If have the Jordan Pass you have to grab an official ticket with qr-code at the main building. Avoid all the unofficial guide offerings on the road and in the city. If you need a guide, organize at the main gate. There are several (food) shops, toilets and two restaurants along the way. Please respect this place. Follow the instructions for paths etc. Many people ignore them and throw their waste away. Don‘t act like silly tourists or go home.

Amazing experience, from here you can see the surrounding lands and mountains that carry into neighbouring nations. The detail of the monastery is sensational and unique as upon arrival Celine Dion was playing out of the monastery from massive speakers. It’s a memory I’ll never forgot. There’s also a shop when you arrive, be prepared for a hike however as it is steep at times and you can’t ride there on golf cart like other sites. This is an amazing hike, it will take you around 30/45 minutes and it is steep along the way there’s plenty of vendors conveniently placed to offer you some water or other drinks. It’s 100% worth the journey though!

The Mizpe Ramon crater is the closest most of us will ever get to feel like we are exploring another planet. It's a surreal geologic experience. Taking a four wheel drive in late afternoon is a must do. If you are in Israel you need to do this crater. It's easy to get to by taking a train to Bersheeva and then a bus to the small town of Mizpe Ramon. We spent 2 nights in a hotel on the rim so had plenty of opportunity to photograph sunrise, sunset, and moonrise. The hotel had a grand all you can eat breakfast.

Kerak Castle is a must-visit historical site in Jordan. The fortress offers stunning views, underground tunnels, and Islamic architecture. A perfect stop for history lovers and anyone exploring Jordan’s heritage.

The Dead Sea is a fantastic place to visit. I am not generally a big fan of the beach, as my light skin tends to burn easily, but I think that if you are in this region a visit is worthy. The sea itself is extremely salty of course, but the said salt levels make the water buoyant so that one can float which is a lot of fun. Plus, the mineral rich water is good for cleansing the skin. The mud under the thin layer of sand under the water is world famous for its properties and is FREE here. All you have to do is dig a little. The only thing that stopped me from spending longer in the healing waters was that I got some of it in my eye. The healing water turned nasty and decided to burn so I had to rush to wash my eyes out. Learn from me and keep some water near the shore and your head out of the water. I covered myself in the mineral rich mud and treated my skin to a treatment that would cost a fortune in a New York or London spa and all was good again. The Dead Sea is a magical place and in my opinion is one of the many things that makes the area known as the Holy Land holy. I implore you all to visit before it vanishes into a salt flat and the world becomes a little less special.

I went up for the sunrise and going down at 7 (in June) was already super hot so idk how people do it during the day. Honestly I didn’t look at a lot of pictures what to expect up there. Drove up in complete darkness and got the light when I was 1/3 up the snake path and was amazed and it kept just getting more and more breathtaking. If you are hiking up keep in mind there is very little shade on the way up and up top they built a few shelters but most of it very open.

The canyon is only open to a adults. We did the sig route which took us 2 hours. Adventure Centre provides life jackets. You can buy water boots for 5 JD. Last entry is 3 pm. Amazingly fun activity. Best of Jordan

The best times to enjoy it are in the fall or spring, when the experience is much more pleasant. Floating on the water is unlike anything else, giving a deep sense of relaxation and even healing. On the first day you may feel some tingling on your skin, but by the second or third day it usually fades and becomes soothing. The views are breathtaking, making the visit unforgettable. There are different beaches to choose from- some more comfortable and well-kept than others. It’s recommended to go to a declared beach with lifeguards, even if it costs a bit more, especially for those who cannot swim. Safety is very important, as accidents can happen despite the natural buoyancy of the water. If you’re interested in the famous Dead Sea mud, it’s best to bring it with you, as it’s not always available directly on the beaches. Many areas are connected to the new promenade, which is modern, clean, and very pleasant for walking. For families, it’s possible to bring children, but it’s better for slightly older kids (around 8+) who can understand not to splash, avoid getting water in their eyes, and follow safety rules. Overall, the Dead Sea is a one-of-a-kind destination, offering both beauty and wellness- a must-see experience in Israel.

Better to visit when winter is about to begin.

A unique experience, a tranquil and good place to visit. We went to the Christmas service at the Catholic Church before seeing the place of Jesus' birth. We waited awhile, only to be rushed out after 2 seconds looking at it. I could not even get a photo before I was grabbed and physically moved - which was disappointing. I loved the architecture and history of the building most of all.

An amazing place to hike on a spring day. Beautiful architectures from biblical time with rich historical stories. A big wild life. A lot of caves in the area. Well described and maintained area. Difficulty level easy.I highly recommend to travel on foot to experience all the beauty, especially the bathing cave and the Church. It takes approx 3 to 4 hours to complete circular trail. The trails are very scenic.

This is the location where Jesus was praying that the cup might pass from Him but "Not my will, but yours" was His prayer He was betrayed here by Judas. I was blessed to obtain a key to a private area where I was able to sit among the olive trees and pray privately

This is an absolute must see venue. The expansive, well documented display cases with adequate room to comfortably view and study. This place multistory so plan on several hours of enjoyment and learning. We need to go back a second time! The mosaics are beautiful.
