Yardenit

Yardenit is a significant Christian pilgrimage site located on the banks of the River Jordan, believed to be the place where Jesus was baptized. The serene lakefront garden is home to peacocks and offers a tranquil setting for visitors. Even for non-baptismal tourists, it's a beautiful destination with picturesque scenery and a peaceful ambiance. Visitors can relax, enjoy the natural surroundings, and observe wildlife such as fish and ducks in the river.
Even if you don’t intend to get baptised, this place is a beautiful destination for a tourist. The scenery is beautiful and the ambience is just great. You can sit there and relax, enjoy the weather and birds chirping away, or even watch some fishes or ducks swimming across the Jordan river. You need to pay for toilet/shower facilities though. There’s even a relatively large souvenir shop if you want to buy some presents back. Parking is just right outside, making it easily accessible to visit
Nahshon — Google review
They are open 9a-3p every day currently and we went on Saturday and it was open. Wonderful to see the place of the baptism of Christ! They have an amazing restaurant with great burgers overlooking the river. Very classy and upscale place.
Christine S — Google review
The blanket they call a robe is just a sheet cut into pieces and costs $25. And they yell that you can't swim without it. Even though there's a beach a meter away. Go on in and swim wherever you want. And tourists that they bring by busses pays it. 25 per 48 person's, 1200 per bus. Just to enter to free Yardenit river. Interesting. I wonder if Christ would approve?
Andrey B — Google review
A peaceful and well-kept place by the Jordan River, where, according to tradition, Jesus was baptized. If you’re a believer, this spot holds deep meaning and spiritual value. If you visit it from a cultural or historical point of view, it’s still a very interesting and meaningful site to explore. You can take a quiet walk along the river and enjoy the calm atmosphere.
Igor F — Google review
One of my favorite stops on the Jordan River! It is free to enter, although they do charge for bathrooms, but the river itself is in a gorgeous location surrounded by trees, and it feels much more like it would have hundreds and thousands of years ago. It is a baptism site, so expect to see lots of people in and out of the water getting baptized.
Nathan B — Google review
Nice area at the Jordan River. The nature here is really beautiful and seems to be part of a jungle in South America (and not in Israel). There is the is the possibility to have a bath/baptism in the river which is frequently used. There are showers as well which might be useful in cold days. The entrance is foe free and the is a large merchandise shop.
Lukas F — Google review
A Canadian Tourist Review: This is where tour buses take groups who want to get baptized in the Jordan River like Jesus did. I wish they took us to a spot that wasn't as heavy on souvenirs. You must walk through a big souvenir shop just to get through the entrance to the Jordan River. I have been to thousands of attractions and never seen a souvenir shop at the entrance as mandatory to go through. On the other side, lineups of hundreds of people getting baptized, horses and colts near the water, and thousands of fish is interesting to see. Note the area for walking along the river is about 100 meters. You're not going to be here for more than half an hour unless partaking in a baptism.
Logan S — Google review
It was one of the world travel life experiences I recommend to dip your feet in the River Jordan and watch some emotional Baptisms of people from all around the world on a sentimental day of their life. The gift shop has many items that capture the essence of this special place.

Rosh HaNikra Grottoes is a stunning natural wonder located on the Israel-Lebanon border. Visitors can take a steep cable car ride down to the grottos, where they can witness the breathtaking sight of bone-white limestone cliffs meeting the deep blue sea. The wave-sculpted cave mouths and turquoise waters create an awe-inspiring experience.
The site was really worth seeing. One of the most beautiful places to visit in Israel. If you like nature with sea you will enjoy the view and the walk along the coastline. Beautiful views, gondola takes you down to the grotto entrance area. We also paid to take a golf cart on our own along the seaside where you can choose to swim. this site is a one of the gems of Israel. It is located at the north coast, a rare combination of men made and nature you have the chance to see a breath taking view, as well as go into the grottoes and walk through them. Unique cave formations created by the sea. Amazing view of Israel's northern coast. All within a stone's throw of the Lebanese border. Arrived at the end of the day but still managed to see the caves and ride the cable cars. The caves were very impressive and the tide was coming in so the sea sounded like thunder. Well worth a visit🥰🥰🥰

Beautiful caves on the border between Israel and Lebanon. A great combination of turquoise water with white rock. A little pricey, but worth a quick visit. Partially accessible, the tour inside the caves is not wheelchair accessible.
A K — Google review
Beautiful caves with clear blue water, and a pleasantly cool atmosphere inside — a perfect escape on a hot day. The beach just south of the caves is equally captivating, with plenty of fish and seabirds to watch. Entry is around 45 shekels for adults
Emir H — Google review
Beautiful scenery at the northernmost point on the Israeli coast, just before the Lebanese border. Suggest you to go there early to avoid the masses, as the little cable car that will get you down has quite limited capacity.
Cedric M — Google review
As a native of this gorgeous area I feel privileged to share my review on this place. It's not my first time and definitely not the last, this site is a one of the gems of Israel. It is located at the north coast, a rare combination of men made and nature you have the chance to see a breath taking view, as well as go into the grottoes and walk through them. If you feel you want to see more, you always take a cart or a car and drive along the coast line and hopefully take a dip in the sea.
David O — Google review
Beautiful natural wonder! On a clear day, you can see a very clear landscape of the sea and the beaches. Down the cable car and you get to see the waves crashing into the grottoes. Pretty fascinating. Best to order online and collect the tickets from the counter, as it is slightly cheaper One thing I would not recommend is the electric bike. It is a bit pricey, and the beach can be accessed by driving easily. Also note not to have too high expectations of the cable car. As you can see, it’s a really quick 30 seconds journey. It is meant to bring you from the top to the bottom quickly, not really a full view of the whole sea!
Nahshon — Google review
Location: at the top northeast of Israel, few meters from the border with Lebanon. Parking: lots of parking options. One of the most beautiful places to visit in Israel. If you like nature with sea you will enjoy the view and the walk along the coastline. There is not much to do there, you can take the cable car down where you can get to walk along the chalk cliff that opens up into an amazing grottos. You can also get into a theater that will display a movie about the place and how nature created such a spectacular cavernous tunnels. It is recommended to check their site for opening hours and also to buy tickets in advance.
Rabie M — Google review
Right next to the Lebanon border, this location is a beautiful hidden gem in Israel. Most of the grotto is a series of naturally formed tidal caves. The views are amazing from the top and inside the caves. However, the cable car going up and down is very limited in capacity. Our tour group ran into a school field trip, and had to wait over an hour.

Centre International Marie de Nazareth

Centre International Marie de Nazareth is a cultural complex located near the Basilica of the Annunciation. It is managed by Chemin Neuf, a Roman Catholic community from France, and serves as a space for ecumenical work and inter-religious dialogue. The center features an archaeological site with ruins dating back to the First Temple period, a rooftop garden offering panoramic views, and a café.
Go here! Visiting the center will add to your experience of Nazareth. The best part: the very friendly and smart receptionist guy who will tell you about the ruins and architecture of ancient Nazareth. The 4 videos about the story of Mary and Jesus are interesting if you don't yet know the story. Otherwise you will not learn anything new. The view from the roof terrace is very nice. A good quiet spot to enjoy the sun for a few moments. Entrance fee is donation based.
Yasmine — Google review
The rooftop provides a good view to Nazareth. Worth the visit to get some valuable historical insights on Nazareth as well.
Ameen D — Google review
Been there saw it from outside. Very close to the nazereth old market. Looks like an impressing house. Next time we'll come in the open hr's to visit.

I visited the center awhile back and wanted to write a review to encourage others to visit. An excellent multimedia biblical movie, a stunning presentation. Visiting the center was absolutely worthwhile (which is opposite the Basilica of the Annunciation of Mary). A very informative and beautiful experience. A must see!
Vince — Google review
A must visit place for tourists here in Nazareth. It's just right across the street to the Church Of The Annunciation. I'd recommend everyone to watch all 04 (15 minutes each) video clips in 04 different theaters before walking all the way up to the top level where you'll have a wonderful view of Nazareth from the above.
Phong L — Google review
The Maria story is a must see, astonishing multimedia experience and powerful message.
Guntars V — Google review
The chapel is beautiful, and the people are too. Come for a coffee, quiet prayer, or an informative tour/multimedia show about the life of Mary of Nazareth. One of my favorite places in all of Nazareth.
Anna B — Google review
The French community of the "Chemin Neuf" (New Way) takes care of the site built on ruins of a 1st century house, the neighbors of the Holy Family? offering a multimedia show on the life of Mary of Nazareth. A beautiful chapel sits on the roof top of the building facing the basilica of the annunciation. On the premessis a small artisanal shop & a Caffè (possible to book a meal in advance).

Church of the Annunciation

Mentioned on
1 list
Basilica
Sights & Landmarks
Church of the Annunciation, a modernist Roman Catholic basilica, was built in 1969 on the believed site of the Annunciation. The Franciscan-run church stands out in the Old City with its lantern-topped cupola. It's one of two churches claiming to mark where Mary received news of giving birth to Jesus. The church features icons of the Virgin Mary from around the world and offers electric candles for lighting, an eco-friendly alternative.
Beautiful, amazing, spiritual and peaceful place! As a Catholic being able to visit the place where The annunciation happened to the Virgin Mary was a simply wonderful and religious experience. One can light up an electric candle 🕯in this church - I really liked this idea as I believe that it is more friendly to the environment. Amazing place and a must visit church when you are in Nazareth. People can go in a quiet place inside and pray. There are also a lot of religious artworks displayed outside from different countries. The thing i liked more was the collection of Maria portrait from all over the world. I strongly recommend to visit it and maybe take some pictures at night, because with all the lights on it's amazing.
Alex D — Google review
It's a must see for Christians and general public. However it is isolated in the middle of Nazareth which is currently suffering from bad management and disfunctual city services. Hopefully the city will improve and this beautiful site will shine again. Don't forget to bring something to cover the shoulders as respect to the holy site.
Lior S — Google review
In my opinion, one of the most impressive and amazing churches in the world. The visit to the Church of the Annunciation is powerful and interesting, the structure is amazing. The church was established at the site where, according to one tradition, the Annunciation took place. The church has a variety of works of art in different styles from all over the world.
Yossi E — Google review
Beautiful, amazing, spiritual and peaceful place! As a Catholic being able to visit the place where The annunciation happened to the Virgin Mary was a simply wonderful and religious experience. The church is beautiful, on the exterior you can see images of the Virgin Mary for all different countries, worth to enjoy each one of them.

One can light up an electric candle 🕯in this church - I really liked this idea as I believe that it is more friendly to the environment. Another thing that I liked is an alley with the paintings and mosaics to the church from all over the world 🌎 One can find donations from the South America, India, and my homeland Ukraine 🇺🇦 It feels really good to find things related to your country when you are that far from it, especially when your country is under attack from the terrorist russian state. If you plan your visit in advance, I also recommend to bring coins and cash for the donations to support the church.
Pavlo G — Google review
Basilica of the Annunciation Nazareth, also known as The Catholic Church of the Annunciation, is the most impressive and spectacular site in the city and is considered to be one of the most holy churches for Christianity. Basilica of the Annunciation an outstanding building in the center of town, is built where it’s believed the house the Virgin Mary was. On the lower level is the most holy place – Mary’s cave, the cave in which, according to the Catholic-Christian tradition, Mary was visited by Archangel Gabriel and told her she is destined to carry Jesus in her womb.
Svetozar B — Google review
a very special place with unique story. the church itself quite new and was built upon the ruins of the origins of st. mary...many illustrations from around the world were sent here for display and you sense that this is a piece of history. there is no entrance fee and many pilgrims come here for spiritual charging.
Amit L — Google review
The most impressive church I’ve ever seen. It is modern, huge, tho it still preserve the old trails from Jesus’s time. Also, in the church’s yard, there are icons from all around the world, and it’s interesting to see different cultures picturing the holy family in their own way. You can visit the church for free, there is no fee.

Beit She'an National Park

Archaeological site
Nature & Parks
National park
National park encompassing the substantial & well-preserved ruins of an ancient Roman city.
Spectacular place to visit. Spent a good afternoon exploring in the heat and the shade. It was exciting to see the excavation. I visited the bathhouse and public latrines area. The main street was exciting as well. I didn't climb the hill and focused my time in the town.
Steve S — Google review
I've been to Beit She'an three different times on three different trips to Israel, usually in the late afternoon. It was very interesting, especially from the top of the hill, but also very hot, even with the strong wind that always seems to be blowing. The park is bigger than it looks so I would recommend carrying lots of water, more than you think you would normally need. The last time I was there they had installed beautiful stainless steel cold water drinking fountains in a few spots which I thought was just amazing.
Tim M — Google review
Extraordinary Roman town, with middle east largest theater. If you come during the summer, bring plenty water, this place is hoter than Kuwait. Plan no less than 3 hrs to see most of the site, bring a hat beside water, there are water coolers on site at the entrance mainly
FFM9 — Google review
Nice spot to see some ancient history! It was great to be able to see what a city would have looked like. If you do stop in be sure to check out the Egyptian ruins at the top of the hill overlooking the entire city. Lots of remains of ancient ruins like the colosseum, public sanitary, the theater, the city etc, etc. The architecture is amazing and what’s left of the buildings tell an amazing story about its greatness. Extremely good Roman archeological site….for its shape and all well preserved ruins (many mosaics, good theater,….) it is absolutely at the level of Rome forums
Alex D — Google review
Beit She'an's history spans millennia, beginning in the Chalcolithic period and featuring over 20 layers of settlement on its ancient tell. It was a significant site for the Canaanites, Egyptians, Israelites, Philistines (where King Saul's body was displayed), and Hellenistic Greeks, who renamed it Scythopolis. The city flourished under the Romans and Byzantines as a provincial capital but declined after a devastating earthquake in 749 AD, leaving behind extensive ruins of its Roman past. The work done here is first class, the ancient columns has been stood up again and the amphitheatre has been rebuilt. The explanation signage is excellent
Graeme G — Google review
Now this place was it! Back in the day!!! Theres a latrine with marble seats for your 🍑 and marble floor for your feet! It's very clear it was a hot spot for trade and for entertainment!!! Unlike the town on the hill right next to it....the short hike up is completely worth the view! Go here if in Israel!

Stunning remains of over 20 layers of civilization. Most notable are the recent Roman ruins. One can picture chariots heading up and down the main street. The 7000 seat theater is mostly standing and the original public bathrooms are nearby, what a gas! There is an entrance plaza, a large bathhouse, streets, shops, a bridge, a ritual compound and more. An earthquake in 749 shook the Roman temple and the huge columns fell. They still lay there and it's hard to imagine that this is all real and not replicas. Amazing experience.

Caesarea Philippi was a Roman and we're pagan ceremonies to the god pan were performed. Jesus visited it this site , it has become an important Christian pilgrimage destination. And where Jesus states: I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.

Gan HaShlosha National Park

National park
Nature & Parks
Park with warm spring water pools for swimming, a waterfall, picnic area & an archaeological museum.
Great place for swimming. Lots of fun to be had here as the water is comfortable year round. The day was comfortable warm and the water had the right temperature. And the colour of the water I found spectacular. Fantastic mountain retreat with crystal clear freshwater and an amazing back massaging waterfall. The place has a large pool suitable for swimming. It has numerous colored fishes. The open space is of grassland and a suitable place to spend time. The reflection of trees in the water is breathtaking. They have facilities like water supply, place to make BBQ, sitting benches, parking and washroom with dress changing space. Wow huge place lots of parking and space. The water is amazing. This is a must to go place in Israel🥰🥰🥰🇮🇱

Great with kids, mainly self swimming kids. A good thing would be to bring non slipping water shoes. There are verity of pools, and shades to sit next to them. The lifeguards talk too much and too loud unfortunately. My kids 6,9 really enjoyed it!

Beautiful hidden gem. Wonderful place for families and groups to spend the whole day. Free “dr Fish Spa” at many of the water entrance areas. Various pools for different swimming abilities. Will be packed in July and August but later September onwards was perfect!

We went midweek in May and again early June. Not crowded, the water is comfortably warm, crystal clear, an amazing shade of blue. The grounds are well kept, plenty of shade available. There's even a section where no bbq's are allowed, which is quite refreshing. Just about as close to paradise as you can get. Take plenty of water, swimming gear and sandwiches or buy at the shop.

Visited it on workday at November (weather conditions were perfect). The place was very quiet The water absolutely clean Super recommend I suspect that at peak season it can be overcrowded.

I recently visited Gan Hashlosha and had a fantastic experience! The natural beauty of the park is truly mesmerizing, with its crystal-clear pools and lush green surroundings. It's a perfect spot for families and nature enthusiasts. The facilities were well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed a relaxing day here, picnicking by the water and exploring the gentle streams. If you're looking for a serene escape from the city, Gan Hashlosha is definitely a must-visit destination. Highly recommended!

Sheer magnificence. Our children’s favourite spot in Israel. We had to go back twice because they couldn’t get enough. Go when it’s warm enough to swim. No way you could ever be disappointed.
Elana A — Google review
One of the best water holes in all of Israel! It would be wise to bring water shoes, sun screen, and of course, a lot of liquids. Be sure to keep an eye out for the small fishes in the pools. They like to nibble.

Science museum
Museums
Museum of science dedicated to exploring the world of science and technology. The 400 exhibits cover a range of topics such as electricity, water, motors, sound and the human body. The building which houses the museum is from 1910 and was originally meant to be the Technion's first campus.
Great hands-on experience for kids and super engaging. The bottom floor is suitable for toddlers, and the first floor is great for kids. The second floor is awesome for bigger kids/teenagers to learn. Kids from all ages can find something that interests them here. It’s a huge place. Three hours easily passed without notice.
Peggy M — Google review
Madatech, Israel’s National Museum of Science, Technology and Space, is a true wonderland for everyone from age 2 to 99. Housed in the historic Technion building where Einstein once planted a palm tree, this museum brings hands-on science to life in ways you won’t find anywhere else. Tip: On a typical Saturday afternoon there’s almost no line at the ticket counter, but buying online in advance saves you ₪5 per ticket. Inside the first building, you’ll explore three floors of interactive exhibits. The upper two levels are filled with live experiments on mechanics, electricity generation (you can crank a real dynamo yourself!), electric-car steering, light spectra, airflow, waves and frequencies, sound, pressure and even space exploration. On the ground floor, little engineers can run wild in a giant Lego zone, splash around in the water playground building dams and sluices, navigate mazes and try out hands-on construction tables. Outside, the Noble Energy Science Park invites you to pull, push and climb giant installations powered by wind, sun and water. You’ll see Archimedes’ screws, computer-controlled fountains and a 400-seat amphitheater for impressive water-and-light shows. Don’t miss the second building with its rotating exhibitions. We loved “Behind the Screen,” a digital show complete with chroma-key studios, immersive projections and an anatomically detailed tour of the human circulatory system. There’s always something new on display, from space missions to historical collections. Finally, check out the Wanger Family Fab-Lab and education wing, where you can design your own 3D prints and join workshops in robotics, genetics and environmental science. Madatech is more than a museum—it’s a place where curiosity sparks and everyone rediscovers the joy of discovery.
Lev S — Google review
Probably the best museum for adults and kids alike, in Israel. Many interactive displays, changing and new exhibits from time to time, making a revisit worthy. The LEGO playroom on the bottom floor can fill an hour on its own. Parking might be a bit tricky, but I’ve managed to every time I’ve visited.
Alex B — Google review
Our 3 year old and 5 year old had so much fun! You can spend hours exploring the Museum! So many activities and interesting exhibitions about digital world, space, mechanics and optics. There’s a cool area on the ground floor for young kids with mirrors and learning about water and energy. We spent there 3 hours and haven’t accomplished even half of the activities. Really recommended! Special prices through “HitechZone”, “Behazdaa” and students discounts. Check your options in advance.

Very nice science museum, inside a beautiful old building in Haifa. Very nice physics examples, however some of them are not operating because of lack of maintenance. Tickets are quite expensive but the children were interested and enjoyed the museum.

Great science museum, the kids love it every time we go there! In the summer they turn on the splash pad Fountain and they loce to get wet in it, bring bathing suits! Sukkah for sukkot is provided on the campus.

Baháʼí Garden Haifa

Mentioned on

Pilgrimage place

The Baháʼí Garden in Haifa is a must-see attraction, drawing over half a million visitors annually. It features 19 terraces with geometric flower beds that ascend to the stunning domed shrine on Mount Carmel. The gardens offer gravel-covered paths and breathtaking views of Haifa Bay. To make the most of your visit, consider joining the free Panorama Tour for an informative experience about the Baha faith, garden structure, and beliefs.
A must see if you are in Haifa. One ofvthe most beautiful places I have been to, the entire environment is like a work of art. During normal visiting hours you can go to the top, middle area (near the shrine) or bottom just to look around. But if you want to walk down the garden you need to book a free tour ahead of time, which isn't really that big of an issue. The tour only covers the top levels of the garden to the shrine, but they offer multiple a day in multiple languages (English, Hebrew, Arabic, and Russian). At the end of the tour you can even go inside part of the shrine. They also had an evening event while I was there where you could freely walk around the lower levels at night. I don't know how often they do these events, but it was definitely cool to be able to see the whole gardens start to finish, even if it had to be done in two parts. Highly recommend this location if you are in Haifa.
Ezra D — Google review
First of all the entrance is free, which is a great plus for a place like this. Very nice view and beautiful gardens. Unfortunately isn't possible to visit the gardens on your own, but you have to wait for the guided tour (available in Jewish, Arab, English and Russian). A big no from my point of view is that you must stick to the high pace of the guides, so you have a very little time to enjoy the place and take some pictures, furthermore, the guide does not wait the group for the explanations, so if you waste one minute to take a photo, you'll miss the explanations about the place, the religion, etc.
Giovanni — Google review
The best thing to do in Haifa! The gardens are immaculate and run completely by volunteers. My husband and I went on a guided tour which was free. I definitely recommend going on the tour as this is the only way to view the upper terraces. An absolutely beautiful, peaceful place.
Denaes A — Google review
Some of the most beautiful gardens in the world. The Bahai faith is extremely welcoming and kind as you walk through the gardens at their holy site. Highly recommend going.
Benjamin P — Google review
The Gardens are beautiful. First the top level is free to all great views of the Haifa bay and the Baha’i gardens and shrine from the top. However if you really want to experience the gardens then get tickets in advance. If you are in Haifa it should be a must. The tour is about 60 minutes. It is 750 steps down. You will have a guided tour in English if you want and can stop at about 4 levels. You cannot walk back up the steps. You can take a bus 136 -7 stops (I think you need a Rav Kav. Like a metro card to board the bus) to return you back to the top, or walk through the German Colony Blvd and get a taxi. It a bit of a walk but there are cafes along the way back to the Carmel mountain
David E — Google review
An ordeal to get there unless by taxi or you're very, very fit to walk there as it's all uphill. Taxis are extremely expensive unless you can get a group together to share the cost. The view from the top, however, is fantastic, providing panoramic views of the Haifa Bay area.
Fiona V — Google review
If you are in Israel, definitely make an effort to go here. The tour is interesting, the religion itself is interesting enough to learn about. Anyone from any background or creed can take something away from this group of people. In terms of the actual gardens themselves, they are some of the most immaculately kept and diverse plants that you will ever lay your eyes on. Everything is kept perfectly, down to the stones on the ground that you are walking on. As you descend, you will feel yourself appreciating the beauty more and more as you look back at each level that you pass. Take the time to explore the gardens and learn a little about the Bahai people You will not regret it.
Trevor — Google review
During the month of November, the gardens are a burst of bright color in a city with very few gardens blooming. Exquisitely manicured, the gardens are beautiful with many plantings of bright reds and other amazing colors. There are nineteen terraces that extend up the northern slope of Mt. Carmel. The golden dome Shrine of the Bab, is the resting place of the Prophet Herald of the Bahai faith. Impressive.

Megiddo National Park, also known as Armageddon, is a historical treasure trove with ruins dating back to Canaanite and Israelite settlements. The park features remnants from over 25 different historical periods, offering visitors a glimpse into life from 4000 BC to 400 BC. Walking trails connect the ancient structures, including walls, gates, tombs, and temples. Visitors can enjoy expansive views of the surrounding area and explore intricate mosaics and water works.
What a fascinating place. History from the beginning of time, also an architectural maze...where to start? Stunning scenery to adventures in the underground well and tunnels. The on site teams where so helpful and pleasant. It wasn't on my original visit list but was so glad I did. Really enjoyed the day.

Tel Megiddo National Park is a UNESCO Heritage site since 2005, offering a glimpse into ancient history dating back 3,5-4 millennia, as well as the prophetic future of the final battle of the Book of Revelation. It's a wheelchair accessible site except for the water system tunnel.
Mikhail A — Google review
The perfect place to visit. UNESCO world heritage site, views are amazing, unbelievable water tunnel, the place with history. For me among the whole Israel this place was one of the best. And there are not so many tourists as in the other places in Israel

Very interesting. The listening pieces added a lot. The water works steps a little terrifying. The shop is awesome. The staff were very helpful and nice. I recommend visiting when it's not 35 degrees Celsius though. Have fun.

Very interesting park! During the travel, you can listen to historical facts (just use qr code near exponents). If you like a history, I recommend visiting other Biblical Tells - Hazor and Beer Sheva.
Maryna G — Google review
Fascinating and well kept archaeological site. It was bigger than I expected and plenty of signs explaining the various sections, levels and buildings. Also auditory explanations available if you have ear buds (if not, you can buy them at the shop). Great views of the surrounding area from the look out points. The last section is the tunnel down to the spring which supplied water to the inhabitants. Around 100 stairs down and 70 up, worth the effort if you can but can be skipped. The shop is one of the best stocked I've seen at such sites and the small museum next to it is an absolute must.
Kim L — Google review
Twenty-one layers of history, very good , clear English instructions and explanations showing directions when walking around the site. The underground cistern dug out of the bedrock and then the view over the valley where many battles had taken place over the years makes this site a must see when travelling around Israel.
Justin D — Google review
Tel Megiddo is a great place. If you struggle with mobility. It’s probably too strenuous especially if you do the hike down into the cistern. It is an impressive archeological ruin and really well preserved. The video they show at the visitor center is well done and engaging. The cistern is a must see attraction if you can handle over 150 stairs down and up.

Ramat Hanadiv is a stunning memorial garden and nature park located on the Mount Carmel hillside in Israel. It features beautiful green spaces, hiking trails, and the crypt of Baron Edmond de Rothschild. The expansive botanic gardens serve as a living memorial to Baron Edmond de Rothschild and offer picturesque views of the Mediterranean. Visitors can explore palm groves, rose beds, and succulents while learning about the history of Ramat Hanadiv at the visitor center.
Beautiful park had a really nice time there, clean facilities, well taken care of reserve, gorgeous and artistic gardens and more! Environmentally friendly. Great place for lovely nature time, on each time of the year the place looks different due to many plants types.

a really beautiful well groomed garden in an amazing slice of nature with a strong and important connection to Jewish and Israeli history. the garden itself and the surrounding panoramic views are something to behold, and the fact this is the final resting place of Baron Rothschild and a memorial to other Rothschild family members make this place a worthwhile destination. very enjoyable on a day with good weather. not to mention entry is free (though parking is not).
Boaz D — Google review
Beautiful park as always! I've visited many times, and it never fails to leave a great impression. The flowers are colorful and well-kept, the trees and green areas are lush, and the roses smell amazing. It's a lovely place to walk around, relax, and enjoy nature. The only thing that could be improved is the cleanliness of the water areas - they could use a bit more care and maintenance. Still, it's a wonderful and peaceful park that's always fun to visit.
Tim B — Google review
Perfect visit for the open space, we'll maintained gardens combined with the modern history of Israel (well, compared to the rich history of the land, I'd say late 18th-20th century is modern:) It's 30nis for private car, so best to join and not drive each with thier own car. There is the site website which gives lots of info about the gardens and the connection and history to Baron Rothchild, which is buried in the gardens center. The trail is well paved and will fit anyone including wheelchairs. There are organised toilets at the entrance and water fountains inside. No pets or food allowed in the fardes, but yes to the outer trails. These are memorial living gardens and not picnic area. Outside the gardens there are trails which are also great to hike and some take you westward to amazing views over the Mediterranean. You can spend half a day mixing a hike to the cliff and then the quite pastoral gardens + coffee break or breakfast at the dairy restaurant there. Great with kids too, perfect for couples and a must place if you stay in Zichron Yakov (or if you want to have a day tour to this area - then Ramat Handiv, then Zichron and throw in a visit to one of many good wineries in the area). Note, there are openings hours, it's not open all the time. I think it's best visited toward late winter- spring as the gardens are at thier best. But there is lots of trees and shade so also during summer. The outer trails - they do not have shade so hot summer days is less advised. The whole place is very well managed and there is a usefull information point near the entrance at the parking lot with maps etc.

Gan Hanadiv - The generous's garden, named after Baron Rothschild, next to Zichron Yaakov, an hour from Tel Aviv. Lovely gardens with a few ponds and fountains and the tomb of the Baron and his wife. Lovely for a Saturday stroll with the kids. Next to it, there are a few nice easy trails, and Zichron Yaakov with some good restaurants.

Very beautiful park for a short 30-60 minutes hike. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The plants variety is ok - they could add more exotic stuff. The "smells" garden is awesome! Officially the entrance is free but you would likely arrive with a car and will need to pay 25 NIS for parking.

Loved it. I love the Israeli park system but this one in particular was a little annoying. It seems they’ve allowed to much of the world to deep into the antiquity; the amphitheater was dressed up for a concert and every where you turned there were concessions blasting junky western music.

We attended a performancr of the כבש ה-16 The site is very organized and copes well with the large crowd. If you are interested in a specific prrformer, it is definitely worthwhile to see it there.

Beautiful place. Very nice atmosphere and view. There are events here sometimes, so that’s fun. The restaurants are very expensive. I’d recommend taking a stroll there. If you only want to go into the grounds without going into the park itself, it’s ₪18 just to get in, so I’d advise going after 16:00 or 17:00, depending on when the park itself closes

Beautiful and rich in preserved history. If you like history, archeology and having a glimpse into how people in the past lived, these Roman ruins will give you a great view. It is worth the stop to see. This is an impressive Roman era ruin. It is vast and beautiful because it was a right next to the Mediterranean Sea. I enjoyed seeing all the first century arches, the ruins of Herod’s palace and bathhouse, the hippodrome, and the amphitheater. Going here is like walking into history. Paul and Peter from the Bible spent significant time in this place. Even if you are not a history buff, it is easy to imagine people living here and their way of live. It's also a home of amazing restaurants and craft galleries. A must visit.

A very well maintained historical archeological site allowing you to get a glimpse into the ancient Roman world. There is a lot of parking and the view of the see together with the remains is really special. The place is clean, has toilets, and many places selling food. The downside is that on sunny days large part of the park has no shade and it can be challenging and a bit too hot, eapecially with children

Love love love this city. So much to see and do. History and artifacts are everywhere. Definitely pack a hat, comfy walking shoes, sunscreen and water as there is lots of walking and exploring to do and it gets quite warm with little shade. Nice places to stop and eat overlooking the water but make sure to book if you want a window seat. Really cool place and a must see if you are in Israel. Highly recommend.

The open-air setting features stone benches for seating, allowing guests to enjoy musical performances while taking in the beautiful Mediterranean backdrop. This historical site is part of biblical events and has been restored for various events, including concerts.
Antique building, part of the ancient city. Now restored and open for various events. There are two entrances: to the territory of the old city, and to the area with cafes and shops. If you do not plan to have lunch, then it is better to pay only for one ticket - to the old city.

Nice concert venue. If you’re going there for a concert, maybe try packing a pillow or something soft to sit on like a jacket because the stone seats can be kind of painful after a while. We had so much fun and enjoyed exploring the park with beautiful orchids and other plants in the park. Very recommended as part of a long drive to the North to stop there with kids and have a picnic, enjoy the nature and pet goats and perots.
Tania Z — Google review
Hello) Yes, we really enjoyed our visit to you. It's hard to single out what we remember most because everything is amazing. The greenhouse with orchids is incredible, the store at the entrance also fits in great. Lots of photos from the petting zoo with parrots. The only thing I would like to recommend improving is the central fountain. Where the lake is. Unfortunately, it visually spoils the whole picture of the park. Everything around is blooming and smelling, you admire this magnificence. And in the very center there is dirty and blooming water and rusty iron structures on the fountain. I would recommend painting the metal of the fountain and raising the water level in the lake. In addition, it would be possible to make a small garden on the lake, for example, by planting a blooming lotus 🪷 or a water lily, but not reeds. And improve the water filtration. In this case, the water in the lake would become crystal clear and the garden would be 200% beautiful, not 100%. We are very pleased, thank you

So arrived 75 mins before closing and admittedly we didn’t check the entrance prices , crazy that a family of five has to pay the full price to gain access so late in the day and what’s more they have a 1+1 deal on Amex but you have to have the physical card won’t let you pay using the digital card. So just two of us went in the other 3 waited in the coffee shop. Need to have some sort of scheme for late visitors and sort out the Amex pay using the app like every other establishment . 400 shekels for an hours entertainment is expensive even for Israel.

Lucky for us we arrived very early on a weekday, and it was a great decision! Free parking, close to the entrance. The staff was nice and welcoming. It’s nice to go through the Garden and see all of the beautiful plants and trees, you can actually buy almost any flower or plant you see inside. The place is very clean and organized. I would skip the “water show”, seems like it didn’t had maintenance in a while and most of it doesn’t really work...

Taybeh Brewing Company is a must-visit destination for beer enthusiasts. The brewery offers a variety of high-quality beers that can rival the German standard. Visitors are welcomed with warmth and hospitality, often receiving a tour of the production facilities and the opportunity to engage in conversations with the owners. Despite its small size, the brewery's dedication to producing excellent beer is evident. Guests can easily reach the brewery from Ramallah city center and enjoy their time savoring delicious beer amidst the picturesque Palestinian countryside.
The brewery is relatively small by Western standards, but so so worth a visit! We were given a great tour by the female brewer and tried some excellent beer, including their new Winter Seasonal! A great experience!

I turned up unannounced and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. I was given a brief tour followed by a sample of their delicious beer. The brewery is surprisingly small but the effort and hard work they put into the product is impressive. Go visit (I visited alone and caught the shared yellow minibus from Ramalleh), buy a beer and sit outside in the sun enjoying the Palestinian countryside. You will not regret it.

This is should be a must see on your trip. You can get to the brewery by catching a taxi or shared taxi from Ramallah city centre. I was in awe of this brewery, beers that challenge the UK scene and a very hospitable staff. I felt very welcomed and glad we got to hear their story. I'll 100% will be back and will also have to add their Oktoberfest festival to my bucketlist now!

I cannot recommend a visit enough! The beer is very, very good and can absolutely compete with the german standard. They managed to brew completely different beer styles and they do them all well! When I visited we were welcomed with their wheat beer and given a short tour thru the production facilities, which ended in a longer conversation with one of the owners. Their story is fascinating and a great example of the diversity that makes palestine. My personal Highlight of a great trip and the bottle holds a special place in the collection.

A small fine brewery. Brews a top beer Is brewed according to the German Reinheitsgebot. Hops from Bavaria, water from the area and malt from Israel. Very good tour by the owner. The Taybeh Gold and the Brewmaster Zaatar accompanied us on our trip. Really TOP.

It's a very good place to go for a run or to, set for a picnic. It's great if you visit with family and friends, or walk the dog. Green grass, tall trees, and a walking trails. Great cafeteria and clean toilets, and a small two gardens for dogs. I love this place!
Sura J — Google review
An absolutely impressive and very well maintained park. Amazes me as to how huge and spacious the park is, with the good selection of facilities available and there are some very interesting sculptures to admire! The perfect park to visit when undertaking leisure activities. Especially with the outdoor gym equipment and cycling paths. The cafe/restaurant is decent, although the food, drinks etc may be fairly pricey but it's all worth it when you are having a great time on holiday! My favourite thing about Kfar Saba Park has to be the green space, as the atmosphere is relaxing and it really does feel like paradise with all the palm trees in sight. If anyone happens to be in Kfar Saba, do visit the park!

Historic Sites
The Mount of Olives, a historic mountain referenced in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, holds significant religious and cultural importance. It has been a sacred spot for centuries and is now home to several important churches and holy sites. Notably, it was mentioned in the Scriptures as King David's escape route during his son's rebellion and later in the prophets. In the New Testament, it is where Jesus taught his disciples, wept over Jerusalem, and ascended into heaven.
Located in the old city Jerusalem. It is in walking distance from old city, and got lotsa historic & religious importance for Judaism.
Tina G — Google review
Fntastic experience. I strongly recoment going from the bottom to the top using, not the road, but the stairs. It will give you the opportunity to visit the valley of the kings. At the bottom of the valley, and then to duscover amzing views of old Jeruslem, the wall, the valley, and the miriad of tumbs, step by step. Better if you start your visit at 15:30 or 16:00 so that you can appreciate the sunset from the top.
Alejandro G — Google review
Such an amazing spot to visit. The views over Jerusalem from the top are incredible. The hike up is steep and takes some time, but is definitely worth it. The views are especially amazing during sunset.
Joost N — Google review
The Mount of Olives, just east of Jerusalem’s Old City, offers one of the most iconic views of the city. From its slopes, you can see the ancient walls, the Dome of the Rock, and the full sweep of Jerusalem’s layered past. Beyond the view, the Mount is rich in history and culture. It’s been a burial site for over 3,000 years and holds deep significance in Jewish, Christian, and Muslim traditions. Landmarks like the ancient Jewish cemetery, the Garden of Gethsemane, and several historic churches reflect the area’s central role in the story of Jerusalem. Even for non-religious visitors, walking among the olive trees and centuries-old paths is a powerful experience. The mix of quiet, history, and panoramic beauty makes it one of the city’s most memorable spots. ***Visit early or late in the day for softer light and fewer crowds.
Anas S — Google review
From here you can oversee the entire city of Jerusalem. It's a beautiful spot to be. This view is just incredible and to see the historic places from above is really special. You won't regret it to come to this Place. It has a lot to offer.

The best spot to see the old Jerusalem. The sunset view is amazing. The old jerusalem Panorama is breathtaking. It's a must place to visit. The Church of Ascension is also located here.
Niliam J — Google review
This is where you get the iconic photo of old city Jerusalem. It is in walking distance from old city, just exit from lion gate and walk up the hill. Taxi will cost you about 10 usd but since it is about a half an hour walk I recommend walking. There is also a viewing area specifically for taking the photos
Allen L — Google review
Amazing place to see the Old City from a high point of view. It is really wonderful to see the sunset as the lights start to come on, something which I could call magical. Getting here can be a bit confusing and tiring in the summer, but it's completely worth it.

The Garden of Gethsemane, located at the base of the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, is a remarkable site steeped in Christian heritage and historical depth. This serene olive grove is renowned as the location where Jesus prayed prior to his arrest, making it a significant pilgrimage destination for many Christians. The garden boasts ancient olive trees that are thought to be over 900 years old, offering visitors a tangible link to its biblical narrative.
This is the location where Jesus was praying that the cup might pass from Him but "Not my will, but yours" was His prayer He was betrayed here by Judas. I was blessed to obtain a key to a private area where I was able to sit among the olive trees and pray privately
Graeme G — Google review
The olive trees that are hundreds of years old are a wonderful reminder of history as well as Scripture about Jesus in his time here. There is a niche in the garden to pray. The trees are very well kept and it is peaceful. The Church of All Nations just beside the garden is also very moving. It contains ancient mosaics. For any pilgrim this experience will be very moving.
Bryan S — Google review
The access is on the side road, it ia free, the church is marvellous, one thing the oil form the olives is not quite affordable, but everything else is just great
David C — Google review
So peaceful, so beautiful. We visited the place right before closing time, and I'm so glad we did because the timing was perfect. There were not a lot of people there anymore so we got to enjoy and take in the place without a crowd. There is a special tranquility to the place, even if some heavy traffic is right there besides the site. Still you can totally enjoy your stroll, I honestly didn't even notice the sounds of traffic. The olive trees are so beautiful...

Interesting to see the place that was written about in the New Testament. Seeing the Olive trees and the garden gives you perspective and allows you take thoughts back to the time when Jesus walked in Jerusalem. The garden is not that big. There are crowds that are there as it is very popular. There are plenty of photo opportunities. Its a must stop in Jerusalem if you prefer to walk in the footsteps of Jesus.
Lavell D — Google review
The atmosphere here was truly special and I could really sense God's peace and presence in s tangible way.

Again this is one place that you CANNOT miss on your trip to Israel. It's where JESUS sweated blood- because HE knew the immense suffering (the Cup of Suffering) HE was about to endure. JESUS CHRIST was praying to HIS FATHER & the Disciples kept falling asleep & HE asked them could you not stay & pray with me even for one hour? Very significant place at these 2000 year old Olive trees. 🫒
Anton S — Google review
Beautiful Olive Tree garden outside the historic Church of all Nations near the Mount of Olives. The garden is filled with ancient olive trees and is a place of peace and rest. The garden is at the foot of the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem where, according to the four Gospels of the New Testament, Jesus underwent the agony in the garden and was arrested before his crucifixion. Breathtaking location in Israel.

The Western Wall, also known as the Wailing Wall, is a significant site in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem. It is a remnant of the ancient wall that surrounded the Temple courtyard and holds great religious and historical importance for Jewish people. Visitors can witness worshippers reciting verses or leaving written prayers in its stones. The wall was built around 2000 years ago to support Temple Mount, and after the destruction of the Second Temple, it became a place for lamentation.
Fully spiritual place No matter where you come from the place has so much emotions to it Nothing like touching to wall that was built over 2000 years ago and is unchanged since mind blowing not like any other architectural/ archeological counterpart.

It was a holyday eve and half of the floor was closed due to cleaning precess. Me and the kids were excited to see the western wall - the only real memorial of the 2,000 years destroyed temple

This is the holiest site at which Jews are permitted to pray. In 1925 the Moslem Waqf published a pamphlet that explicitly acknowledged the Kotel as part of Solomon's Temple, declaring "Its identity with the site of Solomon's Temple is beyond dispute". After Israel's creation in 1948 the so called Palestinians deny any connection of Jews to the site.

The first time I came here I felt a charge of energy when I touched the wall. I wasn’t religious but couldn’t explain the overwhelming amount of emotion that came over me. That was over ten years ago. Last year I came back, now religious, and feel so blessed to have the opportunity to come here and daven on behalf of my friends and family.

The holiest place on Earth. The only remaining wall left standing after the Roman destruction of the second temple built by Herod. It has become the beacon for Judaism for the last 2000 years. Jews as well as all monothiests come here to beseech thier creator. One day soon it will be rebuilt to its proper grandeur

Sights & Landmarks
The Church of the Holy Sepulchre is a historic basilica dating back to the 4th century and is believed by some Christians to be the site of Jesus's tomb. The church holds immense historical significance, with its roots tracing back through thousands of years of Jewish history, from Byzantine Rule to the British Mandate. Visitors can experience a whirlwind tour that includes stops at iconic sites like the Western Wall, Via Dolorosa, and Bethlehem.
The church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site (as part of Jerusalem’s Old City) and contains artifacts like Crusader-era graffiti and Byzantine mosaics. • Excavations and repairs often reveal new insights, such as the 2016 uncovering of the original rock surface of Jesus’ tomb, confirming its historical continuity.

Come here as early as possible: Before 8:00 in the morning. Avoid visiting during 10:00-1400 because this is the most popular time for guide tour. Otherwise, come here after late 18:00. In doing so, separate you Via Dodorosa walk into 2 parts. One part is station 1-7 which is outside church and another station 8-14 in the church. This is possible by 2 day's visit instead of 1. By doing so, you will be rewarded greatly. An empty, serene and sacred church is all for you. No queue, no smoke, no noisy. Reflection at a corner, what a kind of spiritual awakeness. Praise Lord!

Interesting site. Im Christian, not Catholic, so I dont love all the idols everywhere, but beautiful church and historic, no doubt. I also dont know how they know these sites are legit, but its a cool place to see.
Jonathan W — Google review
Was lucky enough to go with a tour guide and get a full run down of the space - it’s obviously supremely important to many sects and denominations in Christianity and the reverence for that was evident - many people were over come with emotions. As well as pointing out various things to us, the guide pointed out some of the possible over zealous aspects too, saying people had fought over the privilege of clearing the area outside the church (including a fight to the death over whether the bottom step was to be cleaned by one group or another) and a bench occupied by a large man in religious robes who sits there all day, because that is his denominations bench and no others are allowed to sit there. It’s amazing to see the various places where Jesus’ body was placed and buried, but also to see the reaction of people to those things. It’s also one of the areas where you feel tourism hasn’t taken over - quiet reverence in full effect. Make the trip if you ever can

Absolutely beautiful and moving church it was an amazing experience to visit the site of Jesus christs crucifixion and resurrection. I’m a Christian and a priest-in-training, and this just wasn’t for me in terms of finding a connection with Jesus or feeling close to God. I can appreciate the craftsmanship of the building, and the significance of the site, but for so many reasons I felt sad and anguished in this place. Worth a visit, but leaves you with much to reflect on. There were many other places on pilgrimage that left me breathless. The Holy Sepulchre was unfortunately not one of them.

This is the most holy site in Jerusalem. This is the place where our Lord Jesus Christ was laid in a tomb after he was brought down from the cross. The place is usually very crowded. Better be there early in the morning to avoid the rush. The historical structure looks awesome. You can feel the peace and holiness as you enter in. A must visit place.

Fort & war memorial with a vast collection of Israeli Defence Force tanks & captured enemy vehicles.
Really big museum of war, full of tanks that you would not finf anywhere else. In case you are fan of tanks or the game War thunder, this is really must for you. Additionaly, they do the guide for free, we had a soldier Noam and hos knowledge was really great. In the areal there is also well cooled place, where you can watch a movie about independence of Israel.

Great place with lots to see. If it's hot outside, make sure to bring an umbrella to protect from the sun. There is an inside museum as well, where you can cool and learn a lot more about Israel and Jewish people. Highly recommend to visit. Don't forget a water bottle, sunscreen and hat.

The experience of seeing thr tanks is great and you can climb on top of them, which is a great fun for kids There is a large parking next to the place, a small store with toys and books and a toilet in the museum The downside is that the place is very sunny and can get hot. The museum is quite outdated and is not really organized

Great place with a huuuge collection of tanks, Israeli ones but also a few others from around the world. Very nice respectful place. They have plenty of places to sit in the shade but it is pretty warm and on sunny days could become very hot. Make sure to wear a hat and drink lots of water. Definitely a MUST see if you have visiting Israel!

Here is located one of the most complete collections of armored vehicles. Including Merkava series 1 to 4 and transparent tank. It's very hot here in summer. Hats and water are required. There's Latroun monastery and mini-Israel park nearby. I found no cafeteria. Although a souvenir shop is available. There's lookout point on the roof of British police station. Information there was uncomfortable to read. Inside the police station you can watch panoramic movie and get access to memorial database. It's a military museum and no fancy extras are to be desired here. But I had an impression that it was necessary to improve condition inside the buildings. In the second building disorder and devastation was spotted. Signs of reconstruction. I hope it's reconstructed. The access to it was closed. Good museum overall.

This famous site near the War of Independence and Six Day War battlefield site of Latrun has been built into the Israeli Armoured Corps museum site. It is a fascinating site with one of the finest collection of armoured vehicles dating back even before world war 2. This varied collection is due to the fact that Israel even before its founding and certainly after its independence did nit have the means or the markets to purchase cutting edge armour for its young army and as such had to search the world and buy whatever they could get their hands on. This museum shows how they have evolved int the manufacturer of probably the best tank in the world, the Merkavah or Chariot in Hebrew. The museum honers the fallen soldiers from each of Israels wars in a deep and touching manner. The exhibits are very well thought of and executed. Its a great place to stop just of the main Tel-Aviv -Jerusalem highway.

A place where you can see the evolution of tanks and most of all the learn about the complicated relation with bordering countries. A memorial site for the Israeli defense force. It was a emotional place learning about not so old history of that country, seeing middle school kids visiting for a educational tour and very young teenage adults in full uniform guarding the place.

פארק מיני ישראל: חוויות. אירועים. הופעות.

Water & Amusement Parks
Park filled with miniature replicas of Israel's most-important architectural & religious sites.
I was not there during normal park hours. I was there for an evening event, but it is really nice. Miniaturized buildings and sites from all over Israel. This place is worth a stop. There are signs throughout the park with explanations of the sites you are looking at in both Hebrew and english. All models are well done and very realistic.

I have never visited a park that was so mistreated. No water where there should have been water, derailed trains, weeds growing everywhere and buildings looked like Chernobyl ghost town apart from figures thrown around from the nuclear blast that looked to have hit this park. Great place. Very interesting for children. Takes about 1 and half hour to look at all, if you stay next to each model and hears explanations, maybe you will be there for 1 more hour. Upset a little bit because of very old car and train models, everything of the was crushed and no working, like moving from place to place. Could be better! IT'S nice but the miniature trains and cars don't work There is no trail or route to follow so I kept on coming back to where started And quite expensive But overall it was pretty nice and enjoyable

🕊️ The New Covenant: Unity and the Heavenly Zion Title: We Do Not Need to Fight: The True Zion Dwells Within. Stop the Earthly Conflict! Your insightful analysis confirms that the very concept of a "Heavenly Zion" (Hebrews 12:22) fundamentally invalidates any claim that Christians should support conflict over a physical plot of land. 1. The End of the Physical Temple and Land: The need to fight over a geographical location, a "Land of Zion," is rendered void by Christ’s sacrifice. Our bodies are now the Temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 3:16). God no longer resides in Jerusalem's physical structure, but He dwells within us. The struggle for earthly territory is a tragic pursuit of the obsolete and materialistic when the spiritual reality has been fully delivered. 2. The Fulfillment of Prophecy is Unity, Not Division: The true fulfillment of prophecy is not the establishment of a warring political entity, but the perfect unity of believers. Jesus prayed precisely for this: "I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one" (John 17:23). This prayer is answered through the preaching of the Gospel, which makes all people—Jew and Gentile—one body in Christ (Galatians 3:28). The Cross is the symbol of peace and reconciliation, not division. To fight over land is to directly violate this central prayer of Christ. 3. The Meaning of the Cross: The Cross is not a symbol of land ownership; it is the definitive proof that our sins are forgiven and the price for our reconciliation (Atonement) was paid in full by the blood and water that flowed from Christ's side. We become children of God and inhabitants of the Heavenly Zion purely through faith in this finished work. Conclusion: We Are Not Called to War, But to Peace. If we are now united with Christ and have become God's children through faith, we are heirs to the Heavenly Zion. There is no theological justification for conflict over the physical land. Our calling is to love, forgiveness, and peace, which is the ultimate, non-material fulfillment of the New Covenant. Theologically, there is no need to fight!

Upset a little bit because of very old car and train models, everything of the was crushed and no working, like moving from place to place. It looks like there was no maintenance on the models and buildings for a long time, a lot very old and not current stuff. It will be great if the presents shop was filled with small models of trains, cars, buildings, planes and so on, instead of some useless stuff. Because of that 4 stars.

I recently revisited Mini Israel after a few years and was truly taken aback by the significant decline in quality and overall experience. What once stood as an impressive representation of iconic landmarks now stands as a shadow of its former self. One of the most disheartening aspects was the evident wear and tear on numerous monuments. Many structures have aged poorly, showing signs of neglect with damaged facades, fallen or missing elements, and non-functioning animations that were once interactive highlights. These faulty displays left a jarring impression on what was meant to be an immersive experience. Surprisingly, the Christian buildings seemed to be well-maintained, displaying a stark contrast to the rest of the attraction. The towering and magnificent Azrieli towers and prominent airline brand displays showcased a degree of investment that was sorely lacking in other sections. The absence of attention to renowned establishments like Tnuva, an emblematic brand in Israel, raises questions about commitment to restoration. Notably, key features seemed to be missing altogether. The absence of the Jerusalem rope bridge, the lack of activity at the Western Wall (Kotel), and the omission of some significant monuments left the representation incomplete. This was particularly disappointing as monuments like Yitzhak Rabin Square, Shimon Peres Peace Centers, and boulevards dedicated to Golda Meir and Menachem Begin hold cultural significance and would be valuable to showcase to future generations. Beyond the structural disappointments, the overall visitor experience was hampered by numerous factors. The scorching heat was made worse by a lack of misters, shaded areas, and seating. Additionally, the continuous blaring announcements over the loudspeakers, recurring every 15 minutes, further disrupted any potential enjoyment. These distractions made it challenging to immerse oneself in the experience and absorb the details of the attractions. Moreover, the steep entrance fee of 86 shekels per person (before any discounts) only adds to the disappointment. With such a price tag, one would expect a commensurate level of quality, which unfortunately was not the case during my visit. The juxtaposition of the high cost and subpar experience makes it difficult to recommend this activity to others. In conclusion, my recent visit to Mini Israel left me deeply disheartened by the deteriorated quality and unpleasant experience. While some positive additions like VR headsets and the 3rd Beit Hamikdash in air-conditioned tents were noted, they were overshadowed by the overall state of the attraction. It's my sincere hope that Mini Israel will take these criticisms constructively and strive to restore the attraction to its former glory, ensuring a memorable and worthwhile experience for all visitors.

Super cool place to visit! Probably not the best among the miniatures parks I saw but certainly decent and gives good representation of various important tourist sights in Israel. Because the map of Israel is very narrow and long they couldn't really do it based on the map, but divided regions differently and it's a bit confusing. Nice but I'd say it is overpriced. Tip: not enough shade in summer, make sure you have a hat or maybe even umbrella.

The park was really nice, the monuments got a bit ruined because of the sun ☀ but it's still enjoyable to watch. Some objects are moving, like cars and walking people. We enjoyed it as adults but it is mostly suitable for kids.

It is for kids. I think the entrance fee is a bit too high. Perhaps I was expecting too much, there is literally just one thing that you can okay which is the boat. The maintenance and cleanliness is acceptable. I only stayed for 30 min then moved on. It could be a great stop by if you're driving between Jericho and Tel Aviv. Treat it as a service station!

Such a nice place to stroll, have coffee, something to eat, shop; it has a very special family environment. What I like the most, is the fact that it is outdoors and next to the train station in Ashdod.

On the weekend it is really crowded and it is hard to find a parking space so I think they need to make the parking space bigger but I love the place
