Al Hoota Cave

Mentioned on
3 lists
Nature & Parks
Caverns & Caves
Al Hoota Cave, a 2-million-year-old cave in Oman, is a true gem with its four lakes and rare species like blind fish. The cave is adorned with stunning stalactites and stalagmites and is the only one in Oman developed for tourism. Visitors can explore the cave's running water and staircases leading to key features. Additionally, there's a geological museum at the visitors center showcasing magnificent mineral specimens that have made Oman renowned among geologists.
It is a wonderful place to see the caves and experience the cave environment. There are over a million year old rocks in the caves with patterns and depositions developing over many, many years. These are very well maintained and give a unique view of the caves to visitors. A geological exhibition on the first floor of the entrance building showcases the various rocks and animal life in the cave. I have seen caves in other parts of the world, but this was very unique.
Rajat S — Google review
We visited Al Hoota Cave on a holiday, and it turned out to be one of the most enchanting experiences in Oman. As always, being with my dear friends made the trip even more special. The moment you step inside the cave, you feel transported into a different world — for a while, you will be in and out, wondering which part of the globe you are actually in. Once you reach the main gate, you take your tickets and wait for the small train that carries visitors to the cave entrance. That short train trip itself is a fine piece of mesmerising experience — the views and the anticipation build up the excitement before you even step inside. The guided tour takes you through millions of years of natural history, with spectacular stalactites, stalagmites, and an underground lake that is home to rare blind fish. The atmosphere inside is cool, calm, and almost magical, making it a refreshing escape from the outside heat. Outside, the museum and displays add, more insight into the geology and history of the cave. Everything is well-maintained, organized, and makes the visit smooth and informative. If you’re in or around Nizwa, this is definitely a must-visit attraction. Whether with family, colleagues, or friends, Al Hoota Cave is one of those places that leaves you amazed and makes you appreciate the hidden natural wonders of Oman.
Ravindran C — Google review
Great place to visit if you are in the area! There is a comprehensive museum in the main building. The cave itself is around 2 minutes away from a golf cart, which is included in the price. You can walk inside the cave by yourself or with a guide, we decided to go by ourselves. Complete walk last around 30 minutes and it’s very interesting to see how nature and time are capable of building amazing things like this cave! I took one star because the cost is a bit too much in my opinion.
John B — Google review
What an experience, well worth a detour. Wonderful nature creation. The tour through the cave was lovely, well built staircase and interesting information boards on the way. In addition to that there is an information centre and climbing wall which is charged in addition to the ticket. The only thing that could be improved is the coffee machine as the cafe did not serve latte or cappuccino 🤭
Ags — Google review
Amazing experience and absolutely breathtaking inside. We weren't prepared for the humidity inside, it was so humid we were dripping with sweat. The walk isn't fit for anyone who struggles with stairs as there are alot of them. Its also slippery so you need to wear sensible footwear. Took about an hour to walk through but well worth the time to visit. The feeling of cold air as you exit the cave was so nice!
Ben U — Google review
The place is an amazing natural wonder. But the place needs more attractions (not just the cave), like a better museum, science activities for students, VR, audio guide. Also the lights in the cave needs more creativity.
Abdullah S — Google review
Booked tickets through the online portal but never received the confirmation email. Staff at the entrance took the trouble to verify our card payment and with just a short delay we were allowed in. The troublesome train from the visitor center to the cave has now been removed altogether and replaced with a golfcart shuttle service... which worked fine. Cave itself is impressive in scale, but somewhat underwhelming in stalactite formations compared to some other caves in the region. The lighting and path are excellent however, making for a pleasant stroll through the cave.
Nan U — Google review
You walk through in like 30 minutes, its a nice cave but nothing compared to the top ones in other countries. Pretty decent but at 7 OMR per person honestly way overpriced.

Bahla Fort

Mentioned on
2 lists
Castle
Sights & Landmarks
Bahla Fort, located in the modern settlement of Bahla, is a grand sight with its mud-brick and stone architecture. Built by the Bani Nabhan tribe, it is one of the largest forts in Oman and was granted UNESCO World Heritage status in 1987. The fort features distinctive round towers and underwent extensive renovation before reopening in 2012. Visitors can explore numerous interconnected rooms and pathways while enjoying panoramic views from the battlements.
I really liked Bahla Fort — it’s impressively well-preserved and full of character. The architecture is fascinating, with its maze-like passages and old defensive walls. Interestingly, many parts of the structure stick out, which makes it look like it would have been surprisingly easy for assassins to climb and infiltrate back in the day.
Tomasz Z — Google review
Fort Bahla is less a historical treasure and more a luxury high-rise for bats. Step inside and you’re greeted by… nothing. Well, nothing except the constant flutter of wings overhead and a few sad museum glass cases — all empty, like someone stole the exhibits during the Bronze Age. I briefly got excited about a “museum of doors,” but no, not Jim Morrison, not even a funky carpenter’s passion project — just a few dull doors looking like they’d been rescued from a skip. The only real reward is the view from the top, which is nice, though you’ll probably enjoy it while a bat swoops past your head in casual ownership of the place.
Wade W — Google review
One of the oldest and biggest forts in Oman, with a lot of steps to climb! Limited information available about the details of rooms etc. Beautiful panoramic views from the top .
Hasna A — Google review
I actually really enjoyed my time visiting here! I don’t understand the negative reviews. The views are gorgeous, the renovation has done really well and the bats are SO COOL!! The weak point for sure is the lack of detailed information throughout the complex as it’s quite large. Yes, some aspects have placards but they’re all minimal. Even the “door museum” has a complete lack of info on the history or the doors or the purpose of the exhibit. Can pay the entry fee by card.
Jennifer S — Google review
Impressive! We arrived just before sunset, and were quite free to roam around in all the rooms, nicks and crannys of the fort. Suprisingly so! The pottery shop was not open at 17, so if that is important to you I would make sure to be there at an earlier time.
Magnus — Google review
Nice historic location but when we visited many of the exhibits were closed which was a shame. Not a huge amount of information to read about the place but spectacular views from the top. We preferred nearby Jabreen Castle.
Hayley T — Google review
I’ve been to Bahla Fort twice now, and every visit feels just as amazing as the first. The fort has such a strong historical charm — its massive walls, old towers, and the quiet desert surroundings make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. I really enjoy exploring the narrow pathways and imagining the stories hidden within those ancient stones. It’s one of those places that truly connects you to Oman’s rich history. I always love going there and can’t wait to visit again!
Muscat W — Google review
Ticket fee is 4 OMR for foreign visitors, in combination with Mosque Museum behind the Fort it is 5,5 OMR per person. Given the limited information that is provided inside nowadays or no map with information is it not worth the money in my honest opinion. Although it is a very nice and big fort with nice rooms and views. Given the price and provided information I would suggest visiting Nizwa Fort or Jabreen Castle.

Jabreen Castle

Castle
Sights & Landmarks
Historic Sites
Jabreen Castle, built in 1675, stands out on the plain with its two towers and intricately decorated rooms featuring painted ceilings. Despite the abundance of fortifications in the area, Jabreen Castle is a must-see due to its exceptional preservation and unique charm. Visitors can explore the latticed-window courtyard at the heart of the keep and enjoy bird's-eye views from the flagpole.
Stunning historical gem Jabreen Castle is absolutely beautiful and full of history. The architecture is impressive, with well-preserved rooms, intricate wooden ceilings, and amazing views from the rooftop. Walking through the castle feels like stepping back in time. The entrance fee is 3 OMR per person for tourists, which is well worth it. There’s also a small café in the courtyard where you can relax with a drink after exploring. One of the most fascinating and picturesque places I visited in Oman – highly recommended!
Grzegorz K — Google review
A very interesting and beautiful place to visit. There are many rooms in the castle, a complex layout that makes it look like a maze, with many stairs and different connections between the rooms.
Emmyli S — Google review
Beautiful castle with audio tour. Lot of staircases interconnecting the different areas of the castle. There was an old Omani gentleman with his potters wheel , making varieties of pots, including a very magical water jug. Would definitely recommend a visit.
Hasna A — Google review
Amazing castle, very well preserved, uniquely and meticulously designed, North a resident and a defence. Make sure you pay to have the guided tour with a guide and not the audio guide. The stories and explanations were evident, and helped us appreciate other similar diets and castles.
Leilei B — Google review
This is a lovely castle with an interesting history. It is more extensive than it looks upon arrival. We purchased the tour and the audio guide, which was an iphone pre-loaded with audio for the numbered stops. Overall the audio guide was great, however, stop 11 was off and some of the numbered items had sound effects that competed with the narration. There is also a lovely cafe on site.
Lindsay F — Google review
Built in the 17th century by the third imam of the Ya'rubid dynasty, which expelled the Portuguese from Oman, unified the country, and conquered Zanzibar and part of the Swahili coast. The castle is very pretty, the painted ceilings are impressive, as is the calligraphy on walls and the latticed windows. Both fortified manor and military stronghold, it includes good displays of antique furniture and implements. The main majlis room has some curious hiding places from where bodyguards would leap out if needed. All the same, the imam died in this castle during the bitter civil war with his brother. The landscape towards Jabal Kawr is magnificent.

One the unique places here in Oman must to visit because is way different than the castles it’s also have a great cafe inside

Misfah Old House

Mentioned on
2 lists
Guest house
Sights & Landmarks
The Misfah Old House guesthouse is a pricey accommodation option located in the charming town of Misfat Al Abriyeen. While it may be more rewarding to stay overnight here, the cost may not be worth what you get. The narrow and winding streets surrounding the guesthouse provide a unique and picturesque experience for visitors. However, there are also homestays available in the area that offer an equally beautiful setting for a potentially more affordable price.
This is not your usual stay. Set high up in the mountains with far reaching views the hotel is made of traditional mud. So don’t expect modern, but enjoy the delights of staying in a traditional setting. Exceptional welcome by attentive staff. Good evening meal and breakfast, traditional Omani of course. One warning it was 155 steps to our bedroom, so you need to be reasonably fit. The photo of the tower below is 1,000 BC
Trevor H — Google review
Simply breathtaking view and location makes this my favourite accommodation in Oman. The morning vibes were unmatched - especially when I was having coffee on the terrace surrounded only by the view of the local nature and mountains. The rooms were simple but clean and had everything we needed for the one night we stayed in the area. It's a bit of a trek to get from your car but the hotel staff was kind enough to help us carry the bags. They also accommodated us last minute after a mishap with another hotel so overall we were super happy with the service and hospitality. Thank you!
Aleks P — Google review
Misfah Old House was an absolute outstanding stay on our journey through Oman. It is located perfectly in the little village, on the route of the little village circuit. We stayed a total of three nights in the Old House, and were really happy with everything. The service was friendly and really personal, as both the owners, as well as the hotel staff helped us with our daily program, and indulged us in every way (especially with wonderful fresh juices). The rooms were small, but enough since you’re out during the day, and beds were really comfy. The food was delicious (both breakfast and dinner), and especially the goat at the buffet was breathtaking (really soft and rich in flavor). Thank you again for the great stay, and the little birthday surprise you organized for us!
Paul B — Google review
Nice simple accomodation, with traditional room and shared bathroom. Not too busy when stayed so had the bathroom to ourselves. Friendly welcome from the hosts and great balcony for sunset and dinner. Buffet style meals for dinner and breakfast. Good experience for one night to explore the old town and gardens.
Todd S — Google review
Didn't stay the night but enjoyed very fresh fruit juices at the roof restaurant. Gorgeous veny, very quiet and laid back, tucked under the old MIsfah town above you. Shadows of palms dance over the old mud brick buildings and the ancient Iflaj water irrigation system. Well worth a visit if you are a resident in the city or a passing tourist.
Sandy M — Google review
It's at the top side of the beautiful village. You can get there with your regular salon. However, you will need to walk some 5 minutes to this specific motel. I rate it the best out of the rest. Clean & specious room with a beautiful balcony overlooking wide palm trees. Comfortable bed & white clean sheets. We were welcomed with coffee & dates at the reception and fruit plate in the room. Buffet needs to be improved. Decent & welcoming staff. I would go back again.
N A — Google review
Loved our stay here. Very convenient to hike and explore the village. Food was delicious with good vegetarian options. They even loaned us a hairdryer.
Cheryl L — Google review
First of all, we wereńt too lucky with the weather and had to stay in the room due to lots of rain. So, our feedback is for the location itself. Location is certainly interesting for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts. The village itself is interesting to walk around to understand the history and how they are organized with water. Guest House itself: I would downgrade the service part for the food. We did not like it at all (dinner) and other guests were not too happy either. The views, location and welcome process are wonderful though. Food options: There are coffee shops which seem to serve reasonable food too.

Such a beautiful piece of history. Very well maintained and lots of little places to explore. Has electronic audio guides in multiple languages with some fantastic stories all about the fort. Definitely a place I will revisit when I go back to Oman.

It was by mistake we visited this place. Went to nearby Al Maha fuel station the guys pointed us to this location mentioning about it natural beauty and fresh water flow 💦🏰 but not at all disappointing would recommend to come with kids and family. 👍💕

We visited Al Hazm Castle during the Eid holidays in 2025, and it was one of the best experiences. The castle is well-maintained, and they provide an audio guide, which helped us understand the history very well. Definitely worth a visit.
Aysha A — Google review
I visited Al Hazm last month, a truly beautiful and well maintained heritage site. The fort’s architecture, history, and peaceful surroundings make it a must-visit spot in Oman. The staff was helpful and the place is very clean. Highly recommended for history and culture lovers
Prasad C — Google review
Al Hazm Fort is a beautifully preserved historical site that offers a fascinating glimpse into Oman’s rich heritage. The architecture is impressive, with massive wooden doors, watchtowers, and traditional Omani design elements. The fort is well maintained, and the layout gives a clear sense of its strategic and cultural importance. It’s a peaceful and enriching place for history enthusiasts, and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area
Shiraff A — Google review
This fort seems to be heavily militarised in its hey days. Lots of cannons (the cabin towers are amazing), secret passage and a pretty substantial jail. There's a gift shop with all sorts of crafts. I am not sure though if every items there is authentic.
Rtexal T — Google review
It is one of the best forts i ever visited, the voice guided tour made it more enjoyable. Every thing was amazing, the staff was very helpful,we spent around an hour or so in the fort.you need to buy a ticket and the rates are very reasonable, the ticket price varies and it is different for the tourists except omani locals. A must visit place, there is a musjid next to the fort who has a flowing water ablution system and I liked it m.

Must see experience just off the main highway. This fort is extremely well maintained and also allows visitors to go through old passageways. Audio guides are available and complement the visit greatly.

Jebel Shams, the highest mountain peak in Oman, offers breathtaking views of the deep Wadi Ghul also known as the Grand Canyon of Arabia. The valley is characterized by vertical cliffs that expose more than 1000m dropoffs. The access point to this popular mountain can be achieved either by foot or 4WD. A double-arched gateway marks the entrance to the town that serves as a natural access point for historic sites such as Bahla and Jabrin.
Highest mountain in Oman. Stunning view of mountains, labelled as the Grand Canyon of Arabia. Temperature drops at 17 at the time we went ( Dec 2, 2024). Its a perfect location for all who loves adventure. It is best to go with a 4WD. The terrain is a little bit challenging. A perfect spot for camping and hiking.

Temperature was awesome.. It’s a perfect location for all who loves adventure. It is best to go with a 4WD. The terrain is a little bit challenging. A perfect spot for camping and hiking.

We did the balcony walk W6 and spent about 6 hours return (with photo stops, lunch stop and we spent quite a bit of time at the oasis) you will need good shoes as there are lots of scrambling rocks. Lots of goats along the way! When you reach a place that seems like the end, look for the flag, it should direct you to go up the rocks a little bit to find the oasis. Lots of people turn back at just the last point. We also saw some deserted buildings there. We came in January and lots of people came early in the morning too, it’s quite cold in the morning and with the sun it’s ok. But when we came out at noon it’s still quite cloudy so it was quite cold. We came here with a normal car but a 4WD would be handy.

Jebel Hafeet, located in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates, is a popular destination known for its diverse range of attractions. The mountain offers hiking opportunities and is home to endangered species. Visitors can enjoy picnics and take in the outstanding views of the rugged Arabian terrain from the top.
Wonderful point. Love it. Road trip is amazing. No matter how hot the weather is, you can find serenity there and temperatures are always much lower than the ground. One negative point is there aren’t much food points like cafeteria or grocery store on the way or up on the top.
Care C — Google review
Visited Jebel Hafeet in October and really enjoyed the trip. The weather was very pleasant — cool breeze, clear blue skies, and the views from the top were absolutely stunning. The drive up the mountain itself is smooth and scenic, with plenty of photo spots along the way. However, the only downside was that the public restrooms were closed during the day and only opened after 4 PM, which was quite inconvenient for visitors. Other than that, it’s a perfect place to relax, enjoy the view, and spend some peaceful time away from the city. Highly recommended for a short day trip or evening drive, especially during the cooler months.
Abdul W — Google review
Jebel Hafeet is truly one of the most stunning natural landmarks I’ve visited. The drive up the mountain is absolutely beautiful, with winding roads surrounded by different formations of rock and panoramic views at every turn. Once you reach the top, the view is simply breathtaking, you can see the vast desert stretching out below and the city of Al Ain. It’s the perfect spot for photography, a relaxing drive, or simply appreciating nature’s beauty. Prepered time to go during winter season to avoid heat of the sun😅😅 Highly recommend visiting Jebel Hafeet if you want to experience one of the UAE’s most scenic and peaceful spots. A must see destination! 🌄

Al Ain Oasis is a sprawling 1200-hectare expanse featuring palm plantations, walking paths, and bike rentals. It offers a serene experience with its tranquil atmosphere and shaded pathways lined with various fruit trees. The oasis provides insights into ancient farming techniques using traditional irrigation systems to cultivate thousands of date palms and other fruits. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2011, it showcases the falaj irrigation system that has nourished the area for centuries.
Wonderful place. Gives you a beautiful experience. Wonderfully maintained area. Free entrance. Buggy available but chargeable, cycle options also available. Have to buy tickets for cycling and Buggy cars.Preferably a winter place ❤️❤️
Sterin S — Google review
A nicely kept UNESCO site. It's basically farm lands kept irrigated by the ingenious fulajs. The thing that makes it different is that we are technically in the middle of a desert and with that fact, the appreciation heightens as you are surrounded by pretty lush and varied plantations. Don't miss the centre to learn more about the site history with an interactive projection.
Rtexal T — Google review
Visited Al Ain Oasis in mid-July to explore the beautiful date palm plantations. We rented a 4-wheel cycle and rode around the oasis, which was a fun experience! Saw fresh red dates and the traditional irrigation system through water channels – very interesting. The place is perfect for nature lovers and photographers, but July was extremely sunny, so our photos didn’t turn out great. I recommend visiting between November and January for a better experience. A peaceful and refreshing spot!

Visiting Al Ain Oasis was one of the most beautiful experiences I’ve had in the UAE. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The place is absolutely unique it feels like stepping back in time, surrounded by pure, untouched nature. The oasis is vast and incredibly peaceful, with thousands of palm trees creating shade and a magical atmosphere. We rented a quadricycle to tour around, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Riding slowly through the shaded paths, with the sound of birds and the breeze passing through the trees, felt almost like entering another world. It’s a true escape from the fast rhythm of city life. One of the highlights was discovering the Falaj irrigation system, a centuries-old technique that still works today. At the end of the visit, the explanation about how it functions was fascinating and gave so much cultural and historical depth to the experience. There is also a charming coffee shop inside the oasis with beautiful design and an incredible view of the palm groves. I truly recommend this experience to everyone living in or visiting the UAE. Whether you are looking for history, culture, or simply a peaceful connection with nature,it is a hidden treasure that should not be missed. ** Free parking available at the entrance.

Great place to walk and perhaps cycle. You can rent a bicycle or a quadricycle and explore the place. One of the cafes we wanted to explore was closed. Lots of nature, very peaceful. Not much to do apart from enjoy the calm and quiet.

A peaceful green retreat in the heart of Al Ain! Al Ain Oasis is a beautifully shaded area with winding pathways, hundreds of date palms, and traditional falaj irrigation channels. Walking through the oasis feels calm and refreshing, giving a glimpse of the city’s agricultural heritage. It’s well-maintained, family-friendly, and perfect for a leisurely stroll, photography, or learning about traditional Emirati farming practices. 🌴💧🌿

Hi this is a beautiful Oasis which was once naturally formed. Now a days they bring water from far sources. Although it is lot greener compared to other places, still it was very hot during the day. And there were no activities. It is advised to visit during winters when there are programs and stalls. Nice and quiet place to spend with Nature.
John B — Google review
I went there in mid-June, when there are few tourists! I didn't have guides, but I was just interested in seeing the date gardens. I was pleased, no one distracted me, I just rode my bike around everything. For the first time in my life I saw red dates. I saw artificial irrigation through water channels! In a word, it's very cool there for lovers of nature and oriental culture.

Al Ain Palace Museum, located in Al Mutawaa, Abu Dhabi, was once the residence of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Built in 1937, this restored fort offers a glimpse into the life of the sheikh and showcases historic furniture and art. Visitors can explore exhibits that depict pre-oil era Emirati culture and learn about the origins of the Founding Father.
Very interesting. The place is large and displays lots of settings relevant to ancient lifestyle within the region. It recreated (hosting all the original items) bedrooms (of kids, wifes, servants, etc), a pond, coffee rooms, gardens and so on. You can get in for free and you can tell the museum is very well curated. Bathrooms are clean and it's wheelchair accessible. One tip would be to make the ramp (for wheelchairs) leading to the bathroom a bit less steep
Ester ༄ — Google review
I visited the museum last year in 2024. Al Ain Palace Museum is a must-see for anyone interested in authentic Emirati culture, the life of Sheikh Zayed, and the pre-oil era, all at no cost. A rewarding and comprehensive experience, especially during a tour that includes Al Ain Oasis and Al Jahili Fort. If you plan a future visit after the renovations, be sure to check the official reopening date first.

We really enjoyed our time here. It doesn’t take long to explore, an hour and a half at most. Entry: Free The palace museum is very clean and well kept. The staff were so polite. We were traveling with our cat, and we couldn’t just leave her in the car alone during the extreme hot weather and they allowed her to stay in the staff room while we visited ☺️💕

A must see place if you are looking to know about the founding father of UAE, HH Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The palace is well maintained and takes us back in time. There are well preserved artefacts within the palace. One can spend an hour easily exploring and definitely worth a visit if you're in Al Ain.

a nice museum that actually used to be the former home of the former ruler of the UAE. a beautiful home to walk through and lots of history to learn. we were greeted with gahwa and dates. the staff was very friendly in explaining things to us. there are restrooms available. unfortunately a majority of the museum is outdoors and the parts that are inside do not have any AC. the parking is outdoors and not shaded either. still worth a visit!

Al Ain Zoo is a renowned conservation center and wildlife park in Al Ain, boasting an impressive collection of over 4,000 animals from 200 different species. The zoo offers engaging experiences for families, including feeding shows and opportunities to observe predatory animals, wild birds, and various wildlife. Visitors can explore spacious enclosures that house indigenous and exotic species such as Arabian oryx, Barbary sheep, rhinos, hippos, tigers, lions, giraffes, lemurs and more.
I was born and raised in the UAE, and some of my fondest childhood memories are of school trips to Al Ain Zoo. Visiting again after so many years was such a nostalgic experience. The zoo has transformed into something truly remarkable, with its sustainable building that even houses a research center filled with books, a peaceful space to sit, read, and reflect. Everything has been so thoughtfully designed, making the place even more special. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed. The valet team was so kind, and the gentleman at the ticket counter greeted me with such sweet words. I chose the full option, which included the safari, and I even got upgraded to an SUV, such a thoughtful surprise! The safari was the highlight. I had the chance to feed the giraffes and see the animals up close. My guide was a lovely Emirati lady in abaya (I feel ashamed I forgot her name, maybe Mariam). She was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, sharing so much about animal migration, different species, and what’s coming next for the zoo. Hearing about their plans for elephants and more lions in the future made me even more excited. It was a marvelous experience, nostalgia, warmth, and discovery all in one. Al Ain Zoo will always hold a special place in my heart, and seeing how beautifully it has evolved makes me so proud.

Al Ain Zoo is one of the largest and most well-maintained zoos in the UAE, located at the foothills of Jebel Hafeet in Al Ain. It is a major family attraction, combining wildlife conservation, education, and recreation. Wide Variety of Animals: Home to more than 4,000 animals, including lions, tigers, giraffes, rhinos, elephants, hippos, and rare desert species. Conservation Focus: Plays a key role in endangered species breeding programs and wildlife protection in the region. Family-Friendly: Great place for children and families, with activities like petting zoos, feeding sessions, and educational shows. Safari Experience: Offers the Al Ain Safari Tour, where visitors can enjoy a natural reserve setting with close-up animal encounters. Modern Facilities: Neat walkways, shaded areas, cafes, rest spots, and prayer rooms make it comfortable for long visits. Educational Value: Perfect for students and schools, as it combines fun with learning about wildlife and conservation. Can get very hot during summer, so best to visit in cooler months or evenings. Food court options are available but could be expanded for more variety. Weekends and holidays are often crowded, so visiting on weekdays is recommended for a quieter experience. Overall Impression: Al Ain Zoo is a must-visit destination in the UAE – not just for tourists but also for residents. It’s an excellent place for families, school trips, nature lovers, and wildlife enthusiasts, offering a balance of entertainment, conservation, and education.

Our visit to Al Ain Zoo and the Safari was truly wonderful. The zoo is clean, well-organized, and home to an impressive variety of animals. The Safari experience was definitely the highlight our guide was excellent, sharing so many interesting facts about the animals throughout the tour. We even got the chance to feed the giraffes, which was such a special and memorable moment! Just a little tip, make sure to book the safari in advance, as spots can fill up quickly. A perfect activity for families, nature lovers, or anyone wanting to discover wildlife up close in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended!

Always loved this place as a kid growing up in alain. They have changed their interior space now. While I liked a lot of things, really miss the old layout. It was easier to walk through. Buggies are very convenient. Currently animals are reduced as they are doing maintenance work to the zoo. Hope to see more animals soon. Also now we have to pay extra to see some animals like giraffe, zebra, elephants.

Never been a fan of a zoo as it’s always been sad to see animals taken from their real habitat. However, when one visits the Al Ain zoo you immediately feel different about it. Only as good as what the UAE do things - this visit was actually quite heartfelt! What an incredible experience for kids and the Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre is so well done. Well worth the visit and we thank the United Arab Emirates for such wonderful opportunities. Shukran!

Our visit to Al Ain Zoo and Safari was amazing! The zoo is clean, well-organized, and full of fascinating animals. The Safari was the highlight — our guide was great, and feeding the giraffes was an unforgettable experience. Tip: book the safari in advance, as it fills up fast. A perfect outing for families and nature lovers — highly recommended!

The zoo is very well designed and maintained. Amazing level of hygiene all over the place. Some parts of the zoo were closed either for maintenance or other reasons. The bus or truck tour is really amazing with Emaraty national tour guide. Plenty of valuable information provided along the route about the animals that were encountered. The tour is a bit pricy but worth it in general. They have daily show around 6:30 but it was not up to the level of expectations. Parking fee is more than expected and we haven’t seen well prepared parking area. The road to the zoo gives the visitor the feeling that it’s a real safari. It really worth the time and effort to get there.

Dubai's first national park, a 225-square-kilometre reserve & home to Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa.
A bucket list experience. We were collected in a private G wagon from our hotel. Our driver was very knowledgeable and friendly. The private desert tour was outstanding. We had dinner in the desert at a table for 2. The food was first class. There were dancers, henna tattooists sisha and camels.

Dubai Desert Conservation is going to be crowded this winter. The night camps are the places people would love to stay. A VIP night cam will be introduced soon by Emirates. Barbecue will be the most loved dish here. You will be able to see the desert deers and camels here. If you are lucky enough might see the snakes and scorpions too. Be vigilant when you visit this place and do not litter anything anywhere in the desert or you will end up paying huge fines.

This was our first visit to the conservation reserve, and it was an unforgettable experience. The center features a beautifully curated mini-museum with fascinating insights into the region’s wildlife and native species. The highlight, of course, was the dune drive — an incredible journey through the desert landscape. The entire tour was well-organized and truly worth a visit for anyone wanting to connect with the natural heritage of the UAE.

Anything I thought I knew about the desert was wrong. It’s not just sand and sun—it’s life, history, and resilience. Seeing camels roam freely and spotting the oryx, Dubai’s national animal, in its natural habitat was something else. It made me wonder what it was like to live as a Bedouin—finding peace, purpose, and strength in the middle of nowhere. The desert holds so much more than meets the eye.

All good, perfect, greens around, but this music around on barbecue zone is awful! People came here to enjoy piece and nature, and from any corner this stupid extremely loud music! Please prohibit this!!🙏
Владислава Ш — Google review
My family and I, along with a friend, visited the lake, a place that was calm and quiet. We reached our destination in the evening to enjoy the sunset. However, since it was the weekend, the area was crowded with vehicles. Many people were setting up tents for overnight camping. One major difficulty we faced was the lack of washrooms. If you’re visiting with family and kids, this can be a significant issue. I didn’t see any washrooms, though I’m not sure if they were available elsewhere. Another challenge was the lack of proper lighting. This might be intentional due to the presence of wild animals—we saw many deer at night. Additionally, the place was dusty, with vehicles constantly moving around. If you have breathing issues, it’s better to carry a mask. There are no nearby shops, so it’s best to bring enough water, a camping light, and all necessary supplies. The place is well-maintained, and I loved the ambience—a perfect escape from the busy town. You can do grilling, but you’ll need to carry everything yourself. The lake is beautiful, and we spotted flamingos, various ducks, and deer at night. However, navigating the roads at night can be difficult, as they are confusing, and you cannot entirely rely on maps.

Legoland® Dubai

Water & Amusement Parks
Legoland® Dubai is a theme park dedicated to Lego bricks where kids of all ages can enjoy fun rides, interactive shows and attractions, and more. It's one of the best tourist attractions in Dubai for children aged 2-12 years old and parents too will love it! There are over 40 different rides, shows, and attractions spread across six different themed lands with something for everyone. Plus, there's a waterpark right next door making it an amazing day out for the whole family.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – First visit to Legoland (and definitely not the last!) So… our first ever visit to Legoland! We started the day in the water park, ready for fun and splashing — but the lock system had other plans. It didn’t work. At all. The QR code on the wall just stood there, mocking us, while a crowd of confused parents (including me!) tried scanning it like secret agents on a mission. 👉 Tip to Legoland: please put up a sign saying “This doesn’t work – go here instead!” And about the lockers… you can choose between large and jumbo (extra large). Honestly, I don’t know how many centimeters of difference there is — but not much! We’re a family of four, not overpackers, and we could barely squeeze into the “jumbo.” Anyway — once we got inside, things got much better! The staff were super friendly, smiling, helpful, and made everyone feel welcome. ❤️ Note to visitors: please don’t litter! It was sad to see trash on the ground in such a nice place. Maybe the water park could use a few more staff to keep things clean, but the toilets were spotless, so applause for that 👏 After the water park, we went to Legoland itself — and wow! We didn’t have to wait in any lines (yes, that’s possible!), and the Halloween theme gave it extra charm 🎃 But again… dear visitors… stop littering! Those tiny Haribo bags were everywhere 😢 Toilets again: still great. ✅ Staff: still lovely. ✅ Crowds: what crowds? We felt like we had the park to ourselves — it was fantastic! They are quite strict about the height requirements (some rides need 105 cm minimum), but that’s understandable for safety. We ate at the buffet, and the food was surprisingly good — no complaints there. In fact, we had such a good time that after the water park, we upgraded our tickets to silver annual passes! 🎉 We’ll definitely be back within 12 months — and not just once. One little wish though… maybe time for a small makeover? A deep cleaning, a little paint here and there — the park deserves to look as colorful as the Lego bricks it celebrates!

Legoland theme park and water park is an absolutely amazing experience and a true heaven for children. My family had a wonderful time exploring both parks, and the detailed LEGO builds and interactive rides sparked so much creativity. Tip for Visiting: I highly recommend dedicating one full day to each park (Theme Park on Day 1, Water Park on Day 2). Trying to rush through both in a single day means you miss out on a lot of the fun and enjoyment. Splitting them up allowed us to savor the experience and make the most of our tickets. A Quick Note on Food: The food inside the park is a bit expensive, which is typical for a theme park, but the quality was decent and it was definitely worth it for the convenience and to keep the awesome day going. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we left with tired, happy kids and incredible memories! We will definitely be back.

I went for a full day access with my 8 and 4 years old kids. All I can say that it was a wonderful experience for all of us. The park was very organized and clean starting from the entrance to the main hall, and going to the deferent parts of the park. The shows were amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My advice: 1) Get an online ticket and try to book 1 day prior to get a discounded tickets 2) Go early at opening time to have most of the parks covered 3) Start your journey with the indoor activities at day time and the outdoors when the heat cools down 4) Buy a refill Mug or 2 since this will cut down the costs.

I visited LEGOLAND Dubai with my family (Wife 5 years son and 10 months Daughter) and we all had an absolutely amazing time! The park is perfect for young kids- everything is colourful, creative and designed to spark imagination. My son especially loved driving school, the mini roller coaster and the interactive Lego building area. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the park was clean and well- organised. There were plenty of shaded spots and water play area, which made it comfortable even on a warm day. The mini LEGO versions of famous landmarks in MINILAND were impressive for both kids and adults. We spent almost the entire day exploring, and my son didn’t want to leave! It’s a wonderful place for families with younger children- educational, fun and full of excitement. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Dubai with Kids!

Had a fantastic family weekend away to celebrate our son's 5th birthday. The pool was closed but the hotel gave us access to 2 parks as compensation and we had two wonderful days at legoland Park and the waterpark. In the morning and evening time the children loved the activities provided in the fun zone and the creative workshop. Special mention to Habib in the fun zone who was so patient and helpful with my boys during the car make and race activity. Other shout outs include Ramana aswell as Sandy, Solomon and Emem. They kept our kids entertained for the rise and shine and duplo steam. Stayed in the fully themed pirate room which our boys oved. I would recommend getting to breakfast earlier rather than later as it gets very busy. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

The park is clean, well-organized, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. There are so many great rides, shows, and interactive areas where children can build, explore, and play safely. The LEGO City, Miniland, and Dragon Coaster are must-try attractions. Even adults will love the creativity and attention to detail everywhere you look. Food options are nice, and there are plenty of shaded areas to relax between rides. The entire experience is joyful from start to finish — a 5-star adventure that both kids and parents will remember! 🌈✨

This review is for the WATERPARK of Legoland: The entry fee is very expensive for what you get. We’ve been there several times and there’s always some slides closed. The food is terrible. It’s only fast food and it tastes if it was all fried in old oil. Some staff is nice but some can’t even smile which is a shame in a kids place. The areas for little ones are not great, not so much do do. The build a boat station was nice though and some slides are quite fun. But all in all that’s the least good waterpark around Dubai.

Dubai Parks and ResORTS is a massive amusement park complex containing 4 theme parks, a plush spa and a luxury hotel. It has an open-air food court with different historical eras represented, as well as themed cinemas and rides that are sure to keep guests entertained for days on end.
I just came back from Dubai Parks and Resorts last week with my family, and honestly – it was one of the best family trips we’ve ever had! The whole place feels like a world of its own, and there’s something for everyone, no matter the age. We started with Motiongate Dubai, and it was absolutely incredible. The rides themed around Hollywood movies like Kung Fu Panda, Shrek, and The Hunger Games had us all buzzing with excitement. The detail in every corner is amazing, and the rollercoasters are top notch – fun for both kids and adults. Of course, LEGOLAND Dubai was a huge hit with the kids. The creativity on display is mind-blowing, from the mini cities made of LEGO bricks to the fun rides and interactive activities. It’s perfect for families with younger children, but even as adults, we couldn’t help but feel like kids again. Right next door, LEGOLAND Water Park was the perfect way to cool off. The water slides, wave pool, and lazy river kept us busy for hours. My kids loved being able to build their own LEGO raft and float along – such a unique experience! The whole resort itself is beautiful, clean, and well-organised. Riverland is the central area with restaurants, cafés, and shops, and it’s a great place to relax and stroll in the evenings after a full day of fun. Everything about Dubai Parks and Resorts felt magical – from the rides to the food, to the warm and welcoming staff. It’s the perfect mix of fun, adventure, and family time. If you’re in Dubai, this is an absolute must-visit. We’re already talking about going back on our next trip!

I recently visited Dubai Parks and Resorts, and it was a great experience. The place is well-organized with different theme parks like Motiongate, Legoland, and Bollywood Parks, offering something fun for all ages. The Riverland area is also beautiful for walking, dining, and taking photos. I really appreciated that they have clean and well-maintained washrooms and also prayer rooms available, which makes it very convenient for visitors. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything felt safe and family-friendly. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to enjoy a day of fun and entertainment in Dubai.

We spent the day in Motiongate Dubai , and we really had so much fun spending the day in the park. Dragon Gliders ride was one of the best ride in the park .

What to say . We staked at lapida hotel and resorts to being the resorts . Wasted 2 days going to Lego land and the water park . Waste of time . Our expectation from Lego Dubai was at least to match Uk Lego land but it was no thing . Even it is newer but look pale and I will not recommend it. The only nice thing we found is the indoor mini cities .

Amazing place to visit. Full family entertainment. Visited Real Madrid Park. Kids love it specially Activity Area. Food is very expensive and limited options are available.

We had such a lovely time exploring the Mini World display near Dubai Parks and Resorts. While strolling around the beautiful Riverland lake, we unexpectedly found a whole collection of miniature monuments from around the world. From the Eiffel Tower and White House to the Sydney Opera House, Taj Mahal, Burj Khalifa, and so many more all recreated in cute, detailed models. It turned out to be an instant world tour for the kids! In just one hour, they learned about famous landmarks from different countries, asked questions, and excitedly matched the names with what they’ve seen in books. It’s a simple, free, and educational stop that adds so much value to your visit. Highly recommend taking a walk through this area it’s peaceful, scenic, and surprisingly informative for children.

Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital

Sights & Landmarks
Located on Sweihan Road in Al Shamkhah, Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital is the world's largest hospital dedicated solely to falcons. Established in 1999 by the Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi, it offers comprehensive veterinary care services exclusively for these majestic birds. The hospital aims to preserve and protect the health of falcons in the UAE while promoting research and conservation efforts.
Absolutely worth the extra effort to get there. We were the only guests on this tour of a working falcon hospital. The doctors clearly want to share their love of these birds. This is not a tourist trap we spent about 1 1/2 hours on the tour and were able to hold them, and feed the falcons. We came home with a real experience and as many photos as you want to take. There is a small museum of falcon culture, accoutrements, and history. The facility also cares for a limited number of other birds of prey such as owls. Do allow extra time as the taxi driver missed the exit, but the facility has to be far away from power lines to protect the birds in flight.

This was a really cool experience! I wasn’t very familiar with falcons and the connection between UAE and these beautiful birds. Well, let me tell you, after spending 90 min with the staff during their tour, I walked out of there with so much respect and information, memories and things I’ve learned I will never forget! Please go check it out! What a great way to support a great organization that helps and supports so many animals in need! Absolutely beautiful! Totally worth it! Ask for Hassan being your guide!!

This was a highlight of my trip to Ani Dhabi. It's incredible to see close and personal these amazing birds and much more. The tour is fantastic and you'll be able to see what's going on behind the close doors - literally. Everyone was soooo friendly and willing to explain procedures and answer our questions. What a spectacular facility and very, very unique experience. Besides holding and patting the birds, I was able to feed one as well. What a great memories I'll have. Highly highly recommend visiting this place, besides the falcons you'll enjoy the free roaming peacocks as well ;)

highlight of my trip to Abu Dhabi the tour is a must do. So interesring and to see these Falcons up close is amazing. Falcon in the photo is not hurt just sleeping whilst they had their nails cut.

While it may be a bit difficult getting to this attraction with all the road construction in the area, and detours...just allow yourself a little extra time to arrive. The tour of the hospital was really amazing, fun, and informative. It is good for all ages. Seeing these amazing creatures being cared for was insightful. The tour took us about 90 minutes and included an introduction, a chance to see the falcons in the clinic, time to hold a falcon on your gloved arm for a photo, and a visit to see them in an aviary.

I have to say that this place was by far my favourite during my trip to Abu Dhabi! I am big on animal rescue and so I just had to see how falcons are cared for in this country. It’s safe to say that they’re in great hands and the facility here is top notch! We signed up for the tour around the hospital and since we visited during a weekday, it was just us and so it was basically a private tour which was awesome. Our tour guide was the best and he was super funny. We had the best time with him and he definitely made us feel welcomed! We were able to see them do a routine procedure as well as hold the falcon ourselves. They even let us feed one of them which was such a memorable experience! Definitely a must visit!

Disheartening Experience with My Cat at Falcon Hospital Abu Dhabi❤️‍🩹 I recently took my cat, Costica, to the Falcon Hospital Abu Dhabi for boarding, and it turned out to be a nightmare. I entrusted them with simple tasks—nail trimming and ear cleaning—but somehow, during these seemingly minor procedures, my cat had a heart attack and tragically passed away. I’m heartbroken and completely baffled by how such small, routine actions could cause this level of stress and result in DEATH. Costica was a healthy cat when I brought him in, and I never expected something so devastating from what should have been a straightforward service. How can a place that is supposed to specialize in animal care allow such extreme stress to be placed on an animal? It’s hard to comprehend how this was even possible. The experience has left me questioning the hospital’s methods and their ability to handle sensitive animals. It was extremely painful to see my cat in distress, and even more so to know it could have been avoided. I hope this review serves as a cautionary tale for other pet owners.

When I told them I found 2 days old cat they rejected to receive it and provide necessary medication but if I lied and told them this my new born cat and I need to deliver it because of relocation they would accept my request. The cat was found helpless and I don't know how to take care of it so I decided to bring it to them but they shocked me when they said this not acceptable....the Philippino lady at counter and she said return it back to street her mother will come back to it however I explained it was found in cabbage drum under dirty bags and I rescued it .

Emirates Park Zoo and Resort is a captivating destination in the UAE, offering an array of educational and entertaining experiences. Visitors can engage in animal feeding sessions, watch captivating animal shows, and partake in thrilling activities such as ziplining and car adventures. The zoo boasts a diverse range of wildlife, providing guests with opportunities to interact with farm animals as well as exotic species. For those seeking a more leisurely experience, the Arabian Wildlife Park and Al Ain Zoo offer unparalleled wildlife encounters.
If you’re a zoo person like us, Emirates Park Zoo is a great spot for a quick escape to reconnect with nature and animals. As part of our grounding and way to unwind, we truly enjoyed the short trip.. even though it was a bit hot during our visit. The zoo is relatively small, but it’s well-suited for kids and teens who are curious about animals and want to learn how to care for them properly. There are scheduled live shows with the animals, which add a fun and educational element to the experience. The place is clean, well-maintained, and sanitized, which we really appreciated. Overall, a nice visit if you’re looking for something wholesome and family-friendly!

It was a memorable stay. Great place to visit specially with your small ones . Kids enjoyed a lot. Well organized and maintained zoo and amenities. Great hospitality by the hotel staff. Special thanks for the room upgrade. Only one thing I felt needs improvement is the parking. It will be great if the hotel has a separate parking space for its guests. Definitely worth visiting ❤️❤️❤️

We recently enjoyed a fantastic staycation that included complimentary tickets to the zoo, and it turned out to be a perfect getaway! The accommodation was comfortable and relaxing, offering a much needed break from the daily routine. The highlight was definitely the zoo visit. It was well organized, family friendly, and full of exciting animal encounters. From majestic lions to playful monkeys, every moment was engaging and memorable. The free tickets were a thoughtful touch that added great value to the overall experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind without traveling far this staycation offers both relaxation and adventure in one package.

We had a great time at Emirates Park Zoo! The kids especially loved it — such a fun and engaging experience for the whole family. The Explorer ticket offer (Buy 1 Get 1 Free) was a bonus, and we reached around 4 PM so there was no queue, which made everything smoother. The feeding experience was the cherry on top — truly memorable for the kids. While feeding was included, we were charged AED 15 for the feeding packet, which wasn’t mentioned beforehand, so that could’ve been clearer. The zoo has both indoor and outdoor areas. It was a bit hot outside but still manageable in the evening hours. Indoor areas helped beat the heat. Overall, animals seemed well cared for, and the presentation included in the ticket was informative and fun. Highly recommended for families with young children!

We were looking for an alternative to the usual beach resorts we visit in the UAE for my husband’s birthday, and we found a great deal on Agoda for Emirates Park Zoo. There was a small issue during booking because I added 2 kids, but the confirmation only showed 2 adults. After sending the confirmation to the Emirates Park Zoo team and explaining the situation, they were extremely kind and gave my kids complimentary access — we only had to pay for their breakfast. The moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely Kupila at the front desk. She was so friendly and gave us the perfect first impression. They even prepared a sweet birthday surprise for my husband! Our room was right next to the giraffe enclosure, which made the whole stay feel magical — like we weren’t even in the UAE. We had such a fantastic time exploring the zoo, and the kids absolutely loved the swimming pool. Breakfast was lovely, and the à la carte food menu was surprisingly affordable. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would definitely love to come back!

Yas Marina Circuit is a versatile venue that hosts Formula 1 events and offers amateur driving programs, as well as a go-kart track and fitness events. It's part of an entertainment hub that includes attractions like Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi, Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld, Bounce Abu Dhabi, CLYMB, and the Abu Dhabi Ice Rink.
We had an incredible experience on the Yas Marina Circuit tour. As an F1 fan, this was an absolute must do. The tour was well organized, and the guide was knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the track, its history, and what goes on behind the scenes. The highlight of the visit was witnessing a car in action on the circuit, a rare and thrilling bonus that made the experience even more special. Walking through the paddock, pit lane, team villa and race control gave a real sense of what race weekend feels like. If you’re passionate about motorsports, this tour is well worth it. Seeing one of the world’s most iconic circuits up close is an unforgettable experience.

Attended the F1 race at Yas Marina Circuit, and it was an absolutely unreal experience! The atmosphere was electric, with fans from all over the world cheering and enjoying the race. The track itself is stunning, especially at night when the lights reflect off the water, definitely one of the most beautiful circuits in F1. The organization was great, with clear signs and helpful staff guiding people to their seats. The grandstands had an amazing view of the track, and the giant screens made sure we didn’t miss any action. The sound of the cars flying past was insane! There were plenty of food stalls with a good variety of options, though some were a bit pricey (expected at an F1 event). The toilets were clean and well-maintained, which was a big plus considering the massive crowd. One of the best parts was the post race entertainment! The concerts and fireworks made the experience even better. If you’re an F1 fan, Yas Marina Circuit is a must visit. The vibe, the track, and the overall experience are something you’ll never forget!

Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi is absolutely incredible! I had the chance to attend an F1 race here a while back, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The thrill of the races, the electric atmosphere, and the world-class facilities made it truly spectacular. After the race, there was a concert at night which added even more excitement to the day — such a great mix of motorsport and entertainment! The food options around the venue and also the freely available buffet at the East wing lounge was excellent, with plenty of variety and great quality. To top it all off, we even tried go-karting on-site, which was so much fun and made the visit even more memorable. Whether you're a motorsport fan or just looking for an exciting day out, Yas Marina Circuit delivers on every level. Highly recommended!

Booked a two hour tour of the circuit. Some very interesting "behind the scenes" access. The guide information was basic for a F1 enthusiast and some questions could not be answered (eg - Shropshire, UK is where the track material derived from). The tour also involves a bus to get around, this takes up circa 20-30 minutes of the tour. All in all, I would recommend the tour simply for the access. NOTE: We were not allowed near/on the track due to testing of a driverless car. It would have been nice if the booking system could have confirmed access - very disappointing.

Ferrari World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi is a motor racing-themed complex featuring thrilling rides, driving simulators, and a car factory tour. It's located approximately 34.5 km from attractions like the Louvre Abu Dhabi and the Grand Mosque. The park boasts nearly 40 different rides and attractions adorned in the iconic red and yellow colors of Ferrari.
Ferrari World is a dream destination for anyone who loves speed, thrills, and pure adventure. The moment you enter, the energy of the place hits you — everything is grand, exciting, and beautifully themed around Ferrari. The roller coaster rides are the real highlight. Formula Rossa, the world’s fastest roller coaster, is an absolutely insane experience — the speed, the launch, the adrenaline… it’s something you will remember forever. Even the other rides like Flying Aces and Turbo Track deliver nonstop excitement with big drops, loops, and heart-pounding moments. The park is clean, well-organized, and the staff is super friendly. There are great shows, kid-friendly zones, and plenty of food options to relax between rides. Whether you’re with friends or family, the adventure level here is unmatched.

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi – A Thrilling Day in the Fast Lane 🏎️✨ If you’re planning a trip to Abu Dhabi and love speed, adventure, and world-class experiences, Ferrari World absolutely deserves a spot on your itinerary. Located on Yas Island, this indoor theme park is a celebration of the legendary Ferrari brand — from high-octane rides to immersive simulators that make you feel like a Formula 1 driver. From the moment you step inside, everything is incredibly well-organized. The staff are friendly, professional, and always happy to help, which makes the whole experience seamless and stress-free. Tickets & Tips I’d highly recommend the 5 Rides + 1 Ferrari Photo package for around 250 AED. It’s great value and gives you plenty of time to explore the park without rushing. Your ticket also includes access to the driving simulators — an absolute must-try! They provide an unbelievably realistic feel of Ferrari car handling, letting you experience the thrill of the track in total safety. The Rides Ferrari World is home to some of the fastest and most creative roller coasters in the world, and each one is designed to push your adrenaline to new limits. Unfortunately, the park’s longest coaster is currently closed for an indefinite period, but there are still plenty of other attractions that more than make up for it. One thing I appreciated was how well-equipped each ride area is — you’ll find secure storage spaces for your belongings before boarding, so you can enjoy the experience worry-free. Final Thoughts Whether you’re a motorsport enthusiast or just looking for an unforgettable day out, Ferrari World delivers in every way. It combines Italian passion, precision engineering, and pure fun under one iconic red roof. A definite tick on the bucket list — and one I’d happily check off again! 🇮🇹🏁

We recently visited Ferrari World Abu Dhabi to celebrate my son’s birthday, and the experience was memorable. Special thanks to Jasim and Madani, who went out of their way to make the day extra special. They surprised my son with thoughtful gifts like Ferrari car keychains, which made him really happy. Their effort and hospitality truly stood out, and overall the staff across the park were very welcoming and supportive. For the rides, my wife and I had a fantastic time on Formula Rossa and Flying Aces — both absolutely thrilling and must-try experiences for adults. The park is clean, well-managed, and has a great atmosphere that adds to the excitement. That said, I do want to share one observation. My son is 99 cm tall, and unfortunately, he only qualified for 2 rides out of more than 25. Despite this, we had to pay AED 305 for his entry. This feels quite expensive and a bit unfair. A height-based pricing model — similar to IMG Worlds — would make much more sense than age-based pricing. For families with young children, the current system feels unjustified. Overall, we had a very good experience, especially thanks to the staff and the amazing rides. But I strongly hope Ferrari World reviews its pricing policy to make it fairer for families with smaller kids.

Ferrari World is a great spot if you’re into cars, especially if you love Ferraris or have even a little interest in automotive engineering. The main highlight is the fastest roller coaster, which really lives up to the hype. Just be prepared for a long wait because the queue moves slowly, and you can easily spend hours waiting for a ride that lasts under two minutes. One thing to note is that the seats on the major rides aren’t very accommodating for bigger body types, which can be disappointing if you find out at the last minute that the harness doesn’t fit. Overall, the park is exciting and well themed, but it’s good to go in with the right expectations.

Visited Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and it was a fantastic experience overall! The world’s fastest roller coaster is truly something else absolutely thrilling! The Flying Aces ride was also top-notch and easily one of the best I’ve tried. Unfortunately, the Mission Ferrari ride was closed that day, but there were still plenty of great attractions to enjoy. The entire park being indoors was a big plus comfortably cool inside while it’s scorching hot outside. The roof-top walk was another highlight with stunning views over Yas Island and perfect photo spots. Special mention to the staff from Kyrgyzstan at the Ferrari Store his service was exceptional, friendly, and truly memorable. Now, a few downsides: some rides were temporarily closed for maintenance during our visit, which was a bit of a bummer. Also, a few of the rides and games didn’t quite fit the Ferrari theme could’ve been tied together a bit better. Still, it’s definitely a must visit place especially for thrill seekers and Ferrari fans alike!

We went to celebrate our son’s birthday, and wow — what an unforgettable day! 🎉 The whole experience was packed with fun, excitement, and surprises from start to finish. The staff were friendly and made us feel special, especially knowing it was a birthday celebration. Even though we skipped the extreme rides, there was still so much to enjoy — from the family-friendly attractions and interactive games to the amazing Ferrari-themed shows and displays. 🏎️✨ The park is spotless, well-organized, and perfect for families. Our son had the best time ever — he couldn’t stop smiling! 🥳 It was the perfect place to celebrate, and we’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Abu Dhabi with kids or looking for a unique family adventure! ❤️

The entire park is beautifully designed, offering a perfect mix of entertainment, education, and marine wonder. From the moment you enter, you’re surrounded by fascinating exhibits and interactive experiences that bring the ocean to life. The penguin section is a definite highlight — it’s incredibly fun to see these adorable creatures up close. Just be prepared, it’s freezing inside! The icy temperature makes the experience feel authentic and adds to the charm. Another standout feature is the dolphin show, which is truly mesmerizing. The dolphins perform with such elegance and intelligence that you can’t help but be amazed. However, the show only takes place at 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM, so plan your visit carefully to avoid missing it. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is a stunning architectural marvel located in Abu Dhabi. It boasts 82 white domes of various sizes, making it one of the largest mosques globally. The mosque, constructed between 1996 and 2007, is made of white marble and features four minarets that stand over 100 meters tall.
Step into a world of awe at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, where pristine white marble, colossal columns, and shimmering chandeliers evoke pure tranquility. Begin at the underground mall, which offers both shopping and a quiet moment before your visit. For a unique approach, follow the pedestrian tunnel under the main road to the mosque entrance (a surprisingly modern intro to such a classical monument!). Once inside, marvel at the intricate floral mosaics and gold-tipped domes; even on a sunny day, the cool interiors and soft natural light are serene. Did you know the main prayer hall hosts one of the world’s largest hand-knotted carpets? Also, its chandelier—crafted in Germany—features Swarovski crystals; both are exquisite yet little known outside guidebooks! Must-do: Wander through the reflective pools at the mosque’s perimeter—catch the sunlight glimmering across the arches for an insta-worthy shot with nature and architecture in perfect harmony. Indoors, the “forest” of columns laced with amethyst and jasper makes for an iconic photo, while the main hall offers endless patterns for architectural close-ups. Tips: Dress respectfully—borrowed abayas and kanduras are available on site. Visit early to avoid crowds, especially before the afternoon prayer on Fridays when access may be limited. Watch for sudden weather: The transition between sunny and rainy can be striking against the mosque’s bright silhouette.

A breathtaking and peaceful place with stunning white architecture and beautiful details. Very clean, well organized, and perfect for photos. Going in a buggy is also a wonderful experience and great for taking good videos while approaching the mosque. A must-visit landmark in the UAE! 🕌✨

Every visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque feels extraordinary. No matter how many times I’ve been, walking through the grounds still feels almost unreal, the stillness, the scale, the craftsmanship and detail in every direction. It’s one of those places that completely slows you down and leaves you in awe. A tip for first-timers: it’s absolutely worth paying for the proper Abaya attire from the mall before entering. It makes the experience smoother and more comfortable. And definitely bring a selfie stand/tripod, it’s incredibly useful if you’re solo, as a couple, or with family, especially given how many stunning angles there are throughout the mosque. Finally, most importantly, please register on the website beforehand. Truly a must-visit in the UAE, and a place that’s unforgettable every single time.

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is truly a breathtaking place — a perfect blend of spirituality, art, and architecture. The white marble, intricate carvings, and massive chandeliers create a stunning visual experience, especially during sunset and night lighting. The mosque is well-organized with a very helpful visitor center, guided tours, and respectful staff who explain the cultural and religious importance. Whether you’re visiting for prayer or as a tourist, the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and welcoming. A must-see landmark that reflects the beauty, culture, and hospitality of the UAE. • Stunning design and architecture • Organized entry and facilities • Free guided tours • Beautiful at sunset & night • Suitable for all visitors (Muslims & non-Muslims)

This is an absolutely visually stunning mosque on the grandest scale, accessing the mosque is a hike in itself. It's a fair old walk from the parking lot, through part of a shopping mall, then an underground corridor with moving walkways and escalators. We were very fortunate to visit late afternoon and see the mosque change as the sunset. The amount of white marble used here and the ornate detail is mind-blowing! The atmosphere inside is calming and peaceful, the prayer room carpet is apparently made in one piece! I was told 41,000 people can pray at any one time! Allow a couple of hours for your visit, I hope you can be as lucky as we were regarding the timing of your visit!

History Museums
Louvre Abu Dhabi is an innovative museum located in the United Arab Emirates capital, surrounded by water and featuring a diverse collection of ancient to modern art pieces. Visitors can enjoy kayaking and relax at the on-site cafe. The museum, designed by Jean Nouvel, opened at the end of 2017 and has since become a cultural hotspot in Abu Dhabi.
Very beautiful museum and one of the highlights of Abu Dhabi. Opened in November 2017, it is the first museum of its kind in the Arab world, created through a cultural partnership between France and the UAE. Its mission is to showcase the shared story of human creativity across civilizations, highlighting how cultures have always interacted, connected, and influenced one another. Designed by the renowned architect Jean Nouvel, the museum is famous for its spectacular silver dome, inspired by the traditional Arabian mashrabiyya. The dome weighs around 7,500 tons and Its intricate geometric pattern creates a stunning “rain of light” effect as sunlight filters through the lattice. The building appears to float on water, blending modern engineering with cultural symbolism. Louvre Abu Dhabi departs from the traditional separation of cultures. Instead, it presents world history through themes, displaying pieces from different civilizations side-by-side to highlight shared human experiences. Examples: - Ancient Egyptian statues next to early Greek artworks. - Chinese ceramics displayed with Middle Eastern pottery. - Religious manuscripts from Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and Buddhism shown together. The museum features: - Permanent galleries with artworks spanning thousands of years, from prehistoric tools to modern masterpieces. - Rotating international exhibitions in collaboration with French museums, including the Louvre, Musée d’Orsay, Centre Pompidou, and others. - Over 600 permanent artworks, supplemented by hundreds of loans from French institutions. It was overall a very nice, entertaining and educational time spent here.

Absolutely splendid, the journey was beyond my expectations. We start with the tickets. Very affordable, you can get a discount simply by being a UAE resident. You still have the Fazaa discount as well. The museum itself is a piece of art, the architechture is mind-blowing, you could admire it for hours. I know that Louvre love to make wonderful architectures for their museums, with the one in Paris that i visited few yeras back, but this one in AUH is really eye-catching. The galleries were fascinating, from prehistoric stones, to the modern arts i really enjoyed it. To all art enthusiasts, i would really recommend to check it out, you will not forget that experience.

The Louvre Abu Dhabi is an extraordinary place that combines art, culture, and architecture in an absolutely stunning way. The building itself, designed by Jean Nouvel, is truly impressive – its distinctive dome creates a magical interplay of light and shadow, reminiscent of a "rain of light." The museum's interior houses an impressive collection of art from around the world – from antiquity to the present – beautifully juxtaposed to showcase humanity's shared heritage. The service and organization are top-notch, and the atmosphere fosters reflection and wonder. This is not just a museum, but a true journey through the history of art and cultures. An absolute must-see in Abu Dhabi! 🏛️✨🎨

Louvre Abu Dhabi is truly a masterpiece of art, culture, and architecture. 🌟 Set on Saadiyat Island, it stands as a symbol of creativity and unity, bringing together masterpieces from around the world under one stunning dome of light. The museum’s breathtaking design by Jean Nouvel perfectly blends modern innovation with traditional Arabic inspiration, creating a serene atmosphere that feels both timeless and futuristic. Inside, every gallery tells a story — from ancient civilizations to contemporary art — celebrating the shared human experience through beauty and knowledge. Whether you’re an art lover or simply curious, Louvre Abu Dhabi offers an unforgettable journey through history, culture, and imagination.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a wonderful experience at the Louvre Abu Dhabi! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive — my mom wasn’t feeling well and couldn’t walk for long, and they immediately offered a wheelchair without us even asking. It made such a difference and allowed us to enjoy the museum comfortably and see all the beautiful collections. I also loved that the museum has its own app — you can listen for free to detailed stories and history about the main artifacts, and it’s available in multiple languages. Super informative and helpful! Definitely worth visiting again. Beautiful place, amazing service, and a very thoughtful experience overall! There is Fazaa card discount so you can get the tickets at the same time!
Tatti L — Google review
It is a beautiful museum and much larger that I thought. I was impressed that they managed to do thematic themes and chronological themes at the same time. Normally I only prefer an chronological exhibition. I also like that the museum has borrow objects from French museum and museums in the Golf and the Middle East to supplement their own collection. The museum consists of a beautiful roof and many buildings underneath the roof - so it does not feel so warm even when it is a 40⁹ day. There is a nice museum shop, a cafe, a restaurant and some places to have a coffee or a soda. And there is also a sea turtle sanctuary at the museum area. I spent two hours at the museum.
Mette K — Google review
Great museum with lots of exhibitions. We enjoyed the displays while we enjoyed the cool air conditions on a somewhat hot day. The museum has the infrastructure to take pictures if that is something you would enjoy. We spent about two hours and was enough to walk all the displays.

Located near Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi, Emirates Heritage Village is a reconstructed Arab village run by the Emirates Heritage Club. It offers visitors a glimpse into traditional Emirati culture and lifestyle before the discovery of oil in the region. The village showcases the Bedouin way of life with traditional tents, coffee, and displays of the Falaj irrigation system used for palm grove irrigation. With regular events and exhibitions, it's a popular destination for those interested in experiencing authentic Emirati heritage.
Despite the July heat, I loved walking around this place. The indoor exhibitions are excellent, offering great insight into Emirati history, traditions, and culture. We were warmly welcomed by two Emirati women in traditional dresses who offered us delicious tea, coffee, and dates grown in the heritage village's garden. An African woman, who was also working there, was incredibly patient and educated, answering all our questions about Emirati traditions in English. This place is a must-visit, especially since entry is free.

Nestled on the 74th floor of the iconic Etihad Towers, the Observation Deck at 300 offers an unparalleled experience for visitors seeking breathtaking views of Abu Dhabi. Standing at a remarkable height of 300 meters, this observation point provides a stunning 360-degree panorama that encompasses the city's skyline, the picturesque Corniche, and the shimmering Arabian Gulf. It's not just about the views; guests can indulge in a delightful afternoon tea while soaking in the luxurious atmosphere.
The third must-see place in Abu Dhabi. If the weather is nice, the view is spectacular. Unfortunately, it wasn't as nice for me. Pollution takes its toll here. It's a shame you can't go outside. At the top, you can grab a coffee and a snack. Overall, I recommend it.

A nice spot for tourists. The Observation Deck is at a height of 300 metres , on the 74th Floor of Etihad Towers ( Tower 2 which houses many residential apartments too). It is a circular doughnut shaped glazed Lounge with the elevators in the centre, providing a 360 degree breathtaking views of the islands of this beautiful city of Abu Dhabi Emirate. Ample seating arrangements exist with a small cafeteria counter. You can spend about an hour or more easily. Fee is 50 AED per head and free for kids below 12. Free Valet parking is available. Avail the free briefing about this building from the Receptionist at the ground floor before going up in the lift. If you go in the evenings, can enjoy watching the setting sun in the ocean. Children would love the experience.

An agreeable locale for sightseers. The Observation Deck is perched at an altitude of 300 meters, on the 74th Floor of Etihad Towers (Tower 2, which also accommodates numerous residential dwellings). It's a circular, doughnut-formed, glass-enclosed Lounge with the elevators centrally located, affording panoramic, awe-inspiring vistas of the isles of this gorgeous city within the Abu Dhabi Emirate. Plentiful seating options are present, along with a compact refreshment stand. One could readily while away an hour or longer. The admission charge is 50 AED per person and complimentary for children under 12. Complimentary valet parking is offered. Take advantage of the complimentary introduction concerning this edifice from the Receptionist on the ground floor prior to ascending in the elevator. If visiting in the late afternoon, one can relish observing the sun setting into the sea. The experience will captivate youngsters.

Very nice ambience. The receptionist in observatory is very professional and she explain everything to us. We will comeback for sure. Because we went there late and it's dark outside we didn't see much view. The staff is very friendly, professional and accomodating. Especial thanks to Ms. Aida for accomodating us. Such a professional staff and she's always smiling too. What a great experience. I'll give five star for this.

🌟 A Must-Visit Gem in Abu Dhabi! 🌟 The Observation Deck at 300 is absolutely breathtaking! The panoramic view from the top is nothing short of spectacular — you can see the entire Abu Dhabi skyline, the sparkling coastline, and even the Emirates Palace from a whole new perspective. It’s the perfect spot for stunning photos and unforgettable memories. What truly made the experience stand out was the staff. From the entrance downstairs to the team up at the deck, everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming. Their warm hospitality made the visit feel even more special. The only downside? The café prices are definitely on the higher side — a bit more than expected, even for such a premium location. Still, sipping a coffee while overlooking the city is a unique experience that might just be worth the splurge. All in all, an unforgettable visit. Highly recommended for first-timers and locals alike! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆
Alexander W — Google review
Very disappointing experience at Observation Deck 300, Conrad Etihad Towers I had a very disappointing experience at the Observation Deck 300. I called around 3:00 PM to ask if I needed to make a reservation, and the person on the phone told me it’s a walk-in venue, not busy, and that no booking was needed. They never mentioned that seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. I arrived around 4:00 PM, planning to spend about an hour and a half enjoying the view with my guest who came from outside Abu Dhabi especially for this visit. However, when I arrived, the lady at the reception said there were no available tables and that I could only go up to see the view without being seated. After I explained that I had called in advance and that a proper table was important for the experience, she said she would check and offered me a table near the TV — not by the window and definitely not with a view. When I asked to see it, she only showed me a photo, and it was clearly unsuitable. I decided to skip dining and just visit the deck, but once I went up, I was surprised to see several empty tables available. The bigger disappointment, however, was the view itself — the glass was dirty and completely ruined the experience. Overall, from the reception to the deck, the experience was extremely disappointing and not worth the effort. It’s a shame because this place has great potential as a major tourist spot in Abu Dhabi, but poor management and lack of maintenance make it fall short. Definitely not an experience I would repeat or recommend. Attached some pictures.

The service was fantastic, and the snacks and drinks added a lovely touch to the experience.

Visited Marina Mall and really liked the ceiling lighting as it gives a nice ambiance. The tinted glass elevator was a highlight, offering a scenic ride with views. However, parking was a bit inconvenient as I had to park outside in the sun; couldn’t find any basement parking. Overall, a decent place for relaxed shopping and a quick visit, but could use some upgrades in amenities and signage.

Great place! If I would do it once again, I would take some food for a picnic and stay there for the whole day. The beach is very good and even in winter you can swim there. The ground is also good, thus, you do not need special shoes. It is possible to come there using Google maps of course only with four wheel drive vehicle. There is a street without that much sand. This is a nice LITTLE Aqua park. There isn’t much there. I paid a more discounted fee as there was an offer on the day we went. For young children it was a day of fun, but to be fair there’s not much there to do. The staff were very helpful, as I didn’t print my ticket, the took the booking number. There are 4 big water features and several pools. The main ones are the pirate area, the slide and the boat slide (how many times can you go on those before the novelty wares off). A water path, where you sit in an inflatable and travel around the path. There is also a swimming pool with a wave machine which, was on only twice in the 5 hrs we were there!! The pool was enjoyable and there are clean facilities. We did have a nice day, however it’s not a nice lace we’ll be running back to in a hurry. You cannot bring coolers into the park to have a picnic, we discovered this when we were leaving, when someone had theirs taken away.

التغدية الراجعة بالعربي في الأسفل In total Bad Experience: - Tickets are very expensive and does not include all areas. - Food is over priced (one resturant sell one burger 40 Riyals!!), cheese pizza price is ok 35 QAR. - The water is very cold in the kids pool while the adults pool is not that cold, not sure if they can Control the water temperature. - It is not very clean, when you pay 480 QAR for small family you expect to see something that more clean (please see some pictures). - It is not very green (less grass and no trees in some areas of the park), removing trees caused to show the white building that was hidden with the trees (please see the picture). - With the white building in the left side of the park; how can women's take off their clothes (we are muslims, and any one living in the building can take photos from the roof of the building!!)

The size of this museum and the shear number of artifacts is amazing. Exhibits cover an amazing array of world history. Truly one of the largest private museum's in the world, the collection is Smithsonian quality.

Must visit place if you're a car guy! This place have a lot of things like fossils, stones, remains of old structures, ammunitions, attires, jewelry, sports etc. But the most interesting thing was the massive collection of cars. Not just cars, there are trucks, vans, and even a plane! The cars were of different brands including Porsche,Lamborghini, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Cadillac,Pontiac, Chevy,Dodge,Jeep,Willys,Mercedes, BMW,Audi,Subaru,Nissan,Toyota,Honda, and the list goes on and on. The museum is situated right behind the Leaning Minaret. They have some expansion works going on now,so probably much more collections will be available soon. Try to come in the morning or early in the afternoon,as it will take some time to explore all of it. Also, there's a farm and horse riding club nearby, which closes by 5pm.

Nestled within a private estate on the outskirts of Doha, the FBQ Museum offers a truly unique and enriching experience. This privately owned museum, established by Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani, is a remarkable reflection of his personal passion for history, culture, and heritage. One of its most iconic features is a historic mosque with a leaning minaret located adjacent to the museum—an architectural curiosity that adds to the charm of the estate. The museum itself houses a diverse and thoughtfully curated collection spread across several halls. A highlight is the Qur’an section, which showcases exquisite handwritten manuscripts and rare copies, offering a spiritual and artistic journey through Islamic calligraphy and scriptural history. Another standout exhibit is the authentic Syrian house, meticulously transported from Damascus and reconstructed brick by brick inside the museum grounds. It offers a rare glimpse into traditional Damascene architecture and home life from over a century ago. The museum also features an impressive collection of vintage cars and trucks, tracing the evolution of automotive design and transport through the decades. A significant portion of the collection reflects the Sheikh’s deep appreciation for Moroccan culture, with numerous artifacts, crafts, and items sourced from Morocco on display. From intricately carved doors to traditional garments and ceramics, this section offers a vivid taste of North African heritage. Overall, the FBQ Museum is well worth an afternoon visit for families, culture lovers, and curious minds alike. It combines history, religion, architecture, and automotive passion all in one serene and beautifully maintained setting. • Entry ticket: 50 QAR • Children: Free entry • Location: Al Samriya Estate, ~30 minutes drive west of Doha • Facilities: Guided tours available, on-site café, and ample parking
