I thought a very nice business idea to set the mood of tourists well disposed towards the cruise company. Returned after about an hour's cruise. During the cruise there was loud music from Indian movies people were dancing and enjoying noisily and thoroughly. Hardly anyone looked out at the scenery nor enjoyed the calm and serene atmosphere on the waters of sea of Galilee, Felt sad at missed opportunity.

A must visit in Damascus. For women, make sure to bring your own Abaya to wear before entering and praying at the mosque.

So much history and beautiful architecture. Was not busy when I visited. I could walk around and enjoy the art.

This is such a different, beautiful mosque with a long history - a mix of Persian and Ottoman detailing, so quite different from the blue ceramic tiling you see in other mosques. The courtyard and minaret are breathtaking. The inside is very spacious as well and can accommodate lots of visitors and prayers. Females are given brown cloaks to wear.

Gorgeous location, despite not spotting many birds at this time. A wonderful place to picnic and spend the day. A golf cart is recommended around the track, but bare in mind it has to be returned within 1.5h.

A unique place for cycling and hiking

It's perfect at all seasons. If you rent binoculars or have an amazing camera,you can spot amazing creatures nearby.

Very peaceful not a lot of ppl on a Thursday afternoon. there were some birds to watch, though its out of season (june). A lot of nutrias, donkeys and gamus. Enterece is free, and its possible to rent an electric car or bike. I used my electric skateboard and the route was very smooth. Beautiful sunset and everything is very green.

Very interesting and worthwhile place to visit in Spring or Fall. Here's some background: When the State of Israel was declared in 1948 the Hula valley was a swamp plagued by malaria. In 1951 an extensive engineering project drained the swamp in order to enable agriculture. The swamp became a flourishing region with settlements, orchards, fish ponds and other crops. In 1995 1,000 dunams of land in the Hula valley was reflooded. The valley is located on the Syrian-African rift and today is visited by 500 million birds of 390 species in spring and fall. You can see the birds there, as they migrate from Europe to Africa and back, 15,000 of the 35,000 cranes spend the winter in the Hula park. This has made the area an internationally acclaimed area for bird watchers. The nature reserve is named after the Hebrew word for the sea bulrush found here, Agamon Hahula. This is the nothernmost point in the world where they're located. In addition to the birds there are interesting plants and animals. I saw a Coypu (Natria)- semi acquatic rodent. Some endangered species have been reintroduced. Entrance to the Hula Agamon is free. There is a 10km paved trail that goes around the area. Bicycles and golf carts are available for hire, and there are also guided tours. I knew that the main migration season was over when I dragged myself out of bed on a gray and dreary day to drive up North to the Agamon Hahula. Upon arrival it transpired that the next guided tour would be in 3 hours time and we didn't want to wait. We opted to hike the trail and I am pleased that we did because we would have missed some of the things we saw like the Ibis and Coypu. We heard a lot of birds and saw some, particularly cranes and Hoepoe birds. I am sure there are many more in migration season. We found an abundance of fruit like mulberries and figs. As we reached our car after the hike it started to rain!

If you are a bird fan, thats one of the best places in Israel for birds watching, migrating birds from Africa to Europe and back, mostly water fowls stop here to rest before continuing their journey

A real treasure of the nature in the land of Israel. From above, you only (hardly) see a green line on dry volcanic hills. But as you come up and descend to a narrow canyon, you find yourself in a rain forest, with huge trees, lians, waterfalls, and traces of wild creatures. Indiana Jones themed park? No, it's real.

The stream is beautiful, majestic even. The waters are clear and the trail is very nice. However, you cannot enter it at the main site to swim, so if you’d like to swim you should visit the Syrian tank site next to the main reserve

Absolutely stunning! The beauty of the north in all its glory, amazing scenery, fresh cool water, a dazzling waterfall, very well preserved, rich historical background, and many more things to enjoy... This is a trail you owe yourself to visit at least once, suitable for the whole family. The choices of trails vary from half an hour, up to 3 hours total. Very highly recommend!

love the place! I would recommend coming sometime in early spring because then all the flowers bloom and its just really beautiful! There are several places to take pictures and breaks, and the way the hike is built is immaculate. In conclusion, 5/5 would totally go again!

Beautiful and very different in our landscape. It's reserved also very well. Great for families as there are also short and long routes. Due to the Corona you need to reserve in advance your visit, inside its not crowded at all. There are two sites to visit, going between is by car or hiking within the reserve.

Beautiful parks setting. Places to picnic. Unique location of a cave shrine to the Greek god Pan. It's fascinating that Jesus chose this place to tell his disciples who He was, that he would build His church on "this rock", meaning Himself as Jesus, and the gates of hell would not prevail against it. As such, the pagan people beloved at that time that this location was an entrance to hades because of the seemingly bottomless pool of water in Pan's cave.

This place is great! I'll start with the downside - there are many stairs to go down and then up. If you are old or disabled that might be a problem. Otherwise it is great fun. Most of the walk is near the gushing water, in the shade, with nature all around. And there are also platforms right over the water that yoi can stand on and be really close to the stream. It was great for me, my wife and 2 children, ages 1.5 and 4.5.

It's a must see for Christians and general public. However it is isolated in the middle of Nazareth which is currently suffering from bad management and disfunctual city services. Hopefully the city will improve and this beautiful site will shine again. Don't forget to bring something to cover the shoulders as respect to the holy site.

In my opinion, one of the most impressive and amazing churches in the world. The visit to the Church of the Annunciation is powerful and interesting, the structure is amazing. The church was established at the site where, according to one tradition, the Annunciation took place. The church has a variety of works of art in different styles from all over the world.

Beautiful, amazing, spiritual and peaceful place! As a Catholic being able to visit the place where The annunciation happened to the Virgin Mary was a simply wonderful and religious experience. The church is beautiful, on the exterior you can see images of the Virgin Mary for all different countries, worth to enjoy each one of them.

One can light up an electric candle 🕯in this church - I really liked this idea as I believe that it is more friendly to the environment. Another thing that I liked is an alley with the paintings and mosaics to the church from all over the world 🌎 One can find donations from the South America, India, and my homeland Ukraine 🇺🇦 It feels really good to find things related to your country when you are that far from it, especially when your country is under attack from the terrorist russian state. If you plan your visit in advance, I also recommend to bring coins and cash for the donations to support the church.

Basilica of the Annunciation Nazareth, also known as The Catholic Church of the Annunciation, is the most impressive and spectacular site in the city and is considered to be one of the most holy churches for Christianity. Basilica of the Annunciation an outstanding building in the center of town, is built where it’s believed the house the Virgin Mary was. On the lower level is the most holy place – Mary’s cave, the cave in which, according to the Catholic-Christian tradition, Mary was visited by Archangel Gabriel and told her she is destined to carry Jesus in her womb.

a very special place with unique story. the church itself quite new and was built upon the ruins of the origins of st. mary...many illustrations from around the world were sent here for display and you sense that this is a piece of history. there is no entrance fee and many pilgrims come here for spiritual charging.

The most impressive church I’ve ever seen. It is modern, huge, tho it still preserve the old trails from Jesus’s time. Also, in the church’s yard, there are icons from all around the world, and it’s interesting to see different cultures picturing the holy family in their own way. You can visit the church for free, there is no fee.

The rooftop provides a good view to Nazareth. Worth the visit to get some valuable historical insights on Nazareth as well.

Been there saw it from outside. Very close to the nazereth old market. Looks like an impressing house. Next time we'll come in the open hr's to visit.

I visited the center awhile back and wanted to write a review to encourage others to visit. An excellent multimedia biblical movie, a stunning presentation. Visiting the center was absolutely worthwhile (which is opposite the Basilica of the Annunciation of Mary). A very informative and beautiful experience. A must see!

A must visit place for tourists here in Nazareth. It's just right across the street to the Church Of The Annunciation. I'd recommend everyone to watch all 04 (15 minutes each) video clips in 04 different theaters before walking all the way up to the top level where you'll have a wonderful view of Nazareth from the above.

The Maria story is a must see, astonishing multimedia experience and powerful message.

The chapel is beautiful, and the people are too. Come for a coffee, quiet prayer, or an informative tour/multimedia show about the life of Mary of Nazareth. One of my favorite places in all of Nazareth.

The French community of the "Chemin Neuf" (New Way) takes care of the site built on ruins of a 1st century house, the neighbors of the Holy Family? offering a multimedia show on the life of Mary of Nazareth. A beautiful chapel sits on the roof top of the building facing the basilica of the annunciation. On the premessis a small artisanal shop & a Caffè (possible to book a meal in advance).

When I visit Our Lady of Lebanon I feel the sanctity of the place in terms of its tranquility, cleanliness and gentle breeze. The statue of the Virgin Mary stands tall on top of the mountain with her arms open as if she is protecting Lebanon from all harm. I felt comfortable during this visit. You can reach Harissa by car or cable car. My advice to everyone who visits Lebanon is to make a visit to Harissa part of their itinerary. I highly recommend.

A must see when traveling to Harissa. This historical site contains breathtaking views of the city & sea. The area itself feels very peaceful. The staff are very knowledgeable. Just a note-if your shoulders are exposed, you will be given a cover up cloak.

Beautiful and peaceful place ⛪️ with stunning views over Jounieh Bay 🌊. The statue is impressive up close, and the whole area feels calm and spiritual 🙏. Take the téléphérique up for an even better experience 🚡. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Lebanon 🇱🇧

A wonderful place for both worship and site-seeing. reach by road or take the Teleferique Cable Car. The views from here are beautiful, especially of the Jounieh Bay. You can see Paragliders all around in air, who are at your level when at this spot. The church is mainly for worshippers but all are welcome provided they adhere to the dress code, cloaks are provided to cover up before entering. You can reach the Statue of Our Lady by climbing a few more steps on the staircase from where the view is breathtaking, but beware, not for people with fear of heights. A must see in Harissa

Nice waterfalls with ancient historical connection. Lots of shops selling touristical items snd some restaurants.

Nature is spectacular and the water is soo refreshing. The place is nice, my experience with the restaurants there was not good at all, but the place is amazing

It might be a very nice place to see but the scene yaş been blocked and turnet to a mess by the cafe's and restaurants which are very worse, untidy and the roads are very bad and dusty. I thing the whole area should be taken under the control by the Government, Ministry of Tourism and the Municipality, otherwise and at the present state, it is shame of municipality.

Amazing place, the food and Nargila is not that good there, you can have a table in the cold water, near the water falls and enjoy the nature, there is also a small market were you can buy some good gifts , the place there is full of cars especially in the weekends you give your car to someone to park it for you and then continue walking to the cafes. Most of the cafes there serve wine and raki. The prices is fair.

It was surely an amazing piece of nature but the waterfall ways were filled with mass of concrete and dozens of restaurants and vendors are now sorounding the water. Some restaurants placed their tables right into the water so you can cool yourself both drinking and having your feet in icy water. The overall concept is kinda vulgar, the trash around isnt being collected properly so you dont want to walk away from the main routes. The decoration of some places is quite absurd... combining everything... Anyway it was a nice walk and we cooled ourselves after superhot Antakya.

Claimed to be first cave church. Interesting to visit but not worth the fee of 8 eur.

If you were expecting something incredible - you will be disappointed. If you were expecting something epic - this is not about this place. This is one of the places where Christianity was born, just a cave in the rock where Peter preached, just a place, beautiful in its own way, but these are definitely not the great churches of the Middle Ages. This is a greater place, one of which Christianity began.

This place, although is small, should be visited for the historical value that it has. As the first church in the world, and another historical site in a city that dates back to the first civilised city-states of the world. It is better to have the museum card as it gives access to all museums and historical sites of Turkey for 1 year.

The church is a small hall in the mountain. You need to know a bit of history and significance of the place to enjoy the atmosphere, have a look at the city view and tolerate the groups of religious tourists ( not to mention a rather expensive entry fee) Take your time to go around the church (opposite direction of the main entrance). You shall find an amazing number of tunnels dug in the mountains and the figure carved into the mountain. Unfortunately, the path is not marked and cleaned, but it is definitely part of the amazing history where people had to prepare escape ways to flee religious persecution.

Easily accessible and worth a visit, but only if you're passing as there is not a great deal to see. Do not miss the Hatay archaeological museum and the Hotel museum, they are a must visit!!

Very nice museum. It has the biggest Mosaic collection in the world. Plan to spend at least 2.5 to 3 hours. It has a nice cafe to relax inside the museum as you exit. Parking was an issue for us. Besides the amazing mosaics spend some time at th sarcofagus section.

I couldn't imagine the amount of historical and archiological findings in this area. The museum was a trip to the history of the rigion. Amazing collection pf mosaic and marble sculptures. It is a must to see for Hatay visitors. Update: more sections are opened, and more mosaic is in display.

One of the great museums you can ever visit, huge and divers collection. Can't be missed if you in Antakya visting it is a must. However, it needs minimum two hours so make sure you have enough time when you go there.

An excellent museum with displays relating to all historic times. The collection of mosaics are incredible and there are some very well preserved sarcophagus. Well worth a detour to visit, also do not miss the the Hotel museum

One of the very most important museum in Turkey. It represent the life of the caveman and the life of the mythological histories.. There are lots of articles and objects belong to that lifetime and history. Make sure you hear all the history of the items. Dont miss it.. Also dont miss the "live your life" Mosaic..

The museum was moved last year to here. Previous place of this museum was in city centre but not big enough but new place is more bigger but far from city centre. I love the chronological path in the museum first path starts with cage life of humans and ends with modern day. Mosaics are well preserved and mosaics were like photographs. The only disadvantage of this path I couldn't find path milestones as described it was complex for me to understand how designated path goes. I started area 1 and I found myself at area 13 after 30 minutes but I think that was my fault that's why I give 5 star. When you see 480p resolution mosaics you understand why I gave star.

An impressive museum with a variety of exhibits about the area's very old history. I have been to many museums in Europe and this one could easily be in one of its capitals. The finds from the Hittite period are particularly impressive, as is the quality and massiveness of the mosaics from the Roman period. Worth it!

A lovely historic bridge in the heart of the city, Adana. There are many historical places and museums around this bridge, so it is a lovely point to start visiting in the city 🥰

Adana Taş Köprü (Stone Bridge) was built during the reign of the Roman Emperor Hadrian in the 2nd century A.D. It spans the Seyhan River (known in antiquity as Sarus) and is considered one of the oldest stone bridges in the world still in use today. Originally constructed with 26 arches, 14 of them are still visible and standing today. The bridge has been used by many civilizations over time, including the Byzantines, Seljuks, and Ottomans, and it has undergone several restorations. Known for its architectural elegance and durability, the Stone Bridge is one of the most iconic landmarks of Adana.

Nice view, especially when walking on it. The bridge has been built for more than 1800 years.

A beautiful, well-preserved bridge. You can stroll to the other end and back, just as people have done for many hundreds of years. A view of the huge mosque to the north makes for a nice view. There's not too much to do at the bridge, so I'd recommend next heading towards that mosque through the riverside park on the west bank there, as the nice part of town is in that direction. Though beware of aggressive beggars and peddlers at the mosque.

The stone bridge is located in the center of Adana city. It is very crowded on holidays. Sometimes local music is played. The view of the mosque and Sihon river is very beautiful. You can take good photos. There is no entrance here, it is open to the public

The bridge still stands after all these years, it’s simple but beautifully constructed, unlike those ugly bridges today. On the opposite site of the bridge, take sometime to walk the old town and the Ataturk museum.

A stunning mosque in the heart of Adana, it took 10 years from 1988-1998 to finish the construction of this serene magnificent complex. There’s a lot of greenery inside its premise which provides solace during the hot summers of this region.

If you are coming to the Mosque after seeing Taş köprü there is shortcut, an underground passage to the mosque but the passage stinks with urine and filth. You can make a bigger loop and pass through a traffic lights which are a bit far. But if you go through the underground passage the smell is terrible. Looks like an abandoned place. If you can bear the smell you can pass through it fast and reach the beautiful mosque that is worth visiting. I think municipal authorities should pay attention to this.

This is one of the greatest and beautiful mosque what I had ever seen! It's the second largest mosque in Turkey. There’re amazing views all around and exciting views inside.

Very beautiful mosque with awesome design and beautiful decorations. Very large interior and exterior surrounding yard. There is a huge park outside the mosque that has many activities for families and children. The mosque is also right on the river and a short walk from the old city.

This was my first visit to Adana. I explored the historical area around the clock tower, however the area near to this mosque was my favorite. It’s a big complex, the mosque it’s among the biggest most I’ve visited I. Türkiye. It’s supposed to be the biggest mosque between Istanbul and Saudi Arabia. The park around this mosque was my favorite place to walk in Adana.

It is one of the most important symbols of Adana, it has a fascinating structure and unique architecture, the Seyhan River flows past me, it is surrounded by the central park, which is a huge natural beauty, and it is one of the distinguished mosques that everyone should come and see.

The view of the falls is fantastic.. You definitely must see and take pictures when you're in adana or mersin it takes only 30 to 40 minutes to get there by car.

The view and location are very nice. It would be much better if they could organize the tables and seating a little more. The prices are a little high.

You might get lost looking for it but follow the water. Beautiful and in the middle of the city.. small but still a breath of fresh air and great for down time or picnics

I saw many videos about the waterfall of tarsus on u tube and others sites that shows a huge waterfall but at the moment i got there i was disappointed cuz it's wasn't as i was expecting it would be

The Restaurant next to the waterfall has good food to offer and tastes good. The waterfall does look really nice and is a good place for people, who like to be close to Nature, besides that it isnt such a big place, but definetly worth seeing.

If you are near adana or mersin , give it a go.. nice place to take breakfast or simply cup of tea or coffee..there is a restaurant u can sit and enjoy the view and one of the passing train if you are lucky

I very much enjoyed the drive up and down, the views were spectacular and I've wanted to go there for most of my life, because my great grandfather worked here as a Prisoner of War in WW1.

It is definitely well off the beaten path but worth the trip. There is a nice cafe nearby for food and chai.

An impressive historical bridge with stunning views! Varda Köprüsü, also known as the German Bridge, is a masterpiece of early 20th-century engineering. The surrounding nature is beautiful, and watching the trains pass over the high arches is unforgettable. A must-see spot for history lovers, photographers, and anyone visiting Tarsus or Adana.

Safety warning. You need to drive carefully to this place, the road is narrow, after driving for an hour in a narrow road you will be reaching a cafe where you can rest and enjoy the view of the bridge. Only sandwiches and drinks, no kebap lol. We left the area and had our nice grilled sucuk at ( Tekir Zirve Restaurant), located on the top of the mountain where the view is also amazing.

I really like this place. There are lots of cafe's and lots of shops. I went to the amusement park at marina twice, it was fun but I do wish for it to have more Rollercoasters and rides. There's not much when you go there and the roller coaster train isn't even that fast or scary. But I really like It there. 👍

Very popular place to spend summer evenings, with a lot of good restaurants in the area packed with customers. A lot of options to spend a nice evening sightseeing or enjoying the best Turkish cuisine have to offer.

The atmosphere is nice. The staff were very attentive. Good thing is it iwas closed or else we won't enjoy the place. The salad was good and it was fresh. Love the cake it was very moist. I also like the view. Overall I recommend this place.

Excellent service. We love coming for breakfast here. Tasty food, attentive stuff and a beautiful location by the water. There is an administrator here that speaks fluent English and is super friendly and professional. You could recognize him by a moustache. PS: if you like strong, dark roasted coffee, you need to try it here. PPS: our bill here was always correct, unlike other places.

Nice marina with plenty of nice shops and restaurants. Staff at the entrance barrier are very kind and helpful. Nice walk along the promenade into Mersin. Would defo recommend this place during the day or evening fir a meal and walk around the shops and look at the boats.

Hey there! If you're ever in Turkey near Mersin, you should totally check out Gilindire Cave, also called "Mirrored Lake Cave." It's a pretty amazing natural place. Inside, you'll see these super cool rock formations called stalactites and stalagmites. They've been forming for ages, and with the special lighting, they look really awesome. Just a heads-up, though, it can get super humid in there, so be prepared for that! But the best part is definitely the clear lake at the very back. It's so still that it perfectly reflects everything, making it look like a mirror. Seriously, it's a great spot for photos! Getting around inside is pretty easy thanks to the stairs and walkways, which are generally good for walking. However, there are quite a few steps, so it can be a bit tiring, especially on the way back up. Scientists have even found stuff here from the Ice Age, which is pretty neat. So, if you're into nature and seeing something a bit different, Gilindire Cave is definitely worth a visit. You won't regret seeing this hidden gem!

Breathtaking views scenery both outside and inside must see. Entry fee as of today was 19TL definitely with it. I recommend once inside cave go all the way down first then slowly come back up enjoying cave views as straight up can be tiring. Great lake view at bottom.

I have visited Carlsbad caverns in New Mexico and Waitomo caves in New Zealand. The Gilindire caves in my opinion are much more enjoyable caves to visit. Inside the caves is a very well designed walkway and stairs the entire length/depth. The cave descends probably down to sea level and terminates at a platform overlooking a large crystal clear pool. You can hear bats 🦇 in the cave but I couldn’t spot them. In spring of 2025 the cost to see the cave was 60TL or $2 USD. Staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming! If it’s the middle of summer it would be a nice thing to do to escape the heat. I’ll definitely come back and visit.

Also known as Aynalıgöl Cave, Gilindire Cave is located 7.5 km southeast of Aydıncık district, between Sancak Burnu and Kurtini Creek. The cave, whose entrance faces the sea, can be reached from the sea and land. The Gilindire Cave, which is 351 meters long in total, is a horizontally developed cave. The inside of the Gilindire Cave, which is right on the edge of one of the beautiful bays of the Mediterranean, is covered with all kinds of dripstone formations. These stalactites, which have reached enormous sizes and are extremely beautiful in appearance, have divided the main gallery into many halls and rooms. In addition, the large lake at the end of the cave and the stalactites, stalagmites, columns, walls, curtain dripstones and cave needles that form islands on the edge of this lake have turned the cave into a fascinating environment.

The ancient city is lying on a very big area. The paid part maybe is smaller than a "rest", but for sure that the ruins on the slopes of the hills are not easily accessible ones. Some reconstructions works are ongoing on different spots, but despite of it, almost the entire site looks somehow neglected. Parking is not developed, you may stop anywhere you find a place. Unfortunately the infrastructure is very poor. Toilet is the only one, no shop, or buffet. Nevertheless Museum Pass Turkey is accepted.

An ancient city you have to visit! It's a great place to see for people who enjoy history. Yet, the city is not to old, but it represents the perriods starying from 1-st century BC. Some objects are being renovated, but the mosaics are still waiting for it's turn to show their beauty.

You can walk freely through the anciens city. There was no body else when I visited making the expérience more enjoyable. The archeologists working on a restoration project were friendly

Well preserved Odeon, very windy ancient city ruins. In summer, it is open until 7pm but in winter, till 5pm. Currently, the cost of entry is 12.5TRY.

Great outdoor museum, wonderful beach. There are theater halls ... which have historic ancient baths. Commagene kingdom The Roman empire has come to many civilizations like the sasanis. Do not come and see. Entrance fee is 6 lira.. 2 hours from Mersin.

A Roman ancient city with ruins of public buildings, theater and necropolis, located at the seashore where you can have an excellent swim in pristine waters and enjoy the pebble beach. Well worth visiting, both for the history and a swim.

The Dim cave, which is 11 km away from Alanya, is 232 m above sea level and is located on the western slope of Mount Cebeli Reis. Dim Cave, consisting of 4 galleries, is 360 m long, horizontal, 10-15 m wide and high. There are rich stalactites, stalagmites and travertine formations inside the cave. At the end of the cave, 17 m deeper than the entrance, there is a small lake with a water surface of 200 m². It is the second largest cave in Türkiye that is open to visitors.

Amazing place. Loads of steps to get to entrance. Be prepared for steps and more steps. Two caves. Right cave 50m. Loads of steps. Left cave 310m. Loads and loads of steps. Dark. Very cool. Plenty of places to stop and get your breath back. Highly recommend.

Great if you're interested in stalactites and stalagmites that form curious figures when viewed from the correct perspective. Make sure you bring a sweater or light jacket as it gets cooler the deeper in you go. Really enjoyed the restaurant before the cave that has a large menu of delicious bites to eat.

Went there for some sightseeing. I would not book a whole tour but rather rent a car or scooter and go up there yourself, the whole trip is a gift already. It’s high up in the mountains and you’ll probably want to stop here and there to have a look around. Inside the cave it’s quite amazing seeing how nature does her thing spanning over thousands of years. It’s quite large but inside takes about an hour. Depending how you climb those stairs or crawl up and down. Considering the price for a ticket inside it’s definitely worth a look. Even the kids after complaining they don’t want to look at some boring rocks, found it very interesting and somewhat thrilling. They are 5 and 9. Outside we had something small to eat which was reasonable nothing spectacular and the kids had some ice cream. We had a few fun hours before we went down to the river.

6 euro entrance. Still not too bad for tourists (yet). The cave is excellent. You can walk yourself. It’s dimly lit. All caves have differences and also lighting philosophies. This one is sim. Could be a bit more light in the stalagmites etc. but still good

The castle has a great view of the city so you may only go there to see this fantastic view. We liked walking up to the entrance and they have clean toilets and a shop selling fresh cold drinks. It was not too busy maybe because we went there during the week. The whole place could be a bit cleaner but still good.

Get on the cable car to the top to see some spectacular views. The castle is big and you could easily spend a whole day there exploring. You will need some decent footwear as there are many steps. Walkways are full of little bazaar type shops and hidden gems to explore. Visited with a guide to show us the best bits buy can easily make your own way around. The sunset was awesome.

Clifftop castle covering a hugh area. Can get chairlift or walk to top of it. Lots of great views all around it. Set out on different levels decent footpaths. Also did boat trip from harbour around headland again great views of castle walls.

Very cool experience. Incredibly beautiful up there on the mountain and you can see as far as you want! Lots of differences in level, so strollers and wheelchairs are not suitable. There is a small market at the top and also kiosks and restaurants along the way. We walked up and took the cable car down. The cable car was a scary experience for those afraid of heights and it's expensive. 920 lira for two people one way!

Excellent view and great historic location. If you’re English speaking, I definitely recommend doing your own research to accompany your visit; the signs are not well translated and it’s hard to get an idea of the inspiring history of the place. Definitely recommend visiting at sunset, getting transport up the hill and visiting the market stalls on the way up before your visit as they will close

This was an amazing find on our holiday to turkey and 100% worth a visit. We took the cable cart up to the top of the mountain where the castle is, you can also drive up and park in the car park if preferred. The castle ruins were well kept and had little shops and toilets throughout, you can pay to enter the castle or if you want you can just walk around the outer ruins and grounds for free. We seen some amazing views of the surroundings including the harbour and the famous I ❤️ Alanya sign. This could easily be a half to full day out depending if you enter the castle or not and is perfect for children we took our now 6 and 10 year-old boys with us who absolutely loved to see the ruins and read the stories behind them.

Alanya Castle is one of the must-see places in the city. The view from the top is absolutely beautiful, overlooking the sea, the beach, and the whole of Alanya. The castle area is very big, so it’s also a good place for hiking or walking around while enjoying the historical atmosphere. The easiest way to reach the castle is by taking the Teleferik (cable car). Once you arrive, you can walk around freely, but keep in mind that if you want to enter the museum area inside, there is a separate ticket fee. It’s a great spot to spend a few hours, especially if you enjoy both nature and history. Don’t forget to bring comfortable shoes and water if you plan to explore the larger area by foot.

The beach itself is very beautiful and convenient. However, it’s very dirty. I don’t understand why neither the beach nor the water is cleaned. The water is very polluted by visitors, with microplastics, bandages, and various waste that shouldn’t be there visible everywhere. The authorities and visitors show a very careless attitude toward such a beautiful place. It’s really a shame.

cleopatra beach is truly one of the must visit places for swimming and relaxing. the sand and the sea are very clean, making it a great spot to enjoy the water. although both tourists and locals sometimes leave trash behind, i really hope this will decrease in the future so the beach can stay as beautiful as it deserves to be. the view here is stunning, the sunset, the mountains with goats wandering around, and the surrounding tourist spots all create a breathtaking atmosphere. the endless horizon of the sea brings a real sense of peace and relaxation. this natural wonder is also home to crabs, jellyfish, and even large fish, which makes the experience even more unique. on top of that, the cable car view over the area is simply amazing and adds to the overall charm of visiting this beach.

Nice long beach with some flat rocks in the water. But easy to get into the water. Sunbeds and umbrella cost 375 Lira. Absolutely ok. 👍🏾

Kleopatra Beach is absolutely beautiful!!!! The sand is soft, the water is clear and refreshing, and the whole atmosphere is just so relaxing. It’s a lovely spot to spend the day, whether you’re sunbathing, swimming, or just enjoying the views. There are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas for hire if you need them, and lots of little cafes and restaurants nearby for snacks and drinks, which makes it really convenient. The beach was clean and well looked after, which I really appreciated. It’s popular, so it can get busy at times, but it still has a calm and friendly vibe, everyone just seems happy to be there. I really enjoyed my time at Kleopatra Beach and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Perfect for a chilled-out day by the sea!

Kleopatra beach is so beautiful. The heat is unreal! The sand is lovely but gets super hot in August! I love going in the sea which is very warm, clean and refreshing. However the waves can get very powerful and knock loads of people over which is actually great fun! But if you're fragile take care! The back drop of Alanya castle is so beautiful.

The beach itself is amazing,very long and plenty of space for everyone. The sea there is beautiful, lifeguards are everywhere so it seems to be like a safe place to swim. Negative is no free toilet these days Paying 50p for every entry is just stealing money for your basic needs.

Beautiful natural wonder right by the Antalya coastline. The waterfalls drop directly into the Mediterranean, which makes for a stunning view, especially at sunset. You can enjoy the sight from nearby parks or take a boat tour for a closer look. Quite crowded during peak hours, but definitely worth visiting if you’re in Antalya.

If you’re into a good walk, try walking from the center of Antalya to the Lower Düden Waterfalls. You’ll see a lot more of the city along the way, and the view at the end is beautiful! If you still have some energy left, you can continue to the sandy beach just behind it. I took the bus back and had a really nice day trip!

Absolutely stunning beauty 🤗 If you are thinking to choose upper or lower please choose this but again my personal opinion. Beautiful has a park around to walk with lots of local vendors plus photo spots, zip liners and restaurant etc… A bit too sunny now so take water and cap/hat to protect from the heat and oh don’t forget the sunscreen, bath in it to guard from the harmful rays but otherwise definitely worth spending 2 hours looking around. You can easily access this place using local transport or taxi fyi. Definitely must visit in Antalya 👍

Worthwhile to see, but it’s a pity we didn’t see the boat to go under the waterfall. If you plan to come by bus, better to visit Lara Beach together with Duden waterfall, because bus KL08 can go to these two places. I heard upper Duden is pretty and has a cave. But did’t manage to visit it.

Incredibly delicious Turkish food. Sedat is a great host and very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. We highly enjoyed the aubergine with meat dish, Adana kebab, and chicken skewers which were all very flavourful, tender, and well cooked. The aubergine was sensational Everything was well seasoned and cooked nicely. The restaurant is also very clean and in a great location in the Old Town

Amazing service, very kind and helpful and honest staff. Both dishes were very tasty, juicy and fresh. The brought us free mezze and yoghurt dip with fresh bread before the food which were tasty as well. After lunch they brought us free tea which was very good too. They will recommend getting salad or soup, or the fresh juice which they also make instead of the bottled juice for example, but up selling is part of any good waiter's job, if you say no they're extremely respectful and polite about it of course. We came for the reviews and we were not let down, we were very vary of not getting scammed while dining in the center but instead they ended up charging us TOO LITTLE, and when I brought it up with the waiter and then the owner that we should be paying MORE they were super friendly and still charged us the lower amount, so we just tipped instead. Ibrahim was out waiter, and unlike other restaurants, these guys didn't ask us to review them but I feel like it's only fair to appreciate their good work amongst so many other tourist traps.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and authentically Turkish. The service was excellent, the staff were very welcoming and attentive. What made it even more special was that the owner kindly offered us tea and coffee at the end, free of charge – a lovely gesture of hospitality. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and I will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

Good restaurant, good service. Went with my wife loved the food, the hosts are really friendly, welcoming. Suggest to have indoor seating as well as there is place inside too, which is unused. The heat can be difficult to have a nice meal.

The adana and urfa kebabs are nice, the soups/lahmacun are good too. I had no issues but based on other peoples experiences check the prices I suppose Portions are a bit small for what you pay but I feel that's the case for most places in old town No free tea for me tho... Anyways my main issue was the shop guy opposite, must have smoked a whole forest as I was trying to enjoy my food

By far the BEST restaurant I’ve visited in Kaleiçi. Every dish is delicious, my personal favorite being the Beyti Kebab with yogurt. The Adana is amazing. The host is very genuine and uplifting, he’s got great energy and a great crew. You will feel very welcomed and you will enjoy your food 100%

The Antalya Archaeology Museum is a great place to explore, especially if you enjoy Roman history — they have an impressive collection of statues, mosaics, and artifacts. Entry is about 30 GBP per person for foreigners, which feels a bit expensive but the exhibits are well worth it. One thing to note: they try to sell you an audio guide at the entrance, but honestly, it’s not really worth the extra cost — the museum has plenty of written descriptions in English. Overall, a beautiful and rich museum experience, just be mindful of the extras.

Interesting and very well maintained museum, not too big - you will probably not get too tired :) Too expensive though...€15 for the entrance fee without the audio guide, which costs extra (€5-7)....And no WI-FI available for visitors..

Outstanding museum, especially for statuary and sarcophagi from Perge and other nearby sites. The current price is 13 euro. The entrance is on Attaturk Cd.

This museum tells us a great deal about Ancient Anatolians, Romans and Christians in general. There are amazing items and well made sculptures. Once you're done here you can take the nostalgic tram to visit Kaleici and continue your trip there

It's interesting, the price for tourists is 15€, little high though, especially considering the size of exhibition and price for locals.. Opened every day. White peacocks and a lot of cats in the gardens outside.

Definitely one of the best archaeological museums in Turkey, Roman statues are among the best in the world!

I was a bit concerned about paying 15 Euros for what I supposed was a provincial museum. But, it's not a provincial museum full of stuff that didn't make the capital: it has room after room of awesome quality, life size and larger, statuary and reliefs. The trials of Hercules on several of the sarcophagi are awesome - fighting the lion, subduing Cerberus the three headed dog, chopping the hydra's head off, all that fun stuff. The cool thing here is you can get right up close without being shouted at, or alarms going off. You can feel the marble breathing. The prize possession, a resting Hercules, is tremendous. And, okay, so I haven't been to Rome and may be overexcited, but the head of Antinous is indeed beautiful enough to arrest an emperor (and the description with it refreshingly does not shy away from their love or Hadrian's publication of his grief after Antinous drowns in the Nile.) The collection is equally replete with both sensual and civic representations of women. In the patrician classes, women were in equal positions of power and the named sculptures here ooze intelligence and respect. (Quite a lot of the guys have, unfortunately, lost their special treasures during various iconoclastic periods, but there are still plenty to go round.) Beyond the statues, there are some early christian icons, including a reliquary of St Nicholas containing a supposed piece of his jawbone and skull (awesome - bits of Father Christmas - show that to the kids and see if they believe again!) And the galleries then flow into the garden for some desultory leftovers. A fine journey.

Visited on August 15, 2025. Paid 40 dollars per person as foreing citizens for just aquarium itself. If booked online via the aquarium’s official site in advance, it costs 36 dollars instead. Overall it was nice but it is a bit pricey for what it offered. It is home to the world’s largest tunnel aquarium, stretching 131 meters in length. Inside, visitors can marvel at a life-size airplane and shipwreck, while coming face to face with majestic sharks.

I bought the full package for a family of three through our travelling agency with access to the Aquarium, Ice World, Wax Museum, Wild life and Cinema. Overall it was a good experience, but definitely more expensive than its actual worth. I guess the logic of the owners is that tourists are willing to pay more for something they will visit only once in their lifetime (typical Turkish bankrupt mentality). Of course, it wouldn't be Turkey if they wouldn't try to also fish some more money from you: at the entrance in the Aquarium, they take your photos and give you a card with a code bar. When you exit, you can only do it by scanning the code bar and they give you an option to purchase a series of photos for 50 euros or less for individual items (15 euros for a fridge magnet with your photo).

Antalya Aquarium is one of the Amazing places to see the indoor aquatic life. This aquarium have a great collection of different species of fishes. It has an indoor tunnel where U can see fishes from inside of tunnel. The amazing thing about the aquarium is it's buildup styl. At multiple positions, the big aquariums have old war ships which have drowned during war. Some old airplane statues most probably before 1940 version can be seen inside the aquariums. Furthermore, aquariums mimic sea environment as well

The aquarium itself was very beautiful. Nothing too different from the others we've been, but still worth to visit if you're there. But the kids were absolutely amazed with the snow room. It's tiny, but has a few ice slides and a cosy little cafeteria.

As others have mentioned, this place is massively overpriced for what it offers. We purchased the full tickets, but left feeling underwhelmed. The aquarium is small and unimpressive—probably the most interesting part is the “shark feeding”, though you’ll mostly see other fish with a few small sharks mixed in. There’s also an option to feed the sea rays (for an extra fee, of course), which some may find entertaining. The wildpark felt more like an adoption center for leftover reptiles, with a heavy focus on ball pythons. While there are some larger snakes like anacondas, the overall variety wasn’t much better than the aquarium. The Oceanride XD cinema was a decent addition and helped fill time between stops, but again, it’s overpriced for what you get. The wax museum wasn’t for me—some figures didn’t even resemble the real people. Overall, this feels like just another tourist trap in Turkey: high prices, minimal value. It might still appeal to those who haven’t traveled much, haven’t been to major aquariums/zoos, or simply don’t mind spending extra. But for most travelers, it’s not worth the time or money—you can safely skip it.

The aquarium is nice, but honestly, I think it's overpriced. It has a lot of animals, but it's quite small — you only need around 30 minutes to complete the tour. Kids will love it though, and there's also a play area for them. However, I was really sad to see the penguins’ wings tied. I think that’s so cruel!

A great place to visit with kids! There's a wide variety of sea creatures from around the world, and the underwater tunnel is especially beautiful—it really gives you that immersive experience. One highlight is the impressive large shark, which was amazing to see up close. However, I do think they could add more types of fish, especially in the tunnel area. The ticket price is on the higher side; I've visited larger aquariums that were more affordable. Still, if you're in Antalya with children, it's definitely worth a visit.

A relatively small amphitheater, seating only 6000 spectators in 38 rows of seats. It was first built in the BC era but there were a series of improvements and expansions. During the early eastern Roman. A wall was later built between the seats and the stage to enable gladiator and wild animal fights. The arena is still in a state of disrepair and it is dangerous to try to access the seating area. Most of the area is fenced off but there is an entrance on the left side so you can view the interior.

I bit pricey to enter (€15) per person but if you’re around you definitely should visit. I recommend evening time. We went there after 6pm. This is a perfect time. Very very few people so you could explore the place in peace, without a rush and had it almost to yourself. This one of very few heritage site that you can literally walk everywhere and touch everything so you can experience the real ancient world. Amazing feeling to enter the amphitheatre trough main entrance onto the stage and to look up and around. You get the feeling from the Gladiator, when they were entering the Colosseum. You can almost imagine the cheering crowds. There is also restored Theatre which is also amazing. I love the way you see more than just few stones . You can actually see it as it was!!!. There are view cons. No clear directions as what to see or where to go. Little map or leaflet would be helpful. Also should be some clear signage to point you where to go next.
