Nestled in the heart of Pune, the Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Mandir stands as a beacon of devotion and artistry. This iconic temple, dedicated to Lord Ganesha, boasts stunning marble interiors and a magnificent golden idol that captivates visitors from all walks of life. Established in 1893 by Shri Dagdusheth Halwai and his wife Lakshmibai following a personal tragedy, this sacred site has become one of India's most revered places for worship.
Visiting Dagdusheth Ganpati was a truly divine experience. The moment I reached the temple, the atmosphere was filled with chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya” and the fragrance of flowers and incense. The magnificent idol of Lord Ganesha, beautifully adorned with gold ornaments, instantly filled my heart with peace and devotion. Even amidst the crowd, darshan was smooth because of the temple’s unique design that allows everyone to see Bappa clearly. The positive energy, the devotion of people, and the feeling of being in the presence of Lord Ganesha made the visit unforgettable. I left with a calm mind, a grateful heart, and a sense of blessings that will stay with me forever. 🙏✨ Truly, Dagdusheth is Navsala Pavnara Ganpati ✨🙏

Visiting the Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Temple is always a divine and soul-soothing experience. Located in the heart of Pune, this temple is not just a place of worship but a symbol of devotion, culture, and tradition. The moment you step inside, you can feel an aura of peace, positivity, and spiritual energy surrounding you. The Ganpati idol here is truly magnificent — beautifully adorned with gold and intricate ornaments. The eyes of Lord Ganesha seem so lively and compassionate that one instantly feels connected and blessed. The temple management ensures that everything is well organized, from darshan queues to cleanliness and safety measures. Despite being one of the most popular temples in Maharashtra, the darshan moves smoothly thanks to the systematic arrangement and polite volunteers who guide devotees with patience and warmth. The surrounding area is also well maintained, and facilities like shoe counters and prasad distribution are handled efficiently. During festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, the entire place transforms into a vibrant celebration with lights, music, and devotion — yet the sense of discipline and organization remains intact. It’s heartwarming to see how the temple also engages in various charitable activities, helping the needy and supporting social causes throughout the year. Overall, visiting Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Temple is a must for anyone in Pune — whether for spiritual solace, cultural significance, or simply to experience the deep devotion of countless devotees. A truly divine place that fills your heart with peace and gratitude.

I had wanted to visit Dagdusheth Ganpati Mandir for a long time, and finally got the chance. Even though it was Diwali, the crowd was well-managed, and devotees were able to move around comfortably thanks to the efficient security personnel. One small improvement could be providing a tap or facility to wash hands, as we place our chappals on the stand with bare hands. Overall, the temple is well-organized, spiritually uplifting, and a must-visit for anyone coming to Pune.

SHREE DAGDUSHETH HALWAI GANPATI – PUNE’S ICONIC GANESH TEMPLE We visited the famed Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati—Pune’s answer to Mumbai’s Lalbaugcha Raja—and were truly amazed by the authentic and wholesome vibe of the festivities. The idol is majestic, with a traditional Puneri crown that’s instantly recognizable. The temple interiors are adorned with chandeliers, and despite the crowd, the pandits are calm, making the darshan peaceful. You can even stay back for the aarti, which adds a spiritual depth to the visit. A thoughtful feature is the glass viewing section on the front wall, allowing devotees to seek blessings even from the road during rush hours. During Ganeshotsav, the idol is ceremoniously moved to a temporary mandap at the end of the road, accompanied by traditional dhol-tasha groups and grand processions full of energy and devotion. It’s not just a temple—it’s a cultural experience. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, Dagdusheth Ganpati offers a glimpse into Pune’s soul, wrapped in devotion, tradition, and celebration.

“Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Mandir is one of the most divine and peaceful places in Pune. The beautifully decorated idol of Lord Ganesha is truly mesmerizing — one glimpse fills your heart with calm and positivity. The temple is well-maintained, clean, and the darshan is usually smooth thanks to the organized management. The surrounding area is lively, yet the moment you enter the mandir, you feel a deep sense of devotion and peace. A must-visit for anyone seeking blessings and a serene spiritual experience. Dagdusheth Ganpati Mandir is a must-visit landmark in Pune. The idol is grand and beautifully adorned, especially during festivals. The temple is centrally located, very clean, and perfect for tourists, photographers, and devotees alike. A great blend of culture, tradition, and devotion. Every visit to Dagdusheth Ganpati Mandir feels like a moment of pure blessing. The divine aura, calming chants, and the beautifully decorated Bappa instantly lift your mood and give you fresh energy. It’s a place where devotion truly comes alive.”
Arpita S — Google review
One of the most beautiful temples in Pune. Visiting this temple is truly a divine experience. The moment you see Lord Ganesh, so beautifully adorned, you can instantly feel the spiritual aura and positive energy around you. Despite being crowded most of the time, the temple is managed exceptionally well, no matter when you visit, you’ll always get a peaceful darshan of Ganesh ji. There’s also a Shiva temple within the same premises, adding to the sacred atmosphere. The poojari are humble and ensure everyone receives aarti and prasad with warmth. During Ganesh Chaturthi, the temple looks absolutely magnificent. Ganesh ji is decorated in gold, and the sight is truly something else. Spending time here fills you with calmness and devotion. I am genuinely a fan of this temple, it’s a place that never fails to bring peace and positivity.

Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Mandir is one of the most iconic and spiritually uplifting places in Pune. The temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha and is known for its stunning idol, beautifully adorned with gold ornaments and an aura of divine serenity. The idol itself is a sight to behold — tall, majestic, and radiating peace. The temple is very well-maintained, with smooth arrangements for darshan, even during peak hours or festivals. The area around the temple is always bustling with devotees, yet the atmosphere inside remains calm and devotional. The staff and volunteers are courteous and manage the crowd efficiently. It’s not just a place of worship but also a symbol of Pune’s rich culture and devotion. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Visiting the Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Temple was a beautiful and divine experience. The temple is filled with positive energy and devotion, and the darshan feels truly special. For first-time visitors, here are a few useful tips to make your visit smooth: • Avoid taking your car directly into the temple lane. The lane is extremely congested, one-way, and located in a busy market area. You won’t find parking nearby. It’s best to park your vehicle 500 meters to 1 km away and take a rickshaw to the temple. • You can choose a fast-track darshan pass for around ₹100 to directly go for darshan. There is also a regular darshan queue behind the temple where you can go without a pass. • Photography is not allowed inside the temple. If you wish to take pictures, you must visit the temple office and get proper permission first. • There is a shoe rack facility available where you can safely keep your footwear and get a token. Overall, a wonderful and peaceful darshan experience. Just be mindful about the approach road and parking, and everything else will be absolutely blissful. Must-visit for everyone seeking blessings in Pune!

The palace is steeped in intriguing stories of the rise and fall of the Peshwas.

So you can watch that also.

Shaniwar Wada, located in Pune, is a historic fort that was once the grand residence of the Peshwas, the prime ministers of the Maratha Empire. Built in 1732, this majestic fort features beautiful gardens, impressive gates, and sturdy walls, reflecting its past glory and significance. Although much of the fort was destroyed by a fire in 1828, the remaining structures still offer a glimpse into its splendid architecture and the Maratha heritage. Visitors can explore the impressive entrance, known as the Delhi Darwaza, walk through the ruins, and enjoy the evening light and sound show that narrates the fort's rich history. Shaniwar Wada is not just a symbol of Pune’s historical pride but also a popular spot for locals and tourists to learn about the city’s fascinating past.
Ragini B — Google review
About 400 years old, it is a fort, small in comparison to other forts in the country History says that the fort had seven storeys, but for some reason only the base was made of stone, and the remaining were constructed of brick & mortar Following shelling of the fort by the British when they invaded, the entire structure collapsed, leaving only the stone base This has now been converted into a tourist destination It has some landscaped gardens on the inside, otherwise there is nothing to indicate it's glorious past....

Shaniwarwada located in kasba peth. you can reach here from deccan via pune station bus and also other transport available, this is the historic place in india from peshwekalin . one of the most famous kach mahal was present here , but now there is no kach mahal present here. not well managed but very cheerful place.

The place belongs to a rich heritage but nothing is left now. Only foundation is there what once used to be a 7 stories palace of the peshwas. It's the signature monument of the Pune city hence good of a visit. Once you should visit this. It's close on Mondays. There is light and sound show in the evening. The ticket for entry costa 25 rupees.

One of the Best 👍💯😍😍🤩🤩 It's Free!!! Surprised? It's absolutely free in terms of fees, but the experience is priceless. As the description says; it's a glimpse into the life and teachings of Sadhu Vasvani and his Mission. It portrays the life of the Grt man very beautiful at the same time being very realistic (no exaggeration). Those who love to see antiques, u will find it here... To an extent, that u can see an original video recording of 1966. At the same time the visuals in other sections are 3D for technology lovers and there is very homely and natural environment created for nature lovers... It's something very amazing and different, as u walk through the life of Sadu Vasvani u will also c how modern technology is used to keep him alive through Audio Visual aid. Words can't express the place in its entirety!!! Go and experience for ur self... It's awesome 1 hour audio visual show (last show at 5 in the eve, which ends at 6) I guess in the morning it begins at 8 or 9 Thursday - Holiday The staff is very helpful, polite, friendly and understanding 🥰 No photograph allowed inside the museum📷... Thus no good pics to display... But the place is a treat for the eyes 👀

Peaceful. Enough parking space forntwo wheeler. If one to wash their feet before entering the temple, they have got one on the left side of the entrance. Offices are present outside temple for devotees to choose the offerings to the god. Specify footwear stand is also there. Request to use the same. Because people leave their footwear all around. People should also be quite inside the temple unfortunately it was found lodly speaking around.

It’s a divine place for inner peace. I think it’s the only Bhagvan Balaji temple in Pune which is run by andhra community & have bramhotsav. Here you can have prasad & also can donate for it during Bhamhotsav (during navratri), collect the prasad next day morning.
Balaji B — Google review
This is one of most authentic South Indian/ Iyengar style temple in Pune. The aura and vibes are amazing in this temple. The puja style and philosophy followed is Pancharatra way of worshipping Lord Venkateswara. In the main temple we find Lord Venkateswara as the main deity with his consort Padmavati. Next to Venkateswara, we have the divine presence of Lakhmi Narasimha and Lakshmi Hayagreevaa. In the compound we also have sannidhi of Chakratalvaar / Lord Sudarshana, Lord Hanuman, Lord Sita Rama along with Lakshmana, Lord Ganesha and Godadevi. Priests conduct the puja in a very elaborate and follow every custom and paddathi according to our agama shastras. Very proud that our culture is being preserved and followed and passed on. We feel the absolute divine energy in this temple.

Shree Mahaganapati Ganapati Temple, Ranjangaon (Ashtavinayak Kshetra)

Points of Interest & Landmarks
Shree Mahaganapati Ranjangaon, one of the revered Ashtavinayak temples dedicated to Lord Ganesha, is a must-visit destination for devotees and travelers alike. Nestled in the serene village of Ranjangaon, approximately 50 km from Pune, this ancient temple boasts a rich history linked to Lord Shiva's invocation of Ganesha before vanquishing the demon Tripurasura.
I have visited this temple twice, and both times, it was a wonderful and spiritual experience. The temple has a peaceful and divine atmosphere, making it a must-visit for devotees of Lord Ganesha. The architecture is beautiful, and the temple premises are well-maintained. However, one thing that I did not like was the VIP darshan system. People who pay ₹100 per person get quick access, while others have to wait in long queues for 1-2 hours, and even longer (2-3 hours) on weekends. This makes it difficult for common devotees who visit with faith and devotion. Apart from that, the overall experience was great. The temple attracts a huge crowd, which shows its significance. If you plan to visit, try going on a weekday to avoid long waiting times.

🙏 Shree Mahaganapati Temple, Ranjangaon (Ashtavinayak Kshetra) श्री महागणपती मंदिर, रांजणगाव I recently had the divine opportunity to visit Shree Mahaganapati Temple at Ranjangaon – one of the eight revered Ashtavinayak temples dedicated to Lord Ganesha. The temple is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva worshipped Ganesha before fighting the demon Tripurasura. The idol here is known as Mahaganapati, a powerful and majestic form of Ganesh with 10 trunks and 20 arms (though the original idol is kept hidden in the sanctum and shown only on special occasions). The temple architecture is stunning – a beautiful blend of peace, spirituality, and historic charm. The calmness and spiritual aura of the place are truly mesmerizing. It is well maintained and organized for devotees, even during weekends and holidays. The temple complex is clean, with ample space for parking, and basic amenities like toilets and drinking water. There are shops outside selling prasad, flowers, and souvenirs. I recommend reaching early in the morning or during the evening aarti time to avoid rush and experience the serene atmosphere. The drive from Pune is smooth and scenic (approx. 50 km), making it a perfect spiritual getaway. This temple is often visited as part of the full Ashtavinayak Yatra, but even if you’re visiting individually, it leaves you with a sense of divine satisfaction. 🌟 Tips for Devotees: Mobile phones and cameras are allowed, but photography inside the sanctum is restricted. Wear comfortable footwear (to be removed before entering the temple). Try the local Maharashtrian food in the nearby stalls. 🙏 A must-visit spiritual destination that combines devotion, history, and tranquility. Truly blessed to have experienced the divine presence of Mahaganapati Bappa! गणपती बाप्पा मोरया! 🙏

The mandir is really peaceful, and we'll culture, I'll recommend to buy VIP pass, which only costs 100/- , which will directly bow you to the entrence of ganesh idol.

It’s a famous one of the Ashta-Vinayaka (Among 8 Main Ganapati Mandir) situated at Ranjangoan. The Mandir is small but the surrounding area is specious. Lots of small temples are situated inside the Mandir itself. The Entrance is amazing. There is no rush during weekdays. But lots of waiting during weekends and Sankashti.
Pratiksha D — Google review
A highly revered temple of Ganesh. It is one of the ashtavinayak temples. It is right on main road and quite crowded. There are lot of puja item shops on way to temple. Parking space is available but due to large crowd it is usually occupied. In Temple just before entering garbhagrih there is a large gold plate which has Ganapati Atharvashirsh engraved on it.
Vishal S — Google review
It was an amazing experience. It is easily accessible as it is just along the highway which makes it convenient to reach. The only downside is the huge line just for hardly 1 min of darshan which is a problem for almost all the temples so can't complain about it. The atmosphere is good, you can also sit for hours in the garden area as it is peaceful and calm.

One of the Ashtavinayak and nearer to Pune ... takes around 1hr drive from Wagholi. Darshan takes around an hour Max but it's worth it. Good arrangement by the temple trust. Good crowd management. Security. Food options available there are kinda limited but that's okay. Ganapati Bappa Morya

Points of Interest & Landmarks
Situated off Pune Nashik Highway, this temple is one of the Ashtavinayak temples. Lord Ganesha is revered by multitude of devotees as @Vignahar@ or remover of obstacles. To have a peaceful darshan it is better to choose a weekday, which is not a Ganesha festival or a public holiday. If you are planning to reach this temple from Pune, the route being the main artery to various industrial clusters, please start in the wee hours of the morning to avoid traffic jams.

Here all the big infrastructure is owned by Vighnaharta Ganpati temple authority. They own this spacious hall .it is very nicely maintained.Total surrounding of temple and village is covered with lush greenery.Whole area is very neat and clean.A beautiful river is very neatly and cleanly maintained.Prices of hall for any function is minimal. You can opt for accommodation in the hotels build by Temple authority and these Hotels are very much reasonable also they have multiple accomodation options.Climate here is really pleasant.

Malshej Ghat is a breathtaking mountain pass nestled in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra, India. This enchanting destination is renowned for its stunning waterfalls and vibrant greenery, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. The area boasts a rich diversity of birdlife, including quails, cuckoos, and even flamingos.
Malshej Ghat is a scenic mountain pass known for its mist-covered cliffs, gushing waterfalls, and lush greenery during the monsoon. It's a favorite getaway for nature lovers, couples, bikers, and photographers, offering breathtaking views and peaceful vibes.Dozens of waterfalls emerge along the cliffs, some even spilling onto the road.

Monsoon beauty in Western Ghat, particularly in Malshej, is unbeatable. Clouds, fog, rain, and waterfalls, everything is endlessly. The Govt of Maharashtra provides good parking spaces and beautify water sources and waterfall areas so visitors can enjoy maximum. Hot Maggi, tea, and corn will add cherry on the ice.
Rajan P — Google review
This place should be on must visit list in monsoon if you are exploring western ghats. Going here is easy, as for most of the part road conditions are very good. You can come by car, 2 wheeler etc. In ghat section roads are narrow so expect some traffic during monsoon season. Also there is possibility of land slide etc. There are multiple waterfall points in the ghat area where government has build staircase , protective structures to access it easily. Make sure while you park your vehicle, you are not blocking on going traffic. I have seen people doing it. Be a responsible citizen. Same thing go for plastic and other garbage. In monsoon and winter expect lot of foggy weather which limits visibility so be careful. Most of the people I see go till ghat and return if they are coming from pune-nashik highway. I would highly recommend to go down till ghat ends, you will see amazing views.
Sachin N — Google review
What a place friends, it is heaven, I went there recently and enjoyed it a lot, I will say one thing that don't go from the check post before the ghat, go through the village, it is a great village, it is off-road but it is a lot of fun, it is 5km It falls far away it was a lot of fun

One of the coolest and awesome place in Maharashtra, this place have very scenic and beautiful view. But this place is very dangerous and thrilling too, it have accident prone area and one must be cautious world travelling at this place. In rainy season its completely covered in dense fog. Also there lots of waterfalls nearby this area and somewhere in mid of Highway waterfalls directly from the mountains on road.

A Must-Visit Ghat Road for Nature Lovers – Especially in Monsoon!🌦🌧 Malshej Ghat⛰️ is truly a paradise for nature lovers and an unforgettable ghat road journey. During the peak monsoon season, the beauty of this place is at its best. As I traveled through the ghat around 10 AM, the entire route was wrapped in fog🌫☁, creating a mystical and serene atmosphere. Riding a two-wheeler made the experience even more adventurous and thrilling. Along the way, I witnessed numerous small waterfalls cascading down the hillsides and stunning mountain views all around. I frequently stopped at different spots just to soak in the breathtaking scenery. At one spot, something magical happened—within just a few minutes, the thick fog suddenly cleared and revealing a fantastic view🏞. Moments like these make the journey truly unforgettable. Overall, it was a refreshing and memorable experience—perfect for anyone who enjoys nature, rain, and a bit of adventure. (31-July-2025)

One of the most beautiful and refreshing places to visit near Pune and Mumbai. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking with lush green mountains, deep valleys, and plenty of waterfalls during the monsoon season. The atmosphere here is very peaceful and calm, making it a perfect getaway from city life. Driving through the ghat is an amazing experience, with cool breeze, mist, and panoramic views all around. It is also a great spot for photography, birdwatching, and enjoying nature at its best. The roads are well-maintained, but can get slippery in rains, so one needs to be careful. Overall, Malshej Ghat is a must-visit destination for nature lovers, especially during monsoon.”

Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust in Shirdi is a major Hindu pilgrimage site that manages daily activities, accommodations, and meals for pilgrims. The temple, covering 200 square meters, is a central attraction in Shirdi and draws pilgrims from around the world. It offers accommodation for visitors and is open from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., with special overnight openings on occasions like Guru Purnima and Rama Navami.
My trip to Shirdi was a truly memorable experience. The atmosphere around the temple was electric, buzzing with a mix of excitement and devotion. Even though there were huge crowds, the temple authorities did a great job of keeping things organized, so the long queues moved surprisingly smoothly. The moment I stepped inside the main shrine, I felt a wave of peace wash over me. It's hard to describe, but there's definitely a special energy there. The whole complex was incredibly clean, which was impressive considering the sheer number of people. Getting to Shirdi was easy enough, with plenty of transport options available. One thing I'd recommend is to be prepared for the crowds, especially if you're going during a festival. Also, remember to dress respectfully and be aware of your belongings. While there were a few vendors trying to sell things outside, most people were genuinely there for the spiritual experience. Overall, my visit to Shirdi was a powerful and moving one, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone seeking a spiritual journey.

🌸 A Soulful Pilgrimage to Shirdi – The Abode of Sai Baba 🌸 Our visit to Shirdi was a truly divine and heart-touching experience. The moment we entered the Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir, we felt an overwhelming sense of peace, faith, and devotion. Shirdi is not just a place — it’s the sacred land where Shirdi Sai Baba, the revered saint known for his simplicity, kindness, and teachings of love and humanity, spent most of his life serving people selflessly. His life was devoted to spreading the message of faith (Shraddha) and patience (Saburi), embracing people from all walks of life regardless of religion or background. The Samadhi Mandir is where the mortal remains of Sai Baba rest, and the aura around it is incredibly serene and calming. The temple premises are clean, well-organized, and beautifully maintained, making the entire darshan experience smooth and fulfilling. The sight of devotees praying in silence, the fragrance of flowers and incense, and the soulful aartis create an atmosphere filled with devotion and positivity. A truly special part of the visit is receiving Sai Baba’s Udi (holy ash) after darshan. Baba himself used to distribute Udi to devotees as a symbol of blessings, protection, and healing. Even today, devotees believe that Baba’s Udi brings peace, good health, and spiritual strength, making it one of the most cherished offerings from Shirdi. Walking through the temple grounds, one can also see places associated with Sai Baba’s simple lifestyle — spots that reflect his humility, compassion, and the way he lived close to nature and served humanity. Our darshan at the Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir was truly special and left us with a deep sense of gratitude, peace, and renewed faith. A visit to Shirdi is not just a journey but a spiritual experience that stays in your heart forever. ✨ Review by @the_solo_wanderer_ For more soulful journeys and untold stories, search me on Instagram 🌿📸

Planning your visit will help in many ways for Sai Baba darshan. Off day one can avoid rush. You can buy online tkts for darshan and it works great. There will still be good walk inside however, better than standing in a long queue. There is seperate line for senior citizen so if you have elderly please use that. It is better to get your tkt for paid darshan printed. The entrance unlike any other temples is well maintained and not overly crowded. The parking, mobile phone and footwear is all taken care at the place. Please note mobile phones are not allowed and have to be kept in lockers or just keep in the car. The staff is helpful and guide you around. The inside of the temple is par or even better than any other place in foreign country. Museum is nice and must see. There are other temples shiva ling, Ganesha when you exit towards gate 3. The entire place is well maintained. I was thrilled to see that in India we have such place to visit specially worship place like this one for Sainath.

I am a serving person coming for Darshan all the way from punjab. Honest review is the place is sarine, however, the shop attatched in pic is a fraud or may be one of the frauds who will trick you to park vehicle in front of his shop in exchange of buying a puja thali in which only the Phool mala is allowed in and the devotee realises he gas been hoodwinked once he passes tgrough the security check in. The pile of such items at the gate assured that I am not the only one fallen for the trap. I can only suggest and request to buoycot such shops. For reference, this one is in the road just opposite to the senior citizen gate.

Full rating to Shri Saibaba 🙏🏻 No star for management they pay attention to peoples who have passes and VVIP and they do darshan in 20 min on average. This was our first visit to the place. We heard through our one of our friends. We stayed for 2 nights. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The view to the lake was the best part. Mornings and evenings were very pleasant. Obviously the harvesting season was over however it was still worth the stay. The team restaurant manager - Firoz and his team - Akram, Haq and the chef's too were great. Great service and brilliant food. The menu is small but precise. The wine tour along with Sanket was great too. Would surely come during the monsoons.

We are very thankful to the wine maker who stayed longer than usual to provide us with a wine tour as we arrived later than expected. Very informative and interesting to hear of the introduction of wine integrating into India's culture. We would highly recommend as a lovely stay off. Thank you to all the staff for having us.

We came here for lunch. Chipotle chicken (starter), Penne Rose pasta (pink sauce) and Orange Mojito are really delicious. But, pizza is really bad. We had bad experience of pizza with size and taste. Don’t order spinach cigars also. The place is also peaceful but many house flies which ruined the experience. SULA and Soma are way better than this place. It is very far from city and the road is not well constructed. Limited slots for wine tours and tasting. Either call them before hand or don’t waste your time, fuel and efforts. Dessert wine was also not available. Asked to contact after a month.

Vallonné Vineyards: An Underrated Boutique Gem with Breathtaking Views! Seeking a vineyard experience led me to the stunning and, frankly, underrated boutique hotel, Vallonné Vineyards, and it turned out to be the best decision! The property is absolutely beautiful. We snagged a lake-facing room, and the view was breathtaking, easily the highlight of the stay. The room itself was cozy and cute, perfect for unwinding. The staff here deserve immense praise. They are super friendly, always smiling, and genuinely make you feel like family. Kudos to the entire team for their impeccable hospitality! The food was another huge win. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, with a rich and fabulous spread. Dining outdoors with that morning view during breakfast was a dream. A special mention: we craved kanda bhajiya, and the generous chef and staff not only catered to our out-of-the-blue request but delivered one of the best bhajiyas we have ever had! Seriously, Chef, thank you! Finally, the wines and the tour were excellent. We loved learning about the winemaking process, and they clearly craft lovely wines that cater to every taste. I absolutely, highly recommend Vallonné Vineyards. If you need a beautiful, relaxing, and delicious getaway, make the most of it right here!

A Scenic and Flavourful Escape at Vallonné Vineyards Our visit to Vallonné Vineyards, nestled amidst the tranquil Sahyadri hills near Nashik, was nothing short of spectacular. This boutique vineyard beautifully combines nature, wine, and gourmet dining, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking a relaxed yet indulgent experience. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with breathtaking views of the backwaters of the Mukhne Dam, lush green slopes, and endless vineyards stretching into the horizon. The setting is serene, romantic, and almost meditative — perfect for slow, soulful moments. We started with a guided wine tasting, which was both informative and delightful. Their selection of wines — especially the Rosé and Anokhee Syrah — was top-notch. You could taste the care and craftsmanship in every sip. The team was passionate and knowledgeable, walking us through the process and flavour profiles with genuine enthusiasm. The restaurant, Malaka Spice at Vallonné, was a pleasant surprise. Serving Pan-Asian cuisine with a twist, every dish was beautifully plated and packed with flavour. We tried the Thai curry, stir-fried noodles, and a lovely grilled fish — each dish perfectly complemented by our wine selections. Dining here, overlooking the vineyards and water, felt like being in a European countryside estate. The property also offers charming boutique rooms, ideal for a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat. We didn’t stay overnight this time, but it’s on our list for the next visit. Whether you’re a wine enthusiast, a foodie, or someone who simply appreciates beautiful landscapes, Vallonné Vineyards delivers a complete experience. It’s a hidden gem where every element — wine, food, views, and hospitality — comes together seamlessly. Highly recommended for couples, small groups, or solo travellers looking to sip and unwind in style.

Trimbakeshwar Temple in Nashik is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, making it a cornerstone of Shaivite pilgrimage. Surrounded by the Brahmagiri hills and the origin point of the sacred Godavari River, the temple offers a deeply spiritual and scenic experience. 🌄 Highlights of the Experience: Sacred Jyotirlinga: The temple houses a unique linga representing the Trimurti—Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh—symbolizing cosmic unity. Mythological Legacy: Associated with sage Gautama Maharishi and the descent of the Godavari, the temple is steeped in ancient lore. Architectural Beauty: Built in black stone in the Hemadpanthi style, the temple features intricate carvings and a serene courtyard. Rituals and Pujas: Known for powerful ceremonies like Kaal Sarp Dosh Puja, Narayan Nagbali, and Tripindi Shradh, performed by learned priests. Atmosphere: The air is thick with devotion, chants, and the scent of incense, creating a meditative ambiance. Surroundings: The Brahmagiri hills offer trekking opportunities and panoramic views, enhancing the spiritual journey. Accessibility: Well-connected by road from Nashik, with ample accommodation options nearby. 🕉️ Mood and Legacy: Visiting Trimbakeshwar feels like stepping into a timeless realm where mythology, nature, and devotion converge. The temple doesn’t just offer darshan—it invites introspection and renewal. Whether you're a pilgrim or a seeker of peace, Trimbakeshwar leaves a lasting imprint on the soul.

My visit to Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga was spiritually satisfying, and the darshanam experience itself was quite good. The highlight of the temple is its stunning Hemadpanti architecture from the Balaji Baji Rao period of the Maratha Empire, which gives the entire place a historic and divine charm. The ancient stone structure and peaceful atmosphere inside the sanctum make the visit truly memorable. However, the development around the temple definitely needs improvement. One noticeable inconvenience is the long distance between the donation (special darshan) ticket counter and the main temple entrance. This walk can be tiring, especially for elderly devotees, and better planning would help ease the process. In terms of waiting time, free darshan on Mondays takes around 3 hours, which is expected due to the heavy rush. If you choose the ₹200 donation/special darshan, the waiting time reduces to about 1 hour, making it a more manageable option for many visitors. The main drawback is the lack of cleanliness in the surroundings within roughly 100 meters of the temple. The area could be much cleaner and better maintained, especially considering the significance of the shrine and the steady flow of devotees. Despite these issues, the overall experience was positive. The divine atmosphere and historic beauty of the temple make it worth visiting, and with a few improvements, the experience could be even better.

Visiting Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling in Nashik was an unforgettable spiritual experience. The temple holds immense significance as one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, and you can truly feel the divine energy the moment you enter the premises. The ancient architecture, the rhythmic chants, and the overall atmosphere create a powerful sense of devotion. Despite the crowds, the management is fairly organized, and the darshan line moves smoothly. The priests are helpful and guide you properly during the rituals. The surroundings are scenic, with lush greenery and the sacred Godavari River origin nearby, which adds even more beauty to the visit. Early morning darshan is especially peaceful and gives you the best experience. If you’re in or around Nashik, Trimbakeshwar is a must-visit not just for religious reasons, but for the calmness and spiritual connection the place naturally brings. 🙏

Trimbakeshwar Temple is a very beautiful and peaceful place. It is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, which is located in Nashik, Maharashtra. When I went there, I felt a different kind of positive energy. The temple area is clean, and the environment is full of devotion. I waited for almost 5 hours for darshan, but when I finally saw Lord Shiva’s Jyotirlinga, all the tiredness disappeared. It was such a powerful and emotional moment that I will never forget in my life. The sound of “Har Har Mahadev” everywhere fills your heart with peace. People are very calm and respectful inside the temple. The priests guide nicely, and everything is well managed. Behind the temple, there is a small river, and the view there is just amazing. The water is so clear and peaceful. You can feed the fish, and when you sit near the river, your mind becomes completely calm. The mountains around the place make it even more beautiful. It is truly a place where you can feel peace, faith, and positivity together. A must-visit place for everyone who believes in God and inner peace. 🙏 Har Har Mahadev! 🙏

Visiting Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga is a truly spiritual and unforgettable experience. The moment you enter the temple premises, you feel a deep sense of peace and devotion. The ancient architecture, sacred environment, and the powerful energy of the Jyotirlinga create a divine atmosphere that touches the heart. The temple is well-maintained, and the arrangements for darshan are smooth and organised. Surrounded by the scenic mountains of Trimbak, the natural beauty adds to the serenity of the place. The vibes are pure, calming, and spiritually uplifting. A visit to Trimbakeshwar not only brings you closer to Lord Shiva but also leaves you with a sense of inner peace and positivity. A must-visit destination for every devotee and spiritual seeker. Highly recommended for a soulful and divine experience. 🙏✨

I recently visited Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling for the second time, after my first visit around 7 years ago. Earlier, touching the Shivaling was allowed, but now it is not permitted. This time, I reached the temple around 7:45 AM and planned to take the fast-darshan ticket, but the counter closed at 8:00 AM, so I couldn’t buy it. We then joined the normal line, which took around 4 hours to complete the darshan and come out. The management has provided good facilities throughout the line, including seating areas, drinking water, a baby feeding room, and washrooms. Mobile phones are allowed, and many people were taking photos inside, although security guards were stopping them as photography is not permitted.

Sula Vineyards, located in Nashik, about 180 kilometers northeast of Mumbai, is a renowned winery celebrated for its diverse grape wine varietals such as Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, and Zinfandel. What began as a modest 30-acre estate has now expanded to cover nearly 1800 acres across Nashik and Karnataka. This expansive estate welcomes visitors every day of the year to indulge in wine tasting and vineyard tours.
Sula Vineyards is such a fun and chill place to hang out. The lights and colorful chairs make the vibe really cool at night. Food and wine together taste just perfect here. It’s a nice spot whether you’re with friends or family. The wine truck and gift shop add a quirky touch. Truly a place where you feel the Sula life!
Madhav P — Google review
I recently visited Sula Vineyards with my family 🍇👫, and honestly, it was a wonderful experience even though none of us are wine drinkers 🚫🍷. Many people think Sula is only about wine tasting, but that’s not true — there’s plenty to enjoy without touching a wine glass. The lush green vineyards 🌿, open landscapes 🏞️, and calm ambience ✨ make it an excellent spot for a relaxing getaway. The property is very well-maintained, with lots of open spaces to walk around, click photos 📸🌸, and simply enjoy the fresh air. It truly feels like an escape from the busy city life. The entry fee is ₹1000 per person on weekends and ₹600 on weekdays 💰. The good part is that you get coupons of the same value, which can be redeemed inside at the restaurant or café 🍴. We used ours for food, and while the taste and quality were excellent 😋, the food items are a little on the expensive side 💸. Still, it balances out since the entry fee coupons cover a good part of the cost. Since we didn’t opt for wine tasting, our time was spent exploring the vineyard, enjoying the atmosphere, and relaxing over a family meal. The only drawback was that service can be a bit slow ⏳, and yes, prices are slightly premium. In short: Even if you don’t drink, Sula is still a beautiful, family-friendly place to visit — peaceful, scenic, and a memorable outing! 💫😊

Visited today on 6th October 25. Very very beautiful place to visit. May be no 1 place to visit in Nashik. Makes the Wine Capital of India earn its name. The place is very clean and well maintained. The prices is ₹1000 per head on weekends and 600 on weekdaysfor entry. One can expend this rs 600 in restaurant or wine tasting vum factory visit. The tour is really good and the tasting is fun with well learned guide. 7 types of wines given for tasting.

Sula Vineyards is an absolutely nashik to-do destination, especially if you visit during the late afternoon or evening. We visited on a sunny October evening, and the atmosphere was perfect. The sun setting over the vineyards cast a beautiful golden glow, making for incredible photos and a wonderfully relaxing experience. The expansive grounds are beautifully maintained, offering a tranquil escape from the city hustle. We ordered food bites and enjoyed on the patio overlooking the rows of grapes. The energy in the evening is perfect—lively enough to feel festive, but peaceful enough to enjoy the view and conversation. Whether you're a serious wine enthusiast or just looking for a beautiful spot to unwind and watch the sunset, Sula provides a top-notch experience. Highly recommended for a romantic evening or a chill gathering with friends

We visited Sula Vineyards on a public holiday, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience! On weekends and public holidays, the entry fee is ₹1000 per person, while on weekdays it’s ₹700, which you can fully redeem for food, shopping, or wine tasting—like a prepaid coupon. The property is absolutely stunning, perfect for clicking beautiful pictures amidst the vineyards. We started our visit with a photo session and then headed for lunch. The food was good, though a bit on the expensive side. Post lunch, we opted for the wine tasting and tour (₹700 per person). The tour started with a short video and a factory walkthrough, where the process was explained in detail by their knowledgeable guide. This was followed by a tasting session of six different wines, one after another, which really helped us decide which wine to buy. Overall, Sula Vineyards is a must-visit place, whether with friends or family. It offers a perfect mix of scenic beauty, good food, and a delightful wine-tasting experience.

Visited Sula Vineyards and tasted 6 types of wines — the place was amazing and the overall experience was superb! 🍷 The ambiance and staff were great. However, there’s a small issue with their pricing. They provide ₹1000 worth of coupons (₹200 x 5), but for the vineyard factory visit and wine tasting ticket (₹700), only ₹600 can be redeemed, and ₹100 has to be paid extra. They don’t actually provide ₹100 coupons, which feels a bit misleading in their marketing. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful place and definitely worth visiting once!
ASWANTH S — Google review
Good place to unwind for people travelling to Nashik. Photography points are adequate. The wine tour is good and tasting is a personal choice, since wine is an acquired taste. Their dessert wine Moscato is quite fruity and tastes good. Cover charges are Rs. 1000 on weekends and 600 on weekdays. Wine tasting is Rs. 600 inclusive of tour, only winery tour is 200/- In house restaurants are good but a bit on the pricier side.
ADITYA B — Google review
If you're in Nashik, a visit to Sula Vineyard is an experience you just can't miss. The place has a vibe that instantly makes you feel like you've stepped into a different world - calm, green, and full of life. The entry fee is ₹600 per person, and the best part is that you can fully redeem it at the restaurant, wine shop, or for wine tasting. In fact, Sula proudly says that for many visitors, their first-ever wine tasting happens right here. Walking through the vineyard feels exciting at every step from the giant wine bottle installations and the upside-down wine pyramid, to the quirky cycles and the beautiful grape farms, it's a place where you'll keep wanting to take pictures. The wine shop is airy and well set up, while the restaurant upstairs is the perfect spot to sit back with a glass of wine. We tried their pizza with wine in the afternoon, and with the vineyard view stretching out in front of us, it felt refreshing and peaceful. Overall, Sula Vineyard is more than just about wine - it's about the whole atmosphere, the views, and the experience. Whether you're here for food, photos, or your first glass of wine, it's a place that will leave you smiling

Iur visit to Jampore Beach in Daman was one of the most enjoyable parts of the trip, offering a refreshing mix of seaside charm, relaxation, and local flavor. Unlike the rocky stretches of Devka Beach, Jampore has a much wider and smoother shoreline, making it ideal for walking, sitting by the water, and enjoying the sea breeze. On the day we visited, the weather was pleasant, though slightly humid, with gentle waves lapping against the shore. The expansive beach and calm surroundings created a soothing environment where we could unwind after a busy schedule. The atmosphere was lively, with tourists and families scattered across the stretch, yet it retained a sense of openness that didn’t feel crowded. Jampore Beach is also known for its small eateries and stalls, and we enjoyed some quick bites and refreshing drinks while gazing at the sea. The casual, laid-back vibe makes it an excellent spot to spend quality time with colleagues, friends, or family. A few adventure activities were also available, but we preferred to keep it simple, walking barefoot on the sand and soaking in the natural serenity. One highlight of our visit was relaxing at the beachside shacks, sipping on cool beverages, and letting the sea breeze take away the fatigue of travel. Watching the waves and engaging in light conversations made the experience even more memorable. As the day progressed, the beach grew livelier, with more tourists coming in to enjoy the late afternoon. In all, Jampore Beach is a must-visit in Daman if you are looking for a calm yet vibrant seaside escape. With its clean stretch, good food options, and easygoing vibe, it perfectly captures the coastal charm of this small yet lively city.

Although the beach looked dirty but the joggers' path or the corniche area looked pretty decent. A lot of construction is still in progress to pave the walking path. Cleanliness needs to be improved. Jampore Beach is a serene coastal escape, located about 5 km from Moti Daman Jetty, known for its soft, often blackish or muddy-hued sand and tranquil vibes — a perfect retreat from city life Lined with casuarina or palm-like groves, it offers plenty of shade, making it excellent for leisurely strolls, picnics, and sunsets at any time from late afternoon to evening. Plenty of options offering both veg and non-veg delights — from vada pav, bhel, corn chaat to pomfret fry, prawns, and even coconut water with vodka — all at affordable prices

Devka Beach is a picturesque shoreline with numerous food stalls, bars, and options for camel or horse-riding. Visitors can also find shops and hotels in the vicinity. However, it's important to note that the area is currently undergoing significant construction work as part of a smart city project - leading to high pollution levels and dust that may not be suitable for tourists. As such, it may be better to avoid visiting Devka Beach until construction work is completed by June 22nd.

During our recent trip to Daman, we spent some time at Devka Beach, one of the most well-known spots in the area. The experience was a mix of natural beauty, leisure, and relaxation, perfectly suited for a laid-back Sunday. The beach stretches wide with its rocky shoreline and greyish sand, giving it a unique character compared to the more commercial beaches elsewhere. On the day we visited, the weather was cloudy and slightly humid, with the sound of waves hitting the rocks creating a calm and soothing atmosphere. The breeze made it an enjoyable walk along the promenade, and the views of the Arabian Sea were refreshing despite the overcast skies. The beach area is lively, attracting a good number of tourists and locals alike. Families, groups of friends, and children added to the cheerful atmosphere. Along the stretch, there are small stalls offering quick snacks and beverages, making it easy to grab a bite while enjoying the view. The nearby Devka Amusement Park, though modest, adds a recreational element, especially for those visiting with children. While the beach is not ideal for swimming due to its rocky terrain and strong currents, it makes up for it with its serene walks, open views, and vibrant ambiance. Watching the waves crash against the stones and feeling the sea breeze was a simple yet fulfilling experience. In the evening, the place becomes even livelier with tourists flocking for the sunset view. Although the skies were cloudy during our visit, the atmosphere itself was enjoyable. Overall, Devka Beach is more about relaxation and soaking in the seaside charm rather than adventure. For those looking to unwind in Daman, it is certainly a spot worth visiting.

Saputara Lake, located right at the centre of Saputara in Gujarat, is a large and charming waterbody that forms the heart of this hill station. Its vast size and calm waters create a relaxing atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to begin or end your sightseeing trip. Being centrally located, it’s easy to reach from anywhere in town and often becomes the most photographed place for visitors. The surrounding landscape is excellent, with lush green hills, neatly kept walkways, and a refreshing natural vibe all around. I visited during the monsoon season, and the view of the lake was simply awesome—it was surrounded by drifting clouds, giving it a magical and almost dreamlike appeal. The gentle breeze, combined with the scenic backdrop, made it a truly memorable experience. While the lake is peaceful on most days, it can get crowded during weekends and holidays, so planning your visit accordingly is a good idea. Whether you’re boating, strolling along the shore, or simply sitting and enjoying the view, the calmness of the place is best enjoyed when it’s less busy. One of the most enchanting aspects of Saputara Lake is its night view. The shimmering reflections of lights on the water, combined with the cool evening air, make it a must-see after sunset. A night stroll by the lake is the perfect way to wrap up your day in Saputara. Visit in Night and Day time both.
RANJAN K — Google review
Saputara Lake is naturally beautiful, but the overall experience wasn’t enjoyable. The place was very crowded, and it felt like there was hardly any space to relax or take in the view peacefully. On top of that, almost everything around the lake was costly—food stalls, boating tickets, even basic things like parking. The crowd and high prices really took away from the charm of the lake. It could be a nice spot if managed better, but right now it feels more commercial than relaxing.

A great place to spend time experiencing the mesmerizing view of sunset. The people from different places, the chaat and food, the view, it's an amazing combination. Just a small hurdle is to get your car on top of there at the parking spot. Reach there before 5:30-6:00 pm is all I should suggest.

The point is located at an altitude of approximately 1220 meters above sea level and offers a panoramic view of the Dang forest and the winding roads that lead to the hill station. The serene atmosphere and cool breeze make it a perfect place to unwind and relax after a long day of sightseeing. There are a few small shops and vendors selling snacks and beverages near the Sunset Point, so you can enjoy some refreshments while taking in the view. As the name suggests, it is point to witness the beautiful moment of sun setting down. The shades of different colours appearing on the sky is mesmerizing. Also the aerial view of lake and the town visible from this point is awesome. There are two ways to reach the sunset point, one is through ropeway (which starts from Table point) and other one is by climbing up on the hill. It is almost close to 1 km strenuous climb, the vehicles are not allowed except for the bikes which are provided by the locals on chargeable basis (they charge Rs 100 one way). There are few stalls where water and food are available. For children, there are few recreational stuff such as RC cars, horse rides, etc. There is no entry charge if one decides to climb up while travel through ropeway is chargeable. It is located on height and we can only go by a walk by hiking on the hill. It will take some time. The view is amazing from there.

Beaches
Tranquil shoreline on the Arabian Sea offering a concrete boardwalk & dark sand.
Tithal Beach is a clean and calm place with its unique black, shining sand and plenty of sea shells to collect. I visited this beach with my family last weekend, but unfortunately, I didn’t get much time to spend here as we had to head to another place. The beach has good parking facilities, with a nominal charge of around ₹10-₹20. There’s also a small bazaar on the beach offering a variety of food options. A must-try is the star fruit served with spicy chaat masala—it’s a perfect balance of sweet and sour! You can also find boiled coconut and corn, which are great local snacks. For children, there are vendors with small toy cars, and for those looking for more adventure, camel and horse rides are available. One of the highlights of my visit was a massive sand drawing of Lord Shiva on the beach, which was truly impressive! Overall, Tithal Beach is a great spot to relax and enjoy some local flavors. Would love to visit again with more time to explore!

Very good, and clean beach. Sand is black and is very fine. Good to build sand castles. Very little undercurrent on the beach makes it very safe. Place can be a bot better lit. Become too dark, as soon as sun is set. There can be better food and beverage options, other than small tea and snacks shops.

Tithal Beach offers the perfect setting to unwind and enjoy a peaceful evening. The soothing sound of the waves crashing against the shore creates a calming atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to relax and clear your mind. If you're a photography enthusiast, the sunset here is nothing short of spectacular, with vibrant hues painting the sky and reflecting on the water. The scene is truly eye-catching and a treat for both the eyes and the soul. Whether you're looking to capture stunning photographs or simply enjoy nature’s beauty, Tithal Beach is the place to be for an unforgettable evening.

A very good place for a one day outing. Amenities: Some snacks stores, toys stores, 🌽 shops, battery operated car bike rides for kids. It has paid car parking at a cost of ₹20 as of June 2025. There are paid wash/shower/changing rooms available besides the parking lot where you can get fresh water shower after being into the salty sea water.

We visited Tithal Beach in Valsad during the summer holidays in May 2025, and it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable experiences for our entire family. Despite the summer heat, the cool sea breeze, the soothing sound of waves, and the scenic beauty made the trip extremely refreshing and memorable. Tithal Beach is located just a few kilometers from Valsad city and is easily accessible by road. We reached in the early morning, which gave us the perfect opportunity to enjoy the sunrise over the black sand beach. The morning sunlight reflecting on the gentle waves created a magical atmosphere. We had a lot of fun at the beach – playing in the water, splashing with the waves, and building sandcastles with the kids. The unique black sand added a special charm to the whole experience. Children were especially thrilled and didn’t want to leave the water. Everyone in the family thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful and fun-filled time at the shore. There were many local food stalls near the beach offering delicious snacks like bhajiyas, sweet waffles, coconut water, bhel, and batata vadas, which kept us refreshed throughout the day. The cleanliness of the beach and the maintenance by the local authorities is commendable. Parking space was easily available, and basic facilities like washrooms were also present, making the experience comfortable. We clicked many beautiful pictures and created lasting memories. The calm and natural setting of Tithal Beach provided not just fun but also peace of mind. Even with the weekend crowd, the beach had enough space to relax and enjoy without feeling too busy. Overall, our trip to Tithal Beach was a perfect combination of nature, relaxation, and enjoyment. Whether you're looking for a short picnic, some quality family time, or just a peaceful walk by the sea, Tithal Beach offers it all. We’ve already decided to visit again soon, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a refreshing beachside getaway in South Gujarat.

Gira Waterfalls

Waterfalls
Gira Waterfalls is a stunning natural wonder located in Gujarat's hill station. This picturesque waterfall is most active during monsoon season, with a large flow of water that attracts visitors from all over. However, it is advisable to visit after monsoon season, preferably in October when the rain has subsided and the waterfall can be enjoyed fully. The area also boasts a shopping market where visitors can purchase unique local crafts and artifacts made of wood.
Gira Waterfalls is a gem in Dang region, dramatic during monsoons, serene post‑rain, and surrounded by verdant hills. It’s ideal for a nature getaway, family picnic, or photography trip. Just pack comfy shoes, timing awareness, and a mindset open to simple rural charm. Don’t forget your camera and maybe take home a handcrafted bamboo souvenir.
Nilkanth D — Google review
I visited Gira Dhodh Waterfall again in 2025 on a weekend with my family. The place is always beautiful, but this time the water flow was less compared to my visit in 2024, when it was truly majestic and full of force. Since I went on a weekend, the crowd was quite heavy, which is common at such popular spots. The overall experience was still enjoyable. Around the waterfall area, there are many small stalls and shops selling souvenirs, handicrafts, and local gift items, which add to the charm of the visit. There is also a restaurant and stay facility nearby. The food was fine, but the rooms were not very impressive – okay for a short stay but not something to expect high comfort from. In short, Gira Dhodh is a nice place for a family outing or nature trip, especially during monsoon when the waterfall is at its best. If you want to enjoy it with fewer crowds, visiting on a weekday would be a better choice.

Giradodh Waterfall is a wonderful place to visit, especially during the monsoon season when nature is at its best 🌧️. The experience begins right from the parking area — you have to leave your vehicle outside and walk inside to reach the waterfall. This short walk through the greenery feels peaceful and refreshing, with the sound of birds and flowing water growing louder as you approach 🌿. It’s a simple yet beautiful experience that lets you disconnect from the usual noise of city life and step into pure calmness surrounded by lush forest and fresh air. When you finally reach the waterfall, the view is breathtaking 💦. The water gushes down powerfully, creating a cool mist all around, and the whole area looks alive with greenery and natural beauty 🌈. The atmosphere is quiet and soothing, perfect for nature lovers, photographers, or anyone looking for a peaceful escape. Parking outside and walking in actually makes the place cleaner and more preserved, which is a really good idea. Giradodh Waterfall is truly worth visiting — a hidden gem that feels magical in the monsoon and leaves you refreshed every time.

The beach has potential but falls short in cleanliness and proper maintenance. The area feels quite dirty, and the development seems haphazard and unplanned. Dumas Beach, located near Surat, Gujarat, is known for its distinctive black sand, attributed to the presence of high iron content. While it has a reputation as a haunted location, it is also a popular spot for families and children to enjoy a day out.

⸻ Dumas Beach is one of the go-to weekend spots for Surti people. Whether it’s locals or guests visiting from outside Surat, this beach is always on the list. It’s usually crowded on weekends since everyone comes here to relax, rewind, and chill by the sea. Sometimes the water is far away from the main shore, but it’s still a great place to hang out. There’s also a Mahadev temple nearby where many people go to pray. The beach has a bunch of fun activities like ATV rides, jeep rides, camel rides, etc. You’ll also find photographers who click your pics with a DSLR and give instant digital prints—which is fun and pretty cool! There are lots of small stalls and vendors selling boiled corn, Maggi, and other snacks, making it a typical beach-y food experience. A little ahead of the beach, there’s a super famous spot for Gujarati bhajiyas (fritters), especially during monsoons and winters. You’ll find bhajiyas made of rataru (yam), tomatoes, onions, and even mixed ones. People even visit on Sunday mornings just for bhajiya breakfast! Apart from all this, Dumas is also a popular long-drive spot for Surti folks who just want to escape the city’s hustle for a bit. Lately, a bunch of cute cafes have also opened nearby like Nomads, Social Blend, Kissa, Deiro, Petra, etc. with chill vibes and good ambience. Overall, a must-visit place for a short getaway or beach day with friends and family!

About 20 km southwest of Surat city, on the Arabian Sea coast. Lies along the Tapi River’s mouth, where it meets the sea. Main Attractions 1. Black Sand – The sand is slightly blackish-grey because of high iron and magnetic mineral content. It gives the beach a very unique look, especially during sunrise and sunset. 2. Sea View & Breeze – The beach is wide and open — perfect for evening walks, photography, or just relaxing with the sea breeze. 3. Street Food Heaven – You’ll find many stalls selling Gujarati snacks like: Bhel puri, pav bhaji, bhajiya, gola, sweet corn, and coconut water. 🍴 4. Sunset Point – The sunset at Dumas Beach is one of the most beautiful in Gujarat — orange sky over the Arabian Sea. Love 💕

🌿 Review: Visit to Neelkanth Dham, Poicha — A Divine Spiritual Retreat Date of visit 24 10 2025 Located about 80 kilometers from Vadodara, Neelkanth Dham in Poicha is one of the most serene and spiritually uplifting destinations in Gujarat. The moment you step into the premises, a sense of peace and devotion fills the air. The Swaminarayan Temple at Neelkanth Dham is a stunning example of traditional architecture combined with divine artistry. The temple’s intricate carvings, beautifully sculpted idols, and the serene Narmada river flowing nearby create an atmosphere of deep spirituality and calm. The grandeur of the temple complex, especially when illuminated in the evening, leaves every visitor in awe. One of the highlights of the visit is the Sahajanand Universe, an expansive spiritual theme park that beautifully showcases the life, teachings, and values of Lord Swaminarayan through creative exhibits, sculptures, and audio-visual displays. It is both educational and inspiring, making it enjoyable for devotees as well as families with children. The entire complex is extremely well maintained — clean surroundings, organized pathways, ample parking space, and courteous staff make the experience comfortable and memorable. The sound of devotional chants, the fragrance of incense, and the scenic view of the riverbank add to the divine ambiance of the place. Overall, Neelkanth Dham, Poicha, is not just a temple — it’s a spiritual experience that rejuvenates the mind and soul. Whether you seek peace, devotion, or simply a quiet retreat amidst nature, this sacred destination offers it all. A must-visit place for those exploring the spiritual heritage of Gujarat — perfect for a day trip from Vadodara or a family pilgrimage filled with tranquility and devotion. 🙏

If you are visiting the statue of unity then plan one day for this temple. It's approximately 40 kms from ekta nagar railway station and takes 2 hrs to reach the location. This temple is very huge and mainly for Swaminarayan. However, there are other deities as well. The temple is at the bank of Narmada river. The temple has serene vibes and is very peaceful. The architectural design of the temple is marvelous. There is Kuber temple at the other side of the Narmada river which can be reached by boat. There is shoe locker facility. Also, many shops for buying worship items. Big food court is available and having many varieties. There are kids play zone area on the other side of the temple which is also big. At the entrance of the premises, a huge gaushala is located. You can buy pure cow ghee and other products there. Overall it's worth visiting the temple.

We highly recommend visiting this sacred place, and if your schedule allows, spending a night here would be an unforgettable experience. The culinary offerings at the temple are also exceptional, providing delicious and nourishing meals. It is a destination that nourishes both the soul and the senses.

Nilkanthdham at Poicha is a spiritual and architectural gem. Nestled on the banks of the holy Narmada river, the temple complex feels serene the moment you step in. The detailed carvings, beautiful landscaping, water bodies, and gardens are immaculately maintained and offer a peaceful escape from city life. The food plaza & prasadalay serve good, affordable vegetarian meals; the shops and rest areas are clean & convenient. Even the walking paths and fountains add to the calm vibe, especially during sunset and night when the lights make the place truly magical. If you plan your visit early or later in the day (to avoid the intense midday sun), Nilkanthdham becomes even more enjoyable. Parking is well organised, and there’s a strong sense of spiritual energy that refreshes the soul. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a peaceful spiritual retreat or a family outing

Beautifully constructed temple with water surrounded all around the main temple. The temple complex is huge with miscellaneous stores in the periphery. The temple also gives a beautiful view of river Narmada flowing in the backyard. Toilets are hygienic and parking facility is ample. A GOOD VISIT for family trip.
