One of the best place in Morbi to hangout. I would strongly suggest to visit this place when you are in the city. There is a safe and enough place for parking.
Sunny V — Google review
As one enters Morbi swaying pylons of the suspension bridge and the beatific riverfront is a nostalgic reminder of Victorian London. Located 64 km from Rajkot is the town of Morbi with its quaint cobbled alleyways and buildings reminiscent of 19th century Europe. Morbi’s former ruler Sir Waghji inspired by Colonial influences designed a technologically planned and versatile city. The visitor is welcomed into the city through a grand suspension bridge, an artistic and technological marvel of that period. European influence in town planning further contributed to a central square known as the Green Chowk, approachable by three gates each designed in its own inimitable style incorporating both Rajput and Italian elements.

MOHAMMED S — Google review
The Watson Museum in Rajkot is a hidden gem for history enthusiasts and culture lovers. Located in the heart of the city, it offers a fascinating glimpse into the region's rich heritage. The museum houses a remarkable collection of artifacts, including ancient coins, pottery, sculptures, paintings, and textiles, each telling a unique story of Gujarat's history. The displays are well-organized, and the descriptions are informative, making it easy for visitors to understand the significance of each item. One of the highlights is the collection of artifacts from the Indus Valley Civilization and the tribal art section, showcasing the diversity of Gujarat's culture. The building itself is a colonial-era structure, adding to the charm of the visit. The staff is courteous and helpful, ensuring a pleasant experience. The ticket prices are very affordable, making it accessible to everyone. While the museum is fascinating, it could benefit from better lighting and improved maintenance in some areas. Still, it is an excellent place to spend a couple of hours exploring history.
Akash J — Google review
Must visit place if you are in Rajkot to know the history and traditions of Gujarat. Ticket price was just nominal 5/- as i visited on September 2025 might be to make it affordable to everyone. Outside the Museum park was very beautiful to relax.
Pushyamitra G — Google review
Watson Museum, Rajkot Visiting the Watson Museum was a delightful experience! It offers a fascinating glimpse into the rich history and culture of Saurashtra and Gujarat. Located in the beautiful Jubilee Garden, the museum is housed in a charming colonial-style building that adds to its heritage feel. What I liked: A great collection of archaeological artifacts, coins, sculptures, traditional textiles, and ancient relics from the Indus Valley Civilization. Informative displays on Rajkot’s royal heritage, art, and craftsmanship. Well-maintained galleries that can be explored comfortably in 1–2 hours. Very affordable entry fee (₹5 for Indians). Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Convenient location — just a few minutes from Rajkot Junction. What could be improved: Some exhibits could use better lighting and clearer descriptions. Certain sections feel slightly outdated and could benefit from modern displays or digital guides. Closed on Wednesdays, 2nd and 4th Saturdays, and public holidays — plan accordingly. Tips for visitors: Visit in the morning for a peaceful experience. Combine your visit with a walk in Jubilee Garden and a quick stop at Kaba Gandhi No Delo nearby. Photography is generally allowed, but confirm before taking pictures. Overall, Watson Museum is a must-visit spot in Rajkot for anyone interested in history, culture, and art. It beautifully preserves the essence of Gujarat’s glorious past. Highly recommended! 👏
Bhavik K — Google review
Loved this museum! There was tons of historical knowledge and information. Plenty to show for the history of India and the influences of the British empire. The staff were not the most helpful however the exhibits more than make up for that.
Suraj J — Google review
It's a collection on documentary prototype of mahatma Gandhi life journeys wh8ch are well explained and described. Museums has 40 camp which one of them having unique information. Each camp having separate guide for giving information and guiding. Entry fees for museum is 25₹. There is also free bag storage counter. Staff is good and they treatment is good. Nearest bus station, Railway station or airport is Rajkot. Local transports are there to achieve your locations. No OLA or Uber is available. Shortly is nice place
Suhas ( — Google review
The Watson Museum exhibiting collection of items from around Gujarat. The items are good quality, and arranged thematically. The items on display is a very eclectic mix of items that would not be out of place in a major museum, but arranged in a compact package. Sadly, there’s very little information except for the labels. The religious statues, marble statue of Queen Victoria and the Durbar Hall of the princely states of Gujarat are the most interesting items in the museum. The museum is located inside Jubilee Garden and can be done in about 30 minutes. The cost of entry is trivial, but taking photos is twice the cost of entrance for a foreigner.

The campus showcases a blend of Indian and European architectural styles and has been providing quality education for generations. The city itself is known for its vibrant atmosphere, bustling with people engaged in various activities such as business, leisure, and sports like cricket.

Rajkumar College (known as RKC) is one of the oldest K-12 institutions in India. It was established in 1868 by the erstwhile Princes and Chiefs of Kathiawar. This institution constructed in the Indo Gothic style is spread around 25 acres and is difficult to miss if you are in Dr. Radhakrishnan road in Rajkot. While this institution was only meant for boys (read Princes) in the olden days it is currently a co-educational boarding and day school affiliated to the CBSE. I had an external view of this institution since this is a functioning school and not exactly a tourist location

Beautiful lush green campus....Premiere school...it could possibly be the best school in India for holistic development only thing lacking is Comprehensive Academic Coaching for its students (on other parameters it is at par with the best schools in the nation).
Haresh P — Google review
Dear Public, It is with a mix of disappointment and determination that I address you regarding recent events involving Rajkumar College (RKC) in Rajkot, Gujarat, India. As some of you may know, I, H.H. Prince Manvendra, have recently received an invitation to an event at RKC, indicating that I could bring my husband, H.H. Prince deAndre, Duke of Hanumanteshwar, as my plus one. However, despite this indication on the invitation card, I have been informed that my husband would not be allowed to accompany me to the event. As of the writing of this letter, there has been no further information from RKC regarding this matter. Nevertheless, I feel compelled to share my thoughts and intentions regarding the situation. In solidarity with my husband and in defense of the rights of all individuals, particularly those within the LGBTQIA+ community, I have made the decision not to attend the event. While this decision comes with a sense of sadness, it is also fueled by a deep-seated commitment to fighting for equality and inclusivity. As someone who has personally experienced discrimination and bias, I understand the importance of standing up against injustice and advocating for change. My absence from the event is not a sign of defeat but rather a reaffirmation of my dedication to championing the rights of all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. In India, discrimination against LGBTQIA+ individuals is unequivocally prohibited under the Constitution. Article 19 guarantees the right to freely express one's identity, and recent legal milestones have further advanced the rights of queer and transgender individuals. It is disheartening to witness discrimination persist within institutions like RKC, especially when they should serve as bastions of knowledge, respect, and dignity. I urge RKC and all educational institutions to reflect on their policies and practices, ensuring that they align with the principles of equality and respect enshrined in our Constitution. Let us strive together to create a society where every individual is valued, celebrated, and treated with the dignity they deserve. In solidarity and with unwavering resolve, H.R.H. There are rides packages available at entrance at nominal cost like Rs 200 or so for 10-12 rides else one can also pay for individual rides at multiple counters present inside the premises as well. The place is majorly clean and toilet and water facility are available. Some options for Snacks icecreams etc are also available. One can find free Parking on main road outside. During late evening times the crowd is too much so one has to wait in long queues for his/ her turn for each ride. Overall nice breakout place for couple of hours.

It is a must visit and best place for kids to see different cultures around the world and that too under one roof. The Dolls Museum is one of it's kind with amazing dolls from around the world. A must visit place in Rajkot. The cultures of different countries are being reflected with the eye catchy doll setups. The place reflects different cultures from around 102+ country with 1600+ Dolls in museum. It's on 2nd and 3rd floor. There is a lift available. Monday is closed. The staff is also very well informed and they narrated us the complete story behind the set up of this museum. The main thing is no doll being purchased, but all dolls are being gifted by all rotary clubs around the world… The entry fee is Rs. 30 per person. There is extra Rs. 30 charge per camera if you want to take photographs. Cool place....

It's is one of the best museum of Gujarat, to understand the global culture. However its in narrow area, parking is also little problem. Worth to visit. Spare 1-2 hours.
Lalit G — Google review
A unique museum!! It's a rare opportunity to see a Dolls museum, here in Rajkot. Good to visit with children. The museum is situated on 2&3 rd floors. The lift was not working when we reached there. We had to climb steps. It was built by an ex Rotary president of Rajkot for his daughter. He wrote mails to Rotary branches of the world and hence many international branches sent dolls representing their country and regions. It takes around 1 hour to see all the exhibits. The rooms are air conditioned. The tickets cost ₹30 per adult and ₹15 per child. It costs another ₹125 if you want to click photos. The dolls represent their country's costume and culture. Children can spend good time there. However make sure they have emptied their bladder before. Because the toilet here is a medieval era one, on the ground floor. I wish the Rotary club would pay attention and renovate the toilet as kids come to this place.

In one word it is simply A Magical Journey Through Cultures! The Rotary International Dolls Museum in Rajkot is a fascinating wonderland for children of all ages: Over 1,600 dolls from 102+ countries, each showcased in traditional attire and set up with miniature scenes that let kids explore global cultures at a glance. Recognized in the Limca Book of Records for its unique and expansive collection. The displays include everything from folk dance dolls (like Bhangra and Dandiya) to Barbie and Einstein figurines, string/glove puppets, and even a rare Rocking Zebra—only one of five in the world! The themed showcases are beautifully lit and educational, with info about the country, culture, music, and costumes for each doll. Friendly and helpful staff guide visitors through the exhibits and share the fascinating stories behind many dolls. Includes interactive spaces like a cinema hall showing documentaries and cultural films, a Foreign Language Learning Centre, and a souvenir shop with stickers, postcards, and miniature flags. The Rotary International Dolls Museum is a safe, clean, and well‑maintained spot with plenty of visual stimulation and educational value. It’s perfect for a fun and cultural outing with kids. Every visit feels like a mini‑world tour where curious children can learn about cultures around the globe through beautiful doll displays. Note: Highly recommended Mainly for Kids.

A total different experience. Must visit, just 30₹ pp entry fees. This museum is surely made due to low and attraction towards dolls by rotary club. Definitely not a commercial thought process. Much appreciate the concept. They have 2 floors of museum, soveniour shop inside and collection of 1800+ different dolls from approx. 108 countries. Totally different and unique experience. Worth visiting. Please note its closed on Monday.
Sanjog K — Google review
It’s been great to see a father’s commitment to her daughter for building such a dolls museum because he wasn’t able to make her daughter saw museum in Delhi. Many activities are going on here with just deposit and if full attendance then they refund full amount. Really well preserved all dolls in museum and one Zebra ride kind of activity is great for kids.

Amazing, surprising, charming and mesmerizing world of Dolls from every corner of world. This may seem to be a children's attraction...But no..Not all. This is the world of innocence, beauty. This place was a true hidden gem once upon a time for Rajkot and all saurashtra people. The evening time was absolutely incredible, with each time fresh air and friends. The menu offers by street food vendors ...a great variety, and everything we ordered exceeded our expectations. Beyond the delicious food, the ambiance was just perfect—the lighting by corporation due to festival and decor created a cozy setting roadside . which made the entire evening a pleasure. We're already looking forward to our next visit during Diwali or navratri

Crystal Mall is an enchanting destination with impeccable interior design and illumination. The captivating interiors are truly mesmerizing, especially the expansive and breathtaking waiting area. While the bathroom was satisfactory, it lacked partition between two toilets. The theater boasts comfortable and remarkable seats, delivering exceptional movie and video quality complemented by impressive sound systems. However, the air conditioning in the waiting area needs improvement as it pales in comparison to the cinema hall's superior cooling system.
Crystal Mall delivers a refined and enjoyable shopping experience. The mall's design is contemporary, with wide walkways and open spaces,Entry and exit processes are smooth and well-monitored. The Crystal Mall is a decent spot for quick shopping trips. It has a fair selection of stores, including a few clothing shops, a convenience store, cinema and food court with basic options. While it’s not very big or fancy, it’s clean and easy to navigate. Parking is usually available, though it can get busy on weekends. Good for everyday needs but not the place for a full day of shopping or entertainment.

Khijadia bird sanctuary is a popular destination for bird watchers and nature lovers. It's located at around 15 Kms from Jamnagar. It's said that, the sanctuary is home to more than 220 species of birds including both, migratory and resident birds. The best time to plan your trip is from October to February when the migratory birds make their way to the sanctuary. Try to visit the sanctuary early in the morning, if possible. There are two parts to the Sanctuary. 'Part I' which is a stretch of around 6 Kms and no vehicles are allowed in this area. You have to walk to see the birds and experience the beauty of nature. 'Part II' which is a stretch of around 4 Kms and vehicles are allowed in this area. The entry ticket is Rs. 50 per person. The timing of the sanctuary is 6 AM to 5 PM.

Although just a casual temple but the best part is that from last 60 years there have been jap going on of "Shree Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram" non stop 24x7x365 and that too not by recording audio it is done by people. The temple trust has appointed people who works in shifts and common people can also join them. But being such a famous temple the washroom were filthy. The campus was not well maintained and cleaned.

I recently had the most calming and soul-soothing experience at the Dwarkadhish Temple. It is truly one of the most magnificent and spiritually enriching temples I’ve ever visited. Mobile phones are not allowed inside the temple, which only added to the sense of peace and presence. I was fortunate to visit last weekend when there was no crowd at all. I even had the rare opportunity to sit quietly inside for 15–20 minutes, completely immersed in the serenity and the sound of prayers. The temple is beautifully surrounded by the Arabian Sea, which adds to its divine charm. After stepping out, I spent hours by the shore, watching the waves and soaking in the tranquil energy. It was a deeply blissful and unforgettable experience.

Ranmal Fort

Specialty Museums
Lakhota Fort is a historic 19th-century fortress located on an island in the middle of Lakhota Lake in Jamnagar, Gujarat, India. The fort's architecture reflects a blend of Rajput and European styles and it was once the original seat of the Jamnagar ruler. Surrounding the fort is Ranmal Lake, adding to its picturesque setting.
"Uncovering History at Ranmal Fort, Jamnagar - A Hidden Gem!" Rating:_ 4/5 I recently had the privilege of visiting Ranmal Fort in Jamnagar, Gujarat, and it was a truly enriching experience. This 16th-century fort, built by the Jadeja dynasty, is a treasure trove of history and architecture. As I entered the fort, I was struck by its sheer size and grandeur. The fort's walls, though weathered by time, still exude a sense of majesty. The intricate carvings, ornate gates, and majestic towers left me awestruck. The fort's history is palpable in every nook and corner, with whispers of the past echoing through the empty corridors. The museum within the fort premises houses an impressive collection of artifacts, further enriching the experience. The entry fee is reasonable, with a Rs 10/person charge at the first gate and Rs 25/person for the museum. Although I couldn't experience the night light view of the palace due to my early departure, I've heard it's breathtaking. Overall, Ranmal Fort is a must-visit for travel enthusiasts and photographers. The peaceful atmosphere under the shades of the trees is a bonus. However, the lack of maintenance and signage made navigation a bit challenging. Note that photography is not allowed inside the museum.

Even though I m native to this place, considering my hometown this place has seen many good, better and best days as what it was earlier and what now it going be has rich history behind to it. This Fort which is build by royals also known as royal family of jamnagar [Jam Dynasty i.e. Jam Rawal] back in date of 8th Century to 18th Century it has historical background. Till date the galore of its significance of this place has adopt the great heritage symbol as well as historical antiques too In current the renovation and beautification of this place has brought the new definition and importance of the said place but the authentication of the place itself is compromised [Lime stone build] Nothing wrong in that the arrangement and maintenance has charm up like brightening star having its own glory. Although the new beautification is ought to be challenging but again it gain popularity, boosted tourism, cleanliness and management have been top notch from the time being Ranmal Fort has its own legacy and its still carrying on till the date now on too...

The Lakhota Palace of Jamnagar is one of the main tourist attractions of Gujarat, which can not be missed during your travels in the state monuments. It is a small palace located on the island of Lahotah Lake. The beautiful Lakhota Palace was once home to the Maharaja of Nawanagar. It was built in the form of a fort, with a semi-circular fortress, tartets and pavilions, which. Contains guards featuring swords, muscat loops, and powder floss. One of the most fascinating of the rich. Past of royal India, Jamnagar's tour is definitely to be believed, if you are planning a trip to Gujarat. The former princely state of Jamnagar is still alive, excited about the standing time of prosperity as a silent witness to the prosperity of the era, which has a strong influence on the life of Jamnagar, but also includes the perfection of the province, which is still Very important for the city, Jamnagar The long list of different forts and monuments, perhaps, leads to the strange beauty of the Lakhota Palace, Jamnagar. When i visited this temple, it was very less crowded (hardly 10-15 people). The temple is beautifully designed and constructed. Marble carving is a great example of art. It was a very peaceful and great example for me. I would recommend visiting once if you are around the temple.

Narara Reef

Nature & Parks
National Parks
Narara Reef The only drawback is that the road leading towards Narara Reef is poorly maintained, so reaching the site is abit difficult. But once we reach the experience is totally worth it. A wonderful experience exploring the marine life at Narara Reef. We were amazed to see starfish, octopus, crabs, puffer fish, and beautiful sea grapes during the low tide walk. The place is a paradise for nature and sea lovers. Our guide Sabir explained everything very well and made the visit truly informative and enjoyable. A must-visit spot for anyone who loves marine adventures and wants to witness the beauty of nature up close! 🐙🐠🌾

Good spot for day picnic. U must reach at 7.30-8 am.. there isn't any Shop or cafe nearby so bring your own food n tea coffee..end of winter is best time. There are very few sea creatures one will find. Children above 6 are suitable. After tracking we visited khijadia bird sanctuary.

Narara reef is a quite, peaceful and uncommon. You can see live sea life during low tide period such as aquatic organisms, plants and colourful sponges and corals, sea cucumber, sea grapes, sea brittle star fish, octopuses, Puffer fish, etc. It is a different type of experience to go walking inside the sea during low tide.

It was an amazing experience to see a ocean animals like puffer fish, octopus, corals, sea cucumber and crabs live. You may hold them in your hands, feel them how beautiful they are. This place is worth visiting with your family & friends. But you must know the timing of low tide then only u can see these ocean creatures. In high tide they are not visible. U have to walk up to 3 to 4 km in water. Best time is morning 7 o'clock at that time u can explore more. U can have picnic there with your friends & family.Water level just above your ankle. Must carry ur shoes to walk in the water. Kids have enjoyed a lot. For us also it was very new experience, never thought before of holding these creatures in our hands. It was just Wow....... Nature is Beautiful😍❤😍 love it.
SHIKHA S — Google review
OMG!! Where do I begin, it felt like the most underrated place in India! Had it been in some other country people would be going crazy. Please ensure you reach the place during low tide & have at least 2-3 hrs to explore. So we reached the counter, got our tickets & a guide (taking a local guide is must they charged us Rs 500 but rates are from Rs 300) & began our walk towards the reef, (do wear waterproof shoes as the path is slippery & you have to walk in water. They also provide shoes at ₹30), we saw so many marine life that we never knew existed like transparent prawns, joint animal, flatworm, octopus, puffer fish, oysters, crabs, live corals like moon coral, pineapple coral! It is an out of the world experience. This place is a must visit.

A truly divine and peaceful experience at Harsiddhi Mata Temple in Harshad. Located on a scenic hilltop overlooking the Arabian Sea, the views are absolutely breathtaking and the spiritual energy is powerful. The temple is clean, well-maintained, and the climb of around 200 steps is manageable and rewarding. The darshan was peaceful and the atmosphere very serene. Locals are welcoming, and there’s a small bhojanalaya that serves simple and tasty prasad. A perfect blend of devotion, natural beauty, and calm. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the Porbandar area!

Gopi Talav Theertham

Mentioned on

Lake
Sights & Landmarks
Points of Interest & Landmarks
Gopi Talav Theertham, an ancient talav in Dwaraka, India, has a history dating back over 5000 years. It is believed to be the place where Lord Krishna performed the ras Leela and rescued 16000 royal princesses from the demon Narkasura. After promising to marry all of them and give them a respectful position in society, he met his 16000 wives at this location before leaving the earth.
Gopi Talaw ,Dwarka Gopi Talav is a medium size lake located around 19 km from Dwarka and near Nageswar Jyotirlinga Temple. When Lord Krishna shifted his capital to Dwarka, the gopis of Vrindavan couldn’t bear this separation. They came to meet him in Dwarka and performed Raas on the day of Sharad Poornima. After the Raas, they decided to give up their lives to the soil of this land and merged with Lord Krishna. The soil here is very fine and smooth having a yellow hue and the local people say, to have divine properties that can cure many diseases, especially those related to skin diseases. Today, many tourists purchase this soil, popularly known as Gopi Chandan, as a token of their visit to this pond. I purchased the same yellow soil from this place, what the villagers mentioned as Multani Mitti. It was very cheap compared to that available in shops. The whole area around Gopi Talav is made up of ghats for bathing with many shrines built around them. Many species of fishes and birds are found here thus contributing to a great atmosphere for photography too. Gopi Talav is an important component of Dwarka’s sightseeing tour. There are a lot of temples around this pond. But, it's not clear why those are built! ****
Shyamal D — Google review
Recently I visited this place. Here is my review: - Roads to reach here was in bad condition. - People were feeding fishes of this pond and cows nearby pond. - No cleanliness. - I couldn't find washroom in this place. - Food was not so good.
Mayank S — Google review
The history of tourism at Gopi Talav is tied to the larger history of Dwarka as a pilgrimage site. Dwarka is considered to be the ancient kingdom of Lord Krishna, and Gopi Talav is intimately connected to Krishna divine play with the Gopis (milkmaids) of Vrindavan. According to legend, it is here that the Gopis came to see Lord Krishna in Dwarka, and their love and devotion turned the soil into yellow clay, known as Gopi Chandan. Pilgrims often collect this clay as a sacred memento.
SACHIN R — Google review
This is a pond and not a lake. This pond has a historical dimension dating back to 5000 BC. As per the legend, the gopis sacrificed themselves by entering in this pond in order to prevent themselves from attacking forces. They turned into chandan (sandal). Many vendors selling chandan near this pond. Pls check for originality before buying because sometimes it's fake. This lake is also known as Amrit Sarovar and the small footpath around it is maintained by Tata Chemicals as a part of CSR initiatives. You can get to see many peacocks and peahens around.

Nice Temple with Beautiful Surroundings – Some Care Needed The temple is really nice and peaceful, a great place to visit. There’s also a small *talab* (pond) nearby which adds to the beauty—but it needs a bit more care. Planting some small plants or flowers around it would make the area even more beautiful and refreshing. One good thing is that there are small food stalls nearby. You can enjoy a variety of local snacks like **dhokla, khaman, bhaji**, and even fresh **nariyal pani** (coconut water). The **dahi chhaas** (buttermilk) is really tasty, and it’s only ₹20 per glass! You can also get **Multani mitti sticks** for just ₹10. Tip: If you're visiting, take some time to enjoy the local snacks and relax near the pond. Also, do your part to keep the area clean and green!
Haripriya Y — Google review

There is currently nothing to see at Gopi Talav. This historic site, which is over 5,000 years old, deserves better preservation and enhancement by the government. There is much potential for improvement, but as of now, there is little to explore here.

Its located about 30 kms from Dwarkadheesh. Nearest train station is Okha. After reaching there you have to travel by boat. They charge Rs 20 per head one way. Most of time boat is kind of overloaded and not at all comfortable. Putting life jacket is mandatory else you may be fines rs 500 as fine. After about 20 minutes ride once you reach bank, you have to walk about 700 meters. That area is untidy. Temple is good. It remains closed between 1pm to 5pm. So when planning to go there, plan accordingly as journey to bet dwarka from dwarkadheesh takes about 1 hr 30 minutes including boat time.

This ranks among the best places I've visited, and like every spiritual site, it unfolds a story – the tale of friendship. Lord Krishna, the king of Dwarka, shared a bond with a less affluent friend, emphasizing that true richness lies in the heart. In Beyt Dwarka, the pandits and locals have been narrating this timeless friendship tale, serving as a reminder that bonds should be nurtured from the heart, regardless of worldly matters. This place, unlike a bustling city, experiences limited electricity, and darkness descends with the setting sun. It's advisable to leave before sunset for safety reasons. Having visited approximately two years ago, I must highlight the potential risks of traveling by boat on the sea route. Exercise caution to ensure boats don't overload, as there are no life jackets provided. Wishing all travelers a safe and enriching journey, may you receive abundant blessings from the divine.

Shri Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple is a grand Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Shiva, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. The temple features a magnificent and artistic statue of Lord Shiva that captivates both tourists and pilgrims. It is particularly bustling during the celebration of Shivratri, drawing in large numbers of devotees.
A Must-Visit Jyotirlinga – Truly Divine Experience This is one of the 12 sacred Jyotirlingas, and it’s the third one I have visited. It’s a really beautiful and peaceful place with amazing energy. The temple area is very big and well-maintained. There is also a small *talab* (pond) nearby, which adds even more beauty to the temple surroundings. The whole place feels very calm and divine. The route to the temple is something I can’t even describe in words. It’s full of greenery, flowers, and even ponds full of lotus flowers. The natural beauty on the way makes the journey even more special. If you go there, you’ll definitely feel the same peaceful and happy vibes. You must visit this temple at least once—it’s truly a special experience.

Nageshwar Jyotirling Temple, located near Dwarka in Gujarat, is one of the 12 sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and a deeply spiritual destination. The divine atmosphere here instantly fills you with peace and devotion. The towering Shiva statue outside the temple is magnificent and adds to the serene beauty of the place. The temple is clean, well-managed, and surrounded by a calm environment — perfect for meditation and prayers. The darshan is smooth, and you can feel a powerful spiritual energy inside the sanctum. It’s a must-visit for anyone traveling to Dwarka, not just for religious reasons but also to experience the divine serenity of this holy site.

I visited the temple recently and had a very good experience. There was no waiting time, and entry was smooth and well-organized. Darshan was easy, although visitors are not allowed to go very close to the Shivling. The temple surroundings are peaceful, and the overall atmosphere is very spiritual. Outside the temple, there are plenty of food stalls and small shops where you can enjoy local snacks and refreshments. The view around the temple is amazing and adds to the divine experience. A must-visit place for devotees and travelers alike — calm, beautiful, and well-maintained.
Prachi S — Google review
Nageshwar Jyotirling in Dwarka is praised as a spiritually profound and peaceful pilgrimage site. As one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas, it holds immense significance for devotees of Lord Shiva. Visitors are often struck by the temple's serene atmosphere, which is conducive to quiet prayer and reflection, especially on weekdays when crowds are smaller. Many reviews highlight the impressive and monumental statue of Lord Shiva, a major attraction situated outside the main temple. The temple and its surrounding grounds are described as well-maintained and clean, enhancing the overall experience. While free darshan is available, a paid puja option allows devotees to perform abhishek more intimately. Crowd management is generally considered excellent, with separate queues for men and women helping to maintain order. Visitors note that the temple is busiest on Mondays and festival days like Maha Shivaratri. Amenities such as toilets and shoe racks are available, and the temple provides a spacious parking area. Despite some reports of commercialization inside, many find the spiritual energy to be palpable and deeply fulfilling.
Subham S — Google review
Nageshwar Jyotirling Temple is one of the most divine places I’ve visited in Gujarat. The moment you enter, you can actually feel the spiritual energy and calmness around. The huge Shiva statue outside the temple looks absolutely majestic and adds to the sacred vibe of the place. The temple is neat and well maintained, and darshan is usually smooth if you go early in the morning. The priests are polite and guide you properly for abhishek and puja. The evening aarti is truly mesmerizing — the chants, bells, and atmosphere make it a very peaceful experience. ✅ Pros Serene and spiritual environment Impressive 80-ft Lord Shiva statue at the entrance Clean and organized temple premises Evening aarti is a must-attend experience Good facilities for footwear, restrooms, and drinking water ⚠️ Cons Gets very crowded on Mondays and during Shivratri Parking area could be better organized The road from Dwarka to the temple has some bad patches 🕉️ Tip: Visit early morning (before 8 AM) to avoid rush and get a peaceful darshan. Carry water and wear comfortable clothes as you may need to stand in queue for a while.
Varun D — Google review
Nageshwar Jyotirlinga is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas located in Dwarka district of Gujarat, which is of great importance. If anyone wants to visit Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, then it would be better to go on normal days. Because during holidays and festivals, there is a lot of crowd there, so you will not be able to have a peaceful darshan. Very good arrangements have been made for parking vehicles in the area around the temple. The toilets located around the temple are chargeable and the arrangements are very bad, which everyone should take care of, which we have had a bitter experience where there is no cleanliness even after paying money.

Clean amd salty water. You can enjoy boat ride here. Visit gomati sagnam with sea and also opposite river bank and watch temple beauty at evening.
Dhvl G — Google review
By the mercy of Sri Dwarkadhisa, the waters of Gomati River are crystal clear, unlike many rivers around the world. When river waters are full, one can see clearly the river bed and one’s reflection. Since Gomati is a tidal river, its waters at times recede and other times are full. It is very auspicious to take bath at Gomati River. Gomati Sangam Ghat is the sacred place where Gomati River flows. This ghat can be reached by climbing down 56 steps from the Swarga Dwar of the Dwarkadhisa Temple. Gomati River meets the sea at the Chakratirtha Ghat. The Chakratirtha Ghat is famous for a wheel with white porous type stones, called as Dwarkashila or Chakrankitha.

Nestled along the picturesque coastline of Dwarka, the Shree Dwarkadhish Temple stands as a remarkable testament to Hindu devotion and architectural brilliance. Dating back to 400 BC, this temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and features an impressive tiered main shrine crafted from pure white marble by the Birla family in 1970. Visitors are often captivated by its unique acoustics—clapping your hands once can produce echoes that resonate seven times!
The area near the temple is known for its beautiful sights, which can be very calming. It is believed that the place has a very positive and uplifting atmosphere. This can be a wonderful experience for anyone seeking peace and tranquility. Sharing your photos can help others experience the beauty and atmosphere of the place as well. My visit to Dwarka Temple was unforgettable. As I walked towards the temple, the sound of the sea and the sight of the tall shikhara gave me goosebumps. Inside, the atmosphere was peaceful yet powerful. The evening aarti was the highlight hundreds of devotees singing together created pure magic. It’s one of those places where you truly feel close to God.
Nikunj S — Google review
Temple is good but isn't managed well! They should plan for proper queue system to ensure everyone gets to move freely and without any rush. A lot of pushing from the cops and fellow devotees makes it difficult for kids and aged devotees.
Sanjay K — Google review
The moment you enter the temple area, the atmosphere becomes peaceful and spiritual. The temple is grand, beautifully maintained, and full of positive energy. Even with people around, the place feels calm and welcoming. The approach to the temple is easy, with markets and small shops on both sides, giving a lively feeling of an old holy city. You can deposit phones and bags outside, and the process is well organised. It’s good to arrive a little early, especially during weekends or festival days, to avoid long queues. Inside the temple, the darshan is quick and well managed. Standing in front of Dwarkadhish (Lord Krishna) gives a feeling that’s difficult to describe—peaceful, powerful, and emotional at the same time. The carvings, the old architecture, and the chanting add to the beauty of the experience. After darshan, you can walk towards the Gomti River, which is just behind the temple. The view of the ghat and the sea breeze makes the visit even more special. If time allows, visiting again in the evening for Aarti is highly recommended.

The Rukmini Devi Mandir, located in Dwarka, Gujarat, India, is a 12th-century temple dedicated to the Hindu goddess Rukmini, the beloved consort of Lord Krishna. The temple's architecture showcases intricate stone carvings depicting human figures, elephants, and various gods and goddesses. Away from the city center, this spiritual destination offers a serene escape for reflection and prayer.
Beautiful Temple, But Needs Care Rukmani Mata Mandir is a beautiful example of ancient architecture. The carvings and design are really amazing. It shows the great art of old times. But the temple needs some repair and more care. The area around it also needs better cleaning, lights, and a bit of gardening to make it look nicer. The temple is made of sandstone, so if it’s not restored soon, we might lose its beautiful design. It’s a special place and deserves better maintenance.
Haripriya Y — Google review
The Rukmini Devi Mandir in Dwarka, Gujarat, is a beautiful temple dedicated to Goddess Rukmini, the beloved consort of Lord Krishna. Located about 2 kilometers from the main Dwarkadhish Temple, it is an important pilgrimage site that reflects the divine love and separation of Krishna and Rukmini. According to legend, Rukmini Devi once angered the sage Durvasa by stepping ahead of him while serving food to Lord Krishna. The sage cursed her to live separately from Krishna, which is why her temple stands apart from the main Dwarkadhish Temple. This story gives the shrine a deep emotional and spiritual meaning for devotees. Architecturally, the Rukmini Mandir is a fine example of 12th-century craftsmanship, built in Nagara style with beautiful stone carvings depicting various deities and celestial beings. The sanctum houses a delicate idol of Goddess Rukmini, adorned with ornaments and bright clothing. The temple’s peaceful surroundings, detailed carvings, and rich mythology make it a must-visit spot for pilgrims visiting Dwarka. Many devotees believe that visiting both Dwarkadhish Temple and Rukmini Devi Mandir completes the spiritual journey and brings harmony and blessings to married life.
Rudesh K — Google review
According to legend, Sage Durvasa cursed Rukmini to live apart from Krishna after she drank water without offering it to him first. As a result, her temple stands at a distance from Krishna’s—symbolizing separation, but also her strength and meditative penance. Inside the sanctum, Rukmini is depicted holding Shankha, Chakra, Gada, and Padma, radiating divine energy. Devotees often perform jal daan (water offering), a unique ritual tied to the legend.
Vijay M — Google review
The Rukmini Temple in Dwarka, located about 2 km from the main Dwarkadhish Temple dedicated to goddes Rukmini. There is story why Rukmini ia away from Dwarikadhesh. During the long journey, Rukmini grew intensely thirsty. Seeing her exhausted state, Krishna stopped the chariot and pressed his big toe into the earth. A spring of the holy Ganges water immediately emerged, forming a well to quench her thirst. Rukmini drank the water without first offering it to their guest, Sage Durvasa. The sage, observing this act of perceived impoliteness, became enraged. He cursed Rukmini to be separated from her beloved husband, Krishna, This is the reason Rukmini Temple is away from Sri krishna temple and they never meet. There is no cleanliness. They offer water as prasad nd say it's of the same we'll which Krishna is created which is 20 km away and brings water by tanker. But don't find space or water tanks to store water. Also how much water we'll has ia also a question mark.

Rukmini Devi Temple, located about 2 km from Dwarkadhish Temple, is a serene and spiritually rich shrine dedicated to Goddess Rukmini, the beloved consort of Lord Krishna. The temple’s peaceful surroundings and ancient architectural charm make it a beautiful experience for pilgrims and travelers alike. The temple stands gracefully with intricate carvings that reflect ancient craftsmanship and devotion. Inside, the idol of Maa Rukmini is beautifully adorned, radiating divine grace and positivity. The priests explain the temple’s fascinating history and the story of why Rukmini is worshipped separately from Lord Krishna — adding depth and meaning to the visit. The area is clean and well-maintained, with ample space for devotees to sit, meditate, or offer prayers peacefully. Since it’s a bit away from the main city temple, it feels calm and less crowded, allowing visitors to connect spiritually.

Very nice temple. The priest explained the story behind the temple.the temple is believed to be over 2,500 years old, the current structure dates to the 12th century and is known for its intricate carvings. Its location, separate from the Dwarkadhish temple, is linked to a legend involving sage Durvasa's curse after Rukmini drank water before him. Here water is given as a prasd to all devotees.

Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Temple is a unique and peaceful Shiva temple located on a peninsula that extends into the ocean, offering stunning sunset views. This holy Hindu site, dedicated to the Bhagavad Gita, was built in 1970 with pure white marble by the Birla family. The temple's acoustics are known for creating echoes when you clap your hands. Accessible only during low tide, reaching the temple feels like a pilgrimage through nature's whims.
One of my Favourite place where I feel peace and lost ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐this time I visiting early 3:30 at the temple I completely start getting feeling spiritual energies and power💫🚩📿 Ancient Origins: The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, known here as Bhadkeshwar Mahadev. It is believed to be more than 5,000 years old and holds great spiritual significance for Shaivites as well as devotees of Lord Krishna. Location: The temple is built on a small hill-like structure that projects into the Arabian Sea. During high tide, the temple is surrounded by water, and in low tide, devotees can easily walk to it. Right now they have developed many facilities and kept relling around temple...IN THE END.....READ 👇🏻 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I always love visiting Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Temple 🙏. The location is absolutely divine, right by the sea 🌊, and during high tide the temple looks magical. Every time I go, it feels so peaceful and spiritual ✨. The area around the temple has really developed in recent years 👍 — you’ll find snacks 🍿🥤, clean drinking water 🚰, and even washrooms 🚻 which makes the visit comfortable. For families and kids, there are fun activities too like camel rides 🐪 and horse rides 🐎 right outside. It’s a perfect blend of spirituality and a refreshing outing. Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Mandir 🕉️ is a very peaceful and spiritual place. The temple has a calm and relaxing atmosphere, and the location is beautiful with the Arabian Sea 🌊 all around. It feels very refreshing to sit here, enjoy the cool breeze 🌬️, and spend time in the peace of Mahadev ji 🙏. There is also a small mela-like vibe 🎪 around the temple, with many stalls and snacks 🍴 available to eat, which adds to the charm of the visit. It’s a nice place not just for darshan, but also to relax with family or friends while enjoying the sea view 🌅. One humble request to everyone visiting — please do not litter 🚮 or throw garbage around. Let’s keep this place clean and pavitra ✨, so that everyone can continue to enjoy its beauty and peace 🌸.

Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Temple is a peaceful and divine spot right by the Arabian Sea. The view of waves touching the temple during high tide feels truly magical. It’s one of those rare places where nature and spirituality meet perfectly. The sound of the sea and the cool breeze create a calming vibe, especially during sunrise or sunset. Though the temple is beautiful, the approach area could be cleaner and parking is limited during peak hours. Still, it’s a must-visit when in Dwarka — a perfect place to find peace away from the crowd. --- ✅ Pros Located beside the sea — scenic and photogenic views Peaceful and spiritual atmosphere Amazing sunrise & sunset experience Less crowded compared to Dwarkadhish Temple Great spot for meditation and photography --- ❌ Cons Cleanliness around the approach road needs improvement Path gets submerged during high tide — check timings Limited parking and no proper eateries nearby Few basic facilities like restrooms or benches

Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Temple: Where the Ocean Itself Worships Shiva!. A Divine Sunset Experience You Cannot Miss! If you are in Dwarka, this is where you go for the most unforgettable sunset and a truly unique spiritual experience. Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Temple is not built near the sea; it's built on it, perched on a rocky outcrop that makes it feel like a tiny, sacred island. The Phenomenon of the Sea Abhishekam The most captivating feature is the one that happens by nature: during the monsoon (typically June/July), the Arabian Sea itself rises to embrace and submerge the entire temple, performing a divine Abhishekam (ritual water offering) to the ancient Swayambhu (self-manifested) Shivalinga. This legend makes the temple feel ancient, mystical, and profoundly connected to the elemental forces. The Perfect Time to Visit Timing is everything here! You must check the low tide schedule to walk easily to the temple. * Sunset: Absolutely spectacular. The golden light reflecting off the crashing waves against the cliff face is a photographer's dream and a soul-soothing sight. * Low Tide: This is when the pathway is fully accessible, allowing you to peacefully make your way to the sanctum. Serenity on the Edge of the World The temple itself is small, simple, and incredibly peaceful. Surrounded by the roar of the ocean on three sides, the atmosphere is perfect for quiet meditation. The path leading out to the temple is an amazing walk, making you feel completely surrounded by the sea and sky. Conclusion: This is not just a place of worship; it’s a geographical wonder and a spiritual retreat rolled into one. Come for the Mahadev darshan, stay for the jaw-dropping sunset, and leave with a profound sense of peace. A Dwarka trip is incomplete without this sacred, seaside encounter! (Note: Always check local tide timings before your visit for safe and full accessibility to the temple platform.)

A divine serene experience! Visited at sunset and instantly felt the divine aura there. It is also located at a very scenic location with the Arabian Sea surrounding it. It is not very crowded during early morning and evening hours. The top of the temple has a big Shivling which is visible from far off and is the highlight of the place.
Gunjan — Google review
Extraordinary temple. One of its own kind. This temple is located in the middle of the ocean. When there is a high tide, the water of the ocean enters the temple and consecrate the holy shiva-linga. In such conditions, you need to grab the chain while entering the temple to keep balance. This temple is popular among tourists for fabulous sunset. You can find this temple crowded at the time of sunset in the evening. This temple is recently renovated and expanded by authorities which was really required.
