ஆங்கிலத்தில் எழுதுவதற்கு மன்னிக்கவும் dt 22-03-25. Do Not Travel to Gujarat from March to July, the heat is very very very High. Visited this famous well known mosque. Ladies are not allowed inside the mosque. Mosque is quiet small and compact, but highlights the beauty of the indo islamic architecture. Built in the year 1572-73 by an Abyssinian (person from Ethiopia) called Sidi Saiyyed, who served under the then sultan. This mosque is well known for the wonderful intricate carvings in stone and their unique semi circular tracery windows, depicting the tree of life. Paper cutouts were made of the carved screens from which two wooden replicas were made and these are now in museum in London and New york. The driver was telling us that this mosque is still in use as the emblem of the Ahmedabad municipality. The grave of sidi saiyyed is inside this mosque. The mosque is in a congested area, hence parking is out of the question. Definitely worth a visit to admire the wonderful jalli work in the windows.

It was the same year that the Mughals conquered Gujarat. famed for its exquisite jali windows, spider web fine, depicting the intricate intertwining branches of the ‘tree of life’ that is best seen from the road that runs along the back of the mosque. Do visit if you are in Ahmedabad.

Sidi Masjid, Ahmedabad A fine symbol of the Sultanate art and architecture of Ahmedabad. The intricate jalis (stone lattice work) here are unique and a true masterpiece of craftsmanship. Located in the heart of the old city, the mosque stands quietly amid a peaceful Mohammedan locality. Anyone can visit here, even Hindus — a serene place where history, art, and faith blend beautifully. A must visit for ART and history lovers.. Small place would take hardly 10 minutes

Points of Interest & Landmarks
Manek Chowk Rd, located in the heart of Old Ahmedabad, is a bustling market that offers a unique experience throughout the day. In the morning, it serves as a lively vegetable market with an array of colorful produce. As the day unfolds, it transforms into a vibrant jewelry market where visitors can explore exquisite treasures. By nightfall, the street comes alive with an enticing array of street food stalls offering delicious local cuisine.
An amazing experience! The 9898 Jamun shot and Ghughra sandwich are a must-try.

Excellent food
Vijay P — Google review
I visited Manek Chowk in Ahmedabad during a corporate trip. It’s near Jama Masjid and Delhi Gate and famous as a late-night food market open until 1 or 2 a.m. We went there because most of Ahmedabad closes by 8–9 p.m., unlike Delhi which stays lively late. Honestly, the experience was underwhelming. The area is crowded, but there are only 8–10 food carts, mostly selling the same items like bhaji pav, pulao, kaju pulao, small pizzas, and some South Indian snacks. Everything is served on plastic chairs and tables in open air, and hygiene seemed low. The only highlight for us was the jamun fruit shots they were really fresh and tasty. Overall, if you want a full dining experience, I wouldn’t recommend it. But if you just want to experience the local late-night food vibe in Ahmedabad, it’s worth a quick visit.

Manek Chowk Road, Ahemdabad is most famous market of Ahemdabad city. It is mostly popular for shopping and food market. The best place to visit this place is in the evening after 7 pm
Binny D — Google review
A lively food street that changes its atmosphere from morning markets to evening food stalls. At night, the area turns into a paradise for street food lovers with pav bhaji, sandwiches, and traditional snacks. Prices are pocket-friendly, and the food is tasty.
Mohammad S — Google review
It is an amazing place for food lovers. We gujarati always foodie in nature. I loved pavbhaji eating there. So much vibrant place. I go in the rainy season so it will give old vibes of amdavad .
Rajan R — Google review
Rating: 1/5(As can't give zero stars) Tried Mysore Masala Dosa, Manchurian Noodles, and Cold Coco — would rate them 1/5, 1/5, and 3/5 respectively. The dosa was a disaster — dripping with oil, almost fried. Someone, a decade ago, probably decided to fuse sweet curd/lassi with masala dosa, and people just went along. It’s honestly the murder of authentic South Indian food. Sambhar was just average. The noodles tasted like ₹10 roadside fare — overly salty, with small-length noodles. The Manchurian was extremely dry, halved pieces resembling soy chunks. Every food outlet seemed to serve the same mediocre stuff, just under different names. And the crowd — chaotic, overcrowded, barely space to stand.Even Fish Market is less noisy then this place. Prices are also overhyped and unjustified for the quality offered. For a tourist, I’d strongly recommend skipping this so-called “iconic” Manek Chowk. Ahmedabad has better and cleaner places to enjoy local flavours.

The EME Temple in Vadodara is one of the most unique and peaceful places you can visit in the city. The temple has a very serene atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for anyone seeking peace and spiritual calm. What makes the temple truly special is its modern design and architecture. Unlike traditional temples, this one has a distinct structure with symbolic elements representing different religions, which beautifully reflects the message of unity and harmony. The surroundings are very well-kept, with greenery and a calm environment that instantly makes you feel relaxed. Whether you come here for prayer, meditation, or just to spend a few quiet moments, the temple offers a refreshing break from the busy city. If you are visiting Vadodara, the EME Temple is a must-visit—not just for its spiritual significance but also for its architectural uniqueness and peaceful ambience.

Out of respect, we didn't click any pics instead of the temple. 1. The guards were very polite and humble to talk to. 2. There are many sculptures, and I request people not to touch them. 3. The gurudwara is one of its kind. Do not miss it. 4. Peaceful and very well maintained place. 5. You have to submit your identity proof. They will return it once you are done with your exit. There is no charge or fees.

The temple is unique with main deity as Dakshineshwar Shiva in form of Shiv Murti (rather than linga). The temple is located within the premises maintained by Indian Army and hence entry is regulated where you need to carry an Identity Card (License, PAN, Aadhar or such). Needless to mention that being maintained by Army it is very clean and crowd is managed well. The temple premises have various small shrines of multiple gods, Navgraha, Ganpati, Sai Baba, Buddha, etc.

I am visiting it since my childhood. In the heart of the city, one of the oldest temple yet so esthetic, peaceful, calm and positive vibes around. EME (Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Temple) or also known as Dakshinamurthy temple is under the preservense of EME. Hence one of the groupember must submit Photo ID proof with number of person taking entry and vehicle details. After that they'll allow you to take your vehicle in. If you are riding 2 wheeler, helmet is cumpolsary for all travellers otherwise you need to park outside the entry point and go by walk. Temple timing: 5:30 am to 08:30 pm. Dress code: Modest clothing that covers the shoulders, chest, and knees.

Nice Garden Lots of greenery Only negative is that there’s a buggy car with 20 INR per person ride, since no one around they took 100 INR for us 3 as no one was taking buggy. On asking how many minutes, counter lady told 15/18 minutes and once we sat on buggy, in exactly 9 minutes he got us back. We felt cheated but they didn’t bother. Toy Train also had big waiting for train parked and lots of kids and family disappointed

The palace grounds are beautifully maintained, with lush gardens and a serene environment that adds to the charm. What makes it special is the rich cultural experience—every corner of the palace has a story. The audio guide is very informative and helps you understand the royal legacy of the Gaekwad family. Visit Vadodara and don't visit Lakshmi Vilas Palace, your trip will be incomplete! This is not just a palace, but a living history of the amazing art, heritage and splendor of the Gaekwad rulers of Gujarat. In my opinion, this palace is one of the most magnificent and well-maintained royal residences in India. Architecture and grandeur: This palace was built in 1890 in the Indo-Saracenic style. It is said that this palace is four times larger than Buckingham Palace! Its huge doors, beautiful windows and intricate carvings will amaze you. Interior splendor: The interior work of the palace is truly amazing. The flooring, exotic tiles, murals and colorful glass windows of the 'Darbar Hall' are a sight to behold. The museum section houses a collection of rare items and weapons of the Gaekwad family, which will take you back in time. Vast grounds: The vast and lush garden of the palace gives immense peace. The small golf course behind the palace adds to its grandeur. The atmosphere here is very peaceful and beautiful in the evening. My experience: I have visited this palace many times, and every time I am happy to see the maintenance here. An audio guide facility is also available to explain the art and history inside to the tourists, which is very helpful. This is a special place for families, history lovers and architecture students. Tip: Photography enthusiasts should visit here early in the morning or before sunset.

It was the best experience ever.. such a nice palace Laxmi Vilas Palace, Vadodara..A good, nice palace with equally huge gardens and its own golf course.. they have cricket academy also.. and LVP garba is most famous in here.. Though only a very very small part of the entire palace is open for public display. They have good AV and give you the Device with earphones to listen to the entire history & details about the Palace, its history, Royal Family and many things. It goes on and on for more than 2 hrs. However, we took 1 hour to explore whole palace.. They have a nice small cafe inside..

Visiting Laxmi Vilas Palace is truly a royal experience. The sheer grandeur of the architecture, the beautifully manicured gardens, and the rich history reflected in every corner make it a must-visit. The palace interiors showcase exquisite artwork, ornate halls, and royal collections that transport you back in time. We visited during the weekend so it was a bit crowded. We didn't have to wait in a queue. The security at the entrance n exit guide you with the needed information. The museum inside offers fascinating insights into the Gaekwad dynasty, with displays of weapons, paintings, and artifacts. The Darbar Hall, with its stunning chandeliers and Venetian mosaic flooring, is breathtaking. The audio guide is well-curated and helps you appreciate the heritage even more. The sprawling lawns and golf course add to the charm, and the upkeep of the property is commendable. Entry is well-organized, though prior permission is required for certain areas. Overall, Laxmi Vilas Palace is not just a monument but an experience that blends culture, history, and elegance. A must-see gem of Vadodara. There are some places in the premises that needs a lot of restoration and the exterior needs some renovation work and painting. It rained a lot that day so we had to rush back from the lawn area. Overall a well spent outing which can be completed in an hour or a little more. Photography is prohibited inside the palace

Beautiful place to visit. No regrets. It takes 2 hours to fully explore the palace. The audio guide is included in the ticket. So keep your tickets safely and don't lose them. To collect the audio guide show your ticket in the office administration and tell them the preferred language. The first point of the start of the palace is the statue near the Golf lawn. Don't miss the painting which is at the exit, before that you have to submit the audio guide and take sign.

Lukshmi Vilas Palace is truly the pride of Vadodara and one of the most magnificent palaces in India. The moment you enter the premises, you can feel the royal grandeur and historic charm all around. The architecture is breathtaking — a stunning blend of Indo-Saracenic design, intricate carvings, and beautiful domes that reflect the rich heritage of the Gaekwad dynasty. The palace museum houses a fine collection of royal artifacts, weapons, paintings, and sculptures that offer a glimpse into the glorious past. The lush green golf course and the huge palace grounds make the experience even more delightful. The audio-guided tour is very informative, giving visitors deep insights into the royal family’s lifestyle and the palace’s history. The maintenance of the property is excellent, and the staff are polite and helpful. Photography is allowed in certain areas, so don’t forget to capture the stunning views. Visiting Lukshmi Vilas Palace feels like stepping into a chapter of royal history — majestic, elegant, and unforgettable. A must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Vadodara!

Jai Shree Mahakali Mataji! 🙏 This place is like a heaven. During raining 🌧️ the surrounding nature is looks very beautiful. 🚫 Some devotees do not pay attention on cleaness and they throw different types of polythene bags, plastic bottles, papers etc. on foot steps. There is not too many wastage basket for waste storage. Temple authority and Gujarat government should pay attention on cleaness and waste management issues on this place. There should be cleaness awareness poster on some places.

✨ Beautiful Temple Visit ✨ This temple is a wonderful place to visit with your family. You can reach the temple in two ways: 🚠 Cable Car Ride – Available for visitors, but tickets should be booked online at least one day in advance, especially during Navratri, as it gets very crowded. 🚶 On Foot – For those who enjoy trekking, you can also reach the temple by climbing on foot. 🚗 Reaching the Temple: On weekdays, you can drive your own vehicle directly up to the temple parking area. On weekends, private vehicles are not allowed beyond Pavagarh bus stop. You’ll need to take a bus from there to the temple base. It’s a blend of spiritual vibes and scenic beauty—perfect for a family outing! 🌸
Sandeep V — Google review
Excellent experience - both spiritual and for the view. Current one has to climb about 300-400 steps to reach the temple despite taking the ropeway. But it appears that this ropeway is being extended to almost the top just near the temple and only a few steps will remain to be climbed. The darshan was easy, the view mesmerising and the experience elevating.

The Golden Bridge, an architectural gem connecting Ankleshwar and Bharuch, is a remarkable feat of engineering that dates back to 1881. Constructed by the British to facilitate trade and administration across the Narmada River, this bridge stands out not only for its historical significance but also for its unique design resembling a beautiful maze. The iron used in its construction is both rugged and resistant to rust, making it more valuable than modern steel.

The moment you step into the premises, a sense of peace and devotion fills the air. The Swaminarayan Temple at Neelkanth Dham is a stunning example of traditional architecture combined with divine artistry. The temple’s intricate carvings, beautifully sculpted idols, and the serene Narmada river flowing nearby create an atmosphere of deep spirituality and calm. The grandeur of the temple complex, especially when illuminated in the evening, leaves every visitor in awe. One of the highlights of the visit is the Sahajanand Universe, an expansive spiritual theme park that beautifully showcases the life, teachings, and values of Lord Swaminarayan through creative exhibits, sculptures, and audio-visual displays. It is both educational and inspiring, making it enjoyable for devotees as well as families with children. The entire complex is extremely well maintained — clean surroundings, organized pathways, ample parking space, and courteous staff make the experience comfortable and memorable. The sound of devotional chants, the fragrance of incense, and the scenic view of the riverbank add to the divine ambiance of the place. If you are visiting the statue of unity then plan one day for this temple. It's approximately 40 kms from ekta nagar railway station and takes 2 hrs to reach the location. This temple is very huge and mainly for Swaminarayan. However, there are other deities as well. The temple is at the bank of Narmada river. The temple has serene vibes and is very peaceful. The architectural design of the temple is marvelous. There is Kuber temple at the other side of the Narmada river which can be reached by boat. There is shoe locker facility. Also, many shops for buying worship items. Big food court is available and having many varieties. There are kids play zone area on the other side of the temple which is also big. At the entrance of the premises, a huge gaushala is located. You can buy pure cow ghee and other products there. Overall it's worth visiting the temple.

Nilkanthdham at Poicha is a spiritual and architectural gem. Nestled on the banks of the holy Narmada river, the temple complex feels serene the moment you step in. The detailed carvings, beautiful landscaping, water bodies, and gardens are immaculately maintained and offer a peaceful escape from city life. The food plaza & prasadalay serve good, affordable vegetarian meals; the shops and rest areas are clean & convenient. Even the walking paths and fountains add to the calm vibe, especially during sunset and night when the lights make the place truly magical. If you plan your visit early or later in the day (to avoid the intense midday sun), Nilkanthdham becomes even more enjoyable. Parking is well organised, and there’s a strong sense of spiritual energy that refreshes the soul. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a peaceful spiritual retreat or a family outing

The beach has potential but falls short in cleanliness and proper maintenance. The area feels quite dirty, and the development seems haphazard and unplanned. ⸻ Dumas Beach is one of the go-to weekend spots for Surti people. Whether it’s locals or guests visiting from outside Surat, this beach is always on the list. It’s usually crowded on weekends since everyone comes here to relax, rewind, and chill by the sea. Sometimes the water is far away from the main shore, but it’s still a great place to hang out. There’s also a Mahadev temple nearby where many people go to pray. The beach has a bunch of fun activities like ATV rides, jeep rides, camel rides, etc. You’ll also find photographers who click your pics with a DSLR and give instant digital prints—which is fun and pretty cool! There are lots of small stalls and vendors selling boiled corn, Maggi, and other snacks, making it a typical beach-y food experience. A little ahead of the beach, there’s a super famous spot for Gujarati bhajiyas (fritters), especially during monsoons and winters. You’ll find bhajiyas made of rataru (yam), tomatoes, onions, and even mixed ones. People even visit on Sunday mornings just for bhajiya breakfast! Apart from all this, Dumas is also a popular long-drive spot for Surti folks who just want to escape the city’s hustle for a bit. Lately, a bunch of cute cafes have also opened nearby like Nomads, Social Blend, Kissa, Deiro, Petra, etc. with chill vibes and good ambience. Overall, a must-visit place for a short getaway or beach day with friends and family!

About 20 km southwest of Surat city, on the Arabian Sea coast. Lies along the Tapi River’s mouth, where it meets the sea. Main Attractions 1. Black Sand – The sand is slightly blackish-grey because of high iron and magnetic mineral content. It gives the beach a very unique look, especially during sunrise and sunset. 2. Sea View & Breeze – The beach is wide and open — perfect for evening walks, photography, or just relaxing with the sea breeze. 3. Street Food Heaven – You’ll find many stalls selling Gujarati snacks like: Bhel puri, pav bhaji, bhajiya, gola, sweet corn, and coconut water. 🍴 4. Sunset Point – The sunset at Dumas Beach is one of the most beautiful in Gujarat — orange sky over the Arabian Sea. Love 💕

Tranquil shoreline on the Arabian Sea offering a concrete boardwalk & dark sand.
Tithal Beach is a clean and calm place with its unique black, shining sand and plenty of sea shells to collect. I visited this beach with my family last weekend, but unfortunately, I didn’t get much time to spend here as we had to head to another place. The beach has good parking facilities, with a nominal charge of around ₹10-₹20. There’s also a small bazaar on the beach offering a variety of food options. A must-try is the star fruit served with spicy chaat masala—it’s a perfect balance of sweet and sour! You can also find boiled coconut and corn, which are great local snacks. For children, there are vendors with small toy cars, and for those looking for more adventure, camel and horse rides are available. One of the highlights of my visit was a massive sand drawing of Lord Shiva on the beach, which was truly impressive! Overall, Tithal Beach is a great spot to relax and enjoy some local flavors. Would love to visit again with more time to explore!

Very good, and clean beach. Sand is black and is very fine. Good to build sand castles. Very little undercurrent on the beach makes it very safe. Place can be a bot better lit. Become too dark, as soon as sun is set. There can be better food and beverage options, other than small tea and snacks shops.

A very good place for a one day outing. Amenities: Some snacks stores, toys stores, 🌽 shops, battery operated car bike rides for kids. It has paid car parking at a cost of ₹20 as of June 2025. There are paid wash/shower/changing rooms available besides the parking lot where you can get fresh water shower after being into the salty sea water.

We visited Tithal Beach in Valsad during the summer holidays in May 2025, and it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable experiences for our entire family. Despite the summer heat, the cool sea breeze, the soothing sound of waves, and the scenic beauty made the trip extremely refreshing and memorable. Tithal Beach is located just a few kilometers from Valsad city and is easily accessible by road. We reached in the early morning, which gave us the perfect opportunity to enjoy the sunrise over the black sand beach. The morning sunlight reflecting on the gentle waves created a magical atmosphere. We had a lot of fun at the beach – playing in the water, splashing with the waves, and building sandcastles with the kids. The unique black sand added a special charm to the whole experience. Children were especially thrilled and didn’t want to leave the water. Everyone in the family thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful and fun-filled time at the shore. There were many local food stalls near the beach offering delicious snacks like bhajiyas, sweet waffles, coconut water, bhel, and batata vadas, which kept us refreshed throughout the day. The cleanliness of the beach and the maintenance by the local authorities is commendable. Parking space was easily available, and basic facilities like washrooms were also present, making the experience comfortable. We clicked many beautiful pictures and created lasting memories. The calm and natural setting of Tithal Beach provided not just fun but also peace of mind. Even with the weekend crowd, the beach had enough space to relax and enjoy without feeling too busy. Overall, our trip to Tithal Beach was a perfect combination of nature, relaxation, and enjoyment. Whether you're looking for a short picnic, some quality family time, or just a peaceful walk by the sea, Tithal Beach offers it all. We’ve already decided to visit again soon, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a refreshing beachside getaway in South Gujarat.

Devka Beach is a picturesque shoreline with numerous food stalls, bars, and options for camel or horse-riding. Visitors can also find shops and hotels in the vicinity. However, it's important to note that the area is currently undergoing significant construction work as part of a smart city project - leading to high pollution levels and dust that may not be suitable for tourists. As such, it may be better to avoid visiting Devka Beach until construction work is completed by June 22nd.
One of the most beautiful place in daman. Must visit during night n evening ..Devka Beach in Daman is truly one of the best beaches in India! With its wide shoreline, cool breeze, and stunning sea views, it's a perfect destination for families, couples, or anyone looking to unwind by the ocean. The beach is clean, well-maintained, and has recently become even more exciting with the addition of the new toy train attraction..

Although I didn't go near the water as I found the sand and water dirty n water muddy. The jogging path has been developed beautifully with broad clean roads n street lights. There are many restaurants along the corniche area . At the weekends, there are DJ playing music. Enjoyed our time there. Ample free parking area . The corniche area has been developed at least for a good 3 to 4 kilometers. Families drive down and come in the evenings to enjoy the cool sea breeze.

During our recent trip to Daman, we spent some time at Devka Beach, one of the most well-known spots in the area. The experience was a mix of natural beauty, leisure, and relaxation, perfectly suited for a laid-back Sunday. The beach stretches wide with its rocky shoreline and greyish sand, giving it a unique character compared to the more commercial beaches elsewhere. On the day we visited, the weather was cloudy and slightly humid, with the sound of waves hitting the rocks creating a calm and soothing atmosphere. The breeze made it an enjoyable walk along the promenade, and the views of the Arabian Sea were refreshing despite the overcast skies. The beach area is lively, attracting a good number of tourists and locals alike. Families, groups of friends, and children added to the cheerful atmosphere. Along the stretch, there are small stalls offering quick snacks and beverages, making it easy to grab a bite while enjoying the view. The nearby Devka Amusement Park, though modest, adds a recreational element, especially for those visiting with children. While the beach is not ideal for swimming due to its rocky terrain and strong currents, it makes up for it with its serene walks, open views, and vibrant ambiance. Watching the waves crash against the stones and feeling the sea breeze was a simple yet fulfilling experience. In the evening, the place becomes even livelier with tourists flocking for the sunset view. Although the skies were cloudy during our visit, the atmosphere itself was enjoyable. Overall, Devka Beach is more about relaxation and soaking in the seaside charm rather than adventure. For those looking to unwind in Daman, it is certainly a spot worth visiting.

There are many hotels, resorts, and food stalls available around Devka Beach, where you can enjoy local as well as various delicious dishes, parking facilities are good on Beas Road Devka Beach is not only a place for relaxation, but also for spending time with the family, photography, and walking along the beach. Iur visit to Jampore Beach in Daman was one of the most enjoyable parts of the trip, offering a refreshing mix of seaside charm, relaxation, and local flavor. Unlike the rocky stretches of Devka Beach, Jampore has a much wider and smoother shoreline, making it ideal for walking, sitting by the water, and enjoying the sea breeze. On the day we visited, the weather was pleasant, though slightly humid, with gentle waves lapping against the shore. The expansive beach and calm surroundings created a soothing environment where we could unwind after a busy schedule. The atmosphere was lively, with tourists and families scattered across the stretch, yet it retained a sense of openness that didn’t feel crowded. Jampore Beach is also known for its small eateries and stalls, and we enjoyed some quick bites and refreshing drinks while gazing at the sea. The casual, laid-back vibe makes it an excellent spot to spend quality time with colleagues, friends, or family. A few adventure activities were also available, but we preferred to keep it simple, walking barefoot on the sand and soaking in the natural serenity. One highlight of our visit was relaxing at the beachside shacks, sipping on cool beverages, and letting the sea breeze take away the fatigue of travel. Watching the waves and engaging in light conversations made the experience even more memorable. As the day progressed, the beach grew livelier, with more tourists coming in to enjoy the late afternoon. In all, Jampore Beach is a must-visit in Daman if you are looking for a calm yet vibrant seaside escape. With its clean stretch, good food options, and easygoing vibe, it perfectly captures the coastal charm of this small yet lively city.

Although the beach looked dirty but the joggers' path or the corniche area looked pretty decent. A lot of construction is still in progress to pave the walking path. Cleanliness needs to be improved. The life guards were not permitting visitors to go in the beach area as due to monsoon, the beach was rough. A lot of entries are there n ample parking space.

Jampore Beach is a serene coastal escape, located about 5 km from Moti Daman Jetty, known for its soft, often blackish or muddy-hued sand and tranquil vibes — a perfect retreat from city life Lined with casuarina or palm-like groves, it offers plenty of shade, making it excellent for leisurely strolls, picnics, and sunsets at any time from late afternoon to evening. Plenty of options offering both veg and non-veg delights — from vada pav, bhel, corn chaat to pomfret fry, prawns, and even coconut water with vodka — all at affordable prices

Govardhan Ecovillage, located in Vada, offers a serene retreat amidst nature. The polite staff addresses guests as 'Prabhuji' and the visit includes the opportunity to explore the Sri Sri Radha Vrindavanbehari temple and Sri Sri Radha Madanmohan Temple, where visitors can enjoy bhajans. The scenic beauty of mountains, lakes, and greenery provides a peaceful atmosphere.
I recently visited Govardhan Ecovillage for the second time, and just like the first, it was a beautiful, soulful experience. My first visit was with my parents when we stayed at the Vrindavan Cottage, and I remember how peaceful and rejuvenating it felt. This time, we went with our entire family and chose to stay at the Madhuvan Hermitage, which came with air conditioning and an attached bathroom a perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm. During our first visit, we had explored their spiritual tours, which were thoughtfully curated and left a deep impact. This time, we attended the evening Aarti and jaap (chants) meditation, both of which felt deeply grounding and peaceful. We also got the chance to witness the Yamuna Aarti, it was absolutely beautiful and soothing, a truly heart-touching experience. Govardhan Ecovillage has truly become one of our go-to destinations in Palghar. Surrounded by lush greenery and steeped in a spiritual atmosphere, it has a unique aura that immediately calms your senses. There are two restaurants inside the premises one near the Mandir and another closer to the stay area. Both offer delicious, freshly prepared meals, and everything is managed with great care and attention to detail. This time, our visit coincided with Ekadashi, so the meals were aligned with the Ekadashi menu. Since we had checked in advance, we were prepared for it. But for others planning a visit, I’d definitely recommend confirming the meal plan beforehand, especially if you’re unfamiliar with the Ekadashi dietary restrictions. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the staff was courteous and always ready to help. The energy of the place is incredibly grounding and spiritual, it truly offers a peaceful escape from the chaos of everyday life. This time, we also got a chance to enjoy the swimming pool, which is quite spacious and well-maintained. They follow specific time slots for pool access, so you may want to check in advance. During our last visit, we had tried the spa services, and that too was a lovely experience. Overall, every visit to Govardhan Ecovillage feels wholesome a perfect combination of comfort, spirituality, and connection with nature. Whether you’re going for a spiritual retreat or just a peaceful break, it’s a place that leaves you feeling centered and renewed. I’m already looking forward to going back again.

The 20 of us visited Govardhan Eco Village on Saturday.. it was ekadashi and we all had a blissful trip n darshan at the madanmohan ji temple of Shri Krishna. This place is well maintained and is a huge place filled with greenery. The forest walk was the best part of this village. Each section had tales and statues depicting Shri Krishna birth and all that he achieved or faced in his life. The prabhuji's act as a guide n share small stories n folk lore along the way at each important area there....its lush green and truly serene. Away from the hustle n bustle of our concrete jungle. The place has free prasad at lunch time at Lalita bhavan....and there is also a paid canteen area which has a wide variety of eatables .There's a gaushala.....farm produce being sold like honey..ghee. .turmeric...millets...and vegetables .....a nursery which sells wonderful plants too at reasonable rates......there are innumerableplants, trees n flowers n fruits in the forest.. .the people there are all cooperative and polite n very respectful.... ISKCON is maintaing this area well. There are also rooms available for people who wish to stay there over the week or weekend....it has a Satwik environment n Satwik meals too. The best was the Krishna chanting, n jaap.....n later after 6pm the Yamuna aarti ....... Only request is for the management there to make arrangements for taking visitors in the travel buggy/ cart especially senior citizens who cannot walk long distances n experience the eco village....as now the service is fr those who have rooms there....all of us enjoyed the trip n the amazing day we spent there.

The place is located near manor, in lush green area developed in the surrounding. The rooms are quite well maintained with proper ambience. The room size is good enough apart from non ac room. The spiritual schedule is worth following. Golf carts are available to and fro from the rooms. Swimming pools is good and maintained but the changing rooms could be well maintained. 2 govindas restaurant are available one within the residential area and another near the main temple. The main temple is under construction with an upgradation process. A really worth experience at Govardhan ecovillage.

It is excellent place must visit You can catch a bus from Palghar station till Mastan Naka or From Vasai highway can catch a sharing van to Palghar. The location is far but is worth going. The prasad is delicious and healthy as well.

I was really looking forward to a peaceful and refreshing stay at Govardhan Eco Village, but unfortunately, my experience wasn’t as good as expected. Food was not available throughout the day, which was quite inconvenient. Also, for guests who regularly consume regular tea, it would be nice to have that option available — only herbal tea was served during my stay. What was most disappointing was how the staff woke us up abruptly for check-out, which completely disturbed our sleep. We were there to relax and unwind, but this really defeated the purpose of a peaceful getaway. Overall, the property and concept are good, but I hope the management pays attention to these small yet important details to improve the guest experience.

I think EsselWorld is a great spot to spend your weekend rather than going outside Mumbai. It has a Bird park , Water Park and Peace Pagoda. And most importantly, Greenery everywhere. I have created a full video and uploaded it on my YouTube channel. Name : Discover India with Uttam. Easiest way to go there is 1. First reach to boriwali railway station 2. Take bus or Rickshaw (10-15 min from the station) 3. Ferry ride of 15 min ( 100 rs ticket return Journey) Peace Pagoda don't have an entry ticket. It is a beautiful hidden spot in Mumbai. If you are planing Bird park then please visit in Oct - Dec. Hope it helps

The park’s layout, open spaces, and wide range of entertainment options make it a joyful experience for both children and adults. The park has a lively, colorful, and energetic atmosphere that adds to the overall fun. Good Food and Facilities The food courts offer plenty of options — from Indian snacks to multi-cuisine meals. Visitors appreciate the vegetarian food options, reasonable prices, and hygienic environment. Value for Money The ticket prices are considered reasonable for the experience you get. It is one of the best amusement park of India. The place contains the ride for children as well as for adults. One can spend a whole day here and have fun. The entry price is also fine but it doesn’t include all the rides, for some rides you will be charged at their respective counters. They have a theatre as well in the park. Their are two sections of the park one is the amusement and the other one is water. Regarding the price for the food it’s way too high and the outside food is not allowed which at last will help in increasing your budget. The place is good for friends family and children.

Water & Amusement Parks
Water Kingdom is a family-friendly water park that offers a variety of attractions for both kids and adults. As the oldest amusement park in its city, it is part of a twin theme park along with Essel World. The park features thrilling rides such as high-speed slides, a wave pool, and a lazy river. It also boasts India's largest aqua play pool and ensures safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed.
Visited this place 4-5 times since 2010 to 2025, with family, friends and on a school trip. Had a lot of fun each and everytime. Not a lot has changed here, traditional slides. Every time I visited, there were 1-2 slides which were closed, but I am a wavepool person, so I don't really care about the slides. 😅 Staff is friendly, food options/outlets are good and have a variety. Food is costly though, so you need to plan your budget. One thing which can be improved on is the free water they provide, they can have disposable cups, so that hygiene is maintained and improve the quality of drinking water.

Water kingdom is situated near Gorai beach near Borivali. it’s really an amazing Water Park with a Fantastic Wave Pool! Water Kingdom is a fantastic spot to have fun with family and friends! It's a massive water park with a variety of thrilling rides and activities for all ages. The park is large, well-kept, and features a variety of slides and water sports. Especially lazy pool. Whether you're searching for thrill rides or a pleasant day out. Water Kingdom is a must-see! It has parking facilities at a cost of Rs 50 for the entire day. There is a shuttle service from parking to the Water Kingdom, which costs 1750rs per ticket. There are several food courts that are slightly more expensive, but the cuisine is of good quality. You also have kebab and beer counters. You can also plan Pagoda simply 5min drive likewise Gorai beach again 5min drive. Essel world is just beside water kingdom

Had a great time at Water Kingdom! Visited for just one day but made the most of it. The ferry ride was fun, and the slides were exciting and well-maintained. Perfect place to beat the heat and enjoy with friends or family. The staff was helpful, and the park was quite clean. Would definitely recommend for a fun water-filled day!

Visited Water Kingdom in Gorai on a weekday with family, and it turned out to be a great decision since the park was much less crowded. All the water slides were functional and well-maintained, which added to the fun. If you're driving, note that parking is available about 10 minutes away from the park and costs ₹150 for a four-wheeler. However, there's a convenient free shuttle bus service from the parking area to the entrance. Alternatively, if you're coming from Borivali, you can take the dedicated Water Kingdom ferry boats. For those riding two-wheelers, you can use the Gorai ferry service, which accommodates bikes. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience, perfect for a relaxed family outing without the weekend rush.

Nestled within the Sanjay Gandhi National Park in Mumbai, India, the Kanheri Caves are a remarkable testament to ancient Buddhist architecture and art. Carved by monks over 2,000 years ago, these 109 caves feature rock-hewn temples adorned with intricate sculptures, paintings of Buddha, and inscriptions dating from the 1st century BCE to the 10th century AD.
Kanheri Caves, situated at Borivali. The Caves carved from solid rocks, in the era 2nd BC to 11th BC. Somewhere when Samrat Ashoka wanted to spread the Buddhist Religion. There are 102 Caves situated at various levels. The Budh Stupas which are a common in Buddhist are seen at various levels. Once upon a time it was free to Public, but now they have started with entrance tickets. INR 103/- per person. For Senior Citizens the price is kept the same. A yearly pass for Senior Citizens is available only from Tuesdays to Fridays @ INR 41/-. The pass must be available on Sundays too. The ticket window opens at 8.00 a.m. only. They should make arrangements to start earliest by 7.00 a.m. Public can start by 7.00 a.m. and by the time Sun starts spreading its heat, people can start returning. The carvings are beautiful, it is difficult to understand how in those days people must have carved in the Rock? Drainage system, fresh water pockets all well thought and seen. The famous Buddhist Stupas are seen at various Caves. Few Caves are situated at an elevated levels. Sculptures are marvelous but few are damaged mat be by the Invaders in those times. Security is stationed at all levels. WashRoom facility is available. Even Canteen facility is available, picnic tables are layed for people to enjoy there breakfast or snacks. One should be careful of the Monkeys, they are spread in all the areas. It is mind boggling to see such architectural beauty of those times when proper instruments erre not available but still people have worked and have made such wonders. One has to see it physically to experience this fact. At each Cave an inscription is displayed, explaining the details of that particular Cave. Archeological Society has constructed few steps with railings for people to climb up the levels.

Visited: November 2024 I'm an explorer who loves to visit historical and archaeological places, and Kanheri Caves was a real treat! Took a train to Borivali and then a shared auto for ₹25 to reach Sanjay Gandhi National Park. From there, I took the ₹20 shuttle bus that takes you straight to the caves. It’s amazing how such a peaceful and serene spot exists in the middle of Mumbai! The caves are well-maintained, and the history here is incredible. I was astonished by the big standing Buddha statue—it’s both impressive and calming. The ancient water management system carved into the stone is fascinating—stone channels and cisterns designed to collect and guide rainwater. It’s amazing how advanced the architecture was for its time. The ancient monk cells were another highlight—small, carved-out rooms where monks once lived and meditated. Walking through them, you really feel the quiet, spiritual atmosphere of the place. It’s like stepping back into a different time. I spent about 3 hours exploring every cave—be prepared for a lot of walking and stairs. Carry plenty of water, wear comfortable shoes, and take your time to appreciate the surroundings. There are plenty of shaded spots to rest, which definitely helps. A big thanks to the security guards—one of them saved me from an aggressive monkey and handed me his stick for protection. Beware of monkeys if you’re carrying food—they’re quick! Tip: Go early to avoid the heat, keep your food sealed, and enjoy the peaceful vibe of this historical escape. It’s definitely worth a visit.

Wonderful place to visit. From entrance you have to take government bus which is chargeable to reach the cave. A full day is required to understand each and every cave in detail. The security guards help us voluntarily in explaining the sculptures. Restroom and refreshment is available at the location.

Metro Junction Mall in Kalyan has undergone significant improvements over the years, transforming into a lively shopping center with a vibrant outdoor plaza, a popular movie theater, and an array of dining options in its food court. The mall now boasts numerous branded and fashion clothing stores at reasonable prices, making it an ideal destination for shoppers. Its clean and well-maintained facilities create a pleasant atmosphere for visitors to enjoy their time spent with family and children.
Decent spot in Kalyan for entertainment. The mall is in good condition due to recent renovations and upgrades. Though, it is largely crowded during weekends, you would be lucky to get a seat in the food court. Many shops are present for fashion shopping with different deals and discounts all year. Foreign brands like Starbucks have recently opened as well, if one wants to visit. Overall a well maintained facility with higher degrees of cleanliness but can be improved.
Rohan S — Google review
The mall is big and has a great variety of brands, making it a nice place to visit and have fun. However, cleanliness is a major issue—cockroaches can be seen everywhere, even in the food court. There are no proper dustbins for waste disposal, and the washrooms are extremely dirty. No hand wash was provided, the flush wasn’t working, and the smell was unbearable. While the shopping experience is good, the management seriously needs to improve hygiene and maintenance.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Metro Junction Mall in Kalyan is one of the best malls in the area, offering a complete shopping and entertainment experience. It has a wide variety of stores like Westside, Pantaloons, Zudio, Yousta, Cotton Clutcher, Style Up, Trends, and many more – covering everything from trendy fashion to affordable daily wear and ethnic collections. Household shopping is easy with MR.DIY and Reliance Smart Bazaar, while the food court has great options like Haldiram’s and Shawarmaji for quick and tasty meals. The mall is spacious, with a good mix of budget-friendly and branded outlets, plus frequent discounts and offers across stores. While some shops could improve their inventory freshness, overall it’s a convenient place for shopping, dining, and spending time with family or friends.

Metro junction mall in Kalyan is a popular retail chain that offers a great shopping experience for those looking to buy a variety of products at affordable prices. The store is spacious and well-organized, making it easy to navigate through different sections, including groceries, household items, apparel, and more. One of the best things about Metro juntion mall is its pricing. You can find a wide range of products, from daily essentials to special offers, at competitive prices. Whether it’s fresh produce, packaged goods, or cleaning supplies, Metro junction mall consistently provides good value for money, which is why it attracts a lot of shoppers. They often have discounts and bulk offers, making it a great place for budget-conscious buyers. The store is typically well-stocked, and I’ve always found the staff to be helpful when I need assistance. However, during peak hours, the store can get quite crowded, which might make shopping a bit less pleasant. The checkout lines can also get long, but this is to be expected at such a popular retail destination. Parking is available, but depending on the time of day, it might be a bit of a challenge to find a spot. Despite this, Metro juntion mall in Kalyan is a reliable option for quick, affordable shopping, and it’s one of my go-to places for daily essentials.

Metro Junction Mall in Kalyan is one of the best places to spend time with friends and family. The mall is really big and shiny, with a lively atmosphere. It offers a wide variety of options — from food courts and restaurants to clothing stores and other shopping outlets, so there’s always something for everyone. The overall vibe is modern and enjoyable, making it a good spot not just for shopping, but also for hanging out. A little improvement in crowd management and maintenance would make it perfect, but overall, it’s a great place to visit.

NO GO For dinner. We ordered 2 veg starters , 2non veg(they skipped 1). The size of the veg starter is designed for 2-3 people. The chicken starter dish was dry, had to request for sauces 3nos. times before I got it.. The mocktail choice needs adjustments, some are impractical to consume. Doubt you guys will last for long sans fine tuning.. Luckily the server forgot to get us one dish and we were happy to have left the place earlier than expected

I recently visited Inorbit Mall, Vashi, and it was a fantastic experience! The mall is a perfect spot for shopping, dining, and spending quality time with friends or family. The first thing I noticed was its spacious layout and peaceful atmosphere, which makes walking around really enjoyable. The interiors are clean, modern, and well-maintained, giving the whole place a refreshing vibe. There are plenty of branded stores to shop from, and the food court offers a wide variety from street-style snacks to popular outlets like KFC and Starbucks. One of the highlights for me was the peaceful walking path outside the mall, where I also came across a small artificial waterfall, a beautiful and calming spot to relax. The mall is well-connected, located right near Vashi station, and provides good parking facilities along with clean and hygienic washrooms, which add to the overall convenience.

My visit to Inorbit Mall, Vashi was a vibrant and visually delightful experience, especially because the entire mall was beautifully decorated with lights and themed elements. The moment I entered, I was greeted by bright, colorful lighting that instantly lifted the mood. The decorations were thoughtfully designed and placed across every corner of the mall—from the entrance and atrium to the walkways and seating areas. Whether it was festive season décor or a special theme, the combination of lights, props, and creative designs made the mall feel lively and inviting. The central area looked especially stunning, with hanging lights, artistic displays, and photo-friendly setups that attracted many visitors. Families, kids, and friends were happily taking pictures and enjoying the ambiance. The theme extended throughout the mall, creating a continuous experience rather than just a single decorative spot. Each floor had its own charm, and the blend of lights with music created a cheerful atmosphere. Walking around Inorbit felt refreshing, with shops also participating by adding their own decorations and displays. The food court area looked warm and welcoming, filled with lights and festive touches that made dining even more enjoyable. I appreciated how well the mall maintained cleanliness and organized crowd movement despite the large number of visitors. Overall, my visit to Inorbit Mall, Vashi was memorable because of the stunning decorations and the lively theme that transformed the entire mall into a glowing, festive space. It was the perfect place to relax, shop, enjoy food, and soak in the beautifully lit atmosphere.

The mall is within walking distance from Vashi station and is accessible via private cars and autorickshaws. It has various outlets, with the food court on the top floor. The food court's seating area can get bustling during peak meal/snack hours, making it a challenge to find a place to sit and eat. The washroom (we visited the one on the 1st floor) is clean and fairly well-maintained. The security personnel are courteous. In addition to escalators, the mall also has an elevator. Overall, it is a modestly well-maintained place that offers diverse shopping and dining options.
Amaritpal K — Google review
Very convenient: just outside Vashi railway station, which makes it easy to reach by train + road. Parking is available (basement/underground) – users report that parking is fairly adequate for the area. --- 🛍 Shopping & Retail Experience What stands out: A wide variety of brand stores: from fashion (Puma, Levi's), jewellery (Tanishq, Nakshatra) to lifestyle and books. Spacious interior, clean layout, good signage and mall amenities (e.g., maps, elevators/escalators) making it comfortable for a full-day outing. Free WiFi and other facilities listed in mall info. What could improve / note: Some reviewers mention that during weekdays the footfall is lower (shops may feel less lively) – so for the best experience, weekends or peak hours might feel more energetic. With so many brands and floors, it can feel large and getting around might take time if you’re in a hurry. --- 🍴 Dining, Entertainment & Facilities The food court is rated as one of the strong points: many eateries, fast-food chains (McDonald’s, KFC), cafés (Starbucks), as well as full-service dining and themed restaurants. Good for families, groups or a casual meet-up: the mall has entertainment zones / gaming areas as well. Clean and hygienic washrooms, polite security/staff reported by many users. --- ✅ What I Especially Liked Very good one-stop destination: shopping + dining + entertainment all under one roof, which is ideal if you are spending an afternoon or evening out. Excellent location and accessibility – being right by the station helps. Broad retail mix from budget to premium, which works well for different kinds of shoppers. Dining variety and comfort: especially useful when with family or friends. Maintained cleanliness and facilities in general. --- 👎 Areas for Improvement During peak times (weekends / evenings) the food court can get crowded; finding a table might take time. Some of the lesser-frequented brand stores / floors might feel quiet especially on non-peak days, so the “buzz” may vary. If you drive, parking might get full during busy hours; arriving earlier helps. For very luxury-oriented shoppers, while good, it may not match some of the newer ultra-premium malls in terms of latest flagship stores.

One of the highlights for me was the peaceful walking path outside the mall, and I even saw a small artificial waterfall—beautiful and calming. It’s well-connected, right near Vashi station, with good parking and clean washrooms. If you're in Navi Mumbai, this mall is definitely worth a visit for a complete day-out experience! #inorbit mall #mall #mumbai

This waterfall has always been one of my favorite spots, especially during the monsoon season. I’ve been visiting it for years, and the beauty of this place never fails to amaze me. Although the main path is now closed, you can still reach the waterfall from the side. Please remember to respect nature, do not throw plastic bags, bottles, or any kind of trash. Let’s all help maintain the cleanliness and natural beauty of this place. ⚠️One word of caution: the area can be a little dangerous, especially during heavy rains, so be careful and stay safe while enjoying the waterfall.

Please don't follow the direction given in this map. You will end up at a dead end of a mining place. Water fall place is very beautiful but don't go by the Google maps location. You can ask locally there and go accordingly.

The greenery here just relieves ur mind and the falls make it even more relaxing and fun. Can't get enough of the greenery here.😎😎 Rainy season the best to visit and footwear with good grip a must. There are stalls for snacks, tea and cold drinks but u can carry your own food/snacks too..

M I will just say one thing, the path is very difficult but the destination is that beautiful, you will get both tracking and waterfall, take food for yourself to the same place, a nice place

It is one of the amazing views of Pandavkada waterfalls we have it in the monsoon season. The entry is officially restricted due to accidents reported there
