A very nice place. If you love nature, touch of forest, calmness, then it's definitely Ideal for you. Always enter through gate 2. It's nearer to Railway station. There are few tea stalls where you can buy tea, bread toast etc. But there is no restaurants nearer. It is suggested to carry food. Toilet is too dirty. Otherwise overall a very good place.

This Similipal Tiger Reserve is going to be very famous and whoever becomes expert in the future, it will be great to visit. Please, whoever comes here, enjoy walking and picnic with pleasure and Mayurbhanj such district is the largest district of Odisha. Why am I so complimenting it deserves a date.

People of Baripada and the neighboring places in the district of Mayurbhanj hold Maa Ambika, the presiding deity of Ambika Temple in great awe and devotion. They swear by her literally. The temple is a small one unlike the imposing Jagannath Temple of Baripada and other famous temples of Odisha. Its outer walls are painted in gorgeous colors and the temple complex is quite moderate in size. The interior walls display paintings depicting stories of mythological themes. The temple is surrounded by many stalls selling prasad, flowers and incense. The official one near the temple main gate sells good khuas and pedas for prasad,.and ghee smeared earthen lamps. Ambika, the goddess has four arms, each holding a dreaded weapon. She is the incarnation of Goddess Durga. As is the practice in all Durga temples, there is also a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva inside the compound. Morning and evening Aaratis are elaborate and are well attended. Devotional songs are sung during these times. One can order Anna Prasad in case of a manasika or promise of an offering made earlier. The food is cooked in the temple kitchen before it is offered to the deity before being partaken by family and friends of the devotee. The modern temple is located less than one km from Jagannath temple and King's palace and slightly above one km from the private bus stand of Baripada. There used to be animal sacrifices in the temple complex earlier. Do not have the latest status on that.

Barehipani Waterfall, within Similipal National Park, is a majestic two-tiered cascade, one of India's highest. Its nearly 400-meter drop creates a stunning spectacle amidst dense forests. The sheer scale and natural beauty offer a tranquil, immersive experience. Located in a tiger reserve, access is regulated, requiring park entry. The waterfall's powerful rush and serene surroundings captivate visitors, making it a must-see for nature lovers. Remember to check park regulations before visiting, as access can be limited.

One of the beautiful places in Jamshedpur to visit. The water is very clean. Speed boat facility is also there with Rs 1050 per boat of 6 passengers. Some small temporary shops are there where you'll get juice, cold drinks, tea, and packaged snacks. The water gates of the dam look beautiful.

The JRD Tata Sports Complex Stadium, also known as The Furnace, is a 40,000-capacity (often limited to 24,424) stadium in Jamshedpur, India. It is used mostly for association football matches and athletics competitions. It has been the home stadium of Jamshedpur FC since the 2017–18 season. Spread over 30 acres of area, the complex has an 8-lane synthetic track, international-size swimming pool, boxing centre, skating area, basketball court, archery ground, handball ground, lawn tennis court, volleyball court, table tennis hall, chess centre and adventure sports.

I would still rate it 5 stars because of the pristine beauty and the clean surroundings. The lush forest ensures the survival of animals and the pathway is amazing for hikes in the morning. Just one tip-i know there's a shop just at the ticket counter but a lot of people come in the morning from far away. So it would be awesome if water and some food items like biscuit or egg and bread is sold for the visitors

Avoid littering and loud noises that can disturb the animals.

A few days back, I had the opportunity to visit Dassam Falls, located near Ranchi in Jharkhand, and it was an absolutely refreshing experience. The natural beauty, the sound of the cascading water, and the overall vibe of the place left me feeling peaceful and rejuvenated. The falls are around 40 km from Ranchi and easily accessible by road. The journey itself is scenic, with greenery on both sides. Once you reach the falls, the sound of water crashing down from about 44 meters high is simply mesmerizing. There are steps built to take you closer to the base of the waterfall, allowing a great view and some amazing photo opportunities. The water flow was strong during my visit due to the monsoon season, which made it even more majestic. However, I noticed that there are clear warning signs not to go into the water, as the current can be dangerous — and it’s best to respect those. Things I liked: Clean and well-maintained surroundings Great spot for photography and nature lovers Ample parking space Small stalls nearby for snacks and tea A few tips for visitors: Avoid getting into the water for safety reasons Wear comfortable shoes if you plan to walk down the stairs Best time to visit is during or just after the monsoon for full water flow Early morning or late afternoon visits are more peaceful and less crowded Overall, Dassam Falls is a must-visit natural attraction in Jharkhand, especially if you're around Ranchi. Perfect destination for those who love bike riding. One can be there in a private or rental cab als. Not too away from Ranchi. You can enjoy the journey though the forest surrounded by hills. Condition of road was super smooth. During monsoon the it looks mesmerizing. Ticket: ₹10 per person, Extra ticket for bike and cars

Beautiful place to visit.. Water is very clear and the is shallow water so kids can enjoy too.. Only demerit is that you have to climb down a steep slope which may be difficult for some people especially elderly people.

It was a good experience with my kid and family. The walk was quite long nonetheless. This is mostly because we missed to hire a buggy at the entrance (highly recommended if you are with kids and elderly). The park is very neat and clean other than the usual animal smell nothing else. Considering the weather and heat, we felt The Black Bear was more welcoming than others 🤫😬. I know that my kid enjoyed the walk in the zoo. The timing to visit I felt like entry by 10:15/10:30 and exit by 01:00/01:30 PM to be ideal with kids and elderly. Carry water and small snacks but make sure to use dustbins when done. Variety of birds, animals and reptiles are in the zoo. Overall I will say a good experience.

I was also under the impression that Tagore hill is named after Ravindranath Tagore but no it’s named after Jyotirindranath Tagore. You can read about the same in one of the images posted. This place is beautiful, you can come here to relax.

Pahadi Mandir is one of the most iconic and spiritual places in Ranchi. It is Situated on top of a hill, the temple offers a serene atmosphere and a panoramic view of the city. Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is a very beautiful location about 400 stairs to go. All basic facilities / amenities available in route and near temple also. Good management by the temple committee. Parking available by a nearby shop at the start. During rush hour it is good to come by Cab service. Good vibes all around. Amazing City view at the top. Try to go early to avoid rush.

A nice place for senior citizens for morning and evening walks with a very natural and calm atmosphere but nowadays it was closed for the general public except senior citizens.
