Sahastra Baahu Temple (Saas- Bahu)

Hindu temple
Sights & Landmarks
Partially ruined Hindu temple complex, dating to the 10th century CE, with intricate stone carvings.
Beautiful temple on the lake side! Not so crowded, one of the rare ones where actually you can sit in peace and breathe in tranquility, fresh air (!) and beauty. Walk around and admire amazing architecture and detailed carvings. We were there around 9-10am on Saturday morning, so I would recommend similar time if you want to experience it calmly without many tourists.

Ruins of some majestic temples. It's a temple complex with several big and small temples; destroyed by Iltutmish. The temple still stands as an example of the grandeur of temple architecture in India. It's built in Maru-Gurjara style and is dated to late 10th century (over a thousand years old). I hope the temples here could be revived and handed over to devotees (who must be checked to keep it clean, and preserved like the ASI does). I can't help but think of the days these temples were alive and blessing all beings by their energies. I wish we could recreate that!
Shikha — Google review
Historical place, beautiful heritage site. It’s almost 30Kms from Udaipur. Not well maintained but it’s architecture is eye catching.
Ashutosh B — Google review
It was most beautiful temple I visited till now but there's no murti inside any of these temples. But the carvings at outside and inside of these temples were awesome and depict kamasutra. I visited on weekend of peak season but there was only 2-3 person because no videography or photoshoot allowed. If you want to just see real beauty of historic indian sculpture carvings, you must visit there. I personally liked this lake beside this temple more than Udaipur lakes.
Tarun S — Google review
Sas Bahu temples architecture is vibrant and detailed, I wonder how more beautiful it must be during its self in back time, every stong has story of design in details, statues are so clear and visible
Mithun G — Google review
They are locally referred to as Sas Bahu temples (a local corruption of the original Sahasra-Bahu, meaning "One with thousand arms", a form of Vishnu). ✨ Nagda was once an important city of Mewar, possibly a capital of one of its rulers. ✨ Iltutmish (Delhi emperor of that time) destroyed Nagda in 1226. ✨ It is a commonly held belief that the queen of Mahipala was a devotee of Lord Vishnu. ✨King got constructed temple for his beloved spouse who worshipped Vishnu. Later prince married a princess who worshipped Shiv. ✨So, another temple dedicated to Shiv was constructed for daughter in law. Since, Vishnu temple was constrcuted first this temple is known as Sahastrabahu temple. ✨As the time passed it got corrupted to Saas bahu temple due to its origin. Location: It is a heritage site and located 20 km from Udaipur It is massive and worth a visit. Easily accesible and road journey is fantastic. Make sure to visit this place during your visit to Rajasthan.

One of the most conveniently located hypermarket of the city for localities & tourist. Part of BIZ BAZAR CHAIN where you get stuff for entire family right from clothing to foot wares, grocery to vegetables, home appliances to utencils and toys to stationary for all ages groups. You may find lot of unskilled & untrained sales boys /girls who may not help you as expected. You might get issue with same day alteration issue if u are shopping in late evening. You are surely expected to face parking issue as well even in weekdays. But in spite of all these.. its worth visiting BB for "almost all under one roof".

Saheliyon ki bari

Garden
Nature & Parks
Park
Saheliyon ki Bari, a stunning garden in Udaipur, is renowned for its lush greenery, intricate marble art, and enchanting fountains. Built by the Maharana for the royal ladies of Mewar, it features four water pools, marble elephants, kiosks, and fountains. The garden also houses a museum displaying household items and pets of the residents.
Beautiful and peaceful place to visit in Udaipur. The fountains, marble pavilions, and lotus pools are truly mesmerizing. The garden is clean, well-maintained, and full of greenery that gives a calm and refreshing vibe. It’s a perfect spot for photography and to relax for a while away from the city noise. Gardens are huge in size, and you can even play many games when visiting with a big group of family or friends. The water fountains still work perfectly, adding charm to the atmosphere. A must-visit place for anyone coming to Udaipur.
Shivam P — Google review
Saheliyon Ki Bari is a beautiful and peaceful garden, perfect for nature lovers. The entry ticket is ₹30, and there is a common washroom available near the entrance, which is convenient for visitors. The garden has lush greenery, fountains, lotus ponds, marble structures, and an artificial water jharana, which make it a nice spot for a relaxing walk. The evening time is especially good for photography because of the soft natural light and calm atmosphere. However, if you expect a very large or grand garden, it may feel a bit smaller than expected. Still, the atmosphere, greenery, and fountain areas make it a pleasant place to visit. Overall, it's a good and peaceful garden to spend 20–30 minutes, especially if you enjoy nature and photography. Saheliyon Ki Bari was built in the 18th century by Maharana Sangram Singh II. According to history, it was created for the 48 maids (saheliyan) who came with the queen as part of her dowry. The king built this garden to give them a peaceful place to relax, spend time together, and enjoy the fountains. This garden was designed as a private retreat for the royal ladies, where they could walk, chat, and enjoy the sound of water fountains away from the palace duties. The fountains work purely on water pressure without any pumps, which shows the excellent engineering of that time. A beautiful, peaceful, and green garden with fountains and photo spots. Good for nature lovers, though slightly smaller than expectations. Worth a quick visit for its history and calm atmosphere
Kishor P — Google review
Saheliyon ki Bari, or the "Garden of Maidens," was built between 1710 and 1734 AD by Maharana Sangram Singh II of Mewar. Its singular purpose was to provide a delightful and exclusive pleasure garden for the royal ladies and their maids of honour, offering a glimpse into a bygone, luxurious life. The garden's architectural marvel lies in its harmonious integration of Mughal and Rajasthani styles. It features lush, green lawns and a central lotus pool. The most distinctive elements are the white marble pavilions, or chhatris, which stand elegantly against the backdrop of the white walls. Water is the soul of this space. The garden is famed for its numerous fountains, which are supplied from the nearby Fateh Sagar Lake (and later merged into the Bari by Maharana Fateh Singh). These fountains operate without pumps, using a complex hydrostatic pressure system, a testament to 18th century's engineering. Ornamental details are delicate and abundant. Stone carved chhatris feature beautiful floral motifs and repetitive arches, as seen in the dark, richly sculpted archways and canopies. A whimsical fountain, adorned with carved mermaid like figures, stands as a charming focal point in the paved courtyard. Ultimately, Saheliyon ki Bari is a tranquil oasis. Its delicate balance of architecture, floral beds, and the soothing sound of perpetually flowing fountains makes it a beautiful memorial to the private leisure of the royal women of Udaipur.
Rizwan U — Google review
Saheliyon ki bari - A huge and majestic garden located near the banks of Fateh sagar lake, was built by Maharana Sangram Sinh for the royal ladies. He presented this garden to his queen. The queen was accompanied by 48 maids in her wedding. To offer all of them pleasurable moments away from the political environment, this garden was made. This patterned garden used to be the popular relaxing spot of the royal ladies. It has many sections, fountains, lotus pool and marble elephants. Currently, the fountains are managey electronically. But in the old times, this was managed by the vacuum. The garden is very well maintained and full of greenery. There is a nominal entry fees. Must recommend everyone to visit.
Milan P — Google review
If you love history, beautiful landscapes, and unique architecture, Saheliyon Ki Bari is highly recommended. It’s a wonderful place to appreciate the artistry and thoughtfulness of the Maharana's gift to the royal ladies. Best Time to Visit: Go during the winter months (October to March) or the monsoon (July to September) when the greenery is at its most vibrant. Time Required: You can easily explore the entire garden and the small adjacent museum (which has some interesting artifacts) in 45 minutes to 1 hour. It's a quick, worthwhile stop. Timing: Try to visit in the early morning (opens at 9:00 AM) or late afternoon (around 5:00 PM) to avoid the midday heat and the biggest crowds. Location: It's conveniently located near Fateh Sagar Lake and Sukhadia Circle, making it easy to fit into your itinerary.
RAHUL S — Google review
Amazing Gardens and fountains built over 200 years ago. Some of the fountains and sprinklers are in wrought iron and imported from Liverpool back then. Some marble fountains are actually marvel fountains with water moving through hollow legs or elephants and out their trunks or through hollow pillars and out the pergola. All of this is using gravity and there are no pumps to keep the water the moving - the water comes from the Fatehsagar lake which is 80 - 90 mts higher than the gardens and the height of the fountain therefore depends on the level of water in the lake. Amazing engineering.......
Alok M — Google review
Visited this garden in Udaipur, entry ticket is ₹30 per person. It’s nicely maintained with clean toilets and even fresh drinking water available at the entry, which is great. The garden itself is good, but since I went during the daytime, the harsh sun made it difficult to enjoy fully. They definitely need more big trees for shade to make the experience more comfortable. The only parts I truly loved were the Savan Bhado and Bin Badal Barsat spots inside the garden - those were beautiful!
Akanksha V — Google review
Saheliyon Ki Bari always offers an immense and refreshing experience! This was my second visit — the first time was in 2011 after our marriage. The garden is peaceful, calm, and beautifully maintained, with lush greenery, fountains, and charming pathways. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing stroll, quiet reflection, or photography, and it truly captures the serene charm of Udaipur. A must-visit for anyone seeking peace amidst nature and history. 🌿✨

Shrinathji Temple, Udaipur

Hindu temple
Sights & Landmarks
Sacred & Religious Sites
Shree Nath Ji Temple, also known as Shrinathji Temple, is a significant pilgrimage center for Vaishnavs located in Nathdwara, about 48 kilometers from Udaipur city in Rajasthan. The town is renowned for its temple dedicated to Lord Krishna and for the famous Nathdwara Paintings. This beautiful temple is a popular destination for devotees from around the world who come to witness the various forms of Lord Krishna.
This is the temple of Shrinathji which is located in the Old City area in udaipur. I suggest that people need to visit this temple also because whenever I come here I don't find any difference between nathdwara shrinathji darshan and udaipur shrinathji darshan Same facility same culture same darshan & also I find easy darshan over here.
Himanshu M — Google review
Shrinathji temple of Udaipur, This temple will give you same spiritual vibes as that of Shrinathji Mandir of Nathdwara. The atmosphere in the temple is vibrant and peaceful
Dr. S — Google review
Many of the reviews for this mandir have unrelated photos attached. Many of the photos are of the wrong location or of other mandirs. This mandir is the charan chauki of shrinathji when bhagwan was shifted from Nathdwara to Udaipur by Maharana Rai Singhji for protection of the mandir. Thakorji stayed here for 10 months before shifting back to Nathdwara into the main mandir and then to ghasiyar. In this mandir there is all the facilities for shriji seva that you would find in Nathdwara. There is a gaushala, yamunaji kund, giriraj mandir, and acharya bethakji mandir, ghee and tel kuva, and sona chandi ghanti. There is also a mandir for dauji and a small Shivji mandir in the temple complex. This mandir has two main entrance points which is why google maps shows multiple location points for this mandir. Unlike Nathdwara you will be able to enter with your phone and bag and the security is even nice enough to let you take photos and videos of anything except the main darshan of shrinathji. However, the courtyard and all the other areas are able to be videoed.

Shrinathji Temple in Udaipur has a very special charm. It’s tucked away in the old city and offers a quiet, spiritual atmosphere without the crowds you might find in Nathdwara. The temple is built like a traditional haveli—with beautiful courtyards, intricate architecture, and calm surroundings. The darshan experience was smooth and peaceful, and I loved the way the rituals are followed here with devotion and grace. The aartis are soulful, especially the Shringar and Rajbhog darshan. You can really feel the spiritual energy during those moments. The priests are respectful, and the temple is well-maintained and clean. ✅ Calm and serene vibe ✅ Beautiful traditional design ✅ Great for peaceful darshan without rush ✅ A hidden gem in Udaipur’s old city If you're in Udaipur and looking for a meaningful spiritual experience, this place is a must-visit. 🙏

Jagdish Temple is a significant Hindu temple in Udaipur, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The 16th-century structure showcases intricate carvings depicting ancient Hindu legends. Visitors can witness spiritual ceremonies conducted by Brahmins and devotees inside the temple. While entrance is free, donations are welcomed. Another notable temple in Udaipur is Mahakaleshwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and located along the banks of Fateh Sagar Lake.
One of the most beautiful temples in Rajasthan and very peaceful place of worship. The temple is located close to Udaipur City Palace and in the old town which can be accessed by bikes and tuk-tuks. Entry to the temple is free but you can decide to donate to the temples upkeep at the gate. Shoes aren't allowed inside (even in bags) so you have to leave at the lockers. Jagdish Temple is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places to visit in Udaipur. Visiting in the morning is especially nice, as the darshan is easy and the atmosphere is calm. Inside the temple, the local devotional sangeet creates a very soothing and divine environment. The walls and pillars are decorated with old, intricate Rajasthani and Indo-Aryan carvings, which are truly beautiful and perfect for photography. When you step inside, you can actually feel a strong spiritual energy that makes the visit memorable. The temple was built in 1651 by Maharana Jagat Singh I and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Lord Jagannath). It is famous for its Indo-Aryan architecture, a black stone idol of Vishnu, and beautifully carved pillars and walls that show dancers, gods, and elephants. A must-visit temple in Udaipur—peaceful, photogenic, spiritual, and full of history.

Beautiful and peaceful temple with amazing architecture and a very calm atmosphere. The place feels truly spiritual, but the roads around it are very narrow, only one car can pass at a time, so it’s better to park your car near City Palace or anywhere outside the old city area. The stairs are quite high, so if you have leg or knee pain, it’s better to avoid climbing. Overall, a lovely temple to visit and take blessings.

Jagdish temple is one of the architecturally and artistically significant temples of North India. It was built by Maharana Jagat Singh-l in 1652 A.D. This temple represents Nagar style of temple architecture and has shikhar, garbh graha (sanctum sanctorum) and sabhamandap. The outer part of the temple is decorated with beautiful sculptures. An inscription placed therein gives detailed information about Guhil rulers and the temple. On all the four sides of this panchayatan type temple, small shrines for Surya, Shiva and Ganesha are located. Beautiful and peaceful temple with amazing architecture and a very calm atmosphere. It is nice historical temple of lord Vishnu in udaipur. Temple is situated in old city. You can reach this temple easily by bike, Taxi or car. I visited at around 9:00 in morning, so crowd is less. But with time crowd getting more and more. Whenever you visit udaipur, I suggest start you journey from here by taking blessings of Bhagwan Vishnu.

Bagore Ki Haveli is an ornate 18th-century palace located near Gangaur Ghat on the banks of Lake Pichola in Udaipur. This historic building, constructed between 1751 and 1778, boasts over 100 rooms showcasing traditional costumes, puppets, antique items such as jewelry boxes and copper utensils, as well as modern art. The interior features intricate mirror and glass work that adds to its allure.
An Ancient Historical Monument in Udaipur.. May be visited if have some time to hangout. Puppet Museum inside is the best thing.. Good for having Lake View Photography. Folk Dance Show may also be seen here.. in 2 slots of 7 to 8 and 8 to 9.. 200 seats in each Show.. It's good to book tickets online in advance for any inconveniences...

Very long queue both for tickets and entry. Online option is not easily found on the web. Some of the performances were good but some very average, specially the duet snake dance performers, they were both doing their own thing ,no co-ordination and appeared to be very casual. The group dances were good. Overall seemed a little like a tourist trap

Bagore ki haveli offers you 2 kinds of experiences, one is the rich history through its museum and the beautiful view and sunset that you can catch from it's jharokhaas and windows. And the other one is ofcourse the dharohar dance show that you cannot miss at any cost. Book the tickets beforehand and buy another ticket for your camera as it's worth it. I went there thrice, and each time it had something new to offer.
Asma — Google review
Bagore Ki Haveli is a beautifully maintained heritage haveli located near Gangaur Ghat on Lake Pichola. The entry ticket is ₹60, which makes it a very budget-friendly attraction. You can explore the entire haveli in about 30–45 minutes. Inside, you’ll see old Rajasthani rooms, colorful glasswork, jharokhas, traditional costumes, utensils, masks, turbans, and artwork, which show how people lived in the old Mewar period. It’s also a great place for photography, with beautiful courtyards and mirror work. If you want to watch the traditional folk dance and puppet show, there is a separate ticket for the Dharohar Cultural Show held in the evening. The folk dance, music, and puppet performance offer a wonderful glimpse into Rajasthan’s cultural traditions. Bagore Ki Haveli was built in the 18th century by Amar Chand Badwa, the prime minister of Mewar. Later, it was used by members of the royal family, including Maharana Shakti Singh of Bagore. The haveli has more than 100 rooms, courtyards, and beautifully carved balconies. After years of neglect, it was restored by the West Zone Cultural Centre, which turned it into a museum showcasing Mewar’s heritage. A nice, peaceful heritage spot with affordable entry, perfect for a short visit. Great for learning about old Rajasthani culture and also for enjoying the evening folk dance show.

I visited Bagore ki Haveli museum yesterday and it was brilliant. Previously a guest house and a government office, this is now converted into a cultural center and museum. Entry to the venue is ticketed and foreigner tickets cost INR150 and can be bought at the gates.

Heritage Place must once to visit ...... Locate at "old udaipur city" with very narrow streets, only way to visit place by "Auto" or must took service of "rental vehicle" to visit Entire Udaipur Places. Must book the advance tickets for "Night show" of local traditional folk dance, and must view this show. Folk Dance Show timings in 2 slots of 7 to 8 p.m and 8 to 9 p.m.. 200 seats in each Show.. 8-9 p.m specific introduce looking to the diwali 🎇 🪔. It's good to book tickets online in advance for any inconveniences...

A well maintained haveli. Museum has a nice collection of old and antique items. Entry ticket for museum is 60/- per person. They have a dance show in evening for which buying tickets in advance is good option.

If you want to witness the full culture of Udaipur, the intricacies, the preserved details, then visit this gem of a place. But pay attention for it is the sanctum sanctorum of the godman of Mewar, Thakur Amar Chand Badwa. Inside there are chambers dark, dusty, classy and machiavellian. Four Maharanas were outclassed, outstrategized, and out-aestheticised by one Pradhan who built a temple to himself and called it home - Bagore Ki Haveli.

One of the most beautiful palace I have ever visited. It's very magnificent and well maintained. The museum has lot of information. The weapons used during those days, the paintings, dress and culture all are very well preserved. It's a must visit place. There are authorised guides at the entrance please hire one for 500 to get the detailed information about the palace. Do not exit from the exit gate which you will need to pay 50 more and have to take a boat ride which is way expensive instead exit from the entry gate where there are lot of shopping options. There are is also authentic Rajasthani Thali available inside the palace which is good and reasonable.

I had an unforgettable experience staying at Taj Fateh Prakash Palace. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome and excellent hospitality made us feel truly special. The staff were attentive, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The palace itself is breathtaking — a perfect blend of history, heritage, and luxury. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and offered spectacular views of Lake Pichola and the City Palace. Every detail reflected royal elegance. We also enjoyed the dining experience; the food was delicious with a wide variety of traditional and international dishes. The ambiance was serene and made our evenings memorable. Overall, it was a magical stay that combined comfort, culture, and top-class service. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Udaipur who wants to feel like royalty. Jaipur Local Guide

We stayed at Taj Fateh Prakash Palace, Udaipur for one night, and there’s no denying...it truly feels like stepping into history. The property is gorgeous, with that grand, royal charm that makes you feel like you’re inside a living palace. Location is absolutely unbeatable. Right next to the City Palace and overlooking Lake Pichola with postcard views of the Taj Lake Palace...this is as prime as it gets. You’re close to everything worth visiting in Udaipur, and the lakefront setting is simply breathtaking. Watching the sunset from the poolside area is a mesmerizing ...you could honestly sit there for hours soaking it all in. Coming to rooms...we stayed in the base category room, and while it had an old-world vibe, it felt a bit small and could’ve been cleaner, especially considering the price point. The windows don’t open, which makes the space feel a little closed off ....balconies or openable windows would make a big difference in bringing in that beautiful view. Lets come to service....this is where the experience dipped a little. There seemed to be only one staff member handling almost everything..luggage, room service, housekeeping and he was clearly overworked. The effort was appreciated, but the hotel definitely needs more helping hands. The staff overall wasn’t rude, but they also weren’t particularly warm or proactive....something you’d expect at a five-star property. The breakfast buffet was decent for Indian taste buds...nothing extravagant, but good enough. Service during breakfast was again quite slow. You often had to ask (and ask again) for things. Despite the service hiccups, I’d still recommend staying here at least once mainly for the location, views, and that timeless palace charm. Just don’t expect the same level of attentiveness you’d get at other Taj/or Marriott/Accor properties.

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Taj Fateh Prakash Palace, Udaipur. Despite booking two rooms and staying for two nights, the service fell short of expectations. The most concerning incident was at the terrace restaurant's female washroom, where a male member entered and handled my infant child in an inappropriate and unhygienic manner. He washed the child's genitals and forced our maid to make the child stand on a potty seat loaded with germs. This was not only shocking but also posed a significant health risk. The lack of supervision and disregard for hygiene and privacy were alarming. As a guest, I expect a certain level of care and respect, especially when it comes to the well-being of my child. Considering the premium brand reputation, I hope the management takes necessary steps to address these issues and ensure a safer, more respectful experience for future guests. Being a member at Taj and a frequent visitor at various Taj properties around the country. This is the first time I have experienced such a behaviour. Hence highly disappointed.

Stunning Views, Beautiful Hotel — But Surprising Shortcomings I stayed at Taj Fateh Prakash after the Taj Lake Palace to continue my birthday celebrations, and the Grand Luxury Suite Lake View was breathtaking — the balcony views were even better than at the Lake Palace. The hotel is gorgeous, and the housekeeping staff was lovely. However, the infrastructure is split between buildings, with tourist spots in between that get crowded and affect the exclusive feel. The bar was closed on a Saturday night, which is unbelievable for a luxury hotel. In-room amenities were disappointing: empty minibar, plastic water bottles instead of glass, missing jacuzzi amenities, no wine glasses, no coffee machine, and no emergency phones in corridors. While everything was eventually resolved, these issues shouldn’t exist at this level. It’s a beautiful property with spectacular views, but the standards need to rise to match its potential.

House of Ming Restaurant Review The food didn’t quite meet our expectations, especially given the premium pricing. The starters were unexpectedly sweet almost as if they had been dipped in honey which didn’t align with what we were hoping for in terms of flavor. When paying such high prices, one looks forward to authentic or at least closely authentic cuisine, but unfortunately, we found the overall taste lacking. We ordered seven dishes, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, and none truly stood out in terms of authenticity or quality. It's a bit disappointing, particularly from the Taj group, which is known for excellence. We genuinely hope there will be improvements in the food quality to better reflect the standards and value associated with the brand.

Lake Pichola, an artificial freshwater lake in Udaipur, Rajasthan, offers boat rides and is home to several islands with palaces. Built in 1362, it was initially intended to meet the city's water and irrigation needs. The lake has four islands including Arsi villa & Jag Niwas, which houses a small palace and a sanctuary for bird watching.
It’s a very scenic and beautiful lake in Udaipur. One of the must visit places. It is near gangaur ghat and Karni Mata temple. You can also do boating but the cost is 800/- per person. It is near city palace for which the entry is too costly which is not worth it. You can come here to relax but avoid the boat ride and the palace visit, you’re not missing much. It can get crowded during the season. There are multiple shops nearby and chats also. Very peaceful at nights.

Jagmandir Island Palace, also known as Lake Garden Palace, is a 17th-century island palace located on the tranquil shores of Lake Pichola in Udaipur. This upscale hotel offers stylish dining, stunning lake views, a spa, and a museum. The palace complex features enchanting divisions such as Gul Mahal, Garden Courtyard, Darikhana, Bara Patharon ka Mahal, Zenana Mahal, and Kunwar Pada ka.
We visited Jagmandir Udaipur recently, and it was magical! The boat ride to this island palace on Lake Pichola was scenic, with stunning views of the lake and hills. The palace is gorgeous, with lush gardens and intricate carvings that feel so royal. Wandering the courtyards was peaceful, and the staff shared fascinating history, making it special. The café’s snacks and drinks were delicious, and sipping coffee by the lake was perfect. The only downsides were no elevator, so stairs were tough for my parents, and a small pool area would’ve been nice.

We had a lovely dinner at Darikhana. The food is top notch and so is the ambience. We were taken care by Laksham Meena ji, who made sure he give all the historical information while serving the food with patience and kindness. And also chef made sure to make us try small bites as his compliments. Over all, a lovely experience :)

Jagmandir is a must-visit island in Udaipur and easily one of the city’s most photogenic spots. The place is very well maintained and offers a unique atmosphere—perfect for those looking for memorable photos and a slice of Udaipur’s charm. Although the food is on the expensive side, the overall vibe makes up for it. The boat ride from the city center adds a fun touch to the trip, but be prepared for possible waiting times; in our case, it was a two-hour wait, which was quite disappointing. Still, Jagmandir is absolutely worth seeing if you have some flexibility in your schedule.

Nice place for classy photos with clean and aesthetic place. Boat ride of pichola lake with visit to this place costs 600 rs/person in morning slot up to 2 pm. After 2pm cost will be 800 rs/ person for sunset view. But cost worth the view and Europe like vibe in India. ❤️

Would be an awesome place to watch sunset from. They do have accommodation but I believe very limited number of rooms though. The lake view restaurant is just great and the food too is pretty good.
Jagadish M — Google review
To reach Jagmandir Island, you’ll need to take a boat ride across Lake Pichola. Tickets can be purchased either at the City Palace ticket counter or near the lake itself. The ticket prices vary depending on the time of day, with morning rides being cheaper and evening rides slightly costlier. The boat ride takes about 15–20 minutes, offering a beautiful round trip across Lake Pichola before dropping you at the island. Be prepared for long queues, as the waiting time can be 1–2 hours, especially during peak hours. Once on the island, there isn’t much to explore, but it’s a great place to relax, enjoy the peaceful lake views, and walk through the beautiful gardens and old palace-like structures. You can also click great photos with the lake and Udaipur city in the backdrop. There’s a restaurant and café on the island, perfect for grabbing snacks or drinks while enjoying the scenic surroundings. After your visit, you can take a return boat back to the City Palace jetty. Overall, a calm and scenic experience, best enjoyed for its views and atmosphere rather than sightseeing.

Kind of a unique palace in the middle of a massive lake. You can get good coffee and enjoy your evenings walking in the garden. You get there by a boat ride with one ticket costing 650 rupees per person for Indians

Nature & Wildlife Areas
Located near the majestic Sajjangarh Palace, Sajjangarh Wildlife Sanctuary offers a wild retreat in Udaipur. The sanctuary spans 1,235 acres and was established in 1884 by Maharana Sajjan Singh. It is home to diverse flora and fauna, offering opportunities for jungle safaris amidst lush greenery where visitors can spot deer, peacocks, and if lucky, even a leopard.
We came across this place on the map and thought it would be a perfect spot to catch the sunrise. Sadly, the sky was cloudy that morning, so we missed it—but honestly, the view was still totally worth it! You can see the whole city from up there, and it’s even visible from Fateh Sagar Lake. The drive itself was nice—we took our own car and stopped at a few beautiful spots on the way just to soak it all in. Parking cost us ₹350, and the entry fee for the wildlife area was ₹140 per person. If you don’t have your own vehicle, you can hire a taxi that takes you right up to the palace. The greenery around the wildlife sanctuary was lovely, and once you reach the top, the view of the mountains and city from the rooftop just takes your breath away. The palace, that is in Wildlife sanctuary built back in the 1800s, is really well maintained. It’s a peaceful place—you can sit for a while, relax, and take some great photos. If you’re planning to visit, I’d definitely recommend going either early in the morning or later in the evening. It opens at 9 AM and closes at 6 PM, but it gets quite crowded in the middle of the day. Also, avoid going during the peak summer heat—it gets really hot and hazy, and you won’t enjoy the view as much. One tip: carry some water and a few snacks. There is a restaurant inside, but it’s a bit expensive, so better to eat before you go or just keep something handy. Give yourself at least 2 to 3 hours to explore at a relaxed pace. It’s not the kind of place you want to rush through. All in all, a lovely experience. If you’ve got time in Udaipur, definitely try to fit this into your plan!

Sajjangarh Wildlife Sanctuary, located on the outskirts of Udaipur, Rajasthan, is a serene escape into nature that offers a unique blend of wildlife, scenic beauty, and historical charm. Nestled around the famous Sajjangarh (Monsoon) Palace, the sanctuary spreads across a lush green landscape that contrasts beautifully with Udaipur’s arid surroundings. Visitors can expect a peaceful and moderately adventurous experience. The sanctuary is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including panthers, sambars, wild boars, jackals, and numerous bird species. While sightings of large mammals can be rare, the natural trails and quiet ambiance make it ideal for nature walks, birdwatching, and photography. The highlight for many is the panoramic view from the Monsoon Palace, which provides a breathtaking overlook of the sanctuary and surrounding Aravalli hills—especially during sunrise or sunset. The well-maintained pathways, availability of guides, and minimal entry fees make it accessible and enjoyable for families and solo travelers alike. While it may not compare to larger national parks in terms of animal sightings, Sajjangarh Wildlife Sanctuary offers a peaceful, enriching experience for those looking to connect with nature and explore the quieter side of Udaipur. It's a hidden gem worth visiting.
Vivek M — Google review
Sajjangarh Wildlife Sanctuary is a compact 5.19 sq. km green expanse nestled in the Aravalli hills, just 5 km from Udaipur. It acts as a critical watershed, feeding the city's famous Pichhola and Fatehsagar lake systems. The sanctuary's crowning jewel is the Sajjangarh (Monsoon) Palace, perched high on Bansdara Hill. This historic spot offers visitors breathtaking, panoramic views of the entire cityscape and the surrounding mountain ranges. The area supports diverse wildlife, notably the Leopard, Sambar Deer, Spotted Deer (Chital), Hyena, and Jackal. It is a vital refuge for mammals, including the Grey Langur and the secretive Indian Pangolin. Vegetation is characteristic of a Tropical Dry Deciduous Forest, featuring Anogeissus pendula. Look out for the threatened medicinal plant Commiphora wightii (Guggul). Over 129 bird species also reside here. Originally the hunting grounds of the Mewar Maharanas, the area became a protected sanctuary in 1987. Sajjangarh now perfectly blends historical charm with crucial ecological efforts through its popular nature trails.

Sajjangarh Monsoon Palace, also known as Monsoon Mahal, is a stunning white marble palace perched on a high hill in Udaipur. Built by Maharana Sajjan Singh of the Mewar Dynasty, this palace offers breathtaking panoramic views of Fatehsagar Lake and the surrounding countryside.
I visited the Monsoon Palace in Udaipur yesterday and it was great. This is located around 20mins from the city centre and easily accessible using taxis. Entry for foreigners cost INR560 + parking for car on the top cost INR360 and must be bought at the gate. The mountain top location provides amazing views over the lakes and Udaipur which was one of the reasons for the visit. The fort palace is beautiful, well preserved but smaller compared to forts like Amer fort and also hosts a museum. It was a quiet and peaceful visit, highly recommended!
Sanka I — Google review
So I visited the Monsoon Palace recently, and honestly, it’s one of those places that’s more about the view than the palace itself. It’s located on a high hill a bit outside the main city, and once you reach the top, you can literally see all of Udaipur — the lakes, City Palace, and everything else. The view is amazing, especially around sunset or during monsoon when it’s cloudy. Getting there is a bit of a ride though. The road is quite steep and curvy, and it takes around 15–25 minutes to reach the top if you’re going by car or scooty. The entry fee is ₹170 per person, and they also charge ₹300 for cars and ₹70 for two-wheelers. There’s a cab service from the base too, around ₹120 per person if you don’t want to drive up yourself. Once you’re at the top, there’s a small parking area, and you have to walk for about 5 minutes to reach the palace. There’s a small café near the palace that sells basic snacks like samosas, puffs, tea, and cold drinks — nothing fancy but it’s good enough if you just want a quick bite or some water. The palace itself is okay-ish, not very grand or well-maintained, but that’s not really the main attraction. The views from up there totally steal the show. You can see the whole city spread out below — it’s especially beautiful during sunset. Overall, I’d say it’s worth going once, mainly for the views and the drive. Don’t expect a super fancy palace, but if you enjoy scenic spots, it’s a nice little trip.

Breathtaking Views & Royal Vibes – A Must Visit in Udaipur! Monsoon Palace (Sajjangarh Palace) is one of the best viewpoints in Udaipur. The drive up the hill is scenic, and once you reach the top, the panoramic view of the entire city, lakes, and Aravalli hills is absolutely stunning—especially during sunset. The sky turns golden, and the breeze makes the experience unforgettable. The palace itself has a charming old-world feel. It’s not heavily decorated inside, but the location and atmosphere make it worth the visit. The area is well maintained, and there are plenty of spots to sit, relax, and take pictures. Entry fees are reasonable, and there are basic facilities available. Parking is organized, but it can get crowded during peak hours, so arriving a little early is a good idea. Overall, Monsoon Palace is a perfect place for photography, romantic views, and enjoying Udaipur’s natural beauty. Highly recommended—especially during monsoon and sunset! 🌅🏰🌿
Akash G — Google review
beautiful spot with one of the best sunset views in Udaipur. The drive up the hill is scenic, and once you reach the top, you get a breathtaking panoramic view of the city, lakes, and surrounding hills. It’s especially nice during or after monsoon when everything looks green and fresh. On the downside, there isn’t much to see inside the palace — it’s more about the view than the structure itself. The entry fee plus vehicle charge can feel a bit high, and the road uphill is narrow, so it’s better to go with a local driver. Also, there’s limited food or water available at the top, so carrying your own bottle is a good idea. Overall, it’s a great place for sunset lovers and photography, but go mainly for the view, not the palace interiors.

Breathtaking Views and Royal Charm Above the Aravallis! Our visit to Monsoon Palace (Sajjangarh Fort) was truly memorable! Perched high on a hilltop, the palace offers one of the best panoramic views of Udaipur city, Fateh Sagar Lake, and the surrounding Aravalli Hills. The palace itself has a simple yet elegant architecture that reflects royal charm and history. Though the interiors are minimal, the real highlight is the location and the spectacular scenery it offers in every direction. The ride to the top can be steep and narrow at places, but the view at the end makes it all worthwhile. There’s also a small café and a few viewing points where you can relax and enjoy the cool breeze. Entry tickets are reasonably priced, and parking is available near the base. A tip: Visit in the late afternoon to enjoy the sunset views. Overall, Monsoon Palace is a must-visit attraction in Udaipur for its serene atmosphere, stunning vistas, and a glimpse into royal history. A perfect spot for photographers, couples, family and anyone who loves nature and scenic views!

"Monsoon Palace (Sajjangarh Palace) in Udaipur is breathtaking! The stunning views of the city and lakes from the top are unforgettable. The palace architecture is impressive, and the sunset views are simply spectacular. Google Maps navigation was easy. A must-visit attraction in Udaipur. Highly recommend!"
Inderpreet S — Google review
Named after Maharana Sajjan Singh, the palace was completed in 1884. It was initially planned as an ambitious nine-story astronomical observatory to track monsoon clouds, reflecting the Maharana's keen interest in science. Perched atop Bansdara Hill, the white marble palace showcases a beautiful blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture. Its towering turrets, domed structures, and detailed craftsmanship create a majestic silhouette against the Aravalli skyline. The interior features a large central courtyard and marble pillars that are intricately carved with exquisite floral and leaf motifs. Although historically used as a monsoon retreat and hunting lodge, the focus remains on its structural grandeur rather than elaborate ornamentation. A key functional aspect of the palace is its ingenious rainwater harvesting system, designed to capture and store water underground. This sophisticated mechanism sustained the palace's needs during the dry season atop the hill. Panoramic Viewing Experience The palace’s strategic elevation offers perhaps the most spectacular panoramic views of Udaipur, including Lake Pichola, Fateh Sagar Lake, and the surrounding countryside. It is globally famous for its breathtaking sunsets, which bathe the white structure in a golden glow.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you so much, Piyush Paliwal ji, for giving me the opportunity to see your amazing car collection. All the cars are in truly outstanding condition and look absolutely stunning. Each beauty in the collection is very well maintained and a pleasure to see!

Not worth. The collection of cars is good but the display is very poor. All the cars are kept in rooms and you can just see them from the front. what's the point of visiting if you can't even look at displayed cars properly. Would not recommend wasting the money and time to visit. Avoid!.

An amazing collection of Vintage Cars worth visiting. This is free for people staying in Fateh Villas and Fateh Garh. A collection of more than 20+ vintage cars and 5+ vintage bikes. We got a free guided tour during our visit and the staff is very friendly.

The collection is located at: Fateh Vilas, by Fateh Collection, Sisarma Road, near Hotel Fateh Garh, Bujra, Udaipur, Rajasthan 313001, India. It is part of the larger “Fateh Collection” set of experiences and accommodations. Opening hours: According to one source, 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM (varies) for the museum. Entry fee: Approx. ₹250 + 18% tax as listed for the museum in the experience list. Direct booking of the hotel (Fateh Vilas) may include complimentary museum access. --- 👍 What works well Nice collection of vintage cars: Reviewers mention there are more than 20 vintage cars (and some bikes) in the collection. Well-maintained vehicles: Many visitors say the cars are in good condition, the space is clean and the staff can offer background or stories about them. For example: > “The cars are beautifully preserved, each telling a story of royal legacy.” Good for car enthusiasts / history buffs: If you enjoy vintage automobiles, seeing vehicles from a bygone era (royal garages) is a unique experience.

The car collection belongs to Fateh palace and it is a part of the property. Though they have nice vintage collection of both cars and bike, the space is limited and the price doesn't match the experience one gets. The way to the property is green and outside the city hustle but not worth for the efforts.

The Collection was pretty good. Many old school car brand models were present at the museum. The ticket fare could have been lower as 400₹ per person is a bit on the higher side considering there is only 15 mins worth of things you can take a look at. But if you're a car enthusiasts like me you're going to love this space and the collection.

The Hatkeshwar Temple adds to the spiritual heritage of the area.

Ancient temple of Bhagvan Mahadev. Hatkeshwar Temple is a remarkable 17th‑century Shiva shrine, famed for its ornate carvings, healing atmosphere, and spiritual heritage tied to the Nagar Brahmin community. Combined with other historical sites around Vadnagar, it’s a rewarding destination for both devotees and heritage enthusiasts.

Tirupati Rushivan Adventure Park

Amusement park
Water & Amusement Parks
Amusement park with family-oriented rides, water slides & replicas of landmarks like the Taj Mahal.
Tirupati Rushivan, is a delightful destination for families and nature lovers. Known as one of the largest theme parks in Gujarat, it offers a unique blend of entertainment, adventure, and cultural experiences. The park is surrounded by lush greenery, making it a peaceful retreat from urban life. Tirupati Rushivan has a variety of attractions, including thrilling rides for kids and adults alike. The water park section is a favorite among visitors, especially during the summer. The park features replicas of famous monuments and structures from around the world, such as the Eiffel Tower and Taj Mahal. These provide a mix of fun and learning, especially for children. For those seeking adventure, there are options like ziplining, boating, and rope activities. These add a dash of excitement to the visit. Affordable entry tickets and activities. Suitable for all age groups. Clean and green environment. Ample parking space. Can get crowded on weekends and holidays. Tirupati Rushivan is a great choice for a day trip with family or friends. It combines fun, learning, and adventure, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re looking to relax in nature, enjoy thrilling rides, or explore cultural replicas, this theme park delivers a memorable experience. Some areas might require better maintenance. Would recommend visiting during weekdays for a more peaceful experience! One more suggestion, keep sufficient cash. They don’t accept online payment inside the park for activities. They just denied.

Tirupati Rushivan was, in one word, a ‘fine’ experience. It is definitely a good pick for children, offering a variety of activities to keep them entertained. However, the afternoon heat makes it quite difficult for them to play comfortably, as the scorching sun can be overwhelming. The rides, unfortunately, felt too basic for adults while at the same time appearing somewhat risky for children. A more balanced selection of attractions would greatly improve the experience, catering to both age groups in a safer and more engaging manner. One of the highlights, however, was the beautiful display of bougainvillaea. The vibrant, colourful flowers added a charming touch to the surroundings, making for a delightful visual treat. On the downside, the washroom facilities were absolutely dreadful. This is an area that certainly needs urgent improvement to enhance visitors' overall comfort.

Had an amazing time here! The place is packed with thrilling activities and fun for all ages. The adventure park had various activities (Go Karting, Dash Car, Mary Go Round, Roller Coaster, Frizbee, Garden Area etc which is perfect for anyone looking for a bit of adrenaline. The staff were friendly and made sure we felt safe and confident during every activity. The water park was just as fantastic. Donot expect it to be as big as other dedicated Water parks but a descent amount of rides that made it easy to spend the whole day here. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and there were plenty of shaded areas to relax when we needed a break. Food options were good — lots of variety and pretty reasonably priced for a park. The Food service was kind of less good but the food was actually good. Overall, an unforgettable experience. Will suggest visiting once ! Just keep in mind that this place is CASH ONLY. (They have option of online payment but only upto 50% of the cost)

Zanzari Waterfall

Nature & Parks
Waterfalls
A series of cascades on a wide, rocky riverbed, with pools for swimming, accessed via a short hike.
Had an amazing one-day picnic with friends at Zanjari Waterfall! 🌿💦 The place is absolutely beautiful, especially during the monsoon season — truly a must-visit. The waterfall looks stunning, but do stay away from getting too close to the water during monsoon as the flow is very strong and can be risky. We enjoyed some hot Maggi near the waterfall which made the experience even better. There were also camel rides nearby, which added a fun touch to the trip. You can also visit the Utkanteshwar Mahadev Temple, which is close by and worth seeing. One small tip: carry your own snacks and drinking water, as there are no major restaurants on the way to the waterfall. Overall, it was a wonderful day out in nature, and I’d highly recommend this spot for a short getaway with family or friends. 🌧️🌲
Yashraj J — Google review
This location is undoubtedly good spot to explore during the monsoon season. The natural beauty is breathtaking, with lush greenery enveloping the entire area, offering a refreshing escape from city life. Do carry an ample supply of drinking water and food, as there are no shops or refreshment stalls available in the vicinity. The area is largely untouched and remote, which adds to its charm but also calls for basic preparation. Be prepared for a moderate trek of approximately 3-4 kilometers. The walk through nature is truly rejuvenating, though certain sections of the path can become quite slippery due to rain, so proper footwear is strongly recommended. A camel ride is available near the entry point and adds a unique, enjoyable element to the visit especially for families or those looking for something different.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4/5) Visited Zanzari Waterfall during the rainy season and it was a beautiful experience 🌿💦 The walk to reach the waterfall is quite long, but if you don’t want to walk much, you can also take a camel ride – I paid ₹400 for 2 people. The place feels very refreshing and peaceful once you reach the falls. 👉 Best time to visit: Rainy season 👉 Things to keep in mind: Be ready for a bit of walking, carry water, and wear comfortable shoes.
Hiral P — Google review
Such beautiful view and this place is for those people who likes to track because you have to travel by walk approximately 2/2.5 km from vehicle parking and as per name waterfall was not so much big but i think this was a peaceful location to enjoy. Though ,the waterfall was very little, the view was amazing must visit place 💗
Nikunj T — Google review
Good place for weekend refreshment. Waterfall and dam is nearby. Can visited with 4wheel and 2wheel as well. From parking spot to waterfall need to walk atleast 2-3 km. In dry season or low rainfall, easily can walk towards waterfall. As it is a river only during monsoon or heavy rain, could be hard to reach waterfall due to water
Bhargav S — Google review
"A beautiful and peaceful spot for nature lovers. Zanzari Waterfall offers scenic views, flowing water, and a calm vibe. Great place for a short trip or weekend getaway. Roads are decent, but best to visit in early morning or during monsoon for the best experience."
Akash V — Google review
A peaceful and scenic spot near Ahmedabad, perfect for a one-day getaway with friends or family. Best visited in monsoon or winter, but be cautious of slippery rocks and strong currents.
JIS H — Google review
A very peaceful and enjoyable place for one day trip, can spend the whole day in the nature then go there, just don’t go very near to the waterfall as there have been many accidents in the past where people have lost their lives. But if you stay safely then its a very good place to be at. Loved the vibe also you can get Maggie there as well. Village people will be there selling Maggie and tea. Avoid taking the camle ride coz it’s not that far from the parking lot.

Bliss Aqua World Resort

Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
Colorful water-based theme park with twisting slides, a lazy river & a splash pool for young kids.
Had an absolutely amazing time at Bliss Water Park! The rides were thrilling, the atmosphere was lively, and it was a perfect day out with friends and family. Everything was well-maintained, safe, and super fun. Great experience overall — highly recommend for anyone looking for a day full of excitement and memories!
Pratik R — Google review
I recently visited Bliss Water Park in Mehsana, and it was a day filled with both excitement and disappointment. The park itself is well-maintained and offers a good variety of rides. The wave pool is one of the major highlights — it’s clean, spacious, and gives you the real thrill of ocean waves. Another attraction that stood out was the Crazy River ride, which was total fun and perfect for families and friends looking for an exciting splash. However, my experience was ruined by the food. I had a meal from one of their food stalls, and it was a big letdown. The quality and hygiene seemed questionable. Unfortunately, just a few hours after eating, I started feeling uneasy and later suffered from food poisoning, which spoiled the rest of my trip and the following day as well. While the rides and water attractions are top-notch and worth the visit, the management seriously needs to improve the food quality and hygiene standards. I would recommend bringing your own food if possible or eating outside the park. Overall, Bliss Water Park is great for fun and adventure but fails when it comes to food safety.
Akash C — Google review
The park can easily house 2500 to 3000 people. We went there on a day which was a public holiday, but since there was long weekend, the number of people rhat arrived was less. It is a good water park with around 9-10 rides. Crazy river was one of the best rides. They have a separate children's area. Parking is free. We went there when there was an offer and got food inclusive at 900/-. 200/- was locker charge. 30/- was the charge of 1 photo(soft copy). It has around 9 to 10 big rides. You can easily do all of them without the express ticket. They allow it regular people and one express person. 8:1 ratio. So no real use of express ticket. Also in express ticket only a few Tower rides and crazy river is covered. Children will love the experience.
Pratik P — Google review
Had a fantastic time at the water park! The ticket price was totally worth it, especially with lunch included — the food was delicious, fresh, and way better than expected. What truly impressed me was their focus on safety and comfort. The security guards were actively monitoring the gents-only area, ensuring that families could enjoy the pool without any discomfort. There was a well-managed separation between the family zone and the gents’ section, all within the same pool, which made it comfortable and enjoyable for everyone. Highly recommend this place for a fun, safe, and well-organized day out with family! 🌊🍽️👍
Hiten S — Google review
Nice water activities but there are no lift to climb the high towers that makes you tired soon. Overall great water park in terms of safety, security and enjoyment. Too much rush on weekends so it’s better if u can visit on weekdays. Including food is also of good quality and great taste. We were unable to do all the rides due to rush and towers without lift to climb and timings of river is also very tough to catch, so if you wish to go through the river you need to plan accordingly and wait for some time.
Pawan K — Google review
Better experience than other waterpark, specially food is too good and free cool drinking water arrangements everywhere in water park. Best place to get best experience for rides and swimming. Credit goes to good management. Everything is best, one business idea is there of photography in wave pool. Few photographer take photos in camera and ask to take photos from studio which charged INR 30 per photos and it's mandatory to take all photos which is drawback with loosing one star, there should be option to choose photos from taken photos and pay for only choosen photos, everything else is best. 👌🏻
Artlesh — Google review
Bliss Aqua Waterpark is a great stop if you're heading towards Ahmedabad from Jodhpur it’s located around 10 km before Mehsana city, right off the highway. Just note that it’s on the opposite side, so you’ll need to take a U-turn about 200 meters ahead. The park has free parking, but the parking area is a bit far (around 200 meters from the entrance), so it’s better to drop your family at the gate first and then park the car. Entry opens at 10 AM. Tickets are available right at the main gate ₹899 for adults and ₹600 for kids below 4 feet. The best part? All tickets include coupons for a free unlimited lunch buffet. The food was decent we had puri, chana masala, rice, dal, and aamras. Just a heads-up, the dal is quite sweet (classic Gujarat style), but everything was fresh and filling. Now coming to the main attraction the rides. There are tons of options for both kids and adults. Many of the adult slides are designed for 2 people, a few for 3–4 people, and some are for solo riders. I’d definitely recommend visiting in a group of at least 2 to make the most of the multi-person slides. The slides are thrilling and on par with what you'd expect in big parks like Imagica. The wave pool is also quite good and adds to the fun.

Amarnath Dham Mandir

Hindu temple
Sights & Landmarks
Sacred & Religious Sites
Amarnath Dham Mandir, also known as mini Amarnath, is a newly developed pilgrimage spot located near the Sabarmati River on the Gandhinagar Mahudi Road. It's situated in the amrapur village near Swapna Shrushti Waterpark, about 24km away from Gandhinagar.
Mini Amarnath Dham, located approximately 24 kilometers from Gandhinagar near Amarapur village, is a thoughtfully crafted replica of the sacred Amarnath Temple in Jammu and Kashmir. The temple features a man-made cave housing a large ice Shivling, reminiscent of the natural ice formation in the original Amarnath cave. Surrounding the main Shivling are representations of the 12 Jyotirlingas, offering devotees a comprehensive spiritual experience. The serene environment, enhanced by natural surroundings and the nearby Sabarmati River, provides a tranquil setting for worship and reflection. Beyond its spiritual offerings, Mini Amarnath Dham serves as a family-friendly destination. The temple complex includes a playground and rides for children, making it suitable for a one-day picnic. Visitors can bring their own food or purchase refreshments on-site. Additionally, the proximity to Swapna Srushti Water Park offers an opportunity to combine spiritual and recreational activities in a single visit. The temple is open daily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. It is especially popular during the month of Shravan, Maha Shivratri, and on Mondays, which are considered auspicious days for Lord Shiva devotees. The temple’s location on the Gandhinagar-Mahudi Road makes it easily accessible by car or public transport. Mini Amarnath Dham offers a unique blend of spiritual ambiance and family-friendly facilities, making it a worthwhile destination for both devotees and tourists seeking a peaceful retreat near Gandhinagar.

Very peaceful & with a good environment. Huge area to roam and kids friendly. This location comes through a route of a water park and has enough Greenery with naturality. This place has a huge parking space& They run only one vehicle so that's why it took everyone to wait for a long time for pickup & drop especially for elderly people. They took 30 per head for pickup & drop both. We and the family enjoyed it a lot.

Amarnath Dham, near Ahmedabad, in Gandhinagar, is a temple complex that houses representations of all 12 Jyotirlingas, a significant feature for Hindu devotees, and is located on Gandhinagar-Mahudi highway, about 40 km from Ahmedabad. The temple complex is notable for featuring representations of all 12 Jyotirlingas, which are revered as manifestations of Lord Shiva in Hindu mythology. The temple is a regular temple complex where you can visit and see the 12 Jyotirlingas in a series of caves one after another. One can spend time in devotion and feel nature. A cafeteria also there to have some snacks , tea and soft drinks.

Amarnath Dham located just a few hundred meters of hiking from the parking of Swapnasrushti waterpark. There are approx 250 steps to go upstairs to reach to the temple. The temple is dedicated and replicated with the temple of lord shiva in Amarnath J&K. There is a cave like artificial structure in which the replica of all 12 Jyotirlinga is placed. The temple is having very calm and natural vibes in the surrounding area. Swapnasrushti adventure park is located just at the exit of the cave. There is a cab service if someone does not want to hike. It is free of cost for physically disabled people. Overall, you can spend a good quality time with your kids and family over here.

I recently spent a wonderful day and night at Aalloa Resort, and it was a truly refreshing experience. The staff were cooperative, friendly, and very attentive, making our stay comfortable and pleasant. The rooms were neat, clean, and well-maintained, and the amenities provided were quite good. The food was fresh, tasty, and of good quality — we really enjoyed every meal. The resort offers some unique experiences like camel rides and cycling, which added to the fun. The location is beautifully set with a view of the Sabarmati River, surrounded by nature, birds, and peaceful scenery — an ideal spot to relax your mind away from the rush of city life. Suggestions for improvement: The mattresses could be softer for better comfort. The swimming pool can be made larger and perhaps include a music system to enhance the ambience. The road from the highway to the resort could be widened for smoother access. The home theatre wasn’t working, so it would be great if that could be fixed, please ensure that all services are available during the full season time. Overall, it’s a beautiful place worth visiting for anyone looking to spend quality time in peace and natural surroundings. I will definitely recommend this resort who needs relax and peace.I’d love to visit again! 🌿✨

A very good temple at Mehsana's one of the main road, which is known as Modhera Road. Temple is very road touch. So it hasn't grand parking. Usually, there is no problem to parking but on some of the special occasion that's become issue. Great facade looks beautiful with best landscaping. Temple's carving is superb, temple's height gives very different height to god. All basic facilities are provided by authority. As well as Design is also cover primay need of building. Cleanliness is so good .. amazing place .. Seating at garden and seating at bench gives different experience.

Amazing architectural design as good as other big Swaminarayan mandirs. Peaceful environment inside the complex against the crowded and noisy outside. Calm, pure and divine! The Mandir complex as well as the main Mandir is sparkling clean and very well maintained. Marvelous sculptures and great carving on the stone and wooden doors and panels. Very convenient location for the residents of Mehsana as well as visitors like me. You will feel positive energy during aarti. Murtis of Swaminarayan Bhagavan and his descendants inside Mandir are beautiful and blissful. I was not sure whether photography was allowed or not but many people were taking pictures, so I also couldn’t resist myself. There were no signs regarding photography.
