Honestly, I'm not into religion stuff but i kinda liked this temple. The experience to get there by car was so great because you can feel to really greens on the side of the rode. The temple situated between jungle and mountain.When you get there you can see the monkeys from the start,they are really friendly with everyone but you just need to feed them 🤣.

The best place to peacefully worship for Jains. It is not a picnic spot, no photos or videos allowed around the temple. Jains must have this temple on their bucket list. The receptionist wasn’t polite.

Tirupati Rushivan was, in one word, a ‘fine’ experience. It is definitely a good pick for children, offering a variety of activities to keep them entertained. However, the afternoon heat makes it quite difficult for them to play comfortably, as the scorching sun can be overwhelming. The rides, unfortunately, felt too basic for adults while at the same time appearing somewhat risky for children. A more balanced selection of attractions would greatly improve the experience, catering to both age groups in a safer and more engaging manner. One of the highlights, however, was the beautiful display of bougainvillaea. The vibrant, colourful flowers added a charming touch to the surroundings, making for a delightful visual treat. On the downside, the washroom facilities were absolutely dreadful. This is an area that certainly needs urgent improvement to enhance visitors' overall comfort.

Had an amazing time here! The place is packed with thrilling activities and fun for all ages. The adventure park had various activities (Go Karting, Dash Car, Mary Go Round, Roller Coaster, Frizbee, Garden Area etc which is perfect for anyone looking for a bit of adrenaline. The staff were friendly and made sure we felt safe and confident during every activity. The water park was just as fantastic. Donot expect it to be as big as other dedicated Water parks but a descent amount of rides that made it easy to spend the whole day here. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and there were plenty of shaded areas to relax when we needed a break. Food options were good — lots of variety and pretty reasonably priced for a park. The Food service was kind of less good but the food was actually good. Overall, an unforgettable experience. Will suggest visiting once ! Just keep in mind that this place is CASH ONLY. (They have option of online payment but only upto 50% of the cost)

The walk through nature is truly rejuvenating, though certain sections of the path can become quite slippery due to rain, so proper footwear is strongly recommended. The place feels very refreshing and peaceful once you reach the falls. 👉 Best time to visit: Rainy season 👉 Things to keep in mind: Be ready for a bit of walking, carry water, and wear comfortable shoes.

A very peaceful and enjoyable place for one day trip, can spend the whole day in the nature then go there, just don’t go very near to the waterfall as there have been many accidents in the past where people have lost their lives. But if you stay safely then its a very good place to be at. Loved the vibe also you can get Maggie there as well. Village people will be there selling Maggie and tea. Avoid taking the camle ride coz it’s not that far from the parking lot.

This place has a huge parking space& They run only one vehicle so that's why it took everyone to wait for a long time for pickup & drop especially for elderly people. Amarnath Dham located just a few hundred meters of hiking from the parking of Swapnasrushti waterpark. There are approx 250 steps to go upstairs to reach to the temple. The temple is dedicated and replicated with the temple of lord shiva in Amarnath J&K. There is a cave like artificial structure in which the replica of all 12 Jyotirlinga is placed. The temple is having very calm and natural vibes in the surrounding area. Swapnasrushti adventure park is located just at the exit of the cave. There is a cab service if someone does not want to hike. It is free of cost for physically disabled people. Overall, you can spend a good quality time with your kids and family over here.

Suggestions for improvement: The mattresses could be softer for better comfort. The swimming pool can be made larger and perhaps include a music system to enhance the ambience. The road from the highway to the resort could be widened for smoother access. The home theatre wasn’t working, so it would be great if that could be fixed, please ensure that all services are available during the full season time. Dandi Kutir in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, is a museum dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi and the Salt Satyagraha. The exhibits were informative, with interactive displays and life-size dioramas, but some areas seemed neglected, and the displays could be more engaging. The 51-foot-tall Gandhi statue and surrounding bronze statues are impressive, though. The museum's architecture, designed to resemble a village, is also noteworthy. Overall, it's worth visiting if you're in Gandhinagar, but don't expect a thoroughly curated experience. The grounds are nice, with a peaceful atmosphere, but some facilities could be better maintained.

Excellent place where life of Mahatma Gandhi is shown with Rs 10 only where 3D picturazition done, I was interested knowing all the facts of Gandhi Ji, which were not shown. But place is excellent, clean, spacious...

The concept of the Dandi Kutir Museum is impressive, but the overall experience was disappointing. The ticket price felt too high for what was offered, and many interactive displays were not functioning properly. The staff seemed uninterested in guiding visitors, and the waiting time was longer than expected. The museum has potential, but it really needs better maintenance and visitor management to make the visit worthwhile.

Very well maintained and full of information about Gandhiji. They have locker room for bags, mobile are allowed. They have 2 hour long audio-visual tour which is very interesting and inspiring. Souvenir and snacks store inside. Parking nearby. Very clean place. Visit with 3-4 hours in hand along with family. Jai hind.

The wait time was 1hr. And 1hr of waiting is for what you know the experience of total irritation. The audio was on Hindi. I do not know Hindi. Without knowing the language I listened it for 1hr which was totally irritating. At last my whole day got disappointed becayof this bad experience. The structure was awesome though.

One of the biggest personal collections of vintage cars, bikes, buggies and utility vehicles, Auto World is a delight for those who love wheels. Amongst the 300 plus menu of mechanical extravaganza, some noted ones stand out; the car that was used in the movie Gandhi and the first May Bach ever made. Visitors can also find rare and wonderful assemblage of vehicles including a Bentley, Lagonda, Rolls Royce, Cadillac, Austin, Jaguar, Mercedes and Auburns. The 1923 Rolls 20 HP with a typical shooting brake-body by Barker is one of the most fascinating cars from the Rolls Royce cache. The museum has also found a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for this amazing collection. Brief History: Pranlal Bhogilal started the Auto World Museum in his private estate of 2200 acres, Dastan, in 1927, and earned the Guinness Book of World Record listing in 1987 as the owner of the world's largest private garage. An enthusiast for many years, Bhogilal collected over 204 cars of which 105 are in Ahmedabad. He ensured that all cars were in running condition. Pranlal Bhogilal passed away in 2011 at the age of 73. It is said that in 2006, Ulrich Schmid-Maybach of the illustrious Maybach family flew down to Ahmedabad from Germany to convince Pranlal Bhogilal to sell him a 6-cylinder Maybach that was designed by his grandfather. They have huge collection of many cars including but not limited to BMW, Rolls royce, Bentley, Mercedes benz, Chevrolet and many more. The property is huge and maintained very well. They have added the information plate in front of each car with make-model, year and country. You will get the details of princely states who were using these cars as well. Worth to explore once.

There is a wide range of vintage cars, all shown in one place. Over 100 cars. However the condition of vehicles could be improved as cars had paintwork issues or metal trim with rust spots. The staff were also unhelpful (not rude, but not welcoming) and you also need to pay for a special ticket to be allowed ti take photos. There is a member of staff following you around to ensure that only the people who have paid to take photos use a single device. Overall, worth a visit, especially considering the low entry cost.

I visited this museum last month with my college alumni, and it was a memorable experience! The museum has an incredible collection of cars dating back to the late 1800s and early 1900s. From bullock-cart type cars to classic beauties from prestigious global brands, every vehicle is displayed with proper details like the year, maker, and country. They also have iconic Indian cars such as the original Tata Nano and Maruti 800, along with a few vintage motorcycles. As an automobile enthusiast, I absolutely loved walking through the history and evolution of four-wheelers. It was fascinating to see how massive and beautifully designed old cars were compared to today’s compact models. The craftsmanship and design truly reflect the art and engineering of their time. Tickets are required both for entry and for using your mobile camera. Initially, I felt the pricing was slightly on the higher side, but after seeing the rare collection and the way they’ve maintained these vehicles, it felt worth it. Do note that only one phone is allowed per photo ticket, security guards are present at every corner, and video recording is not allowed. 👉 Best time to visit is around lunchtime, as there is a Vintage Theam Restaurant inside the premises where you can enjoy a nice meal. That way you can easily spend an entire afternoon exploring cars and relaxing over food. Overall, it was a crazy and satisfying experience. A must-visit for families, friends, and especially petrolheads who will appreciate every detail. Highly recommended!

The carvings on the pillars and the walls. It can't be described. There is specific boards which explains the history of the monument. It will help the visitors to know and see the monument. The surroundings of the monument was little bit mess. There is cow dung every where ehich makes the visitors uncomfortable. To book the tickets its good to go through online.

A very fine example of craftsmanship in stone and the art of building Step wells. Structure is well preserved and offers a glimpse of architectural mastery of the age. It is a five storied structure with intricate carvings adoring the walls and ceilings. At the ground level structure is protected by a thick boundary wall and there are steps in multiple directions to get into the well.

The Adalaj Stepwell (Rudabai Stepwell) is a magnificent five-story architectural marvel built in 1499, which holds the poignant history of Queen Rudabai who ensured its completion after her husband's death before tragically ending her own life. The well's intricate carvings, including detailed ornamentation and mythological scenes across its galleries, showcase exquisite craftsmanship and create a truly atmospheric subterranean space. Sri Sidhi Vinayaka Devasthala is a unique and beautiful temple, known for holding the record of being the biggest Ganesha-shaped temple. The architecture and premises are really impressive and well maintained. I visited during Ganesha Chaturthi, so it was quite crowded and took around 30 minutes in line. The temple is properly managed and clean, with a food court and even a small game zone for kids, which makes it family-friendly. Overall, a very nice spiritual and cultural spot to visit in Ahmedabad.

The temple premises are clean, well-organized, and perfect for spending some quiet, prayerful time with family. If you’re in Mehmdavad, this temple is definitely a must-visit for blessings and peace of mind. 🙏✨

Shri Siddhi Vinayak Devasthan which is located in Mehmadabad. It is very beautiful and stands out in terms of design because the shape of the temple is made like the shape of Ganpati Bappa's face. This temple is two-storeyed, in which the temple of Ganpati Bappa is on the second floor, the temple of Mahadev on the first floor and the shopping area on the ground floor. This temple is open from 6 am to 10 pm. There is also a food court where you can eat whatever you want, in which South Indian, Punjabi, Chinese and Gujarati and fast food are available. But there is nothing good to eat here. There is also a very large space for parking outside. Many people also do their own vows here. In which you have to bring your own wheat and make it upside down near the temple and after the vow is completed, you have to come back to the temple and make a straight vow from the wheat.

Walking around the ashram gives a sense of history and inspiration at the same time. The view of the Sabarmati River adds to the serenity of the place. It is not just a tourist spot, but a place that reminds us of Gandhiji’s values and way of life. Definitely worth visiting.

Nestled on the banks of the Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad (with a wide access now created from the Sabarmati Riverfront project), the Sabarmati Ashram stands as a pillar of India’s freedom movement and the personal abode of Mahatma Gandhi from 1917 to 1930. Founded by Gandhi, the ashram served not only as his residence but as the nerve-centre of the Non-Violent Civil Disobedience Campaigns, including the 1930 Salt March. The simple, humble buildings and open spaces reflect Gandhi’s ideals of truth, simplicity, self-reliance and community life. A standout architectural element of the ashram is its museum complex – the Gandhi Smarak Sangrahalaya – designed by legendary architect Charles Correa and completed in 1963. Correa imbued the museum with a vernacular modernism: modular 6 m × 6 m units arranged around courtyards and water-bodies, brick piers, stone floors, tiled roofs and wooden louvre screens all deliberate to reflect ‘swadeshi’ materials and climatic responsiveness. The museum architecture draws inspiration from the layout of village houses in Gujarat’s Banni region and is designed for incremental growth, symbolic of a ‘living institution’. In recent years, the ashram has entered a major new phase: the central and Gujarat governments have rolled out a masterplan for a ₹1,200 crore redevelopment project that will expand the ashram precinct from the current 5 acres to around 55 acres, encompassing 36 existing buildings for conservation, restoration or redevelopment. The plan includes new visitor-orientated amenities such as an orientation centre, interactive workshops on charkha spinning, handmade paper, cotton weaving, a library and archives, and multilingual interpretive exhibits. Together, the ashram’s historic legacy, Correa’s architecture and the sweeping redevelopment project combine to make Sabarmati Ashram not just a preserved heritage site but an evolving memorial that aims to communicate Gandhi’s values to future generations in a holistic, immersive way.

This is my second visit after fifteen years. During my first visit I spent about three hours at the place going through each and every display. On the River front things were not so well organised. Now the place looks aged and lacks maintenance. The river front is now totally revamped and looks very inviting. Construction work for the new museum has started and may be, after couple of years it will again be a place to visit.

Absolutely loved it. The lake is very beautiful and amazing. It has few entry points but not all of them have parking option available. There are so many activities to do in the lake. Lots of food options. Lots of amazing activities. The train is very amazing, it gives you a one round about tour of a lake. In addition with that, it has flower garden, fishes to see and joy to experience.

An excellent place to visit. Lot of activities are available here around the lake. Lake is beautified nicely. Minimum two days are required to explore and enjoy this place. Recommend to visit once.

Nice place to hang out with kids. There is a toy train ride which is a nice experience for kids. Multiple food restaurants and snacks sellers are there. We also visited 2 zoos in the same area. Recommend 5-6 hours time if you want to cover everything.

Kankariya lake is a beautiful Park for children. Here lots of people come. Lots of swings and sliders for kids. A toy train which is an attraction for visitors. 10 ₹for adults and 5₹ for kids

This is a very good place. The people come there to eat. The scenery there is very nice. I like it there a lot. There is a ride here. I also play with the children. There is an old tarin here. I sit in it and go around the whole Kakaria. This is a good one.

Excellent food

I visited Manek Chowk in Ahmedabad during a corporate trip. It’s near Jama Masjid and Delhi Gate and famous as a late-night food market open until 1 or 2 a.m. We went there because most of Ahmedabad closes by 8–9 p.m., unlike Delhi which stays lively late. Honestly, the experience was underwhelming. The area is crowded, but there are only 8–10 food carts, mostly selling the same items like bhaji pav, pulao, kaju pulao, small pizzas, and some South Indian snacks. Everything is served on plastic chairs and tables in open air, and hygiene seemed low. The only highlight for us was the jamun fruit shots they were really fresh and tasty. Overall, if you want a full dining experience, I wouldn’t recommend it. But if you just want to experience the local late-night food vibe in Ahmedabad, it’s worth a quick visit.

It is an amazing place for food lovers. We gujarati always foodie in nature. I loved pavbhaji eating there. So much vibrant place. I go in the rainy season so it will give old vibes of amdavad .

Rating: 1/5(As can't give zero stars) Tried Mysore Masala Dosa, Manchurian Noodles, and Cold Coco — would rate them 1/5, 1/5, and 3/5 respectively. The dosa was a disaster — dripping with oil, almost fried. Someone, a decade ago, probably decided to fuse sweet curd/lassi with masala dosa, and people just went along. It’s honestly the murder of authentic South Indian food. Sambhar was just average. The noodles tasted like ₹10 roadside fare — overly salty, with small-length noodles. The Manchurian was extremely dry, halved pieces resembling soy chunks. Every food outlet seemed to serve the same mediocre stuff, just under different names. And the crowd — chaotic, overcrowded, barely space to stand.Even Fish Market is less noisy then this place. Prices are also overhyped and unjustified for the quality offered. For a tourist, I’d strongly recommend skipping this so-called “iconic” Manek Chowk. Ahmedabad has better and cleaner places to enjoy local flavours.

Ladies are not allowed inside the mosque. Mosque is quiet small and compact, but highlights the beauty of the indo islamic architecture. Built in the year 1572-73 by an Abyssinian (person from Ethiopia) called Sidi Saiyyed, who served under the then sultan. This mosque is well known for the wonderful intricate carvings in stone and their unique semi circular tracery windows, depicting the tree of life. Paper cutouts were made of the carved screens from which two wooden replicas were made and these are now in museum in London and New york. The driver was telling us that this mosque is still in use as the emblem of the Ahmedabad municipality. The grave of sidi saiyyed is inside this mosque. The mosque is in a congested area, hence parking is out of the question. Definitely worth a visit to admire the wonderful jalli work in the windows.

Sidi Saeed Mosque, Ahmedabad Also known as Sidi Saiyyed Mosque. Located opposite of Electricity House, Bharda Road, Old City Ahmedabad Built by Sidi Saeed, an Ethiopian in 1572. He was known for his helping nature to the poor people. His grave is also situated within the mosque complex. This mosque is famous for its beautifully carved stone screens (Jalis). These jalis are now treated as symbols of Ahmedabad city. During the British rule, this mosque was being used for official purposes. **

Nice historical place to visit to learn about the history. A Sumi mosque, known as Sidi Sayed ni Jali the mosque was built in the period 1572–73 AD by Sidi Sayed. It was the same year that the Mughals conquered Gujarat. famed for its exquisite jali windows, spider web fine, depicting the intricate intertwining branches of the ‘tree of life’ that is best seen from the road that runs along the back of the mosque. Do visit if you are in Ahmedabad.

I went to Sabarmati Riverfront early in the morning during my exam days, and it turned out to be a very relaxing experience. The place is calm, the sound of the river waves is very soothing, and the cool morning breeze makes it even better. Ahmedabad can be quite hot, so visiting this place in the morning felt really peaceful. There’s a metro station around 2 km away, so it’s also easy to reach. The main riverfront area is open 24/7, but if you want to visit the Atal Bridge or garden area, they open after 9 AM. There are trees all around, and you can even find bicycles nearby to ride, though they are a bit costly. Still, it’s a good experience, especially for visitors from outside the city. Overall, a great spot for a quiet walk or just to sit and relax in the fresh air.

The riverfront is very beautiful and it is very peaceful during non-peak hours. I visited during early morning hours and I saw people cycling and jogging on the promenade. The river was very calm and greenery was lush. The infrastructure developed by the government there is very well maintained. The walking space is huge and very picturesque. The long riverfront offers ample space to exercise, cycle, run and walk. The place is also clean and not littered by plastic. I also saw a river cleaning boat gathering trash that was thrown in river during early hours.

Every year Kite festival is organized at this place during 14-January week. It's runs for 4 days approximately. During day there are people from different countries participating their kite flying skill. During evening there is cultural programs. Parking is not available at this event place. Laden is 2-3km far near the flower park. Is wish a visit. There's food court, wash rooms and drinking water facility.

The place is very beautiful with a proper cleanliness maintained throughout. Here their was few public entertainment thing here like the bicycle ride and other things. The river is also very neat and clean. The police persons also take rounds continuously through the river front for security. 0

Every weekend, a Geeta Shlok session is conducted from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. At times, the temple trust organizes a complete Bhagavad Geeta learning program, which is highly recommended. Behind the temple, there is a beautiful garden, perfect for relaxation and quiet reflection.

As in all ISKCON temples in metropolitan cities, this one too has the air of grandeur to it. However, it is much more devotee-friendly than most other ISKCONs I've visited. It's located quite far from Ahmedabad City centre, but easily accessible. I guess it will be easier to reach, once all the Metro lines start functioning.

Very nice temple, when you enter you find good energy in the hall area. The temple is very clean inside as well as the outside area. The atmosphere is very pleasant. One should visit with family. The temple ceiling and walls tells you the story of lord Krishna with all important events in his life. The prasad is also tasty. Even my office is behind the temple. The temple is the landmark for many travellers and is located facing SG highway. You must visit on normal days when aarti or bhajans are in progress. If you are religious you would definitely love this place even after completing darshan you can sir in the premise and experience peace.

It is good place to visit if you love bird watching. Place is good but not maintained. There is no water in the toilet. Place is not as clean as it should be. We find no responsible person there.

Not many birds can be seen as water level is high. Interpretation centre is good with watch tower and garden area.

The museum nearby showcases pottery, seals, and artifacts that give you a real sense of life during that time. The place is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and perfect for a day trip from Ahmedabad. If you love history, archaeology, or just want to explore India’s ancient roots, Lothal is definitely worth visiting.

Not much in terms of excavation, but a lovely place teeming with birds! Though a huge museum is coming up nearby. Worth a visit only if passing through nearby.

The Harappa civilization site at Lothal is a very beautiful place. It exudes a sense of peace, and the cool breeze makes you wonder why the people of Lothal chose to live here—perhaps it was because of this serene environment and pleasant climate. Although the structures are very old, their condition is gradually deteriorating because visitors enter the ruins, causing damage. In its current open state, it seems like the Archaeological Survey of India is not actively preserving it. The cemetery appears almost lost, with no accessible path to reach it. Overall, the site is very enriching for history enthusiasts, while others may see it as just a casual visit. However, you can truly appreciate that the people of that era had knowledge of science and mathematics. The government should take action to protect and preserve this heritage site.

Visiting lothal on weekends specially on early morning drives is recommended. I have visited yhe site at post monsoon so the dockyard is full of water giving real vibe. The location shows there is a museum is permenent closed. If you have prior knowledge of this site then this visit could be the most interesting. Otherwise you real roam around and exit.

Best time to visit this place is during winters. You will be able to sit and experience the thousands of years of history here. A must visit for history enthusiast. Currently the archeological musuem is under construction. There is no information when it will open again, therefore you won't be able see the artifacts that have been found here. But the site is open and you can definitely visit it.

Visited Lothal with family and really enjoyed the experience. The place gives a simple but amazing glimpse into one of the world’s oldest civilizations. Seeing the ancient dockyard and town layout felt like stepping back in time. Display photos of interesting artifacts explains things nicely. The area is peaceful, clean, and easy to explore. Carry water and a cap because the sun likes to attend the tour too. Great spot for a short, educational family trip. Perfect for anyone curious about old Indian history in a calm setting.

This place is the best place for the kids in Surendranagar. There are lots of playing instruments where kids enjoys their rides and have a fun. For elders they can do walking and jogging. Sunday and Saturday rushes will be there. Timing 6pm to 10pm. Outside of park jumping place and riding kids car also attracts the kids. Four star is because of small spaces. In weekends it will be too crowded.

I have been visiting Salangpur Hanumanji Mandir for almost 25 years now and have witnessed its amazing transformation — from a small temple to a grand tirtha sthaan. One of the best temple adjacent to BAPS swaminarayan temple dedicated to God Hanuman. It has a neat and clean surrounding and a devine feeling. Ample parking is available near temple and also many food outlets. It is also known as Kashtbhanjan temple. It's near Botad in Saurashtra and a popular destination among devotees. It has several good guest houses surrounded by temple with a Gaushala.

One of the best place in Morbi to hangout. I would strongly suggest to visit this place when you are in the city. There is a safe and enough place for parking.

Enough parking space available for vehicles. Route is also scenic with windmills in hills and green trees in surroundings.
