Went recently to this beautiful temple on the shore filled with calmness around. A spl darshan ticket on a Monday evening 4pm took about 10 mins to see the Lord Muruga. Such a quick darshan which I never imagined. Golu display was awesome and almost 30+ stages of dolls to showcase the culture and divinity. The beach will make you to drench even if you dont wish for one. Such inviting it is. A morning sunrise is never to be missed on a Sea and this place stands noteworthy for the arena it brings up with sounds all over filled with Devotional vibes. Stroll around and you will start planning on when to come again next time. Thanks to all the people involved in maintaining this temple at this level.

Mathoor Aqueduct is truly an engineering marvel and a must-visit spot in Kanyakumari district. The tall structure built across the hills offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding green valleys and flowing rivers. Walking across the aqueduct feels exciting and a little adventurous as you get to enjoy the cool breeze and scenic beauty all around. The natural charm of coconut groves and villages below makes it even more picturesque. It is not only a sightseeing destination but also a place where you can admire the blend of nature and human creation. A peaceful and memorable experience for travelers.

I visited Thirparappu Waterfalls without much expectation, but it truly turned out to be a stunning experience. The waterfall is beautiful, and the best part is that you can actually go under it and enjoy the refreshing flow of water. There are separate sections for gents, ladies, and families, which adds to the comfort and safety of visitors. There's also a small but well-maintained children’s park nearby, making it a great spot for families with kids. The area is clean, well-managed, and has bathroom/washroom facilities available, which is definitely a plus. Overall, it’s a hidden gem worth visiting.

A very good place to visit with family. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, and it’s a super spot to spend some relaxing time. You’ll need to do a bit of walking, but it’s definitely worth it for the views and the experience.

I had the opportunity to visit the Nellaiappar Temple in Tirunelveli on 10th August, and it was truly a divine and memorable experience. The temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva (Nellaiappar) and Goddess Kanthimathi, stands as one of the grandest temples in South India with its magnificent gopurams and intricate stone carvings. The vast corridors, majestic pillars, and the musical stone columns reflect the architectural brilliance of the Pandya dynasty. The spiritual atmosphere inside the temple was deeply calming, and the darshan was very peaceful. Visiting this ancient temple not only gave me a sense of devotion but also admiration for our rich cultural heritage.

Small yet beautiful falls which is maintained decently. A view from the top is worth the time on spending to it.

I recently visited the Kasi Viswanathar Temple in Tenkasi. It is one of the largest temples I’ve ever seen in my life. Lord Shiva is the main deity, but there are numerous other deities worshipped within the temple complex. The temple has beautifully preserved its ancient design and aesthetics, which creates a peaceful and blissful atmosphere. It’s incredibly quiet inside, with only the calming sound of mantra chants filling the space. The temple is surrounded by massive compound walls, and its architecture is truly stunning—similar to many other ancient temples found across Tamil Nadu. We visited on a Sunday, and thankfully, it wasn’t too crowded. However, parking is limited and located at the side of the temple, which can make it difficult to find a spot during peak times.

What is more you can expect other than being divine while you visit the best holy place. Starting from the entrance to coming back to entrance you will be awe'd and wow'ed with the sculptures and stories. This is a marvellous. The Srivilliputhur Andal Temple, located in the Virudhunagar district of Tamil Nadu, is a revered Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Andal and Lord Vishnu (as Vatapatrasayi). It is one of the 108 Divya Desams, sacred shrines praised by the Alvar saints. Andal's deep love and devotion for Lord Vishnu are reflected in the temple’s rituals and traditions. Srivilliputhur Andal Temple remains a vital spiritual and cultural center, attracting thousands of devotees and pilgrims every year.

The temple is maintained exceptionally well, with clean surroundings and a beautifully organized atmosphere. The queue system is very decent and perfectly managed, ensuring everyone gets a comfortable and peaceful darshan. What impressed me most was how calm and orderly everything felt — no pushing or rush in the lines, allowing devotees to fully experience the divine presence of Goddess Meenakshi and Lord Sundareswarar. It was a deeply satisfying and serene visit. Highly recommend visiting this temple for anyone seeking a truly divine and peaceful darshan experience! 🙏

What a marvelous temple. We spent a couple of hours in and around the temple which was clean and well maintained. The day we visited was free from massive crowd and so had a peaceful devotional experience. The architecture was wonderful and the ancient sculptures were amazing. The lord himself was gigantic and mesmerizing! Must visit!

Pillar Rock is breathtakingly beautiful! The towering rock formations and stunning views are simply mesmerizing. The scenic spot offers ample photo opportunities, and the surrounding landscape is perfect for a leisurely stroll. A must-visit destination for nature lovers and photographers. If you want to enjoy the tranquility and serenity of this place, Do make a visit on early hours. Otherwise this spot become too crowded and unable to enjoy it. Highly recommended! ⚠️ Please note: The area remains closed during heavy rainfall due to slippery conditions in the forest, so plan your visit accordingly. 🌲 The trail begins with a few steps leading downward, followed by a scenic walk along a sloping hillside. The views of the lake and surrounding pine trees are absolutely stunning. 🐎 Horse riding is available and highly recommended—the hilly terrain makes the experience even more enjoyable. It costs ₹200 per person, and the staff will take photos and videos using your own phone.

One of my best spot in Kodaikanal, must try in sunset/ evening with mist. Each time I had different experience.. Highly recommend 👍👍👍

This lake is quite vast. Visitors with more energy can enjoy a pedal boat ride, while others can opt for a boat operated by an authorized person. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance. Around the lake, there is a scenic road where people can rent bicycles or enjoy a horse ride in the evening.

A beautiful temple. It may appear to be small but it's a big one and open type of temple. The line is quick and fast moving. You can literally see the god from any place you stand within the temple compound in front. They give vada as well after the darshan. Parking is there nearby at walkable distance in an open ground.

I recently visited Bharachukki Waterfall, and it was an amazing experience! Located in Shivanasamudra, around 130 km from Bengaluru, this spot is perfect for a short road trip. The journey was pleasant with greenery and small villages along the way, but the real reward was the view that awaited. The waterfall is massive and truly spectacular, with water gushing down the rocky cliffs into a wide pool below. The sound of the falling water combined with the cool breeze makes the whole atmosphere refreshing and peaceful. The place also offers nice viewpoints where you can sit, relax, and enjoy nature at its best. What I really loved about Bharachukki is how close you can get to the falls compared to Gaganachukki. It gives you the chance to truly admire its beauty. The mist and spray from the waterfall make the surroundings even more magical. It’s also a great spot for photography, especially during the monsoon season when the flow is at its peak. The area can get crowded on weekends, so visiting early in the morning is ideal for a more peaceful experience. Overall, Bharachukki Waterfall is a must-visit destination for anyone who loves nature and scenic beauty.

It was a great experience. You have few food stalls, a home stay and plenty of places to sit for a while. Make sure avoid rainy season since you have no sufficient place to get shelter. The view is really good and worth the trip. There are few side seeing on the way to the waterfall. Since the waterfall premise is full monkeys, need to take extra precautions on your vehicle and belongings.

I highly recommend setting aside half a day or more to truly soak in the beauty and history of this incredible site. The parking fee was a reasonable Rs. 40, and the entry fee was just Rs. 20 per person—definitely a steal for such an enriching experience. As soon as we arrived, we understood why this temple is nominated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The intricate carvings and detailed sculptures left us in awe; it's hard to believe that such artistry was achieved entirely by hand! The patience and skill of the artisans who created this masterpiece are truly commendable. One of the aspects I appreciated most about Somnathapura Temple was the absence of pandits and rituals inside, unlike many other temples. This allowed us to explore the temple freely without any restrictions on photography. We were able to wander around, taking in every corner and sculpture at our own pace, which made the experience even more memorable. If you're in the Mysore area, don't miss out on visiting Somnathapura Temple—it's a hidden gem that offers a glimpse into India's rich cultural heritage!
