Despite visiting many races across Europe, I had never visited Mugello. My son & I visited the famous Mugello for the full 3 days this year. We hired a motorbike in Florence & rode to the circuit (about 40mins). The roads to the circuit were great and clearly signposted. Amazingly, we found that we could park on the circuit roads or small car parks on the circuit for free. We found a great viewing only 4mins from our parking spot! From there, we could see >80% of the circuit & there was a large tv screen close by to watch the race, replays & positions. Facilities were superb & not too expensive compared to, say, Silverstone. The atmosphere, viewing, Facilities & entrance/exit using the motorbike were great even on the main race day (Sunday). Highly recommended & we will go again.

This is a great market to visit. We purchased some items from a few of the stalls there and they were all very delicious. Upstairs there is an awesome food court where there are heaps of choices to eat. We also had a coffee and avocado toast here at one of the places and it was great. We also found the whole vibe and people watching fascinating!

Very interesting exhibition and the views from the tower are well-worth the climb. It is a bit of a challenge if you are scared of heights like me. The ticket is also valid for the Duomo right next door. Full recommendation.

San Gimignano is like a more compact version of Sienna. It's a small medieval town that is just lovely to visit! Walking along the streets of this place is like taking me back centuries ago, traversing the same narrow and rolling alleys of this magnificent town. The towers were said to be a sign of wealth back then. Only a couple remain but one can only imagine the awe of people witnessing these colossal structures. Definitely a must visit place in Italy!

A medieval open space at the heart of the uniquely beautiful city of San Gimignano. The piazza, like the rest of the place, feels like it's frozen in time. The atmosphere in the morning is peaceful although later on during the day, the place can become busy with visitors. There are several eateries and cafés around the piazza, some of them boasting to have the best gelato in the world.

A very large and extremely good Gucci outlet. There is a wide selection of clothes and especially shoes, with prices that are really good. Sometimes it’s hard to find the right sizes, but that’s normal for an outlet. You may also have to wait a bit to be served, since you can’t just pick the items yourself. Other than that, I think it’s the best shop inside the mall.

Stefano’s wines are all from not-more-than 30km from his shop. We tasted 22 wines and the best thing is that he doesn’t even charge for this. Of course it’s a cool idea because we walked away with 12 bottles of wine and 4 bottles of chocolate truffle. Amazing and humble host and I wish him all the best in life!

We did the wine, olive oil, and balsamic tasting. All exceeded expectations! Our host was wonderful and very knowledgeable! And the winery itself is beautiful. Highly recommend

Is a camping only for campers or minivans, campsite is very quiet in the middle of beautifull nature. All is very well maintained and clean. For breakfast, bread and diner there is closeby a very good hotel. Very friendly englisch speaking staff. Got some great advice for hikes.

Puts II and III lived in a prosperous time and rewarded each other with a designated library. Wonderful construction and artworks. The floor which is usually covered, was bare for all to see.

A truly beautiful place with an amazing atmosphere. Piazza del Campo is the heart of Siena – a unique medieval square that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Stunning architecture, plenty of cafés and restaurants where you can sit and soak it all in. The best time to visit is in the evening, when the square comes alive and is beautifully lit. Definitely one of the most charming squares in Europe.

Very nice monastery on the top of the hill. Near parking available as well as restaurant directly in the monastery, or right next to rhe parking.

Amazing experience! Place is huge , lots of extra stuff like water/ tea and fruit all throughout. Staff are amazingly accommodating and pleasant. Spa coordinator was going above and beyond to resolve our issue of double booking that booking.com can NOT,( have not confirmed the refund ) The view view the infinity pool specially during sunset was marvelous it adds to the fantastic scenery. My young adult kids loved their facials and the many options on where to soak. We as a family collectively wants to go back. Dinner was deliciously crafted my monk fish specially. We am more relaxed and rejuvenated leaving this place so that’s worth my expense.

We came on a Wednesday, Summer day and only went for the pools and sunbathing, not to stay at the hotel. We brought our own towels, shoes and change of clothes. It was perfect for our visit. Multiple pools offered a nice variety to choose from. We have two children, 8 & 10 years old boys and saw multiple other children, but saw plenty of single adults. Since the facility is so large with multiple pools, I felt there were several options for peace and tranquility, sunbathing or family fun. The water temperature was perfect and even offered a refreshing cool shower right outside of the pool. We ate at the cafe and left with iced coffee togo on our trip back to our Air BnB. Front desk was kind and facility was clean! Would recommend!

I cant remember buying tickets here...maybe because there was a funeral right before we entered. The frescoes on the ceiling are breathtaking. The interior is a little darker than other churches/cathedrals so far. You wanna sit here and just enjoy the details.

Because of frescoes which are the main attraction in this cathedral, are most important ones around main altar presenting The History of the True Cross from 1400s. In those times most people were illiterate and for them to understand Bible is to make it like a comic books today.....pictures that follow and tell a story. There is another story on the wall, fresco, that was amazing to me. Of archangel Gabriel.

Amazing wine tasting and meal without a reservation. Highly recommend! Waiter very knowledgeable about the wines shared!

The paintings of Master artist Piero della Francesca, who was born in Borgo Sansepolcro, are here and are some of the finest you can see, including the Resurrection fresco in its original setting. Worth the entrance price itself, although there are often interesting exhibitions in the basement as well.

Very nice, worth to visit…..the only point is that in summer is very hot…..but Montepulciano is a must

This is way off the beaten path, but the views from atop the tower, which sits on top of the mountain, are amazing.... It's 5 euros per person. The outside looks unkept, but the stairs in the tower are modern and solid.

Tranquil little village by the lake. One can have a stroll around the lake, grab some food from one of the restaurants in the area, or simply sit down on one of the benches and admire nature and quiet. There are also souvenir shops and cafeterias.

This is a beautiful cathedral with an interesting history.

We had a fantastic lunch at the winery. The tasting menu had a nice variety of choices with paired wines for each course. The food was sensational, and the staff were very attentive. The winery is set in a beautiful valley which adds to the ambience. Highly recommend a visit.
