Like a fairytale. Old coupe goes up and down every half an hour. On the hill there is a great view on Montecatini and a big number of caffes and restaurants. Very romantic and prestige.

Riding the funicolare to the top of the mountain is totally worth it!! While you are up there- explore the small medieval village! The view is fabulous! 👍❤️
Lonianne1 — Google review
Great experience—definitely recommend! The return ticket was €7 per person, and absolutely worth it. Montecatini Alto felt like stepping back in time. I absolutely loved it! 🥰
Teodora D — Google review
It was a fun, relaxing ride, you have plenty of information available on the spot regarding its history an elevation angles. And the view from Montecatini Alto is magnificent. The funicular program makes it hard to miss the experience (it is open until 24.00).
R S — Google review
The journey is gentle and slow enough to be able to enjoy the view. Staff were friendly and a return ticket is €7. We enjoyed our visit to Montecatini Alto, there are several small shops and a central square with restaurants, a bar, and Gelato shop. lots of outdoor seating and shade in a medieval village.
Anna B — Google review
If you're in Montecatini then you should visit Montecatini Alto using the Furnicular! This is the mountain Railcar that takes you up to the small town with big views! Trains run every 30mins all day and night (not overnight) and tickets cost €7.50

Zoo of Pistoia

Zoo

The Zoo of Pistoia is a venerable zoo and amusement park that houses over 600 animals, including mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. The environment aims to closely replicate the natural habitats of the animals. Visitors can encounter various species such as brown bears, lynx, tigers, lions, giraffes, colorful parrots, rare lemurs from Madagascar and other endangered species from around the world.
A great small zoo. The enclosures are really good. It is mainly under shade which was important in August. We saw most animals except the big cats and wolves. The penguins were our favourites. The cafe bars were good value and so was the entrance price. It was our first Italian zoo and we were impressed and had a fun packed 3 hours.
Steve K — Google review
Spent about two hours here with the family ranging from little kids to older adults and had a great experience at this zoo. We got to see a lot of different animals including the wolves, bears, zebras, ostriches, penguins, monkeys, and giraffes. Great way to spend an afternoon. There were a bit of hills to walk up and down but there was a nice amount of shade so it was bearable in the hot weather.
Stephanie R — Google review
Very nice Zoo! A bit smaller that I expected but animals are well taken care of and have very nice enclosures (even if some may look dated). Biggest issue is getting there which is very difficult without a car. The are busses that in the morning and then after 15:00 but if you arrive at let's say 9:00 (last morning bus), then by 12 you most likely have seen the whole place. We chose to go by foot from Pistoia (Google says it's 45 walk) but this way you end up walking by a very busy road without side road. There's also not much to see in the area besides the Zoo, so take it into consideration when planning to go there.
Shaka A — Google review
Nice Zoo. The distance between toilets and store and restaurant in the Zoo has been extremely well thought, I am saying that as a mother with 2 children. Also everything was quite clean. Only minus is that a lot of the "interesting" animals were not there/ or well hidden (Tiger, mini Hippo, Zebras etc.) but otherwise worth the visit.
Betsi B — Google review
Nice zoo, not too big. We went there on a bit of a rainy day. Luckily dogs were allowed un the zoo, and the animals reacted good on it. The zoo is very green in between woods and they have beautiful animals. Good restaurant too. It was very spontaneous to go there for us, but we enjoyed ourselves. We were in there for ±5h including long lunch at the restaurant.
Jacqueline W — Google review
A cute and old but well kept zoo! With a restaurant bar and little ice cream stand and playground area!
Francesca B — Google review
The zoo is very nice and well-maintained, with nice paths. Absolutely recommend this.
Daniel — Google review
The zoo was clean and nice for visitors but some of the enclosures were too small for the animals

With around 140 shops, visitors can find everything from branded items to unique local products. The mall features a delightful selection of eateries, including restaurants and ice cream parlors, making it a perfect spot for food lovers.
I frequently go here to just shop and roam around. It's a really big store and has lots of shops. Very convenient too! Also, there's a cinema just across it which offers IMAX viewing. Very good! Don't go on weekends tho, it tends to be so crowded
Kristel M — Google review
We went to the shopping center to avoid the heat and it was a great plan - but unfortunately when we got back to the car after 2 hours our car window was broken and some items were stolen. We were parked over 100mt from the main entrance and it seems to be a bit too far away so no one is watching.
Agustina S — Google review
High Risk of Theft - Better watch out visiting I Gigli shopping mall! My car window got smashed on midday, please do not make the same mistake parking your car with foreign license plate, no cameras on parking lot available. It’s a shame that the shopping mall does not take any actions considering the bad reviews on such cases in the past years
Steven L — Google review
Has most of the shops you might need. But DO NOT come here on Sunday. one of the only retail.places open on Sunday and it feels like literally whole Florence is there. Finding parking is not possible and store is packed. We went back on monday and then it was much more reasonable. still a lot of people but overall same as any other large shopping mall would.
RRRudzitis — Google review
A large and beautiful mall, but I wish the transportation to it were easier, as getting there is difficult without a car.
Nada M — Google review
Great shopping center, plenty of restaurants, bars and ice cream shops too. Branded and genuine items for sale. Can reach here by using i gigli shopping bus from Firenze to Gigli straight.
Nipun P — Google review
Very large shopping mall with about 140 shops and places to eat.

A huge mall and a beautiful suburb outside of Florence, stunning stores of many brands, a floor of restaurants and food stalls, everything is here, plenty of parking. Ask for a tax refund, almost everyone has one.

Outlet Barberino, located just north of Florence, is a designer outlet store that resembles a Tuscan village. It features a variety of top brands such as Adidas, Levis, Dolce & Gabbana, Nike, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Tommy Hilfiger. While the discounts may not be as steep as in other outlets, it offers a convenient and enjoyable stopover for fashion enthusiasts on long road trips. The outlet also provides diverse food options and seating areas to relax in the shade.
Pleasantly surprised to visit this place during our stints to watch the car races in the Mugello circuit. Went just to pass time but ended up filling the bags with super discounted items. The Spada Roma had wonderful discounts in cappotto and jackets. Lucky that I visited during this time of the year! Will surely get back since it’s just 3 hours drive from Milan
Maheshwaran J — Google review
I saw about 60 people, maybe as it was so hot? Prices are not worth the detour. Clean and secure though, some nice eateries
Paul S — Google review
We have been here hoping to find some gems. Although there are a lot of shops, there were few clothes, at least for women. Or the collections at this moment in time were awful…I am not sure. And the discounts, in some shops it did not feel like outlet prices. Anyway, not worth the 50 min trip.
Alexandra N — Google review
No better place for a Sunday after 5 PM! The outlet near Florence is the perfect spot to spend a relaxed Sunday evening. After 5 PM, the crowds thin out, making it ideal for browsing top designer stores without stress.
R R — Google review
It’s an okay outlet — nothing special. On the plus side, there’s a huge parking area with over ten charging spots for electric cars, which is really convenient. But despite the number of stores, the selection is underwhelming, and prices are exactly the same as in downtown Bologna. Honestly, there’s no real reason to come here just for shopping. You’ll find the same brands and deals in the city, with a much better atmosphere. Not worth a dedicated trip.
Andrew Z — Google review
Very nice outlet, you can walk around and enjoy lot of italian and worldwide brands, prices are good. Lot of stores for kids clothes. There are coffee shop to rest and enjoy drink.
Saed B — Google review
Wow… amazing place. Just the experience of this place is spectacular Local hotels/hosts might have discounts for this place.. ask in reception
Yousef B — Google review
Decent outlet mall just outside of Florence, has most of the larger brands you would expect. No large discounts however when we were there. Parking options are great and layout of the area is well arranged. Felt however a bit desolated on a rainy weekday.

Mugello Circuit

Sights & Landmarks
Mugello Circuit is a renowned racing circuit that features a parkland track spanning over 5000m, regularly hosting thrilling car and motorcycle races. Despite experiencing a rainy day, visitors were captivated by the impressive cars and even had the opportunity to take a van ride around the track. The infrastructure was lauded as top-notch, making it an ideal location for motorcycle racing.
Despite visiting many races across Europe, I had never visited Mugello. My son & I visited the famous Mugello for the full 3 days this year. We hired a motorbike in Florence & rode to the circuit (about 40mins). The roads to the circuit were great and clearly signposted. Amazingly, we found that we could park on the circuit roads or small car parks on the circuit for free. We found a great viewing only 4mins from our parking spot! From there, we could see >80% of the circuit & there was a large tv screen close by to watch the race, replays & positions. Facilities were superb & not too expensive compared to, say, Silverstone. The atmosphere, viewing, Facilities & entrance/exit using the motorbike were great even on the main race day (Sunday). Highly recommended & we will go again.
Neil B — Google review
Great circuit, but is missing a museum and a caffè inside the circuit. With the story of this circuit is a must to have a museum.
Alex P — Google review
5EUR to look at trackday event, walk around paddock, at any of the grand stands or the green areas... It was a fiver well spent. Moto trackday, but trucks were loaded with formula classics brought for a next event - some testing - got to see older Haas car too! haha
Zilvinas R — Google review
I spent the weekend at Mugello Circuit and had an amazing time. The track itself is legendary, fast, flowing, and absolutely thrilling to ride. Organization was top from start to finish, and the track marshals were outstanding: professional, alert, and always on point. Everything felt safe, well-coordinated, and smoothly managed. If you love motorsport, this place is a must. I’ll definitely be back.
Fabio T — Google review
Mugello is possibly the best track in the world! Excellent viewing, good sight lines, ease of access, friendly staff. General Admission is all around the track excluding stand areas - see the attached image. Hospitality in the Grandstand is first class - highly recommended. Spectator spectating is also available free of charge!!! Getting to and from the track during raceday is a frustration .... but 150,000 people keep doing it, so it can only be worthwhile!!
Phil G — Google review
Amazing race track at an incredible location in the Tuscan hills. Easily accessible by car or train, top notch facilities, great viewing angles from the grandstands. Love Mugello!!

Built by Count Cesare Mattei, it boasts a whimsical mix of Moorish, medieval, and Italian architectural styles. The tour provides interesting and thorough information about the history and architecture of the castle. However, some visitors feel that the guided tour is too short and strictly timed.
Rocchetta Mattei is a stunning hidden gem, blending Moorish and medieval architecture in a fairytale setting. The guided tour is captivating and full of fascinating history. A must-visit for lovers of art, mystery, and beauty.
Manuela R — Google review
Wow, what a wonderfully unique and electic castle. Fabulous design and wonderful trompe l'oeil. Definitely a dream brought to life. You have to join a tour - you cannot just wandering through the castle at your own pace, because it's a bit of a maze. However, we were given plenty of opportunity to photograph the rooms and views (stunning!) Our tour was in Italian, but our fabulous guide Alexandra translated key points for us, and there are information boards/signs in every room, explaining key points. Highly recommended!
Lynn R — Google review
It’s an interesting tour, especially if Alessandra is your guide! She makes the whole visit a great experience. Keep in mind you need to book in advance, and it is open only during the weekends (at least for now).

Very beautiful, but it is 5 of 7 days in week closed.. and now there is reconstruction, so not that beautiful at all. :)
Honza S — Google review
Our guide, Alessandra, was amazing. In our group we were the only ones (four of us) who didn't speak Italian and she took the time to explain things in English after speaking in Italian to the rest of the group. She had great energy and clearly loves her job. The castle is a visual treat, and quite lovely. Thanks Alessandra for making our day a memorable one!
Michele J — Google review
Authentic castle from the period of 19th century. 🏰 Rocchetta Mattei is like something out of a fantasy novel—an eclectic, whimsical castle nestled in the Apennine Mountains of Emilia-Romagna, Italy. It’s not just a feast for the eyes, but a place steeped in eccentric history and curious science. 🌟 Highlights of the Castle - Architectural Mash-Up: The castle blends styles from Medieval, Gothic, Moorish, and Art Nouveau traditions. Think turrets, mosaics, and labyrinthine staircases that make every corner feel like a new discovery. - Count Cesare Mattei: The mastermind behind the castle, Mattei was a self-taught physician and inventor of electrohomeopathy, a controversial medical practice. He laid the first stone in 1850 and lived there like a medieval noble, complete with a court jester. - Famous Visitors: The castle attracted royalty and intellectuals from across Europe, including Ludwig III of Bavaria and Alexander II of Russia. Even Dostoevsky mentioned Mattei in The Brothers Karamazov. 🛠️ Restoration & Rebirth - After WWII, the castle fell into disrepair. It was later revived thanks to local efforts and the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Bologna, reopening to the public in 2015. - Today, it’s managed by the Comune di Grizzana Morandi and hosts guided tours, concerts, weddings, and cultural events. 📍 Visiting Tips - Booking is mandatory due to the castle’s maze-like layout and guided tour format. - It’s about a 45-minute drive from Bologna, making it a perfect day trip. - Nearby gems include the village of La Scola, the Church of Santa Maria Assunta by Alvar Aalto, and the Giorgio Morandi Home Museum. If you ever get the chance to visit, it’s not just a castle—it’s a storybook come to life.

Beautiful architecture and a splendid collection of old musical instruments. All visits are guided, helping a lot in understanding the incredible and mysterious history of the place. Highly recommended.

Found it while browsing places to visit in the area. We arrived there without reservation, but the lady at the ticket shop squeezed us into a tour with only 15min waiting time - thanks for that! The castle itself is very picturesc, with sometimes unbelievable amounts of details to discover. We enjoyed the stay a lot!

Amazing place, no words to describe how beautiful that forest is. It's a great place for those who want to connect with nature or go hiking. It's an environment where you can only hear the birdsong and the sound of the water. You can also find some deer around.

Huge national park! UNESCO World Heritage Site full of stops to see rivers, small to medium waterfalls, tuns of picnic sites, historic mill, hikes are not well labeled but theres a lot of space to cover, cliffs can get intense with some rock slides but they have netting around almost all areas like that. Its gets really high up when we drove out the opposite way we came in (long drive) we kind of rushed through so did not have a lot of time to take it all in but was amazing the same. Stopped and took a dip in the river pools and got some drinks and ice cream at a store near the old mill hike trail start. Theres parking and bathroom there too.

there is a place in the world rich in history, nature and mysticism. It is the national park of the Casentino forests. In winter the sacred park where St. Francis walked was filled with snow and in the extraordinary beauty you can make a snowshoe hike leaning on the many environmental guides who have been organizing these activities for years. every time I go I understand that God exists.

We didn't plan to go up here in the first place but this is awesome. The nature here is perfect. There were people coming here to camp with their family. I regret I didnt bring the camping stuffs. Gonna be back next time and spend all of my day here.

Beautiful national park with beautiful water falls and river- great way to go to Venice after Siena and skip the boring motorway- but beware of windy road- like lots of Italian mountains... don’t drive in the dark and rain like i did stupidly - leave early!

Beautiful, peaceful and foggy park! Passing thru on way Pisa to Florence Had picnick with cold cuts previously bought and got quite humid because on the motorbike the fog leaves droplets. Had to slow down because everything was wet...

In the heart of Brisighella's historic center lies Via degli Asini, also known as Donkeys Road or Via del Borgo. This ancient covered street was originally constructed as a defensive structure in the 14th century, featuring half arches and serving military purposes. Later on, it became a route for transporting gypsum from nearby caves using donkeys.
I came across this ancient street on my way to the Clock Tower and I have walked to the end of it. The cobbled street with the stables it was the main street were donkeys were employed in transporting the gypsum from the mines. Now the stables are private homes. Is worth a walk through if you happen to be in Brisighella.

Art gallery
The Pinacoteca Nazionale di Bologna is a museum showcasing Italian art from the 13th century to the 1700s, with a focus on Renaissance works. Situated in close proximity to several significant cultural and educational institutions, including the Science Institute and the Academy of Fine Arts, this museum features 30 halls for permanent exhibitions as well as spaces for temporary displays, workshops, and conferences.
Beautiful museum with 30 rooms full of paintings from the thirteenth to the eighteenth century, including the early Renaissance period. They have some absolutely breathtaking masterpieces, paintings that are over 7 meters tall and 3.5 meters wide. The museum is super clean and there is A/C in most rooms. I would say generally an hour is enough time to see it entirely. We visited in the morning, at open (9AM), and got tickets on the spot, as there was no line. Students of art enter for free, and young adults (18-25) pay €2 for entry. The adult ticket is €6.

A great gallery and well worth a visit. We managed to visit the Graduate show at the same time and were very happy to be there when this was on . Lots of good student work that gave us so many ideas to try ourselves when back in Scotland.

One of Italy’s important regional “national” galleries reflecting local artistic heritage (not just a local museum, but of national significance). Strong focus on the local artistic tradition of Bologna & Emilia-Romagna: gives visitors insight into an art-history side that’s less obvious than the very big tourist hubs. Relatively manageable size compared to massive museums, which can make for a relaxed, high-quality visit.

A good regional art museum. Note that if there is a visiting exhibit then the Bologna welcome card does not give free access to any part of the gallery (just 2 euros off the full price). We didn’t feel that this was good value for money.

Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari is a renowned racing track that has hosted Grand Prix until 2006. Presently, this historical temple of racing hosts regular car and bike events. The circuit offers several attractions like the Senna statue and museum, making it an excellent location to visit. The atmosphere at the Rivazza curve with cheering tifosi is incredible. Only one section of the track can be accessed by foot.
What a weekend you get in F1 . Just wow. You can enjoy in the race and relax in the park . City is small and nice but offers a lot of fun. You must try Aperol .

If you’re a Formula 1 fan, Imola is a must. The track is iconic, the atmosphere electric, and the town itself is full of charm and history. Race organization is decent, but expect crowds and some walking – planning ahead helps a lot. Hearing the cars live is something else entirely. Food and drinks? Classic Italian quality. Locals are welcoming and passionate about the sport. Tip: aim for seats near the Variante Alta or Rivazza corners for the best action. All in all, a weekend to remember.

The Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola is an iconic and historic racing circuit that truly lives up to its reputation. Whether you’re there for a Formula 1 Grand Prix, a concert, or any other major event, the atmosphere is electric and the setting is unique. The track is surrounded by beautiful green areas and rolling hills, giving it a scenic charm that’s rare among modern circuits. It’s well-organized during big events, with clear signage, plenty of food and drink options, and multiple access points depending on your ticket. Walking paths around the circuit also give you the chance to explore different viewpoints. Keep in mind that some areas can get very crowded, especially near the main grandstands, so it’s best to arrive early. Also, bring comfortable shoes — you’ll likely walk quite a bit! Overall, a must-visit for motorsport fans, and a fantastic venue for large-scale events. A place full of passion, history, and unforgettable energy.

Walking over the track is a special feeling if you're into the racing world. We've been to an AC/DC concert, so it was an even better combination! Beautiful place and location directly next to the historic town of Imola and I'm looking forward to seeing a race there!

I visited it when there was no race, just to walk and enjoy the good weather, and I have to say I was impressed, it's more than just a race circuit, it's an entire park, you can go by bike or on foot. The Senna monument is amazing, so many flags put up there, it makes you really think how loved some people were.

We had a great F1 race weekend at Imola!!! Be sure to get a seat somewhere because most of the general admission tickets don’t have a view. The hill before the start/finish straight is a great option.

Villa Pisani National Museum, also known as the Queen of the Venetian villas, is a canalside villa located in Stra, just outside of Padua. The magnificent castle was built by the Pisani family and later acquired by Napoleon in 1807. It features 114 rooms representing various stylistic influences and boasts a stunning Tiepolo ceiling fresco glorifying the Pisani family.
A beautiful villa with lovely gardens and not too many tourists. Note, there's no parking close to the entrance.

Such history contained in this villa. To learn that Napoleon owned it and only spent 2 nights there was fascinating. Make sure to do a guided tour!

Marvelous Villa. Once home to the Nobel family Pisani and then later known as the "Royal Villa" hosting many royal families. It now has 168 rooms and a wonderful garden. Many of the rooms can be visited and have wonderful decor from the 1700 - 1800, it will for sure take you back in time. The villa and garden are kept beautifully and will take you about 2 hours to visit everything. Its A MUST VISIT if you are in the Region.

Sebastiano T — Google review
Neat Villa that would be great to visit during the greener summer months when guided tours are available. The villa is big with much of the rooms still being renovated to bring out the period elegance. The reflecting pool is nice, but stay away from touching the water...it looks nasty. The villa grounds are okay for the winter months. The highlight of the grounds is the maze. It was fun and challenging. The added benefit of visiting in the winter months is the low number of visitors.

A beautiful villa, a beautiful maze. A special place. Along the banks of the canal di brenta in the tiny village of Stra. From the original pisani family to Napoleon staying here a very interesting history.
Jehangir M — Google review
Past glory in a miserable state. Fantastic piece of art still reminding us of its past grandeur, hosting original furniture and tapestry (in a shabby state) and lots of work of art. Worth a visit. Take a free guided tour. The guide was excellent and very well prepared. The garden is a beauty -- but in a poor state and badly kept. The long and crescent pools between the Villa and the stable are beautiful. But unfortunately very badly kept. Full of dust. Still worth a visit. Highly recommended are the paintings and the decorations on the ceiling and walls of most of the rooms. I wish the villa could be cleaned, the furniture dusted and the window panes cleaned. The well-known maze was closed. There is a parking lot close to the ticket counter (inside a gloomy bookshop). You need about 3-4 hours to see the fifty something rooms. Very unclean toilets.

Mura di Cittadella e Camminamento di Ronda is the main attraction in Cittadella, a beautiful small city surrounded by well-maintained medieval walls steeped in history. The ramparts are open from 9 am to 5 pm during winter and until 7 pm from April to September, with the last entry one hour before closing. It takes about 30-45 minutes to walk around the walls, offering stunning views of the city.
i was casually scrolling through maps when I stumbled upon this tiny, walled village. since it happened to be on our route, we decided to stop for half a day. and honestly i have no idea how i have never heard of this place. it’s stunning. for just 3€ (student discount), you can walk along the medieval walls, which offer breathtaking views. from up there, you get a perfect panorama of the entire village, a massive church dominating the skyline, and mountains stretching into the distance like a postcard that somehow came to life. if you ever get the chance stop here.

Very well-maintained walls, clean and safe. Panoramic and cool to walk during evening in the spring. €5 (per adult) well spent.

This is such a hidden gem - beautiful place and seriously impressive to be able to make the full tour on medieval city walls. Little tricky with a fear of heights, but manageable. The barriers were robust all round, and we felt sufficiently secure to bring our little boy there. Prams can be left at the entrance. The inside of the city itself is also nice to stroll around.
Kathryn — Google review
My wife and I were brought here by a family friend while visiting her here in Italy. We walked along the top of the wall that surrounds the city and marveled at the sights. The view is incredible. I wouldn't recommend the tour along the wall for anyone who's afraid of heights. The city itself is charming and had a street market setup when we were there. I was told that the market is only setup on Mondays.

Super cool experience to walk the walls surrounding this city. Only ones of the style that ypu still can walk in Europe. 360 degree veiws of the ancient town inside the walls and out along with a couple museums.

Cittadella itself is a nice little place. The normal day to day Italian life is visible here, in september there are hardly toerist. On Wednesday morning there is a market, the city holds Manny (coffee)bars and restaurants. There are also a lot of clothing shops. Verry nice for a 4-5 hour visit and lunch. The wall costs 5 euro to visit and wil give you stunning views over the city and surroundings. In a ralex pace the walk around took us 1 hour+. Note: not suitable for people with fear of heights 🫣.

A truly beautiful historic town with stunning buildings and a remarkable castle wall that can be visited and walked upon. Highly recommended.

Small museum but very well kept and with some truly goosebump-inducing objects, the exhibit that struck me the most is the helmet with the bullet hole and still with traces of blood and brain matter, perhaps it is macabre but it reminds us that millions of people died. Thank you for what you do, places like this shout out loud "DON'T FORGET" especially to the new generations (Original) Piccolo museo gestito dagli alpini all'interno del bar sul famoso ponte di Bassano. Nestled near the iconic Ponte Vecchio, the Poli Grappa Museum offers a delightful journey into the world of grappa, showcasing its rich history and production techniques. Established in 1993 by the Poli family, this charming museum features five informative rooms that guide visitors through traditional distillation methods to contemporary practices. The museum not only highlights the ancient art of grappa-making but also houses an impressive collection of prehistoric artifacts and exquisite ceramics from Greece and Apulia.
Grappa is great but they also have a few unique and delicious types of gin! Free tastings and decent prices. Museum was really educational and everything was in Italian and English.

Grappa is one of Italian most famous spirits. Poli family is one of few who established its production and one of the best in business with a tradition over 100 y. The museum is located in old town Bassano, few steps from the Ponte Vecchio bridge, town's main landmark. Museum is pretty small, but very well presented and it is free (have in mind most such museums throughout Europe and US charge entry fee). Apart from Grappa processing technology explained you can see historic bottles, sense Grappa varieties smells and best of all, taste free samples of it in a small shop at the end of the tour

Nestled at the foot of the historic Ponte Vecchio in Bassano del Grappa, the Poli Grappa Museum is not just a collection of exhibits — it’s a love letter to one of Italy’s oldest and most misunderstood spirits: Grappa. Run by the legendary Poli family, distillers since 1898, the museum guides you through five centuries of grappa-making, from rustic copper stills to modern-day artistry. You’ll learn how leftover grape skins (vinaccia) are transformed into a noble distillate — a process rooted in sustainability long before it was fashionable. The museum is small but beautifully curated, with multilingual explanations, antique distillation tools, and aromatic exhibits that let you “smell the spirit” in every sense. At the end, step into the tasting room, where the real magic happens. The Poli family’s grappe are elegant, refined, and expressive — from the floral and smooth Morbida, to the bold Sarpa di Poli. You’ll also find liqueurs, brandy, and even grappa-based perfumes. This is not just a stop for grappa lovers — it’s a window into Italian craftsmanship, tradition, and heart.

It was amazinggg, We loved it.We took the gondola and it was a great experience. We paid 90€ in total for three people. The price does not change depending on the number of people. It is the same whether there are five people. The 30 minute gondola ride is priced at 90€.Definitely take a walk around the back streets, this is essential to understand the spirit of Venice. And definitely eat at more local establishments, it's cheaper and more original.

Line 1 of the vaporetto is Venice’s best show. If you’re lucky enough to get the seats beside the pilot cabin, you feel the city open up: the thrum of the engines, the vibration of the deck plates, the water slapping the hull, and palazzi lit like stage sets as you glide past. Rialto was once the world’s trading floor, where goods from East and West were landed — and you sense that weight of history even now, slipping under its arch by night. A vaporetto ride is Venice’s greatest souvenir: not bought, but lived.

Piazza San Marco, also known as St. Mark's Square, is a historic and iconic gathering place in Venice that dates back to the 12th century. It is dominated by the impressive St. Mark's Basilica and surrounded by significant landmarks such as the Doge's Palace and the National Library of St Mark's. The square has been at the heart of religious belief and political authority in Venice throughout history.
Visiting the tower is truly an immersive experience for the entire family, offering both excitement and wonder from the moment you arrive. As you step onto the grounds, you are greeted by the charm and history of Venice, which immediately sets the tone for an unforgettable adventure. The architectural details of the tower are fascinating to observe up close, from the intricate stonework to the weathered textures that tell stories of centuries past. Exploring the area around the tower allows families to soak in the atmosphere and appreciate the cultural significance of the site, making it much more than just a tourist stop. The highlight of the visit, however, is unquestionably the breathtaking view from the top of the tower. Once you ascend, whether by stairs or elevator, you are rewarded with a panoramic spectacle that stretches across the entire city of Venice. The red-tiled rooftops shimmer in the sunlight, and the winding canals create a mesmerizing pattern that seems to weave the city together like a delicate piece of art. Looking out toward the harbor, you can see ships and gondolas gliding through the water, adding energy and life to the serene horizon. On a clear day, the distant islands and the sparkling Adriatic Sea come into view, providing a scene that feels almost dreamlike. What makes this experience particularly special for families is the way it blends learning and leisure. Children and adults alike can marvel at the geography of the city, while also appreciating the beauty of the Venetian skyline. It is an opportunity to create lasting memories, capture stunning photographs, and gain a new perspective on one of the world’s most enchanting destinations. Beautiful location. Choose the time of year you go as it can become very busy indeed. The streets of Venice are many and varied with many bridges and not a car to be seen. The waterways are busy too, bustling with boats which is entertaining to watch. Easy access by foot straight from the train station. Most definitely worth a visit but go armed with 'maps' on your phone so you don't get lost.

Such a lovely place to visit, the buildings are stunning. Very busy with a great feel and atmosphere. Very easy to get too, with lots of gift shops and stalls very close by, and also ferrry rides and gondola rides on the waterfont. A wonderfully beautiful place to be. Very hapy to have visited here

Beautiful buildings. Not crowded in October. Pleasant weather. Live music in the middle of the Piazza at Cafe Florian. Best place for some photos. I did not visit the building, just drank a coffee and walked around.

In my opinion, Piazza San Marco is one of the most beautiful squares in the world. The entire place feels almost magical — the canals, the buildings, the bell tower, the palace, and the clock all add a unique touch of grandeur and splendor. This square was one of the main reasons I visited Venice, and it truly exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend experiencing its charm in person.
Murillo P — Google review
Piazza San Marco is absolutely stunning — truly the heart of Venice! The architecture is breathtaking, with St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace, and the Campanile all surrounding the square. There’s something magical about just standing there, listening to the music from the cafés, and watching the world go by. It can get crowded, but it’s 100% worth visiting. Try coming early in the morning or later in the evening when it’s quieter — the atmosphere is unforgettable. A must-see for anyone visiting Venice

Lots of seagulls that will attack you if you have food. Get ready to defend yourself. Great place that really adds to the magic of venice specially when you are standing in the main plaza

St Mark's Campanile

Historical place
Sights & Landmarks
St Mark's Campanile is an impressive 16th-century cathedral tower located in Piazza San Marco, Venice. It offers breathtaking views of the city and the surrounding area. Visitors can take an elevator to the top and enjoy panoramic vistas of Piazza San Marco, the Doges Palace, St. Mark's Basilica, and the Venetian Lagoon. The tower provides a convenient way to experience stunning aerial views without having to climb stairs.
It’s €15 per person, but it’s really WORTH IT!! You have an over view of the whole city and islands of Venice. You choose every half hour for the climb up time, but it’s not that strict. You can come up during sunset hours - personally I think it’s very beautiful. It’s elevator only so you don’t need to climb up the bell tower. Also, during sometime the bells will ring very loudly - be aware.
Erdun A — Google review
A visit here is €15, somehow steeper than visiting the actual basilica over the square, but I think it was worth it. You get a quick lift ride to the top of the tower and then obviously the views across the city. It was a bit rainy when we went but this didn’t ruin the experience. We did expect some kind of joined up ticket system for St. Mark’s Square; I think it would be good to be able to buy a linked ticket for the basilica, campanile and palace. Similar to the Doge’s Palace, the online ticket system was hard to navigate but it worked in the end.
Ollie F — Google review
It’s really nice being able to see so much of Venice from the top of the bell tower— the views are definitely a highlight and really beautiful. We paid €40 to go up, which felt a bit pricey, but overall the experience was still worth it. It was raining the day we visited, yet we still enjoyed the panoramic views over the city. A memorable stop in Venice!
Dennis D — Google review
You can now only purchase tickets for the bell tower online. There is a QR code to scan by the main entrance or visit their official website in advance. There is only one official ticket office for bell tower tickets and so you want the website with basilicasanmarco.skiperformance in the web address. I also highly recommend you do this in advance as it took us 45 minutes trying to do this there and then & the website kept crashing or took an age to buffer on account of the number of people trying to do the same thing in the same location. When we moved away from the area the website loaded more easily. They are the best views of Venice for sure and cost €15 per adult with cheaper prices for children.
Mark W — Google review
The ticket system can be a little overwhelming, but once you get them, you will wait some time in queue for the lift. We had tickets for 18:00 - 18:30, the sunset was at 18:08 and we entered queue around 17:57 and got up after 18:14, the sun was already set but still was beautiful. The views you get up There is like nothing else provided in Venezia. You can see almost all of it, if you are here i definitely recomend giving these views a go.
Jiri S — Google review
Definitely worth to visit the tower. Great view from the top for every side of Venice. The lift takes you up and then down again. Recommend to buy tickets in advance as it might be busy. Also entrance might be flooded during high tide so be prepared with shoes covers.
Elghato E — Google review
The Campanile is the main landmark in Piazza San Marco and a must-do visit in Venice! The ascent is super easy, done entirely by elevator, and you only pay the entrance ticket (no extra fees for the elevator). The experience is a pure lookout point: there are no rooms or exhibitions up there, but the reward is the most spectacular 360-degree view of the city. *** Tip: Go up in the afternoon! Often, the morning fog covers the tower and can hinder the view. In the afternoon, visibility is usually perfect, offering the best perspective.
Bia&Pedro — Google review
This allows you to have a look around Venice from above. You reach the top of the Campanile with an elevator and once on the top you can move around (literally) the balcony (closed with a metal net for security reasons. You are able to spot the points of interest all around and there’s a map in front of every “window” to help you understand what you’re looking at. The visit can really take 30 minutes if you’re not wishing to spend much time looking at the view. You will likely need to queue for the elevator both up and down, even if you have a timed ticket. Talking of which, it would be much better to buy that in advance to select the slot which suits you best. You can do so directly on the official website, where you have to create an account. You will receive digital tickets, no need to print. You don’t need a guide for this tour, as it is literally just a sightseeing.

The Doge's Palace, also known as Palazzo Ducale, is a stunning Gothic building located in Venice on St. Mark's Square. It served as the residence of the rulers and housed the parliament, secret affairs of the Inquisition, and even imprisoned criminals. The palace boasts chiseled colonnades, Gothic arches, and crenellated walls that give it an exquisite and sophisticated appearance in this city on water.
This place was extremely extraordinary and was a pleasure exploring the palace. I would really recommend that you buy tickets beforehand and the earlier the better. You will definitely need 2+ hours to explore this palace especially if your into art and history. I loved every bit of it. The cafe was also nice and the prices were reasonable. It’s definitely a must go if you’re in Venice!
Tania H — Google review
This palace is beautiful and full of history and artwork. I recommend buying tickets ahead of time and giving yourself at least two hours to explore. I recommend getting a tour guide to learn more about the history of the palace. The café was also nice and not too expensive. It’s a must see when in Venice.
Vince.K — Google review
The Doge’s Palace in Venice is one of the city’s true highlights. The architecture is stunning, and the frescoes that adorn the walls are absolutely breathtaking — a masterpiece of art that can only be rivaled by those in the Vatican. The entire building exudes history and power, making it easy to imagine the grandeur of Venice’s past. I highly recommend visiting this remarkable landmark.
Murillo P — Google review
You have to get tickets online so you'll save time, not waiting to buy tickets. This palace is gorgeous, you will need more than an hour to see everything. This place is huge, there is a lot of photos opportunity. They have a impressive selection of fancy rooms. The ceiling is full of art, with golden details. Take time to learn about the history of this place. They have tour guides here as well, in case you want to learn more in detail. Give yourself about 2 hours here.

A must-see in Venice! The Doge’s Palace is absolutely breathtaking — filled with history, incredible art, and ornate architecture that captures the essence of Venice’s power and beauty. We visited around 5 PM, and it wasn’t busy at all, which made it even more enjoyable to explore at our own pace. Highly recommend booking tickets in advance to skip any lines and ensure your preferred time. Walking across the Bridge of Sighs and seeing the view from both sides was unforgettable. Truly one of the highlights of our trip!
Genevieve J — Google review
Book ahead of time and the queue isn't TOTALLY awful. Impressive selection of fancy rooms with big paintings in them. Have fun spotting which doge looks the most like Santa! Surprised the gift shop doesn't do Doge Top Trumps, this would sell (if palazzo ducale are listening). Also top tip: at some point in the tour you get to the prison cells and you have the option to take the short route or the 'complete tour'. The complete tour is just LOTS MORE PRISON CELLS. Only take if you really enjoy empty stone rooms and stairs!
Ian G — Google review
We booked a tour via get your guide (crown tours). The tour guide we had was passionate and her English was really easy to understand. We learnt so much. We chose the balcony tour and that was excellent and not too crowded. Got so much more out of your than I expected. Be warned plan to get there earlier than your time slot, I saw a couple who were late and missed there toyr and as other tours were full could not join the next one.
Jo B — Google review
Oh my gracious what an incredible palace!! 686 years old. Do a tour! We did with skip the line passes. Hearing the history is needed to understand the meaning of so much of this palace. It is ginormous. I could walk around and stare at all the artwork and art, the exhibits, the prisons! Crazy to think prisoners as recently as 1920 were still being held here. The sheer wealth ugh

Saint Mark's Basilica

Basilica
Sights & Landmarks
Saint Mark's Basilica, also known as Basilica di San Marco, is a renowned cathedral in Venice and one of the most recognizable churches globally. Originally the Doge's private chapel, it boasts Byzantine art treasures brought back by Venetian ships after the fall of Constantinople. The facade features gold-backed mosaic pictures hinting at the stunning mosaic artistry inside, covering 4,240 square meters of domes and walls.
Not to be missed place to visit in Venice. Beautiful interior with mosaics showing Jesus and saints in the Byzantine style. If you want to visit to pray or be quiet, go to the side entrance and go in there. Otherwise, you can buy a time slot ticket in advance so you go straight in at the designated time. You can also buy an additional tickets for the museum with the bronze horses and to see the golden jewelled altarpiece, both I would recommend doing. Allow at least 2 hours to go round and see it all and take it in and not rush.

St. Mark’s Basilica is one of the most breathtaking and iconic landmarks in Venice truly a masterpiece of architecture and history. The moment you step into Piazza San Marco and see the golden domes and intricate mosaics shining in the sunlight, it feels absolutely magical. Inside, the basilica is stunning beyond words. The golden mosaics that cover the ceilings and walls are extraordinary, telling biblical stories in incredible detail and color. The marble floors, arches, and artwork all reflect centuries of Venetian glory and devotion. Every corner feels sacred and timeless. The view from the terrace is also unforgettable you can see the whole square, the Doge’s Palace, and the sparkling lagoon beyond. It’s one of the best spots to take photos and admire the beauty of Venice from above. Visiting St. Mark’s Basilica is a must for anyone coming to Venice. It’s not just a church it’s a living piece of art and history that leaves you amazed and inspired.
Lg G — Google review
Wow. First look was across the square - what a magnificent place. Loved listening to Rick Steeves podcast about the square and outside of the church. So many intricacies and unique bits. Then we were a part of a mass in the side chapel- so lovely. Came back later that day for the whole tour (again with RS!) amazing history, architecture, heaving floor & art! Did the whole deal with Pala d’oro and Loggia and glad I did. So cool to get up close to the horses, the mosaics, the view from up top. I bought tickets the same day but that saved me some waiting time.

The Saint Mark’s Basilica is one of the most beautiful Catholic churches I have ever visited. The basilica blends perfectly with the surrounding Saint Mark’s Square and the Doge’s Palace, creating a breathtaking historical setting. The main altar is truly a jewel—absolutely astonishing in its detail and craftsmanship. On the second floor, the four Greek horses are remarkable pieces of art and history. I highly recommend visiting this magnificent church with a guided tour to fully appreciate its rich background and hidden details.
Murillo P — Google review
St. Mark’s Basilica – Venice We had tickets for the basilica but mixed up the date due to the time difference coming from the U.S.—we were supposed to visit on the 3rd at 3:00 PM, and only realized that day that our reservation was actually for the 4th which is the following day. We arrived very early in the morning of the 4th when it opened. There was an event in the piazza so there was no line at all, and we explained that we had to catch a train later that afternoon. Despite the empty entryway and our situation, we were denied entry and told to return at the exact reservation time. We respect that there are rules and timed tickets exist for crowd control, but it was disappointing that there was zero flexibility, especially when the basilica was not crowded and accommodating two visitors would not have impacted operations. The basilica itself is extraordinary, and MAYBE we’ll try again next time—but travelers should know that the staff take reservation times very strictly, even when the site is relatively quiet.
David S — Google review
The Basilica di San Marco is really impressive. It offers incredible details and beautiful art. It is usually sold out for the next 2 days, so I recommend purchasing tickets in advance. On the official website you can buy it with an entry time, so you don’t have to queue outside. Once inside, you can also buy tickets for some additional areas of the Basilica, directly through a QR code that is placed right in front of the area you want to visit. If you wish to get an audio guide, you can rent one once inside, just after the access, but you will need your own earphones (which currently need a mini jack to be connected to the device), if you don’t have it, you can still hear it placing the device on your ear. This is available in several languages and it will be necessary if you want to know what you’re looking at in the Basilica. Depending on how long you want to stay inside, you may be able to see it all in 30-60 minutes, differently from the Palazzo Ducale which takes much longer. Have fun!
Giovanni F — Google review
There are no words that do justice to describing this Basilica. It dazzles you with something spectacular, then trumps itself with the next tings. From the greatest marble floors in the world to arguably the greatest golden Byzantine wall and ceiling mosaics in the world. The gold glimmers in the light and tells the story of the bible in the vivid detail that the height of Byzantine art manages better than anyone else. Do not miss the Pala d’oro, a golden altarpiece that is worth every penny. Do not miss the museum, whose collection is better than most national collections. Not least because the famous four horses from the Hippdrome in Constantinople are there. The greatest piece of ancient art in the world still with us. They mesmerise. They look and feel real. Then there is the views of the square from the balcony…
Michael O — Google review
St. Mark’s Basilica is regarded as the most important landmark in Venice. It is located at the heart of Piazza San Marco, adjacent to the Doge’s Palace, and serves as one of the finest examples of medieval ecclesiastical architecture in Europe. The first church on this site was constructed between 829 and 836 AD to house the relics of St. Mark the Evangelist, whose remains were taken from Alexandria, Egypt, and brought to Venice in the 9th century. The present structure, replacing the earlier church, was built between 1063 and 1094. The basilica reflects a fascinating blend of Byzantine, Romanesque, and Gothic architectural styles. Its domes, mosaics, marble decorations, and opulent interior are strongly reminiscent of Hagia Sophia and other Byzantine churches, underlining the cultural and artistic exchange between East and West. In addition to its religious role as a reliquary for St. Mark’s remains, the basilica also became a repository for treasures acquired during the Crusades. Following the Fourth Crusade and the Latin sack of Constantinople in 1204, numerous artworks and relics were brought to Venice and placed in St. Mark’s Basilica. Among the most famous of these are the four bronze horses originally from the Hippodrome of Constantinople, the Portrait of the Four Tetrarchs, and fragments such as the head of a statue of Emperor Justinian. These artifacts highlight the basilica’s historical role not only as a religious center but also as a symbol of Venetian wealth and power. The Crusades themselves were military campaigns organized initially to defend Byzantine territories and reclaim the Holy Land following the advance of Turkish and Islamic powers. The Seljuk Empire, the Ottoman beyliks that later formed the Ottoman Empire, and the Ayyubid Sultanate were among the key states against which the Crusades were directed. On the Christian side, the Byzantine Empire, the Papal States, the Republic of Venice, the Republic of Genoa, the Kingdom of Naples, as well as monarchies such as France and England, played significant roles in these campaigns.

Ponte di Rialto, also known as the Rialto Bridge, is a stunning 16th-century stone footbridge that spans the Grand Canal in Venice. It is the oldest of the four bridges crossing the canal and was once the only way to cross from one bank to the other. Designed by architect Antonio da Ponte, it features a single arch to minimize interference with shipping traffic.
I’ve been to Venice twice. It’s best to go early in the morning when the crowds are still light – you’ll have more space and the scenery is perfect for photos. The canal water can be clear in some areas and less so in others, but the buildings and bridges built along the waterways are absolutely stunning

This bridge is really beautiful. It offers a nice view around, being quite high and is amazing both day and night. On the downside, it’s crazy crowded and you may need to wait your turn just to take a picture.

The Ponte di Rialto in Venice is one of the most beautiful bridges I’ve ever seen. The combination of the gondolas gliding along the Grand Canal and the bridge’s elegant architecture creates one of the most breathtaking views in all of Venice. It truly feels magical. I highly recommend visiting it!

Fantastic views from either side of the bridge make this bridge well worth a visit. The earlier in the day you can manage the better as it is still crowded in the winter months. However the views are worthwhile and the photo opportunities are excellent.

Visited the Rialto Bridge while in Venice, very easy to get to and visible from different places and also from the water. Lots of shops on each side of the bridge, and lots of gift stalls at each end. A beautiful structure that is equally beautiful in daylight as it is after dark. A must see if in venice

Dennis D — Google review
Loved staying nearby this beautiful bridge. Definitely a highlight to see it at all times of day, with the shops, the joy of everyone else experiencing the iconic moment and even the tension of all the boats and ferries doing the everyday life and business in the canal around it. There is a great local grocery store just down the canal. We didn’t end up eating in any of the restaurants right there as we found wonderful trattoria away from the crowds. Loved finding new views of it and from it.

An amazing experience. The Rialto bridge is definitely a must-see bridge while in Venice. It gets busy during the day as all tourists know this is a must-visit destination. We came here in October 2025 and there was still a lot of visitors but it is at the end of the season. There are restaurants where you can sit and enjoy cocktails and people-watch. Possibility of packed lunch in the various internal gardens or in the tent, but various catering points are available. Numerous staff are at your disposal, also to safeguard order and safety in the water. Those who don't want to be in the water can laze under the shade of a palm tree with their feet on the fine white sand, with the illusion of really being in the Caribbean.

Tropicarium Park

Aquarium
Tropicarium Park is a vibrant animal park featuring themed exhibits suitable for children. The zoological and geological garden recreates various biomes, housing diverse species like aquatic turtles, geckos, amphibians, and penguins. The 'Predators' section showcases fierce creatures such as sharks, alligators, and Nile crocodiles. Located in Jesolo, about 40 km from Venice, the park offers three distinct areas to explore: Aquarium, Tropicarium, and Predators.
Definitely worth the stop! There is SO much to see here and do here. This is the perfect stop for anyone with littles. I absolutely loved seeing the penguins and the sharks. They offer gift items at the front, as well as coins throughout the animal exhibit. This is a great place to come to escape the heat and humidity.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A very well-designed and well-maintained place! 😊 You can explore three different halls along a guided path, so you won’t miss anything. I visited in August on a weekday morning, and luckily it wasn’t crowded – perfect for a family outing with children. The animals include sharks, turtles, exotic reptiles, and colorful tropical fish. Each hall has interactive games and eye-catching, easy-to-understand educational boards that help you learn more about the natural world. Fun fact: a shark’s skin is actually covered with tiny, tooth-like scales, which help them swim faster by reducing water resistance. 🦈 One of the highlights is that you don’t just get to see the animals, but also learn about them – for example, why a turtle can stay underwater for hours (thanks to their slow metabolism and unique ways of absorbing oxygen). Overall, it’s an enjoyable, visually impressive, and educational program – great for visiting with family or friends.

The Tropicarium is a great place to visit with children. They can see many exotic fish, turtles, snakes, and even sharks in the large aquariums. Kids love watching the animals up close. It’s educational and fun at the same time, with lots of interesting facts everywhere. I only missed having a buffet or café inside for a short break. Overall, it’s perfect for a family day out.

Amazing place for kids. Very clean, enough spaces for animals, well organized. There's parking next to and price great. We paid 51€ for two adults and 4 year old daughter. Please be carefull not to kill butterflies in the room where they live. They could be on the ground, barelly visible. Our recommendations for Tropicarium Park +++

Good for rainy days but better to buy tickets in advance to avoid long waiting time.

Spent our last weekend at this aquarium & interactive science museum (across the road) we had a wonderful experience seeing all the weird & wonderful creatures. Split into 3 beautifully designed & very clean areas of tropicarium/aquarium/predators. Educational in a fun way. A great place to bring children. We went at a quiet time so we're able to enjoy every moment at our own leisure. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience & will definitely return again. 👍

We loved this visit. There are actually three places to visit here: Aquarium, Tropicarium and Predators. And what was great is that you don't have to do all in the same day; I think you have 30 days to use the tickets. So we actually did it on 2 different days. In total, we easily spent three hours there. All the displays and collections were surprisingly nice, compared to some that we've been to. Great collections of fish, reptiles, frogs and turtles. There's even a butterfly room you can enter. It takes a while to start finding them, but there are lots of butterflies when you start looking around. Definitely worth a visit for both adults and kids!

Designer Outlet Noventa di Piave

Shopping
Noventa di Piave Designer Outlet, located near Venice, is a beautifully designed shopping destination with easy navigation and ample parking. The outlet offers great bargains from popular brands and features nice cafes, a food court, and a well-designed children's play area. Visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities and are impressed by the maintenance of the entire area. The outlet provides a pleasant atmosphere for leisurely strolls while exploring its many stores.
Visiting the VIP Lounge at Noventa di Piave Designer Outlet was an unforgettable experience. The space is elegant, comfortable, and perfectly designed for relaxing after shopping. The service is top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. The coffee was excellent – perfectly brewed with a wonderful aroma, just the way I like it. We also had a Campari Spritz, which was perfectly mixed – refreshing and full of flavor. The VIP Lounge is the perfect place to unwind, whether you want to relax after shopping or enjoy a quality drink in a peaceful atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!

We visited the outlet during the Venice Carnival and thought it would be very crowded due to the huge influx of tourists, but we were wrong. It was calm, and we could enjoy the walk. There is a great variety of stores. In some of them, the prices didn’t seem significantly lower than in regular shops, but in others, there was definitely a noticeable difference. Honestly, we expected lower prices and more deals.

A lot of stores and a wide range of brands, ranging from sweets, travelling equipment, household equipment to off course clothing. The area has a lot of cafes and dining places. A nice place to walk around and do shine shopping. They also have some 50kW charging stations in the parking area - easy to find navigating by the signs.

This is maybe the most beautiful outlet village I have ever visited, and I have visited a lot of them. Only 30 min from Venice, you should add this as a stopover to your trip and spend a day here. It has a huge parking (few of them), and it is extremely clean. You can easily find almost every Italian luxury brand here, but the awesome deals are not so easy to find, you have to dig deeper. Sometimes there are several really good shopping deals, sometimes less, but it is a pretty small chance that you will leave it empty handed. It is worth a visit. But set aside at least 4/5 hours considering its size.

One of the largest outlets in Europe. Nicely organized and you need a few hours to visit everything. As for the offer, it concerns various brands, including Italian ones. Prices in which shop, sometimes it pays off, somewhere it doesn't. The restaurants within the outlet are commendable in terms of what they offer (of course, you won't eat like in authentic Italian restaurants anywhere here, and you shouldn't expect that. The parking lot is very spacious and even when it's crowded, you can find a place relatively easily and quickly.

I like it - you can get all fashion brands on one place. Mostly, you need some luck as well, you will find also many good prices/discounts! I like such shopping centre as your family can go buying necessary, you can wait on the fresh air and simply enjoy

Outstanding outlet! Compared with other outlets this one is by far the most beautiful! Whole mall is clean. Entourage is great. Almost all the nice brands are in the mall. Discounts are real. Lots of food and drink places. Enough toilet facilities. And parking space more than enough! If you’re early you can park nearby, otherwise you will have to walk a couple minutes.

Parco Grotte del Caglieron

Caverns & Caves
Caves Caglieron is a stunning natural and artificial cave complex with picturesque waterfalls that can be admired from walking paths. The area is a beautiful nature reserve, offering visitors the chance to stroll amidst lush greenery and enjoy the soothing sound of flowing water. The caves are spread along the waterfalls, accessible via wooden bridges and walkways.
This place is amazing! So beautiful, it feels like a magic world in the rain forest. I visited on a Wednesday with my three children who are 6, 8, and 10. They loved it the scenery is absolutely stunning. There was no wait. It is definitely slick and the boardwalk through the park is mostly only fit for tennis shoes or something similar. We did the elevated portion of the trail and it was a lot less impressive than the lower portion. This also could have been because it was quite hot and I was struggling to understand the map. I highly recommend this excursion. Parking was easy, and there is a small café with drinks and snacks and a restroom.

Beautiful path, quite easy to do for people of all ages and fitness. The standard loop walk of about 1.5 miles takes you through the caves and canyon where you can see waterfalls. You're given a map at the ticket office but even without it the path is well signed and easy to follow. I recommend going early morning in summer as it can get hot hiking back up. Also the parking is a bit complicated to figure out, it would help if there were a sign post next to it with instructions instead of on-the-go reading from the meter screen which is difficult when is very sunny as the day we went. A standard loop walking slowly takes you about 1 hour so don't pay more than 1.5h parking unless you plan on having lunch at the restaurant inside the loop path or stop at the bar near the car park.

Very cool place, challenging paths and great views. Lots of history and ecology along the way. Parking is 2€/hour and entry is 4€/person. DONT TAKE THE CASTLE DETOUR, long, difficult and underwhelming.

It is an easy walking activity and very interesting cave. Not so big, so don’t plan hours. We could manage it in 1 hour. You can park next to the bridge in a Parking lot, 1 h = 2€. You need to buy the parking ticket directly from the automata. We arrived around 10 am, it was not busy.

Beautiful, easy hike that’s great for young kids. There’s 2 restaurants near the trail and parking is easy to navigate. The trail is about 1.5 miles
Alyssa H — Google review
nice little 1km hike through the caves / along the creek. Walking slow and seeing everything you can finish in 20/30min. 4 euros a person and 2 euro per hour for parking is a little much but it’s a decent walk / attraction
Just G — Google review
Very beautiful views in cave, for me it's was amazing for only 4 euro have to visit it 😀
Natalija K — Google review
Nice park to wander around, check out the cheese maturing in the cave along with the rest of the caves and waterfalls. The mill down the path still turning the grinder with water power is neat and there is a great panorama view of the valley and the scenic church tower if you climb to the upper cave and proceed a little down the path. The restaurant is a neat option. We did not eat there. There is also a caffe at the visitors center on the way in. If you try and get all the paths and the elevated veiw it could be about 1.5 hour stop. Parking can be a little difficult to find as there are several small lots sprinkled around the park. Worth a stop if you are in the area.
