Stunning castle in one of the most beautiful settings in the world. We were lucky with the weather as it had been raining all day the previous day. The restauration of the castle is amazing and still ongoing. Certain areas were closed because of that and because we visited out of season. But still lots to see with a huge number of period artefacts. Gives you an idea of how important trade was. Tranquil setting with nice walks in the area. Not many visitors but I can imagine it gets very busy in Summer. Good restaurants around on the lake side leading to the castle. It's a good walk from the station, about 3km, but beautiful along the lakes. The whole experience was magnificent and the on site toilets were immaculate. Access for wheelchair users a bit tricky and you need to be fairly sure footed due to the old cobbled roads and paths. But what a place. Return rail ticket from Vilnius was about €6.

A very cool medieval castle and a museum! Despite some rain and October gloomy weather, we had a great time exploring the castle. The grey skies gave the whole location a nice vibe, and the forest and lake surrounding the castle looked stunning.

Had an lovely experience visiting Trakai. Nestled in nature, the entire environment is incredibly calming and beautiful. The colorful houses and the vibrant surroundings make it a truly picturesque destination. The peaceful ambiance, especially with water all around, adds to the tranquility. And of course, if you visit, you absolutely must try the kibinai, a delicious local treat that adds an authentic touch. Absolutely worth the trip!

I visited Trakai Castle in October, and it was absolutely stunning. The autumn colors made the entire island look like something out of a fairy tale — golden leaves reflecting on the calm lake, with the red brick walls of the castle standing proudly in the middle. The weather was cool but pleasant, perfect for exploring without crowds. The walk across the wooden bridge to the castle is beautiful and gives you plenty of photo opportunities. Inside, the museum is well-organized, with interesting exhibits about Lithuanian history, the Grand Dukes, and medieval life. There’s also a sense of calm and history that you can really feel as you wander through the courtyards and towers. Even though some areas felt a bit touristy (like the souvenir stalls near the entrance), it didn’t take away from the experience. I’d recommend stopping at one of the nearby cafés to try kibinai, the local pastry — warm and delicious on a chilly autumn day. Overall: A must-visit if you’re in Lithuania. This is a magnificent park. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and wonderful. Even on a crowded day, it’s fairly easy to find some quiet space to yourself. The squirrels are beyond adorable so make sure you bring some delicious nuts for them.

A lovely getaway from the urban sprawl of Warsaw. Lordly peacocks 🦚 made my day. Squirrels 🐿️ run galore, so bring your little bag of nuts to partake in the feeding craze undertaken by old and young :) Love golden autumn colors 🍂 adding more splendor.

Lovely afternoon with fantastic weather today. Beautiful autumn leaves, few peacocks and cute squirrels. A lot of room for long walks, also plenty of benches to sit down and relax. One of the places you must see when visiting Warsaw, whatever the season.

A classic Warsaw landmark – loved by locals and tourists alike. Take a walk and check out the Sybil Temple, the Amphitheatre, the Old Orangery, and the peaceful Chinese Garden. Beautifully maintained and full of charm in every season. I was especially impressed by a colorful duck 🦆🍁

Łazienki Park is simply charming. It's a very beautiful, peaceful place, perfect for a relaxing stroll. Along the way, you can see various animals like squirrels, peacocks, and ducks, which make the experience even more enjoyable and fun. Perfect for those who want to connect with nature without leaving the city.

Amazing and massive park area. People handfeed the peacocks and red squirrels by the palace. I was shocked how friendly the animals are. One red squirrel came up to me and climbed on my leg thinking I have food. Back in the UK this is unimaginable as animals over there have to be wary of humans.

Incredible huge park with multiple old buildings and a vast network of trails and paths. Washrooms are easy to find comma and there is more seating/benches than any other Park I have seen. Be sure to find the peacocks that hang out near the education center

It was very informative with a cheap audio guide (roughly €3. 50). Entry is free. It's not very easy to find your way there if you're using public transport. Google Maps took us in via an office complex and police headquarters (the old SS training camp, I believe). It's got a lot of information in the different rooms with a lot of reading, although plenty of different languages are catered for. A lot of the main areas to visit have been restored or rebuilt and it's hard to gauge the conditions of the time. It does seem to be a work in progress to restore everything and add extra sections. Some of the interactive exhibits didn't seem to work which would be troublesome for those who needed audio guidance. The computers we were using at one point just all turned off. I would recommend it but it needs a full day and plenty of energy for all of the walking and some stamina for the reading. I think they offer guided tours but I'm not certain.

This is an amazing place and a must see. Its part of our world's history. The Nazis were so cruel. I was so upset when I visited today at the hurt and pain the Jews suffered in the concentration camps. May they all rest in peace now.

The exhibitions, preserved buildings, and memorials are powerful and respectful. A must-visit for anyone seeking to understand this history.

Ok visit, but not that many original details still there which makes it more difficult to grasp the extent of the horror, especially for our teens. I don't want to say it's necessary to have the horrific details around, but to me it does bring a tangible message across for next generations, to make sure it never happens again.

It is a really good place to go and learn about our past and to educate ourselves. Admission and audio guide are free.

We did this tour when we visited Berlin for a few days in March. As a history lover this was right up my street. We did this with a guide Campbell who was very knowledgeable. The tour itself was very informative, with a range of information boards and material to read through at your leisure. Very moving place to visit. Would recommend a visit if you enjoy history

If you haven't seen this museum till now, don't lose the chance to get familiar with the awesome history of great ancient human civilizations, it also can be interesting for kids or teenagers. Apparently it is gradually getting under construction section after another section, unfortunately I missed some important parts due to the reconstruction work, later on I had to check the missing parts on the original video & virtual tour of the museum.

One can easily spend more than 2 hours here if interested. The collection is huge and enormous. Definitely one of the largest museums.The audio guide is very well designed. The Mesopotamian, Babylonian and Islamic collections are incredible. 12 euros for direct ticket bought at the museum. Online booking in advance could help.

A must visit museum in Berlin. Museum has so much collection of historical antique items. Ishtar gate is the main attraction and it's beautiful and huge. Also the Roman market fascade is huge and it's well preserved in museum. Audio guide helps in getting the information easily about all the artifacts. Very much recommended museum in Berlin.

Not a bad place. Not too big but enough to see. Pictures attached. It has very good disability access and the staff are very friendly. You need to leave your bags in lockers and need a euro or a 2 euro coin, which is returned after you take your stuff back out. Very bright and airy. Great perspective with the life size exhibits. Worth a visit but it isn't free.

We did no wait because we had purchased the tickets online, but for ticket sale the line was about two hours long(on a Tuesday in the middle of the day). The museum is incredibly constructed and truly remarkable! Very full indeed though. Still, worth a visit while in Berlin.

The best museum I have visited so far in Berlin! Very rich and huge group of artifacts from a wide range of Civilizations like Ancient Civilizations, Greek and Roman, Islamic… I booked the tickets online and entered with no wait time, there are Audi devices in several languages as well.

One of the most interesting museums I have ever been to. Would surely recommend to anyone who likes history. Alot to learn and much beauty to admire. It took us about 3 hours without rushing and we were able to walk through all the exhibits. TIP: Make sure to carry an A4 size bag if you would like to carry some water or any thing else inside with you. There is a coat check area and lockers for bigger bags. You just need 1-2 Euro to access them which you can get back at the end of your tour. Enjoy!

An amazing building to visit when in Berlin. Tickets must be booked well in advance. We booked for breakfast which was delicious with excellent views of Berlin. You cannot get in the restaurant unless you have booked . We were so glad we did . We arrived before our allotted time as it takes time to go through security. Once in you are free to explore the Norman Foster glass dome with 360 degree views of Berlin. It is an impressive structure to top such an iconic building. A real mix of modern and classical architecture with so much history

One of the most famous tourist attractions in Berlin. You need to book online before visiting the building and the dome. Interesting historical building with a modern glass dome. The architecture is impressive, but the visit feels a bit overrated. Long waiting times and security checks make the experience less enjoyable. The view from the dome is nice, but not as spectacular as expected.

One of the best things I did whilst in Berlin. From the famous dome you can see across Berlin, allowing you to see uninterrupted sights of the cities best and most famous locations. When you reach the top floor, make sure to pick up a pamphlet on your left. This will show the whole panoramic view from the top of the dome. It points out major sights, including some of the prettiest buildings I’ve ever seen. Once you reach the top, the open air dome with seats around the centre allow you to sit or lay back and relax. For our mad touristy day this made a nice break. I could sit here for hours. I’m confused why it isn’t busy as it was a spectacle every tourist needs to see! Security is tight as this is the main government building in Germany. Many high profile politicians and government officials come here daily. Make sure to bring some IDENTIFICATION if you don’t you will be refused entry! Bags are also searched. One of my favourite parts of my trip! Would recommend to everyone.

The sheer size of the structure is simply enormous. When I first saw it, I couldn’t believe my eyes. It’s a marvel to witness how they managed to construct an entire structure and place a modern dome on top. The entrance to the building is well-organized and heavily guarded, which is completely justified. As you ascend to the dome, you can explore the surrounding areas. It’s an incredible experience to walk up the slope of the dome to reach the top. At the base of the dome, you can learn about the building’s history and how the German government has evolved over time. The views are breathtaking, so I highly recommend hiring you to recommend this place to everyone. You will need to make sure to make arrangements ahead of time to visit this place. Ticket is a must and needs to be planned in advance.

I first went to the front lawn of the Reichstag and then rode around the Spree to catch a glimpse from across the river. It looked majestic from every direction. Standing there gave me a perspective — life can be cruel, but these monuments have witnessed history, stood the test of time, and still remain strong.

The Reichstag is well worth visiting, especially for the glass dome with its panoramic views of Berlin. Entry is free, but advance online registration is required, and security is strict, so plan some extra time. The visit is well-organized and informative, with a good balance of sightseeing and learning about the German parliament.

It’s a beautiful building and it’s free to get inside. There are so people waiting to get inside and too much control. Also, I was waiting a more impressive view, but finally it was ok. It’s a great place to take some pictures.

Visited September 2025. This was my first stop after arriving in Berlin. It is a real cool Roman style gate. The details in the design are elegant. This is a good starting point for traveling around the area to see a large number of historical attractions.

It’s a must see in Berlin as it forms the backdrop to so much of Berlin’s history. We arrived just after 9 on a Monday morning before the crowds arrive, but even at 4 in the afternoon there was no problem moving through the area. The U-Bahn has a stop in Unter den Linden within 100 metres of the gate, and the road is generally closed to traffic. There are good interpretive signs about the various architectural and decorative aspects of the structure. The Berlin Wall line lies just to the east of the Gate and can be followed throughout the city. There are a number of eateries in close proximity, from street food to restaurants, as well as other historical locations.

Standing here feels powerful — history, freedom, and unity all in one place. Especially beautiful at sunset when the lights come on. A true symbol of Berlin

Breathtaking place with a lot of history behind it. Go early morning or late night if you want to take the best picture since the place gets crowded during the day. Best pictures at night because of the lighting.

Its an interesting monument but I found that having very little information available or from the tour guide a bit average. Nobody knows the designers' reasons for the layout, etc, and it's left to your imagination. I didn't find it a moving monument like others and didn't feel it really captured the gravity of the situation or really provided a strong memorial for thise lost unfortunately, but thats just my view. It seemed to just be a bunch of concrete blocks and I feel so much more could have been done

A truly wonderful free museum lies beneath these memorial stones. We had a very thought provoking and deeply interesting 90 minutes in this museum. It's beautifully put together and you need to take the time to observe and absorb all the information on show. It's time well spent.

A very somber area located in Central Berlin designed to be very thought provoking in remembering the 6 million men women & children murdered by the German nazi party.

I loved everything about this venue it's got something for everyone gardens architecture art galleries. We spent 6 and a half hour there and it didn't feel like it in any way the scenes are on overdrive with so much to take in its something that I could do a few times and still have not seen everything. Spectacular day trip for sure 😃

Beautiful and vast city park with breath taking landscapes and architecture. Great place to spend time with friends or family. It's very huge - it may take hours or days to take every route and explore reach path located in the park. The entrance is free and there's few gates you can get through. Hard to miss if you plan to visit Postdam.

A small, cause it was the summer one, but very beautiful palace. With the ticket of 22 euros you get to visit almost all places in Potsdam. Definitely more worth it to visit in the summer time or at least while everything's still green, since the gardens are a big, important part.

Sanssouci Park is absolutely stunning! Walking through the gardens is a true delight, with so many beautiful spots to explore and photograph. The highlight for me was the Orangerieschloss! Definitely a must-see. It’s the most beautiful building in the park, with incredible architecture and charm that you won’t want to miss. Whether you’re a history lover, architecture fan, Sanssouci Park is an unforgettable experience. Truly 5 stars!

A trip to the past, to the era of enlightenment and baroque architecture. Walk the halls Voltaire and Frederick the Great did. The audio tour is very good with lots of details and anecdotes. Take your time to roam the parks and don’t miss the Chinese house.

We visited as it’s our last day, it’s pretty impressive how much money, time, and effort to rebuild all these historic buildings, including this Church of our Lady. Inside still haven’t had much to see but still nice to visit. Free entry but if you wish to climb up to the viewing tower over 100 steps then have a fee.

This is a beautiful church that is the jewel of Dresden. I loved visiting the church as well as sitting outside in one of the many cafes and restaurants and taking in the view. Church entrance is free. It’s gorgeous inside. If you want to climb up the dome, you need to go around the back. I think it was €12 entrance. The views are great from the top. There are a good few steps going up to start and then there is a ramp around the dome which makes it far easier to ascend.

Brilliant history! In the final days of WWII, the whole city was bombed including this church which was a very important part of Dresden. Following the reunification of German, it was rebuilt using some of the original stone! The building is incredible and there is a stunning view from the top. A must visit!

It's free to walk into the main part of the church where you can see the beautiful interior, and 10€ per person to climb to the top of the church. The stairs are pretty easy most of the way up, and up until after you finish walking up a big sloped ramp near the end you must also get up some VERY steep and skinny stairs (so beware, if you're a claustrophobe or don't like heights). But the view of Dresden is so worth it if you do it.

The magnificent Frauenkirche! When I last visited decades ago, the church was nothing but a pile of rubble—or more accurately, a heap of stones—serving as a stark reminder of the devastation of war. Reconstruction began in 1994, and on October 30, 2005, it was officially reopened. The church hall is impressively tall and richly decorated. You can climb up to the dome, but we didn’t have time for that on this visit. I’m sure the views from up there—both into the church and across Dresden—are breathtaking. If you only have time to visit one attraction in Dresden, I’d choose the Frauenkirche.

We came for a Mozart concert. It was fabulous. This rebuild baroque church is bright and beautifully grand. It holds around 3000 guests and is decorated with much gold and adornments.The seats were comfortable not like other old churches.it was warm and without drafts.

This Is the most amazing zoo I've ever been to. It's so big with the kids. We could only see a portion of it, but the jungle experience especially with the boat ride was so cool. All of the exhibits are wonderful. I would highly recommend to anyone to visit the zoo. Easily one of the best zoos in the world.

Leipzig Zoo is one of the best zoos I‘ve ever visited. Large enclosures. Many events throughout the day. Amazing infrastructure (you can find maps, sign posts, and directions for a tour that leads you through the entire zoo everywhere). They also don’t solely focus on the animals as mere entertainment but seek to inform kids in playful ways about preservation/biology/even physics in the aquarium. Leipzig Zoo also provides a variety of restaurants and snack bars that are evenly distributed across the entire Zoo. I wholly recommend visiting, whether alone or with friends and family. It’s an amazing and informative experience!

Best zoo in Germany especially with huge greenhouse of tropical forest and self moving boats along river with warm climate. Highly recommended for both adults and children alike

This zoo park was fantastic. I would recommend this to everyone. There is so much to see and you should have water with you because food and water prices there is too expensive. WC is free which is very good. And I suggest you guys to go early there, zoo opens at 9 am and closes at 7pm. As I mentioned earlier there is lot to see so you probably will need some rest. And one good thing about this zoo park is that you see animals without any borders and it is kind of crazy but it is safe. So enjoy with your trip everyone.

Zoo Leipzig is a great place to visit with kids. The grounds are very clean with almost no smell, and there are nice play and climbing facilities for children. A fun and family-friendly zoo experience!

This zoo is arguably the best in Europe. The animals have the freedom to roam, creating a more natural environment, and plenty of dining options are available. Don’t miss the chance to watch the monkeys and explore Gondwanaland. It's truly a fantastic spot for some quality time with your children.

One of the iconic castles of Germany, with loads of imperial connections, and well worth braving the rather steep ascent (the views are great, too). Part of the fortifications that lure you up are actually the city wall, not the castle proper, but the overall effect is what counts. If you are spendthrift, skip the castle interior (interesting, but nor overwhelming), and definitely do not eat there (much better value can be found around the nearby Dürerhaus or in town).

Definitely worth the price of admission. Lots of walking so wear good shoes. Make sure to check out the bridge near the bus drop-off point for the best view. No photography once you are inside. The castle is fabulous. There are bathrooms and a small Cafe inside. Get there early to avoid the crowd.

Nuremberg Castle Beautiful castle with great panoramic views of the city! 🏰✨ The climb up gives you a bit of a sweat, but totally worth it once you reach the top — the scenery is amazing. Perfect spot for photos and enjoying the old-town vibe from above.

From other reviews, didn't believe there'd be a lot of items to see in the museum. Was very surprised at the amount of historical items and information provided. The views of the city were fantastic along with the historic background. Very easy walk even inside the museum and inner grounds. I highly recommend to anyone visiting.

From 1050 to 1571, all Holy Roman Emperors resided – at least temporarily – in the Imperial Castle. An archeological exploration of the grounds of the castle has revealed remains of a fortress.

A kind of “Central Park” in Munich – a very nice place to visit. The park is spacious, green, and perfect for a walk or to just relax. A special highlight is the surfers on the river – definitely a must-see attraction that makes this place unique.

A very beautiful place to visit. Basically u can do any outdoor activity outside, volleyball..picnics..football…even surfing?? So surprised. The water is very clear, u can see through it till the bottom. Full of energy.

This is, without a doubt, the best place in Munich. It's a massive, beautiful urban park that feels like a world away from the city. You could easily spend an entire day here relaxing, walking, or watching the surfers.

A must see if you're in Munich. Absolutely an amazing park with lots to see and do there. Playgrounds for kids, lot's of places to get something to eat and drink. Plus a couple of places to surf, yes you read correctly surf. The river is very clean and as you can see in the photos, very popular with surfer's and fun to watch for non surfers. A true gem of a park in Munich. Oh this park is huge it'll take a few hours to take it all in.

The BMW Museum in Munich is a must-visit; especially if you love cars and design. The building itself is modern and impressive; showcasing the brand’s history from classic models to future innovations. The exhibits are beautifully organized; each section tells a clear story with amazing visuals and interactive displays. You can see everything from vintage BMWs to new ones up close. It’s clean, well-run, and easy to explore. Definitely one of the best car museums in the world.

Great experience. So they have a combination of a Car showroom and the Museum. The Museum is divided into Rooms with numbers marked and different categories of cars and bikes. The entire power train portion has very nice engines to see from Aircrafts to marine, etc. m Must Visit

So, if you like cars its a must stop in München, I would highly recommend you to buy your tickets before arriving, it can get a bit full if you dont plan in advanced, the Museum has free lockers so its also a big benefit. Also in the museum is card only ( weird for being Germany) but a great thing to know. Theres different types of tours available and also shops. In the other side of the museum ( crossing the bridge) theres BMW Welt which is also nice and free

Well laid out and easy to navigate the museum. I bought tickets on my phone as i walked up to the building but there are also koisks inside. There are free lockers for small/medium bags and a jacket. There is a small Cafe with sandwiches, salad, pizza, drinks and coffee. If your thing is cars, motorcycles, airplanes, motors or just BMW in general this is a must see.

When I went out from underground it was just.. breathtaking. Place is pretty and alive. There's a lot of people, restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. Marienplatz is just a heart of Munich. I highly recommend visiting this place!

The city center of Munich is an absolutely stunning and lively area centered around the famed Marienplatz. Dominated by the magnificent Neues Rathaus (New Town Hall), a Neo-Gothic architectural gem, the square's highlight is the famous Glockenspiel, which draws crowds daily to watch its mechanical figures perform. The area is a fantastic blend of history and modern life, with the towering Frauenkirche (Cathedral) just a short walk away, alongside the bustling Viktualienmarkt and the start of the main pedestrian shopping zones (like Kaufingerstraße). Whether you're sightseeing at the Residenz, shopping for luxury goods, or simply soaking up the authentic Bavarian atmosphere at a nearby Wirtshaus, the city center serves as the perfect, walkable hub for exploring all that Munich has to offer.

Value for money if you go during happy hours. Even if you don’t find tickets online, just go there and they will apply the discount of 20% during happy hours. We went around 4 PM and I think it is perfect timing. Very little rush in funicular, cable cars (there are 2) , view point and also in the cafe/restaurant.

Great visit. A total of two sets is cable car takes you to the top location. The views are splendid. Allow approx. 3 hours for the complete trip.

Amazing thing to do when you want to escape the heat in the city on a hot cloudless day! Cable car and gondola can be packed. Getting tickets online is a good idea. It’s not cheap but the views totally worth it!

I came here in March 2025 I had a brilliant time going to The Top Of Innsbruck. Exciting travel up the mountain. Short but sweet walks. Brilliant views. Food and drink options. A very fun climb to the top. wait time for cable cars is usually not too bad.

The queuing time was quite long here to go up even in January. It seems reasonably priced until you workout the price of the cable car to go right to the top and then it is pretty expensive. The ride halfway up on the funicular is pretty fast, the trains are modern and you do get great views. When you get halfway there is a great viewing platform and you can see right across the city of innsbruck even as far as the ski jump

Fantastic experience with 3 different cable cars getting you to the top. The lines were relatively long (wait time between 10-25 mins) but the views and the hikes you are offered are second to none. Recommend using the Welcome Card you get from your hotel in Innsbruck to buy tickets for the cable car in person (we got 20% off).

An excellent way to see the top of Innsbruck! The station is clean and well maintained, and the ticketing system was clear. This is the first station for the rail car, then there are two more cable cars to reach the top station. The entire journey takes maybe 30 minutes if you time it correctly.

A very successful experience for children aged 4-12. A large place with lots of options that are very difficult to complete in one day due to the long lines for most of the facilities. You have to arrive with a lot of patience. Overall, this is a park where the attractions themselves are not crazy, but the "wrapping" of Lego does its job. The place is very neat and clean and easy to navigate. Overall, this is a recommended day out for the family.

This is in my opinion the best of the 3 Legoland parks in Europe. Everything is good value here, especially the food and the quality of said food is fantastic. I went into the pizza restaurant and paid around €16 for a fresh out of the oven pizza and amazing chocolate tart. They both felt like they came from an expensive restaurant, very tasty and beautiful presentation. You have the best selection of rides here from small to thrilling. A really good variety - the best being Maximus. An absolutely thrilling b&m coaster which despite the short ride time, offers some incredible moments of weightlessness. The park is kept tidy and clean - the bathrooms are cleaned very regularly. Queues are managed well and have the bonus of single rider if you're a lone traveller like me. Saves a lot of time. Theres a few little themed shops dotted around and although a couple were closed on my trip due to the time of year possibly, there's still a lot on offer. More than any other Lego park in Europe like I said. I had the best 2 days here and I can't wait to come back again.

We took the kids to Germany and our first stop before traditional castles and museums was Legoland Germany! We LOVED it. Drove straight from airport to the hotel (we stayed at the Pirate Hotel), checked in, then did a full afternoon and evening till close. We ate at the steak restaurant near hotels and onsite for snacks, lunch, etc. We prepaid for breakfast at Pirate hotel. Because of birthdays, we did the birthday package (they decorated the room and more) and because tip mattered we did the VIP package. THIS was worth every penny! We skipped the line at every ride, got extra swag & mini figures, and store discounts [don’t forget to ask for tax refund forms at the store (typically 100 or more spent)]. The staff are awesome and most are bilingual if you are rusty. If you are a LEGO fan or traveling Germany with kids, this place is worth every penny! For the super fans, they had themes we found no where else (e.g. adventure series at the log ride); and rides that are not found at the US Legolands. Augsburg and Ulm are nearby if you need a culture/ museum break.

We spent lovely 2days here, great experience for us, adults and our kids. We had lovely weather, so a lot of people arrived, and some attractions were crowded, and we had to wait. Luckily it was just occasionally. Plus was Halloween decorations and products that can bring home🎃🎃 Thank you, will come again.

Great place for young kids . We spent one day there , 2 would have been better as we didn’t see everything. Very reasonable as once you pay all the rides are free . Ideal kids age 5-12.

An absolute dream holiday location for my family and I. My son and daughter loved it, the rides were great, food was good and queues were decent. Staff were very friendly, parking wasn't an issue and having Peppa Pig Park right next door made it ideal for my 2 year old daughter too! It was also great fun for my wife and I. Unforgettable memories were made and we cannot wait to visit once again!

If you or your kids like LEGO then you must visit, the place is huge and there are a lot of activities for all ages. To really cover it you need at least 2 days to get on most of the rides. The only downside is the large ques that form so you don't like to wait a lot then maybe pay more for the express pass. You can also get tickets online for both the park and the parking which I recommend to save some time.

Visited in the autumn season — no snow, but the view was absolutely stunning! 🍁 The surrounding mountains and lakes looked breathtaking in golden shades. The cable car ride was smooth and offered amazing panoramic views. Even without snow, Zugspitze felt peaceful and majestic.

Very cool, highly recommend even if the mountain is covered in clouds up top. If that’s the case it would be nice if the ticket was discounted, but rain or shine it’s 75€ per person. There’s a restaurant & bar up there as well

Beautiful view, great experience as tourists. there is another cable that takes you to the skiing part it is on the other side of the mountain. car park just outside the cable station. restaurants and shop accessible restrooms very clean. there are 2 options to get up/down to Zugspitze, cable or train. it is 75€ 2 ways on the cable I felt terrible pressure going down so mabe it is better to take the train down.

Great place to visit if you want to experience high altitudes without actual climbing. Fast transfer by the cablecar, or more slow ascent by cogwheel train. The building at the summit has multiple floors and observation desks, you can cross to the Austrian side. There are restaurants on both sides. You can also take another cable car to the other side and play in the snow, even in August. Breathtaking views. Go early in the day to beat the clouds. There is also a small church. The bravest ones can climb the actual summit with the cross. Plan to spend at least a couple of hours and bring a sweater. Even in August.

The Zugspitze is the largest mountain of the Germany situated in the range of Alps Mountain, located on the scenic border between Germany and Austria, is an unforgettable experience and a must do especially for the fully snow covered peak and the thrill of the ascent. I highly recommend the cable car over the cogwheel train for the most breathtaking views, though both are covered in the approximately €75 combined ticket (which includes skiing access). We started by riding straight to the summit for a stunning, almost indescribable panorama, witnessing the sunset from the peak was a truly magical moment. We then descended to the lower Zugspitzplatt where the vast snow fields feel like a different universe perfect for playing in the snow and skiing. The ample parking, the presence of helpful mountain volunteers, and the organized operation make it a safe and enjoyable trip. Tip: Be sure to wear appropriate gear, especially warmers and gloves, and note that the last descent is strictly enforced, so plan to be back on the train or cable car around 4:30 PM. A truly wonderful and perfect day trip!

You can take the train to the mountain, from there you can take a cable car to the top. This was one of the greatest experiences we had it was so much fun going to the top. When you reach the top there’s snow everywhere and free sleds you can take and have some fun like you were a child. It’s really beautiful and worth every cent. There’s a restaurant on the top where you can enjoy a beer the good was also great

Zugspitze was amazing! The views were absolutely stunning and the mountain lounge was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. The cheesecake wasn’t the best, but honestly, the view made up for it.

The castle location is so beautiful. It is a treat for the sight just to hike towards the castle that is surrounded by bavarian alps. The guided tour, on the other hand is rather short (only 30min). The rooms are accessible only by lots of stairs and no photography is allowed. Only 14 castle rooms were furnished. Furthermore during our visit the cafe was also closed. This was a bummer since the ticket is so expensive for 23euros per person. Furthermore even though young kids are allowed inside the castle for free they need their own ticket and it can't be booked online. The ticket we got got our toddler from the information booth did not have a scan code and my daughter could not get inside so i had to run to fund security to let her inside. The security guide solved the issue quickly though. The point is that the ticket handling system must be more organized and improved upon. On the other hand, the cave room, singers room and the balcony were breath taking so the hassle was kind of worth it. The ticket price should be reduced though. I would say overall it was a very pleasant experience.

A real-life Disney castle — but truly so much more than that! ✨ I still couldn’t get enough of this place. Every corner feels like stepping into a fairytale. The guided tour is a must — make sure to book it early, as tickets sell out fast. No photos are allowed inside, but it’s absolutely worth it. Each room reflects incredible richness, elegance, and the artistic soul of King Ludwig II — his passion for theatre, music, and beauty shines through every detail. It’s about a 20-minute walk uphill from the ticket area, but they also offer bus services (check the timings!) and horse-drawn carriage rides for a more scenic way up. The path is a bit steep, but once you reach the top, the view and the castle itself make every step worth it. King Ludwig II was truly a dreamer — and walking through his creation feels like walking inside his imagination. Go see it — it’s magical, surreal, and simply unforgettable. 🌄💙

The castle is located in a beautiful setting. Tickets may be bought online or in person (reservation recommended for peak season). There’s free shuttle from downtown Füssen to the ticket center. There’s plenty of paid parking. To get up to the castle you may hire a chariot or walk up for 30-40 minutes. The scenery is beautiful and it is worth the walk. During summer the path is shaded by the threes. Inside the castle there’s plenty of stairs to go up. I advise looking up if it is wheelchair accessible.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 4.5-Star Review – Neuschwanstein Castle Parking at Platz 4 is very spacious and costs €12 for 6 hours, conveniently located right next to where you catch the bus up to the castle. The bus fare is €5 per adult round trip, and it’s a smooth ride with beautiful scenery along the way. At the top, the area is clear and open, perfect for walking or biking with stunning views all around. The trails are beautiful, offering several photo spots and breathtaking panoramas of the castle and the valley below. There’s also a small snack and souvenir shop at the top with plenty of space and clean bathrooms, making it an easy and comfortable stop before or after exploring. Overall, Neuschwanstein Castle is a magical experience — well worth the visit and the walk. The scenery alone makes it unforgettable!

When near Fussen and Schwangau Neuschwanstein Castle is a must. A beautiful 40 minute uphill walk will bring you there. You can take a shuttle or horse and buggy but the walk is doable if you like and are used to walking/hiking. We did not pay to go in but got good photos from many vantage points outside.

You won't regret visiting here. It's beautiful on the outside but absolutely gorgeous on the inside. If you have trouble walking, definitely take the horse carriage up and/or down (costs money). The walk down is much easier. They have the cutest store after the tour and don't forget to check out the view outside near the bathrooms before leaving. You will not regret it!!

Absolutely breathtaking and immersive. The hike up is beautiful and you can take your time just enjoying the scenery. Plenty of photo opportunities outside of the castle, but no pictures inside until you get to the cafe.

Beautiful garden with a wide variety of botanical riches--from the "trees of the world" area to the amazing and artful viewing platform set high above the garden to the more formal plantings around the big pond and in the sunny hills near the castle. We spent a few hours here and enjoyed every minute.

Absolutely wonderful gardens, walks and fascinating flowers, trees and animals. Certainly worth a visit as the colours are exceptional.

We’ve visited the gardens and the castle in autumn. It was still worth it. You really need a whole day to see everything. It is very big. It is perfect for kids. They have baby goats and small farm animals. Beautiful views. We will come in summer.

We visited the Botanical Gardens of Schloss Trauttmansdorff and highly recommend it. Parking at P3 or P4 is free and just a short 5-minute walk to the entrance. The park is beautifully designed with a wide variety of landscapes and attractions. We started on the left and worked our way through to the right, spending about 2.5 hours in total. There’s a lot to see and experience. Some paths are quite steep, so it might be a bit challenging for older visitors. Overall, a stunning place well worth the visit.

Must see if you are in the area, 3-4 hours is minimum to be able to see all

This place is so awesome I don't even want to write a review about it, it might make it busier in this era of overtourism. But anyway: this garden is too beautiful to be true: the location in the Alps, the hilly terrain of the park, and the variety of plants and flowers and artwork. Usually it's sunny here which really helps. We were here in late October which was perfect. Walking around is not really doable for people who don't walk well. Parking is easy, there's also a bus to the station and it's an easy detour from the Brenner tollway.

Fun fact: we went there in 2021 and couldn’t experience the lake as much as we would have liked to because of the rain. So, we went there again in 2024 but it rained again!

Absolutely Stunning Place. We spent a few hours here. But after seeing it's Beauty I would have loved to have stayed here for a few days. Looks like a lovely community. I visited in the middle of May as almost had the Lake to myself but this was like 6pm in the afternoon.

In the summer, this is the best place for picnic. You can enjoy the view of Dolomite and the beautiful Lake. They have many bars and restaurants around. The parking is available so don’t worry.

Breathtaking! Beautifully situated and a gorgeous colour. The town itself is lovely and the added bonus, it has a chairlift up the mountain.

One of the most beautiful places we’ve ever seen! I recommend going in the morning to avoid the crowds. We went on a Thursday in July and it was okay, definitely enjoyable to walk around the lake and the beautiful mountain village. The public transport is also really great if you’re coming from surrounding cities (we came from Trento and took a train and a bus, but be prepared that the last bus leaving Molveno is at 18:45).

Beautiful lake about 40 minutes from Trento. I visited in November on a weekday at it was dead. Sunny though with snow in the mountains. It was beautiful. There is several areas to park at, free in November. Can walk along the beach. There was a cafe open during the day with some drinks and food. The lake is definitely a must see. Highly recommend visiting.

A bit too windy on top and way colder than at the lake but the views were amazing! We could see the lake very well, and the mountains around us. You should definitely go to the top if you’re at Lake Garda! It’s a good spot for paragliding, if you’re interested in that.

Great views of mountains and Lake Garda. Cable cars are good. BUT, online booking didn't work so had to queue in blazing sun for 25 minutes and then join the main queue for a further hour and a half. I wouldn't bother going again.

Hiking with astonishing views on Garda Lake is amazing. Rout to Monte Baldo is not very hard but still demanding. Down is hot, up much colder. Not many tourists, no crowd. Only beautiful surroundings, nature and sun. 5 hours walk worth to make!

it is said - buy a ticket online - avoid the queue ! - but that is not true! - don’t bother! you enter the building and there is a queue for 2 hours! and everyone stands together - you can’t avoid queue at all! and it is super hot :( I do not recommend it in high season unless you have the whole day free and like waiting in a huge crowd:(

Great view over Lake Garda, you could take the cable car from Malcesine, or drive by car and then walk 30-45 min.

I loved the whole experience, went on a Monday and there weren’t lots of people so more fun and no queues incase you wanna go for biking, cable car or paragliding. Beautiful panoramic. I loved the cows 😆🥰

Splendid view in the lake and many ridges in the other side of the mountain. Paragliders made it a picturesque scene. We liked it all the way.

This is a very cool historical adventure. The tour was worth the ticket price, the grounds are gorgeous, and we had the best time learning about the history of the owner and his life. Make sure you buy tickets at least the day before. And even if they say the tour is only available in Italian, they will provide information in other languages as well. Plan to spend about 3 hours exploring the grounds and touring the house.

Very nice place, but beware, there are LOTS OF STAIRS! So. Many. Stairs. Never-ending stairs. And even more stairs! I do not recommend anyone to try going here with a stroller, although my arm muscles probably doubled in size after lugging our stroller filled with food, drinks, and a one-year-old up and down the million stairs here. But otherwise, definitely well worth the visit, the views are beautiful, photogenic, and seeing a boat in the middle of an Italian hillside is very unusual! It wasn't overcrowded (September Sunday afternoon), and we got our tickets on the spot with no problem (although we didn't go on a tour of the house).

The park is very nice, the views of the Garda are amazing, but the museum itself tells a very superficial and one sided story about D'Annunzio. On a weekend in October it was well visited, but you never get the impression it is too full

We had an absolutely fabulous day at the Gardaland! You feel like in a fairytale, and all the roller coasters are very exciting! 😍 I recommend going on a (rainy) weekday, so the queues are shorter and you manage to see everything. Feel free to skip the Jumanji Adventure ride though, it’s not quite worth a 40+ minute wait.

Another amazing amusememt park for kids and older as well. Rides get pretty busy with the nice weather, like in every resort. I wish there was a better overview what each ride offers - we waited 90 minutes for Jumanji adventure, which was absolutely no advanture plus it was all in Italian. Other than that, only 4 rides required height over 140, few over 130. Make sure to check these requirements before going. Also, buying tickets outside od the official venue office is cheaper so look for those selling points in the city.

We visited Gardaland on a Wednesday and had an amazing time! 🎢 The waiting time for each ride was less than 15 minutes, which made the whole experience super smooth. The official app showing live queue times was very helpful — it helped us plan our route efficiently and enjoy more rides. The park is clean, beautifully themed, and well-maintained. Staff were friendly and organized, and there were plenty of food options and rest areas. Both the kids and adults had a blast — from the thrilling roller coasters to the fun family attractions. Highly recommend visiting on a weekday if possible — short queues, great atmosphere, and so much fun! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic for kiddies as there is a great balance of calmer rides with ease of motion while still holding very good production value. The adult rides too are equally fantastic. I hold the overall experience below Europa park however and wouldn't go too far out of my way to visit it.

So much fun, there's something for everyone. We also went during weekday in October, there was minimal queue and wait time even on popular rides. Absolutely recommended visiting if you have kids and are in the area.

We had such a fantastic time at Gardaland! The park is full of magic, excitement, and plenty of things to do for both kids and adults.There are so many attractions from thrilling rides to fun games that kept us entertained all day. The decorations and themed areas are beautiful and immersive, making it feel like stepping into another world.The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was well-organized despite the crowds. It’s also worth mentioning that the park is very clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of places to relax, grab food, or cool down.If you’re visiting Italy with kids, Gardaland is absolutely worth it. I am sure that a family would love this place...my wife and stayed at the Gardaland hotel, and rode the bus to the park in the morning (bus runs every 16 minutes) We love roller coasters and these did not disappoint. The atmosphere is very family friendly and the park is very well cared for (it's clean!) over all a great experience.
