Aquatic Park Le Caravelle

Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
Aquatic Park Le Caravelle in Ceriale is a family-friendly seasonal park offering a range of outdoor swimming and wave pools, hot tubs, slides, and tube rides. Visitors can enjoy the enchanting ambiance with Disney songs performed by young talents on stage. The park offers fun for all ages, from kids to adults. While the entry fees may be somewhat steep, many find it justifiable for the fantastic experience. The water facilities are enjoyable despite some cleanliness concerns.
Based on the mixed reviews we only did half a day but regretted we did not do a full day as this is great park! This park is way better than reviews I would say. Super nice staff, clean and green areas. Lots of lifeguards on duty and good control on slides. There are three high speed slides which were a lot of fun. Our kids were 9,12 and 16 and all enjoyed them. They also have two slides with inflatable rings and they were fun and not too wild. Full day is 27 euro and we bought half day for 22 euro from 14.00. There is also a wave pool with a DJ and dancers which we had a lot of fun with when they played songs like “sweet dreams are made of tears”! I would highly recommend the park. Parking was free if you don’t park right in front of park. We did not buy food so don’t know how that is. Get a locker when you enter - lock you values and have fun on slides
Magnus B — Google review
At first I was sceptic because of the pretty high prices. But it was definitely worth it. Easy to stay the whole day with the many slides. Kid friendly and the food was of good quality. Every tourist should visit this place at least once!
EF — Google review
Having visited this aquatic park a decade ago, I held out a glimmer of hope that things might have improved. Sadly, I was gravely mistaken. It's truly astonishing – and frankly, quite depressing – to see that absolutely nothing has changed in what feels like an eternity. The slides are exactly the same tired, uninspired collection they were ten years ago. There's no innovation, no excitement, just the same old rides that offer zero thrill for anyone who's experienced more modern water parks. It feels like stepping into a time capsule, but not in a good, nostalgic way – more like a neglected museum exhibit.
Thierry D — Google review
I wasn’t sure if I would like it, but watched a few video reviews and the water slides convinced me - I’m glad I went as we had a blast. The slides are super fast and the 2 person raft was super fun. The wave pool was a nice diversion as well. I’d be worried on a weekend or holiday as even when moderately busy the lines can be 10m which is a bit boring. We didn’t eat, but the snack bars looked ok and the ability to hire a locker was helpful. Overall we enjoyed it and still talk about that 2 person raft…
365nice — Google review
Nice park with enough shadow and seats, reasonable prices for food and beverages. The kids were very happy.
Marcel O — Google review
Great park! Some parts are a bit old, but well maintained. Unfortunately, the online reservation didn't work (the webshop was having problems), but everything on site was well organized. The facility is quite large, and you can easily spend several days there. Highly recommended.
Hans H — Google review
We bought tickets online in advance and reserved sunbeds. I understand that August is high season and I was expecting many people but what we saw was just a disaster. The place was overcrowded. It was no fun at all for my daughter- there was a huge queue to each attraction with waiting time of 30-40 minutes. She had to be all the time with her father because she was scared of groups of teenagers trying to get good places in the queues without respecting younger children. In addition super laud music and toilets that were not renovated for the last 20 years.
Kasia M — Google review
Terrible. My daughter and her friend, both 17, were molested here today (August 2025). It is being taken up with the management, of course, but this post is being made now as an urgent warning to others. A large group of young men surrounded the two girls and one of them molested them, including hands inside their swimsuits. This was in view of the lifeguards who apparently did not see at the time, and when immediately reported to them took no action. While there may be little hope of identifying the perpetrators, lifeguards should be employed who are observant and who are trained in the correct ways of handling such situations.

Toirano Cave

Mentioned on
7 lists
Cultural landmark
Nature & Parks
Toirano Cave is a captivating show cave that offers guided tours showcasing prehistoric human footprints and cave paintings. The tour, led by knowledgeable guides, lasts about an hour and covers stunning formations such as stalactites, stalagmites, columns, calcite, and aragonite flowers. Visitors can also marvel at a small lake inhabited by transparent and blind crustaceans as well as bear bones and human/bear prints.
Wow, the caves are amazing! Our guide was excellent, very informative, and spoke English as well as Italian. There is so much history in the caves. You probably need to visit it 2 or 3 times to take it all in. You have to make a reservation for a specific guided tour departure time.
R C — Google review
Fascinating underground tour of the caves. Guide spoke good English as well as Italian (obviously!). Tour took about 1 hour. Ring up to book a space on the tour in advance then pay on arrival. Tickets include museum entry in local town but it was closed on the day we went. Steep walk up to the start of the tour and steps throughout the cave, then steep decent back down to the car park after. Bear that in mind. Toilets and restaurant on site.
Tom R — Google review
Nice place to visit especially when it is hot outside in the cave the temperature of air is around 15. Interesting to learn how stalactites, stalagmites and columns are created. It 7s interesting for kids as well.
Oleksandr Z — Google review
Wonderful 1h walk inside the caves. A must see place suitable also for kids.
Marco B — Google review
Loved it! Bellisimo! The whole family had a great time. Very informative, very interesting. The guide was amazing. Lots of detailed information. Hope they get more funding. We really enjoyed it.
Jose C — Google review
I love caves and this one certainly didn’t disappoint. Stalactites, stalagmites, columns, calcite and arganite “flowers”, a little lake with transparent and blind crustaceans, bear bones and human / bear prints. The guided tour takes around an hour and you have to climb some steps, so not suitable for those with reduced mobility. Inside it’s just cool, rather than cold, so no need for thick jumpers. But you have to wear “proper” shoes; flip flops are not allowed. You can take photos without flash. You need to book your tickets in advance, either personally or by phone. You pay when you collect them - we paid 80 euro for 4 adults and 3 children. The entrance to the cave is 300m up so arrive 10 min early to collect your tickets and go up. There is sufficient, free parking on site and a little gift shop. There is also a café, which was unfortunately closed. At the time of writing this (Aug 2021), Green Passes for adults and masks inside the cave were required.
Monika S — Google review
I highly recommend this place to visit. It’s really incredible how everything is formed inside by nature. For visitors it’s better to reserve specific time in advance in order to avoid waiting time. However if it’s not reserved there is a good cafe with a nice team on site.
Aleksandr A — Google review
Amazing cave, really interesting guided tour with a very informed guide. The cave has some spaces with unique styles. We enjoyed the 1 hour tour which gives enough time to stop and admire the super cool salactites and stalagmites

Yacht Club Marina di Loano is a stunning hotel located in the heart of the marina, surrounded by sailboats and yachts. Guests praise the friendly and attentive service at the reception and enjoy amenities such as a top-floor pool. The hotel offers excellent service, with polite and professional staff. Visitors appreciate the fantastic views from their rooms and commend the safe and tidy moorings for boats. Whether guests want to relax, dine, dance, or swim, this place has it all.
An outstanding hotel with a very nice pool on the top floor. Service at the reception very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the bar on the first floor wasn't occupied, and there weren't any drinks by the pool either. Towels and bathrobes were available, there was a parking lot for our motorcycles. Conclusion: very nice hotel, we will definitely be back.
Dirk K — Google review
Unfortunately stayed for a night only, but definitely should come back. Especially the kindness and beauty of the lady at the front desk upon arrival (and what a pity, I forget to ask her name). Nice and clean rooms, average Italian breakfast, nice view.
Thomas M — Google review
Off season room exceptional value, and team on hand. Comfortable and great views from lounges
Steven G — Google review
I've been here with my wife and daughter for just one night. Location is wonderful, the room is fine with a nice view on the sea. What I didn't like at all is the breakfast, really low quality, for such a place. Also the service is not enough for what you pay. My daughter took just milk, and while drinking you could see the marks of coffee on the cup. It's not acceptable for the price that you pay.
Zio T — Google review
Amazon place , one pf the best rooms that i have never sleep , and the view Amazing !
Manuel V — Google review
After arriving, checking in to a beautiful location and seeing the very lovely room, we were then informed that the pool was not open until the end of may! Then I asked about the restaurant, this too was not open till the end of may! So, asked if we can get some drinks from the bar..... guess what! Yep, not open till the end of may! FML. However, the two receptionists were absolutely amazing! Could see our disappointment and did everything they could to get our booking refunded by Expedia! Mission was successful! Then we decided that we had no other choice but to rebook directly, saving us 27 euros and are currently eating in a nearby restaurant!
Gary F — Google review
Stayed there for 8 nights from the 12/08 to the 20/08 had the best holiday in Loano! Staff was very polite and very professional, if I was a super rich person I would have left an extra tip to all the YCML staff!

One of the most beautiful natural wonders by the sea. Amazing, knowledgeable guided experience in 2 languages, English and Italian. The story of the cave discovery and research is interesting and nice. I would come back any time - great enriching senses experience.

A wonderful cave full of surprises. The tour was in italien language and we were onky max 10 people.

We had a very knowledgeable tour guide, she could answer all our questions 🙂 it was a fab experience and three cave is wonderful. You can buy tickets at the ticket office, though be mindful that the number of people can be limited to protect the cave.
Laszlo H — Google review
Picturesque cave with several ~40 minute guided tours per day. In summer it's a good way to cool down (air temperature inside is around +16°C). Highly recommended, if you're in the area.
Alexander K — Google review
We arrived early by taxi, due to the heat. We sat under a welcome covered area before buying our tickets when the office opened after lunch at 14.45. The team of 3 were helpful, knowledgeable and the tour was brilliant. In Italian and English. Going from 32 degrees to 16 for the 45 minute tour was amazing and a very special experience. A lovely little gift shop added to the experience. With thanks for helping arrange a taxi back too. A great trip and great value for money. Thank you.
Caroline Y — Google review
It's 100% worth seeing this natural beauty right inside the rock. To access the cave, there's a need to book a guided tour. There are plenty of tourists there, so you'll not be alone. One thing to consider is that during 11:30 - 15:00, there is no service there. If you come later than 11:30, you'll have to wait till 15:00 for the next tour. So plan your time with this in mind. It's also challenging to find any restaurants or things to do around to wait so much time in comfortable relaxing conditions, as most of the places in this area are closed during the same time. The caves are great and fascinating! It was cold inside (16 degrees Celcius), but it was OK for many people to be just in a T-shirt. Some worm cloth would add extra comfort.
Alpha B — Google review
The geology of the area of my home town was complex and interesting, so I studied Geology as a subsidiary subject in my first year at university. I've visited limestone caves in the UK and even the Grotte de l’Observatoire in Monaco, a little further west along the coast, but the grotte di Borgio Verezzi easily beats them all. It's a surprisingly understated attraction considering the spectacular formations hidden underground, but once at the caves our guide and the other staff were all very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We were part of a tour group of around 15 people and a detailed summary of each section of the caves was provided in perfect English, enhancing the 'Wow!' factor. It's extraordinary and fascinating what water, minerals, chemical reactions and millions of years can do - and at Borgio Verezzi they've produced the most colourful caves in Italy.
Gareth P — Google review
Fascinating walk through the caves. Refreshing to see caves lit properly, not using stupid colours. The beauty was more evident. Very interesting information from the tour guide.

(Translated by Google) There are many more works but there is a maximum of photos to upload. There is parking right when you arrive in Camo, in front of the bar (closed today, check days and times). The tour isn't long, the works are quite concentrated. Very nice. For those who come from far away, like me, I recommend visiting, still in the area, the colorful church of Tremlet and on the same route the pastel vineyard and the giant bench. Then, a few kilometers away you will find Neive, also a very nice village.

An interesting range of art installations with mixed media. Plenty to see outdoors and in the garden and easy to drive up and park to see the artworks at the top by the Comune with the old bell and church with the new bell. It wasn't possible to go in which was a shame and would be useful to know if there is level access or a lift to get in if you have mobility problems to see the art deco Comune from the inside.

Located in Canelli, Italy, Contratto Winery is a historic establishment dating back to 1867. The town itself is renowned for its wine production and is home to several other notable wineries. The region cultivates various grape varieties and produces a range of wines including Asti, Moscato d'Asti, Barbera d'Asti, Dolcetto d'Asti, Cortese dell'Alto Monferrato, and Freisa d'Asti.
We had the most fun out of all the wine tours right here in Contratto. Our guide Giovanni was a young but knowledgable guide and really made the experience come alive with his stories and jokes. The cellars were amazing to see and the sparkling wines even more amazing to try. We got along really well with the other guests in the tour which made it extra fun since there was a lot of singing and sharing of experiences too! Overall our best visit and would love to come back here again. Ciao!

Where do I begin... 1. My hubby, pup, and I got back home from exploring the Piemonte region a day go, and I felt one of the first things I needed to do, in addition to the laundry, was to write a review for Contratto Winery. 2. One of the main reasons why I am giving Contratto Winery a 5 stars is because of our guided tour by Simone who was... AMAZZZING!!! Even though he is only 2 months into his new role... not only was he easy to talk to, had a good sense of humour (took my ridiculousness in stride and did not roll his eyes at me), took his time explaining everything and answering all our questions, but, unlike some of the reviews, gave quite generous pours and an extra bonus drink - i.e., my hubby and I discovered we really, really, really like vermouth. In short, it was a real pleasure to meet him... 3. As part of the tasting, they gave us some yummy salumi, cheese, but, the "ciliegina sulla torta" was the... Michelin starred bread sticks! I am not a huge fan of Italian bread / bread sticks and always felt bad at how much I would leave on the table when eating out, but, OMG, these bread sticks were buttery, not stale, etc. 4. The Contratto Winery's cellar and "cathedral" was quite extensive and impressive, and I actually learned a lot about how wine is produced even though this was my upteenth winery / vineyard tour. 5. Last but not least, I am always biased towards places and people who are not only pet friendly, but treat my baby like... my baby. Our pup is now an Alta Lange expert. I highly recommend visiting Contrattro Winery and getting a tour from Simone if your are in the Piemonte region - no ifs, ands, or buts about it!

What a begeistert guide we had yesterday at 3pm (forgot his name)! He spoke so full of love for his profession and the winehouse. Asides this his knowledge of the history and wine making process, he stood out with his interest in the guests and their questions. What a great round of tastes across their scala.

What a morning. It's a fine place to enjoy a historical experience about an authentic winery, process of production, and a taste of heaven. The girl, Silvia, who took us throughout the round was a great and knowledgeable about the whole history, and so lovely. The testing was awesome, with great taste of local toasted hazelnut, Salami, and cheese. It's a fine experience that you are all invited to enjoy.

We had an amazing time at the Contratto Winery. Our guide Simone was really knowledgeable, he has a great sense of humour and imparts information in an easy to digest manner. I know very little about wine and I learnt lots. I was with a friend who knows lots about wine and had visited the winery several times in the past and she still learnt new information via Simone! His English and manner were really great and I would highly recommend him as a guide.

Cappella Sistina in Savona is a stunning attraction that has undergone renovation in the Rococo style, featuring ornate decorations and a ceiling painted by Paolo Geralamo Brusco. The carved wooden choir seats and elegant cloister garden are also worth marveling at. Visitors have found the tour to be well worth the small charge, making it a must-visit for those interested in beautiful architecture and an enriching atmosphere.
We thought this was closed when we checked Google, so took a walk down anyway and it was open. Only a couple of euro, very peaceful Chapel. It's small, so don't think it's on the scale too the Rome Sistine chapel, but very quiet and calming. Take time to just sit and take in the frescos

The Priamar Fortress, a medieval stone fortress and former prison constructed in 1542, is a significant historical site in Savona. It now houses the Archaeological Museum of Savona and offers guided tours. The fortress overlooks the sea and provides stunning views of the coastline and the city. Inside, visitors can explore the Sandro Pertini and Renata Cuneo Museum, showcasing artistic collections donated by prominent Savona citizens.
One of the most interesting spots in Savona and surprisingly free to visit. The fortress is beautifully located on a hill that has been the heart of the city since the Bronze Age. There is also an archaeological museum inside, although it was closed when I visited. The place feels raw and austere which actually gives it a lot of charm. You can walk through the interior, explore the rooftop terraces and climb the ramparts for stunning views of the sea, the city and the mountains. Definitely worth seeing if you are in Savona.

I have always been a fan of castles and fortresses and I won't miss the chance to visit this one! You could enter the fortress without having to pay except for the museums and the current film viewing at night. At the top you could see the cityskyline and the sea! We went to one of the museums and the entrance costs 5 eur (entire price) or 3 eur (discounted price) per head. The receptionist is accomodating and well-informed of the things showcased inside the museum.

When we arrived in Savona, we did not expect to see such a wonderful fortress, an incredibly beautiful place for a walk. Entrance is free. Despite the fact that the fortress has a toilet in its corners, it sometimes stinks of urine, which is disappointing but does not spoil the impression.

This was so fun to do with our pup, I wish these were across the coast available. Super fun for a day, and a very welcome relaxation after all the much poorer public spiaggia’s per cani. The food and drinks selection was a bit sparse, but still fine, the dog parcour was cute and we are for sure coming back if we are in the area.

Loved this beach, sandy and lots of space for dogs to run and kids to build sand castles. €60 for a lounger, a chair and parasol for the whole day. We paid €10 for an extra lounger. Especially loved that they give you a key for your own hut where you can change and leave your valuables. Loungers are well spaced out, plenty of shade for the dogs. We even managed to buy a ball for our dog there so he could chase a ball into the sea. Parking nearby (Margonara), we paid €6 for the whole day. We got the last spot when we arrived at 11.30am. Staff are friendly. Bar is well priced for drinks, €5 for glass of wine and €7 for an aperol spritz, €10 for a very strong a gin & tonic. We didn't eat there, as there are many options for restaurants along the sea front and nearby in town. Grass spots nearby if you leave the beach to let your dog do their business. We have been to Rintin Beach in Pietra Liguria and Zero Beach in Alassio and this is our favourite by far.

Great beach, lots of space for you AND your dog. There is a beach close for dogs!!! Very nice. Only 4 🌟 because parking is very bad. The usual "dealers" on the beach with cheap items to sell to enter the sea. A quick visit in the morning ok, a vacation not for me.

Absolutely wonderful for pet owners!!! Love the concept. Doggie beach were you are welcomed too!! You can pay by the hour or by the day. If you chose the day option you will be given two chairs and a doggie water bowl. At the entrance there are doggie treats, necklaces, water toys, and paw protection for your dogs. There's also a little place where they sell basic human food. When you are done, there's a designated area to remove the sand off your dog. My only criticism is NOT ABOUT THE PLACE BUT... some of the people. These are dogs people of you don't want a dog running near you, or barking... GET YOUR OWN BEACH. Dogs are there to have fun NOT TO SIT DOWN OBEDIENTLY ALL DAY. COME ON!!

Very nice beach with nice some nice amenities. However, way overpriced. We arrived after 1pm, we paid 120€ for four people and a dog, which included 2 chairs and 2 lounge chairs. We got a bowl for water for the dog. It annoyed me that paying such a price, for using it only half a day, there was lack of flexibility, or better said: 120€ is just starting price, everything else was for a extra cost!! if you wanted 4 lounge chairs, pay 20€ more, warm water for you or your dog extra cost. Btw, the showers for humans and toilets were not cleaned/maintained enough

Very difficult to find, lots of beaches with no signs, and occasional dogs that apparently were enjoying the beach even though it was not really allowed. When we finally found Bau Bau Village it turned out to have a fee of €40 for two adults with one dog. The beach was incredibly crowded on a Friday in July, and was very small. No particular amenities for dogs either. The dogs had a good swim, though, but not recommended.

Very kind people.Lovely and friendly. Even our dog who is not always easy with new environment, felt comfortable. Really good atmosphere. Nice sandy beach, not too much wave which is good for beginner-doggies :) The best. Don't waste your time bringing your dogs elsewhere. We've tried 4 beaches started from Alassio and Bau bau village was the best one of all (based on our dog happiness :))ps: worth the entrance fee

Acquedotto Romano is a well-preserved ancient Roman aqueduct located in a public park. Visitors can explore the remains and enjoy educational displays in both Italian and English. The site offers a beautiful view of the impressive aqueduct, with ample space for leisurely activities such as walking, biking, and picnicking. Additionally, there is a playground nearby, making it an ideal destination for families with children.
The 2000 year old Roman aqueduct is one of the best kept remains of its kind in Northern Italy. It is assumed that it used to be 12 km long and had a 50 meter hight difference so water would travel from nearby mountains into the city. What a testimony to human engeneering !

Acqui Cathedral, also known as Duomo di Santa Maria Assunta, is a remarkable 11th-century Romanesque cathedral located in Acqui Terme. The construction of the cathedral began in 989 and it was consecrated to Santa Maria Assunta in 1067. The facade of the cathedral dominates the square and features a portico dating back to the 17th century. Inside, visitors can admire stunning frescoes and mosaics that adorn the interior.
That painting! It’s just breathtaking. The energy it exudes is something else. The caretaker was super nice and took us to the bishops private chapel where the painting is. Go check it out, it’s def worth it. The church itself is really beautiful as well.

We had the great privilege of getting married in the magnificent cathedral of Acqui Terme — a sacred, majestic place full of history. All of our guests were deeply impressed by the beauty and grandeur of the venue — a hidden gem in the heart of the city. The ceremony was celebrated by Bishop Luigi Testore, a kind, open-minded, and attentive man who speaks several languages, which was incredibly valuable for our international group of guests. Our preparation was guided by Don Giorgio, who supported us with clarity, warmth, and discretion, while allowing us the freedom to shape a ceremony that truly reflected who we are. We will always carry a strong and emotional memory of that moment. Whether you are religious or simply a lover of meaningful places, this cathedral is truly worth discovering.

Amazing. While looking around silently an older man came up to me and bade me to follow him into a room he had to unlock. Fearing but God (not death nor the devil), I followed him and was rewarded with access to the beautiful (folding)altar you see in the pictures. There are nice flyers available of that there too. Caring trust is still worth it :) p.s.: The picture of the ceiling is not showing God high-fiving (as it seemed at first), but the expulsion of Luzifer btw.

(Translated by Google) An unexpected discovery: Acqui Terme and its treasures. On our way home from vacation, we decided to stop in Acqui Terme, a town I wasn't familiar with and knew very little about. Searching online, I discovered a fountain in the center of town, "La Bollente," from which thermal water flows at a whopping 70 degrees Celsius. Intrigued, my family and I headed there before leaving. Upon arrival, we immediately realized the village held an ancient soul, but we had few historical references. It was then that, right in front of the fountain, we met two locals: Fabrizio and Leonardo. Both were friendly and helpful, and the conversation with them proved pleasant and interesting. The two friends volunteered to accompany us on a journey through Acqui Terme's most significant sites. With passion and expertise, Leonardo guided us to discover the town's historical and artistic treasures, enthusiastically recounting its history and traditions. His culture and historical knowledge are truly remarkable: every word conveyed a love for the region and a sincere desire to share it. We had an authentic experience that made us feel welcomed and involved. The visit to the Cathedral and the Chapel of San Guido, with the marvelous triptych of the Virgin of Montserrat from the 1400s, the spectacular and austere crypt supported by 98 columns, and the other iconic sites of the city were enriched by stories, details, and curiosities that left us wanting to return, this time with more time. A sincere thank you for your generosity, time, and dedication. It is thanks to people like them that a place becomes a precious memory. (Translated by Google) The cathedral of Acqui is still a very beautiful building despite the various architectural alterations it has undergone over its almost thousand years of history. Of the original Romanesque construction, perhaps only the crypt and the later apses remain. Between the fifteenth and seventeenth centuries, it was considerably modified, both on the facade and inside. The crypt is worth seeing, with its 98 columns and some traces of ancient frescoes. The small Gothic cloister is less impressive, as is the beautiful bell tower. Inside, with three richly decorated naves, it preserves various works of art of a certain importance, but the real jewel is the triptych of the Madonna of Montserrat, the central part of which is the work of the great Bartolomé Bermejo, the greatest Spanish painter of the fifteenth century. To see it (it is in the sacristy) and to appreciate the explanations of the volunteer guide, a donation is appreciated. Fontana della Bollente is a fascinating attraction in Acqui Terme, Italy. It's a small pavilion covering the spot where hot sulphur water bubbles up at 75C (167F). The fountain is located in Piazza San Francesco, close to other attractions like Fontana Romana. The town offers cozy bars and cafes, making it a wonderful place to stroll around and enjoy the historical charm. Visitors can also fill bottles with the local mineral water from this ancient thermal spring.
Waft the mineral notes to your nose, inhale the sulphides. Thermal waters are supposedly great for joints and health.

(Translated by Google) A beautiful walk ... but it could be so much better. 4 years after the storm that had destroyed it in several places and still to be finished 👏. Total absence of benches along the way 😢 I don't find it very hospitable. The worst thing is the lack of distinction between the pedestrian and the cycling path ... leaving the latter free to run anywhere without respecting pedestrians. Very dangerous. The landscape pays off but as usual ... unfinished !!! Molto pericoloso. 🤬

(Translated by Google) The walk deserves 5 stars. It's a really nice place to walk, beautiful beaches and fantastic view.. But to be honest, something could be improved. Along the way there are very few benches, and being the walk itself quite long and without much shade, this could be a problem. There is also no bicycle lane, which can lead to collisions between cyclists and pedestrians. (Original) La passeggiata merita 5 stelle.

Spas & Wellness
Terme di Genova offers a variety of pools and saunas, making it a highlight for many visitors. The price range varies depending on the day, but it's considered affordable compared to other spas. Free water and juices are provided, and there's an option to purchase food at the canteen. While some feel that prices have increased post-pandemic, others find it to be a perfect spot for relaxation.
Had a wonderful experience at Terme di Genova, so many pools and saunas to choose from. Definately was one of the highlights of our stay. The price range is different depending on when you go, we went on a Monday and it was €37, for what you get I think it was quite affordable, given that other spas are quite expensive. Free water and juices are provided, you have the opportunity to buy food at the canteen, the Paninis were great and affordable. I would recommend bringing your own towels and sandals, you also have the opportunity to rent slippers, dressing gowns and towels there. Water was the perfect temperature, would definately go again if I ever return to Genova.

My place to go to. Beautiful little town, thermae are simple but good, the water there is special. Price are getting higher after the pandemic, a bit too much for their services. But it's a perfect spot for a day of relaxation
Albert S — Google review
Totally overpriced. The place looks dated, pool areas are small, facilities are poor, and some of the jacuzzi systems do not function. The place has not been thought through, in particular the relax zone which is just deckchairs. Swimming cap, towels, flip flops are all paid extra despite very expensive tickets. We were disappointed and felt we should not have bothered to come from Genoa. Nice reception staff were the only bright side.
Kasia J — Google review
it was like a simple pool with poor massages. in the massage’s room there was no calming music or some scented candles. i had Thay massage and i was cold during massage. i had Fango Decontratturante e Mass. Decontratturante too and she did it only on my legs, absolutely not worth 98€!!! In the steam room there was no steam😐. Just don’t expect too much from it!

Well, not what one could expect from "terme". It is more correct to call it a normal spa, but definitely not a hot springs spot. The pools were cold and even the one outside with a pretty chilly water. In addition, not an easy place to get to.

Athenaeum — Google review
It's a UNESCO site, unique as it's the only one in the world that is complete as a citadel built in the Late 1700 s and built for an army of 70-100 thousand soldiers. The area has been invaded so many times over history, the buildings are so intact and well constructed the scale is mesmerising, when you're there you can only imagine how once it was so busy with thousands of young soldiers through time occupying that space and training . All that is left is the silence and the sound of the birds . It's free to view and at the weekend you can view the museum with the uniforms .
Amanda E — Google review
The building itself is impressive and has a lot of potential. But the site is not developed and in quite a sad state. It's OK for a quick walk through but I would not go out of the way to explore it.

With over 2000 different headgear pieces on display, visitors can explore the legacy of one of the city's premier hat factories. Although temporarily closed in 2017, it is set to reopen in April 2023 at a new location on Corso Cento Cannoni 21.

It's a wonderful way to appreciate not only the evolution of hats over time and custom, but also to fully understand the craftsmanship and ingenuity that have made and continue to make Borsalinos true masterpieces. Hearing about "the most beautiful hats in the world yesterday and today" conveys a sense of timelessness and prestige that only a brand with such a rich history and such undisputed quality can boast. A museum that manages to intertwine the history of fashion with the history of a company and its territory is certainly a precious cultural experience. (Translated by Google) It is worth a visit, as the visitor is able to appreciate its history and understand the fame this artifact has had worldwide. We visited it recently, but I must say that I expected better organisation, the windows displaying the artefacts are, in my opinion, too high, this does not allow the visitor to enjoy an easy view, furthermore I would say that the price is really too high compared to the location, everything takes place in a single room, without a choreography worthy of this beautiful masterpiece. The only note is the kindness of the gentleman at the reception. I would say that it can be improved and enhanced or adapted at the moment to the price of the ticket, really too pretentious.

Fiumara is a prominent shopping and entertainment complex in Genoa, offering a wide range of experiences for visitors. With over 120 stores featuring renowned brands in clothing, jewelry, household goods, and more, it provides an extensive shopping experience. Additionally, the center boasts amenities such as a multiplex cinema, bowling alley, children's play area, slot machines for entertainment and various dining options.
I love shopping at Fiumara when I am in Genova. It is a shopper's paradise. I tend to browse through the shops and then once I have made up my mind I will go back to the specific shop and purchase, be it clothing, make up or shoes. There is an indoor play space for young children and during December it was the in place for moms snd their little ones to play indoors. The shopping centre was very festive with some Christmas decorations. A favourite is definitely Sen Sushi Restaurant with eat as much as you can. I went twice and both times it was packed to capacity. We were lucky both times that we did not have to wait for a table. It is a space where you do not have to hurry. You can take your time. The food court caters for a quick bite before or after your shop or a place to meet old friends over a cup of coffee. During Summer the surrounding park is a pleasure to walk in or to sit down and read a book

A very clean and safe mall not too far from town. We took the toll road and got here from our AC Hotels in about 20 minutes. There were many shops with a good selection of clothes for men, women and children. There’s a lot of eating options as well and a large free parking structure.
Big C — Google review
Stay away from this shopping mall at all costs. My car was broken into in this parking lot — in broad daylight, right under everyone’s nose. They smashed the rear window and stole our backpacks, which contained passports, electronic devices, official documents, and many personal items. The mall management refuses to take any responsibility, but under Italian law, the parking operator is liable for vehicle security. This case is now heading to court. I’ve authorized my lawyer and legal action is already underway. They picked the wrong guy’s car to rob. Those who did this, and those who turned a blind eye to it, will pay a heavy price. The thieves now have documents that are completely useless to them — but those very documents will get them into serious trouble. And the mall management? They’re in trouble too. Their legal responsibility is clear, and there will be consequences. To make matters worse, the mall management shamelessly asked me why I had left a bag in the car. Because I trusted you! I’m the one paying the price for your negligence. But soon, you’ll be the ones paying me back — many times over. Writing “we’re not responsible” in Italian won’t save you. Get ready to compensate me fully — financially and emotionally. I know your laws better than you do, believe me. Justice will be served.

We came to McDonald’s with our children. When we returned to the parking lot, we discovered that the windows of our car had been smashed, and children’s belongings placed near the car were stolen. Shockingly, there are no security cameras in the parking area. Our experience with the shopping center was completely ruined.
Artem A — Google review
The mall is divided into two buildings One for the stores, other for Cinema and playgrounds plus few restaurants. Surprisingly, it is small for a city like Genoa, but you find stores for the mainstream acceptable prices shops and brands, nothing lavish. There are a few cafes and restaurants beside a pharmacy and a grocery.

!!!!! Avoid this mall and this parking. !!!!! Try to avoid parking in the mall’s parking lot — there are no surveillance cameras. I parked my car and went into the mall for 20 minutes, and when we returned, we found the car with the right-side windows smashed. Two bags were stolen from inside. Avoid this location!!!!!!

Accessible by car, bus, or hiking trails, the sanctuary offers a beautiful church surrounded by ample space and nature's abundance.

Santuario di Nostra Signora della Guardia – Genoa If you're visiting Genoa and looking for a peaceful and spiritually enriching experience, Santuario di Nostra Signora della Guardia is an absolute must-see. Nestled in the mountains above the city, this sanctuary offers a serene atmosphere, stunning views, and a profound sense of calm that is hard to put into words. The church itself is beautifully decorated and impressively large, with ornate interiors and sacred art that captures both history and devotion. Inside, you'll find a touching collection of paintings and photographs dedicated to people who have survived life-threatening accidents—many visitors leave personal items behind as tokens of gratitude or memory. The stories told through these tributes make the place feel deeply spiritual and full of human connection. The air is incredibly fresh up here, a welcome contrast to the bustling city below. It’s the kind of place where you naturally slow down and take a deep breath. There's ample parking available, and just next to the entrance, you'll find a restaurant and a bar—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. The sanctuary holds significant religious importance, and even Pope Francis has visited, adding to its prestige and sacred atmosphere. Whether you’re religious or simply appreciate beautiful architecture, peaceful settings, and cultural landmarks, this sanctuary is a gem. Highly recommended for anyone spending time in Genoa. If you are planning to come by bus, I have attached the bus timetable.

Lanterna di Genova is a massive stone tower and lighthouse that stands as a city landmark with historical fortifications. It has played various roles throughout history, from being a historic landing place to becoming the heart of the city's work and traffic. The area was revitalized in 1992 when it was connected to the Old Town by architect Renzo Piano.
If you are in Genoa, oh my god, you cannot miss this place. One of the craziest places in Genoa to have good views of the city and the sea. There is an accessible gallery inside the lighthouse which provides you with beautiful views.. When I visited unintentionally it was sunset, and I discovered more than my expectations.. You should plan at least 3 hrs if you want to explore the place thoroughly.. There is also a part of climbing, so not a suitable place if you are visiting with very small kids or very old people. I hope there is an elevator available, but I haven't seen someone using it.. But this place is worth visiting.
Mandar P — Google review
A bit of a hassle to get there and not open for the public often enough, nor long enough in the evenings. Yet, an amazing landmark worth a visit despite not being able to enter it.
K. K — Google review
There is a combination of a park, a museum of lighthouse, and a 360 lookout from the top. But be sure, there are a lot of stairs without elevator and you will not be allowed to visit the very top with light. This sight is pretty far from the historical center. The path by foot is not so easy, you can shorten the journey via subway, a bit.
Petr K — Google review
It was a unique experience, as it was the first ever time I have been to the lighthouse and could actually climb to the viewpoint. The entrance fee is 8€ per person and I find it to be reasonably priced. You can walk around the lighthouse (open-air museum), inside the lighthouse construction with plenty of information, and then climb to the viewpoint inside the lighthouse itself. Unfortunately, it's not possible to climb to the top but even the half-way view point has a magnificent city and sea view.
An N — Google review
Worth a visit, be it relaxing stroll or chill in the surrounding garden/park area or for the stunning views of whole surrounding port and town layout. Lots of interesting information regarding Lighthouse construction and history. Keep in mind you can get only to middle section, upper level is off limits. Still quite nice and plenty of steps to climb just to get there.
Dominik K — Google review
А visit to La Lanterna is a must when in Genoa. It is the world's third oldest lighthouse (rebuilt in 1543). Now it is a military zone and there is a security check at the entrance, but you can climb up to the panoramic terrace, which is in the middle of the lighthouse. There are 179 steps to get there and no elevator for tourists. The view is worth the climb though! There is also a small museum about the history of the lighthouse with photos, paintings and artifacts, it’s interesting and informative.
Polina — Google review
This is very cool and what a view. We did this on our last day in Genoa. You don't need to buy tickets in advance on off-season, but it wouldn't be a bad idea just to have a stress free entry. There are a load of steps leading up to the light house, wmand there is no lift, so unfortunately those in wheelchairs or have mobility issues this isn't a place you can visit. It's definitely a place thar should be on your list to see while being in Genoa. It's the world's 3rd oldest light house.

(Translated by Google) I have been to Novi for work many times over the course of about ten years and I never knew of the existence of this church. The perspective of the three levels of the altar is truly remarkable and very suggestive. The statues are also very particular, both those in painted wood and those in terracotta. Thanks to the Deacon, whose name unfortunately I don't know, who very kindly acted as Cicero for us.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful church with significant ancient works, with artistic typologies not too common in the area (scenography with large statues). It's really worth it.

(Translated by Google) Absolutely worth visiting. Inside it is like an accurate miniature of a Sacromonte. Don't mind the sober facade. The interior is a sight for sore eyes (Original) Da visitare assolutamente.

(Translated by Google) Wonderful....it's a shame that the restorations are slow. It is a particular place with an equally particular history. The Brotherhood of Mercy accompanied those who died without relatives to the cemetery.

(Translated by Google) One of the most historic and important churches in Novi Ligure. It is located in the historic center, a stone's throw from the train station and Via Girardengo. Of great beauty here is the altar of the Nativity and the wooden complex of the Calvary.

(Translated by Google) A basilica in Novi Ligure (AL) that you absolutely must see! The statues of the 12 apostles with the symbols of their martyrdom depicted are very particular, as is the set of statues above and around the altar which depict various moments of Jesus' life, passion, death and resurrection. Also noteworthy is the linear depiction of the ancient historic center of Novi Ligure and many other details that would be worth seeing and studying calmly.

(Translated by Google) Anonymous facade which, once passed the entrance door, opens with surprise and wonder to an authentic splendor. It's worth the trip. It's the only thing worth going to Novi Ligure for.

It’s a lovely place, very quite with beautiful view of town. With lots of big trees, I feel more relaxed here. However it didn’t maintain at all.

(Translated by Google) For those who want to find some shelter from the sun and summer heat this is an ideal place. The problem is that such an interesting and pleasant site has been left to neglect when it deserves to be looked after and valorised as it should be. I would suggest redeveloping the place by developing guided routes using appropriate signage that introduces visitors to the place, its historical origins and the flora present there. The various paths should then be rearranged according to a logic that offers more alternatives and leads to different points of the city also thanks to maps to be installed at various points of the routes.

(Translated by Google) It's a fairly large park, it has a nice view, it's suitable for walking with children and usually in summer there are some nice activities for both adults and children. You can get there either on foot (going up the stairs passing through Via Girardengo or taking the road where cars pass, near the Galassia supermarket) or by car.
