Magnificent mountain slopes all around. Lots of interesting places to visit. We didn't go inside, because we were very short in time. We just walked around. You can see the yard for free. You have to pay only if you go inside the building. There is a house of Ayvazovskiy across the road. That was unfortunately closed that day. I did like the area around the gallery. It seemed very cozy. If I am in the area next time and have more time in my hands , I'd love to see the gallery, the house and see the area better.

The Genoese fortress in Sudak is a sprawling medieval complex that covers 30 hectares on a mountain overlooking the sea. The beaches of Sudak stretch from Fortress Mountain to Cape Alchak for 2.5 km, offering gentle descents into shallow waters, making it ideal for families with children. The fortress, built by the Genoese between 1371 and 1469, is the main attraction in Sudak and one of the most fascinating historical sites in eastern Crimea.
Genoese fortress in a good condition. Here you can explore the walls and towers or get to the hill top for a great sea and townscape views. Highly recommended to visit. But beware the thiefs and local thugs who insist to make a photo with their animals, the animals look really exhausted.. And there is no policemen or security at all nearby!

Park Leviv "Tayhan"

Zoo
Outdoor Activities
Park Leviv "Tayhan" is a captivating safari park and breeding ground dedicated to African lions and tigers, offering visitors an immersive experience with animal encounters, delightful cafes, and comfortable hotel accommodations. While sunny days may not be ideal for observing the big cats as they prefer to lounge in the shade, overcast weather provides a fantastic opportunity to see these majestic creatures in action. The park boasts quality decorations that enhance its ambiance, complemented by soothing music and informative guide brochures.
Love the design . Bit overwhelming with luxury of surrounding features. Very clean and awesome layout. Mind those animals. Mainly not being a fan of the captivated species. Don’t mind a sanctuary of the retired/neglected animals that are nursed back to life . Very tasty food . Generous portions and good value for money . Ground staff friendly and helpful. Strongly recommend visiting in the low tourist season. Peace and tranquility. No probs to support the establishment that rely on the steady income . Very clean and well presented .
VM I — Google review
If you find seeing/part taking in animal abuse entertaining, then this place will most certainly be to your liking. If you actually love and care for animals, stay away.
Dana W — Google review
It's really disgusting to see the animals walking on rock-hard concrete in cages that are far too small. No water for them to bathe in, for example. And in the few cages that have water, it's so dirty and disgusting. Talk about torturing the animals, but you wouldn't expect anything else from a Russian "zoo" either. And why are the bushes and trees fenced in? It looks insane! And letting people take photos with lion and tiger cubs is such a disgusting thing to do. Do you also drug the cubs? Rebuild your park or donate the animals to real parks where animals can be animals and don't have to suffer in cages made of steel & concrete! Camels are so malnourished that you can see their ribs and humps are lying down. ANIMAL ABUSE!☠️🤬
Mikael D — Google review
Disappointing experience dealing with the "administration" of the park: they ignore emails for weeks! They refused to admit a journalist as if they are hiding something. At first, I was looking forward to visit the park and write a review , but after reading all these negative reviews and dealing with the unfriendly administration of the park (Tatyana), I am not so sure. I visited safari in Africa and numerous zoos and parks all over the world, but never delt with such unfriendly and unaccommodating "administration."

Oskar M — Google review
A wonderful choice for tourists. But it's not worth going here on a sunny and hot day. Lions in such weather rest in the shade and are not active. On a cloudy day, you can see many lions in their natural habitat. Quality decorations, pleasant music, guide brochures, cafes, and souvenir shops will not let you get bored. For an additional fee, you can literally touch the wild nature. Trade hands with these fierce predators. There are bins on the premises, so there's no need to litter.

Established in 1812, Nikitsky Botanical Gardens is a vast scientific complex dedicated to botanical research. Beyond amazing experience and must see while visiting Delta. Monument to Flooded Ships - the monument in Sevastopol, the emblem of the city. Installed on an artificial island in increments of roughly processed granite blocks, 10 meters from the beach at Primorskiy Boulevard. The monument is a column with Corinthian capitals, topped with a bronze double-headed eagle with open wings, holding in its beak a laurel wreath. The authors of the monument - Estonian sculptor AG Adamson and architect B. A. Feldman. The total height of the monument - 16,66 m. On the monument, on the wall of the embankment, reinforced anchor with submerged ships. The monument was established in 1905 to the fiftieth anniversary of the first defense of Sevastopol, which had been flooded with Russian sailing ship, «to zagradit login enemy ships to raid, and thus save Sevastopol» (P. Nakhimov). Flooded across the fairway first seven obsolete ships and in February 1855 when the South was left the party in the bay flooded and the rest of the fleet. Fire shore batteries and flooded boats did Sevastopol bay inaccessible to the Anglo-French fleet. At the memorial plate mounted in the monument, says: «In memory of the ships, submerged in the 1854-1855 year for the barrier entrance to the raid».

The Monument to the Sunken Ships (Памятник затопленным кораблям) is the symbol of the city of Sevastopol, on disputed Crimean peninsula. Located in the Sevastopol Bay. The monument was built in 1905 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Sevastopol. During that time, Admiral Nachimov blocked entry into the Sevastopol Gulf by sunken Russian military sailboats, making it impossible for enemy ships to fire the city from the sea. On September 11, 1854, seven older ships were sunk.

The Potemkin Stairs is a famous landmark in Odessa, known for its appearance in the silent film Battleship Potemkin. Built in the 19th century, this formal entrance to the city from the sea consists of 192 steps that create an illusion of greater length. From below, only the steps are visible, while from above, only the landings can be seen.
An evocative place to visit for fans of the "Battleship Potemkin" movie. Few tourists in these difficult times, although there is an occasional little red 'tourist train' passing. A nice view down to the port and the Black Sea beyond. In May 2024 the funicular wasn't working
Stephen P — Google review
It’s not so hard to accomplish that, guys! Especially when you’re hungry and you know that upstairs is food 😂 But, honestly, beautiful place with a nice view of the Sea Port and the sea itself. In the square up there are colorful buildings and nice historical monuments. And a bunch of cool restaurants and bars! 😉

One of the important places you must see in Odessa, don’t forget walking near forest, it is also near sea side, harbour, check around and take more pics, it is really suggested to visit. And there is a funicular train near stairs who doesn’t want to climb.

Definitely one of the must see places in Odessa! The sheer size of these monumental steps is amazing! And after the recent renovation they look even more beautiful. Also surrounded by new parks, right by the city center and also right by the Port. Perfect place to be!

A compulsory place to visit in Odessa. The most recognizable and at the same time one of the most crowded places. Personally, I thought they will be bigger and most impressive. But anyway the way upstairs is tiring. Beautiful view at the harbor. The stairs- a bit messy. I recommand to take the picture of them from the other side- there's a platform in the harbor.

Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, also known as the Lavra, is a UNESCO World Heritage-listed Orthodox Christian monastery complex in Kyiv. It features ornate religious buildings such as the Dormition Church, refectory, and bell tower. One of its main attractions is the network of underground catacombs where mummified remains of former monks are laid to rest.
As one of the seven wonders of Ukraine, this monastery is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site along with Saint Sophia Cathedral. Situated in Kiev, it is a monastic complex famed for its buried monks, spiritual atmosphere, and unique underground caves. Make sure you go up the stairs to enjoy a nice view over the city and panoramic view on the church from the towers.

A lot can be said about this place, but it is better to come and see everything yourself. It is difficult for me to imagine where else in the world there are so many historical buildings, caves, museums, icons in one territory. And indeed the place that is full of history. Just go to the free part, if you like it, you can come on Sunday and get into the "museum" part for free too.
Kir V — Google review
Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, also known as the Kyiv Monastery of the Caves, is one of Ukraine's most revered religious and cultural landmarks. Perched on the picturesque hills overlooking the Dnipro River in the Pechersk district of Kyiv, this UNESCO World Heritage site is a stunning example of Eastern Orthodox monastic architecture and a place of profound spiritual significance. Founded in 1051 by St. Anthony of Kyiv, the Lavra began as a humble cave monastery and grew into a vast complex of churches, bell towers, and subterranean catacombs. The history of Kyiv Pechersk Lavra is deeply intertwined with the spread of Christianity in the region, serving as a spiritual center for Eastern Orthodoxy and a cradle of monasticism in Kievan Rus. Over the centuries, it has been a focal point of religious life, attracting pilgrims from across the Orthodox world. The architectural beauty of Kyiv Pechersk Lavra is breathtaking. The complex is dominated by the Great Lavra Belltower, which soars to a height of 96.5 meters, making it one of the tallest bell towers in the world. The golden domes of the Dormition Cathedral, which was rebuilt after being destroyed during World War II, gleam in the sunlight, creating a striking contrast against the blue skies of Kyiv. The interior of the churches is adorned with exquisite frescoes, mosaics, and icons, reflecting the rich artistic tradition of the Orthodox Church. Beneath the Lavra's surface lies a network of catacombs, where the mummified remains of saints, monks, and notable figures from Ukrainian history are interred. These underground passages are a place of pilgrimage, with visitors coming to venerate the relics and experience the serene, otherworldly atmosphere of the caves. Culturally, Kyiv Pechersk Lavra is a symbol of Ukraine's religious heritage and national identity. It has played a crucial role in the preservation and dissemination of Orthodox Christian traditions, theological scholarship, and religious art. The Lavra continues to be an active monastery, home to a community of monks who maintain the centuries-old spiritual practices that have been passed down through generations. In addition to its religious significance, Kyiv Pechersk Lavra is a cultural treasure, hosting museums that display priceless artifacts, manuscripts, and religious objects. The site is not only a place of worship but also a center of learning, art, and history, embodying the spiritual and cultural legacy of Ukraine.

It’s not really “free” to enter but 100 UAH to pay. But of course it’s worth paying the amount as you’ll get to see amazing monastery with so many beautiful ornaments around. Do not miss the viewpoint as you’ll be able to see nice view under the river and to the war museum down south.

A very beautiful fountain with a fantastic evening light show that features fairy-tale story segments. Frankly, the graphics and storytelling of the fairy-tale aren't very impressive — however, the light show itself is mesmerisingly beautiful and definitely deserves your time of day. It's a good spot to visit with kids and family members. However, note that the show tends to attract a large crowd — so it'd be a good idea to bring your masks or try to find a spot where you can watch it from a distance. Overall we've had a great experience watching the show, and recommend to come see it at least once :)

Lychakiv Cemetery, a sprawling burial ground dating back to the 1700s, is a significant site in Lviv. The cemetery is home to the resting places of notable Ukrainians and has become a legacy and museum over time. Its winding paths lead visitors through beautiful tombs that are often compared to those at Pere-Lachaise cemetery in Paris.
One of the most interesting cemeteries I've ever visited. Tons and tons of huge headstones, all different designs, and even quite a few family tombs. Paweł K — Google review
Since the 1500s, Lviv’s most prominent figures have been laid to rest at this 40-hectare cemetery that has now been recognised as a national reserve. Lychakiv Cemetery is the equivalent to Père Lachaise or Highgate and is treasured not just for its prestigious burials but the quality of the art that commemorates them. Laid to rest here are Polish and Ukrainian members of the clergy, politicians, military leaders, scientists, architects (like Zygmunt Gorgolewski), soloists, aviators, surgeons and painters. For Poles the cemetery is poignant as the burial place of the Lwów Eaglets, young militia members who were killed during the Polish-Ukrainian War in 1918-1919.

Old Town Café is highly recommended to anyone who enjoys delectable salads and casseroles. The recent restoration has only enhanced the beauty of this place. Additionally, they have undergone a change in name and menu, now offering delicious Thai cuisine. It is definitely worth trying their excellent food at prices comparable to those found in the old town. The chef's culinary skills are exceptional, as evidenced by the mouthwatering soups and the exquisite duck served on a bed of vegetables.
Very tasty, home-style food at attractive prices

(Translated by Google) A revelation: quiet, slightly in front of the market square, i.e. peaceful, without overcrowding compared to what's happening in the restaurants on the market square, and most importantly, delicious food for reasonable money, with a nice atmosphere and wonderful service. I was there twice during my stay in Zamosc, once alone because I was the only one hungry, the rest had eaten at a pierogi shop earlier, which I didn't like, and I ate salmon soup and pork chop with fries and salads, I left feeling as full as a beetle and everything was fresh and delicious in a few days. again we were wondering what to eat and where, so I took my family to this particular restaurant, everyone left full, we didn't spend a fortune, it was delicious and nice, again I ate salmon soup, I really recommend it, it was a finger licking sensation, and the kids had chicken soup, spaghetti and pancakes, and my wife and everyone had dumplings with groats. satisfied and everyone liked it. If we are ever in Zamość again, we will definitely come for dinner. Pozdrawiamy Panie z Old Town Cafe

Upper Gate in the Old Town

Historic Walking Areas
The Upper Gate in the Old Town of Olsztyn is a 14th-century city gate that stands as the only remaining gate of the original three surrounding the city. This imposing Gothic structure dominates the area, offering a picturesque entry to the old town. The gate is currently undergoing renovations, but it remains a prime meeting place and an emblematic monument of Olsztyn.
Beautiful Beautiful town. Loved it here. Extremely neat, very relaxed slow paced vibe. Highly recommend

ZOO

The Wrocław Africarium is a large zoological garden and oceanarium that contains exhibits of over 1,000 different animals from Africa. It is one of the oldest working zoos in Poland, and open all year round. The zoo also has an exhibit devoted to the flora and fauna of the Dark Continent, which are unique on an international scale.
The Wrocław Zoo is absolutely amazing. The territory is huge, beautifully maintained, and full of animals from all around the world. One of the highlights is definitely the Afrykarium (aquarium) – breathtaking and worth the visit on its own. I spent about 4 hours walking through the entire area and covered roughly 8 km – that’s how big and impressive it is! There are plenty of toilets and food courts, which makes the visit convenient, especially for families. Prices for food and extras are on the higher side, but it’s definitely worth it for such a unique experience. For parents: renting a children’s wheeled cart costs 30 zł per day, which can be very helpful. Overall, an unforgettable experience and one of the top attractions in Wrocław. Highly recommended for everybody
Maritime B — Google review
I visited Wrocław Zoo on two separate occasions in September 2025 in order to make the most of my time in the city and the weather. I visit zoos across the world in order to photograph their animals, and would consider the one in Wrocław among the best. The zoo is well laid out, with many indoor houses and outdoor enclosures for species across the animal kingdom. The houses that most impressed me were the Terrarium (for reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates) and the Afrykarium for African fauna. The Terrarium is laid out over two floors (unfortunately not accessible to wheelchairs) and contains around 100 exhibits for animals ranging from tiny insects to crocodiles and giant tortoises. All of these are appropriate in size and conditions for their inhabitants. Many of the animals here can only be seen here in Europe, including some tiny colourful geckos from the Indian Ocean. I spent several hours in here on my two visits, photographing all the animals I could see. The Afrykarium takes you on a journey through the continent and its waters. The only deviation from this theme was to replace the rare African manatees with their slightly more common Caribbean relative, of which I could see five individuals swimming in their tank. Other inhabitants include penguins, fur seals, sharks, hippopotamus, aardvarks, and elephant shrews. The building is accessible to wheelchairs with a few elevators, but one was out of service on my visit. Other notable exhibits include the bird house, with its many rare species, Pallas’s cats, and olive baboons. Overall I recommend a visit to anyone interested in birds, endangered species, unusual reptiles, or just animals in general.

I absolutely loved my visit to the Wrocław Zoo! It’s one of the most beautiful and well-organized zoos I’ve ever been to. The animals look healthy and well cared for, and the enclosures are clean and spacious. The Afrykarium is a must-see — it feels like stepping into another world! 🐠🐧 There are plenty of places to relax, grab a snack, and enjoy the atmosphere. Perfect for families, couples, or just a peaceful walk surrounded by nature and animals. Highly recommend visiting! 🌿🐘🦓

Truly amazing experience! The Wrocław Zoo is much bigger than I expected and incredibly well kept. You can really see that the animals are healthy, well fed, and properly cared for — everything feels very natural and clean. There are so many different species to see, and the Afrykarium is just breathtaking! The only small downside is that not every section has English translations, but honestly, it didn’t stop us from enjoying it at all. It’s a wonderful place for both kids and adults — definitely one of the best zoos I’ve ever visited. Highly recommended!
Emil T — Google review
Great value for ticket cost, 176zł (£36.05 for x2 ticket, £18 per person). So many animals, a lot to see, indoor aquarium was amazing and tunnel under the sharks and rays was a highlight. Hot dogs from cafe at beginning were great, little expensive compared to other places (48zł for x2 hot dogs, x1 cola, x1 water, £8.82. Each hot dog at 12zł (£2.45) compared to 8.99zł (£1.84) for hot dogs and cola bottle elsewhere). Gift shop closed hour before zoo closed so missed out on getting any items from there sadly
Olive S — Google review
Absolutely stunning—easily one of the best zoos I’ve ever been to, and I’ve seen quite a few. Massive grounds, an incredible variety of animals, and more than enough to fill an entire day. A definite must-visit if you’re in Wroclaw.
Stefan B — Google review
Great ZOO with quite a long history! I'd especially recommend pavilon with manatees (there is not very many places to see those in Europe) and very nice terrarium. There is an underground parking nearby, so you can leave your dog in the car without worries even if it's hot outside. Very worth visiting once you are in Wroclaw!
Petr H — Google review
An incredible zoo with lots to see including an aquarium. The zoo covers a huge area and it’s really enjoyable to explore the grounds and buildings on site. Highly recommend a visit and would suggest half a day to explore as a minimum.

Wrocław Central Bus Station

Mentioned on

Wrocław Central Bus Station is a vital hub for travelers looking to explore not just the city but also broader Europe. With bus line 106 running every 15 minutes to both the Central Railway Station and the bus station, getting around is a breeze, taking about 40-50 minutes depending on traffic conditions. While some visitors may find it more of a transit point than a destination in itself, they do appreciate certain amenities like Wi-Fi access and clean restroom facilities.
It was easy to find my Flixbus here!! 🙂
Mikael R — Google review
Nowhere to sit while you wait. People are standing around in the adjacent shopping centre. The toilets are unventilated. You really feel like a second class citizen when you take the bus here. There should be basic facilities like decent toilets, seats and some tea/coffee/newspaper kiosk.

The entrance is a bit confusing. Yes, its on the first floor of Wroclavia, first floor, north-east part iirc

(Translated by Google) I didn’t have time to appreciate all the delights, so I can’t give it five stars. It was a transfer station along the road. What interested me: the toilet room and wi-fi)) With Wi-Fi, everything is more or less, at least at the Flix bus stop. Features of visiting the toilet: if you want to pay with a card (and I wanted to, because I’m passing through, I don’t have zlotys), then you’ll have to go to the ticket office 🙂 To the regular one, where they sell tickets. She's not far away. I'm lucky. There were only two people in front of me who were buying tickets somewhere. It’s good that it didn’t last long and my situation wasn’t critical😅 so everything is fine (Original)

(Translated by Google) The station looks nice and is well-located, right under the shopping mall and close to the train station. However, the toilet is a disgrace. It's 8 a.m. on a Sunday morning, and it's dirty, smelly, and filthy. The toilet is generally very dilapidated and neglected. Plus, they charge you 3 złoty for using this place. 🫣 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the station. Less than ZERO ⭐️ for the disgusting magpie.
