Nice place with very friendly staff and a very good coffee place. The go-carts are in a good condition. The only negative is that it is little bit too pricey. Spending 100 euro for 10 min for 4 people is too much. It would be worth it if the setup was different. Starting with a warm up of 5 min for example, deciding a pole position and then racing for 15 minutes. This is the setup that would be worth the money.

Had a really fun time at Motodrom Porec, but be vigilant! I’m normally a superior driver out on the roads, surpassing the speed limit and often finding myself in the need to honk at idiot drivers. So imagine my surprise when a few racers actually managed to beat me. Makes you wonder… do the karts differ? I mean, even a great driver can’t do much if they’re stuck in a Haas while others are in McLarens. Broken ego aside, the track was great, the bear was cold and the crowd was full of good looking guys 🫣😜

Great place to visit. Approach to the tracks (October 2025) is available only through approx. 1 kilometer of macadam road (gravel) due to works on the nearby roads. Once there the personnel is very friendly and professional. Tracks available according to the age and driving experience. Additional playgrounds and zip-line available for kids and family. Went there and enjoyed it very much. Great place to visit. Thx.

Motodrom Poreč is a fun, well-run go-kart track just outside town—great for families or anyone craving a bit of speed. The karts are fast, the staff is friendly, and there are extra activities like paintball and quads if you want to make a day of it. A bit pricey for short rides, but totally worth it if you go all in.

Separated tracks for family and children. Nice go-carts, in more power class. Double carts on every track so you can take your child on adrenaline adventure! My size is 3xl+ but i fitted in the cart too. Price is fair, nice service!

Very interesting cave that goes down 60 meters. Lots of stalagmites, stalactites, columns and other mineral formed cave features. The guide was very easy to understand and funny. The highlight was the human fish (Olm/aquatic salamander) at the bottom. I was able to get some great pictures of it. There is plenty of free parking and it was easy to get to from Rovinj by car. There is also a cave museum as part of the entry and a café for food and drinks. Highly recommend.

Small, but beautiful. If you're in the area, great opportunity to take some very nice photos and see proteus in person. The girl at the cash register was wonderful, going above and beyond to orchestrate our visit (2 adults with a big dog that couldn't enter) and the formation of groups so that we can go one after the other with no waiting time nor overlap, so one person was with the dog while the other was in the cave, and neither had to wait for too long. My guide (Ana) was embodiment of patience and calm, effortlessly switching between languages and answering all the extra questions. Lighting showcases the best of mineral formations (a lamp strategically placed behind one of "elephant's ears", for example, shows a streak of red pigment within the otherwise milky white mineral). Steep and wet, not good for people on wobbly legs. Temperature inside the first 3 or 4 rooms actually a bit higher than the advertised 14°C; on a hot day it felt refreshing rather than cold. Plenty of parking under the shade of trees and large covered sitting area. Bar right next to the cave entrance, serves good coffee and real homemade lemonade.

Very fascinating inside view of a very deep cave close to Poreč. The guide takes you deep down in the cave where you can even see an old. A blind axleottle like animal that lives only in the deep caves of this area.

Grotto Baredine is a cave full of stagmites and stalactites. To enter the cave you need to join a guided tour, so probably worth checking in advance for the times of tours in your preferred language. There are approximately 270 steps down into the cave as you move through each of the five chambers with your guide. The cave is pretty wide, but some of the steps/staircases are steep and wet so care should be taken. At the bottom of the cave live two olm salamanders. Worth visiting.

Great and funny guided tour, not too heavy, not exausting, especially in combination with old tractor exibition and other one, geological exibition at the same place. Super food and drink and souveneer offers, not expensive at all. Nice nature all around and some qnimals for kids too.

Nice cave. Not the biggest one but worth visiting. The queue for the tickets can be 30 mins long and then you can wait 2h before you go inside, but they give you exact time. You can visit tractor museum in the mean time.

Great experience for young and 'old'. Well organised and great team of people. Large parking next to it at the designated adress of this experience. You just need to drive down on the LEFT side of the building. We went at opening around 10 o'clock. By 11.30 it was getting crowded and parking almost full. When paying, you are designated to a group, which also estimates the time it will be your turn. Next, the teamleaders call your group in order to equip and secure you. Enjoy and thrust the professionals 👍

Fun and adrenaline! Exceeded our expectations. Two ziplines over the Pazin cave, amazing view as you go over it. 5 min walk back to the starting point. Fantastic team! Friendly and welcoming staff. It was an interesting experience. I arrived late, so I only had time to join the zip line. You can book in advance to take part in other exciting activities.

Great experience. Very safe. Professional personell so you don't have fear of anything bad could happen. :) These days is very crowded becsuse of tourists. So if you can choose your time better come at the beginning of september. We had to wait 2 hours for our turn.

The zipline was a lot of fun, and the staff were very nice and informative. There are only two lines though, so the experience doesn't last long.

Great Adventure and very friendly and funny staff. There was a mix up with our reservation, but a they organized quickly a third guide so that we could also join the tour. There are two ziplines in the cave and that was a lot of fun. Also a lot of rock climbing, but not too dangerous. We had help from the tour guides when needed. Absolutely great tour with interesting information about the cave, earlyer expeditions etc. A moment in absolute darkness was a highlight, too.

The Tour guide was really nice and also always available if some Problems occured. The Tour took about 2½ Hours to complete and was very Interesting. There are also Frogs.

A very well done tour! We enjoyed it with our teenagers (17 & 14). Another family with 8 and 10 year olds did too. Some light climbing which requires good balance as well as two short zip lines in the cave round up the adventure. Great guides 👍!

Fantastic program! Exciting, special. The tour is led by two friendly experts. We get a helmet. During the entire tour, you have to step over rocks, climb, and in some places there is also a rope belay. The rocks are slippery and require a little skill. You cross the rocks and the water twice on a short wire rope course. In the depths of the cave, you see experience an interesting presentation on a tablet, and then you can feel the experience of real darkness. You can only see it with expert.

I booked this Speleo adventure for myself and my son. We booked with 24 hours notice. Mladen was fantastic at responding and communicating by email to book up. We paid in cash at the end of the activity. Our guides, George and Jakob were brilliant. They were very knowledgeable, charming and skillful at guiding us, making us feel safe and interested throughout. I would thoroughly recommend this activity. It was good value too for the time spent. My son and I were very happy. Book up with email in advance, but it's likely not much notice is required if you can be a little flexible.

Very informative and adventurous cave tour. We were late but the guides were very patient with us and didn’t hurry us. The cave is quite humid and thus quite slippery so the guides always watch out for us and give us helpful tips. We learned a lot and also had fun exploring this cave without any electricity. Highly recommended!!

Fun experience, amazing scenery and lovely guides.

The staff is friendly and the place is cosy. A good casino overall but most of their slots are about pre-historic so the park really begs for some more new machines.

Tried to get into the casino on a slow wednesday evening. There were 20 people in line and only 1 person at the desk. Every person took 1.5 minutes. I gave up after the 3rd. This must be the first casino in the world that let's you wait until you can get in.

I’m not a fan of casinos, but this one really has a special atmosphere.

Sad place. If you intend to go there and have fun, it is not recommended. It needs ventilation first, and then it needs huge improvement of the atmosphere. Like this, only a few obviously regular customers with red eyes and strong believe that they will win the next round, are not a nice sight.

Portorož Central Beach is very nice and well kept, with plenty of space and good facilities. The sand and swimming areas are clean, and the promenade adds to the lively atmosphere. The water wasn’t quite as crystal clear as you might see on postcards, but still pleasant for swimming. It does get crowded, especially in peak season, similar to the Italian Riviera, so expect a busy beach experience. They proudly say the water here is among the cleanest in Europe, and overall it’s a great spot to enjoy the sea, sun, and lively coastal vibe.

Portoroz was upmarket, Piran was the better town. With an excellent guided tour and pretty squares and a lovely coast line.

Amazing views over the sea and the town. Cheap entry, only costs €3 per person. It is well worth the walk and the visit. There are a lot of steep steps to climb the towers but the view is great and it is a unique experience.

The tickets were so cheap, we had a great view of the city from the tower, a bit small for tall people such as myself but nevertheless it was great

Best 3 Euros spent. Not only is it interesting to explore the walls of the former fortress that protected Piran from enemies approaching it from the landslide, it also has the very best views of Piran to offer. For an obstructed view it’s best to go to almost the end of the wall and be careful on the ladders and stairs, it’s easy to hit your head !

Beautiful church with a lot of history! The interior is quite stunning and definitely worth visiting. I attended a mass and there was a choir that sang so beautifully that you could literally feel the connection to God. I also went to look for a birth certificate of my grandfather and the priests and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Beautiful cathedral, next to Castle de San Giusto, worth a visit. No problem if you have mobility issue coz there's a lift from parking area and electric bus too.

It is always interesting when there is something unique in all these religious temples. Here you can see from the pictures that the dome has very interesting and not so common ornaments and design.

The square looks impressive, the buildings around it architectural masterpieces. However, I didn't get a sense of the scale and spaciousness of the square. My wife and I visited the square on the closing day of the annual regatta (Barcolana). The entire space was filled with decorations, advertising banners, and prefabricated stalls selling food and beer. It was very noisy, crowded everywhere, but fun.

A beautiful place!! A huge plus is that there weren't masses of tourists so the square was really clear. The view is immersive!! 🤩 All the buildings look amazing. 🌟

It is a big flat old stone dock. Great to walk once or twice, be aware that there is no shade in the 37c sun and little room to sit. It was enjoyable to see the Adriatic sea and look at any big ships docked but nothing else.

A beautiful big square facing the Adriatic Sea with 3 impressive palace buildings and a fountain. This is the seat of the local government for the city and the region. The square is used for concerts and parades and large civic events. Many famous music artists have played here including Green Day, Duran Duran, Carlos Santana, Iron Maiden, Garbage, Mike and Snoop Dogg

Trieste’s Unity of Italy Square is one of the most beautiful squares in Europe — a grand open space facing the Adriatic Sea. The view is breathtaking, especially at sunset. It’s home to some elegant cafés, including a very famous one, though the prices match the view :)

The cult bridge of Trieste. Once upon a time, it was a meeting place for merchants. The bridge itself is not impressive and special, but its historical significance when you know the connotation is.

Romantic memories from our grand 70'&80' when we visited this area monthly. Not the same place anymore, but we had an excellent lunch there. Love Trieste

The caves are worth seeing, although it is quite dark inside (for good reasons), and a lot of detail can't be seen. There are hundreds of steps, mostly going down inside the cave. Once the guided tour was completed, I took the exit to the left which includes two options, a 30 minute path or a one hour path. The one hour path was fantastic. There are so many points of interest worth capturing on camera, especially a waterfall. The end of the path was all up hill, with many elongated steps. The rest is along a road back to the parking lot. The morning was all sold out if tickets were not bought in advance. The afternoon was less busy. A free museum of how the explorers found and traversed the cave is under the information centre. A gift shop, cafe and large seating area was available inside and out.

Amazing, monumental, huge and much less commercial and crowded cave than postojna. I really recommend this one for people who want to experience one of the most amazing cave of the world. The amount of space, of the water and beauty inside is just overwhelming. Parking is free, same with toilets. The pace was just a little too fast for people who are less than average sporty. Overall 10/10 Important information: you absolutely cannot take photos inside

Grand. On one level just a large cave complex (dry side) but then the river cuts through the cave and its is magnificent and huge (and for me terrifying). Guide was good and nice to have some time for exploring. Be warned, lots of walking.

Stunning. We were actually unsure before the tour, and it's true you have very little choice during the tour but follow guide and group like a sheep, especially if there are many people like when we visited. But at the same time this cave system is breathtaking. Of course I would enjoy a different way of visiting, slower, with more time, less people. But if that's the only way it's still worth it! But you should be afraid of heights ;) The information at the Park are actually very poor, the information center was already closed before our tour ended, that was a bit disappointing..

I absolutely love caves and visit them anywhere in the world that I can, but this is amazing. It's huge inside. Also the extra walk after the cave tour is equally as good as the cave itself. Spend the extra hour and take the extra steps to make the trip worth it.

Awe inspiring cave that is a UNESCO site. There is a massive gorge with a river running through it that is like something out of the Mines of Moria. This is an absolute must visit if in beautiful Slovenia. You can’t take photos inside the main caverns only on the outside areas.

Beneath the surface lies a hidden world of wonder. Just across the border in Slovenia, a country of breathtaking nature, mountains, and castles, you'll find a place of incredible beauty and astonishing statistics: Škocjan Caves. This UNESCO World Heritage site is home to one of the largest underground canyons on the planet. Carved by the Reka River, this massive canyon, up to 140 meters high in some places, is a spectacle to behold. The sheer scale is mind-boggling, with the incredible Martel Chamber, one of the largest cave rooms in the world, boasting a volume of 2.2 million cubic meters. Walking through the canyon, you'll cross the Cerkvenik Bridge, suspended 47 meters above the river, and witness other wonders like the 15-meter-tall "Giant" stalagmite. The castle is amazing, get the free audio guide and listen to the detailed history of the castle as you walk through it. We drove to the castle and parking is a bit of a hassle, some free others you need to pay for. You can drive right up and do a loop to see what parking near is available.

The castle always amazes me with its grandeur and power. I like that they offer an interactive guide (it's a shame that there isn't one in Postojna Cave). The downside is that they charge for the guides, which I've never experienced anywhere else in Europe - even in Postojna Cave. But I definitely recommend anyone who wants to visit a castle to visit it, you won't be disappointed.

Gorgeous setting for a castle. Would have easily stayed outside of it having a coffee and contemplating rather than paying and coming in, but either way don't miss it!

A different type of castle, picturesque and quaint. Has been used as a backdrop for movies and TV series. The parking is a bit of a trek away from the castle. There is free WiFi, and the castle has a free downloadable audio guide, which is quite detailed and helpful. Lots of climbing up stairs involved. The view from the castle balconies is awesome.

The most incredible castle in the side of a cliff! I cannot believe people are saying not to bother with it - it’s incredible! Really worth a visit, the audio guide available on your phone is convenient and informative! I was blown away, must visit!

Very cool castle, carved in stone. Nice rooms that come with a lot of explanations. You can park there and believe me, this is something you should not miss.

Postojna Cave Ticket Store – A Smooth Start to an Incredible Journey Purchasing tickets at Postojna Cave was a seamless and pleasant experience that set the tone for the adventure ahead. The ticket store is located right next to the main entrance, easy to find, and well-organized. Even with a steady flow of visitors, everything moved efficiently thanks to clear signage and helpful staff. Although online booking is also available and highly recommended during busy periods. The staff were welcoming, spoke excellent English, and explained the different ticket options, including combo packages that cover additional sights like Predjama Castle. What I appreciated most was the detailed information provided at the ticket counter — they explain the tour timings, meeting points, and even suggest how to plan extra activities if you have more time in the area. It made organizing our visit stress-free. The standard cave ticket includes an exciting electric train ride and a guided walking tour. While the live guides are very knowledgeable, the audio guide available in multiple languages is also an excellent option. I found the audio guide particularly helpful for getting deeper insights without feeling rushed, and it allows you to enjoy the magical surroundings at your own pace. Overall, the Postojna Cave ticketing experience was extremely professional, friendly, and efficient. It’s clear they care about making every visitor’s experience smooth from the very beginning — an excellent introduction to one of Slovenia’s greatest natural wonders.

Caves are stunning as well as Predjamski castle. Shuttle bus to the castle start at 10am although castle is open from 9am. Timetable isn't on the web site.

This is such a nice little castle. Beautiful on the outside and very well taken care of on the inside. I had somewhat of a private tour since I was the only one and the girl great. Her English was great and she knew so much about the castle. Any question I had about the castle or one of the items…all answered in a split second. It was a great tour! Thank you so much (took the tour on monday 10th of July 2023 at 13.00…don’t remember her name anymore, but if you read this: you were great!)

Romantic castle Snežnik. There are few castles that are equipped with original furniture from the 19th century. The atmosphere that dominates the castle will easily take you back to that time, when its owners used it as a summer residence. Snežnik Castle can only be visited with a guide. The tours start at every penalty hour during working hours and last a little less than an hour. ticket is €8 for adults

Since my last visit some years ago little has changed, ok there is now a cafe, but don't ask them for a nice ice-coffee because they don't have a clue how to make one. My biggest disappointment is that there is hardly any signs there where is what. Most disturbing is the lack of signs for the parking place. Someone even drove the car straight in front of the entrance of the castle, robbing every visitor of making a nice picture of the majestic castle entrance. I don't know who could be so inconsiderate to place his dirty old car just in front of it while there were signs not to drive in that alley and there were enough places between the trees further down where there should be signage for parking space. Because of its distant location from other places, to get there and see a pearl of history so neglected for so many years it hurts and makes you think that nobody in the near vicinity cares about their cultural and historical background.

Cool castle hidden in the woods. Great hidden gem.

Snežnik Castle is a truly charming location, home to one of the most beautiful castles in Slovenia. Surrounded by peaceful nature, it also offers a lovely 20-minute walking trail that makes the whole experience even more magical.

This castle is in a beautiful place, surrounded by nature. Guided tours are available and it's worth to visit the interior of the castle for its well preserved furniture. My partner and I took a guided tour in English on July 29th. The guide was very friendly and we learned a lot about the castle's history. The castle's furniture transport you back in time to the days when the castle was still in use by its owners. Highly recommended.

An amazing day walking the same route as prehistoric cave bears :) For a last-minute plan to visit Križna jama, we easily managed to get on the daily 1-1.5 hour tour on a Saturday. Longer tours are available but these should be booked in advance. Our tour was in English and our guide Gašper was brilliant, funny and informative. The guides' passion for the cave is evident in how they educate visitors and protect the cave from over-tourism.

Brilliant caves, our tour guide was excellent and gave us lots of info. The boat ride was lovely. There are longer experiences available too but the basic 90 min was perfect for us but would definitely do a longer tour next time

A visit to Krizna Jama Bear Caves is a must! Our guide, Tanja, was excellent - so informative and truly engaging. She brought the history and unique features of this unspoilt cave system to life. Learning about the bears and seeing their bones was fascinating Exploring the natural beauty, untouched by excessive tourism, was a real highlight. I highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting the region.

I recently visited Križna Cave and took the short 2-hour tour. It was an interesting experience, but with such a short time, you only get a brief taste of the cave’s atmosphere. It’s enough to decide whether you enjoy this kind of underground adventure — the silence, the darkness, the underground river, the boat ride, the feeling of being in another world. If you really want to experience the cave and see more of its hidden beauty, I’d recommend the longer 4-hour tour. And for true adventure seekers, there’s even a 7-hour extreme tour — not for everyone, but from what I’ve heard, it’s absolutely unforgettable.

Your lasted for 1 hr 15 mins and the tour guide was fantastic. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Cave itself was amazing, our favourite part was the boat ride which despite being pretty short was still very memorable. If we went there again, we would definitely look for the longer version of a tour to the Bear Cave.

Insane experience. We took the path to the Bear Tunnel and we could see hundreds of bear bones. Our guide Tanja was very informative and caring. She found a bear tooth in the path but respectfully hid it later as naturally it is not permitted to take anything from the cave. If you don’t have reservation, try your luck and maybe they will find a spot for you next day as we did. Cheers

The very best one can expect from visiting a cave. The guided 4 hours tour is sensational. The crew strive to keep the cave untouched in the same condition as it was thousands years ago. The trip is therefore at different orbit compared to most crowded ones

Pulsing river of Ljubljana city. There are dozens of bridges and some of them are really interesting from architectonic point of view. This river also offers possibility for a boat trip. We haven't tried it but maybe next time. The river is crossed so many times...

In autumn, the river is one of many in Europe. In summer, however, it stands out from the gray of mundaneity and becomes a very important tourist center in Ljubljana. I adore this river and its cruises.

Charming place with plenty of bars, cafés and small pretty places to explore. Highly recommended. Ljubljana is a wonderful City, with wonderful people and excellent gastronomic options.

I simply love this place. The whole city is amazing as are the people! So beautiful and picturesque there is just something simple yet mysterious about this place If there is one pls d to add to your “must see before I die” list then this is it! We spent the day at Lake Bled coming off a cruise ship was its a side trip to this city and were blown away by what we saw Suggest taking a tour group to see the place for a greater appreciation of the historical significance of many landmark places here. Ours was amazing ! TRIVIA - And if you look through my photos you will find a face built into the door out of brass. It was traditional for the architect to build his own face into such structures back in the day!! Enjoy!

I'm disappointed. It's not worth the 15 euros. The only thing you have to pay for is to climb the flag tower. All the exhibition halls contain mostly textual information that can be found on Wikipedia. So, essentially, you can come here for free, stroll around the castle square without a ticket, and enjoy the tour. The castle grounds are also beautiful. I recommend walking up the hill instead of taking the funicular. It's a good workout! And be prepared to pay for the restrooms, even if you have a ticket. Overall, it's worth a visit, but without buying a ticket.

The history of a fortess on this site go back to the 11th century but the castle that stands here today was built under Frederick III of Habsburg as a stronghold against the Ottoman Empire. The beautiful decorated St George's Chapel dates from this time. It was extensively renovated over decades using lots of concrete as you can see all around. There is not much to be seen of the old csstle. Left and right were some interesting details like the old prison and the small armoury. When you climb the tower via the double red winding stairs you get a nice view over the city. Entry to the castle is easiest with the funicular which is included in the ticket price.

A historic castle overseeing the City of Ljubljana. The view is absolutely splendid and one can have a 360 view of the whole City from the viewpoints at the castle walls. It's well maintained with little museums located within the castle. There's also a wine bar and a lovely restaurant. One can choose to walk up to the place or simply take a funicular ride to the top. There's also a small parking lot right in front of the entry door to the castle.

Easy to get to ...funicular is a 1 minute ride. Castle is now theater. galleries, museum, restaurant plus the castle itself with nice viewing tower. Area of improvement is the signage. As the signs were not clear I just couldn't find the puppet museum which was the main reason of my visit.

Great views and atmosphere - but pricey if you’re going inside! Ljubljana Castle is definitely worth walking up to, even if you don’t buy the ticket. I didn’t go inside, but the views from the outside areas, the courtyard, and the paths around the hill are fantastic for photos, especially near sunset. The castle itself looks beautiful and well-preserved, and the walk up is quick and enjoyable. The only downside is the €15 ticket price (as of Nov 2025), which feels a bit high compared to similar castles. I’m guessing it’s partly because it includes the funicular and helps support ongoing renovations and events - but still, it’s a lot if you just want a short visit. Overall, a must-see spot for views and atmosphere, even without paying to enter.

The city's most important attraction. It's impressive. From the top of the castle tower, we can admire the city panorama. The ticket price includes entry to the tower and exhibition hall, as well as a ride down the funicular. I highly recommend it.

This is a charming square that is the starting point for all the streets and alleys of the old city. There are lots of charming restaurants around with a relaxed atmosphere along the banks of the river. The beauty and cultural richness are evident from every angle. It's fun to wander and get lost here.

Prešeren Square is one of the most beautiful and lively places in Ljubljana. It’s surrounded by charming architecture and connected to the famous Triple Bridge (Tromostovje), which adds a unique and picturesque touch to the area. The square is impressively clean and well-maintained, making it a pleasant spot for a walk or a break. There are many cozy cafes around where you can sit, relax, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. The place is always full of life, with both locals and tourists passing by, which gives it a special, dynamic energy. Definitely a must-visit when in Slovenia!

1 | Prešernov trg is the central square of Ljubljana, named after the Slovenian national poet France Prešeren, whose statue stands at its center. Surrounded by important landmarks like the Franciscan Church and Triple Bridge, the square is a key meeting point and pedestrian hub in the city. 2 | A unique attraction in the square is "The Area with Ljubljana's Own Weather." It’s a spot in the middle of the round square where it’s always raining, and there’s even a traffic sign warning you about it. There aren’t many trees or shade in the square, so it gets really hot in the summer. The city addressed this by installing a water mist system. One of the artists then placed a traffic sign next to the wet pavement featuring an umbrella and a cloud. 3 | The square also features the Statue of France Prešeren, a Slovenian poet who stirred quite a bit of controversy in the first half of the 19th century. The statue itself has also been controversial, as it includes a depiction of a bare female chest. This is visible from the church in the square, which didn’t sit well with church officials. 4 | The square is definitely worth a visit — if you’re staying in Ljubljana for a few days, you’ll likely pass through it more than once. On summer evenings, you’ll often see street performers there, and the most popular one is the guy with the giant soap bubbles.

St. Nicholas’ Church in Ghent is really impressive! This old stone church stands tall in the city center, looking strong and beautiful. Inside, the high ceilings and big stained-glass windows are so pretty. The organ is huge and cool to see, even if it’s not playing. It’s free to enter, which is awesome, and it’s not too crowded. The history feels alive with all the old details around you. I loved the calm and peaceful vibe inside. It’s great for a quick visit to soak in some beauty and history. The location makes it easy to stop by while exploring Ghent. Definitely worth checking out!

Originally built as a Romanesque cathedral in the 13th century, St. Nicholas Cathedral was rebuilt after a major fire in its current Baroque style in the early 1700s.

This has to be one of the most beautiful cathedral in Slovenia? Beautiful paintings and the interior is superb! I was recommended by a stranger to visit and we did , entrance fee is €3 per person and definitely worth it

Unfortunately, we couldn't get ilas it was closed for tourists on that exact day, so I couldn't compare to other to other cathedrals. The outside architecture isn't that impressive (in my opinion), but there were some interesting ornaments and details.

Worth it for the 3 euros entry fee. Note that it is open during certain times of specific days. For Sunday's it's open from 10 to 1 and 4.45 to 8 (around that time)

What a magnificent cathedral with such rich history. The inside of the church was simply magnificent. The place also had a lot of peace, calm and serenity to offer to connect and say thank you with gratitude to whichever Gods or religion you pray to

Great central location, great service. The staff were very responsive to help us with any issues. The room is compact and comfortable. The kitchen is a bit of a tight squeeze but is well equipped.

Great location and great price. Everything you'd need. The bedroom is separate to the main room and it has a kitchenette, it is centrally located too with a large choice of bars and restaurants close by. Even though they are close we never had any noise problems. I don't think I would go back to Ljubljana again as I think I have experienced everything it has to offer but if I did go back I would stay here again.

U will not find a better location for a city tour. Great starting place for exploring the city, especially old town. Yet, noise levels at night are very low. No problem getting sleep here. We had Appartment 2 - it had everything we hoped for.

An absolutely fairytale-like spot, with scenery that feels almost Swiss — at times even Norwegian. The valley is breathtaking, with sharp color contrasts and sweeping mountain views. There’s plenty of space to walk around or ride a bike, and the road leads straight to the waterfall trail, which is an easy 15-minute walk. Definitely a place where you’ll want to linger, because the views are just unreal.

10€ per car for entry. The various parking spaces within the valley are then included. Worth it if you take the time to enjoy the valley. Take the time to walk the various trails, have some local food and see Rinka Waterfall at the end, or perhaps climb further to the mountains from there. Saw some cute highland cows too.

Very nice place, if tou fo with car you have to pay a ticket, we paid 10 euro for 2 persons and car, there is also a verry nice waterfall. You have to go on the trail fkr 15 20 min but deffinetly worth it

You pay 10€ to access the national park, you can't walk outside the path, no bikes, everything super strict and that's super fine. But in the middle of the national park, near Hotel Plesnik, a really bad stink coming from open dumpsters and an open sewer.

Loved the nature here. Everything looks so beautiful and organised. Will highly recommend to anyone who loves hiking.

There are plenty of quiet spots to relax, swim, or take a walk along the shore. Perfect for couples, families, or anyone looking to unwind in nature. Highly recommended – we would love to come back again!

Here are 2 of the best trails around: 1. Wörthersee Rundwanderweg • Distance: 55 kilometers • Difficulty: Moderate • Duration: 12-14 hours (can be split over multiple days) This is the most famous trail around Wörthersee, circling the entire lake. The trail offers breathtaking views of the lake from various vantage points and passes through charming villages such as Velden, Pörtschach, and Maria Wörth. You can explore forests, hills, and lakeside paths. The trail is well-marked and can be done in stages, making it accessible for all levels. 2. Pyramidenkogel Trail • Distance: 10 km • Difficulty: Moderate • Duration: 3-4 hours This trail leads to the Pyramidenkogel, a 100-meter-high wooden observation tower that offers 360-degree views of Wörthersee and the surrounding region. The hike starts in Reifnitz and takes you through scenic forests before reaching the summit. The ascent is a bit challenging, but the panoramic views from the top make it worth the effort. You can also take an elevator down after exploring the tower.

I love this lake. We go here every other summer, and I can’t be more happy here. I would definitely recommend a stay in Klagenfurt, but also in Velden!

A hidden gem 💎 yet to have international tourists invasion .. the west side of the lake is nicer with a lot to restaurants and options

A turquoise blue lake, mountain views and lush green nature. Wörthersee is a place which makes you to feel relaxed from the beginning. I think the only problem is that all the lakesides are surrounded by private beaches and hotels. However, there are lakeside locations that you can access for free. Especially Velden is an ideal town for having a walk and having a nice meal.

Beautiful place where you can enjoy a clean lake view with a walking track at one side. Lots of water sports activities and boat cruises are also available but only during summer. In winter everything stands still except 2-3 restaurants. We visited in winter so we witnessed Very few tourists and an ample amount of locals walking on the track and too many senior citizens (old to very old) were there.

I must say I was quite impressed by this place. It's not very big, but it's really beautiful. The tickets are affordable and, if you're in Klagenfurt, I think it's worth seeing. There's also a coffee shop inside if you want to have a drink or something to eat. I highly recommend it!

We had a really nice trip. We went around the world in three hours and had a fantastic time. We all enjoyed it, my husband and I, but also our children. The weather was warm and sunny so we were really lucky to walk around the park, enjoy and take pictures. This is my big recommendation for all parents because it is guaranteed to be a good, beautiful and useful time. The park is excellently and creatively done, there is an inner and outer part of Minimundus as well as a big wheel. There is also a gift shop with souvenirs and a restaurant where we had lunch.

Nice experience. Big free parking in front. Adult ticket was 21€. The park is not too big, not too small. You need 2 to 3 hours to see everything. The mini replicas are very detailed. The plants, flowers and grass are all curated in a way to fit into context of the minimundus. Many of the replicas are animated... mini trains travel around, crains loading containers on cargo ship, wind mills, water mills, space shuttle... everything moves. Really nice. There is also a bar and restaurant inside if you get thirsty or hungry and a panoramic wheel if you are not affraid of hights. Recommended.

Minimundus: A World Tour in Two Hours! If you're ever in Klagenfurt, Austria, you absolutely must visit Minimundus. It was definitely worth the day spent there, especially with kids! It's an incredibly educational and engaging place where you can literally travel the world in about two hours, viewing hundreds of perfect miniature models of famous buildings and landmarks. The models are so nicely maintained, and the entire park is designed to be easily accessible and fun for all ages. I highly recommend carving out some time for this unique experience—it’s the perfect way to spark curiosity and learn about global architecture and geography!

Beautiful place for families and as adults we enjoyed it very much, too. Only missing part is Something from Slovakia. For example Blue Church would be beautiful miniature.

What a novelty! Really fascinating especially because they use original materials as much as possible. The detail is incredible and I appreciate the informative signage and moving parts - for example an elevator in the Eiffel Tower and a space shuttle “launch”. Walked around for about an hour with a friend and enjoyed the sunshine. Almost no one else there on a weekday.

Lovely small town in Austria with nice people and architecture. We stayed for a night while traveling Austria and were surprised with quality of experience we had here. Small but very well maintained, with all beauty of old buildings and churches. Lovely place for a walk, bite and sip. Would be definitely coming back for more 🙏🏻

Warmest lake of Austria!(IMHO) Klopeiner See, located in Carinthia, is one of Austria’s warmest and sunniest lakes, making it a popular destination for both locals and tourists. Klopeiner See has a lively, welcoming atmosphere while still offering spots to escape the crowds, making it a great blend of relaxation and recreation. Unfortunately many beautiful Austrian lakes are surrounded with fences and is therefore impossible to access them unless you pay a high entrance fee.

This is the warmest of all Carithian lakes, and for sure the most friendly one of you are looking for a swim fin with your dog. Absolutely love the facilities and what nearby bars and cafes offer and serve.

A powerful castle from the outside, the view is wonderful from the top. But the fee is very high for basically nothing, one room and a restaurant, even the most basic shops, we were surprised and not in a good way, we have already been to castles with a lot of investment that had something to see...

The castle is set in a beautiful natural surrounding and is impressive through the number of gates you have to go through to enter it (or conquer it in the Middle Ages). The tickets are quite expensive (we paid 77 euro for a family of 3 with one-way lift access included). If you purchase 2-way lift access, they are going to be more expensive. You can also climb and descend on foot, in which case the tickets will be a little cheaper. There were 2 exhibitions in the main castle: a permanent one, which looked a bit dusty and old-school, telling the history of the castle and the family owning it. The temporary exhibition was dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci, and costed extra. There are also a restaurant serving local specialties, toilets and a gift shop. Most defense towers and gates are either permanently closed or under renovation, so they cannot be visited. You can have some amazing views of the surrounding areas from the top level.

Entry is a bit pricier, but the castle is totally worth it. The walk to the top is easy, no need to take the lift (except for visitors with health impairment). Adequate parking right by the gate. Restaurant at the top was a pleasant surprise, decent food and prices not through the roof. The place was not super crowded and you can comfortably buy tickets at the spot.

A special place where the ancient history still lives on. Could get 5 stars when the museum becomes updated. The views are stunning. The food is also good and affordable considering the location. Can however be difficult to find a parking.

The medieval castle is one of the most beautiful in Austria. You can take the elevator, or you can hike up, which takes about 30 minutes.
