The location and pools were great. Most pools had luke warm water with the exception of the pool at the top, which was hot. The dry sauna was hot and delightful. The inside water rooms were fun. My problem was with the staff. The young lady with brown hair and glasses who was in charge of seating for the aperitif on August 1 at 1900 was very rude. She came to our table and instead of making polite conversation with us, she told us story after story about how our home country was full of stupid people, we don't know geography, our food is bad, and we all go around waving guns. Although she has never been to our home country, she was sure to tell us everything wrong with it. It was uncomfortable and insulting.

Amazing experience! From the very beginning staff were nice and helpful, the service was great throughout. The location is absolutely perfect - you swim in the hot water underneath the snowy Mont Blanc. The views and scenery is gorgeous. The place’s facilities are great, the have plenty of hot baths (covered and outside) so it is never too crowded, and they have saunas, relaxing area, massages and lunch. The food at lunch was excellent as well. You receive everything you need - a towel, slippers and a robe, and even a change of robe if you have lunch. The shower area is very well equipped and well designed. Absolutely recommended!

Not the best experience at this spa, we went there at 6, and given a happy hour at 6:45. Which we completely missed because there is only a single clock hidden in one of the buildings. Also we where not told that there are no food options on the premises, so we went hungry for our time there. Many people brought their phones in to take pictures, videos and face time, this made us uncomfortable. I would not recommend people going to this spa for a relaxing time, the view is wonderful, but you don't need to be in this spa to see it. Also there where no employee's to speak to about issues.

The facilities are great. The Lady with classes working in the Bistro was very rude. We were not informed that the Bistro was only available up until a certain time. We missed the slot and were Rudely expelled

Absolutely stunning spa getaway in the mountains. Went here while on a rest day in Coumayeur hiking along the Tour du Mont Blanc, and it was the highlight of my rest. Felt refreshed to get back on the trail the next day.

The views are beautiful. However, Was extremely disappointed here. (Only used spa and had lunch and aperitif) Have been to various QC TERME and this has to be the worst for service. The hospitality staff were rude and I wont go back to this particular qc. That being said every other QC has everything.

The terme was nice and relaxing, but there were no signs to help people find their way, especially to the upstairs rooms. First-timers might miss the stairs. Better guidance is needed, and people with lone hair should be asked to tie their hair more properly.

Your amazing ride starts in the center of chamonix, there you will take the most thrilling cable car ride if you life. With the best views, grass that turns u to snow, and trees that turn into massive cliffs. Aguille du midi is a must for everyone. The views at the top are truly out of this world and make you seem so small. Would recommend to everyone visiting chamonix. Give out of five stars

Wow!!! Just stunning. Exceptional views 360. Will do again. Review will not do any justice. You just have to go. Nice cafe as well. Stairs from elevator to cafe was a bit of a drag in the thin air. Wife’s lips turned purple from lack of oxygen. Be aware of the signs.

Absolutely astonishing views from the top. A must visit location in Chamonix!! It's pricey but worth each cent. Turnaround ticket for adult is 95€. Check the webcam before to make sure that it is sunny on the top as the weather differs alot and clouds in the valley do not mean clouds on top.

Incredible view . The beauty is breathtaking. You can see the highest peak in Europe from afar. Many people paragliding here. It is a must-visit place in life.

The cable bus from the Chamonix city with a change over in between takes you to the peak of Aiguille du Midi. This peak is exactly in the border of France and Italy. A 20 minutes journey of ten each takes you to the peak. To see the mont blanc, you have to take a pass like temporary visa to the italian side and from the peak to which a lift is taking you, you can see the mont blanc. There is also a glass cage with dead drop bottom. The view from the top is magnificient. It takes you to the view of entire iced surroundings. The mont blanc is the highest peak of Alps. More famous for limited edition pen. They are allowing a total of 2 and half hours to see and come back. On a sunny day, the views are beautiful. The climate is sometimes minus in the peak

I purchased a round-trip ticket for €63.5 at the main station. Punta Helbronner (3,467 m): The final destination was magical. The temperature dropped to around 1.8°C with a light wind, making it refreshingly crisp. From here, a 92-meter below a tunnel leads to a ski station and an open-air restaurant. I made my way to the top terrace—what a view! Standing above the clouds with 360° views of the Alps was an indescribably beautiful and humbling experience. Breathtaking panoramic views of the highest mountain in Europe. Even though I was there at a pretty cloudy day, view was just one of its kind. I was disappointed that the triple cable car was open only one way to France, and nobody could return (because of different regulations).

Wonderful day trip in summer up this mountain via cable car. Don't miss the Refugio and the area covered in snow beside the Refugio.

Stunning views of mountain peaks, an entire glass wall dedicated to local gemstones alongside a view of Mont Blanc and a lovely little cafe where you can sip quality coffee while you admire the peaks! Even though during my visit there were quite a few clouds, the various platforms and views from this height were spectacular. It does get cold at the top observation deck (since you are standing around) so I would recommend an ultralight down! To get around the observation decks (external) you do need to do some stairs, but the building (internal) itself with the cafe and viewing areas is fully accessible! From this point, you could pay for the additional trip on the Mont Blanc Panoramic cable car that takes you over to Aiguille du Midi! I would also recommend going early- so you get fewer clouds and crowds!

Well maintained castle, modestly furnished, with a collection of interesting frescoes and murals. Strategically built on a small island, it used both the Lake Geneva and a moat created between the island and the mainland for defense. Our group had arrived in the late afternoon just in time to enjoy free wine tasting of some local wines, then proceeded to explore the medieval halls and underground chambers. The view from some rooms onto the lake and the Alps is stunning. It is the most visited monument in Switzerland.

This lakeside Castle with breathtaking view was stunning, pictures didn't do it justice. Its magical setting made it one of Switzerland’s most enchanting landmarks. I fully enjoyed my visit, highly recommend.

Château de Chillon is actually really big to explore, especially with the guided map they provide you. I was so tired, a lot of exploring new rooms that never seem like it would end. If you didn’t know, this castle inspired Prince Eric’s in The Little Mermaid. You can hear tons of water sounds by the prison area. It was relative peaceful for me as there weren’t much crowds and kids, so sometimes I got to explore rooms alone.

Beautiful castle (Little Mermaid was inspired on it) with lots of history. I really recommend taking the audio guide which is super complete. It lets you wonder alone around the castle which is a magical experience. The castle is in great conservation, and the dungeons are particularly beautiful. Would recommend this visit if you’re around. You can buy tickets directly upon arrival, and the audio guide takes like 2h to complete

The best view I’ve had from any castle I’ve visited so far. The castle is beautifully preserved, with authentic medieval furnishings that clearly took great effort to maintain. It’s generously open to the public, with access to nearly every corner—even up the creaky wooden staircases, which add to the sense of stepping back in time. Free entry for Swiss pass holders. Two hours or longer is needed.

Fascinating experience. We spent several hours wandering through the castle. The careful preservation of this site allows an understanding of history, with excellent access to all areas both indoors and outdoors and detailed information boards throughout. It is also a lovely lakeside walk from Montreux (after ferry from Lausanne) and a cafe with indoor and outdoor seating is opposite. A truly wonderful morning.

Chillon Castle is a medieval island castle located on the shores of Lake Geneva in Switzerland, near Montreux. It is the most visited historic monument in Switzerland. Come for their nice history and good lake views, indeed very photo worthy! After all it’s free with SWISS TRAVEL PASS.

Great tour with ear phones you point to displays and learn more. I spoke to a chocolate decorator who has been there 25 yrs and he loves working there. Learn how to evaluate chocolate quality and taste and then get to sample many varieties of their chocolates. Superb place!

Absolutely worth a visit! Maison Cailler is an amazing experience from start to finish. There’s plenty of parking space, which makes visiting super convenient. Inside, you get to enjoy lots of free tastings of their delicious, high-quality chocolates every bite is a treat! My family enjoyed it so much The museum is beautifully done, fun, and educational great for both adults and kids. Outside, there’s a lovely park where children can play and enjoy the fresh air while you take in the stunning views of the surrounding mountains and countryside. A perfect spot for families, chocolate lovers, and anyone visiting Switzerland. Highly recommended!

We went on their tour, and it was an good experience! They had a ton of free samples and some really cool education and history. I wouldn’t drive there for 3 hours, but if you’re in the area, it’s definitely a nice stop.

It’s a really interesting museum! I love how they present their history in such an interactive way, and the chocolate tasting was a great touch. Truly an experience for both adults and children! 🍫

Cailler museum was a pure delight. There was a separate production line just for samples. Loved every bit of the museum from the history of chocolates to modern day chocolate making in Switzerland. Of course the free samples and the discounted chocolates in the gift store were icing on the top!

The Cailler chocolate factory is a very interesting place to visit, with a well-designed tour that shows the history and production process. The experience is enjoyable and the chocolate tasting is definitely a highlight. It is a bit expensive, but still worth it for the quality of the visit. The shop at the end is excellent, offering a wide selection of high-quality chocolates and gifts

Arriving was a little intimidating. We went at a 4:00 on a Sunday, and the line waiting to enter the tour was already out the door. The way they have their store set up is very aesthetically pleasing. A whole wall full of chocolate bars! The tour its self was very entertaining. You are lead through different rooms where they tell you the story of their factory, with each room heavily decorated to tell you part of the story, going perfectly along with the audio tour. They had a chocolate machine making little chocolates right in front of you, which, after being wrapped, were then placed in a bowl specifically for you to eat! They had multiple testing stations after that, which I loved. It was all around worth every penny.

If you love historic buildings, Bern’s Old City is a must-see. The medieval architecture is stunning, and the streets are beautifully clean and well-organized. Shops are thoughtfully placed, so you can enjoy the views while exploring. A truly charming and unforgettable experience!

In my opinion, Bern's old town is one of the most beautiful and compact in the world. Its specialty is the arcades formed by the old buildings lining the streets. The arcades are lined with shops, restaurants, bars, art galleries, etc. It is worth walking around the old town, also along the banks of the Aare River, and climbing to the Rosengarten to admire the magnificent view of the old town. Every time I visit Bern I feel amazed.

LOVE this pretty place! So historic and colorful, tons of lovely photo spots! Love the iconic fountain and huge clock tower, as well as all the cute trains and buses that came in different shapes and sizes 🚂🚌🇨🇭❤️. Was glad I dropped by Bern - after all it’s the capital of Switzerland, and a must drop by imo, even if it’s for a short day trip! 😆 I was really happy to be here 🥰👍.

A beautiful town, probably the nicest in Switzerland. In the morning it is less crowded and the streets are well conserved. The prices are really high, which makes the costs hardly affordable for foreigners

You are unwinding the clock back 500 years ago to experience the lifestyle in medieval time. The old street (made of sandstones), clock tower, cathedral surrounded by garden and river are breathtaking.

Beautiful and quaint little old town in the capital of Switzerland! I got there early so the streets were rather empty and it was nice taking a slow stroll down this street. The street was lined with familiar brands/shops, the trams ran down both sides and I almost felt like I was transported back to medieval times - except the modern shops bring me back to the present. If you walk further down, you’ll end up at the Bear Pit, another little tourist attraction of Bern.

Visiting Schilthorn Piz Gloria was absolutely one of the highlights of my trip. The cable car ride itself was an incredible experience, smooth, comfortable, and offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Swiss Alps. As we ascended, the scenery just kept getting more and more spectacular. At the top, the weather was perfect, which made the whole experience even more magical. The 360° views from Piz Gloria are truly stunning with snow-capped peaks, valleys, and endless mountain ranges that leave you speechless. The Bond-themed touches add a fun and unique twist to the visit, but the natural beauty alone is worth every penny. It’s not just a sightseeing trip, it’s an unforgettable adventure. Between the views, the atmosphere, and the overall experience, I can confidently say this was worth every moment and every cent. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Switzerland!

Somewhat pricey to take the gondola up to the top, but it's well worth it for the views. There is a bunch of James Bond history and plaquards. But the views alone are breathtaking. You should fefinitely wait for a clear day, othe you'll just be looking at the fog.

Break taking views! Certain areas were under construction, but it did not take away from our experience. Be sure to walk out to the point and enjoy time in one of the viewing boxes.

Was the filming location of a 007 movie. Granted it is not as high as Jungrafraujoch, but the views are equally fantastic. Highly recommended to make a trip here. There is a rotating restaurant at the tower area also as well that serves very decent buffet lunch.

Great experience. The cable car on the first stretch is supposedly the steepest in the world. Remembered to include the 9 Euro cheese / cold cut option, which is served at the revolving Piz Gloria restaurant. It comes with a drink and there was plenty of food to fill us up. And it tasted good, too. So pretty much a no-brainer. The view from the top was great. Unfortunately clouds descended while we were there and it even started to hail. Which kind of added to the whole experience. Some cool James Bond stuff - check out the bathroom mirrors! Unfortunately quite a lot of construction going on, which detracted from the whole experience. Will still give it 5 stars, but probably more like 4.5 due to construction, high cost and a very unpleasant guy in the ticket booth. Everything else was perfect and definitely an experience. Now back in the US and planning on watching On Her Majesty’s Secret Service tonight 😊

My less-than-ideal rating was solely due to the unfortunate timing of my visit. Otherwise, I would have missed the opportunity to go altogether. It was a heavily overcast day, because of that, I skipped exploring Birg and went straight up to Schilthorn instead. On top of the poor weather, Schilthorn was still under construction. After a quick browse through the gift shop, a short walk around the outdoor deck, and a light snack at the restaurant, it was already time to head back down. I’d have to return someday to truly experience the full beauty of this attraction. Hopefully on a clear day and once the construction is finally complete.

The views are priceless and it's definitely worth it to go! However, be warned that getting around through the construction is extremely difficult. It look 20 minutes to figure out how to go down to the Walk of Fame and the View Lounges. That, for me, was the best part. It's away from the hordes of people fighting to get the best selfie and closer to nature. You can see forever! The best time to go is usually between 15:00-18:00 in the summer (weather permitting) because the clouds tend to lift around that time.

We visited on a bit of an overcast day but the skies cleared and offered spectacular views of Interlaken. We purchased the special ticket offering return trip on the Harder Klum Funicular and a set lunch menu at the Panorama restaurant at the top. Great value. The trip is also wheelchair accessible however you need to locate the back entrance which is further up the road from the main boarding area, on the first side entrance on the left. Well worth the visit.

Absolutely amazing! The funicular is super fun and the views at the top are insane — mountains, lakes, everything. The viewing platform is a must, and the restaurant has great vibes too. Perfect spot for sunset. Don’t miss it if you’re in Interlaken 👍

The views from the top are absolutely breathtaking — definitely one of the best panoramas in Switzerland. The ride up was smooth and easy, and once you get there, the viewing platform makes it feel like you’re floating above Interlaken. We loved taking our time at the top just soaking in the mountains, the lakes, and the fresh air. Such a peaceful and memorable place. Totally worth the trip — highly recommended!

We recently visited Harder Kulm, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Located above the beautiful town of Interlaken, this panoramic viewpoint offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, lakes, and the iconic Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks. The journey to the top is an adventure in itself taking a funicular ride from Interlaken up to the summit ( there happens to be a pretty steep hike as well that can take you up there) was smooth, comfortable, and gave us our first taste of the stunning alpine scenery. Once at the top, we were greeted with a 360-degree vista that truly took our breath away. The observation platform is perfect for photos, and we spent quite a while just soaking in the views. We also had a chance to explore the area a little more, with well-maintained paths leading to even more scenic spots around the summit. One of the highlights was the viewing platform's ( also referred to as the two lakes bridge as you get to see the Thun and Brienz lakes) glass floor.Stepping out onto it felt like flying over the town of Interlaken, and it was a thrilling experience. For those who are a bit more adventurous, there also are a couple of hikes around ( one’s simple the other being a challenging strenuous hike) where you can feel completely surrounded by nature and mountains. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the warm atmosphere. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing day out or an adventure in the mountains, Harder Kulm delivers both in spades. Highly recommend this spot if you're in the area and it's definitely worth the visit!

Fun steep ride up to the view point. Unfortunately the weather fogged up and stares to rain. We took some quick pictures and headed back to beat the crowds on the return trip. This was included in our travel pass so we figured we'd check it out no matter the weather.

After a short funicular ride, the view from top of Harder Kulm was fantastic, even on a semi-cloudy day. I really enjoyed the visit.

Visited Harder Kulm with my wife and kid and absolutely loved it. The view from the top is breathtaking, overlooking Interlaken and the lakes. The funicular ride was smooth and scenic, and the viewpoint is perfect for family photos. A wonderful experience for all ages

If you’re a fan of classic cars, this museum is a mustsee. The collection is vast and seems endless, with many beautifully preserved vintage models. During my visit, there was also a special Tintin exhibition, which made it even more enjoyable.

This was a quick day trip for us while staying in Basel. Amazing collection of automotive history and well worth spending a few hours to explore. The collection of cars from the Tintin books was very cool, particularly if you're a Tintin fan like me!

DEFINITELY A MUST if you're in Mulhouse area, east France. The fact that Musée National de l'Automobile has an collection of more than 400+ cars ranging from more than 100 years ago, is amazing itself. Not to mention they have probably the world most complete collection of Bugatti, like almost a hundred of them. And one of them in the Masterpiece area, the 1936 50T Cabriolet, is now the world most expensive vehicle, worth 100M Euro !!! The details of it, and the idea of building a luxury car back to almost 100 years ago, is really highly admired.

One of the best car museums i’ve ever been. It’s really worth every penny you’re paying for it. Tons of great, rare and unique pieces you will find there. Nice location, brilliant realisation. All cars are in good condition, and like in any other real museum, you can smell oil, gasoline and old leather from them. If you have kids or you just unbelievably love cars, you’ll be happy there

Millions of dollars worth of cars, and they couldn’t get a decent translator for the placards? Honestly it became kind of amusing just how bad the English translations were after a while. The cars are stunning, there is no denying that. Arguably the most complete collection of vintage Bugattis in the world (but surprisingly no modern ones - no Chiron, EB110, not even a Veyron? Maybe they’re locked away somewhere else) 1/4 of the cars in the main hall were covered in white drapes due to construction. To the contractors/ museum officials, I say to you: “ plastic sheeting comes in transparent forms”. Overall a vanity project of a (now dead) rich white guy but there’s some stellar automotive and racing history laid out in these rooms. You’re in Mulhouse, you’re likely gonna go.

Quite possibly one of the greatest car collections in the world. The outside is Beautifully presented... Upon entering the building you have no idea of how overwhelming this place can be. As you begin walking around and seeing a few cars you get lulled into it being a normal museum.... But then you walk into the room with a few Bugattis... You keep walking and seeing more Bugattis... Then you realise, one whole side is just Bugattis 🤯 Then you see the Bugatti Royale.. and realise hold on the have two Bugatti Royales 🤯 .. This place is crazy the sheer number of Bugattis and special cars is crazy... Then the story of the Schlumpf brothers ... Simply put, if you are a car lover you must come here... It's epic.. The shock value never diminishes even after multiple trips

One of the best car collections I have seen. From old to new and some extremely rare peices. We spent about 3 hours in here. There were lots of other things inside to keep children entertained too. There was a section all about Tintin which showed the different books and the cars linked to it which was nice. There was a driving simulator, small ride on cars and a vr F1 experience.

Definitely worth the visit, the building is beautifully crafted. If you walk behind the building you will have an excellent view overlooking the River. Lots of people were having picnics and relaxing here.

Solo travelers are not allowed to climb the towers, for suicide prevention reasons. You can find another tourist and ask to accompany them, but without the employee seeing this. Don't let them know you are strangers. There's a small fee to climb the towers and it's well worth it. Basel Minster was built between the 11th and 16th centuries in a blend of Romanesque and Gothic styles. After the 1356 earthquake, it was significantly rebuilt incorporating Gothic elements such as pointed arches, ribbed vaults, and large stained-glass windows. The cathedral is made of red sandstone and is notable for its two main towers, St. George’s and St. Martin’s, and its patterned tile roof. The Minster served as the Catholic cathedral until the Reformation in 1529, after which it became a Reformed Protestant church. The Gallus Gate at Basel Minster is the oldest Romanesque figure portal in the German-speaking world, built around 1185. In the tympanum is Christ as Judge of the World, accompanied by Peter and a donor figure, while the lintel below shows the Parable of the Ten Virgins. During the Reformation in Basel (1529), iconoclasm took place at Basel Minster as part of the city’s shift from Catholicism to Protestantism. Religious images, statues, and altars that were seen as idolatrous were removed or destroyed. The interior today remains relatively bare compared to its original medieval design.

It was originally built in the 1000’s as a Roman Catholic Cathedral and became a Protestant church. There’s no fee to get in the church but there’s a fee to go up the top. Behind the church is the Rhine River.

Don’t miss the chance to reach the top of the church. While climbing, it might seem like you’ve reached the end, but be sure to check—there’s a good chance there’s a way to go even higher."

Had a free walk around then spotted people paying to go up the towers. We tried this for a small charge and it's well worth the steep steps to go to the 3 levels available. Bit tight at times depending on how many people go up but numbers are controlled.

Basel Minster is absolutely worth a visit! I’ve climbed several church towers across Switzerland, but this one had the narrowest spire staircase I’ve ever squeezed through! It’s a bit of a tight spiral toward the top, but that only adds to the adventure. Once you reach the viewing platform, you’re rewarded with panoramic views of Basel, the Rhine, and even into France and Germany on a clear day. The cathedral itself is beautifully maintained, with intricate stonework and a peaceful courtyard. It’s a perfect mix of charm, challenge, and postcard-worthy scenery. Don’t miss it!

If you're in or neat Lucerne Mount Pilatus is a must see. I took the train from Lucerne to Alpnachstad and then took the cog train up the mountain. I had absolutely perfect weather and the views were stunning. There is a restaurant multiple lookout points and a few trails I hiked. I then took the gondola down the other side of the mountain. Highly recommend!

Beautiful views all around. Be careful about visiting during spring, as parts of the viewing decks may be closed because of snow as late as early june in my experience. The facilities are new and very nice. I would recommend to take the cog rail up, and the gondola down the mountain for the best experience. Worth every penny.

WoW WoW WooooooW An absolute must see! It is a bit expensive to go up but what an insanely gorgeous experience to see lucerne and the alps from here. We took the cog wheel up and the gondola down. INCREDIBLE

My visit to Mount Pilatus was absolutely unforgettable! The entire journey — from the climb up through stunning mountain landscapes to the breathtaking views at the top — felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The staff were helpful and very professional, making the experience smooth from start to finish. What a spectacular place! If you are visiting Switzerland, spend some hours at Mt. Pilatus. I took the steap railway to the top, but you can also choose to hike.

Mount Pilatus was definitely a highlight of the trip to Switzerland. The weather in mid September was cooperative (it was as warm and sunny on the mountain as in Lucerne). Classic trip as advised: bus, cable cars to the mountain and trip back via cog-wheel train and lake cruise ending in Lucerne. Nature beauty is unreal, hiking a few paths at the top (paved or stairs) is almost a must. Utter surprise how tasty were the local beef hot dogs at the fast food joint on the mountain.

We had a wonderful experience visiting the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke) in Lucerne. It was a beautiful evening, and the entire setting felt almost magical. The iconic wooden bridge, with its charming roof and historic paintings, reflected perfectly in the calm waters of the Reuss River—making it one of the most picturesque spots we’ve seen in Switzerland. Right nearby, the Old Town was buzzing with life. The streets were lively with cafés, restaurants, and little shops, making it a joy to stroll through. The blend of history, culture, and energy gave the whole area a very warm and welcoming vibe. Walking across the bridge and then meandering through the cobblestone streets of Old Town felt like stepping into a postcard. The combination of medieval architecture, colorful buildings, and the vibrant evening atmosphere made the entire experience unforgettable. If you are in Lucerne, visiting Chapel Bridge is absolutely a must-do, especially in the evening when the city lights and reflections on the river create such a breathtaking scene. It’s not just a landmark—it’s a place that captures the heart and soul of Lucerne.

Chapel Bridge lives up to the hype being the most iconic outdoor attraction in Lucerne. Pictures of the bridge from the river shore streets are more scenic than photos taken from the bridge itself. Given that fire of 1993 destroyed at least two thirds of the bridge, don’t expect too much from exposed paintings. Fortunately, Water Tower was spared and bridge was rebuilt and reopened in 8 months carefully reconstructed to preserve historic details.

Beautiful bridge which has significant history; there had been a fire in the 90's but apart from some blackened sections it had been repaired. It was not crowded. It provided lovely views of the mountains, lake and Luzern itself. The wood is lovely and the craftsmanship is evident everywhere with examples of quality joinery etc. It's a short walk from the main railway station. I found it peaceful and calming. We were out of season.

Also is one of the main attractions of Lucerne (while it also has become one of the most recognizable images of the country). It is a symbol of the city and gives a sublime beauty on sunny days. Especially when even the nearby peaks are still snow-covered and can be seen in the background the Pilatus, majestic. There are many boats that allow you to traverse the lake and cross from one bank to another or even cruise excursions to nearby towns. It's a pretty big lake reaching over 210 meters. PS:- Highly Recommended for taking a boat tour around it to enjoy the tranquil beauty it holds.

Like many other reviews of this place - great steak, poor service. We arrived towards the closing of this restaurant around 10:45pm but were welcomed in after the waiter checked the time. This changed quickly however when we ordered - the staff hurried us out the restaurant by packing up every single table around us, moving our items off of an adjacent table to close up, and even asking to give us our bill rather than the other way round. Did not feel like well looked-after customers when many other bars and restaurants in the same street were full of patrons at this time and not rushing them at all. The steak and quality of food was brilliant, but the service needs a lot of improvement else would not return again.

We visited Steak House Old Town without ordering any beef, and overall, the experience was just average. Chicken Breast: Unfortunately, this was a letdown. It was quite dry and tough to chew, lacking the tenderness you'd expect. Grilled Salmon: Decent, but nothing memorable. It was cooked fine, though not particularly flavorful. Duck: Also just okay. It didn’t stand out, but it wasn’t bad either. Sides: The sides were the highlight of the meal. The potato with sour cream was excellent—creamy and well-seasoned. The spinach was fresh and tasty, and the fried sweet potato was crispy and satisfying. Soup: We tried the coconut soup. It was rich and creamy, but the coconut flavor was overpowering, making it a bit too intense for our taste. Service was fine, and the ambiance was cozy, but based on the dishes we tried, we wouldn’t rush back. Perhaps the beef options are better, given it's a steakhouse.

Best steak I've ever had! While walking along the street In Zurich to find somewhere for dinner we happened upon this restaurant where we could smell the mouthwatering steak before seeing it. A quaint little restaurant with a lovely outside seating area where you cook your steak on a hot stone.. having been on a train all day from Vienna we were ravenous so decided to go for the Tomahawk for 2 and let me tell you it did not disappoint. The most amazing juicy steak we have ever had!!! And even though the steak by itself was more than enough for 2 people.. the complimentary sides of veg and rosemary potatoes were incredible! Even though the food was sensational the service outshone it, never once did our glasses get slightly empty and the staff were incredible and so helpful with any questions asked about Zurich in general! Could not recommend this place more! Definitely worth a visit!!

The village Titisee in Germany is a very neat nd tiny with hygiene sorrounding. It’s famous for CuCuo clock manafacture nd for sorrounding scenic beauty. It also lies along the Black Forest regions.

We don’t live nearby but we love when we get to come here! Titisee is a beautiful lake and place, perfect to relax, enjoy beautiful nature and appreciate the good things in life. And there are also so many things to do and visit nearby, it’s a wonderful destination. We already stayed at two hotels here and both were top notch, and the lake was as inviting each time. I bought boat ride tickets online, but I couldn't use them because our bus tour arrived too early and we only stayed for one hour. There is a very pleasant promenade with benches to rest on, multiple viewing platforms, a couple of gift shops, and several toilet facilities.

It is a beautiful waterfall. I came to it with the knowledge that it is Europe's largest and most powerful waterfall but when I saw it I was not impressed at all. Compared to the major waterfalls in other continents, it is not that large or powerful. But it is beautiful. And the walkway that leads to it is fine. There is plenty of water and it is so beautifully blue. The foamy water under the waterfall is nice to see. And there are quite a few waterbirds there such as gulls.

Until now, we have always chosen the entrance via Laufen Castle, which features a panoramic trail and a viewing platform situated halfway down. A staircase leads directly to the base of the falls, and after passing through a short tunnel carved into the rock, visitors can admire the waterfall from an impressive side vantage point. Watching the immense volumes of water cascade downward is endlessly captivating — a sight that draws us back time and again. I can also recommend to enjoy the boat ride to the Fall. It‘s a great experience!

A wonderful creation of nature and if you are in Zurich i would recommend having a visit to Rhine falls. It is easily accessible via train and there is a train station that gets you right to the viewing point of rhine falls. You have to buy a ticket to enter the falls which was around 5CHF at the ticket vending machine located there. No need to prebook the tickets. Then you have to take some steps down thus a small walk will take you to the viewing platform of this huge waterfall. You will feel the mist as the water power is really great at the viewing platform. There are several boat services which you can hop on to on an extra cost and will take you closer to the falls.

Plan at least half a day, walk down from the castle to the waterfall, enjoy the view at various view points, take a boat tour with an audio guide, have a bite, walk back around the waterfall and over the bridge. Visit after a heavy rain when the waterfall has lots of water. Try to come during the week when it’s less busy. There is a little tourist train going around the waterfall and showing some of Schaffhausen. Very easily accessible by car or by train.

As we made our way up and started walking around the outdoor observation areas, the view simply took my breath away. The castle itself is just as impressive as the scenery. It stands tall and majestic, with an atmosphere that carries centuries of history. Walking through it, you can almost feel the presence of the people who once lived there and the important role this place played. Every hallway and corner has a story, and when you step back outside to those sweeping views, it all ties together beautifully. I’ve seen a number of castles in Germany — each with their own charm — but Hohenzollern stood out in a way that felt different. That mix of breathtaking scenery and deep history makes it one of the most memorable castles I’ve ever visited. If you’re traveling in the area, I can’t recommend it enough. I loved how they still kept history alive for viewing and provided a free app guided tour. The shuttle to the castle from the parking lot, gift shops and bathrooms in both the castle and parking lot, and restaurants made the tour convenient. But the best parts were the view of nearby lands and beautiful artifacts.

This was a wonderful experience and this castle does not disappoint with sheer beauty located at the top of the mountain. I got lovely photos and videos. There is shuttle bus to the top and an app that gives you an audio tour. There are also many guides on site to answer questions and give you more history. There is a gift shop with beautiful souvenirs and an on site restaurant/bar/cafe. Well worth the visit and I recommend buying advance tickets which are slightly discounted. I also rented a super car on this trip and the drive from Stuttgart was scenic and so much fun in a performance car. Also recommend the drive.

This is a beautiful castle! It is very well maintained. The walk through is nice, and the museum area is really neat too. There's a beautiful outdoor seating area with a beer garden/restaurant. We had lunch and coffee there. We also visited with a baby, and read ahead of time not to bring a stroller due to stairs and tight spaces. So we used a baby carrier instead and it worked perfectly! This is a must visit castle if you're anywhere close in the vicinity. The view looking down is also beautiful.

The castle is not big but has a beautiful winery, restaurant, small museum, beautiful facade, but most importantly an amazing high terrace overlooking the city. The tickets include a ride on the cable tramway taking you all the way to the tip of the mountain. A beautiful ride and nice view.

Absolutely beautiful place! The views over Heidelberg are stunning, and the castle itself is full of history and charm. Great mix of ruins and restored areas, with lots to explore. A must-see if you’re in the area! The bergbahn is really close by too if you have tickets to go back into altstadt

This castle truly has a mystic vibe to it! The red-brick theme, and the fact that its in ruins but still very well maintained adds to its appeal. Highly recommend visiting in fall/autumn as it looks super aesthetic with the green-yellow-red-brown leaves all around the magnificent castle! We didn't go inside but just taking a stroll around it and outside was super beautiful and makes for a good outing in Heidelberg!

Visiting Heidelberg Castle felt like stepping into a storybook. The walk up is a bit steep, but completely worth it for the stunning views over the city and the Neckar River. The castle itself has a beautiful mix of grandeur and ruin, which gives it so much character and history. I especially enjoyed wandering through the gardens and taking in the scenery. My recommendation is to take your time and just enjoy the atmosphere as well as to go before the sunset. Highly recommended!

Highly Recommend 👌👌👌 Heidelberg Castle is absolutely worth a visit! The views over the city and river are breathtaking, and the mix of old architecture and history makes it special. Don’t miss the giant wine barrel or the Pharmacy Museum. Go at sunset for amazing photos. The only problem is parking especially on the weekends, this place is crowded with visitors.

I didnt go into the palace(entrancee fee was around 20EUR) but it was so beautiful even only outside. I saw the panoramic view to the city. It was perfect.

Amazing museum to get lost. Plan plenty of time to be there. We stayed the whole days. The museum conditions of w giant halls, planes the roof trops, outdoor exhibition of tanks, planes, playground and amusement parc. We liked best : slide down of one of the planes, Concore& Tupolev, fastest car in the world " Blue Flame" Monstertrack, car of " back from the future".... In hall 1 you can find the IMAX cinema, museum shop, American dream cars, military tanks, planes, helicopters and other vehicles, aircraft hangar, organs and bicycle racing. Hall 2 is allabout motorracing, formula 1, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Ralleycars, automobile from the beginning, 20s 40s 50s and modern automobile. On the rooftopyou find the Concord, Tupolev and the submarine.

What an incredible place. It's mind-blowing the exhibits on display. Wild, varied and so many !!! You can view it all in a few hours but for sure take a day out to go to this mind bending place. The Concorde and the Kondcordski Tuplolv tu144 are magnificent. Scary climbing up the stairs and the tilt is a bit steep but well worth going. The cars also , so many cool cars, from supercars, to pre war to hot rods. Exhibits on race cars, a cool display of F1 cars. They also have a Great shop . Deffo pace yourself and take time !! They also have another museum called technik Speyer ... That has the Russian Space shuttle the Buran !!!

Absolutely amazing experience, with the U-boat, Tupolev and Concorde as the major highlight. Do not miss this if you have the opportunity. Expect to spend between 2 and 4 hours. Good - experience some of the most amazing vehicles from up close. - build as an experience - there is actually too much too see - themed areas and some paid interactive displays.

One of the most fascinating museums l've ever been to because of its absolute mint condition of trains, planes and automobiles :) Expect to spend a few hours to a whole day to fully enjoy this huge museum! Very special to see in person was the supersonic airplanes …Concorde and Russian tupolev (Tu-144) and a real U-boat !! (Line ups may vary from 10min to 1hour) Great collection of Lambo’s, Ferrari’s and of course every classic German sports cars. Lots of outdoor parking (5.00€ ) Bonus: some of the special collection exhibits are interactive by putting 2€ coin fee which gives you a great real life example of a steam locomotive wheels in action with sounds, very impressive so just do it !

We've been wanting to go here for a few years as we passed it on the way to someplace else. So much to see and really loved walking inside the Concorde jet and the U boat. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy but not too bad. Parking is 5 euros. Lots of cars, tanks, motorcycles and more. Great for a family to spend a half day and the playground was fantastic with rides too.

Great, but it could be so much better. There are some amazing exhibits here, but they're displayed in a ramshackle and random manner. Having the planes at stage angles must have seemed like a good idea (maybe after a beer or two), but I think they'd be better level allowing people to walk through easily and concentrateon looking at the interiors fully.. Information on some of the exhibits is sparse or cut-and-paste from others. It is certainly worth a visit, but it has the potential to be absolutely amazing.

Most fascinating museum I've ever been to. To actually enter a Concorde was a blast. Definitely spending a whole day the next time. Absolutely a family experience. Very nice staff. So much to see and explore.

Very crowded all the time of the day. There are trains to all parts of Europe from this central station. The station is quite big and it is decently maintained. The trains I took from here were all on time. Even the S bahn can be taken from this station only

Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof is a huge, bustling station with stunning old architecture blended with modern design. It’s well-connected with trains to all of Germany and Europe, and offers plenty of shops, cafés, and food options. It can get crowded and the area outside feels a bit rough at night, but overall it’s an efficient and impressive travel hub.

Historic beautiful station, it is very busy with 30+ railway tracks. You can buy souvenirs even late night at the railway station

Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof is a major transportation hub and offers excellent connectivity, quick links to regional trains, long‑distance services, suburban S‑/U‑Bahn lines, and a large selection of food outlets and shops. According to recent rankings it even borders on being one of Europe’s better large stations. On the flip side, the station and especially its surrounding district have mixed reviews: many passengers mention crowding, hygiene issues (including unpleasant odours in some areas), and a part of the neighbourhood that feels somewhat rough after dark. If you’re passing through during the day with luggage and clear destination, it’s very serviceable and worth using. At night or if you plan a long stay in the area, just be a bit cautious.

Frankfurt Central Station is a large train station with attractive architecture and an impressive building. Fortunately, you can find various restaurants and services inside the station. Unfortunately, there are many beggars in the area who constantly ask for money and food. The station itself is relatively clean and organized, but unfortunately, the paths leading to the subway and lower levels often smell of urine. Also, using the restrooms requires payment, and another important point is that the platform (Gleis) for trains can change until the very last minute, so it's recommended to continuously check the platform information until your train arrives. Additionally, the DB information service is always helpful and answers your questions well, and I was satisfied with their service.

This is the main station that serves the Frankfurt city. S Bahn, U Bahn, trams and all long distance regional bahn and IC and ICE trains are staring and ending from here. Most of the officials speaks English and people are friendly. A safe location to travel solo. Always congested and full of people.

A nice old place where you can enjoy the architecture, people, coffeeshops. In the heart of the old town of frankfurt, the place is very nice and worth a walk.

It’s amazing here, many walking tours also start at this point. This is like a prime touristy spot. Many souvenir are also around and restaurant with various different culture and countries are available. There is also a shopping mall nearby on walking distance. I suggest anyone visiting Frankfurt to visit here

Beautiful historical site. The Romer still stands in Frankfurt in all its majesty. This medieval building is perhaps the city's most important landmark. In the past it was regarded as the most beautiful square in Germany. Now it is a very popular square and a very good spot for photographs. Romer is the seat of the Frankfurt city administration. There was a sizable crowd there when we went to it. There was also some preparations going on for an upcoming national event.

The Römer is absolutely stunning - a must-see when visiting Frankfurt! The old town square around it is full of charm, with half-timbered houses, cafés, and plenty of photo spots. You really get a feel for the city’s history here. It’s especially nice in the evening when the lights come on, and during the Christmas market it looks magical. Easy to reach by foot or public transport, and there are lots of restaurants nearby. A perfect place to start exploring Frankfurt!

Frankfurt’s Old Town is a charming area of timber-framed houses, cobblestone streets, and the historic Römerberg square — one of the most picturesque spots in the city.

Interesting castle, not the best I have seen, but quite big and equipped. Short tour thru the living quarters in the castle, bit about the Martin Luter history and nice viewing point. Overall I expected more interesting place than it actually was. Small parking at the bottom of the hill with short walk up, or shuttle bus ride. Worth visiting, but bit disappointing.

This was well worth the entrance fee! The castle has so much fabulous history from the 12th century onwards. We enjoyed every minute of the auditory device educational experience.

Wonderful location and views from the castle. The historical tour is very interesting and the preservation and restoration of the chambers is top notch. It is also a historical site for christians, as Martin Luther started the translation to the New Testament in this castle. You can see the room in which he was working.

We visited Wartburg during the Christmas season. Getting up to the castle was quite a trek - it's a long and challenging walk uphill, so be prepared if you're not in good shape! It was also very cold and windy at the top of the mountain. The Christmas market was extremely crowded, so unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to properly explore it. We also found it a bit difficult to find the castle entrance as there weren't clear signs outside. However, the guided tour inside was excellent! The guide shared the castle's history along with interesting stories and fun facts. Before leaving, we even enjoyed some live music in the upper part of the castle.

Now that's a beautiful castle. We took the guided tour and learned a lot! It's worth taking a slow walk at the museum once the tour finishes. Sit, have a beer and a Thüringen wurst. Just lovely!

Lest you miss it at the Wartburg: The triptych of the 3 successive electors by Lucas Cranach depicts a pivotal part of German and European history. The central position is held by Frederick the Wise, Duke of Saxony, arch marshall and elector of emperor Charles V, having refused his own candidacy. Frederick holds the vice regal crown of Germany during the absence of the emperor. His brother John (l) followed, and the latter's son John Frederick (r) fought against emperor and pope for the new church. (JF was brother-in-law to Kg Henry VIII for a short while by the Cleve sisters.)

The trekking routes around and on the way to the castle have some of the visually stunning vistas of the Thüringen wilderness. The city of Eisenach looks quite stunning along the way as well. I'd definitely recommend the trek to the castle along from the other side of another hill.

Amazing how they managed to build this beautiful bridge with the shops and apartments so many years ago before there was any modern machinery! The fact that it is still standing after all these decades is a marvel! I loved the whole experience!

Really cool that one can be walking down the street without even realizing being on the Merchant's bridge. Definitely take a moment to walk outside and see the bridge then walk back through - really cool. There are a lot of little plazas around to stop and relax with a lot of little ice cream shops within a small area.

The Krämerbrücke in Erfurt is the longest bridge in Europe that is completely covered with inhabited buildings. It spans the Gera River and connects Benediktsplatz with Wenigemarkt in the heart of the old town. Small shops, galleries, and artisan workshops line the bridge, giving it a charming medieval atmosphere. It is one of Erfurt’s most famous landmarks and a popular spot for both locals and visitors.

This Is the most amazing zoo I've ever been to. It's so big with the kids. We could only see a portion of it, but the jungle experience especially with the boat ride was so cool. All of the exhibits are wonderful. I would highly recommend to anyone to visit the zoo. Easily one of the best zoos in the world.

Leipzig Zoo is one of the best zoos I‘ve ever visited. Large enclosures. Many events throughout the day. Amazing infrastructure (you can find maps, sign posts, and directions for a tour that leads you through the entire zoo everywhere). They also don’t solely focus on the animals as mere entertainment but seek to inform kids in playful ways about preservation/biology/even physics in the aquarium. Leipzig Zoo also provides a variety of restaurants and snack bars that are evenly distributed across the entire Zoo. I wholly recommend visiting, whether alone or with friends and family. It’s an amazing and informative experience!

Best zoo in Germany especially with huge greenhouse of tropical forest and self moving boats along river with warm climate. Highly recommended for both adults and children alike

This zoo park was fantastic. I would recommend this to everyone. There is so much to see and you should have water with you because food and water prices there is too expensive. WC is free which is very good. And I suggest you guys to go early there, zoo opens at 9 am and closes at 7pm. As I mentioned earlier there is lot to see so you probably will need some rest. And one good thing about this zoo park is that you see animals without any borders and it is kind of crazy but it is safe. So enjoy with your trip everyone.

Zoo Leipzig is a great place to visit with kids. The grounds are very clean with almost no smell, and there are nice play and climbing facilities for children. A fun and family-friendly zoo experience!

This zoo is arguably the best in Europe. The animals have the freedom to roam, creating a more natural environment, and plenty of dining options are available. Don’t miss the chance to watch the monkeys and explore Gondwanaland. It's truly a fantastic spot for some quality time with your children.

This amazing monument is a powerful reminder of the past and history. You can really feel the strong emotions when you’re there. Be prepared for lots of staircases—there are more than 350 steps, and some of them are in narrow, tiny hallways. It’s definitely not for claustrophobic people, but there’s an elevator that takes you up part of the way, though it doesn’t reach the top. It’s a great place to visit during the summer or spring when the weather is nice!

Great experience with a rich history. I chose a non audio self tour and would highly recommend this. It's a place of reflection and would rather go undisturbed. The staircase to the top is steep though. Just so you know 😉

If you had only one thing to do in Leipzig, please visit this place. This monument is the tallest in all of Europe and it commemorates the war that broke Napoleon. No tickets required

This intense and impressive monument is a MUST SEE if you are in Leipzig. The scale is stunning and is reminiscent of the Mines of Moria in Lord of the Rings. There are multiple lifts but if you want to get to the top viewing area, you have to use the stairs and it is a little walk. No bad, but most people emerged a little winded and sweaty. The sweeping views of Leipzig are great and, if you go on a sunny day, you can see many miles/kilometers in every direction. Highly recommended.

A really impressive monument. It really makes you feel the enormity of the event being memorialized much like the World War I monument in Kansas City. There was a feeling of heaviness about the monument and it made me feel retrospective. A very nice visit. A stroll through the cemetery nextdoor is also warranted.

the monument to the battle of the nations in leipzig is a massive, seriously impressive monument commemorating napoleon's defeat in the 1813 battle. it's one of europe's largest, and you can climb to the top for panoramic views of leipzig. inside, the huge stone figures are really powerful. it's a bit outside the city center but easily reached by tram and definitely worth a visit for its history and scale

Definitely a must-see. It’s the most beautiful building in the park, with incredible architecture and charm that you won’t want to miss. Whether you’re a history lover, architecture fan, Sanssouci Park is an unforgettable experience. Truly 5 stars!
