First time on a DFDS cruise, booking was smooth, customer support was very helpful. Was a bit difficult to find the parking for the car but we called and the lady helped. Check-in and passport control were easy and we could board the cruise. No elevator for the baby trolley but the staff promptly helped up the escalators. On board staff is very very friendly, welcoming and helpful, always with a smile! Plenty of entertainment on board, kids play area, cinema, games, drinks, extra activities like watching sea wild life (if you're lucky to see them)... Buffet or a-la-carte restaurant, cafeteria. We had the buffet and our room included wifi, and mini-bar drinks, what a treat! Comfortable beds and nice shower, much better than expected! We loved the experience and would like to repeat, maybe taking the car next time and exploring the North of England or Scotland.

We took the ferry to Newcastle with our dog and we really enjoyed it. The bedroom was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The dog area was nice and we like most that the sailing was smooth as we sometimes get sea sick. Thank you.

Opted for the commodore suite for comfort rather than any other option price wise. What you get - a hotel room afloat - a private lounge with drinks and nibbles FOC. Lounge is open 24hrs for drinks coffee etc. Meet and greet at the entrance to the commodore cabins Breakfast included in the price of the cabin in a private dining area Staff are fantastic, so warm and friendly The vessel itself is a credit to the officers and crew as she was pristine in appearance. Not a cheap option but in my mind money well spent Highly recommend that you don’t waste your money on dining onboard as we found the food bland at best, veggies cold and not worth the £28 per head. More like a poor works canteen

Brilliant international race circuit situated close to the beach in Zandvoort. Attended the Historic weekend - a great event which allows you to wander all through the paddock and to different parts of the course to watch the action. Turns 11 and 12 offer a great view of cars attempting overtakes and really showcases how different cars approach corners.

Attended a small event which had different categories of cars in the same day. Access is relatively easy by car and public transportation. Once in, would be helpful if they provided a map showing where the different things are on the track area. Toilets were not easily available in some of the areas, although the ones available were clean. There was limited options for food and drinks.

20 min walk from the main train station. Tickets were 15 Euros return from Amsterdam. It was well laid out, no entry charge on a non race day. We watched a few training races. Plenty of toilets and food venues and seating and viewing areas to watch races. Definitely would recommend for a fun and different day out experience.

Great experience here in Zandvoort. We got in paying nothing, because when there are no events there are also no entry fees. You can take a look around the garages, the stands and more. There are also cars racing there the whole day, so you can get a feeling how the place looks at race weekends. I would recommend visiting the Circuit if you are in Zandvoort!

First time going to a F1 in the Netherlands. Amazing place. Great people. Prepare for lots of walking tho, as the track is relatively far away from the station. Organization was excellent, the vibe unreal, the beers on point. Last one next year, so don’t miss out on a great opportunity.

There’s also a small merchandise shop on site, which had a nice variety of items — from T-shirts and hats to collectible memorabilia. It’s not huge, but it had everything we needed to bring home a few souvenirs. Overall, Circuit Zandvoort offers a well-rounded and enjoyable day out. Whether you're coming for a major event or just to explore the track, it’s well worth the visit. We had an amazing time and would absolutely come back. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting the area or looking for a unique day trip on the Dutch coast!

Spent a day at Zuid-Kennemerland National Park — a breathtaking stretch of dunes, forests, and hidden lakes that roll all the way to the North Sea. We wandered along sandy trails past grazing deer and Highland cattle, all the way to the serene Vogelmeer -- that translates to: a lake where many birds gather. This is exactly what it is: a peaceful dune lake known for its rich birdlife, including herons, cormorants, ducks, and other waterfowl. A perfect escape into wild Dutch nature — just minutes from the coast.

The most beautiful and memorable place in the area. I fell in love with it from the very first sight. Loads of hiking paths and places to rest. Beautiful lakes on the way. Peace and quiet so close to the city. I loved this place and had a quick recharge with my family.

Various and unique terrains. Sand dunes, wetlands, lakes, and bushes. The scenery was pleasant but nothing really breathtaking. Great for a walk, run or bike ride. There is an animal farm with dozens of sheep.

Such a nice and convenient spot! The lake is just a short walk from the car park, making it super easy to access. There’s a really nice café on site and a great playground for the kids—perfect for a relaxed day out.

This is one of my most favorite national parks in the Netherlands. They have not only sand duin, lakes, but also beach and forest. Arriving here you will immediately recognize the fresh clean ocean breeze and the variety of plants and landscaping in one area. There are a lot of playgrounds for children at different ages. You can also swim at the lake or simply play at the beach. There are different routes for bicycles and hikers. The roads for bicycles are very nice. The hiking routes are also fabulous to enjoy the bird sound and different nature sceneries. The sign system is kept very well so that you cannot get lost in the nature. The visitor center is connecting with the restaurant and cafeteria. There you can use clean toilets, also for small babies. The Terrace is facing a big playground for small children giving the parents peace in mind where they can seat enjoying a cup of tea while watching the children playing. If you want to cycle, you can rent a bicycle here as well. The combination of everything makes us to decide coming back here for another visit. Strongly recommended!

Great place for hiking, biking, there are two swimmable lakes, plenty of places for bird-watching, also some semi-wild cows (longhorns), horses, bunnies, foxes.

It’s a lovely park! It’s nice for cycling, walking, and hanging out with family or friends. There’s a beautiful lake where you can sunbath and swim on sunny days. I’d recommend to go cycling as it’s a large park with many trails. It’s possible to see bisons in one of the trails from September to February. It’s worth a visit!

Museum VoorlinMuseum Voorlinden is a beautiful and well-curated modern art museum, worth visiting if you are in the area. The staff is friendly and helpful, which made the experience smooth and pleasant. The artworks are all special in their own way, and each room offers something different. A standout for us was the marshmallow house — playful and unexpected, it really stood out as a highlight. There are a few practical things to note. You are not allowed to take even a water bottle inside, so plan accordingly. Also, the toilets are located outside the main building, which means you have to walk a bit to reach them. Overall, a unique and engaging museum experience. We give it 4 out of 5 stars. den

The pool is very famous yes, but if u go there just for that I would say it’s not worth it. But there are so much more to see. The environment surrounded is just so good to be true. Highly recommended even if just for the view outside. And the museum inside itself must be one of the most beautiful museum I have ever seen.

It's a very enjoyable place. Kids can enjoy it too. But we loved the cafe right next to it. The forest where the museum is located was wonderful. The landscaping was beautiful. You can also take a walk around the area.

I admit the artworks worth a visit however I have to be honest the experience was not good for a 22 euro. a) In that "sweet Memories"... everyone was asked to take off shoes, understandable though still a bit strange. Maybe I got bad luck in that group someone had unbearable stench filled the whole small candy room. At least for me that was zero sweet but a completely disgusting memories. b) It's normal and common sense not to touch the artwork but arguable the distance. I was struggling from the warning: "keep the distance"... I don't see it's normal for a museum to forbid visitors to look closely for details. Meanwhile to mention there is no clear sign at least for the "large-mini copied chairs". As a well known museum, you are not doing properly in leveraging the communication towards ur visitors between: "don't touch", "keep distance" and "look closely". If u believe signs break the artworks and atmosphere, then u should do it professionally in a different way. Good luck with your visit and hope all of u will have a Sweet Memories there... 😂 For me the disgusting memories + a strange "keep distance" warning made a very unpleasant experience for only 2 stars.

Museum Voorlinden is a beautiful estate with a contemporary art gallery. Their permanent collection is excellent and the seasonal collections are usually also very good. Besides the museum the estate gardens are also worth a visit and they are completely free of charge!

A big nice place with lots of rides to hangout for kids. Well enjoyed by adults also, this place gives you an option to stay overnight and there are water pools to enjoy in summers which are at extra cost. The place is well connected with public transport. The place needs slightly more attention towards hygiene. Must visit.

A nice theme park with a variety of rides to suit all ages. Also, the park has a water park inside it which is what makes it unique. The park itself is not too big and queues are not too long either. A day inside is usually sufficient.

It’s a nice place for children to spend a full day, with lots of attractions and also a water park. You can buy separate tickets for the attractions or the water park, or a combined ticket. I bought the combined tickets. We spent the day from morning until 5:00 in the attractions, then went to the water park. The water park has both indoor and outdoor options, but the indoor one is much more fun. The only downside is the price—I think it’s a bit too high. I paid around €39 per person.

What a cracking day!!! Had fun from start to finish the guy operating the pirate ship was fantastic and went the extra mile. Very clean park not to busy food was ok prices were fine. 9.5/10. My only criticism and again it’s small is the toilets all close early even when the park is very busy.

We went on a Sunday around 4.30pm for a indoor experience and it was amazing, we've some much fun! Easy to access by bus. We'll come back for a full experience!!

We have came to duinrell on a number of occasions and every single time it reaches our expectations if not even higher and we will be back for the 6th time in the near future! Duinrell has a fantastic theme park which is suitable for all ages with a variety of different levels of thrill. The tiki bad waterpark is an excellent waterpark with loads of different and unique slides to anywhere else. I like how you can go late at night with the slots. This is perfect for a relaxing evening. The fully equipped park on site is open until really late so if your children want to stay for a little bit longer than they have the opportunity to. The staff are really friendly and you can even hire go karts and bikes. On site there is the superstore and pizza shop and restaurants even with a bowling alley, and bar with entertainment. The accommodation are great with fully working showers and the beds are comfy.

It was a great experience for a family time. My recommendation is to go during a week, not on weekends. Our teens have been so happy to use all attractions in Duinrell

Here is absolutely stunning fields of colorful flowers, especially tulips, everywhere you look. It was quite crowded with tourists, but the atmosphere was still enjoyable. Outside the park, we rented bikes and explored the endless beautiful flower fields around Lisse a fantastic experience! Despite the crowds, I’d definitely love to come back.

Large and beautiful gardens with a multitude of tulip displays. It was lovely to walk around and see all the beds that are supported by local farmers. The indoor displays were great for a bit of variety. Spent about 3 hours total including a rest for lunch. Visited at the start of April, so before the peak season, but still quite tiring with the huge number of people. The bus and entry ticket was very convenient.

Its a spectacular garden with every colour of tulips and roses that you could imagine. Simply beautiful! There is also a section inside where they have arranged flowers and stuff, that too is worth seeing. Absolutely worth the money!!! Not-to-be-missed!

Visited Keukenhof in late March and had a lovely experience overall. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and getting there by bus was simple thanks to very clear signage and instructions throughout. While the outdoor tulips hadn’t bloomed yet (which is to be expected that early in the season), the indoor displays more than made up for it — vibrant, beautifully curated, and full of colour. The whole park is set in a stunning landscape, and even without the full bloom, it’s a peaceful and enjoyable place to walk around. I’ll definitely return again — but next time, a little later in the season to catch the gardens in full bloom.

VERY PRETTYY! visited it on march or april and it almost near the end of the season so some flowers are already got cut off, but still the collection is so pretty and it's less crowded! you should also buy and eat the strawberry covered chocolate and some snacks there! i also bought a bus ride from amsterdam from Klook!

My goodness, there is no other garden like this one. The place is huge and spectacular. There are flowers in every colour including black. Flowers are everywhere, left, right, behind and infront of you. The garden is located outside of Amsterdam and reachable by car or the Keukenhof bus which was very efficient. There are many people that visit this garden but you can still navigate easily if you come the earliest possible when the garden open. There are places on site to buy lunch and/or snacks. It is a bit pricey but the quality was really good so that worked out well. An amazing experience, I spent over 4 hrs at the garden, and took hundreds of photos. It is a must visit on anyone's list that loves tulips. It is a must to see the creativity in gardening, how much planning went into that, how much work was done, incredible experience for me.

It's a good tour and interactive afterwards. We have a six year old and a two year old; I feel that charging the same price (€25) for a 0, 1 or 2 year old as adults is a bit much. Our two year old was scared in the experience, as the dark rooms, lights and heartbeat sounds were quite intimidating without her understanding the context.

Very interesting museum about the human body. The children had fun, they have 2 parts of museum, one interactive and one to discover more by reading and watching more videos.I think between 2-3 h are more than sufficient to allocate for this museum.

It is very close to Leiden city and highway. Has a closed parking space incld EV charging. Museum is well designed, mostly enhanced with videos and lightshows. There are several educative activites after the museum. Mostly suitable for children.

Old, overhyped and overpriced. I did enjoy the first part of the museum where you 'walk inside your body.' It is well-made and well explained. After the tour with audio guide, you come to the second part where you see visual materials and read the panels. It felt quite old and meant mainly for young children, probably below 8. My two children aged 9 and 12 though it was too childish and not attractive, so we just walked past and left the museum. Overall I felt it isn't worth the money. Not recommended.

We visited this museum for the first time and we liked it. It was quite interesting to learn more about your body and body. The tour takes place in a small group with an audio guide. It's a pity that you can't take photos and videos while walking, you want to capture this.

To be honest, its Japanese garden was a bit disappointing though it's designed by Japanese. I feel so strange with the rad walls. However, the green house and the other gardens are nice. You can enjoy seasonal flowers. Plants are separated by which area they are native to, which is unique if conpered with the other gardens.

It was a bit disappointing to walk around a rather dull garden at the end of September. If the ticket had cost 5 euros, I would have been satisfied — after all, it’s still a nice place to wander or sit with a cup of tea. But for some reason, paying the full price of 11+ euros left me feeling a bit disappointed

It had been many years since my last visit to the Hortus Botanicus, and I was truly looking forward to seeing it again. While I must admit that the gardens didn’t feel quite as lush and vibrant as I remembered, the visit was still enjoyable. The atmosphere remains wonderfully peaceful, offering a lovely place to stroll and unwind in the heart of beautiful Leiden. Despite the slight change in appearance, the Hortus Botanicus continues to be a charming and tranquil escape well worth a visit.

For the hype, I did not find it lived up to it. It has variety but not as largely spoken of. The Asian gardens are the loveliest and tranquil. The old trees truly awesome. Unless botany is your thing, or in need of some warmth in the cold seasons, I was disappointed.

An absolute must visit if you’re ever in the Netherlands. Such a well-made experience with informative stands everywhere and rich history. And if you get tired, there’s a nice cafe where you can have a coffee with a cake.

The tiny but mighty botanical garden, with its greenhouses, rose garden, Chinese, and Japanese gardens, was enjoyable but did not require much effort. This is one compact garden, and there is enough space to sit and enjoy the views.

Nice and offers a lot of information to those who also read the texts in the greenhouse. You can easily spend 1-2 hours here and it's kids friendly. They have a few specimens of the world's biggest flower and they open in different times. Cute memorabilia in the museum shop.

Great place to visit and grab something to eat and drink. There is something for everyone. Seafood, Mexican, N.A. Beers at the bars, Indian Food and more. Awesome old building that house the maintenance for the old Tram Depot. Along with all the food there is also meeting places and a movie theater.

Great choice of food available, everything we tried was great. Some nights have a DJ playing music, others have other stuff going on. Always busy but we always managed to get a seat/table.

De Hallen is an absolute gem in Amsterdam! The place has such a vibrant atmosphere — a perfect mix of culture, food, and local charm. The food hall offers an incredible variety of dishes from all around the world, and everything I tried was delicious. The interior is stylish yet relaxed, making it a great spot to hang out with friends or enjoy a casual evening. I also loved browsing the small shops and the local art and design corners. Definitely a worthwhile visit when in Amsterdam!

Amazing array of foods, all very fresh and great coffee. Second year visiting here and have loved it both times. We had hot dogs and crepes this time. Both extremely tasty.

We loved it here so much that we came back to it twice, regardless of the fact that we were a young family of four, were over an hour away and had to catch numerous trams to get here! What a cool place with a fantastic vibe. The best part of this experience was all the different options of food available, meaning all four of us could have something totally different to the other person, meaning everyone had their favourite food. Very enjoyable and whilst you might have to have a little patience to wait for seating to become available, it is worth it once you do.

We stayed for 4 days in this hotel and can highly recommend to anyone considering booking it. Beds are soo comfy!! Stuff is excellent, breakfast was decent and location is 20 walking minutes from city centre.

De Hallen is a converted train depot - you can still see the old tracks leading right into the building, which is super cool. Now it’s a beautifully redesigned space with shops, a cinema, and the awesome Foodhallen, where we grabbed a bite. The real highlight is this industrial and stylish character of the whole place. Definitely worth a visit and to soak up the Amsterdam vibe!

A perfect summer day out in a family friendly birds park. Even with the big crowd this place didn’t feel congested. Overall good design of the park made the crowd keep moving and kept the kids entertained. There are enough restrooms and eateries. kids loved the multiple playgrounds. Easy to spend a whole day within budget.

Great park, we had the chance to have a night booked in the hotel, so free entrance to the park (we were there for an event around, not especially for the park). I had a great time looking at animals under the nice weather! You can get really close to some of them 😍

Such a cute zoo! We spend the whole day here and absolutely loved it. It’s not too big, but you can definitely enjoy yourself for a day. The shows are amazing and the bird feeding is a nice experience.

Absolutely worth a visit. We stayed at the hotel and had a free entry, so we simply had to visit the park while we were here. It's so much more than just birds in cages, you can actually walk among some of them and that is really nice. You can tell that the park has been here for a while and is in dire need of upgrades and repairs. That said, it is very relaxing to just walk around and enjoy the scenery.

We had a fantastic family day at Avifauna! From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by the beauty of nature and a wonderful variety of birds and animals—many of which walk right alongside you, making the experience even more magical, especially for the kids. The playground was an absolute highlight! The towering slides are not only impressive to look at (and perfect for some fun photos), but they also offer an adrenaline rush that even the most hesitant thrill-seekers won't be able to resist. There’s so much more than just slides too—karts, a trampoline, and rope climbing adventures kept the whole family entertained for hours. Avifauna offers the perfect blend of wildlife encounters and active play, making it an ideal day out for families. We’ll definitely be back! Tickets online are €1 euro cheaper than at the till, small selection of hot food and snacks also available.

Avifauna is a wonderful place for all ages. The park is beautifully maintained with an impressive variety of birds from all over the world. The enclosures are spacious, and you can really see how well the animals are cared for. The bird shows are both entertaining and educational - definitely a highlight of our visit. There are plenty of areas to sit and relax, and the playground is fantastic for kids. You can also enjoyed a nice lunch at the restaurant with a lovely view over the lake or a coffee in the cafè. Overall, Avifauna is a unique and enjoyable experience - highly recommended if you’re in the Alphen aan den Rijn area!

Nice zoo with a really good kids park. Best to arrange your visit aligned with day plan to see more attractions. I loved Umvikeli, Madagascar and Lori landing. Unfortunately Flamingo area is very crowded :( I think it needs some expansion.

My local park. I love it & so do many many Amsterdamers.. Tourists, everyone. Busy and buzzing. With lots of wildlife and some quiet peaceful areas.. Lovely Rose garden. Playgrounds, Bars, restaurants and concert venue inside. It's a main thoroughfare into the city and in the mornings and evenings it's like a Football game has ended.. Great for running - just about 3.5km all the way around the place but also inline skating and cycling. Walking etc.. Outside smelly Dutch style urinals placed strategically about but also public toilets in the bars.. A long and fairly narrow green lung in the city.

A beautiful park to take a walk to or go by bike!!! If you have time you can just sit on a bench or on the grass and enjoy the calm nature around you. Really a beautiful place!

Vondelpark is amazing, i would just wish that Amsterdam had like 10 of Vondelparks. :) Great place to hang out and walk around out of the hustle and bustle of the city surrounding it. Vondelstraat is also a great neighborhood to walk through.

Walked through this beautiful Vondel park, lots of people taking advantage of this park, walking, running, biking, sitting on benches, sitting on the grass. Many people were here and I found I had to watch myself that I didn’t get in anyone’s way, still glad I checked this area out.

I absolutely loved the park the trees and roses were breathtaking to see in person. The sound of running water added such a calming touch, and the Japanese maples were stunning. It’s the perfect spot for yoga or simply unwinding after a busy day.

Vondelpark is a truly beautiful and relaxing place in the heart of Amsterdam. The park feels peaceful and full of life at the same time, with wide green spaces, winding paths, and lovely ponds. It’s perfect for walking, cycling, or simply sitting on a bench and enjoying the atmosphere. Whether you visit in the morning or at sunset, the scenery is charming and the vibe is welcoming. It’s a wonderful escape from the busy city streets and a must-see for anyone visiting Amsterdam.

Our favorite spot in Amsterdam! We walked and cycled across this park almost every day during our stay in Amsterdam, and each time we found a lovely spot inside this park. They have rose sections which I imagine would be best during spring or early summer. There are public toilets accessible in this park, not sure about the cleanliness.

Boswinkel was lovely as usual. Very friendly staff. Fun and interesting activities for 4-7. We spent an hour here last time. Lovely mounted birds and animals. The interactive stations are interesting. My kids love the boat and the shovels. Attended for an Easter egg hunt, but it was moved inside due to rain... it wasn't really big enough for all the kids and eggs were all found within minutes! Staff made the best of it and everyone went home with chocolate.

My buddy told me about this cool landmark, I took a train from Amsterdam to get there. It was late when I arrived. I didn’t get to view inside the architecture, even though the surface was yellow, you could still clearly see that it was being built for decades. If you’re in the area, you should totally drop by. I solely walked around these innovative houses, had a meal and headed back.

The Cube Houses are truly one of the most unique architectural sights I’ve ever visited. Walking through the area feels almost surreal—the tilted cubes, sharp angles, and bright yellow panels create a playful, futuristic atmosphere. The show house offers a fascinating look at how people actually live in these unconventional spaces, and the views from inside are surprisingly charming. Whether you’re into architecture or just love exploring memorable landmarks, the Cube Houses are absolutely worth a visit.

A definite must visit if coming to Rotterdam. The concept of people living in these unique structures is crazy and it is not too expensive to visit. Note that stairs are narrow so you need to be able to navigate these.

I had a couple of hours layover in Rotterdam so went to check out the cube houses. They are truly uniquebabd it was interesting to see how the architect has integrated storage. Population density in the Netherlands is a constant discussion but once you visit this you realize why they never made any more. Beautiful from the outside, interesting conceptually but definitely ultimate a case of form over function.

An area I had wanted to see every since I heard of its existence in planning our walk through Rotterdam, this did not disappoint. We were pressed for time so we did not enter the museum/show house but did wander through and around marveling at the tilted cubes and how they intertwined to make patios, shops and of course the actual homes. If I ever return to Rotterdam, I am definitely going to put aside time to enter the interior and explore what they have done with all the slanted ceilings and walls.

What a lovely area, just a couple of minutes from the Cube houses and the Markthal and close to a number of hotels such as CitizenM and restaurants such as Fitzgeralds. Blaak station, the Metro and tram are just a few minutes away or you can arrive in foot or by cycle. By day it’s a beautiful, relaxed area: there are lots of seats to sit and watch the world go by. The harbour if full of old and unusual boats many of which have supporting information posted closer by. Also look out for the Calex building which is really stunning and dominates done corner. In the evening the area comes alive as the many bars and restaurants quickly fill up with tourists and locals alike. Slepervest and other short streets are piled with cycles as people enjoy the lovely safe environment. If you are staying close by it’s definitely worth visiting to soak up the atmosphere.

One of my most memorable moments in Amsterdam was strolling through Amstel Park on a Sunday morning in October, sampling foods from the farmer’s market, sipping on coffee, and watching the ducks and birds by the water while enjoying the cool fall breeze. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and take it all in. Truly beautiful and relaxing.

One of the best parks to walk and have fun with kids in Amsterdam. Totally recommended. Plenty of parkings (paid not not expensive) . There are places for food, drinks, toilets. Free and paid playgrounds for kids. Farm animals open from 10 to 3 pm. A bunch of lama van also be seen in there as well.

A core viewing item for tourists is the Erasmusbrug with its sleek lines and modern design. Instantly recognizable. I especially wanted to walk here as i suspected it was near our cruise ship terminal and I wanted to know how to get here if we had any trouble with our shuttle transfers. Super cool to see up close in person. However if you are short on time - it’s just as spectacular viewing from afar. Walking across this bridge doesn’t compare to walking across the Brooklyn Bridge (which is not to be missed in NYC). There wasn’t much to see or do around the Erasmus bridge.

Amazing atmosphere! Even if you’re not a Feyenoord fan, De Kuip is a must visit for any football lover. The food and drinks in the business area are excellent with very friendly service.

It was the best and most detailed your we been on, the tour guide was informative and friendly and explained in English too as we were not natives to the language, but football is a multi lingual uniting game. We travelled from the UK for the tour it was worth it 👌 Reasonably priced and great fun.

De Kuip, the home of Feyenoord, is a historic stadium with a fantastic atmosphere. The fans are incredibly passionate, which makes every match unforgettable.

We’ve been to games all over Europe and the US and this hands down has been the best atmosphere we’ve ever seen. The stadium itself is not great (long lines to enter matches, bathroom situation is terrible, seats and aisles very small and compact) but it somehow adds to the charm. Unbelievable supporters.

We visited this beautiful and serene UNESCO site in September. We enjoyed the boat ride and exploring the two windmills. I am glad to see that they kept these windmills in good conditions so that next generations appreciate them. Definitely worth visiting.

The site is huge and it is very beautiful you can spend the day there and honestly I didn’t take the tour but it is recommended due to the fact that it allows you to see the area better and have a better experience. But the parking was really hard to be found and their parking places are extremely expensive!!

We came here in October on a Thursday so we knew going into it that it was off-season. Getting here via public transit from Rotterdam was a bit of a trek but we managed. We bought tickets and enjoyed all it had to offer. We walked through all the museum spaces, took the water shuttle and the water tour. It was a fun day out in nature to get some fresh air and getaway from the city. It seemed like you could explore the place without buying tickets but to access the museum exhibits, the museum style windmills and the water shuttle, you needed to show proof of tickets. The only thing I'd recommend is bringing your own food as the options were slim and the space to eat filled up quick once the rain started down pouring!

Great castle with loads of artifact to be seen, you can get a real feel for how the people were living at the time. Beautiful art and luxurious ceilings, windows and loving quarters. Also has a outside maze, deerpen and parc like surroundings to roam through.

To visit the Kasteel de Haar it’s an unique experience. It’s very well preserved and organised, with explanations of the rooms and spaces in multiple languages. My only critic concerns the amount of people that was inside at the same time. It was extremely crowded what made hard to properly appreciate the place. The gardens are also very well taken care of and the flowers are beautiful. Thank you for the experience!

The largest castle in the Netherlands, a really cool place to visit by bike or car, since is a bit outside of the city. The gardens are lovely in every season and the building is really impresive and nice to visit. You have to buy tickets in advance if you want to visit the interiors, they are limited per day.

Wonderful place to visit and easy to find via train/bus and a bit of a walk. The deer park was a highlight. The ticket to visit the interior was worth it for us but easy to imagine a good time just enjoying the outdoor spaces.

Castellum Hoge Woerd is a castellum build on the real Roman castellum that was here more then 2000 years ago. The real castellum is still safe under the ground. Their showpiece is an original Roman boat. This is a perfect day out with children. There are lots of activities, a playground, space to run around, animals to cuddle and lots and lots to see and learn. We had a great day.

There are lakes, areas of sand dunes and paths through a large area of forest. The area has some interesting history and monuments and is a nice place for families and people of all ages.

Sand, forest and quiet! Especially if you pass the areas where dogs can run free. Take a picknick blanket along, and enjoy a spot with a bit of view, on top of a sand dune. There are a lot of things to do in this Nature Reserve, you can do cycling , horse back riding, hiking, mountain biking and so on. We went there for a short hike, but you actually have 7 different routes to choose from depending on your preference. After the hiking, you can always sit and have some refreshment drinks in Bosch en Duin

Stopped here to have trappist beer and Abbey cheese in the tasting room. The inside was large with many tables. We got flights, cheese platter and than a few more beers. The staff were very nice. There's a store on the way out to buy beer to-go and other souvenirs. Free parking. Would recommend a visit!

We visited La Trappe and did the tour and lunch after. We had a reservation ahead of time and glad we did as I believe the tour was full. The tour is a great way to learn about the monastery and brewery operations. And a way to see a little behind the scenes. And after learning quite a bit you get a beer! I didn’t know that the keg/draft and bottled beers were different and it was cool to get to compare them (and even better at the source). The tour guide was funny and informative. The restaurant is large with a good amount of seating inside and out. The menu has many tasty sounding dishes. The food was good not great. The mustard served with my cheese plate was probably my favorite thing. There is a store onsite that sells way more things that I was expecting. Along with the glasses and beer, they sell chocolate, honey, the tasty mustard, soaps and lotions, and cheese. Overall it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re interested in beer or a lunch in pretty setting.

If you're interested in beer, history, and charity with no boundaries, then I would highly recommend visiting here. They offer tours in English in the morning where you learn the history of the monks, get to witness their brewing and bottling operation, and then experience it for yourself at the end of the tour. Our tour guide was friendly, jovial, knowledgeable, and a perfect host during our time there. I regrettably forget his name, but he was a gentleman. The weather was perfect, so we sat outside their tasting room in the beer garden and sampled their fantastic menu of food and drinks. I cannot recommend this place enough and don't forget to visit their gift shop for all kinds of handmade products.

Second time here. And I’ll always come back. The place is beautiful, the tour is very interesting, the food is delicious and the beer… oh, the beer… ❤️ I recommend the tour and the bitterbalen (traditional Dutch croquete). And don’t miss the store. Amazing!!!

Great to learn the process of Trappist Brewery, It was so insightful to know the history and dedication of the Monks ! Testing the beer after the tour was also lekker !! Tour guide was very interactive and expressive ! We ended with some la trappe isid'or and some yuy snacks at the restaurant ..

The excursion of the on-site brewing facilities is a must for beer, specifically Trappist beer, lovers :)) get ready to be charmed by the light-hearted humor of the tour guide and settle in for some top notch food and snacks. Note: Only one English tour per day. Book in advance to avoid surprises ;)

Excellent comfort food and even better beer. Be sure to try the oak barrel aged quad they sell on site over a hot meal. Family and kid friendly for sure. Worth a trip out here and good hospitality. Take the tour if you can. Was the first stop on a beer adventure for us.

Always enjoy visiting here. I recommend to take the boat safari to the top of the park, see the birds of prey show (this is a must in my opinion) and then make your way back down the park. 1 star removed because of the restaurant. 1 person cooking per station during peak season really isn’t a good choice. The workers were incredibly stressed and the customers weren’t making their life easier by complaining. Otherwise the food was good.

Absolutely amazing place!! There’s so much stuff to do for kids, we were out from morning till 10pm at night. All of the staff was soo lovely and helpful and kind! Made us feel so welcome everywhere we went. Magical place full of activities, can’t believe I only just found this place! There’s safari park, beach with play park indoors and outdoors, swimming pools with slides, disco and shows for kids, you can hire bikes, kayaks, paddle boards or just chill in a super nice pub/restaurant while kids run around, it’s all secure and safe.

A perfect place to spend time with family or friends. This time we chose the walking option. We saw all the animals whose signs we passed. Although they have a lot of space, you can still see them in smaller or bigger groep. There are many places along the way where you can stop and sit for a moment. Honestly, I even felt a little sorry for those who chose the car safari when I saw the line of cars. It was a great time, and I think it won't be our last visit to this place.

Had so much fun here. There are many different kinds of animals from all over the world. The only think i did not like was the big birds in cages which should not be allowed. Otherwise it was most certainly worth the trip.

Wow. Words can't describe how amazing this place. Huge safari like in Africa, especially the rooms with animals view - amazing! Please note that the heating system not working 100% as expected, I was cold a little bit, especially in the bathroom and they doesn't have bathrobes. The breakfast is great! A plenty of things to do in the safari!

An unforgettable day at Beekse Bergen Safari Park! The safari experience is incredible seeing lions, giraffes, camels, and rhinos up close feels like being in Africa. The park is spacious, well organized and offers different ways to explore, from car to boat and bus. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is perfect for families or anyone who loves wildlife. A unique experience in the Netherlands that I highly recommend!!!!

Super Park. Sehr empfehlenswert. Nice Parc, very Clean and friendly Personal. Thr price is absolutly correct. It's all inclusive. Lunchtime ist good. Tickets online ist the best way, Its cheaper.
