Through the ages at Kentwell was a fantastic experience. It was a really relaxed day, those participating in the various recreations brought the house and garden to life. All played their characters brilliantly bring humour, realism and education to their roles. The gardens are so unusual and well kept with many unique things to see. Great for all ages with lots of participation. I can’t imagine anyone would be disappointed. A huge thank you to all involved in this wonderfully entertaining event!

Great place. I volunteer there. Lovely house with beautiful gardens and grounds. The place comes alive when they put on one of their events. If you can get to see everything in one visit you are a rare person. There is something for everyone. Wear sensible footwear. Oh and wonderful cakes in cafe

Kentwell Hall, a charming and atmospheric Tudor manor set in the Suffolk countryside, surrounded by peaceful gardens and a wide, tree-lined moat. We visited on a Saturday morning and found it wonderfully quiet, which made exploring the grounds feel even more special. The gardens are varied and beautifully maintained, with both formal and more natural areas to enjoy. We loved strolling through at our own pace, taking in the peaceful atmosphere. There’s also a café on-site serving drinks and some nice cakes - perfect for a mid-morning break. You can also buy fish food to feed the large fish in the moat, which was a fun thing to do. Altogether, it was an enjoyable visit to a place that feels both historic and welcoming.

We have spend a whole day at Kentwell Hall, as there are do much to see and do. As we went when they had the Tudor period on it was nice yo see how they lived, what they were eating, and how they kept themselves busy with all different activities. There was a lot of things for kids to do and participate but also to learn about Tudor times. The only downfall, it was the lack of bins and benches, for visitors to use.

We wanted to spend a last few hours sightseeing before returning home from our 4 day break in Suffolk. Booking the tickets online in advance saved us a few pounds and was very easy to do. Kentwell was fabulous, we spent a very interesting and pleasant hour in the grounds including the Tudor Farm. We then visited the house and it was fantastic, a very interesting place to visit, a real treasure.

Stunning, largely original Elizabethan moated house. Much of the massive service area looks like it was vacated yesterday. The ovens, the open hearth, the massive copper (laundry tub) all ready to go. Plus all the murals in their rooms above - which the puritans must have missed. Just brilliant and I work as a guide at an open air museum in Sussex of same period so not easily impressed. Also it's very relaxed - not like the usual suspects

#Scaresville 2025 was awesome ! Actors do a great job of emersing you in the experience and time their scares just right 👌🏻. The whole experience lasted a good hour and they do a great job ensuring you don't catch up to the groups in front. So funny hearing screams in the distance as you walk around. Really was great fun, will definitely be coming back next year ! 👻

Great day out with the family with some great weather. The gardens are not too big and have family games or enjoy with little once. Nice cafe with scones. There are national trust tours revealing some interesting stories about the house and the estate.

Lovely cosy house, very knowledgeable volunteers, the present owners still live in one of the wings. Very nice tea room and cafe for snacks or lunch, good second hand book shop. We enjoyed our two hour visit.

Been to Melford Hall twice and each time I discover something new. It’s a beautiful home that is still owned by the family, but partially owned by the @nationaltrust. It has had many revamps due to fire and different owners, but it is a lovely intriguing building with ties to Queen Elizabeth the first and Beatrix Potter. My favourite room would be the Drawing room at Th e top of the sweeping staircase! Definitely worth a visit. The guides are a wealth of knowledge so asking them questions makes it more fun. Chris as well as he others are a wealth of knowledge, but don’t forget to ask if they are #sconeAsinGone. Oh, and the gardens are lovely too. I liked that they are wheel chair friendly downstairs and that you can actually borrow a scooter. It was also nice to see that they try to make it as inclusive as possible.

A love the scale of this place, it feels so intimate. There are some very sweet touches, like baskets of games for children, all around the grounds. Badminton and huge draughts game set up on the front lawn. We'll be back!

Another good day out at a national trust house. Good grounds easy to walk and an interesting Georgian house, with s strong connection to Beatrix Potter.

Interesting visit to Melford Hall today. Steeped in history it goes back to the 16th century. Nice little cafe there also with outside tables and picnic area. Beatrix Potter wrote some of her books whilst staying there and they and they even have the original Jemima Puddle-Duck on display. Extensive grounds with pleasant walks, all in all a pleasant day out

Interesting house, where the family still reside. Some wonderful architecture and furniture. Volunteers extremely knowledgeable. Not much in the way of formal gardens but expansive parkland.

I cannot express how amazing this farm is! The staff were absolutely incredible, my friends son and my daughter have SEN needs and one of them being in a wheelchair and as accessible as a farm goes, it was very much what was to be expected. The animals were absolutely gorgeous, we definitely went at the right time as there were lots of gorgeous lambs which I got to hold, little chicks we held also and as for the staff KILEY, you were fabulous, keeping everyone informed on all the animals, making us laugh which still being very informative. Such an amazing experience. We are from Kent and we would travel up there on a regular basis for that experience! Thank you so much for such a wonderful day!

Visited the farm today for an Adult farm experience day……Fantastic afternoon spent with Farmer Kiley and Finn…..well organised ….We had such a lovely time seeing all the animals and being able to get close and handle them, feeding cows, goats, alpacas and various other farm animals and even hand milking a cow. A very informative tour around the family run farm, would definitely recommend this to any animal lovers.

This was my second visit to Boydells Dairy Farm and it was just as enjoyable as the first. It’s a very hands-on experience...you can milk a cow, hand feed the lambs, stroke guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens, goats and even a turkey. The farmer is great at explaining everything in a way that’s both funny and informative, so it keeps both children and adults engaged. You can also hold a chick, walk around to see the sheep, horses and donkeys and we even got to stroke a baby alpaca. If you have young children, they’ll love the tractor ride, which is just £1 per child. There’s a picnic area, so it’s worth bringing food, and the farm shop is reasonably priced with cuddly toys and fresh eggs laid by the chickens. A lovely day out...we’ll definitely be back again next year.

Such a gorgeous location, a beautiful farm with gorgeous animals in good health. Lovely members of staff who are very knowledgeable and passionate, always something going on and so many beautiful things for children to get involved in. Reasonably priced entry and a gorgeous picnic area too.

We had such a great time at the farm — not once did we hear the words “I’m bored!” The experience was the perfect mix of fun and learning. The kids (and adults!) had a blast meeting the animals, and we all walked away having learned so much about them. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were amazing — full of interesting facts and the kind of cheesy dad jokes that had everyone laughing. It’s clear a lot of care and love goes into running this place. Highly recommend for families looking for a memorable day out. We’ll definitely be back! 🐐🐓🐄🌾

Fun place for shopping at good prices, lots of options for any budget. Many places for lunch as well! We liked it and recommend to visit!

Great place to visit for big brands and save some money. Plenty of parking across the road but it does have a 6 hour max parking limit. I know this is plenty of time but if you spend the day here shopping, eating and using the cinema or swimming pool, you could easily be here longer than 6 hours. So just be conscious of time. There are disabled and parent and child spaces available. There was some building work going on in the car park today so a lot of the parent and child spaces were inaccessible but this will only be temporary. Plenty of restaurants to choose from in the retail park side and there are a few in the village too. There are some smaller vans/cafés inside the shopping area too. Only knocked off a star because there a quite a few empty units and it's really noticeable. Definitely needs some other shops opening up soon. Overall it's a great place that I'd recommend any time.

This place is fantastic for shopping, offering a diverse range of items. The best part? Parking is free for the first 6 hours! I couldn’t get enough of the Nike store, where you got an amazing 50% off all footwear I'll definitely be returning soon.

Great shopping outlet with plenty of both high street and designer shops so you can buy pretty much anything. There are also numerous restaurants so everybody is catered for. Ample parking and easy to get to. The shops are all outdoors so remember a coat in the winter! Will definitely go back.

I have visited this outlet location after a long time. Some stuff deserve attention but overall it's not as cheap as you expect to be for an outlet. Good vibe , a place to go out for an afternoon especially during the weekend. Avoid places like Nike outlet or any other over hyped brand, being packed with people messing everything shelved or displayed. Coffee is coffee, sweets are sweets, parking your car and getting out need skills, energy and time. If you're local, great, if not.....

Lovely place for kids and dogs. Car park charge is a little bit on the dear side, £4.2 for 2h, but I guess they need to spend a lot on the maintenance of the site.

Lovely country park to have a picnic, go for a walk, sit quietly round the lakes or picnic benches. Lots of open spaces for people, dogs, children to run & enjoy the outside. Parking bit expensive. Biggest issue is cafe not only open at wkends!? Ridiculous! Toilets open till 4pm. Thoroughly enjoyed out time there meeting family, walking dogs. We were lucky with we had glorious weather but no shelter if it rains.

Really nice park, clean and well kept. Easy parking and easy to pay when you leave. Didn't walk too far but I think there are a few trails you can walk around. Took a picnic The sky ropes are brilliant, decent for the kids Good few hours.. 👍

Great day out for kids, lots of entertaining things to play with and explore as you walk or cycle round. Nice little cafe as well.

Perfect size park with different kinds of playgrounds spread across the whole park which makes the experience even more fun for the kids. It's not 5 stars because the cafe was closed during the bank holiday, sky rope was also closed and the football pitches were only available after paying quite expensive fees. Car park fees were not cheap but reasonable, especially if you plan to stay more than 4 hours. Worth the visit.

Parking is terrible as payment is by app only and there is little to no mobile signal at the park making it very difficult to pay. I happily use parking apps normally but the owners need to make sure it is actually possible to use mobile payments. Conversely the cafe is cash only. The park itself is fairly well maintained with good paths though a lot of the play equipment is out of order.

Despite there being a toddler area marked on the plan, in reality there wasn’t much for very young children, not even a toddler swing. Looks really good for older children though. Fortunately my granddaughter liked the sand.

An interesting and charming place. We sat in the inner garden because we had our dog with us. It was very cozy and relaxing there, perfect for a peaceful break. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even brought our dog a bowl of water without us asking, which was a lovely touch. We only ordered cream tea since we weren’t very hungry. Everything was delicious and nicely served. There’s also a small but interesting museum on site, along with a shop that has an endless variety of jam flavors. Overall, a wonderful and enjoyable place to visit.

As always, a very pleasant experience. We brought our sister (in-law) who was over from Australia. She really enjoyed the whole experience. The food was lovely and we all enjoyed a visit to the museum and shop.

What a wonderful experience at the Tiptree Tea Room, definitely worth a visit. We had the afternoon tea, which was delicious and very filling. You choose your sandwiches, so we opted for an egg mayonnaise and a sausage & cheese Toastie. The scones were warm, served with cream and Tiptree strawberry jam. We also enjoyed the mini cakes, the carrot cake and bakewell tart were particularly tasty. Although it was slightly busy, we didn't have to wait long for a table and the staff were all friendly and helpful.

My wife and I came here for lunch with our dog. We had a seat out in their secret garden. They even gave us a little doggy menu for our furry friend. My wife went for the quiche and I had the goats cheese and chilli jam toasted sandwich. Of course we also got a nice bowl of chicken for the furry one. The food was really nice, the bowel of chicken lasted about 3 seconds max. Thank you for a lovely lunch.

The whole table thought the breakfast was absolutely delish and such a gorg environment, highly recommend cream tea!!!

What can I say but for a tea room it sells really nice coffee. My only let down was that they don't do a large size coffee. Good selection of foods and treats and the store next door sells all the products produced on site. And finally, access to the museum is also in the tea room so you don't have to walk far for a bit of jammy education.

A nice park with plant centre, souvenir shop, rose garden, lily pond, fruits and vegetables garden, restaurant and exhibition hall. It’s a lovely place to spend a weekend with family and friends. Simply love the landscape with lots of beautiful plants and flowers. The food at restaurant is good too!

What a wonderful place. I went for a solo walk and had the best time wandering through the gardens. They’re full of colour, beautifully cared for, and there’s such a calm, happy feel everywhere you go. I went mid-week during term time. The sunshine made it even better. Perfect for anyone who loves nature, fresh air, and a bit of peace and quiet. Highly recommend

Nice gardens and displays, attentive staff although potentially a little too attentive on arrival. Unfortunately a few sections were closed on my visit for maintenance or works, so can’t give a full 5 star review. Prices are also very high making it less accessible for those on lower incomes.

It is away from city. Has a restaurant, lots of car parking. Bus facility is lesser. Nature lovers will like the place. The place seems beautiful with different flowers also peaceful. One could watch the colorful sections generally within an hour.

Beautiful, ever changing gardens. Plan to go back in a different season. Don’t think I had a favourite area, all so lovely. I would imagine there is plenty to see whatever time of year you visit. Friendly staff in the cafe. Lovely cakes. Sandwiches were very tasty, but lacked a respectable amount of filling.

Beautiful garden though a bit hard to get to on a weekday by train and buses. Shuttle bus available only at weekends. Love the rock garden and the restaurant with great scenic views. 😎My favourite is the Global Growth Vegetable Garden. Learned so much about origin of the most common vegetables. Love all the sculptures in the garden and the beautiful thatched house. Excellent food and love their cheese scone. Saw lots of robins. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Great shop too. Wonderful day out.

My first visit and not my last, didn’t realise the history of the place or the area. It is a place that cannot be done in one visit, there is so much to see. The garden centre has plants that are well worth buying and they are competitive priced, the compost is far superior in quality to what I have been buying elsewhere and I now will continue to purchase!

It was an excellent day trip. Nice weather made it really worth it. Plenty of parking, beautiful walking trails,plenty of area for sitting both indoor and out door. Friendly staff at the coffee shop. Plenty of option avaliable at the coffee shop reasonably priced. Good place for day trip with family. I will definitely visit again.

Great place to go for a stroll whatever the time of year. Lots of different walks around the reservoir. Plus there are a number of bird hides to observe the wildlife on the water. There are a couple of car parks with toilets and cafes. Parking is free which is somewhat unusual these days. Highly recommend a visit.

Great place for day out with the kids. Make sure you park your car at the visitor center side of the reservoir then you can collect a map and pencil for the hunt for the wind in the willows charectors in the woods then onto the fishing lodge which has a nice small. Coffee shop with plenty of outdoor seating.

Love it! Great fun. Great night out. Easy to make bets once you understand how to do it (the pamphlet you get on entry has a brilliant how to!). The only downside is that there aren’t enough people on the desks on busy race days (Friday and Saturday nights) so the queues to place or settle bets could take a long time. You don’t have to bet though and just enjoy the festivities!

Visited with my son's. We hadn't been for years. Parked easily in there free car park. There is free entry on a Wednesday, but they offered a pack online for £10 each (Only for 18+) which includes a racecard, drink & quick bites meal (Cheeseburger / Hotdog & Fries) Plus re-entry with a racecard on a Friday/Saturday in the next 3months. It's a really good deal, (burger on it's own was £4). It's a shame they don't offer a deal for under 18's without the racecard though. The 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed it, despite it being very quiet and very wet later on. We had a few small bets, won a few but lost more🤣 Very enjoyable night. We will look forward to coming again. For those that live outside of the M25 as we are, remember that Romford is in the ULEZ.

Did afternoon meal with a group, had a great time with great staff who looked after our group. Only had 1 problem with four people who sat on one of our tables and refused to move. Not the venue or staffs fault, just a group of selfish people who hopefully didn't get any winners.

Had a work night out here at the Paddock restaurant. Was a brilliant night. The staff were attentive the food was really good. Could have 3 courses. Our tables were just above the finish line too. Was helpful with the guy coming round to take our bets. First time going to the dog races and would certainly do it again. Parking is limited but we knew that going.

Free parking for customers if you get there before gates open. Smooth entrance and God seating areas. Bar prices are excellent, less than £30 for 6 drinks. Good service at the tote desks Well recommended for a great night of entertainment

We’ve been to this theatre many times, they always have a good array of shows and this particular one, Bowie Experience, was no disappointment. Atmosphere was great which I think is what attending your local theatre should be all about and of course supporting them.

Went to see Shock Horror yesterday. Hats off to the main protagonist. He had a lot to do and he did it marvellously. Well done to all involved in the production. I love this little theatre. Value for money, entertaining and right on your doorstep!

Lovely community theatre. I went to see Buffy Revamped which was brilliant for any Buffy fan and hugely entwetaining. I also saw Sherlock here which was really enjoyable and I am going again in a few weeks to see a Horror show. I am not exactly local but it is easy enough to get to on the District Line and there is a car park next door. Nice bar and cafe with snacks and drinks and friendly staff.

A great local theatre, with exceptional seating, offering a wide range of good quality productions and theatrical events. Well worth a visit.

Recently took part in a multicultural workshop here. Great atmosphere, polite and helpful staff...lovely little coffee shop in foyer space.

Great show and no bad views in this theatre. Would've been 5⭐️ if only we could've got an interval drink! Small bar and very long queue. We had to go thirsty until show was over...bar doesn't appear fit for purpose. But a good night was had otherwise.

Went to see the Cinderella production with partners' grandchildren. Love this theatre as plenty of leg room and no matter where you sit in theatre you get a good view. The show was excellent for both adults and children. They gave children booster seats. Children were aged 10 and 8, respectively, and they loved the show, as did us adults. Recommend Cinderella performance 👌

First time doing an escape room and it was such a fun experience - me and my friends loved it so much that we’re already planning our next visit. The place is so easy to find, with parking right outside. Our host Ashley was wonderful, so friendly and accommodating and explained everything really well. 5 of us did the Hidden Relics room - challenging but super fun and such an awesome concept. We escaped with just over 15 minutes to spare but it didn’t feel like the time went too quickly. It was so well organised and the set which consisted of travelling through 3 separate rooms and the props were amazing and well put together. I’ll definitely be back to try out some of the other rooms!!

What a thrilling experience again here, this time we escaped Twister and the Clinic! George is the most welcoming escape room assistant and always makes time for us! Twister has been the best so far, thumbs up to the Relic and to Bomb squad as well! Nickita, Eddie and Lily cannot wait for Medusa!

Not too complicated story lines and games compared to others I have been to. The room deco and special effects were great. Loved the themes of the games. Came here with my partner for the Halloween escape room, George and Emma are amazing hosts and was so funny and friendly, they really made our day. The escape room was incredible, i’ve never been to one like it, the theme and decorations were beautiful. You could tell that a lot of time and effort was put into the rooms to ensure happy customers:) 100% recommend going here!

I've done many escape rooms before this and nothing holds a candle to the quality and sheer variety of this room. The host was excellent, he was perfect and we all had a great time. Team KiMCHi room Medusa, second place no clues!

Great experience for my son’s birthday. Hosts were so lovely too. Look forward to trying other escape rooms here.

Wow!! What a great adventure we had, wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it was!! 4 of us went, it wasn’t easy but made it all the way with 3 seconds to go!! If you like a mystery challenge the escape rooms is the one!!

Had a good time with family, spent around 2hrs at the venue.kudos to the entire team for excellent crowd control. Around 80% of the wax statue look stunning and fantastic, rest felt like a dummy one. The special attraction was "Spirit of London" ride, which is a themed taxi ride through the city's history, and not a conventional train ride. The ride uses iconic black cabs to take visitors on a 5-minute journey through London's history and cultural events which also includes wax figures, immersive exhibits, and a 4D cinema.

Had a great time! There’s quite a collection to explore, with some truly fascinating stories, science section and even a few spooky horror rooms. The organisation and presentation were excellent, and the cable ride through centuries of history was absolutely epic! I didn’t see many staff around, but I didn’t really need any help. Overall, I had an amazing time and would highly recommend it!

I had an amazing experience at the Madame Tuassads London. I have already been to other places but this one was different. In addition to various wax statues there was a ride which was very beautiful. Also there was 3D show which was star of the whole lot. Would highly recommend even if you have visited other wax museums. Its clean and wait time is not much.

Madame Tussauds was such a fun experience! The wax figures look unbelievably real ,it’s like walking through a celebrity world. The Marvel and Royal Family sections were my favourites. It does get busy, but totally worth it for the photos and the atmosphere.

I was a bit hesitant about going here, if it's really worth the money... And it is! We enjoyed this interactive experience very much! It's fun and I very much appreciated it is not just the wax figures (which are impressive by themselves), but I was excited about the Marvel 3D experience, the little "taxi" drive through the history of London or the scary horror cellar :) What was dissapointing was the price of the photos they take for you (25 pounds?!). But otherwise perfect way to spend a memorable afternoon (at least 3 hours recommended!), totally recommended. PS: pleasant surprise at the end of our visit was the London Eye tickets for 10£ offer.

What a place to visit. The world meets in London and I hope it continues that way. Everything is well organized, spaced and placed. It’s my second time in there and am keen to go back more times. This is not a one day visit you need few times to cover the whole Musuem. Recommend to come with comfortable shoes

Went on a Thursday in half term time, it was incredibly busy, loads of children! It was still a nice experience for my kids, they loved it. You need a couple of days to visit the whole museum, especially if you are looking to study anything in particular. Limited choices on thw food in the food court area and expect London prices but there is also a high end restaurant at the top. Own food and drinks are permitted only in the designated area. We will definitely come again to see and study other areas.

A Must-see Museum! You can literally feel the history of the world here. It’s free to visit; however, when you think about all the pieces taken away from their motherlands, it does feel a bit bittersweet. :) Make sure to book your tickets in advance — it gets busy! The ambiance will truly astonish you the moment you step inside.

A visit to The British Museum is a rewarding but demanding experience. To make the most of your trip, book your free ticket online in advance. The British Museum is truly timeless. It was my fourth visit, yet it still felt magical. My kids loved the Egyptian mummies — their excitement was contagious! As a Chinese visitor, I felt proud yet emotional seeing so many treasures from my homeland. The collections are stunning, though the crowds can be intense. Entry is free, but booking online helps you get in faster. This museum isn’t just about history — it’s about humanity, memory, and reflection. A must-visit for anyone coming to London.

Wonderful experience. We travelled to Waterloo by train and hopped on boat to London Bridge for the Tower which was easy and entertaining. The Tower was fascinating, such history. The poppy installation was fantastic. A really good day.....but you need comfy walking shoes!

Great day out. Went on a weekend and not too busy outside of peak season. Crown Jewels clearly the highlight, and didn’t disappoint - displays nicely spaced out, not too much content to overload younger ones and up to date, but there’s also so much more to see. Poppy display was superb, exotic animals, Yeoman tour and White Tower also worth the time, with the latter having interactive area for children. Nice day out and good to take a picnic (though not lots of spaces to sit and eat).

Enjoyed all the history The Ravens were alot bigger than I imagined. The crown Jewels were amazing and loads of gold pieces of various objects the punch bowl was massive. All the beefeaters were friendly and helpful.

Thoroughly enjoyed talking the self guided tour. The glass floor gives a unique view of the Thames, but can be slightly unnerving. The engine room has the two steam engines, used to power the bascules, on display. Over all, it's very good venue for money.

Taking the Tower Bridge Exhibition tour made the visit even better, as it gave detailed insights into how the bridge was built and the fascinating mechanism behind its operation. Walking across the glass floor was a unique highlight too, giving a completely different perspective of the bridge and the river below. The site is very well maintained and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing to keep in mind is that you may need to wait in a queue for entry, and on a sunny day this can feel a bit frustrating. Still, it’s not just a landmark to admire from outside, but also an educational and memorable experience to explore from within. Definitely worth visiting.

Walking near Tower Bridge is honestly one of the nicest things to do in London, especially if you’re trying to escape the busy streets without leaving the city. The view is unreal – you’ve got the bridge itself, which looks straight out of a postcard, the river Thames calmly flowing, and plenty of spots to just sit and chill. There’s something peaceful about hearing the water and watching the boats go by, even when there are tourists around. At sunset, the whole area lights up in warm colours and it feels kinda magical. It’s also surprisingly clean and safe, even in the evening. Loads of nice little cafes and street food stalls around if you fancy a bite, and the walk towards the south bank or down to St Katharine Docks is worth it too. You get a mix of old-school charm and modern city vibes. Would definitely recommend it for a date, a solo unwind walk, or just to take some beautiful photos. 10/10 – calming, scenic, and very London.

The Tower Bridge is a great stop if you're in the nearby area, and provides about 30min to 1 hour diversion. Combined with the free audio tour, great views complete with partial glass floor in one section, historic awe of the building process, and gift shop at the end - I would highly recommend if you're in the area. There are lifts for the tower, but I suggest/recommend you take the stairs getting some insight, facts and touch of history on the way up and down. There are benches to rest, toilets but no Air Con for most of it, however fans throughout provide plenty of relief - 84 degrees and it never felt sweltering inside. Learn how the bridge was designed, constructed and changes over the years - in particular the engine room videos and presentation on divers were really great. And whenever you're done walk along the Thames River path near the wharf and grab a bite to eat.

Good view from the top from a perspective you won't see otherwise. Short video of old footage of London was good. Information boards everywhere to enlighten visitors. On the London Pass so that makes it better value.

Visiting The National Gallery was truly a magical experience. From the moment I entered, I was captivated by the atmosphere and every room tells a different story through its paintings. The layout makes it easy to explore, and the colors, details, and emotions in each artwork are breathtaking. It’s not just a museum but it’s a journey through art and history that leaves you inspired and full of wonder.

It was a wonderful experience. The museum has a good collection of Monet and Van Gogh paintings, which I really enjoyed. For just an afternoon, it’s possible to see everything without getting too tired, though you could easily spend a whole day if you want to study the works in detail. We visited on November 17, and there was also a Christmas market outside the museum, which added a very festive atmosphere.

A very spacious series of galleries housing some of the best known images in the international art world. With a restaurant and toilets and plenty of friendly guides you can easily spend a day here, or just pop in and revisit your favourites. It may look daunting from the outside but the new entrance makes the whole place accessible for anyone. Children of any age will find something to look at and many school trips visit and no they don't disturb the 'grown ups'! A teashop, restaurant, bookshop and well stocked shop make this a day, or two to remember.

I can say that I love this museum. Seeing such a collection of paintings for free is just amazing nowadays. There are beautiful paintings in every room. I could spend a day to visit it. Just do not forged taking a map at the entrance as this is a pretty large museum. French, Spanish, Italian, English, Deutsche… painters from middle age to impressionists. A pretty large collection of Impressionists paintings that can rival with that of Musée d’Orsay in France. Only the Louvre in France is more impressive (but far from being free) among all painting museums that I visited all other the world (with a special notice for Grenoble and Poitier’s painting museum that are great place to visit too).

The National Gallery, a one place to see history through paintings. As usual this gallery is free for entery and quite big so plan ahead. You can book free online ticket or walkin. Tube connectivity is there. Plan to enjoy and take photos from outside squar also. There is a paid washroom available outside. You get chance to see a lot of historical paintings and know about the artist. Due to limited time I was not able to complete it. Wear comfortable shoes and carry water if possible.

I visited the National Gallery today and absolutely loved it. It’s an absolute must visit place when in London, and you can spend hours wandering from room to room, never running out of things to look at. One of the highlights for me was seeing some of Monet’s pieces in person, a moment I’ve been looking forward to for so long. Standing in front of his work felt surreal, and it was worth the entire trip on its own. I highly recommend paying the galley a visit, especially because it’s free entry!

If you’re in London, you must visit this place. I stopped by during an 8 hour layover, and even though I couldn’t take my time the way I wanted to, it was absolutely worth it. The collection is stunning, wall after wall of masterpieces you could spend hours admiring. I barely scratched the surface and already felt amazed. I’ve been wanting to take the kids on The London Eye for a while but I’m glad I waited until they were older otherwise I think they would have got bored after a while! We came during the summer holidays so the weather was nice and the views were beautiful. I pre booked for the best ticket prices and to take advantage of the £20 per adult and £18 per child special offers. We enjoyed it and the kids were able to spot famous buildings which was fun 😁 The only let down was that there were alot of us in our cabin as we were grouped up with a large family with limited seating so after a while of standing i had to sit on the poles due to issues with my knee and the kids sat on the floor. It was a busy day and I think the staff filled the cubicle to capacity This is something to bear in mind for those that may have ailments or disabilities where they need to sit down. Other than that it is worth the visit, we didn’t wait long in the queue and they also take pictures and give you a card with a QR code which can be scanned so you can purchase the pictures after your ride which is nice 😊

The London Eye is an interesting experience that I was glad that I went on, but I am not sure if I would recommend. It offers great views of the city but I understand that The Shard and Sky Garden also can do this. Heck, the coffee shop at Tate Modern also has great views and it is free to go up. We had booked a time and were waiting for our slot, when we arrived 15 minutes early to join an extremely long queue. I was very surprised how quickly the line went and we actually boarded the ride at our allocated time. I suspect if we arrived early (within reason), we could have got on sooner rather than waiting around. Getting on and off was easy, even though the ride didn't stop. The entire trip lasted about 30 minutes and was very relaxing. Obviously the views were great, but I `think that I would have spent less time if I had gone up the Shard or Sky Garden, as the ride seemed to trudge along. The are definitely opportunities to get discounted tickets: book online or in the visitor centre or with the London Pass. Since the line went quick, I wouldn't pay extra for a fast path.

Right next to the houses of Parliament and across from Westminster Abbey just down the road from Buckingham Palace. And then there is number 10. Definitely make time to go to this iconic land Mark.

At first I was worried I wouldn’t be able to follow the system or get myself lost. Which I did, end up going the wrong way. But it’s actually so easy to follow, it’s good to make a few errors as then you will be conscious of ensuring you’re on the right tube. London Underground is amazing and it is really easy to get around and see places. I would walk around central London. Use the underground when going further afield. The trains are very regular, you will find they can get very busy, packed. Don’t feel you need to squeeze in, just wait for the next train as it will add to your experience and enjoy it better. As you would anywhere just be vigilant of your surroundings. I felt very safe, as a solo traveler I was very surprised.

As a visitor, you can’t ask for a better system to get about to major museums, etc. You get to ride with both the working class and executives alike. Iconic London ! Takes a little getting used to, if you need to travel in the City, it’s the way to go. As a visitor, we purchased a Visitor Oyster Card online, it’s a fantastic deal. Recommended.

This is a good way to get around London. The new trains and updated stations are good. It is easy to get a ticket and to get around. However, the ventilation is poor, horrible, hot, and sweaty. It makes for an unbearable and uncomfortable ride. However, some of the trains and train stations have proper ventilation and air but most do not. I only take one train with no transfers, which is all that I can bear, and walk just to be outside where I can breath easy. I caution you to only ride when necessary and recommend you walk outside if able.

These shops are all closed for good. I could rattle on about the good old days, (people actually pay to hear about it) and a book would be better; it would take a book, pdf, file, whatever to explain how much it has changed. Point? Many but the main one is: Thanks to Bid Rigging the same people keep getting rich fulfilling contracts that do nothing but cosmetic change. I'd rather see the old retailers (driven out by sky high rent, business taxes, business rates that the the big corporate retailers. Btw/ if you come to London be prepared to lug your suitcase up and down many flights of stairs. Of course the bureaucracy will point to "no step access" (only lawsuits by disabled brought that in) and there are more lifts (elevators), yes this is better than nothing - - lucky find one lift 20 years ago. The old, dirty, extremely noisy rolling stock in Central London is the same. Recently you could still find "MetroCamell" 1973. John Lennon probably on one. Sure, they Spent £16 Billion over budget and late) on a new Elizabeth Line. It's a nice reflection on what we have - - tourists are in central London for the sights, not off to Abby Wood (the other one) and to have them riding the clittering, clanking, clattering collection of caligenous junk - - (think Wizard of Oz to the Tin Man) is a disgrace.

Coming from Manchester we need this in the city.... Yes its a bit dim, dark and dirty.... But what a brilliant, cheap and quick way to get around....

I recently visited the V&A with a friend to see the Cartier Exhibition. It was great, even though it was a bit crowded, which meant no hanging about. However, there were opportunities to return to an exhibit if you wished. I visited on a lovely autumn afternoon and the colourful trees outside added to my enjoyment. There's also a beautiful cafe for a wide selection of food and drinks. It's one of my favourite museums to visit as they put on great exhibitions on a wide variety of subjects. I recommend it highly as a wonderful place to visit anytime.

As someone who’s lived in England for years, I can honestly say the V&A never gets old. What surprised me the most on my recent visit was just how incredible the ceramics collection is. If you’re even slightly into pottery, porcelain, glazes, or anything to do with craft and kiln work, you’ll be blown away. There are shelves and walls filled—and I mean filled—with pieces from all over the world, from tiny delicate bowls to massive vases taller than a child. You could easily spend half a day in the ceramics section alone. And it’s not just ceramics. The museum has an impressive range of sculptures as well—scrubbs, marble carvings, classical statues, and pieces that make you wonder how on earth someone carved something so smooth out of stone. You walk through a hall and suddenly you’re surrounded by history in 360 degrees. The jewellery gallery is another highlight. It’s not just “oh that’s pretty”—it’s genuinely fascinating. Crowns, brooches, rings, intricate metalwork… some pieces are hundreds of years old, shining under the lights like they were made yesterday. One thing I really love about the V&A is how hands-on it feels. They’ve got sections where you can take a closer look at materials, textures, and even a few areas where touching certain samples is allowed. And if you love photography or design, the V&A has a bit of everything—fashion, textiles, prints, historical photos. It’s like a treasure chest that never ends. Honestly, if you’re truly into art, craftsmanship, or history, one day is nowhere near enough. You think you’ll breeze through it, but the more you look, the more there is. It’s the kind of place where you follow one hallway, and suddenly you’ve discovered an entirely new world. So yes—highly recommended. If you’re visiting London, the V&A should be right near the top of your list. Free entry, world-class collections, and genuinely inspiring. Come for an hour and you’ll wish you stayed the whole day.

The artifacts linked to Maharaja Ranjit Singh—his weapons, jewelry, and artistic treasures—were beautifully preserved and displayed with great respect. Seeing them filled me with immense pride for my heritage. The staff at the museum were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Each section was well-explained and thoughtfully organised. For anyone interested in Punjab, Sikh history, or Indian heritage, the V&A Museum is truly a treasure. I highly recommend this museum to every traveller visiting London. It’s not just a museum—it’s a place where you feel connected to your roots.

A Truly Remarkable Day! I simply can't recommend the membership strongly enough! My visit to the Marie Antoinette exhibition today was truly remarkable. Not only was the collection breathtaking, but the staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout the day. My daughter and I wore period-style Marie Antoinette costumes, and it was lovely to feel welcomed and celebrated. Every single person we encountered was charming and pleasant. What a fantastic museum experience!

Free to enter for their main exhibits, except for special exhibitions. But there's plenty to see and explore in the different courts, organised by theme, geographical area and time period. Wheelchair accessible Look out for the giant statue of David in the Cast Courts, as well as the rather large pillar of Trajan. Also, the collection of sculptures donated by Auguste Rodin. If you like Jewellery, head up to 2F.

You can book a time slot ticket for free online before hand. This ensures you dont have to queue if it gets too busy. Truly a must visit Museum in London. There are so many different exhibitions that you can easily spend 3 hours here. Of course the main attraction is the Blue whale skeleton, called hope. It weighs 4.5tonnes and measures 25.2m long. This is a real blue whale skeleton and not a model! Can you imagine! There is a dinosaur exhibition and for your info, most of the bones on display are actual dinosaur bones! If you see its dated, then its real dinosaur bones. Other than that there are other paid exhibitions available throughout the museum.

The museum is well-maintained and full of interesting collections. Natural History Museum in London and was truly impressed. The building itself is stunning with its grand architecture and detailed interior. The dinosaur and gemstone exhibits were fascinating and well-organized. I especially enjoyed the interactive sections that make learning fun for both kids and adults. Spending few hours here may not enough. I recommend booking paid tickets for elderly visitors.

Always love going to museums where ever I go to take in the local perspective. It is free entry with donation recommended, which is easy once you see what this place has to offer. This would have been one of the larger sites I have visited in my travels. It has a large variety of collections spanning several floors. I really enjoyed most of the galleries I saw, with their interactive displays that complement the static representations. We literally spent all afternoon their until close and still didn't get a chance to see the whole building. Missing out on the Darwin, and some of the green sector. From what we did see the rest of the place would be just as amazing. Since it's free entry it can definitely be a 2 day walk about. The place is large and requires a bit of sauntering. There are lots of benches and presentations that you can sit while you watch. Which is nice for those who have mobility challenges. Overall, a great visit but if you really like to hit every inch, it's a whole day visit so keep that in mind.

Well kept clean and spacious. Wheel chair acess though out and entering with no steps . Its extremely hot inside even in November. Could do with air conditioning. Lots of history with lots of animals. Great for kids all ages and adults. Toilets and disabled toilets on site with a cafe which is rather expensive so I would recommend brining yours own lunch in if you are a family. 2 coffees and a cookie was approximately £15 . Over all a great experience and very educational. If you home educate your children its worth a day trip in to London to visit the museum. Hot peanuts with honey out side are delicious 😋 pre book tickets for free on line to avoid quing. Pre booked Tickets walk straight in and que jump !

Today, I took a group of elderly visitors with dementia to the London History Museum. Our group varied in mobility — some were able to walk independently, one used a walker, and two were in wheelchairs. We had a brilliant time exploring the different rooms, and the earthquake experience was truly amazing and impactful for everyone. The museum was quite busy with several school groups, which did raise some concerns. One of my members was bumped into twice by a school group, causing them to become unsteady on their feet. While the school group was apologetic, the situation was a little disappointing. The only drawbacks were that the toilets are quite spread out across the museum, and the lifts were sometimes difficult to use due to limited capacity and unclear floor labels. Despite this, we managed to navigate successfully. It was nice to see seating areas scattered around the rooms, providing opportunities for rest. Booking disability parking was straightforward and very helpful, with friendly staff assisting us both on arrival and when we left. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I’d love to return with my family next time for a more flexible visit

For a free entry this museum was absolutely incredible. A very wide variety of exhibits from a multitude of scientific fields. Definitely take your time and explore the entire building. Enjoyed looking at all the different animal exhibits. The dinosaur section of the museum was very fascinating to go through 🦖. I also enjoyed the geological sections. It really does seem that the museum is promoting education at no price! 👨‍🔬 A must visit if you're in the area.

Great day out, Bank Holiday Monday, took a friend's children 3 & 7, they had a great time with all the hands on (inside and outside) exhibits. We'd not been for years, nothing had really changed, but still great fun, there for about 5 hours (brought our own picnic lunch, plenty of outdoor and indoor picnic tables), weather was a bit unsettled but that's why we went, instead of to a local park as there is a lot to do indoors if weather bad, and can do outdoors when sun came out, which it did when we visited the 'Sun Telescope' 🔭, also had a free tour of two other telescope domes......would recommend for anyone with Year 6 or below children, although the adults had fun as well.

Attended the Perseids shooting stars event this year. The place is beautiful to visit, with a lot of interactive activities to do. The event started with an interesting talk from one of their astrophysicist, quite informative. Then we moved into groups and rotated around all the domes. The knowledge and passion of the volunteers was amazing to see and hear. It's well worth a visit, especially on one of their special evenings. Will definitely be back in the future.

This place is incredible. Run mostly by dedicated young chaps. All of the science experiment exhibits worked, including the outdoor ones. So much to learn here for visitors of any age. Add it to your list and you can thank me later.

Great visit. Happened upon the Astronomical Festival weekend which added to the experience with some great talks and displays. Lots for the younger ones to get involved with. Certainly could’ve spent longer.

Really interesting place. We all enjoyed the visit. Yes the front of the castle was covered with scaffolding but we have been advised about everything in detail! Lovely lady honestly explained everything by the gates before paying the admission fees. Gardens were fantastic and inside the castle was amazing…. like Harry Potter place. Would be brilliant if they could give access for more rooms….

Strangely hidden and less well known place but beautiful house and grounds. Unfortunately the house was closed due to a private function but the grounds were well worth the entrance fee. Beautiful gardens and woodland walks. Nice cafe too.

We visited the castle with 15 three in the age between 12 and 18 and all of them had a great time. Especially the gardens were beautiful and behind every corner that was something else to discover . They also enjoy taking several pictures of the landscape , the gardens and the castle. We also did a tour which was very good . The lady who guided us through all the different room buzzer really nice.

A real hidden gem this and amazed i never took my kids here when younger. We only did the grounds, but for £10 entry this was excellent value. Good for a walk, you probably only need an hour, but a beautiful spot. Lots of little nooks and crannies if you have young ones. Had a drink and some cheese and before we left got some rum from the shop. Will go back when the sun is out.

We had a lovely afternoon here, the gardens are beautiful and the castle is stunning. I would definitely recommend the castle tour, we had a great tour with Melissa, she was extremely knowledgeable.

Visited today (20/08/25) in the afternoon with my Grandma and was highly impressed with our visit. We were given a useful map of the grounds upon arrival. We had a sausage roll each for lunch plus cake in the cafe, both of which were delicious at a reasonable price. The gardens and grounds were interesting and had a variety of colours throughout. There's also some woodland areas where you can walk around. I believe the Herstmonceux grounds are around 600 acres, so it's a decently sized estate. The day we visited happened to be a day that castle tours were taking place, so we booked onto the 3pm tour. Our tour guide, Melinda, was very knowledgeable and friendly. She talked about the history of Herstmonceux Castle and the different stages it's been through. The castle itself is quite a fascinating building (Grade I listed I believe). It's primarily used by the Queen's University in Canada, but it was nice to see parts of the castle. They've recently opened a little farm shop onsite, which has a nice range of products, also includes the gift shop too. We were served by a young girl called Molly, who was very helpful and friendly and we felt very welcome to the site. The other people that served us were friendly as well. The volunteer gardeners have been doing an amazing job at keeping the gardens looking good, given the lack of rain recently. If you're planning a day out, I would highly recommend paying a visit to Herstmonceux. Tickets are reasonably priced and dogs on leads are welcome in the grounds. Also child friendly as there's plenty of woodland to explore.

Amazing place with lots of history. Inside tours available three times per day at 11am/ 1pm and 3pm. Well worth a visit.

A beautiful place with a pleasant environment, perfect for spending time with family. There are plenty of enjoyable activities for kids. However, the water ride was closed when we visited, which was disappointing. It would be great if there were some special electronic rides, as most of the existing ones are similar to what children can find in their local play parks.

It changed! positively..Its not cheap but so worth it. Kids had a great day , there is definitely a lot going on so you can't be bored. Great park. The water slides are so cool now they've added and refurbished them.

Knockhatch is a great place for families. There are a variety of different play areas and activities. The definite highlight for our family was the meerkat experience. The keeper was brilliant so interesting and enthusiastic and the kids were completely mesmorized.It was amazing! We struggled to find food and what we ended up eating was pretty bad. Perhaps we missed a cafe in our rush to see everything!

Great value for money, staff in shop and entrance booth very friendly and helpful. Lots to do rain or shine. Brilliant place.

I visited today for my daughter to take part in the Animal Keeper Experience, and we had such a wonderful time. The lovely Eden showed so much patience and kindness throughout, she answered all of our questions with incredible knowledge. It’s clear how much she truly cares for the animals and loves her job. Thank you so much for making the experience so memorable! We also enjoyed the rest of the park, the scare mazes were brilliant, and the actors were absolutely fantastic. Overall, a great day out!

Great way to spend an Inset day with a little one. Lots to do even outside of school holidays, certainly enough to keep my 9ur old daughter occupied. Cafe has excellent options for kids and adults. Opens late, great ice cream choices to finish the day with

Incredible sweeping vistas, wide and grassy hills: the South Downs at its best! I recommend a mountain bike (or an e-mountain bike) to get the most of the sights without necessarily having to go the whole way on foot. Clearly marked walking and riding routes, enough people around to feel safe but not too many to feel crowded. Great place to feel dwarfed by the terrain.

Stunning part of the South Downs and not as busy as other parts. Had a very relaxing walk. Great for all ages. If you are a dog owner, make sure that your dog is on the leash, as livestock is rooming around.

I came here with few of my motorbike friends. On a clear sunny day, you will get a very clear and amazing view. The car park is a little bit tight but still there are spaces. There is an ice cream van that sells coffee, tea and of course ice creams. Its an uphill ride so if you are planning to come in your bike(not motor bike), then be prepared for some good uphill riding.

An interesting sign informs visitors that the land was gifted to the National Trust in memory of a lost son. A lovely and overtly privileged gesture that has enabled NT to create a carpark in this remote and picturesque part of the downs. The roads leading up to the site are narrow and steep, but you'll only be driving at 5mph behind a busy cyclist. It's a popular and challenging climb. The South Downs way runs right through this spot, so the carpark is very popular for completing a short stretch. We were very happy to find an ice cream van, so sugar loaded before setting off for a walk. Stunning views as expected, plus an OS triangulation station at the high point. We stuck the NT card in the machine for free parking thank you very much. Only one bench, so take a rug to sit on the grass if you want to enjoy a packed lunch.

Fantastic location for hiking, picnics and views Limited parking but on a clear day you can see for miles . One eyesore blott on the horizon the ugly Amex stadium spoils the view apart from that . Rare orchids wildflowers and birds and great rambling

A very short amble up Ditchling Beacon which is the highest point in East Sussex, England, with an elevation of 248 m (814 ft). It is south of Ditchling and to the north-east of Brighton. It is a large chalk hill with a particularly steep northern face, covered with open grassland and sheep-grazing areas. It is the third-highest point on the South Downs, behind Butser Hill (270 m (890 ft) and Crown Tegleaze (253 m (830 ft).

Beautiful. Has a national trust car park. Lots of different length loops you can do from 15mins to 2.5hrs. Use maps.me. Update with the snow!

Interesting historic house, and beautiful gardens. It's fascinating to explore the changes to the site over centuries, interiors show the history of the house at different times, with some interactive things to do for children. Beautiful set of botanical illustrations. Beautiful cafe with tasty fresh food.

What an absolutely charming tudor manor house. The priory may be gone but the house and grounds are stunning We attended on one of their events a 1940s VE celebration. We will definitely return for the living history event in August

A fascinating history is associated with this former Augustinan Priory which has undergone many changes over 800 years. During WW2 it provided sanctuary, care and education for children evacuated from the German blitz. It has lovely grounds and hosts weddings and other events. Do visit!

What a gem of a place! Very quiet, wonderful gardens, beautiful priory with lots of history. Jill the house guide was really informative. Kids will love it as well. There’s a family of ducks who will join you when you sit outside the cafe. Well worth a visit.

Loved the garden and the volunteers very chatty. Cafe good too but they need to be better at letting people know when they arrive in the the system so better service and explain how queue works to correctly serve people in order. Very poor today.

We visited here in early January and it was beautiful in the snow. The views along the walk were lovely. We went for a walk and stopped to have fun in the snow throwing snowballs. The only downside was there was not a huge amount of parking especially with the pub being there too. However, it was extremely picturesque and definitely worth visiting if you like walking with a wonderful view.

An absolutely beautiful, iconic treasure of Brighton- a must visit for all ages. Walking through the Dyke itself isn't too strenuous and is a really peaceful, grounding experience. I love walking through with my son or on my own- it's great for kids who enjoy nature as insects, wildflowers and birds are abundant. If you aren't able or in the mood to traverse the steep hill, there are large flat walking areas as well which are just as much of a treasure to experience with stunning views. People often fly kites, walk their dogs and just enjoy the space no matter the weather. It's really a special part of Brighton and so easy to get to by hopping on a 77 bus. There is also a pub/hotel which has AMAZING chips which are a must, as well as toilets when needed.

A must-visit for nature and hiking lovers! Devil’s Dyke is one of the best hiking spots I’ve visited. The views are absolutely breathtaking — endless green hills, fresh air, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it perfect for a weekend escape. The hike takes around 2 to 3 hours depending on your pace, and every part of the trail feels rewarding. There are plenty of photo spots, and the panoramic view from the top is just stunning. It’s well-maintained by the National Trust, with good walking paths and clear signboards. Whether you’re hiking solo, with friends, or with family, this place is perfect to refresh your mind and enjoy nature. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the South Downs area! 🌿🥾

Devil’s Duke is a beautiful place. The views are amazing and everything is very green. There’s a clear path to walk on, and it goes through a small forest with great, tall trees. We even saw cows crossing the path, which was a fun surprise. It’s calm, easy to walk, and perfect for taking photos. Bring comfy shoes and enjoy the fresh air

I visited here to see the England's Red Roses rugby team at the women's rugby world cup. The outside of the stadium is reminiscent of the Orange Velodrome in Marseille. However the bar in the concourse is basic and the bar only has a few tills but has a collection area for drinks and food. In the stadium itself there are quite a few food and drinks outlets. The seats are padded and comfortable. It was an enjoyable trip.

We went to watch a Women's rugby world cup match. England Vs Australia. The atmosphere was amazing. The stadium is easy to get too with the train station and bus stop right outside. Everything was well organised and easy to find. The place was clean and looked after.

Visit the Stadium on a Sunday afternoon not for football but for a CT scan. There is a controlled barrier on entry _ just tell the barrier operator your here for CT scan. Try to get to lower parking to avoid talking stairs. Plenty of spaces available and a lot of signage. I had problem on exit as on approaching barriers there is no keep left signage. The exit barrier is automatic. So get close to make it work. Overall very clean and tidy. But no signs on entry to direct you to the CT reception that I could see. Having been there once before I had no problem.

Friendly fans, friendly staff, great atmosphere. Fantastic modern stadium. No car park and one train station creates a choke point for fans. Plan to spend a long time leaving.

Went to see the match against wolvsburg and one of my favorite stadiums and the seats were really comphterble unlike other stadiums and also we were sitting 3 rows up and when one of our new signings de cuyper i think his name is spelt was doing a throw in and he was like 10 feet away from us and we won 2-1 witch i am happy about because it is my drean to see brighton win a match and i am in the AMEX to see it definatly coming back UP THE ALBION💙🤍

Rally enjoyed my time on the American express stadium. Watched brighton vs Leeds and was very enjoyable game. As a barcelona fan, I felt very welcome by the Brighton fans. Thank you.

Visited the Amex Stadium to watch England v Australia in the women's rugby world cup. Bike parking was free, loads of staff on hand to tell you where to go, and the lady who was hosting the Sidelines (?) Bar was brilliant. Super chatty and knew me because I was wearing a motorcycle jacket. Can't wait to go back again.

I used to go to the dogs regularly. I saw they had a Wednesday race on, popped in with my two kids to see what they made of it, we stayed for 2 hours had a couple of small bets and one or two winners, they enjoyed it something very different to what we would normally do. My cider tasted a bit funky though. Door and bar staff pleasant betting clerk less so but still fun

Came on Sunday afternoon for a big family celebration. A Diamond Wedding Anniversary! The staff went out of their to make everyone welcome and the celebrating couple were so pleased and surprised with how much care and attention the staff gave them! Special thanks to Gary, Ruby, Aesop and Lisa. If you are ever thinking of a venue for a celebration, try something different and come here! Fantastic food, drink and atmosphere. We attended our sons football presentation here last night (31/05/25), I was so shocked at the amount of rude and unfriendly staff. The dogs used to be a good fun family-friendly night out. The lady on the tote desk downstairs (the one that made her own aggressive sign and stuck it up) was extremely rude and should have some training on customer service on how to speak to people. The lady at the bottom of the stairs as you enter, shouted at kids for running down the stairs, but they weren't running they were just a bit excited (these weren't our group of boys) threatening to tell their parents they were coming down the stairs and would throw them out. They weren't doing anything wrong, just someone on a power trip. The security and some of the management were on the kids constantly for running around outside - this was an hour before the dogs had even started, and no one was around. Some of the boys were upstairs (with adults) on a table and were asked to move downstairs because they were cheering on the dogs, and apparently, they were noisy. Absolutely comical. Isn't that the reason you go to the dogs! It is definitely not a family-friendly place, and i 100% wouldn't recommend taking kids. It felt like they wanted the football clubs' money but didn't actually want the kids there, but unfortunately, this was an event that was about the kids and celebrating them. The one star I have given is for the lady that was on the till in the cafe, I think she was the only one who smiled and treated kids like they should be treated.

Unfortunately, our fellow students were not allowed to enter, which was deeply disappointing for them. We were a larger group of language school students, excited to take part in something cultural and for us new in England. We arrived in two groups: first our friends, who are under 18, and a little later the two of us adults. Although we explained that we all belong to the same school, this was not accepted, and even our offer to present student IDs was disregarded. As a result, the younger students were turned away, despite being accompanied by adults. It was truly very sad to see their disappointment, especially as they had been so eager to experience and learn more about English culture.

What a fantastic night, staff was fab , great seating with good view of the track. Food was ok depending what you had, wouldn’t recommend the buffalo chicken but sea bass and steak was really tasty. All in all great night and will be returning.

We had a great stag do here. Had the meal package and the staff were really friendly and nice. You get a really nice member of staff who takes your bets and gives you winnings. The menu had about 5 items for each course and my steak was cooked to perfection. I recommend having the meal and going here with friends.

A brilliant night out and the food is surprisingly superb. We had Eduardo as our server and he was an absolute star. He not only went above and beyond to seat us but also was entertaining with banter that (somewhat) took the sting out of me consistently picking the losing dogs
