The sunset view here is absolutely stunning, especially when the sky turns orange and pink over the Bay of Bengal. Local seafood stalls nearby serve some really tasty stuff too. If you want serenity instead of chaos, Gopalpur is the beach to be.

Great outdoor activity full of natural beauty and a bit of adventure. The way the caves are lit up with colorful lights makes everything look magnificent. The lighting helps you see the amazing rock formations clearly and adds to the whole experience. There are steps throughout the cave, which makes it easier to walk, but the caves go quite deep, so you’ll be going down a lot. You can even hear bats inside, which gives it a real cave-like feeling! One important warning – beware of monkeys! Witnessed three live “robberies” where monkeys jumped and snatched food from visitors, even from their hands. They are quick and not afraid, so don’t carry any food openly, and keep your bags zipped. It’s funny at first but can be scary too. One thing to remember – the climb back up can be tough, especially for older people or anyone who isn't used to a lot of stairs. So it’s good to think before going too deep, and take your time while coming back up. It also gets a bit crowded. The caves are very clean and well-maintained. I would definitely recommend Borra Caves – a perfect mix of nature, fun, and a bit of exercise!

Visiting Borra Caves was an incredible experience with stunning natural formations inside the caves that left me amazed. The cool, mysterious atmosphere and intricate stalactites and stalagmites made it a must-see attraction. Adding to the adventure, the zip line nearby offered an exhilarating ride with breathtaking views of the surrounding forest and hills—perfect for thrill-seekers. A fun and memorable moment was watching monkeys cheekily stealing corn from visitors, adding some lively wildlife interaction to the trip. It was amusing but also a reminder to keep a close eye on belongings! After the outdoor excitement, trying bamboo chicken was a delicious treat—juicy, flavorful, and cooked right in the bamboo, it embodied authentic local cuisine. Overall, the combination of natural wonders, adventure activities, playful wildlife, and tasty food made for a fantastic visit worth recommending to anyone traveling to the region.

Its a geological nature's marvel. It was 1992 established tourist spot. The caves no doubt continue to age gracefully with limestone carvings but the maintenance is not good. Entry ticket in increased to 80/- per adult and 60/- for children. Baggage counter 20/- for each bag. 100/- for video DSLR camera etc. Free Toilets are there but not maintained. The safety measures inside the caves are not proper. Cleanliness not maintained. Feeding monkeys have make the monkeys a nuisance. Most importantly, private taxi association/union has ruined the connectivity. APRTC buses connectivity is not found from borra caves to araku. Make sure to wear good gripping shoes and cotton/linen fabric. The temple inside the cave, the stairs are very narrow so beware.

Borra Caves is an incredible natural wonder! The interior limestone formations are breathtaking, and the evening lighting effects create a dramatic and magical ambience. Outside, there are plenty of food options to enjoy, and we appreciated the free restroom facility for visitors. A must-see destination!

Visited Borra Caves recently — it was a good experience overall! The caves are huge and naturally beautiful, but honestly, I felt Belum Caves offer a bit more to explore inside. Borra Caves isn’t a single spot — the trip includes Araku Valley, waterfalls, and scenic views along the way, which makes the entire journey worth it. 🌿✨ If you’re planning a weekend getaway, it’s a great experience — but I’d also recommend visiting Belum Caves for a more detailed cave adventure!

Located in Ananthagiri Hills of the Eastern Ghats near Araku in Visakhapatnam District, the Borra Caves feature stunning formations of stalactites and stalagmites, created over 150 million years through the slow dripping of mineral-rich water on a humongous limestone mass. The constant dripping of water enhances the surreal charm of the caves. This wonderful work of nature's art is situated on the banks of the Gosthani River, which adds to the scenic beauty of the place. The caves, discovered in the 19th have spiritual significance, with many believing that the formations resemble Lord Shiva and other deities. Atop one of the caves is a tiny shrine to Lord Shiva with a resident pandit offering prayers and blessings to devotees. The caves were discovered by the British geologist William King George in 1807. The aesthetic beauty of the caves has been spoilt with the installation of garish lights of many colours. CAUTION: Please watch your step because the constantly dripping water makes the floor very slippery.

When I browsed about places to explore during my recent visit to Araku,Borra caves was in the top suggestion everywhere and after visiting the place I understand why!!! I was truly astonished by this beautiful creature of nature indeed giving me vibes of being in a Stone Age story!! It was indeed a good experience!! But there are some observations about the amenities over there like washrooms,flooring and hand railing inside the Borra caves which can be improved for a better experience.

Located right at Ramakrishna Beach (RK Beach), this place has a total of four war-related museums — INS Kursura Submarine Museum, TU-142 Aircraft Museum, Sea Harrier Museum, and UH-3H Helicopter Museum. If you plan to visit all four at once, the combined ticket is ₹200 per person. However, if you visit them individually, the ticket price is ₹100 per person per museum. Among all, the INS Kursura Submarine Museum is a must-visit once in a lifetime. It gives you a real glimpse into the tough life of our naval officers inside a submarine — how they live, work, and protect us deep under the sea during naval missions. I’ve uploaded a few inside pictures to give you an idea, but honestly, seeing it in person is a completely different experience — something you won’t find anywhere else. It’s not just a museum — it’s a living monument of engineering brilliance, naval courage, and Indian innovation that operated during an era when advanced electronics and digital automation were not yet developed. Everything inside this submarine runs purely on mechanical and manual systems, and that alone is enough to amaze anyone who loves machines and real-world engineering. The moment I stepped inside the submarine, I felt as if I had travelled back in time. The narrow corridors, control panels, and precisely arranged valves, levers, and gauges all tell a story of sheer human skill and endurance. Every inch of the Kursura showcases the dedication of Indian Navy officers who operated it with precision and bravery, defending our coastline under extreme conditions. It gave me a real sense of the challenges our naval heroes faced — limited space, high pressure, mechanical complexity, and the constant responsibility of keeping the submarine functional deep under the sea. From an engineering point of view, the Kursura is nothing short of a masterpiece. The proudest and most iconic reminder of Visakhapatnam's history as the HQ of the Indian Navy's Eastern Command, the Submarine Museum in Vizag, also known as INS Kursura Submarine Museum, is a must visit, one of a kind tourist attraction in the City. It's housed in a decommissioned Kaveri Class Soviet-built submarine, INS Kursura, which was decommissioned in 2001 after having served the Indian Navy for 31 years. The museum provides an immersive experience, offering insights into life inside a submarine and the complexities of underwater warfare. On display are various sections of a submarine, including the control room, torpedo room, crew quarters, the radar room and the engine room.

The feeling of being there is simply amazing – the sound of the ocean waves crashing, the cool breeze, and the peaceful vibe that fills the air. The sun view is breathtaking, and the beach itself is serene and beautiful, with the gentle tides lapping at the shore. The sight of colorful fishing boats lining the beach adds a local charm, and it's a wonderful experience to see the fishermen going about their work. The ocean view is endless and calming, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxation or enjoying some quiet time. Safety is a priority here, with lifeguards present along the beach and lifeguard towers ensuring visitors' well-being. The beach also has a police center with officers patrolling, adding an extra layer of security for tourists. The morning sunrise and evening sunset are the most preferred times to visit, as they offer stunning views that are absolutely worth watching. The golden hues of the sun over the ocean are picture-perfect, making it a photographer's dream. For food lovers, there are snack centers and tiffin centers on the beach offering a variety of tasty treats. Additionally, restaurants and luggage centers are conveniently located just 100 meters from the beach. The beach is very good and it is the perfect place for enjoying. It is better than vodarevu and ramapuram beach. One concern about the beach is that there are very less facilities like the washing area is absolutely disgusting and you can constantly smell fish.

Suryalanka Beach offers a beautiful and serene coastal experience, perfect for both relaxation and adventure. The location is stunning, especially during sunrise and sunset, making it ideal for photography and peaceful moments. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities including horse riding, exploring the local market, trying local food, and even enjoying a bit of thrill with beachside driving and drifts. However, the main drawback is the condition of the public washrooms. Although they are free to use, they are poorly maintained. With only two buckets available for around 20 washrooms and a general lack of cleanliness, the facilities fall short in terms of hygiene. Overall, while the beach and surrounding experience are delightful, better maintenance of basic amenities like washrooms would greatly enhance the visit.

The Shri Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple in Srisailam is an incredibly powerful and must-visit pilgrimage site. It holds the rare and sacred distinction of being both one of the 12 Jyotirlingas (Lord Shiva) and one of the Ashta Dasha Shakti Peethas (Goddess Bhramaramba) located in the same complex. Also it is budget friendly trip. Lots of staying options are available near temple and by online booking you can get sparsh darshan.

The temple is truly a peaceful and divine place where one can feel positive energy and calmness. I always find a sense of inner peace here. However, the management needs serious improvement. The temple authorities and staff often behave rudely with devotees, which spoils the spiritual experience. There is no proper communication or announcement regarding temple closing times, leaving visitors confused and disappointed. Also, the Sparsh Darshan tickets are available only through the official online site, but the website is poorly designed and often doesn’t work properly. It would be much better if the temple management focused on improving the online system and showing more respect and hospitality towards devotees.

The only Shrine in India with Both the Jyothirlingam and Shakti Peetham located with in the same Pranganam of the Temple. One of the most powerful temples in India. Srisailam has a good connectivity by Bus from major cities of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. If by Train, the nearest Stations are Markapur Road/ Nandyala. Depsite being the Shakti Peetham and Jyothirlingam, temple won't be much crowded as it is in the interior part of the State. Can expect more crowd during Special Occasions and on weekends. We visited in the Karthika Maasam and on weekend. It took 1hr for us for Darshanam. Crowd increases from morning to evening. Plan to reach temple premises by night or in the morning as the Ghat road will be closed midnight as it is forest area. Lot number of Hotels/ Satram's/ Dharamshala's will be there near Shrine. Please note that Sparsha Darshanam will only be there on weekdays and can be booked online. Have a beautiful Stay!

You will be amazed to see such a temple ! I'm blessed to visit this temple, where we can witness amazing architecture, and nandi, which is growing year on year. Also the Venkateswara temple next to this, is also great.

Yaganti is located about 80 kms off the NH near Kurnool. The Uma Maheswara Temple is built by the Vijayanagara Kings in the 16th century. The place is surrounded by hills and is surreal. The drive takes you through hills and ravines and is an adventure in itself... worth the drive. We really enjoyed the beauty of the place and its history... legend says that Sage Bramha and Sage Agastya meditated in the caves surrounding the Temple. A must visit with family to understand our Rich culture and history.

Excellent temple, No crow is to be seen with in the premises as cursed by the great sage Agastya muni. 3 caves for Agastya muni, Venkateshwara swamy and Vishnu cave which needs some effort to climb all the stairs. Basavanna seems to be growing inch by inch as prophesised by Srimadvirat Pothuluri veera bhramendra swamy varu.

A wonderful ancient temple where you feel the vibe. The temple pond is there to chill before darshan. The caves were very cool even during the mid hot day.

Yaganti temple is very old and historical temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Inside the Garbhagruha, if closely observed, you can see both Uma (Parvathi) and Maheswara (Shiva) images on Lingam, thats why the name Uma Maheswara. We can touch the Lingam if we take special ticket for abhishekam and perform the abhishekam with our own hands. Inside the temple is very calm and peaceful, we can even do the meditation. There is a water pond inside the temple where the water flow continuously, not sure where it comes from. The main attraction of the temple is the Basavanna (Bull), who is growing every year. There are many historical caves around this temple, Dont miss to visit them.

Visited Belum Caves, and it was an incredible experience! These natural limestone caves are truly a hidden gem in Andhra Pradesh. The formations inside are absolutely fascinating — from the "Thousand Hoods" to the Musical Chamber, every part of the cave had something unique to offer. One of my favorite spots was the Meditation Hall, which gave a peaceful and almost spiritual vibe. Walking through the long, winding passages felt like stepping back in time. The Patalaganga stream deep inside the cave was another highlight — it's amazing how water still flows there! The temperature inside was a bit warm and humid, so it’s best to wear light clothes and carry water. I also appreciated how well-maintained the place was, with guides and signboards helping visitors understand the cave’s history and geology. If you love nature, adventure, or just want to explore something offbeat, I highly recommend visiting Belum Caves. It’s one of those places that make you appreciate how mysterious and powerful nature can be.

This is known to be the second largest cave, and it's truly a remarkable place to visit if you enjoy exploring natural wonders. Parking is available for a fee, and the site is fairly well-managed. Inside the cave, the formations are stunning, but be prepared for a long walk. The path can be slippery and muddy in parts in some areas, the mud can even cover half your leg, so wear appropriate footwear and tread carefully. It's also hot and humid inside, which adds to the sense of adventure. The entry and exit are through the same point, and you're free to click as many photos as you'd like. There’s also a professional photographer available inside if you're interested in getting a photo taken. Some parts of the cave are well-lit, while a few sections are slightly dark, adding to the cave's natural mystery. I personally loved the experience. A must-visit for cave enthusiasts and adventure seekers!

Belum Caves is undoubtedly one of India’s most fascinating natural wonders — a long stretch of underground limestone formations that really show how incredible nature can be. However, the experience itself leaves a lot to be desired in terms of management and basic facilities. First and foremost, carry sufficient cash for your tickets and small expenses. The online network here is extremely poor, and most of the time, the QR or digital payment systems simply don’t work. Many visitors are left struggling at the counter trying to make UPI payments that don’t go through. Once inside, there’s drinking water available, which is good because you’ll need it — the cave is very humid and warm as you go deeper inside. It can get quite uncomfortable after a while, so wearing light clothes and good footwear helps. You’ll also notice quite a few bats in some sections — they don’t really bother you, but it can be unsettling for some visitors. Sadly, the signage inside the caves is minimal and confusing. There are long stretches without any clear direction or information, so you’re often left guessing which way to go or what you’re looking at. On the way from the parking area to the ticketing counter, you’ll also find a few beggars, which is unfortunate and adds to the sense of neglect. Overall, while the caves themselves are extraordinary and worth seeing once for their sheer natural beauty and geological importance, the poor upkeep, lack of amenities, and absence of guidance make it a place you visit more for curiosity than comfort. With better management, Belum Caves could truly shine as one of Andhra Pradesh’s best natural attractions — but as of now, go prepared, go patient, and definitely go with cash in hand.

Very good experience. All family members enjoyed it. Government is maintaining it well. Lights and fans are kept in good spots so that there is a balance of natural and comfort while exploring the caves. But, many visitors are spoiling it by throwing empty water bottles and footwear everywhere. Plan to go in shorts as there is a lot of clay mud on the way and should walk without any footwear (maybe this depends on the weather when you go).

After the visit, you can rest outside—there are proper seating arrangements and shaded areas under trees, which offer a nice break. There’s also a small snack outlet nearby. And yes, the deeper sections of the cave can feel a little scary—but that just adds to the adventure! Entry is ticketed, and there’s ample parking space available. The restroom facilities were good, and the lady managing them kindly helped us store our luggage. While food options nearby are limited, you can find a few small outlets along the way. They've made a lot of things in terms of ventilation and lighting, but many of these systems are now malfunctioning or have completely broken down due to prolonged neglect and lack of maintenance.

They do allow marriage ceremony to take place in the temple premises. Most of the structure are getting damaged due to lack of proper security and government negligence I hope they will do something to maintain this beautiful temple.

Their tea collection is really very nice. I loved their Kahwa dip tea which i haven't seen anywhere else till date. They also serve filter coffee which is very authentic in taste. Washrooms are also inside the premises. It's good for a stopover and get some snacks and drinks. Staff is nice too.

The park opens from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and I’d suggest the best time to visit is early morning between 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM — when it’s calm, less crowded, and the weather feels amazing. Nice place to worship Lord Krishna. Very well connected with metro and Bengaluru buses. In temple, darshan facilities, food & water facilities are good. Overall very good arrangements,cleanliness and nice experience. Only thing is no special feeling. It's like visiting any other temple. Maybe because temple is surrounded by big buildings; so not giving that divine vibes where we tries to connect with God with peace.

This place is serene and calm atmosphere to enlighten the spiritual experience within you. It is well connected with all public transport as it is located in the heart of the city. If you're driving a four wheeler then parking charges of 40 rupees collected. You shall easily spend an hour or three including the shopping of artifacts and other devotional items inside the temple premises. Multiple vaishnavaite deities are present here. Everything is maintained near and clean. An artificial waterfall and a lake add more charm to this place. This place is getting upgraded with more infrastructure as the construction is going on as well.

A Calming Green Oasis in Bengaluru Lalbagh Botanical Garden offers a decent escape from the city hustle. I had an "OK" experience, largely thanks to the wonderfully calm and fresh environment. If you're looking for a spot with natural bird sounds to truly cool down and relax your mind, this place is highly recommended. It's a true "lung space" for Bengaluru. A major plus was the e-cycle ride, which is a fantastic way to cover the vast garden expanse. The rental seemed to have a flexible pricing, as I saw options for a short ride. I did a ride. We also caught the artificial waterfall near the lake, which operates on a fixed schedule. We saw it running from 6:00 PM to 6:15 PM. It adds a nice, serene touch to the lake area when it's on. My one major feeling was a slight lack of a "zoo" or large animal presence (apart from birds), which I missed—it felt more like a purely botanical experience rather than a nature park with diverse wildlife. However, for a botanical garden, all the basic amenities and facilities are well-maintained. Conclusion ; If you are in Bengaluru, it's definitely worth a visit for a peaceful, nature-filled break and a lovely walk or cycle ride.

It was a beautiful experience. The day was 🌞 I went with my family to explore the beauty of this huge botanical garden that has flora species dating back to hundreds of years ago. Enchanting. ❤️😇 We took the ride for 45 mins which is charged ₹100 per person. The guide thoroughly took us to different locations of the botanical garden taking small stops at specific points. Overall it was a nice experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the place. Recommended to family and friends. ✨

One of the prettiest garden I have ever visited. So beautiful, peaceful and huge. Our first option was Cubbon Park due to its ratings but when I visited this instead, I was glad. It's really beautiful! The way everything is maintained there is very pleasant. The whole area around this park is so cool due to the trees in the garden. The park is vast, and many of the naturalized habitats for the local species are impressive and well-maintained. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful, contributing to an overall positive atmosphere. ​However, a couple of significant issues prevented me from rating this as a perfect five-star experience. ​Firstly, I was disappointed that some of the highly anticipated major animals, notably the Lion and the Orangutan, were either absent or could not be found in their areas during our visit. This was a notable letdown for key species that many visitors hope to see. ​More importantly, I observed certain welfare concerns that I hope the park management addresses. Several animals appeared to be kept alone or with a very limited number of mates, which seemed sparse given their social nature. In a few cases, the enclosures seemed smaller than ideal, and I witnessed some animals exhibiting repetitive, stereotypic behaviors (pacing back and forth). This gave the distinct impression that they might be bored, stressed, or depressed due to the lack of space or social stimulation. Ensuring that all animals have adequate companionship and spacious, enriching enclosures is crucial for a park of this stature. ​Despite these issues, the overall variety of species and the natural beauty of the environment are undeniable. If the park could improve its exhibit list consistency and significantly upgrade the size and social conditions of the enclosures I mentioned, it would easily earn five stars.

Last week, I visited the Biological Zoo with my family. It was a very exciting and memorable trip. We saw many animals like lions, tigers, elephants, deer, giraffes and colorful birds. The best part of our visit was the safari. It was really thrilling to see the wild animals moving freely in the open area. We saw lions and tigers very closely from the safari bus and it felt like a real jungle adventure. The zoo was clean and well maintained. The staff guided us properly and we enjoyed taking many photos and videos together. It was a fun and educational experience for the whole family. I would love to visit again, especially for the safari ride.

The entry area has small local shops selling snacks, water, sugarcane juice, and fruits depending on the season. Took the safari bus after a long queue , it’s a unique experience being inside a cage while animals roam free outside! However, seats with caged windows make photography difficult, and animal sightings depend on luck. After the safari, visited the Butterfly Garden (fewer butterflies than expected) and had lunch at the canteen , limited food options. The zoo area is like any other, with various animals in enclosures. Overall, it’s a nice day trip to see wildlife closely. Appreciate the government’s efforts in forest and animal conservation.

I recently visited Bannerghatta National Park, and honestly, it felt a bit overhyped. From the photos and reviews, I expected a proper wildlife experience, but in reality, it was more like an average zoo with a bus ride added in. We booked the safari bus since jeeps weren’t available, and that was fine — but the safari itself was quite disappointing. The entire 20–30 minute ride had barely 4–5 types of animals — deer, elephants, leopards, lions, and a small bear. It didn’t feel like we were in a natural habitat at all. The zones were just large fenced areas with a few animals each. For example, you start with deer and elephants, then after passing a gate you reach the leopard zone, where maybe 3–4 leopards can be seen resting near shelters. Same goes for lions and bears. It honestly felt like a zoo with a bus tour instead of walking. After the safari, we went to the zoo area, which was okay but again nothing great. There were only one or two animals of each species — a single giraffe, one tiger, one lion, etc. Variety was there, but it didn’t feel lively or well-maintained. The butterfly park was the best part of the entire visit. The entry fee was ₹50 per person, and it was worth it. The dome area filled with butterflies and greenery looked beautiful and peaceful — definitely the highlight of the day. Overall, Bannerghatta National Park is good for a one-time visit or a short family outing near Bangalore, but if you’re expecting a real safari or wildlife experience, you’ll probably be disappointed.

Nice place to visit. It is a place where you can feel the eternal peace. I visited during 4 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. and saw lighting, alongwith water sprayers. There is a small children park for sliding, swinging. You can sit, have snacks, can do shopping of Sri Sri branded products, and buy ayurvedic medicines with nadi pariksha. 3 to 4 hours is sufficient time to spend if you are going with with family.

HAPPINESS IS FREE. This is a factual review of my experience. First, I was treated with utmost love and respect and kindness by almost every staff member I met here (especially the ones serving the food!). The grounds are pretty, there is a large building being built and the traffic is not *too* loud. I was told I could stay in the accommodations for free and try a course, so I went to speak at the reception (I was also interested in volunteering). I had to fill out several forms and when I was done, I was informed the "Happiness course" was $440 USD. In the USA, that is a lot of money. In India, you could feed a family for a year. It's just a touristy cult/scam that I wouldn't ever return to or recommend to anyone.

Nice Place for a Short Trek and Peaceful Vibes Shivagange is a great place to visit if you’re looking for a short trip from Bangalore. It’s about 50 km away and perfect for a one-day outing. The place has a mix of nature, trekking, and spiritual feel. The trek is around 3 to 4 km uphill. Some parts are steep and narrow, but there are railings to help. It’s better to start early in the morning to avoid the heat and crowd. Make sure to carry water, wear good shoes, and be ready for some climbing. On the way up, you’ll see a few small temples and a big Nandi statue. The temple at the top is peaceful, and the view is really beautiful. Some useful info: Best time to visit: October to February (nice weather) Timings: Open from morning till evening Entry fee: No entry fee, but parking is paid Facilities: Small food stalls and a paid restroom near the parking area Tip: Don’t carry food in your hands—monkeys may try to grab it If you enjoy trekking or visiting temples, this place is worth going to. I visit 21-07-25 Very Beautiful beginners trekking spot close to Bangalore. From Bangalore it's a half day adventure trip. Good to go during weekdays since there will be crowd which is safe. Else go in large groups. During weekdays carry food and water.and valakallu teertha is amezing moment.

We visited Shivagange in the early morning, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. As we started our trek just before sunrise, the cool breeze and peaceful surroundings set the perfect mood. The silence of the morning,made the whole atmosphere feel calm and spiritual. Overall, it was a perfect blend of adventure, nature, and spirituality. Visiting early in the morning is highly recommended if you want to beat the heat, avoid crowds, and enjoy the serene beauty of the place at its best.

Had a wonderful trek to Shivagange! The trail offers a mix of steps and rocky paths with beautiful views along the way. It’s best to start early morning around 6 AM to enjoy the sunrise and cool weather, as it gets quite crowded once the sun is up. You’ll see many monkeys on the way, so keep your food and water bottles safe. The monkeys are playful but can grab things quickly. At the top, the view is rewarding, but water and snacks are quite expensive, so it’s better to carry your own water to save money. Overall, it’s a moderate trek, with some steep climbs near the top, but manageable with short breaks. The vibe is peaceful in the morning, and the breeze at the peak makes it worth the effort. Highly recommended for a day trek near Bangalore if you love adventure and sunrise views!

One of the best amusement parks in the country. Some rides are really high on thrill and adrenaline rush, especially their roller coaster- recoil, the twister, maverik etc. You must not miss the newly added adventure ride- Interstellar which is an experience in itself. The giant wheel at the 13th floor gives the best view of the park and the city. The waterpark isn’t great but has some good water slides and rides you can try. For extra fun you can try the rain dance shows, & especially the wave pool with the dj is so much fun. The best part is they hae made a division in the pool with 2 sides, one for family, couple, women; and other for only men. The crew keeps a check that everyone follows the rules properly and behaves. Some things to keep in mind. Some rides can have queues in rush time, but its doable; as the fastrack tickets are double the cost and not worth it as you can still do all rides without it, just make sure you reach before noon and are there till atleast 6pm. Noone specifically checked the costume for waterpark, but carry appropriate material clothes to enjoy the most, or you’ll have t o buy them at 350 bucks. The locker costs 350 rs, with an additional 50 bucks of the magnetic key watch band. There are multiple food joints and options to eat from. You’ll also find souvenir shops. Wait till post the sunset to see the beauty of the park in lights. You can take certain buses plying to and back from the park to city. Overall its a great experience and a must go to atleast once if you are adventurous soul.

Check offers before Booking! This place is really good for a day outing, don't start from the first ride, watch YouTube videos to see which one you don't wanna miss and be in queue for those in the start. First of all reach the place by 10 am to be aware of what to do, and how to go ahead. Normal queue Wait time is 30-70 minutes on each ride after 11:30. So decide wisely don't waste your time on not so worthy rides. We included three meals, it was a good decision so we didn't waste time deciding, what to eat. My recommendations at least include noon meal, so you can enjoy it and during the evening it will be your wish for what you wanna eat after rides. Take the longest hours, it's hardly the matter of 100-200/- rs but then after dinner also you may be able to do some fun rides if not water rides. Take the locker in advance or one of you may end up just looking after your stuff. Wear water rides approved clothing from the start , so you don't waste time changing clothes again and again. Wear rubber slippers/ crocs, it's easy for you to move around.

Apart from that, the high thrill rides like Recoil were just insane. The water park section was also great the slides, the wave pool, the lazy river everything was just perfect for cooling off and chilling. The staff were polite and helpful throughout the day, and the locker and changing facilities were neat and clean. I also liked the food options inside decent variety and not too overpriced, which was nice. Overall, I had an absolute blast here! This was my 3rd visit but first time with family and kids. Beautiful park, everyone should visit for fun. Weather was supportive so you could enjoy water games. There's new addition to the park - Mission Interstellar. It was mind blowing. Never experienced before. For all games there's 25% of people with Fast track priority passes are sent in. With Halloween passes, all land games can be played even between 7 pm to 10 pm while games for regular passes are closed by 6 pm. Park timings on weekends is 11 am to 7 pm. Everything is fine except Food. Its totally SCAM. If you buy buffet online vs offline, the prices are different. If you buy Buffet lunch at entrance is 419 while online and inside its 500+. Any food like Fried rice or Noodles with non/veg manchurian and large coke combination is 410/- when you can buy Buffet for same price. The quality of food is pathetic. After spending good time, we felt disappointed with food quality with menu options and with exorbitant prices. I have provided same feedback to ground staff to improve food. Hence reduced the overall ratings.

When we were planning a fun trip for our school children on the occasion of Children’s Day, the first place that came to our minds was Wonderla - a place we knew would bring them the most joy. Since our students come from the ashrama and study in a government-aided school, we reached out to Wonderla to request their support in making this day special. The Wonderla management responded with immense kindness. They wholeheartedly accepted our request and made it possible for more than 45 students to enjoy a fully sponsored day at the park. This place has both historical and the spiritual significance. The climb is a bit steep but steps are in good shape and the railings really help for support. There is a dress code to be followed, shorts and sleeveless not allowed so carry a spare jacket, fortunately the administration gave us a shawl which was returned after coming back. The statue offers a sense of calm and photography is allowed but selfies and drones are not allowed. Must visit place for history lovers and architecture fanatics.

There is nothing like this place. It’s a historical spiritual temple that makes you forget everything and the statue just grabs your attention. If you are physically fit it will take you around 25 mins to climb the mountain but the view, energy and every step was so worth it. I hope I come here again and again. If you have some one who can’t climb the mountain you can ask for doli at main office. The dharshan is worth it.

Each wall, panel, and even pillar is intricately detailed — often compared to “poetry in stone.” Outer walls covered with continuous sculptural bands (friezes) arranged in horizontal tiers. Lathe-turned pillars — perfectly polished, symmetric, and reflective. Ceilings decorated with intricate floral and geometric motifs. Sanctums house Shiva Lingas, each fronted by a large Nandi (bull) pavilion. There’s a nicely maintained garden area to spend sometime after immersing in the beauty of the place. Some area that can be improved are - The road leading to temple from NH/SH can have proper sign boards and roads and traffic can be managed better. Parking lot can be maintained better. Drinking water taps doesn’t work properly.

Grand and magnificent temple! It's a well visited temple with full grandeur. We went on a public holiday and the crowd was huge. However the darshan inside was easy. This temple is huge so do not rush and give good time to soak in its beauty. The huge nandis are absolutely gorgeous. Plenty of parking available outside the temple.

Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, it features a star-shaped plan, intricate soapstone carvings, and graceful Madanika sculptures that embody divine beauty.🎶 The Belur Temple Complex, built during the reign of the Hoysala dynasty, is centered around the magnificent Chennakesava Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, renowned for its star-shaped design and intricate soapstone carvings. Surrounding it are several smaller yet exquisitely crafted shrines, including the Kappe Chennigaraya Temple, built by Queen Shantala Devi as a miniature version of the main shrine, and the Andal (Ranganayaki) Temple, dedicated to the divine consort of Vishnu. Other notable shrines within the complex include the Saumyanayaki Temple, honoring another form of Goddess Lakshmi, and the Narasimha Temple, depicting Vishnu’s fierce man-lion incarnation. There‘s a parking fee of Rs.50 collected but no receipt given. No one to guide further, we had to go around the temple and find the parking lot at the back of the temple. 😒 At the entrance need to leave the footwear at the counter, was charged Rs.30 (no receipt given) At the entrance Guides can be availed ( Rs.500 - Receipt given), guides share history and details of the sculptures for 20-25 minutes. Can easily spend 1-2 hours admiring and taking pics. 😎 Theres a stepped pond and a book stall selling books of rhe history of Hoysala and temple in all languages. Best to visit either morning before sun goes up or after 4 pm as the stones gets heated up to walk Have a good time at the temple. Please keep it safe for generations to come 🙏

The church has a picturesque setting and is good for film or wedding shoots, When we went both were happening simultaneously. They say it gets partially submerged in water during rainy seasons. It's a popular spot for photography. The church's Gothic architecture and history as a former place of worship are appreciated by visitors. The church is not at its full and is completely broken with no roof and a few walls intact. I am sure it would look spooky during the night times especially during full moon and new moon day. The church looks best in the afternoon. During the peak rainy season, only one-third of the chapel is visible. The surroundings are generally quiet and peaceful, offering a serene experience. The area could be cleaner, people just litter around and there is no one to educate them. The roads leading to the church are dusty, muddy and not well-maintained.

Quite a remarkable spot with the old structures by the bank of the reservoir. When we visited it, it wasn't submerged, but it does so during higher water level at monsoon. Temporary refreshment stalls are provided by local vendors with soda-lemon water and other beverages. It was really kept clean, credit to both visitors and local vendors alike. Gets very hot on a sunny day after 10 AM. Try to visit early, by 9 AM to avoid the heat. Car goes all the way, so accessible for elderly persons also.

One of the places to go and see during summer season old ruined church. This is just a few kilometres away from Hassan. In Sumer you will be able to go even further near the church but in rainy season you will not be able to go near the church as this will be fully submerged in water.

A nice spot to visit while you are in Sakleshpura .. unfortunately not very well maintained, even the board to indicate the fort is not there at the entrance.. You have parking area at the foot of the fort. Around 250 steps to climb before you get to the top, a moderate hike.... Fort looks good and has scenic view around... Coming to history of this fort was built by the then king of Mysore tippu sultan on 1792 to mark his power of succession over the region.This fort is used to store the ammunition and gunpowder for cannons.I do not recommend going to this fort unless you are a historical sites enthusiast anyway you will not be able to see the star shape of the fort which is unique. I strictly warn if you are going with older people

Has a beautiful view of the mountains and Greenery. Fort was not maintained previously, but now they started doing the cleaning works, hopefully they restore the damaged areas.

The weather during my visit was rainy,. I recommend carrying an umbrella or raincoat if you're visiting during the monsoon season, as showers are quite common. My visit to Kukke Subramanya Temple was memorable and spiritually uplifting. It’s a must-visit for anyone seeking divine blessings, especially those with a connection to serpent-related doshas or those simply looking for peace amidst nature and devotion. It was nice visit to this spiritual place. Went along with my friends. This place has very different vibe all together. Mighty Kumar Parvat is being visible. Went on Saturday evening had our prasad which took around 1 hour including wait & taking of prasad. Faced issues while getting guest house of Temple trust (book in advance) availability on weekends or festive season will be a issue. Took hotel outside. Darshan: went at temple at around 0600hrs and waited in a que till 0700hrs. Darshan started at 0700hrs & by 0740hrs we were out. Cons: Temple committe should work ok Maintaining the cleanliness of prasad house Overall experience was nice.

You can also have darshan of Vasuki, the serpent god, and other shrines like Adi Subramanya, Ganapati, and Uma Maheshwara within the temple premises. - The darshan queue is well-managed, on weekdays it takes about 30–60 minutes, while on weekends and special days it may take longer. - There are options for free darshan as well as special darshan tickets (₹50–₹200) for quicker Darsan. - The Anna Prasada (free meal) served by the temple is simple, delicious, and very well organized. - Timings: Generally, darshan is available from 6:30 AM to 1:30 PM and again from 3:30 PM to 9:00 PM. - Ample parking space is available near the temple at a reasonable charge. - Numerous shops selling pooja items, prasadam, and local snacks are available right outside. - Several lodges and restaurants nearby offer decent accommodation and food options. Overall, Kukke Subramanya Temple is a spiritually uplifting and peaceful destination worth visiting at least once in a lifetime.

The temple’s traditional architecture looked divine, and though it was quite crowded that day, the spiritual energy and positive vibe were truly unmatched. The sound of bells, chants, and the fragrance of incense made the whole experience unforgettable. After our darshan, we also explored some nearby scenic and historical places, which made the trip even more special. The natural beauty, flowing streams, and peaceful surroundings added a perfect balance of spirituality and serenity to our visit. The temple and its surroundings were clean and well maintained, and the entire area felt calm and family-friendly. Looking back now, I’m really glad I captured those moments, sometimes old photos remind us how meaningful those journeys were and how they still make us smile years later. But I am regular visitor since 1990... 1) Temple timings is from 6AM to 1.30PM and from 3.30PM to 9PM 2) The Kukke Subramanya Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Subramanya. 3)The temple is known for its religious importance, especially for those seeking blessings to remove Naga Dosha and other planetary afflictions. 4) The temple is surrounded by the beautiful Western Ghats, making the drive to and from the temple quite scenic. 5) It tends to be less crowded in the afternoons, while mornings can be quite busy. 6)The temple is well-maintained with facilities like shoe counters, luggage counters, drinking water, and seva counters. 7) Nearby, there are good food options like the New Mysore Cafe and some small Restaurants 8)There are special darshan options available for a fee, but it's recommended to get tickets in advance. 9) U have to take Different Tickets for Different Poojas 10) There will be Tiffin, Lunch and Dinner from Temple Side which is at free of Cost. 11) Lots of Buses are available from Bengaluru. 12) Lots of Staying Options are available with Reasonable prices. 13) Mobile phones are allowed inside the temple but No Photographs. 14) Darshan will be Quick even there is a huge crowds but if u want to make Some Poojas then it will take 2-3 hrs minimum so go early...
