Incredible location and design but unfortunately understaffed and lacking the flow a 5* hotel should deliver. With the remoteness of this location also comes the fact that you’re beholden to eating here for every meal, which gets pricey. Beach bar was closed for the entire week, and it was hard to find anyone for service even in the bar. The few members of staff who were there were going above and beyond to make up for lack of numbers, but their struggle was visible (and at times resulted in frustration towards guests.) Feels like it either needs to come down in price (and stars) or level up in service.

5 stars for location but 5 star service is something else. This hotel is wonderfully renovated and appointed and its location is stunning. Unfortunately the inefficiency and unfriendliness of some of the staff and too many amenities not working is not what to be expected from a 5 star hotel. No attention to detail and too many frustrating discussions. For example we would have expected at least a plate of fruit or a welcome drink upon arrival, the AC in our room was not working properly and after several trips to the front desk to have it checked it wasn’t until the ceiling caved in that they addressed the situation by assigning us another room. Restaurant staff was very confusing, roles did not seem to be clear, being asked the same question multiple times or not at all (wine was never offered at dinner, we had to ask… even for a missing fork…). The food was good but pricey given the remote location. No food or drink service at the beach area. The massage jets at the pool did not work and only one of the pool treadmills was usable because they “lost” the other remote. Housekeeping was also inconsistent, we had to ask for toilet paper and did not get the turn-down service either of the 3 nights we stayed there. Check-out is at 11 but only one front desk staff available who seemed overwhelmed so it took a long time. We did manage to have a very relaxing stay thanks to the location but everything else was frustrating for the price point.

Unfortunately, our experience at Hotel Le Dune Piscinas (Sardinia) was far from what you’d expect from a 5-star hotel. Check-in was handled by a new, well-meaning staff member, but we received no introduction or basic information about the hotel—we had to ask everything ourselves later. We had big expectations to have a perfect closure of our 11 days trip over the beautiful island of Sardinia. When we asked if someone could help us get fuel in a canister, since our car was nearly empty and we weren’t sure we’d make it to the next gas station (especially given how remote and difficult the access road is), we were simply told “the gas station isn’t far.” No assistance offered—again, not what you’d expect from a luxury hotel in such an isolated location. Our room had no TV remote. After asking reception for help, no one showed up. Only after a follow-up call did someone come, said she’d check and get back to us—but we never heard from her again. When we followed up again in person, we were just told, “no TV.” No explanation, no apology. We’ve rarely experienced such dismissive behavior in a 5-star setting. We also asked about late check-out or luggage storage, as we had spa treatments booked. The response: there’s an event, talk to someone in the morning. No effort to assist or accommodate. We ended up canceling the spa—lost revenue for them, and a poor guest experience for us. The room itself felt neglected: we had to kill around 30 mosquitos, the bathroom fan didn’t work, nor did the ceiling speaker. It seemed like a room that shouldn’t have been in service at all. Even worse, housekeeping entered our room despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door—an absolute no-go for any hotel, let alone a supposed 5-star one. The only positive note was the spa staff. They were professional, attentive, and even helped us with some issues the reception couldn’t or wouldn’t handle. A clear contrast to the front desk. While the location is undeniably beautiful and unique—as many reviews note—the hotel’s service, maintenance, and attitude fall far short of luxury standards. The “gourmet” restaurant is, at best, average. Sadly, not recommend for the price asked.

Fantastic location in nature, very friendly people especially Ines from the restaurant gives a warm welcome. The only thing is the high prices of food and drinks, it’s not possible to go out for diner too other restaurants.

The rooms are very nice and also the location in this marvellous and unique scenery is well situated. It's really a wonderful experience to enjoy dinner during sunset. However, the service cannot keep up with the beauty of the beach, the dunes and the sea: the lady at the reception had a quite strict way of welcoming us. And made us pay the stay twice: in her accounting system the advance paymemt was not recorded, so WE had to pay another time. In the morning, they realized their mistake and promised a prompt repayment - this was more than two weeks ago and I am still waiting for my Money, despite having sent already two reminder- the last one with absolutely no reaction at all. And also Düring the dinner, we were served wrong desserts, and after having brought this to the attention of the main waiter, the only reaction was a shrug of the shoulders. In the morning, the chef de service appologized for his team. So, all in all, it was a memorable stay, however, for a 5★L hotel which hast also this price level, there were too many mistakes - and this leaves a bad aftertaste.

An extraordinarily interesting hotel built in an old mining area that both benefits from and is hindered by its isolation. Somewhat difficult and challenging to reach with winding dirt roads, Le Dune Piscinas has gone back in time and found a part of Sardinia that does not exist in Villasimius or the Costa Smerelda. The beaches and water are extraordinary and belong to you. There are long stretches of time you may not see anything but sand and the bluest sea. Sparsely populated, this is definitely not a place you come to party or disco. This is a spot to disappear from the world. A location where you can forget about the many problems of the planet. There are no stores, no shopping, no cafes, no real entertainment. Only the hypnotic sound of the sea and a beautiful pool which carries your mind away to simpler times without stress. The downside to all this isolation is that you are really isolated. There is nowhere to eat but the hotel’s restaurant. There is nowhere to get a drink but the hotel’s bar. There is nothing accessible off site. So, if you do not like the food or you find the service slow, there are no other options. You are really isolated to a point where you have no choice. In fact, on the adjacent beach which was quite large and beautiful, we literally found no one over the whole day except for the skeleton of a poor goat that must have fallen into the sea somewhere. The rooms are lovely, large modern (in a good way) and well appointed. Ours had a large patio overlooking the pool and ocean. The bathrooms are lovely and the shower excellent. Despite all modern conveniences, the designer kept many of the appointments of the old stone buildings which added to the overall atmosphere. Despite the isolation and one kitchen, the food is good. It is not as great as it could or should be, but it is good. The service is somewhat slow and can be frustrating at time. This, I suspect, is another result of isolation. It is likely difficult to attract the very best in the service industry here. The staff must feel the impact of being so isolated; that said they do try their very best and there are several who are extremely nice and make an extra effort. Another impact of isolation is that when products are out of stock, it takes time to restock them. An example is several Vermentinos from good producers which were on the wine list were not available. When I asked the bar manager, he indicated that expected shipments never arrived. Again, isolation has its downside. Similar experiences involved food products which limited meal choices to some extent. Breakfast (included) was very good with an abundance of local foods like 6 different local sheep cheeses and goat yogurt. A great way to start the day and it added to our sense of adventure. Unfortunately, check-out was maddeningly slow and unacceptable for a 5-stat hotel as the lone woman in charge seemed confused by the computer and attempted everything by hand. She was clearly frustrated and eventually (20 min) was coached by a younger manager to complete the check out procedure. Despite some negatives, Le Dune Piscinas is an extraordinary experience and a nice way to check into a different, slower pace than our crazy world. It is highly recommended although traveling here with young children may not be the best idea. They will likely be bored. Isolation has its benefits but children may not agree. 4.5 stars.

The food is fabulous. We were half-board which was great value. I can't praise the quality of the food, the menu options, the wine list & service highly enough. It's just as well because the location is isolated & I don't think there's a restaurant for miles. It's the best food we've had in Sardinia. Enough of that. The hotel is great. It's boutique not resort 5 star. Our room wasn't huge but it was beautiful. The beach & settling is probably unique for Sardinia. The hotel sits on a massive beach/expanse of sand. It's a former mining export facility & there's no way you'd get permission to build it today. Value for money? High. Yes, as others have posted the bar is a couple of Euros higher but...err..you're in a low volume, high quality, unique setting. Worth every penny.

Beautiful important archaeological site. The tours are every 30 minutes and they last 1 hour. Tour is available in English too, price is decent and includes the museum in the village ahead of the site and other activities as well. Highly recommended.

UNESCO world heritage. Very interesting historical place to visit. Very good guided tour (eng) at this +1500 years old fortress. Be prepared for narrow and steep walkways within the structure.

Fascinating and a must-see site for all who love ancient history. Well-preserved Nuragic complex dating back over 3,500 years. The central tower (~ 18 meters high) and surrounding village give you a real sense of how advanced the Nuragic civilization was. Narrow passages, spiral staircases, and circular huts show how people lived many years ago. The guided tour was informative and brought the place to life. Included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Please check the time when excursions start to avoid long waiting (especially in English). Highly recommended

Interesting former fort. An archaeological experience although much reconstructed. Tour takes you up the remains and into the narrow tunnels. Inside isn't for information or claustrophobic! Fascinating site and location. Tours are required and run every half hour. Unesco interest.

The past can be touched and felt. Amazing piece of history. The tour guide was very kind and funny. No question left un answered. But note: The pathways inside the tower are really narrow and steep. Good footwear needed ...not for claustrophobic people or when afraid of hights.

It's a good experience since you learn a bit of the history of Nuragis, also the archeological site is quite impressive due to the rock sizes, however, it is a short visit, no museums or any other interactive experience that will explain or show more about the history of Nuragis besides what the guide explains. Short experience, it's worth to visit if you are driving through.

The archaeological site itself is truly impressive and well worth visiting; the problem lies with the tour guide. During the tour, you are required to follow the guide. However, perhaps because it was peak tourist season in August, the guide seemed more like a temporary employee. Her English was fluent, but somewhat unclear, as if she had simply memorized a script. She couldn't understand questions asked in English, and didn't seem to have a deep understanding of the site's history. Her presentation consisted of a few photocopied pictures, and with so many people spread out, it was difficult to hear her. Furthermore, she didn't allow enough time to properly explore and appreciate the site. Even worse, when we wanted to stop for a few minutes to observe and take photos, she rudely refused and abruptly closed the gate (there were no other groups, so there was no issue of overcrowding). She ignored our questions, even when we told her that another family from our group was still behind us, slowly walking along. She offered no response and showed no enthusiasm or passion for the culture. There were many tourists from various countries. It's fair to say that visiting guided tours is a bit of a gamble. During our travels in Sardinia, we visited countless sites and met many enthusiastic tour guides who were passionate about history and culture; we learned so much from them and left with a wealth of knowledge and wonderful memories. However, for this particular tour, had we not done some research beforehand, paying for the guided tour would have been a waste of money and we would have been disappointed.

Is Arutas Beach is truly unique, with its white quartz sand and crystal-clear waters. Easy access with nearby parking, and the beach is also wheelchair friendly. A rare and exceptional spot to relax, swim, and enjoy unforgettable views.

Arrived early in the morning around 9.30. Payed parking not cheap. 8.50euro for 6 hours or 10 euro for the all day. From the parking there à several paths to walk. The one nicer than the other with a small bridge to pass. Today no beach garde and no marking of the safe swimming area. The beach was today after the big rain and thunder showers à little bit mixed with dry grass. There are a lot of rocks, small and big to take care of. Even for your parasol you have to find the right spot to dig into the risotto liked small stone beach. The sea was calm and enough places to install yourself. Overall an ok beach. Don’t forget to follow the local restrictions of the Sardinia beaches with big fines.

A white coarse grain quartz “sand” beach. Quite special. The water is very clear and we enjoyed swimming in it. The waves weren’t too big although you get deep very quickly. There are showers to get the salt and the sand off. We came by bike so parking wasn’t a cost or problem. If to go further south along the dirt road then the parking is free.

The shoreline is covered with unique quartz "rice-grain" sand that gives the place a magical appearance and feels great underfoot. It’s a paradise for nature lovers and perfect for a peaceful day by the sea. *Heads-up:* As the sun begins to set, be prepared — the mosquitoes come out in full force and they don’t hold back! Bring repellent if you plan to stay late.

The best beach in the Sinis' peninsula. Cristal clear waters and the sand is made of white quartz. It gets busy. Best time to visit and get a nice spot are early morning or late afternoon. I recommend watching the sunsets.

We chose this beach after seeing the reviews, particularly due to the unique terrain. It was lovely, and the miniscule pebbles as a substitute for sand is something I’d wish instead of every sandy beach from now onwards. Water is crystal clear and the atmosphere is relaxing.

Stunning pure nature. You can see goats , horses, muflons and of course unique white donkeys walking around you. Also the prison is very interesting. I recommend to take a boat taxi from windsurfing center near LA Pelosa

An amazing beach that offers you fine sand, clear water and the best view you can have. We went with our beach towels and it was crowded. We hunted the spots so we can stay. I suggest to come in the morning to catch good spots because the beach is a little one.

The water was crystal clear, one of the best we've ever been in. It's a truly wonderful experience, especially if you walk a bit further down the beach. Compared to the first section, it wasn't very crowded, and even where we rented sun loungers, no one was swimming. Because we arrived in September, two sun loungers and an umbrella at the front cost 30 euros. Kayak is also available for rent in the section where we stayed, and you can go kayak for an hour for 25 euros.

Amazing sea… You have to come here! You can park your car nearby the way for free, then walk 10-15 minutes. The cheapest sunbeds are €40 in September, but there are also free areas. If you don’t have an umbrella, just find a tree for shade and enjoy this amazing sea all day long.

A wonderful place to visit with a low draft sailing boat. The permit cost is 40% cheaper for sailing boats, which is logical and we appreciate that. Powerboats are noisy and generate pollution. The park has hundreds of places where to anchor, pristine and ecologically sound. The park authorities obviously do a good job!

After spending some days at Capo Testa, where we enjoyed snorkeling and discovering a reach underwater life, we decided to take a boat trip to the Maddalena National Park. We were full of expectation, thinking how wonderful it may be snorkeling there. Sailing with the wind in a small crew was a good start, but the the stop at the first cove was very disappointing: we were expected to swim between moving boats, so we risked to see nothing, life under water almost not existing. We were told that since it is September now there is less nautic trafic, but we witnessed every kind of boats coming from all directions and very close to the coves. We anchored in a more quiet and less touristic cove but again underwater life very poor. The day was at the end pleasant because of sailing and a nice skipper and the visit to the Cala Rosa, which is really protected, but we understood that the National Park is not a place to protect nature rather it is a place to make money, a LunaPark for reach tourist. I hope things will change and more ecologic tourism, which still advantage local people, will develop. Instead of taking a boat trip, please look for nice caves along the cost and you will have more fun and save money!😊

Beautiful landscape. Best is island Caprera which is connected to La Maddalena with a bridge. You can do nice walks in the national park.

Absolutely stunning beach , the water is crystal clear and the backdrop of tees around the bay is glorious. Some fabulous beaches bars too. We recommend La Plage and Le Fort. The downside is it gets super busy in peak season. If you have to go in August go early morning, if you are lucky enough to go late September, you will be in paradise !

The beach consists of a long narrow strip of fine clean sand (between 10m and 30m in width), skirting a bay of very shallow clear water which extends at least 50 m from the shoreline. The setting is hardly spectacular but the peninsula making up the South side of the bay provides a pretty backdrop. On a fine sunny weekday afternoon towards the end of September the beach was busy, but not oppressively so. All the usual water sports/activities were available and the beach is also a drop-off/pick-up point for cruises along the coast. Various bars - none very special - are dotted along the central part of the beach, closest to the parking areas. Was it quiet or romantic : no, would it be a fine place for small children to paddle in the water : emphatically yes. In line with the reports from other reviewers, I can easily imagine that it would be an absolute zoo in July and August.

We were here 2 weeks ago, not over impressed, it what to busy and the sea wasn’t as clear as many people had described. If I’m honest I was a little bit disappointed

Beautiful clean water, with some parts more crowded than others. Parking for free is tricky, better either choose a beachclub if you plan to eat anyways (parking fees will be deducted), or there are large cheap parkings at the north eastern end.

A must see in the south of Corsica. When we went it was raining but the sea water was still warm. Easy access, cheap parking and lovely bar on the beach. Overall a great beach.

Great beach, turquoise water and it was not crowded but parking is ridiculously expensive, 35 eur for 5 hours on the beach or in best case 11.20 eur for 4 hours. I went there very much at the end of the season. No problem parking plenty of place on the beach. Temperature was perfect for me. Could still get a drink. I appreciate others may have different experiences if they go in July or August but has to be one of the most stunning beaches in France.

Wonderful sand beach with convenient parking. Came at around 11 in the morning and it was not a problem to park car in the shade of pine trees. And parking is free! Beach itself goes alongside, walk further and it will not be crowded at all. Crystal clear and shallow water, stones to make insta pics, bars everything is there! The best beach for us visited in Corsica! Recommended!!!

At 11am, we’ve ordered 2 cappuccinos at an almost empty restaurant. We were served two cups of warm milk with barely dissolved instant coffee or similar substance floating on top although they have an espresso machine. Upon politely asking whether our order was misunderstood, we were informed in no uncertain terms that “chez nous le cappuccino est comme ça”. Best avoided.

If you’re fascinated by history, this is a must-see. It’s amazing to visit the actual house where Napoleon grew up, so much to take in and imagine from that era! But they could have made effort to make it a better experience.

This significant house, the childhood home of Napoleon Bonaparte, offers a glimpse into the lifestyle, furniture, and daily life of the family. However, the experience could be enhanced and made more educational. Unfortunately, there were no English text provided, and the audio guides were unavailable. As a result, we felt that we didn’t get as much as we had hoped. We would appreciate it if they could incorporate movies or videos that showcase the daily life of the family, their habits, and a brief history of the family tree. This would provide enthusiasts with much more to explore and learn. The ticket was 7 Euros per adult.

Napoleon's birthplace. Interesting museum, although not much is the same as when he lived there. His history and that of his family is well outlined. You are given an audio tour device at the door and the narration is pretty good in English. In early October there was a small line up to get in, but it went quickly. Note that the museum is closed for about 45 minutes around lunchtime. Avoid bringing large backpacks if you can. Security check at the door.

Nice little piece of great European history. Museum dedicated solely to Napoleon's early life, without emphasis on his military career. Well organised and not very crowded. Ten minutes waiting for entrance is to be expected and no liquids allowed inside.

If you visit Ajaccio, you should definitely stop by this place — the house where Napoleon spent part of his life, now turned into a museum. The entrance fee is €7 for visitors over the age of 25.

So this was the childhood home of Napolis whom left at 9 years old to go to France military academy. He led a troubled youth on the island. So his dad shipped him off to military school with his brother. Inter sting note. This is not where he was as exiled to. Just where he started life. Family was poor. Rented rooms in the home. It was only many years later the family came into favor and money with the military escapades of Napoleon. Who interestingly sought to place his sisters and brothers in positions of power all throughout Europe. A very modest old building. Nothing really great to see but history as it occurred.

I was looking forward to our six and a half hour journey from Bastia to Nice on Corsica Ferries, but I must admit it turned out to be a terrible experience. The staff were extremely unhelpful and miserable. It was as if they were being made to work and didn't want to. Their attitude was abysmal. The food, which I expect to be expensive on a ferry, truly was expensive with a 500ml bottle of still water costing €2.90. The music on the sundeck was far too loud and someone somewhere kept flicking from track to track part way through a song. The dreadful music is not necessary in this day and age where passengers can choose to listen to what they like on their smartphones. All in all I'm glad I won't be travelling with Corsica ferries ever again.

Had a lovely time here. The tower itself has a beautiful view when you're at the top. The steps are slippery tho so be careful aspecially when walking back down. The cathedral is gorgeous also on the inside. We bought tickets that included entree to all buildings and museums and also walked the walls of pisa all the way (which was quite long). I’m not sure what the deal is with any caretakers for the cats but it would be nice to have a sign or something prior to starting the trail to let people know there are cats along the way, so people can purchase food before going up…. Lots of people were very upset to see the cats there with no food and there’s nothing to do about it at that point… it is mid-trail and nothing around. Otherwise, it is very uphill so be very prepared - but the sights are well worth it!

It’s doable both ways, but know that it will be more difficult if you start from Monterosso. The views will be beautiful & the same whichever town you start from. I had to take a lot of breaks, but many people (both old & young) did the same so I didn’t feel too left out. I recommend you do the hike early in the morning or towards late afternoon, that way you can have a little bit of a breeze and it’s not constantly hot. For reference, we did the hike with a lot of breezes and I STILL had my shirt drenched with sweat. If it is rainy, be careful!! Wear appropriate shoes for that. We did it while it was sunny & dry but there were many areas that were slip-potential. Also, you can access the viewpoint of the Vernazza background for picture-taking WITHOUT having to hike. I have been to the Sistine Chapel and it was really nice but so crowded and honestly hard to see most of it with really long line ups. It was a great opportunity to visit what still stands of an old castle. Tons of stairs to get to the top. Not a real lot to see. But glad I did it. Not for anyone with issues with heights. I was lucky to do this when no one else was in the building. If you are pressed for time may be worth just checking out the town instead.

Came here to spend a few hours, to see the castle and the other sights and some walk. The whole small medieval town is a sight for itself. We parked down in the village and walk the hill up to the castle. Beautiful buildings and architecture all the way up. And on top of course the castle, the tower and many other sights. As well as a small park with some nice views. The town dates back to the 8th Century, but it believed to be even older. The castle itself (the "Borgo") was build in 1342, while the nearby church "Santa Maria Assunta" dates back to the 11th Century. Then there's the Palazzo del Podestà and the Bell tower and other notable buildings up there in the castle area. It was also the filming location of "Ladyhawke" starring Matthew Broderick, Rutger Hauer and Michelle Pfeiffer. We came here on a sunday, there were some visitors, but we expected a lot more, free parking available down in the village as well. A really wonderful old town worth visiting. We didn't expect much, since we really didn't know much about the place, but were really impressed by this beautiful town.

Full of bourgeoisie with expensive cars who live in the castle. But beautiful view from the castle and also museum of Italian history and culture.

Quite and very authentic medieval town. With local food and super views. Here starts Apenino so many possibilities to trekking. Good place to try piacentino cuisine, specific for Emilia Romagnia

Getting caught up on reviews/pics from out trip to Italy in May/June 2024. What an amazing castle! The owner/family still lives there, but has opened the castle for tours. The history of the castle goes back some 1500 years. It’s on a large hill overlooking the Trebbia River, in the province of Piacenza, Italy. Many of the rooms in the castle are “as is”… as they have been for centuries. So much history there, from prisoners to royal guests from all over Europe. It really is a very cool place to visit, good for families as well!

Would be a great trip but if you are not Italian, the tour guides are extremely inhospitable and rude. They do not try to hide their xenophobia. In certain rooms they refuse to speak anything but Italian, and they will not make eye contact with anyone who does not. We were dismissed quickly and the visit was not worth the money. I agree with other reviews, the staff make this a must-miss and unpleasant experience.

This could be a fantastic experience if only the (still living) descendants weren't so selfish and exclusive. For instance: you can't take photos inside the castle; wonder why? me too! Also, the rooms and most of the castle isn't true to its origin: it's rebuilt, not restored. Not recommended.

gorgeous ancient castle. had a lovely visit, a historian took us to see some of the rooms although the family still lives there. I particularly appreciated the 17th century games and toys and the armours hall.

The location is timeless and absolutely gorgeous! The food was really really good with a great service! Absolutely delighted by the fabulous lunch that we had!

Nice place to visit. Unfortunately the castle was closed when we arrived here but we had a very good lunch in this area.

One of the most beautiful Cathedrals I’ve had the opportunity to visit. Make sure you look up in every vestibule !

It’s a lot of steps to go up the tower but there is something to see on each floor as well as to catch your breath. It is really worth paying to see the tower which includes access to the Baptist part. But the Tower makes you really look at the clock which is far, far advanced to anything we have still and it still works in part. Plus the great views of the city at the top. The cathedral itself is a must too including the crypt and really a great respite from the heat.

Absolutely beautiful cathedral! The architecture is impressive from both outside and inside. The atmosphere inside is peaceful and highly decorated with paintings. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in Cremona.

A fantastic cathedral. We went to mass which was incredible with voices of the choir like angels. And what a beautiful church. The art is beautiful. Plan on at least an hour for a visit. Longer if you attend mass.

This place is wonderful, the Torrazzo is the 3rd tallest brickwork bell tower in the world, was constructed in 1309. the view from the tower is astonishing

Imposing and vast, much more than you might reckon for a relatively small city as Cremona. The inside is richly decorated (many reinassance artists contributed to its beautifully preserved frescoes) and the vault awe-inspiring. The church is free to visit - the rest of the complex, for example the bell tower, is not. Don't miss the floor mosaics in the crypt!

Loved this castle. great place to spend a couple of hours wondering around the grounds of this ancient castle. The tower provided an amazing view of the city. I highly recommend stopping here and taking in a coffee in the piazza outside the castle. Parking was easy and the castle is located near many of the other historic sites.

Good for a short stop while travelling between Franciacorta and Lake Garda. The castle is beautifully lighted up in the evening and there is free parking at the base of the castle. Great spot to see the sunset and the castle’s drawbridge is very well preserved too.

Awesome Castle. The walk up is interesting, following the names of terrorism victims and the view from the top is amazing. No entrance fee either. Best thing we did in Brescia.

Lovely castle to visit for free with great views round the city. Lots of seating areas for sitting with lunch and free toilets. There are a couple of museums that we didnt have time to visit bur would have liked to. There is a ricket for 19 euris for adults that allows access to many of the main sights. Definitely worth the walk up the steps or the less steep path.

Great visit, and it was free when I visited. Amazing view over the city. It was not crowded, and there was available free parking. I enjoyed it.

Impressive castle with stunning views over Brescia. Walk from the city centre is pleasant (a bit steep in parts but manageable). Entrance to castle grounds is free and it’s very easy to enjoy 2+ hours exploring and appreciate the views!

Great place for younger children, height limits on some rides (105cm & 120cm) so worth keeping this in mind before you visit. Was a hot June day, plenty of wet areas to cool down but they are a bit manic so need to supervise young ones Bought our tickets in advance, and walked right in Food was responsibly priced, and the pizza I had was really good!

Nice place for younger children that want to experience rides. However, we were bit disappointed about Thomas the train been on service on that day so we couldn't experience it. We were waiting for it and after asking to one of the staff members we discovered that wasn't operating. Was a quite day so we didn't experience any queue. I don' t think is worth waiting 45min or more for a ride on peak season. Overall was a nice experience, my son had so much fun and had the possibility to experience different rides that he never tried before

Definitely interesting if you have kids and a spare day near Milan, though underwhelming if you’ve been to other parcs in Europe/US. It’s really geared to young kids, teenagers and up would quickly get bored. The parc itself is small but spacious, and clean. The only downside is the access roads; whover design the last couple of kms of entrance to the olace must have truly hated the parc (or people in general). Expect to waste about 30’ sitting in the car from the moment you see the entrance sign at a distance till you actually cross it

Great for little kids. Very crowded. Service is amazing. Paid parking (7 Euro). Very clean.

Unfortunately they have beit's becoming a place where the crowds exceed the livability just to pursuit profit. The ambience is actually well done and plenty of services. But you'll easily spend more time queuing (average 20 mins) instead of enjoying carousel.

We loved it.. very nice place and good for toddlers.. the rides start for children from the length of 90cm and there are many for that age.. there is an aquario and rettilario which made it more interesting.. there is a mini Italia and it very nice too..

Totally satisfying from beginning to end! We spent the afternoon at the spa, and were truly impressed by the breathtaking decoration, attention to detail, and the many different spaces to relax and enjoy. After doing a trekking route from Bergamo to San Pellegrino, this place felt like pure heaven — a well-deserved reward after a beautiful but intense hike. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to have more food and snack options, especially for those spending several hours inside. A beautiful and rejuvenating place, ideal for couples, solo travelers, or friends seeking deep relaxation. Highly recommended after any outdoor activity in the region!

A spa excellence around the world, with a great combination of facilities, location (one of the best examples of Italian liberty style IMO) and value for money on offer. It can get a bit busy, even on a Wednesday, but there's plenty of space for everyone, without ever feeling overcrowded or cramped. Only downside is the lack of any "ritual" or "experience" at determined time-slots like at Asmana or De-Montel, which could further enhance the relaxing journey

We came on Monday around 12:30, and lunch at 1:00 was included. Later, at 4:45 pm, we were also offered complimentary snacks and drinks in the buffet area — such a nice surprise! The whole experience was amazing: there are plenty of rooms to relax in, saunas, and a pool. They even gifted us a wonderful hand cream, and the whole place smells incredible and looks beautiful. We’ll definitely come back again! Five hours just flew by — if you think you might get bored, you definitely won’t. It’s easy to spend the entire day there.

Amazing experience, one of the best spa resort I have ever seen! Great atmosphere, amazing buildings, I felt like I was in a palace! Great variety of heated pools and different activities! The massage was unbelievable good! Very busy and popular but everything was perfect! My only advice would be to take your own flip flops because the ones they provide are not very comfortable.

Option chosen was the 17:30 to 22:00 closing cost €55 bought and paid for a treat from our daughter-in-law. This included an Italian cold meal / snack with a drink 🥃 healthy option nibbles. Then we spend time both in and outside. Sauna pools , jacuzzi, steam rooms , foot spas. When we were leaving we found hot rooms with fragrance and across the 🧊 ice room. Young and old all paraded around in their flip flops and robes. Both of us are in the older “lemmin” stage of life and enjoyed it as 2 old “foggi’s” Well worth the experience

I'm going to try keep this short as to not distract from the main points. 1. Too many people. Even on a Wednesday. I can't fathom the weekends. This seems to be a problem that has gotten worse in the last year. First visit was September 2024 and now October 2025. Dedicated time slots and raise the prices if you want but it's not worth the effort at this point. Normal people overpaying to pretend to be rich for a day. No value. 2. Public display of affection. There is a limit and I reached it today when a young couple was literally having intercourse next to us, I was about a meter away and left after a very awkward couple minutes of denial. Then when we passed by the window to the same small pool (next to the steam sauna) he was going down on her. I can't make this up. Took a shower walked back by, still going. Probably 5 minutes. Atleast 30 people must have seen this. Unacceptable. 3. Fashion show, Instagram/Tiktok make-out location. Maybe it's the proximity to Milan. I don't understand it. Wellness is not on the mind for any of the younger crowd. 4. Zero spa etiquette. The swimsuits in the sauna are already hard enough to wrap my mind around - compared to Austrian and German counterparts. Lack of decorum in places meant for relaxation is painful. You may need to honestly consider staff to keep people on track and following instructions. Then when you are changing or showering in the WOMEN'S locker room you get laughed at of you are naked. 5. Visit once for the views. Go elsewhere for relaxation. It's Disneyland at this point. Nothing says spa day like queuing up to sweat in a sauna where half bring in their shoes in and no towel. If you even have shoes left. Surely they will get stolen at some point during your stay if you don't bring your own. The Good: Architecture, old world charm in the historic Casino area with heaps of potential. If other problems were addressed, I think it could be a 5/5, someday.

Paradise on the Earth. I was blessed to receive a full day gift voucher from my friends for QC Terme SPA. I've chosen San Pellegrino and was absolutely blown away by its beauty and full experience. First of all—the location is one if a kind—magical. Its like a palace. Personnel is super polite and professional. The SPA experience itself is Reviving — flowing from "dry" areas such as salt sauna , cinema sauna, alps emmersive experience, aroma therapy etc to water based treatment with jacuzzis , labyrinth and just simple chill at internal or external areas. I came out of the spa — reborn— new body and new soul. Thank you so much! Highly recommend and definitely will be back! I also want to explore other QC Terme centers located in different places- curious - what experience will it be 🩷🫶🙏
