Beautiful clean water, with some parts more crowded than others. Parking for free is tricky, better either choose a beachclub if you plan to eat anyways (parking fees will be deducted), or there are large cheap parkings at the north eastern end.

A must see in the south of Corsica. When we went it was raining but the sea water was still warm. Easy access, cheap parking and lovely bar on the beach. Overall a great beach.

Great beach, turquoise water and it was not crowded but parking is ridiculously expensive, 35 eur for 5 hours on the beach or in best case 11.20 eur for 4 hours. And then you have to walk 600 meters downhill and coming back to the car is a real training. There is one bar and one restaurant with prices for Space tourism

I went there very much at the end of the season. No problem parking plenty of place on the beach. Temperature was perfect for me. Could still get a drink. I appreciate others may have different experiences if they go in July or August but has to be one of the most stunning beaches in France.

Wonderful sand beach with convenient parking. Came at around 11 in the morning and it was not a problem to park car in the shade of pine trees. And parking is free! Beach itself goes alongside, walk further and it will not be crowded at all. Crystal clear and shallow water, stones to make insta pics, bars everything is there! The best beach for us visited in Corsica! Recommended!!!

Giant bastion, when you aproach those walls from land it is like OMG. Inside is a small town with a church of John the Baptist. If you are lucky to get a parking place bellow the walls, otherwise park before the marine and have a nice walk through turist streets. Once inside encircle the walls and enjoy the view.

Lovely place to visit, just be prepared for alot of steps and steep gradients but the view is worth it.

Beautiful citadelle, great spots for sunset drinks, and a few very nice places to eat. Plenty more on the lower town too.

I enjoyed Neptune's Grotto, it's beautiful and ethereal. The boat ride there was lovely and weather was perfect. There are a lot of people in at any given time, so expect some queues and slowness. But it's a little confusing online how to book. If taking the boat, you buy a ticket from the vendor in person, not online. My ticket was €17. But the Grotto has a separate admission which is €14. This caught a few people out on the day. They do take card and cash 🙂

First time being in a cave, cool place to view. Guide tours in both Italian and English, also possible to ask questions in French. Typical tourist attraction but one definitely worth doing when in Alghero.

Overcrowded + horrible organization 😔 The cave was beautiful, the boat ride was pleasant, and the crew was skilled and polite. For these aspects, I would give 10 out of 5 stars. However, the organization at the cave entrance was terrible. About half of our boat was overtaken by a group of around 40 German tourists. When we pointed this out, they laughed at us. When we reported it to the staff at the ticket office and the entrance, they acted as if it wasn’t their problem. The group was let in ahead of us simply because they pushed through. Considering the entrance fee wasn’t cheap, the service was very poor and irresponsible. As a result, I spent the entire cave visit worrying whether we would make it back in time for the boat, and I couldn’t enjoy the tour. I would only recommend this place to people with strong nerves.

The lady at the ticket office was very professional and knowledgeable. The guy at the boat entrance was rude and very unprofessional. Shouting and making hand gestures!! Boats are dated and very crowded, probably over the allowed capacity limit. Try other operators to visit the caves.

Good afternoon, there was one tour at 10, one at 3 pm that day. Nice tour sailors, really helpful. They maybe could give us more details about the region/environment. Really hot on the boat so don’t forget sunscreen and water!!

This is a trip you must do. The Grotte is a wonderful sight to see (price is completely seperate to the boat ride out and my experience is that you are told this) I have seen dolphins on 2 trips out to the Grotte and Steps. The crew on Debora are great. Very welcoming and hospitable. Coffee and refreshments are served on board ☕️

Absolutely dissapointing..arrived at the cave and captain said that weather is not good to park the boat. Did not even reach the entrance to see that. At that moment the waves was 0.6-0.8m. They already told while buying tickets that if weather is not good they will just swim around with the boat (like they knew that it will happen from the beginning).

Very pretty, but very expensive and full of people. First row 50 (2 chairs and 1 umbrella) other rows 45. It’s very very full and very very beautiful. Depends on the kind of trip you are doing. And if you enter the website at 8 it’s almost sure you can buy. Parking paid, saw many people getting tickets on the way out, so pay for the hours you are going to stay.

What is good: - view and the sea was just so beautiful and a must see for sure What is bad: - parking is quite expensive (paid 15€ for 4h) - you need to put a mat below your beach towel - reserving is a bit stressful (tickets are very popular and so you should reserve by 8am (or 9am when the not fulfilled reservations get back online)) - place is super crowded; it is really hard to relax there - windy place; be prepared for flying sun umbrellas (so better get a anker for your umbrella)

Sure the water is beautiful, but you have to share it with hundreds of other people. Way too crowded. I thought that needing to make a reservation and pay ahead of time that they limited the number of people but that's not the case. We stayed the whole day to get our money's worth, but the beach was too crowded. There are beaches that are just as beautiful, free, and not full of people. Highly overrated.

This is one of the most popular beaches in Sardinia. The water is clean and transparent. We went off-season (mid-October) and were positively surprised that they don`t charge for parking now. Better arrive early in the morning because an hour later the parking was almost full. The weather in October turned out to be perfect for beach time - less crowds and more parking space. Another positive surprise is that they did not charge us for a beach towel mat - there was no one to look after this. Also being off-season we did not have to make a reservation and just popped-up. The beach is suitable for families with children - no waves, calm water. Totally recommend but come here in October.

Super crowded, and impossible to find parking after 10:30 am, even in late September, on a weekday. This is a "fake" beach where social validation, digital culture, and identity performance is the main attraction. By the way, you'll need to make reservations a month in advance. Parking is super expensive, if you can find any spaces. This is your typical Instagram scam. That being said, the water is clear and shallow, a perfect swimming pool. Come here early to enjoy it. Oh, no reservations required if you're not planning to lie on the sandy beach.

One of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. The water is so blue and tranquil. Plan ahead to either get a full day pass 7 days in advance which allows you to enter the beach at anytime on the day(s) you previously selected. Alternatively, you can obtain a QR code 48-hour in advance, however, you must enter during a specific time. You will also need to pay for parking which accepts credit cards. Plan in advance and you will absolutely enjoy your time here.

Visited this place in the “Cova day” as I was traveling with my son. (They just allowed minors to join with parents, during the day and before the sunset) After 5pm, adults only and minors with 16 yo+ accompanied by parents. The place is beautiful with amazing views. I really want to back to see the sunset and enjoy the nightclub next time (without children 😁)

Beautiful place in general BUT!!! We’ve waited for too long on a line to get in, in case that the place was definitely not crowded when finally we got in. The music (by DJ) was too melancholic and the people were forcing themselves to dance (may be because it was very early, but anyway it could be more fun. Too many people were there just for the sunset, it was impossible to get a good spot to see it. The girl at the entrance was very polite and ready to help anyone. If you want to visit the place, please make a reservation! Super important. The reservation should be made early from 13:00 to 15:00. We ordered our drinks on a bar where one guy was working and three waitresses were watching. Long line btw. We paid 60€ for two and a drink was included. Dancing area could be more cozy

A stunning spot to watch the sunset on the island. The views are absolutely picturesque, and it’s a fantastic place to explore, especially in the golden hour. We didn’t book tickets in advance but only waited around 10 minutes to get in. It’s definitely an Instagram hotspot, so while the scenery is breathtaking, the atmosphere can feel a bit curated with lots of people focused on getting the perfect shot. Still, it’s well worth the visit for the views alone.

A must-visit in Menorca! 🌅 The sunset view is simply magical, and the whole place feels like it’s been designed to celebrate light, sound, and nature together. Truly inspiring atmosphere.

Amazing scenery, clean and well maintained place! We went there in the midday but must be amazing during sunset or at night. We paid 15€ pp with a drink included.

All about the stunning location. What an incredible experience. We visited for the second time in August 2025 and arrived at around 21:30 when a band was playing. DJ took over at around 22:30 and we stayed and danced for around another hour. Would definitely recommend it although it costs 25€ to get in but this does include the cost of your first drink.

It’s a special place so crowd is expected. But we went around 4pm, we got the great views, had couple drinks and left, it was a great experience as our expectation was low

I had a car rented during my holiday on the island, but unfortunately I couldn't use it to rich Cala Turqueta and Cala Macarelleta. Starting with June until end of September the access to these two caves with car is impossible but with bus only. This is because the parking spaces are limited on these 2 beaches and the acces from the main road/highway to them is very narrow. So, the best way to reach to the beaches from whatever you are located in Ciutadella, Cala n Bosch, Cala Blanca is to reach the bus station "Via Perimetral" - Ciutadella . From here you can take bus Nr. 68 to Turqueta or bus Nr. 69 to Macarelleta. It cost 10 Euros per person covering both ways for each destination. Once arrived , you will need to walk for up to 15 min. through forrest to reach the sea. It s worthed, the water is pristine, beautiful colour, silence. Enjoy. Ps: Don t forget to return in time to your scheduled bus.

We parked at Son Bou and walked the coastal path to Cala Turqueta. It took an hour or so each way but meant parking was easy. It’s a beautiful beach but was pretty busy, even in early October on a weekday.

Cala en Turqueta is a true hidden gem! The water is unbelievably clear and beautifully blue, perfect for snorkeling and swimming. The beach is surrounded by lush greenery, making it feel like a peaceful oasis away from the crowds. It’s the perfect spot to relax, enjoy nature, and soak up the stunning views. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in the area!

Cala en Torqueta is one of the most beautiful coves of the island, we reached it thanks to a boat excursion and we have no idea if outside the beach are available some kind of service, inside the beach there is only a lifeguard station and no more, you must have your own umbrella. The sand is white and there are lots of panoramic point where you can take photos and dive from it. This is one of the most recommended coves of the all island. You must see it.

Don’t go here. Unless youre planning to go at 05.00!!! We arrived around 9.30 but parking was already full and the people made us leave.

There is 20 mins walk to the beach. The parking is free but limited to probably 200. The parking is also attended and you will be guided to the next parking spot. At the car park there is bar which sales food/snacks and drinks (Only cash though). You can also take your shower there (1€ per minute of water in a coin drop in box). It is really worth to visit it. Bear in mind if the car park is full it probably means the beach is also packed up. But the water is usually really clear and the scenery is mindblowing - Thanks god for the best there is no concrete there....

Beautiful place to go. Try to be early (get there before 8AM) since it can be limited (mostly due to COVID measures). In high season, sometimes it can get full at 7:30. There's a small serving cafeteria at the parking with some snacks, although, bring your own is more recommended. A note on this beach: rather crowded and it smells a bit due to a mangrove at the back of the beach.

Visited without booking and we could not get tickets to enter house as it was fully booked so recommend booking before going. We visited the gardens though, ticket 6 euro and well worth a visit as it has a lot of Dali's touches. Also bar and beach for a beer, coffee and stroll amongst the boats.

I bought our tickets about two months in advance so we were ready. What we were not ready for was how cool the house was!! We had a friendly guide where took us through and spoke English and French to the rest. I loved that they had lockers free of charge available for larger bags. Also the Caffe by the entrance has a cute balcony on the top floor and tables outside. It was uplifting to soak up the local atmosphere.

100,000% worth the visit! Buy tickets in advance as tour groups are kept to 10 people at a time. Excellent museum with guides who know their material. It was a highlight experience to walk into the Secret Room where Dalí had his parties and where you can hear an echo of your voice. Loved touring the large olive orchards and seeing how Dalí lived and worked. Save time to watch the video at the top of the orchard. We stayed in Cadaques and loved our time there, if driving in give yourself plenty of time to arrive and navigate the mountain roads and take in the views. Would absolutely love to return to this wonderful place.

We loved our visit to the Dali house and gardens. Booking tickets in advance is recommended since groups are limited to 8 people at a time. The guides provided explanations in English, Spanish, Catalan, and French.

Ok, first I will answer to all 1⭐️: buy your tickets in advance and be on time. Museum is an old theatre restored and some corridors are just to narrow to accommodate more people. About museum: after seeing lots of museums all over the world, not even Dali fan, I have to say- you have to visit it.

Well, I will say that the staff here is super friendly and helpful. We had a little ticket slip-up and they really came through and helped us out. The tour guide was good too. But wow, Dali's house is the most ugly and unimpressive thing I've ever seen. His artistic nature didn't really translate into the property as much as I'd expected, and to be honest it's mostly just a lot of... trash. And bad taxidermy. The garden is nice, for the trees and plants. And the wife's dome room is interesting. So, there's that. Anyway, don't feel bad if you miss this on your trip 😅

Beautiful place and easy to get to on public transport. Plenty of places for food, and the quaint little shops are lovely to look around! The walk round the wall was also breath taking, and the view from the top is definitely worth it.

A must visit if you’re in the island of Mallorca, Spain. Walked along the iconic medieval wall for panoramic views, had the most delicious seafood lunch and drove for 10/15 minutes to see the stunning view at la Victoria beach.

The old town of Alcúdia is absolutely worth a visit! 📸🌴 Narrow streets, historic buildings, and a charming atmosphere make walking around a real highlight. Perfect for strolling, discovering little cafés, and soaking up the Mediterranean vibe 👍

Stunning little place. Market day is heaving, takes over an hour to get a taxi or on a bus so plan well!! Not much outside of the old town that we found, but hot & had kids with us so didn't venture too far - couple of lovely local clothes shops about 5 mins walk away.

If you're interested in surrealism, a visit to the Dalí Museum in Figueres is a must. I've been there before, ages ago. But I enjoyed it this time even more. I guess there is no doubt about the greatness of Dalí's extraordinary and astonishing work. We ordered the tickets online before. It's recommended. We parked right at the Museum in a parking garage (payed 3,30 € per hour). My son is disabled so he didn't had to pay the entry fee. We booked it in advance and it was no problem with a german severely disabled certificate at the entrance of the museum. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Will visit again next time I will be in Catalonia.

Fantastic place! Got a fast pass skip the line ticket and got in right away, definitely recommend doing this, as even in off season it was suuuuper busy. The art and architecture is amazing. Lots of different rooms and areas to view and take in all the imagery. There are a few spaces to sit down, but could do with some more chairs around though, especially at it takes a few hours to really take everything in and visit all the rooms. In terms of accessibility, best to check with the venue itself to ensure it’s suitable for you. Some ramps are very steep and stairs are quite spiralling. Not sure how many tour groups are allowed in at each time slot but there were so many at the time I went and they rush and push through quickly through the narrow hallways, so be aware of this as well. Really fun day, nice walk through town to get there and lots of places to grab a drink, snack or coffee before or after your visit.

Paintings, drawings and ’flat’ art very good, sculptures and other works less interesting to me. Entry tickets are timed so buy when you arrive then join the line. There is no signage to give a structured tour of the museum, so you have to wander around and make sure you don’t miss anything. Too crowded, people always in front of you, pushing phones in front of you and snapping away, or standing posing. In those situations it’s hard to take in and appreciate what you’re seeing.

This museum takes you on a trip- a wonderful exploration into Dalís world and life. It's a very special place, created with so much heart and soul. Something everybody should experience. We've been there on a sunday in october, without reservations and got tickets without waiting. The rooms and floors inside are a bit smaller, so it was a little busy, but nevertheless, it was enough space to enjoy everything. There's a lot to discover, and watching every painting and installation closely you could easily spend the whole day there. But you can also see everything in about 1 or 2 hours. An unforgettable experience. Gaudeix :)

A place you must visit and see. Art enriches your consciousness and gives you the opportunity to be a better person. I recommend it. An extraordinary place where art and everyday life are clearly visible. It's wonderful that Spaniards care so much about their heritage.

The Dali Museum was the highlight of our time in eastern Spain! Since we visited in November, the museum was not packed with visitors. To see Dali’s work up close was magical! This is a “must see” when visiting Spain!

In March the water looks so clean! The view is absolutely beautiful. The bad thing is that there is a lot of trash in beach it would be nice to clean it up.

Nice beach looks like sand but is made up of small little rocks. Be careful with children. The sea becomes deep after a few meters, and waves are strong. Don't hire the rip-off sunloungers there €8 each plus €8 for umbrella! Bring a towel/blanket instead. Beach gets very busy on sunny days. There are some free public toilets, but be ready to see some dirty supprises in them like I did! 🤮

Great Beach This is beach is quite narrow compared to other beaches in Spain but it is very long. This is also packed in summer almost unbearable, but in winter (and the off season) is amazing and really nice. It has all the amenities you could expect and is super close to lots of bars and restaurants.

Beautiful beach! Lots of cute fishies to see under the water. The water is nice and very clear, but in some areas it’s a bit murky and polluted. Every morning (very early) a huge machine goes around the beach to clean everything. Every now and then I spotted a jellyfish, but no dangerous ones. Beware! There are currently no showers at the beach, if you want to clean yourself, you can bring a cup and some water from the tab near the toilets. The beach is made out of small rocks, which is fine, but it can get quite hot in the sun. (Ps. Using wedge heels or shoes with thick soles is great to avoid the rocks) near the beach there are small kiosk shaped buildings who sell great slush or ice cream. The beach is quite busy, near the castle it’s a bit more calm. On the completely other side there is a spot with very low water (last video), which is great for kids!

A family trip with children. Beautiful beach. Accommodation and food can be expensive in high season. But clean water and clean beach. Felt very safe there. Water world is 15 minutes away if anyone fancies. Will travel there again.

This beach is very Nice and peaceful for family or friends . There are sun loungers and parasols available for rent on-site for 8€ each. The water is clear, and there is parking available, but it fills up quickly, so it's better to arrive early to find a spot. I highly recommend it

Don’t walk run to this iconic Cathedral. The steps are wonderful to sit and people watch and soak in the Game of Thrones feeling. Inside is grand. The cloisters in the garden are lovely to sit and cool off. I bought the 3 in 1 ticket so no need to line up… go to the tourism office in Girona first. They are so helpful. Quite wonderful.

Lovely cathedral and nice to see where they filmed some of the game of thrones. The walk on the wall surrounding it is quite something and worth doing. If you more in depth information it's probably worth going on a small guided tour.

The Museu d’Art Sacre attached to the cathedral showcases beautiful liturgical garments and intricate paintings. I was also captivated by the fantastic rose window at the entrance and the Baroque pulpit, which is a true masterpiece of craftsmanship. Legend adds an extra layer of magic to the cathedral. They say that on quiet nights, the ghostly figure of a white-clad woman—known as the “White Lady of Girona”—wanders the cloisters, mourning a lost love. Locals claim she was a noblewoman whose secret romance ended tragically, and her spirit now lingers, protecting the cathedral and its treasures. This add a pinch of mystery to the history of this magnificent church. Climbing the tower gave me a breathtaking view of Girona’s old town, the Onyar River, and the surrounding hills—it really makes you appreciate how this cathedral has stood as a guardian over the city for centuries.For anyone visiting Girona, the cathedral is not just a sight to see—it’s a journey through time, mystery, and culture. Entrance cost €7.50 and its well worth it.

This is a must see in Girona, from its Gothic architecture to its history and modern-day GOT references. There is something for everyone! While a bit crowded, it never felt overwhelming and we were able to enjoy the climb up the stairs and the views.

A must visit if in Girona especially if you are a game of thrones fan. Jaime rode his horse partially up the stairs which is very impressive. Word is it took 2 weeks to train the horse. Inside is a small museum and amazing architecture for your entry fee. Views from top of stairs are really cool.

I had a fairly negative experience when visiting this cathedral which was a shame. I was approached by some men on the street and shouted at, which took away from the natural beauty and atmosphere of the cathedral, i was warned by locals not to be in the area by myself and they walked me back to the centre of Girona. I think if you are in a group or with a friend it is definitely worth a visit, I was just unlucky, and maybe be a bit more alert if you are a solo female traveller too!

Visiting the Sagrada Família was honestly one of the highlights of my trip. You see photos everywhere, but nothing compares to standing in front of it and realizing how enormous and detailed it really is. Designed by Antoni Gaudí, construction started in 1882 and it’s still not finished but it's coming to an end. There’s something amazing about seeing a building that’s been growing for more than a century and continues to evolve with each generation continuing Gaudi's vision. Every part of it tells a story: the Nativity Façade is full of life and nature, while the Passion Façade is dramatic and emotional. Inside, the light through the stained-glass windows looks magical — it changes color throughout the day and fills the space with warmth, peace and wonderful colours. Even with all the crowds, the atmosphere is calm and awe-inspiring. It really feels like a place where art, faith, and nature come together. It's one of the most beautiful landmarks on the world. Book tickets online in advance and go early in the morning if you want to avoid long lines. And if you can, climb one of the towers — the view over Barcelona is unforgettable.

The Basilica de la Sagrada Família in Barcelona is one of the most extraordinary architectural masterpieces in the world. Designed by Antoni Gaudí, it perfectly combines faith, art, and innovation. The intricate details of the façade, inspired by nature and biblical stories, are breathtaking, while the interior feels almost otherworldly, filled with colorful light streaming through the stained-glass windows. The atmosphere inside is both peaceful and awe-inspiring. Although the basilica is still under construction, this adds a unique charm, witnessing a living piece of history being completed. Visiting the Sagrada Família is an unforgettable experience and an absolute must-see in Barcelona.

The Sagrada Familia is incredible. We did a guided tour which was great for a couple reasons. One, we got to walk pass the line with our guide which saved us time. Also, our guide was able to give us so many details about the structure we wouldn't have noticed otherwise. We went during the Golden Hour, which is when the sun is setting and the light shines through the stain glass, creating a Golden light. The details in the structure from the outside to the inside is spectacular. Highly recommend getting tickets way in advance so you don't miss out on the Sagrada Familia.

We had a guided tour. We don't normally do this but in this case it was necessary. The guide was informative amusing and personable. As for the Sagrada Familia itself, quite simply WOW! It was everything we had been told and so much more. The explanations of Gaudi's reasoning for the various aspects of the design brought the whole building into focus. It is truly an experience. The company we used was The Tour Guy. If all their guides are as good as ours you cannot go wrong. It may seem costly but IMHO it's worth it.

When in Barcelona, you have to visit the masterpiece of Gaudí. Book your tickets in advance and also get a guided tour. It will be a tour of around two hrs and your guide will explain about each and everything. This place is not just a church it’s a masterpiece of human kind. This place is an experience that you must do. I will recommend to visit either early in morning at the time of sunrise or in evening around 4pm at sunset. You will experience the place at its best and you will able to see the importance of time and light in the church. It’s the best architecture i have ever seen. Must book your tickets at-least 20 days in advance and also choose the tower access for the best views in city.

The Basilica of the Sagrada Família is truly one of the most awe-inspiring sites in the world and ​s​hould be on your must-see ​ list in Barcelona. No photos can capture the feeling of standing inside and seeing the light pour through the stained-glass windows—it’s breathtaking. You can buy tickets to view Barcelona from the top or visit the basement for more history and the gift shop. Unlike any church or basilica you will see.

Magnificent structure! I have visited Barcelona three times, and during my second visit, I had the chance to explore the interior as well. Both the inside and outside are truly unique. It’s an amazing experience to examine the figures on the exterior one by one. The ticket includes an audio guide, and by downloading the Sagrada Familia app to your phone, you can access a step-by-step audio guide that explains both the exterior and interior of the building. By the way, I recommend purchasing your ticket a week or two before your trip.

Well-made audio guide and efficient organization at the entrance. The house is wonderful, allowing you to fully discover Gaudí’s art. The ticket is a bit expensive (€36 for the Silver route). By choosing the Silver ticket, you also get access to the terrace with its colorful chimneys. Overall, a positive visiting experience.

I went there twice already, once by day and the other time by night and the magic just never ends. Gaudi must have had a lot of fun designing this mysterious world into a house and it amazes me how he managed to make it possible. By night, the windows and sea life details create this enchanting atmosphere throughout the visit. I cannot recommend this architectural gem enough!!

Casa Batlló absolutely blew me away — it feels like stepping into a living, breathing piece of art. Gaudí’s imagination is on full display, from the flowing, nature-inspired interiors to the colorful mosaic façade that changes with the light. The rooftop, shaped like a dragon’s spine, is just unforgettable. It’s one of those places where every detail surprises you — truly magical.

This house cannot be properly understood without going in. During the night I find it even more magical as you can really see how light plays a most important part in it's architecture. I was awed and actually didn't even want to go at first, but all the details took my breath away. The style is different inside and outside, so even if you're not a fan of Gaudi, give yourself a chance to go in. It is 100% worth it. And there's 100% accessibility! Elevators on request but to all floors.

Visiting Casa Batlló was one of the highlights of my trip to Barcelona. Here you can see Gaudí’s creativity up close- the flowing shapes, colorful mosaics, his vision and talent in every detail. The house was redesigned by Antoni Gaudí in the early 1900s for the Batlló family and is a perfect example of Catalan modernism. Every detail — from the wavy staircases to the vibrant tiles — is inspired by nature. The rooftop, shaped like a dragon’s back, offers great views over Passeig de Gràcia. I booked tickets online (around €30–€35) and still waited about 20–30 minutes to get in, so I’d definitely recommend buying skip-the-line tickets or going early in the morning. Inside, the audio guide is fantastic and really helps you understand Gaudí’s vision and his use of light and ventilation in every room. It’s busy, but completely worth it. I am not big fan of this type of art or architecture however it was an unforgettable experience.

The buildings are great, but you can see them from the street, from the main entrance, so it's not worth buying a ticket. It's true that the park has other beautiful places than the well known Gaudi's buildings, but we wanted to visit it for this only reason and we left disappointed

If Gaudi knew his masterpieces would be turned into a tourist trap THIRSTING for money, he would be disgusted. I bought the tickets. Had an accident, couldn't attend exactly at the time that I had scheduled the tickets. They couldn't do anything. Not even get me a discount. Come on, do better. Ok, bought new tickets. The park is interesting, Gaudi never misses. Is it worth it paying 18 euros? Of course not. Stand outside the gates and you will see 95% of everything worth seeing. The workers are unprepared. There are so many nice things to see in Barcelona, if you don't have a lot of time, don't bother coming here.

Nice place to go for a walk, because in the city there is not much of a green areas around. But be aware that there is a lot of stairs in the park. So if you are coming with a stroller, that could be a challenge for you. Also be ready for a lot of people. It was difficult to find a quiet spot around the park. You can see nice architecture and if you are lucky you can find a spot on the sun and just relax for a bit.

Make sure to buy your tickets online beforehand or you likely won’t get in. Entrance fee is a little steep for what it is but nevertheless, still a great Gaudi experience. The place gets overly crowded so that definitely takes away from the overall experience.

We found the place amazingly innovating and also harmonically beautiful. Gaudi created a wonderous living space, full of hidden spots, making the journey delightful. I recommend booking a tour guide, as this adds to the whole experiance!

Was a very interesting place to walk around to see Gaudí genius at work. However, it can’t match up with his other masterpiece, Sagrada Família. Nothing much does. Not even close ! In my opinion but worth a walk through but beware it’s 18 Eyries each overall around and some of the inside park attractions are extra. I added some pics of the more popular spots in this park. Park Güell is a breathtaking place to visit! It’s definitely a must-see location during your visit to Barcelona!!! The unique architecture, colorful mosaics, and beautiful natural surroundings makes the whole experience unforgettable. The views of Barcelona from the park are stunning,l! Honestly, every corner of the park feels magical. The park perfectly captures Gaudí’s creativity and charm. I visited the park with a walking tour, which was amazing and worth every penny!

Our accommodation was only a 15-minute walk from Camp Nou, so even though it wasn’t part of our original plan, we decided to visit. Unfortunately, our travel dates didn’t match any match days, but it was still worth walking around the stadium, and especially visiting the official Barça merchandise store. Some people say there’s no need to come all the way here because the Barça stores in central Barcelona are cheaper and easier to access. But I disagree. This place is HUGE. A three-story building with practically everything you could imagine. You can find classic replica kits like the 94–95 away jersey, as well as Nike Dri-FIT official sponsor versions. There’s a wide variety of caps, bags, and other accessories too. The staff were all very friendly. You can even see Messi’s autographed jersey and captain’s armband. If you want, you can buy the replicas, just for €2,999.99 and €1,999.99 respectively. There’s also a café and a nice rest area, so if you’re visiting Barcelona and a football fan, I highly recommend stopping by this legendary place. + You can find drinks with Barça packaging for more generous price at supermarkets in the city center.

When I went it was under construction so I didn't get the full experience. If you would like to go just make sure if these works are done or not yet. Actually the stadium is not that astonishing but if you are a Barcelona fan then obviously you'll get in love with 😅

Very nice experience. The interactive museum is well made, got to see many iconic items on display. Thought not very big still a nice tour especially if you like the FC Barcelona team. I highly recommend you book your tickets before arriving. Also, better to book an early time visit as the line and waiting time tend to get longer.

It was a good experience visiting the stadium and the museum, however since the stadium is under construction at the moment it wasn't possible to feel the right energy. Once everything is completed i believe that i will give it 5 stars!

I’ve seen some complaints, but honestly -the stadium’s under renovation, not a secret! What did you expect, a VIP tour of cranes and concrete? The real magic is the feeling of Barça itself , the history, trophies, jerseys, and spirit. The interactive legends show gave me chills, and Messi’s iconic celebration against Madrid next to his golden shoes nearly broke my heart . Paid under €100 for two tickets Worth every cent. Can’t wait for the reopening! Visca el Barça!

Nou Camp, is a stadium in Barcelona and the home of La Liga club FC Barcelona since its opening in 1957. It is currently undergoing renovation, and with a planned increased seating capacity of 105,000[10] it will be the largest stadium in terms of seating capacity in Spain and Europe, and the third largest association football stadium in the world.

Was under construction, but still amazing, the trophy museum is a must too. Couldn’t go inside the stadium but there’s a construction viewpoint where you can see it from the outside but closer up. If visiting the stadium itself, get tickets of course, but for the trophy museum, you can purchase when you reach.

Beatiful views, nice walking trails, The basilica and Black Madonna are a must when you visit here, you can take the funicular up the mountain from the visitor center. The outside parking is a bit of a walk and costs 7 euros. You can also park under the basilica for 10 euros for the first 3 hours or for 14 euroa for over 3 hours and up to 24 hours. Convenient for those who have trouble walking or finding parking outside.

Beautiful place. Nestled 1500m above Cataluña in the mountains. Makes you wonder, given its location, who could manage to complete such magnificent structures! I was a little late in the day so only ventured half way up to where the Basílica and the shrine is located. You can feel the history/essence in the air as you sit quietly taking in your surroundings. Also, here is where the Virgin Of Montserrat is located. After passing the patron saint of Cataluña, you can choose to veer off and enter a stained glass, oval shaped prayer room. DON'T skip out....well worth taking a seat and just reflecting for a couple of minutes. Family friendly. Lots of outdoor space. The views, well you just have to see for yourself!

Magnifcent monument. Must see. I recomend train from Barça and cable car. You can buy combined ticket. Easy. Tickets for Basilica and other are available on spot without waiting. At 13.00 hrs every working day there is a short concert from Boys choir. Must se and listen. It's beautifull. Like Walking on clouds. After you must touch the Earth in Black Madona right hand. At last I recenzent visita a wiewpoint at St. Mathew's cross. On spot can be chilly. This is the place that I'll deffinetly visit again.

One of the most beautiful places I have visited in Barcelona Spain! Highly recommend everyone to come! We took the train cable car up to the mountain! Not many tourists were there! The views are absolutely breathtaking The cathedral was sooo beautiful and peaceful! ☺️

We went here on a tour and I was so happy we did. I loved it that the vendors as you approach the monastery are descendants of those who sold the same cheeses and products decades if not eons ago. The Black Madonna was an inspiring experience and we really enjoyed the art museum as well. I have never seen it even referenced but it was amazing.

This is a must-do day trip! We booked a small group tour via Viator. Our guide, a local, took us by train to Montserrat station, where we then took a cable car to the summit of the mountain. She gave us a great tour. We saw and were able to touch the black Madonna. We hiked to the St. Michael cross and were blown away by the views!

Had a great experience visiting Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey! The view was absolutely breathtaking, and the place had such a peaceful and spiritual vibe. It’s one of those spots where you really feel connected to nature and history at the same time. Definitely worth the trip if you’re visiting Barcelona! ⛰️🙏

Fantastic Day Out at the Water Park We had a fab day out—our kids absolutely loved it! We chose to go on a slightly cloudy day, which worked out perfectly for our youngest (age 5), as it made the heat more bearable. As expected during peak season, the queues were long—around 60 minutes for the popular attractions—but that’s to be expected in August. The park itself was very clean and well-maintained, with plenty of facilities including toilets, lockers, and lots of food and drink options. For lunch, we spent €85 for our family of five. That included 3 junior meals (pizza, chips, pudding, and a drink) and 2 adult meals (fish & chips, and chicken & chips). Food was decent, and service was efficient. Overall, a great family day out. The kids had a blast and will definitely sleep well tonight.

Amazing amusement park! Would definitely go back sometime. The best advice is to buy express pass, as the waiting time for each attraction is between 40-60 minutes. We have visited the park on 16th October and it was so so crowded

PortAventura is full of variety and well worth the visit — but a little planning makes the day smoother with a tip. Bring a refillable bottle, as there are fountains around the park to top up. You’ll need at least 5–6 hours to cover the rides, especially with waiting times. The Express Pass really depends on when you go — we visited on a Tuesday at the end of September and rarely waited more than 30 minutes, though some rides did creep up to 50+ minutes at peak times. A good tip is to go for rides during or just after typical lunch hours, when queues are often much shorter.

Love this theme park . One of the best actual themed parks I've been too . The rides are all amazing. Although have to say was a bit disappointed with uncharted...it could have been so much better. The AR mine train was amazing with the serpents flying over your head. Not been here for 10 years and didn't see many changes or new rides since last time. But still great and my 5 time here

Fantastic Port Aventura World This park has incredible rides, we loved it with my son. Our favourite was Furious Baco ! It was the 1st of January this year, so was not too crowded and a FANTASTIC way for us to begin the year. We will back we loved this park!

Great place with many joyful experiences. There are thrills for all desires. Definitely advise to visit if you like rollercoasters and other exciting experiences. Best to go there in off-season when kids are back to school to avoid long queues. If attending during holiday breaks definitely think about express pass to enjoy there rides and not standing in wait.

Parking was 12 euros. Toilets aren't too far away from each other. Food is very expensive, 12 eur for a hotdog. Park is really big, it takes 20 minutes of walking to reach the opposite side of the park, loads of different themes which is very exciting to look at! Ferrari land has HUGE lines, highly recommend getting pass ticket for the main ride since we waited for almost 5 hours... Overall, the park is really nice and there's much to see x)

Place to be absolutely avoided Very dirty in common areas, toilets areas as well as attractions, with serious risks of getting skin irritation as happened to me ... I unfortunately visited this park this July and it was a carnage. Uncontrolled number of people made the situatuin very caothic. Queues of a minimum of over one hour for each attraction with several blockages and slowdowns due also to the poor preparation of the young and inexperienced staff. Dirty everywhere and unpleasent discussions with other visitors standing to grab your chair or sunbed as soon you get up or, simply because insufficient in numbers compared with the uncontrolled number of people admitted. All of this at the "cheapest " price of 47 Euro ,if you cannot book online in advance for chhosing a fix date, plus 15 Euros for parking and 8 Euros for a small locker.....More than adventure an unpleasent disadventure .....

If you are staying few days around, then you must visit it along with the 2 other parks (portaventura world and ferrari land). However, if you are visiting just for one day, I would suggest just going to Portaventura world instead. We stayed at one of the portavenrura hotels nearby for 3 days to be able to discover all 3 parks (portaventura world, portaventura aquatic park and ferrari land). We spent one day in this caribe aquatic park.

I’m visiting this park every year in the last 10 years. The kids love the place . I’ve decided to give the place minimum score because it doesn’t care about the guest . 2025 is almost 2015 , very little in places shadows . The sun is killing in Spain . And the place doesn’t care about his guests health . The food . I understand it should be expensive as they do the maximum to take any penny they can . Fat food, almost nothing healthy . So above fun , take care of your guests . Put many umbrellas so people can hide from the sun, and sell healthy food.

We were absolutely delighted with our visit to the water park! Since we only had one day, we decided to purchase VIP tickets — and it turned out to be the best choice. They were worth every penny: the VIP lines were minimal, while the regular ticket lines stretched far beyond the designated areas. Thanks to this, we were able to enjoy more attractions without wasting time in queues and fully immerse ourselves in the experience. The atmosphere was fantastic, everything was clean, and the staff was polite and well-organized. I highly recommend it to everyone, especially if your time is limited or if you want to spend the day in maximum comfort.

The worst aqua park I ever been, and I've been in all over the World, from Turkey, UAE to Australia... Not many slides and pools, but the worst of all is that it is too much crowded, there is 3 times more people than capacity! For every slide waiting is more than an hour, some even 2... If you want to eat, more than 1 hour waiting and count minimum 100€ for 4 persons with 1 drink. My advice, if you want to go anyway, buy extra pass and than there is 0 mins waiting.. If you enter at 11am, don't count you will get any sunbeds, it's completely full! Locker rooms also waiting time around 30 minutes and it is 8€ for small and 11€ for bigger bags! Better go once again to PortAventura World and Ferrari World.

Came to the park just with my two kids 12 and 10 in on a Thursday in the May school holiday. Being a single parent, I was quite concerned about the logistics of keeping valuables safe while also enjoying the park with the kids. However, the lockers are quite straightforward - once paid, you get a printout with a locker allocation and a six digit pin. I managed to remember this which meant I could put everything in the locker. I would say these are good for one medium sized rucksack and a few other extras. We got to the park from the Barcelona-Salou train, that gets in a 10 and had bought tickets in advance at the train station - would recommend this or alternatively on line as there are queues for on-site ticket purchasing. The park opened at 11, and there was only a short queue once we got through the bag check zone (that is for all three parks). The water park is great and, at this time of year, it was not very busy - we easily got a lounger under the shaded area and the weather was perfect for us. The slides are great and the queues were minimal throughout the day. The green and blue Barracudas are great (green one is better) and so is El Torrente, which is a big dinghy that can hold up to four each time. Many say the lifeguards blow whistles too much but as long as you know what to do it is fine. As my sunglasses are prescription, it was slightly annoying not being able to wear them on the lazy river or Bahama Beach but I coped. Didn't try the food but had a couple of beers and ice creams. Took a large bottle of water in. In all, would say this is a great time to visit this park. I suspect that in the summer this would not get 5 stars as I expect queues would be much larger and weather too hot!

We had fun at this water park, we got there at opening time on a Monday and it was already very busy and we had to queue for lockers (expensive!). If we were to go again we maybe wouldn't bother with a locker and would leave our things on a sunbed instead as most people seemed to be doing. We had to queue for some slides but we didn't think it was too bad. We spent all day there and went on all of the slides we wanted to and some twice. I do think there must be a more efficient system for the rings though, having to queue to get one then queue again for the slide wasn't ideal. The food was okay, they had veggie hotdogs which were good. You get a reusable cup if you buy a drink. There's no photographers so you won't get a souvenir photo.

Views for days. You can enjoy both the castle and the garden for a moderate price of 5 euro / adult. Lots to visit and explore. Perfect gateway for a cloudy day so you can enjoy the views without breaking a sweat. l

Peniscola Spain is the beautiful setting for this Castle jewel. It costs 5 euro to tour the Castle and Garden, each. Shoes or sandals with good traction will serve you well as the walk up to the Castle is on very smooth and worn stone steps, walk ways and streets, and dont forget you still have the walk down. This castle is amazing to see in person and has a long and interesting past. Must Visit!

Landmark & Historical Castle This is the Spanish Mont Saint Michel, it is really nice to see and I believe unique in Spain. This Castle sits on the see and looks great from afar. In the town itself you can see a few narrow streets a few restaurants. We enjoyed wandering around here, and can only highly recommend visiting!

Great old Castillo. Knights Template etc. interesting old town with good photo opportunities. €3.50 entrance to the castle for young and concessions such as over 60, a bit upset they didn't query our age.,€5 for normal entry. Enjoyable couple of hours. Large and steep steps in places. Well worth the visit.

Beautiful castle as seen in The Game of Thrones (GOT) Season 6. Well maintained with plenty of beautiful views of the city and beaches. Patking downtown is available. Nice walk up to the castle.

A stunning medieval castle with incredible views over the sea and the old town. Full of history, charm, and beautiful architecture – a must-see when visiting Peñíscola.

Amazing views to the sea, the pennisula, and the local beaches! The view is the best part of the experience, although, the castle does have a rich history, esp.the story of Pope Luna, and the castle garden was used in the shooting of A Game of Thrones. Sun block is recommended. ☀️🇪🇸🌅

A most exquisite building dedicated to Saint Mary who appeared on a pillar which is now enclosed but you can kneel before it and touch part of it. The soaring ceiling and beautiful sculptures are breathtaking. Each of the chapels has its own glorious artworks. The chapel at the back of the church is extraordinary with a separate open roof structure. A true gem.

The Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar in Zaragoza is a breathtaking masterpiece of Baroque architecture and a deeply spiritual landmark. With its grand domes, stunning frescoes by Goya, and peaceful riverside setting, it’s a must-visit for both art and history lovers. Don’t miss the panoramic views from the tower and the nearby Puente de Piedra for perfect photos.

Simply mammoth size of a Cathedral....hard to photograph it was so large but got some shots on a stormy night from the bridge. Beautiful tiling on roof. Beautifully carved altar and wonderfully cool inside. Sadly a couple of the towers were being renovated but understandable.

Such a beautiful Basilica. Seeing the Pilar where our Lady billocated was so special. We timed it well for Holy Mass. you do need an hour to explore afterwards. Plenty of priests were there to hear confessions. Architecture was spectacular, the paintings, sculptures- a pure joy to be there. Plenty of Capella for praying along. Rosary after 12 mass.

The church was absolutely stunning, with its magnificent architecture leaving me speechless. The intricate stonework and towering spires created an awe-inspiring silhouette against the sky. As I walked through the grand entrance, I was captivated by the rich history that enveloped the space; it felt as though time itself had been preserved within these walls. The ornate stained glass windows cast vibrant colors across the interior, illuminating the beautifully carved wooden pews. I found myself particularly mesmerized by the elaborate details on the facade, where every chiselled figure and decorative element seemed to tell a story of its own. It was an experience that left a lasting impression on my heart.

A very beautiful basilica, and definitely worth visiting if you're in the area or happen to be passing through. However, I wouldn't make a special trip to Zaragoza just for this and a few other sites.

It was, without a doubt, an exceptionally impressive church. Unlike many others that I have visited in various cities, this one stood out with its distinctive architectural features and unique atmosphere, setting it apart from the more familiar structures I had previously encountered.

It is a nice amusement park. There are several actions options and the waiting time in the queue varies due to the popularity and the time of the day. The number of the shopping store and the merchandise options are adequate. I recommend to visit old stores first and decide what you want to take because each store has their own particular theme and focus, such as looney tunes, gotham city, etc.

Such a fun park!! Great for a day of playing around, the lines aren’t that big and there’s some rides that are so crazy immersive that you leave fully wondering what was happening! We went in the end of September and already got a lot of cool Halloween experiences and decor! My main complaints: - there’s is basically no vegetarian food options inside of the park (im not even gonna mention vegan) Being that you cannot enter with food this is extremely unfortunate. Had to eat a pizza margarita after 30 minutes of searching for food; - the Halloween experiences were extra charge and it wasn’t that cheap! You pay 44€ for the general admission and then you have to pay an extra 7€ per ride (single). I felt like it wasn’t fair - there’s more stores and restaurants than rides. The rides are some of the best I’ve ever been on and so much fun, but you have to walk a lot to get to them as you always have to go through stores and restaurants - more than once was a ride in maintenance while we were there. Eventually we managed to get on all of them but it was annoying to keep having to go back in line

Visited during the Halloween season and overall had a great time. The park is clean, well themed, and offers a solid mix of rides for both thrill seekers and families. The Gold Fast Pass is absolutely worth buying as it saves hours of waiting and makes the experience far smoother. Food quality was better than expected for a theme park, and the PhotoPass system is a nice way to keep all ride photos digitally. On the downside, most staff speak very limited English and signage can be confusing. The Gold Pass does not work for the horror mazes and we waited about an hour and a half to enter the IT Experience, which lasted around five minutes. Some vending machines also stopped working later in the evening, which was frustrating after a long day of walking. Still, the Halloween theming and atmosphere were great, and with the Gold Pass, the park is worth visiting.

Enjoyed the day, arrived at 1130am checked in and on rides by 12.07pm. Bit more information pre q on how to exchange all inclusive tickets would be helpful. All inclusive wasn't worth it in my opinion, freestyle drinks be a better option. Fast pass was great, and well organised. Recommended as a theme park to visit

Parque Warner Madrid exceeded my expectations and delivered a full day of fun, excitement, and surprisingly great theming. From the moment you walk through the gates, the atmosphere pulls you into the world of DC Comics, Looney Tunes, and classic Hollywood — it’s immersive, colorful, and well-designed. The rides were fantastic! Superman: La Atracción de Acero is a must for any roller coaster lover — smooth, intense, and thrilling. Batman: Arkham Asylum was another highlight with the VR option, and the Stunt Fall ride definitely isn’t for the faint of heart! But it’s not just thrill rides — there are also plenty of attractions for families and younger visitors, especially in the Cartoon Village, which is adorable and really well done. The park is also clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I was impressed by the variety and quality of the shows, especially the Loca Academia de Policía stunt show — it had us cheering the whole time. Food inside the park is what you’d expect from a theme park — a bit pricey — but there were decent options, and everything we tried was fresh. I also appreciated the shaded areas and mist zones during the hot parts of the day. Overall, Parque Warner is one of the best theme parks I’ve visited in Europe. Whether you’re traveling with kids, friends, or as a couple, there’s something for everyone. Highly recommend getting the fast pass if you're going on a busy weekend — it makes a huge difference. 5 stars without a doubt!

The park is well organised and a lot of possible activities can be done there. The day we visit was a rainy day and the park kept apoi only one gate, letting the people in the rain waiting to enter for more than 15 minutes.

We recently visited the park and had a great experience. There was something for everyone in the family, nice rides and shows. We will visit again for sure :-)

A fabulous Royal Palace with gardens that deserves your visit. The famous gardens here were the inspiration for the musical piece "Concierto de Aranjuez". This was one of the favorite musical pieces of my father which inspired me to visit. When we attend they were doing a lot of construction and renovation which detracted from the experience. It was still well worth visiting. We said to ourselves we would love to come back when they're done with the renovation work. We were not able to visit the fabulous garden with the fountain because of this renovation work. The other gardens were open with several working fountains and some fountains that were not flowing.

One of the must-see places in Aranjuez. This place is so beautiful and so detailed. I forgot to take photos of some spots because they were so beautiful 🤦🏻‍♀️ As the the UNESCO World Heritage site and a former spring residence of the Spanish royal family. Located in the town of Aranjuez, the estate includes the palace, extensive gardens, and other buildings like the Casa del Labrador.

At just 60 minutes from the Madrid center via Cercanias C3 train. Very well preserved and restored, it was the royal palace for the spanish throne until Elizabeth II after which the seat was moved to Madrid. From the outside it may seem unassuming architecture but the interior has the grandeur you can find in the Royal Palace in Madrid. The main stairs are a late addition which serves as a great intro with an interesting story. The 'Gabinete Árabe' smoking room, my favorite part of the visit because you don't expect a room like that in the seat of catholic kings and queens, is a breathtaking representation of arabic interior design, replicating part of the Alhambra of Granada. I strongly recommend taking the guided tour. It lasts about 75 minutes, our guide was very knowledgeable and eloquent. The tour gives you private access to some of the best crafted rooms with outstanding ornaments and intimate details of the consort spaces. Just one photo of the exterior to avoid spoilers 😁

The Royal Palace of Aranjuez is a stunning royal residence about 1 hr. from Madrid, historical architecture and its vast,beautiful gardens along the Tagus River. Inside, highlights include the Porcelain Room and Arab Room, filled with intricate decoration and history. Less crowded than Madrid’s main palace, peaceful and scenic experience — perfect for a day trip.

This is a great little getaway that is only an hour by train from Madrid. It is absolutely lovely to wander the gardens around the palace. Inside the palace are lovely rooms that the Royal family that used to stay and live in. The tickets were very inexpensive and this trip is great for half a day. We got some drinks afterwards at the restaurant nearby. If you’re looking for a half day trip from Madrid, this is it!

A Peaceful Oasis in the Heart of Madrid – El Parque del Retiro I visited El Parque del Retiro on October 13, 2025, and it was an amazing experience. The weather was perfect — sunny, warm, and surrounded by the beautiful autumn colors of the trees. This park is truly a peaceful oasis in the center of Madrid, full of history, nature, and charm. During my visit, I explored the fountains, the Estanque Grande (the large lake), the elegant Palacio de Cristal, and even the Jardín Escondido, a lovely hidden garden full of calm and beauty. You can easily spend hours walking around, renting a bike or scooter, or simply relaxing and enjoying the scenery. I brought a picnic with Iberian sandwiches, fresh fruits, and dessert — a perfect way to spend the afternoon. The entrance is free, and I recommend visiting in the late afternoon to enjoy the magical sunset views over the lake. The park’s location is excellent, close to the Puerta de Alcalá, making it easy to explore the nearby area as well. Whether you go with family, friends, or on your own, El Retiro is an unforgettable place to connect with nature and enjoy the beauty of Madrid.

A trip to Madrid is incomplete without a visit to the Retiro Park. It is so vast, peaceful and with surprises at every turn that you can spend hours just absorbing the different vibes of mother nature. We saw the beautiful birds, some rare foliage and a nice lake / water body where people could do rowing. There is a beautiful blend of nature with history as the palace and corridors of ancient sculptures adorn this park. Some cute cafes too and lots of enthusiastic visitors jogging or walking along, friends chatting on the benches and lovers too. Would highly recommend that you keep time for this place on your holiday to genuinely recharge your batteries.

A really beautiful park in the middle of the city easily accessible with the metro too. It's massive and there's a lot to explore, you can find lots of people but at the same time many spots in the park with more silence if you prefer that. Highly recommend going here.

Once part of a royal retreat in the 17th century, El Retiro Park is now Madrid’s green heart—perfect for walking, rowing on the lake, or relaxing under the shade of century-old trees. The Crystal Palace and Rose Garden are must-sees, especially at sunset. Free to enter and full of art, fountains, and street performers, it’s a serene escape from the city’s buzz and a place where locals and travelers blend beautifully with nature.

It’s a lovely and lively park. There were some excellent musicians playing throughout the park and lots of people but plenty of room to enjoy. We would have enjoyed a boat ride but didn’t have time. We were disappointed that the crystal palace is under renovation and covered.

Gorgeous park with a beautiful lake and fountain. You can rent a canoe to go around the lake, or you can just walk the beautiful grounds. They have a strip of food places that are very nice. It is a great place to relax and take in the beauty of nature.

Many people come here for jogging, cycling, and group workouts, while others simply enjoy a relaxing stroll. I also saw people rowing boats on the lake — it adds such a charming touch to the atmosphere. In the late afternoon, the light is beautiful and many visitors gather to take photos around the fountains and gardens. Definitely a must-visit spot if you want to experience how Madrid locals enjoy their day.

Art museum with lots of artwork, some sculptures. Lots of art are religious theme. No pictures are allowed to take inside the museum. There are guard in every section area to ensure no touching nor photos. Museum and art lovers can easily spend half to a day here. Worth a visit.

The Museo Nacional del Prado is one of those places that truly earns its reputation — a vast, magnificent collection that feels like walking through the pages of art history. From Velázquez and Goya to Titian and Rubens, every gallery reveals another masterpiece. That said, it can definitely feel overwhelming, with rooms branching into more rooms and a layout that’s easy to get lost in — but that’s part of its charm and grandeur. We visited on Spain’s National Day when entry was free, and while the queue took about 30 minutes, it moved steadily. Even on regular free-admission days, expect a wait, so plan accordingly. Once inside, the experience is nothing short of breathtaking — an essential stop for anyone visiting Madrid, even if it takes a little patience to get in. Truly a world class museum.

Excellent experience. The Spanish Renaissance era art perfectly compliments Italian Renaissance masterpieces. We spent 3 hours in the museum and it wasn’t long enough to see it all.

No photos at all allowed here. Unusual but show respect and refrain. Just enjoy the incredible collection without thinking about your social media cred! Budget 5-6 hours honestly. Not as big as Louvre thankfully, but still large. Titian, Rubens, Van Dyck and of course mucho Goya and Velasquez. Bucket list museum for renaissance and baroque art lovers! The photos I took were before I was made aware of the no photo policy.

Astonishing. Breathtaking. This is one of the world's top art museums. You must see. Buy tickets in advance and check on free admission dates and times. Best to plan for a whole day. I LOVE this market! It’s a bit touristy, but I love that you can find everything here. The seafood spot and the tapas place are definitely the most popular in my opinion. There’s so much to see and eat, I even got percebes here! Definitely a place worth coming back to.

What's the point t of all that lovely fresh food if you can barely squeeze through anywhere let alone eat your food comfortably? I tried twice in two days. Finally on day 2 I grabbed a fresh kiwi drink and got the hell out of there. Visited these places in other cities, great, here, ridiculously too small.

Nice modern high end Mercado to get tapas. You can find things in here that are non-traditional. Lots of fresh flavours but there are also some places where the food looks a bit tired. It’s not a large Mercado so counter space is at a premium. The counters on the inside are packed and you will get jostled. It may be better to get some of the space on the outer window area. One other downside is the prices are more expensive than other mercados or tapas bars. But you are paying for the all in one convenience.

Tons of food options, impossible to find a seat. Was cool to try some Spanish crackers with random fish things on them. They were good…. The crackers were whatever but I guess that’s not the point. I sat outside on the ground. Don’t get why this place is on everyone’s rec list, go to a less known mercado!

They say this is a tourist trap but honestly, I don’t care. It’s a great market with everything. The food is beautifully laid out and they taste good. My favorites are definitely rhe anchovy and sardine tapas from the same shop. 2.50 EUR for each, cheapest in the market AND most delicious!

Amazing choice of food. A little expansive so check prices before buying your food. Very busy so difficult to get seating but well worth the experience and will definitely go back. The steak was amazing and the Jamon was really good although the portion was really big.

Great place to visit, there are free entry during last two work hours, but the lines then after crazy long. One of the most impressive palaces I ever visited. Was also lucky to visit the palace at the day off solemn guard change, that mostly happens on the first Wednesday off the month, but this time it was the second (can be moved because of weather or other stuff) and had a great view from the palace square, seeing all the guards and horses, that lasted for an hour.

Stunning! Definitely book in advance. Even if you've been before - as we have 10 years ago - the added museum gallery is exceptional (it's jam-packed with incredible things - what a superb bonus that was!).

Photos are allowed, which makes the visit even more enjoyable since you can capture the incredible architecture and decor. The staff were polite and helpful, and I appreciated that service dogs are allowed inside with proper documentation. I would recommend booking a tour and skipping the line—it saves time and makes the experience much smoother. The surrounding gardens are also lovely for a quiet walk after the visit. Truly an unforgettable experience in Madrid!

Honestly, I'd say the palace is slightly above average. History enthusiasts will likely be disappointed . It's a nice place to spend the day with kids and family, and it's particularly great for school kids to learn about history in a hands-on way.

Royal Place is beautiful and offers a great learning experience, but it can be very crowded, so moving through is slow. The visit itself is fairly quick, but the stunning architecture and interesting exhibits make it worthwhile.
