(Translated by Google) Diarama Pond is a great place. What is especially nice is that the ducks living in the pond stay for the winter. And they can be fed all year round. You can also go boating. Yulka and I did this quite often. In the summer of 2018, Dan Barbos and Alenka Zayats also went for a ride. But with them was a drunken Doe, whom the distributors did not allow onto the boat. Then the Doe from the other bank, at the risk of falling into the water, got into the boat, holding ice cream in her hooves.
DMITRY K — Google review
(Translated by Google) Beautiful place. Near the circus, McDonald's, Hilton Hotel. You can go boating. But! The pond is dirty. There is a very narrow path around the pond. The coverage is disgusting in places. It is quite difficult to get around the pond with a stroller or a children's bicycle, because... There are no ramps. You have to carry it by hand over the steps.

A great place to ride a scooter, bike, or roller skate. Wonderful tour guide. The tour lasts more than an hour, exciting and educational. Overall, Palekh is a wonderful city. Clean, calm, green. Don’t be surprised if the people of Palestine greet you on the street ☺️ It’s very sweet and sincere. The most unexpected thing is that these friendly and well-mannered children and teenagers also greet the guests of their city. The city and the museum are definitely worth a visit! Invest in impressions and develop your horizons! All the best! (Translated by Google) The entire significance of Ples, in my opinion, is connected precisely with the name of Levitan. The museum is small. The interiors of the rooms on the mezzanine, which were occupied by Levitan and Kuvshinnikova, have been recreated. If there is a tour group in the museum, then viewing the exhibition is extremely difficult. There is no toilet in the museum, only the art gallery has a toilet. For those who arrived by boat, this is a victory, but for other visitors to Plyos it is a problem.

The park has many paths with various decorations, many locations for photo shoots, and you can simply sit comfortably on various swings and benches. The park has a ropes course of various difficulty levels, from children to adults, so it will be interesting for everyone. And of course you can have a little snack. I recommend it if you want to relax in nature and forget about the daily hustle and bustle for a while. The only thing that upset me was the organization after the end of the concert. There were clearly organized buses from the parking lot that took them to the Dobrograd gates, but back there was chaos. The girls told everyone to walk, the bus would not go to the lower parking lot. There were older women with chopsticks. Everyone was outraged. We had to walk (although the buses passed by were half empty). The situation is unclear... and it left a bad aftertaste. Minus for the concert organizers.

You just need to take into account that the standard rooms are on the 1st floor, and this turns out to be a basement floor, but this is not very critical, since the hotel is built, as it were, on a hill. The spa is simply magical, we visited at the end of October and it would have been so nice to enjoy a warm pool on a gloomy autumn day. Large selection of steam rooms (Russian, hammam, stone, salty, Finnish). Be sure to go to the Shower of Impressions, it will leave an indelible impression)))). You can walk to Dobrograd Park, but it’s a bit far for lazy people. You can order a transfer; it’s free for hotel guests. When you’re in the park, be sure to visit the Rope Town (there’s enough adrenaline for a year) and the Stork’s Nest restaurant. (Translated by Google) Excursionists of the #jointexcursions project went to the museum of A.I. Morozova is a branch of the Ivanovo Regional Art Museum. Director Irina Aleksandrovna divided the group into children and parents, and each half was offered its own scenario. The adults watched a documentary about Morozov, “I came into this world to...”, while the children were taken around the halls of the museum. Then the children sat down to draw, and the parents went on an excursion. Artist A.I. Morozov is an unusual person, he was a genius from a poor Ivanovo family. Having gone through all the thorns, he defended his style of writing, the right to paint landscapes the way he wanted, waited for the title of People's Artist and bequeathed his entire legacy to the Ivanovo Art Museum. His paintings, documents, photographs, dance costumes, musical instruments, and household items are collected here. The history of this house, which he himself chose for the museum, is also interesting. He never lived here. I don't want to reveal secrets. Go to the museum yourself and learn a lot of interesting things. Kostroma Gostiny Dvor is a remarkable destination that showcases the charm of provincial Neoclassical architecture in Russia. This well-preserved complex, built on the historic site of the ancient Kostroma kremlin after a devastating fire in 1773, features over ten buildings constructed across nearly fifty years. Visitors are enchanted by its timeless atmosphere, reminiscent of nearly two centuries ago.
Town founded in 1152, so many lovely buildings here and churches. I never expected this to be a church tour but as a Civil construction Engineer, these structures that have lasted so long leave me in awe.

The Ipatiev Monastery, also known as the Hypatian Monastery, is a significant historical site located on the bank of the Kostroma River in Russia. Founded around 1330, it features relics such as ancient icons, books, and vestments. The monastery played a crucial role in Russian history as it was where Mikhail Romanov was elected Tsar in 1613, marking the beginning of the Romanov dynasty's rule.
A must-visit. The Ipátiev Monastery in Kostroma, Russia, is historically significant as the site where Mikhail Romanov was elected Tsar in 1613, beginning the Romanov dynasty's rule. It later gained tragic notoriety during the Russian Revolution when Tsar Nicholas II and his family were held there before their execution in 1918, marking the end of imperial Russia. Today, the monastery's restored churches and serene atmosphere attract visitors interested in exploring Russia's imperial past and reflecting on the profound political shifts that shaped modern Russian history.

Nestled just outside the south wall of a historic monastery lies Kostromskaya Sloboda, one of Russia's pioneering open-air museums dedicated to wooden architecture. Established in 1960, this enchanting museum park was created to preserve traditional wooden houses and churches that were at risk due to the rising waters from the Volga River. Visitors can wander through a picturesque setting that resembles a quaint village, showcasing how people lived in past centuries with authentic tools and amenities on display.
Really interesting and educative place. It is museum on the open and looks like a village. You can see how people used to live with all the amenities and tools they used. Some of the houses are opened and staged so you can see inside as well. It is well maintained and clean. Staff is nice and helpful. They have a small gift shop and refreshments at the entrance. You will need one hour to go around and explore. Definitely recommend to visit and enjoy here.

Peaceful, green, lovely place that discovers the traditional lifestyle of the Russians in the 17-19 centuries. Strongly recommend to visit it in case if you stay in Kostroma.

Absolutely amazing! Houses of peasants of 19th century were brought there and partially reconstructed. A church of 17th century looks like nothing presented in the city itself. A pond and birches create an atmosphere of a remoted village. Besides, there is Ipatievsky cathedral nearby (a 5 min walk on foot). We took a taxi there, which costs 100 rub. Very convenient and saves plenty on time.

Here is one of Wooden Architecture Museum in Yaroslave Oblast, other one I used to visit located in Suzdal. So if you visited Suzdal before, these might disappointed you. The day I visited, must followed the officers to see inside each house. So you couldn't had a free walk to surround this museum until the officers shown you a whole wooden houses.

The Suzdal Kremlin is a historic site dating back to the 10th century, featuring a 13th-century cathedral with distinctive blue domes. This UNESCO World Heritage Site consists of the fortified town enclosed by a single wall, housing notable structures such as the Bishops Court, Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, bell tower, and Church of St. Nicholas from Glotovo village.
It's a beautiful countryside. Its the must see places of Suzdal. Take a walk to Kremlin we walked on a frozen lake on our way. We took 60 roubles ticket to roam around the area and took pictures.

Well preserved heritage site. Walking through the bridge on iced river was an experience. The meeting hall inside was an experience in itself. Was thrilled to see India in a old map kept there. This place should be even more beautiful in summer. The guide was very helpful and describing everything patiently.

As a bonus when we were there we saw a bridal party taking pictures ! We loved sitting outside in the chairs that are in the grassy area and just enjoying. If you climb the small berm, you will see the wooden bridge and be rewarded with a special view of Suzdal.

Outside Moscow if you would like to have a real Russian experience this city is highly recommended. Traffic is heavy on weekends it took almost 5 hours to get there from Moscow centre on Saturday morning. Lots of areas for walks and green space for children to play.

Suzdal must visit. We did it in one day trip from Moscow. It is enough. We took fast train 7:15 morning and back 20:15 to/from Vladimir. From Vladimir taking local bus 159 from Autostation to Suzdal. Every 30 min. This is most picturized Russian town not destroyed by Soviet architecture and old industry. Like Russia 200 or 800 years ago. A lot of history and a lot to see.

Incredible pleasant visit. If you've only time for one thing in Suzdal, this is the place. Pleasant grounds, amazing exhibits, although almost no explanations are in English. However, with even rudimentary understanding of Cyrillic, the non-Russian speakers can get the gist by visuals and reading dates. We visited on a late winter day with lovely snow and darkness. Exhibit rooms are very warm. We spent a perhaps two hours. Grounds are peaceful.

This monastery in the city of Suzdal is a gem of Russian history and culture. Every hour they have a bell ringing. And it's not just a few bells, it's a whole ensemble. You can also walk up the walls. A certain part is open for tourists. Inside they have an authentic monastery herb garden. And in the cafe near the entrance they'll offer you an herb tea from these same herbs.

On our one day tour of what is termed the Golden Ring out of Moscow which offers three villages each of historical interest. This on in Suzsal is the Museum of Wooden Architecture and Peasant Life which is an open-air museum that offers a fascinating glimpse into traditional Russian village life. It has about 20 Historical Buildings which are very well preserved from the 18th and 19th centuries, including houses, churches, windmills, and barns. These structures were relocated from various villages in the Vladimir Oblast to preserve their historical and cultural significance. The Peasant Life Exhibits showcases the daily life of Russian peasants, with exhibits featuring rustic clothing, dishware, furniture, and tools. interesting museum. You can see the way of life of the kings. The truth I will not say that I have not seen this before. In the village of my grandfather, everything was exactly like that. But many entertainments, performances of remarkable musical collectives, a fashion show of quilted Suzdal sewing, master classes on matryoshka painting, embroidery of napkins, pottery. Sale of handicrafts: gzhel, products from birch bark, quilts, clothing from flax and much more. On this day the film was filmed. Participated in one of the scenes. The weather was good, on the street 28-30 degrees. I recommend to stop here

Pokrovsky Monastery

Shrine
Museums
The Pokrovsky Monastery, a Russian Orthodox religious complex constructed in the 16th century, boasts stunning buildings adorned with golden domes. Nestled amidst serene surroundings, this place exudes an atmosphere of tranquility and inner harmony. The meticulously maintained territory features a charming garden and is bordered by a nearby river. Visitors have the opportunity to explore the monastery's ornate church while also indulging in the highly recommended daily menu crafted by the devoted sisters.
The Intercession (Pokrovsky) Monastery was founded in 1364, but from this initial period, practically nothing was preserved. All that has come down to our days, mainly refers to the first half of the 16th century and a later period, and is associated with dramatic events in the life of the Grand Duke's family – the Moscow prince Basil III. He decided on an unheard violation of church rules – a divorce with his first wife Solomoniya Saburova, who after twenty years of marriage never gave birth to children. She came from an old boyar family of Moscow. During the 1508-1518 Basil III richly equiped the Suzdal Intercession monastery, while seeking a divorce from the church and looking for a future new wife – Pole Elena Glinskaya. In 1625 Solomoniya Saburova was forcibly tonsured into a nun (under the name of Sofia) and exiled to the Intercession Monastery. Since then, the Intercession Monastery has become a place of exile for the disgraced tsarinas and women of noble boyar families. Among its nuns and elders – the daughter and niece of Ivan III, the wife of Prince Vladimir Staritsky – Eupraxia, the wife of Tsarevich Ivan – Evdokia, one of the wives of Ivan the Terrible – Anna Vasilchikova. The last crown princess of the monastery was Evdokia Lopukhina, the wife of Peter I, accused of plotting against the tsar. Here, many aristocratic spiritual prisoners ended their lives. In the monastery were found the burials of representatives of families of Nagies, Gorbaties, Shuiskies and others (more than 20 eminent nuns). In 1934, in the tomb of the Intercession Cathedral, under a small white stone slab (without an inscription), the director of the Suzdal Museum A.D. Varganov had uncovered a children's burial. In the wooden deck, "remnants of semi-decayed silk fabric without bone remains" were found. This burial began to be connected with the rumors that were going on in the 16th century, about the birth at the monastery, allegedly, of Solomoniya's son George, whom she gave to the upbringing to faithful people, having arranged a fictitious burial. In 1650 Solomoniya Saburova was recognized as a saint (Sofia of Suzdal), her tomb, "exuding miracles", attracted pilgrims and enriched the monastery treasury. The monastery received the richest deposits and new landed estates with thousands of serfs. It was visited repeatedly by royalty. The main temple of the monastery and at the same time a tomb for noble nuns was the Intercession (Pokrovsky) Cathedral. It is a majestic three-domed temple in the design of which the decorations of the white-stone Nativity Cathedral of the Suzdal Kremlin were used (arched-columnar belt, lush portals that are clearly visible through the open arcade of the gallery). The interior decoration of the temple was very ascetic: the floor was paved with black ceramic tiles, the walls were not painted. But the magnificent icons and artistic sewing made the interior exquisite. The tented bell tower is connected to the cathedral with the gallery. It is a rare monument of the ancient Russian architecture: its lower two-tiered part, dating back to 1515, was an octagonal pillar-shaped church "under the bells" (i.e. completed with a tier of belfry). The tent of the modern bell tower appeared at the end of the 17th century. The original architecture of the cathedral is repeated in the Holy Gates, built, like other buildings of the monastery, commissioned by Basil III around 1518. It is a four-sided tower with two asymmetrical arched spans over which the gallery and the elegant three-headed gate-church of Annunciation rise. The decorations of the facades of the building resemble carving on wood, giving to its appearance a sincere simplicity and elegance.

(Translated by Google) I have known this Monastery for a long time. Back in the early 70s of the last century, when there was no talk of returning it to the church, some regional administrative institutions were located here, including Restoration Workshops, where we visited during the work of our student detachment in Veliky Ustyug . A few years later I came here with my wife; The gates of the Monastery were wide open: enter whoever you want, walk wherever you want. Either on the walls or on the towers. And no one cared about you. The territory of the Monastery was then in dismal desolation and the churches, of course, were closed. We walked for a walk, and then returned to the city on foot, crossing the railway bridge over the river, then through the village, through the cemetery... it was a picturesque road! Some years later, at the end of the 90s, I brought my children here: the Monastery had already begun to slowly revive. Soviet institutions were removed from it. The eastern part of the territory was given to the church. Landscaping began, although, in my opinion, there was no pond then, but caring women had already appeared, caring for flowers and some kind of beds. Signs appeared prohibiting entry into the designated Monastery territory and into the Monastery itself. And security appeared at the Holy Gates - a “goalkeeper”, who was finally persuaded to let us through. Well, after another quarter of a century, I’m here again. The greenery grew wildly. A pond appeared. Tiled walking paths appeared. Monastery shops and some landscaping appeared (although in women’s monasteries all this looks more well-groomed and more elegant, but we must remember, of course, how wretched the territory was). Permanent renovations are ongoing in the Cathedral and the entrance there has been closed again (only the one under the stairs of the Cathedral is open: low, cramped and dark). The Forbidden Monastic Territories changed their borders somewhat, but did not disappear anywhere. The number of people has increased; however, the day was Saturday and with good weather. The monastery walls and towers have been slightly refreshed, but there is still some work to be done there too. And there were earthen ramparts left on the river side... ... and there were long and good memories of this place, in which if I ever find myself again, it will be in the next life... AMEN!

The Lace Museum is located near the main attractions of Vologda, such as the Kremlin Square, Revolution Square, and St. Sophia Cathedral. The city's name originates from one of the Ugro-Finnish tribes and means "clear," likely referring to the river that runs through it. Nearby amenities include cinemas, cafes, restaurants, and bars. Visitors find it to be a great value for their money compared to other options in the area.

There were unique reliefs on the walls of the cathedral, some of which were lost. About 450 carved white stone fragments have survived to this day, including images of saints, as well as animals, birds and griffins. St. George's Cathedral is the only ancient Russian temple with an image of an elephant. Try to find it (marked in one of the photos), it’s difficult but interesting.

(Translated by Google) A unique temple, a must see if you are interested in the architecture and art of Ancient Rus'. Founded in the 12th century, at the behest of Yuri Dolgoruky. Collapsed. It was rebuilt in the 13th century and completely covered with white stone carvings. In the 15th century it collapsed again, but part of the walls survived and the cathedral was reassembled. Traces of reassembly are visible in the stone reliefs; not all of them are in place. The shape of the temple also changed. The carved iconostasis was placed inside from the moment of the collapse and later painted. There are several versions of the original appearance of the temple, they all agree that the 13th century temple was taller and, accordingly, “slimmer”. The interior paintings and flooring are much later, so the whole cathedral is delightfully eclectic. Now the temple operates as a museum, but some details make it clear that services are also held there. There is an opportunity to place candles in front of the carved iconostasis of the 13th century. The cost of visiting is quite small - 100 rubles. adult ticket.

(Translated by Google) A temple that keeps secrets. Before arriving in Suzdal, we visited Yuryev-Polsky. A very atmospheric city. St. George's Cathedral is the pearl of the route. Extraordinarily beautiful stone carvings and extraordinarily amazing paintings of a centaur with an elephant. Many icons and interiors “do not correspond” to current concepts of an Orthodox church or cathedral. Indeed, this is a place that keeps many secrets of the people who have been here since the 12th century. The temple “lives”; for those seeking spiritual places and heights, it is the best place. Everything is imbued with that time and life. I really want the cathedral not to turn into just a commercial museum, but to preserve the spirit of that time.

It turned out that all of these are monuments of local significance, i.e. one of the nine remaining temples of the pre-Mongol period, not even a monument of federal significance. Many thanks to the keeper Sergei Vladimirovich Ivanov for his story and attitude to his work. Entrance costs only 45 rubles. Local Vladimir cultural officials should be ashamed of the state of UNESCO heritage level monuments. It seems to me that the complex has been restored since the filming of the film “The Golden Calf”; there are also shots of the church in the woods. St. George's Cathedral amazes with its frescoes. The painting captivates you and has a magical attraction. Be sure to find the elephant on the facade and you will be happy. The town of Yuryev-Polsky is small, but pleasant to walk around. Be sure to walk along the earthen rampart and have lunch at the Golden Calf cafe. Muzey Utyuga

Nestled in a vibrant old merchant's house, Muzey Utyuga is a delightful and quirky museum that showcases an impressive collection of irons. Visitors can explore this charming two-story mansion located just across from the Perslavl Kremlin. The second floor houses the fascinating exhibition, while the first floor features a shop where you can pick up unique souvenirs.
I visited the museum a while ago and was amazed by the guide. He was so inspiring and fun. I'd never thought about iron history, usage, etc but he was so passionate about that so I was all ears. It turned out all of that was quite interesting. Recommended! Not sure about English version tho

(Translated by Google) We visited this museum on July 1st. I really liked the museum itself and the story of the guide Ksenia. We travel a lot, often go on different excursions, there is something to compare with. Ksenia not only spoke competently and answered all questions professionally, but the presentation of the material itself creates a relaxed, creative atmosphere, which, of course, is very captivating. She joked and spoke emotionally. So we recommend everyone to visit this museum and, if you’re lucky, listen to the guide Ksenia. Perhaps all the tour guides at the museum are wonderful, but we had a wonderful time with her. Moreover, there were not only adults, but also teenagers, and they also “got it.”

The exhibition is located on the second floor, on the first floor you can buy souvenirs in the shop. The history of the museum begins in 1999, when Andrei Nikolaevich Vorobyov purchased an old building that housed communal apartments. The land was bought, the mansion was restored and the museum opened in June 2002. Currently, the collection includes over 200 irons of different weights, sizes and operating principles. Carbon, steam, alcohol, electric. You can get acquainted with the whole variety of irons during a short excursion, designed for 15-20 minutes.

Museum
Historical landmark
Preserved 1500s residence of Russia's first tsar, Ivan Grozny, also known as Ivan the Terrible.
The final stop on our wonderful day tour of what is termed the Golden Ring taking in a few historic villages with a great deal of history. The Alexandrov Kremlin is also known as the Alexandrovskaya Sloboda and served as the residence of Tsar Ivan the Terrible from 1564 to 1581. It is a big complex and includes the Trinity Cathedral from 1513, the Assumption Nunnery which was established in the second half of the 17th century and the Tsar's Private Church with its unique fresco paintings and white-stone carved portal. It was a nice stop as our final sight seeing for a great day.

Alexandrovskaya village (Александровская слобода) is known from the XV century. From 1505 she served as the country residence of Grand Duke Vasily III, from 1564 to 1581 - the residence of Tsar Ivan the Terrible (actually the capital of the state, the center of Oprichnina). The Trinity Cathedral (1513), the Intercession Church (16th century, was part of the palace of Ivan the Terrible) survived.

Alexandrov Sloboda was the residence of Ivan Grozni. Often in English he is interpreted as Ivan the terrible. However it is not accurate and what does it mean is his presence generates fear. He was someone who integrated Russia and unfortunately after him the Romanov dynasty took over the reigns of Russia. For some years he renounced his kingly power and entrusted the Kingship to some subordinate and lived in Alexandrov in silence and prayer. Later he went back to Moscow and took over power. Ivan Grozni gave a holistic foundation for Russia.

Gremyachiy Klyuch monastery is located in a secluded area, surrounded by dense forest and has natural springs. The monastery comprises of a wooden church and a restaurant, adding to its serene environment. The beauty of this place can be appreciated through its picturesque surroundings and rustic architecture. It offers a peaceful haven for those seeking spiritual solace or simply looking to escape the city's hustle and bustle.
Founded by St. Sergius of Radonezh, located on the right bank of the Vondiga River, 500m. south of the village of Vzglyadnevo in the Sergiev Posad district of the Moscow region. On the territory of the Gremyachiy Klyuch you will find several sources of healing water, closed cabins with jets, a large immersion font, in which the sacrament of baptism is performed for those who wish. Also locker rooms, gazebos, alleys, wooden bell towers, several temples. The complex is the official courtyard of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra.

I stopped at this place at the same time as my visit to Sergiev Posad. I used to read a lot about sights and decided to take a look. In general, very interesting. Ancient buildings, classic Russian landscapes. The peculiarity is that those springs that gush from the mountain are very beautifully decorated, the water is very cold, crystal clear and very tasty. You can draw water for yourself for free. There is enough fonts here and you can take a dip if you want. Please bring towels and a change of clothing with you in advance. Look for the temperature outside and take care of your health. Getting to this place is easy enough. On navigation from Sergiev Posad 30 kilometers, from Moscow about 70 km. There is one peculiarity - the last 700 meters (half a mile) is a bumpy road without asphalt pavement 🤪. In general, you can overcome this part in any car, even an ordinary sedan can handle it. I was driving an SUV with high clearance so there were no problems. In rainy weather, take shoes that do not get wet, crocs-shoes will do perfectly 😜. One more way to get the destination is to leave the vehicle at the point where the asphalt ends ( in case you’re worried about damaging the underside of your car) and walk the rest of the way for half a mile. It’s pretty exciting! Many visitors do exactly like that! As an avid photographer, I have made many good shots. I rate it five stars and deduct one for the awful stretch of road in front of this sightseeing.

(Translated by Google) Yesterday, November 16th, we visited the Gethsemane Skete with a group of pilgrims. We were then advised to collect holy water. To do this, we had to leave the monastery and go down to the river—it's very close—and descend the steps to the spring. However, due to the icy steps, our pilgrim, a woman in her 1950s, fell and broke her ankle. I recommend that you move with extreme caution in this beautiful place and wear crampons when visiting the spring. Otherwise, if you continue your "strong prayer," you'll have to go to the hospital—in your own city. As it turns out, the holy spring is under the city's jurisdiction, and the monastery is under no obligation to do so, much less the city. And no one came forward to help us at the holy site.

The Holy Trinity-St. Sergius Lavra is a walled Orthodox monastery founded by a 14th-century saint, featuring church frescoes dating back to 1655. It's the main spiritual shrine of the Russian Orthodox Church and a remarkable example of Russian art. The monastic ensemble includes architectural masterpieces such as the Trinity Cathedral, adorned with icons by masters of the school of Andrei Rublev, and the Assumption Cathedral, which replicates the one in Moscow Kremlin.
This is one of the most significant monasteries in Russia and a spiritual center of the Russian Orthodox Church. It is located in the town of Sergiyev Posad, about 70 kilometers northeast of Moscow being founded in 1337 by St. Sergius of Radonezh. It is beautiful and features a stunning collection of buildings, including the Trinity Cathedral, which houses the relics of St. Sergiu. The monastery is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a major pilgrimage destination. We really enjoyed the variety of buildings and inside collections of art and icons.

Visited here in September, 2014. This unbelievably colorful abbey (or cathedral?) is the center of the area called "Sergiyev Posad". According to what I have googled, this abbey is like a symbol of Russian Orthodox Church. You can go there by train from a station in Moscow, taking about 1 hour. It's long a little bit, but you don't have to change a train on the way, so it might be just a great chance to see beautiful sceneries of the Moscow suburb from a train window. Personally I guess those who haven't been to Russia can never imagine this country really likes something colorful, especially churches and palace, but it is not the case. Once you have come here, sort of stereotype in your mind would be changed.

Holy Trinity Sergius Lavra. A historical legacy of the historical development of the orthodox church in Russia, The building is shaped like a broad fortress and inside there are several buildings such as churches, monasteries and other buildings. In this place, you will find a lot of priests coming in and out between the prayer hall and the dormitory. When you enter the church complex you will see a magnificent gate with various paintings on the ceiling. The thick walls which partly start to peel with age but are maintained and well cared for. Besides being actively used as a place of worship, this place is also a museum. If you have free time you can stop by on the left side of the entrance there is a cafe run by a church that sells typical Russian food and according to the menu, all foods sold there are also menus of priests and residents of the monastery. Inside the area, you can find several shops selling various souvenirs, complete from key chains and simple magnets to beautiful and expensive icons. If you like jewelry and crystal work you can also buy it there. If you feel hungry around there is a bread shop, cafe and fresh fruit seller in the area.

Museum is along the lines of other such historic residences around Miscow area. Important difference is that children of Tyutchev decided to hand the mansion to the Soviets after the revolution, this way they avoided being plundered by the proletariat. Even though Tyutchev probably never been here, his children brought many of his belongings here, they even have a bed where he died. Nice location, nobility had plenty of time and resources to find the best area to enjoy life ))) Beautiful area in and out.

(Translated by Google) It has become a little easier for residents of the south of the Moscow region to get to the north. On the Simferopol highway there is an exit to the South-Eastern Expressway (SEH). And from the SE you get to the Moscow High-Speed Diameter (MSD). But the Yaroslavl highway is in a big traffic jam, perhaps in the future it will be possible to get to Muranovo in a couple of hours. But it's still almost 4 hours away. You can drive up to a large parking lot or to a church, everything is determined by the flow of tourists. The house certainly surprises with its non-standard architecture. But it's quite cozy inside. You will be told about its owners and guests during the excursion. Inside, the clocks and chandeliers were chosen by the previous owners for the house and this is the first thing that is visible. Lots of paintings and sculptures. The only pity is that the tour ends quickly. The territory is small, you can meet a descendant of Tyutchev, his house is nearby. The church is small and active. The poet and writer Yuri Mikhailovich Polyakov has a wonderful poem. "Do you remember, we wandered to Muranovo Following the cloud running across the azure, Not at all timid of that land, Where did the Russian poet Fyodor Tyutchev live...

The estate is small, but very cozy. It’s worth checking out the local cafe - everything is very tasty. The estate is a must-see; don’t spare 450 rubles for the excursion. I’ve been to many places, but I’ve never seen such a pristine, cozy atmosphere in a 19th century house. I liked it even more than the big Abramtsevo - it’s more intimate, the nature is more untouched. It was very calm and good, I didn’t want to leave. After walking around the estate, we walked around the surrounding area.

(Translated by Google) A very beautiful and well-kept park and estate, an excellent point for a weekend trip, combined, for example, with Abramtsevo.

(Translated by Google) We were from Yaroslavl on an excursion to this beautiful estate Muranovo. Everything smells of antiquity, history, the soul rests. We saw a squirrel and charming fluffy cats. A very cool cafe "in the barn", delicious home-made food. Potatoes with pork are simply delicious, without onions, which is very important.

(Translated by Google) A very beautiful, spiritual and picturesque place, excursions take place at different times. Great tour guide and very nice staff. The whole family had a great time: we went for a walk, attended 2 excursions, and tried pineapple soup. But we were a little shocked by the toilet rooms; it seemed like we were back in time. They naively believed that this problem had long been solved in museums near Moscow.

(Translated by Google) Quiet place. It's nice to go for a walk with your family and children. Purely. Login as of 07/2020 130 rubles for three: 2 adults and 1 child. The entrance to the main entrance was not found. We entered from the side of the house church. There is security there, employees will tell you how to get to the ticket office for tickets. A visit to the museum with a guided tour is a bit expensive: 400 rubles per adult and 350 rubles per child. We didn't get in because we arrived a little late, after 15-00... Delicious snack in a cafe: pancakes with jam and sour cream, pies, cutlets, etc., drinks. I liked Muranovo tea better chilled)) Nature is certainly impressive! A century-old linden alley, a grove around the estate, a river and air!!! It’s easy to imagine how people lived here 100 years ago.

(Translated by Google) Great place, lucky with the October weather - it was sunny and warm. It was a pleasure to walk. We arrived quite early, there were few people, but when we left, there was already a line at the ticket office. By the way, the entrance fee is 50 rubles. And you can get to the museum itself with a guided tour for 450 rubles. The museum has an old-style buffet; you can also have a quiet snack on the street. Had a good time 😇 (Original)
