-Get down at main entrance, we mistakenly had dropped down backside gate. -Senior citizens are allowed to sit in the entrance if any large queue was there. -Inside temple, womens are separately in queues to have Darshan as its Mahalaxmi Temple. -Drinking water facility available when you come out of Darshan. -Several shops available inside for shopping devotional items. -Peda Prasad nearby exit of Darshan is the cheap and best which was sold by local guys. -Also, Laddu Prasad sold by Temple committee. -Best part is free Bhojanalaya as like in Shirdi was available and taste was very good. (Variety Rice, sabhji, butter milk, sweet.) -Timing 12PM to 3PM -This is located in backside of temple which is of 50m distance from temple. -Free Tokens are given in main entrance and backside gate. -Volunteers/Members inside Bhojanalaya strictly instructs all devotees to not waste food. One should complete his/her food and allowed to get up for handwash. - Plates for children were asked there parents before giving in order avoid wastage of food. - But this Bhojanalaya is present in 1st floor, which is a very big minus point for those where not able to step up. - Footwears are to be kept outside Bhojanalaya.

Beautiful and very very old temple. Powerful vibes can be experienced. Crowded throughout the day. We had gone in the afternoon and early morning and both times the temple was crowded. We were blessed to have a security officer help us out of the blue as my mom couldnt stand and wait in the queue for long hours. Once inside you can feel the essence of an old temple and the idol is so so mesmerising! Truly blessed to have got a chance to visit the divine Mahalaxmi!

We traveled from Chikkodi to Narasobawadi and found it convenient using KSRTC buses. The journey took about an hour by public transport. We visited on a Thursday and were able to have darshan within 10–15 minutes, which was great. A delicious lunch was served at 12:30 PM

We travelled on 11th Oct 2025. Jeep safari had just opened a day before after the monsoon break. It's recommended to start the journey early we started at 8 am . It is a one hour journey by jeep to the waterfall. You will be given 90 minutes at the waterfall. Additional time can be spent at additional charges. It is the best time to visit as waterfall is in full flow post monsoon. Jeep can accomodate 7 pax . 600 rs per person or 4200 per jeep. Forest check point charge 250 which includes life jacket charges. Pls do not litter this beautiful natural paradise.

A must visit place for people seeking some adventure. You have to reach Kolem by your convenience. Then you’ll have to book local jeep that will take you near the waterfall which would take around 45min. Then there’s 5-10 minutes of hiking and you’ll see the beauty of nature. That’ll cost around Rs 850/- including the forest charges which is 250 Rs. You’ll also get a life jacket that’s included in 850 Rs. You’ll also can also swim in the waterfall.

Good place for adventurous trip. You have option to go for hiking treking and jeep tour. It takes 45mins to go by jeep from the forest gate. Some places you cross the streams and full bumpy road for 45mins. You will be given 90 minutes to enjoy at the water falls. These jeep drivers charge waiting charges if you cross 90 mins. Avoid if elders with back pain. Also the water fall area doesn't have proper fencing support railing or any proper means to stand. Plenty of changing rooms but not maintained properly. You have a life guard near the water falls. Rocks are very skidy and be cautious.

Heavy Queue up to 3-4 hours for buying ticket, after ticket buy seat in their bolero around 45 min then you reach dudhsagar waterfall parking area… after that 10 min walking for dudhsagar waterfall, after seeing you feeling just wow… awesome location.. but time taken.

Writing down so that anyone who wants to go can have an easy trip. Things to note: You cannot take your personal vehicle after the ticket booking point in Kullem. No shops inside, so take your water bottles with you. The road is very very rocky. Anyone with back problems is adviced not to go. You will need to pay a maintanence fee, its about 220 per person. Carry cash, they do not accept any digital payments. Theres 3 ways to reach the actual falls. The first 2 options are a trek. You can trek from Kullem or Castle Rock. The trek from Castle Rock is almost a whole days worth trek and you will need a guide. The one from Kullem is about half a days worth. The roads to reach there are also very muddy mostly because of jeeps that keep crossing the road. I personally would not recommend the trek because it's not very scenic, the roads are bad to non existent and is dangerous in general, especially from Castle Rock. And you can't take a jeep back from there either because jeeps already have their passengers pre-booked from the ticket point. The only advantage of the trek is that you can stay at the falls as long as you want. The third way is to book a jeep. Best way imo. They run non stop from the ticket point. It's 500 person(on top the maintanence fee). They'll drop you at the final leg, from there you have to trek for 10mins. A very simple trek. You get 1.5 hours at the falls. Enough to see whatever the falls has to offer.

It’s an easy to moderate trek for around 11.5 kms one way…the view is not much what we expected but was okish. The guide will force you to take the train track route but please make sure you take the forest route for better view and experience.

There are Two ways to Explore the Mighty Falls, one in by Trek and other is Jeep safari which is 4200 per jeep (Rs.700/- per Head) if you are less then 7 you can share with others. By Trek is very difficult for Inexperience, its took 3 hours up and 3 hours down total of 6 Hours Walk. Forest Entry Ticket is Rs.250/- per person. Jeep Travel time is 45 Min up and 45 min Down. They Gave you 1.30 Hours for bath in Falls if waterflow is low. The 1.30 hours time is not enough for everyone because we cant get out of the falls due to its carry such joy and wild experience, they gave you life jackets so don't worry about if you not know to swim. Overall I highly recommend everyone must visit this Falls once you are in GOA. Timing 9.0 am to 3.0 pm. Checkpost is walkable from Kulem Railway Station, which is 30 min from Madgoan Junction.

Unkal Lake Hubli: Perfect for Picnics & Peaceful Walks! Unkal Lake is a popular and well-maintained spot in Hubli, ideal for picnics, walks, and quality family time. The lake is large, complemented by a clean garden, playground, and walking pavements right at the entrance. Entry is a nominal ₹10 per person, and car parking is conveniently available in front. While the lake itself is well-maintained with regular de-weeding and attractive new fountains with lights, it's disheartening to see visitors still scattering garbage and plastic, despite efforts to keep it litter-free. A great place to relax, if visitors contribute to its cleanliness.

A great place to spend time with family and friends! The Unkal Lake and garder is the place where you can find real peace and happiness. The place is totally covered with greenery and we can see many view points there so that we can enjoy the lake view from there and can feel the atmosphere. The lake and garden is really wonderful but I suggest to maintain the Unkal Lake more as the water seems to be polluted, and also request each and everyone (including me) to maintain the place and follow the rules so that the lake and garden look better and it's our own responsibility to maintain our area and surroundings clean including public parks, gardens and more. My overall experience was pretty good and I really enjoyed a lot. Most recommended garden to visit for the one who are new to Hubballi, and i recommend those too who haven't visited this place. There are even many more kids playable area so that kids can enjoy and have fun. Best walking trails are available for morning and evening walks and you'll really enjoy it. Huge Parking facility is also available vehicle parking. The ticket is Rs.10 per person and Rs.5 for vehicle (the day I visited). * Online Payment Option is not available. ** No entry ticket and vehicle parking ticket were provided by the ticket counter agent, who was unresponsive.* Overall my experience for this visit was worth watching and I really enjoyed here! Great place for walkers and jogger’s . We could only make 1/4th round of the entire lake . According to the security of the lake the entire periphery of the lake is about 6.5 kms . The lake closes at 07:00 pm . If you are planning to cover the entire round then have ample time before you take the full circle. The lake is just next to Hotel naveen . The pavement have been well laid . There are lights out along the track so that the move may be smooth . There is a sun set view point at the enterance at a heightened location . There is an eatery/restaurant at the entrance where you can grab snack before you set out for walking . Entrance fee is 10/- and parking fee is also 10/- . If you are in Hubballi and not sure where to go in the evening then this is a good place to explore .

I am a resident of Jaipur and have been visiting lake for long walks ever since childhood. I have seen people from all walks of life come to lake for morning and evening walks. I like to walk the talk here with friends and family. The environment of the lake is very conducive for deep introspection. Watching the sunrise or sunset gives me an exhilarating experience and makes me feel one with God and Nature. Of late you can see the water shimmering like silver if you go around 5:30 or 6:00 pm and makes the whole area look so calm and serene and beautiful. At the other end of the lake there is now a Buddha Park with a very beautiful calm and serene statue of Lord Buddha in sitting pose. At the entrance you will find the lake club, restaurant, lots of vendors selling eatables, and a big play zone for kids where you can enjoy with kids. Also, there are ducks in the lake which you can feed or go for a boat ride. There are plenty of things to do here. It has become an activity centre for people. All in all an enjoyable experience.

I especially loved the mud kitchen items prepared in the old style from our UK side — I’m a big fan! The food was completely tasty, healthy, and reminded us of our roots. The entrance games were on another level, and I had so much fun playing with my little and younger brother. It created beautiful memories for all of us. I sincerely request Agadi Thota to make mud kitchen items available either online or offline, so more people can use them, as they are really good for health. Nowadays, in Dharwad city, I only come across matka water, but not such authentic items. Agadi Thota is a perfect destination to enjoy the real rural beauty and culture of North Karnataka. The farm is well maintained, calm and quiet in lush green surroundings. The activities provided are enjoyable for all age groups. From bullock cart ride, pottery making, boating, rain dance and many others. But mind you they only provide the structure you have to do everything yourself. But the best part is the food of North Karnataka served during entire day..it’s simply awesome..fresh, tasty ,homely and unlimited also.. The staff is very warm and makes sure that whoever comes there have a great time. The concept of organic farming and showing people how to do such type of farming in a very sustainable manner is really appreciated. It’s not about visiting, it can be called as an complete cultural exposure. I would say family outing, school outing or if you are just bored from the life going around. If you are anywhere near Karnataka u must visit this place!

Karnataka's pride. A must visit for anyone who wants to go back to roots. It's finest piece of art work and engineering. Beautiful architecture and stone carvings. First capital for Karnataka during ancient days. Many idols have undergone attack but still standing tall. Must visit with your young ones and show them the past history and their architecture skills. Great feeling to touch and see the amount of details on each stone. Great work. I'm no one to judge but it's a great piece of art work.

The temple is located around 800m from the bus stand. People taking buses need to get an auto to reach temple. Inside the region one can experience the rich cultural heritage of Kadamba dynasty. The pillars and moorties are very artistically built in those very ancient years. Great piece of abilities from sculptors. There is daily anna prasada. So people can have lunch. There is a small Balaji temple outside nicely built. If no rains one can visit Varada river bank which is 500m from temple.

Ancient temple with lot of art works, but poorly maintained by government undertaking. Even the crowd that comes in is noisy and with zero sensibility, spoils the artefacts. The temple needs a good maintenance to keep up the serenity of temple and history.

Good initiative by government all types of animals are there for sighting.. I have taken bus safari with combo per person 250rs including zoo. But not worth only we can see 1 tiger and 1 lion in cage balance 1 tiger and 1 lion sleeping outside mid of the forest.. rest we can sightsee in safari are deer and kadave… In zoo all types of animals there kids will enjoy the zoo sight.

Visited Shimoga Zoo and Safari recently, and honestly, it felt more like just a zoo than an actual safari. The "safari" experience was underwhelming — the animals, including the tigers, were in enclosures just like in the zoo, so it didn’t feel like a true safari at all. There was only one lion, and overall, the zoo section wasn’t very impressive either. There's definitely a lot of room for improvement in terms of animal habitats, maintenance, and visitor experience. That said, the highlight was getting to see some big cats up close — lions, tigers, leopards, and even a black panther, which was exciting. But beyond that, it didn’t quite meet expectations.

The forest space is huge but has only a lion and a couple of tigers. The guide informed that they are bringing in 4 more tigers from bengal in the month of October. We took a private jeep and yet the tour was rushed by the guide stating that it was peak season and hence reducing a star. There were plenty of deer families and the bisons were magnificent.

Not at all worth for the money we pay for both safari and zoo. No much animals / reptiles / birds. No much maintenance too with respect to animals. Eatables are available only at the exit of zoo. Park will be occupied only by adults without even caring for small children. Cycle is available to roam inside the zoo at Rs.50. Parking fee must be paid at the entrance itself

Although it has almost all type of animals , count of the same are limited . It’s really good place for kids to learn and enjoy. I recommend parents to get ther kids to visit . So not compare it with Bangalore or Mysore. This zoo is well maintained. I don’t recommend safari here but if you have time and first time visiting then it’s worth.

A very poorly managed Zoo and Safari near Shimoga. Only One lion and two tigers were there in the Safari Enclave, all of them in cages and we need to travel in fully secured buses to watch caged predators.... What is the logic behind this? Why it is called a Safari? Rs. 250 is the ticket cost per person for Zoo and Safari, totally worthless for the Safari Part. Moreover, despite having so many buses, the drivers used to wait till all the 20 seats got occupied and we made to wait for nearly 20 minutes inside the bus for other people to come.... Disgusting indeed.....!

Beautiful fort, can walk easily all over. Must visit Onake Obavva kindi. Best time is to visit in the morning when sun is not too sharp. We visited late September when sky is still cloudy and has fresh cool breeze so you won't feel tired and can walk till the end.

Since the place gets very hot during noon, carrying a cap and enough water is a must. Also, there are many monkeys inside the fort premises, so keep your belongings safe and be cautious. The great King Veera Madakari Nayaka rolled fort. This fort made of full of rocks, very beautiful place for one day trip. Located near NH 04. One brave lady called Onake Obavva lived here, she alonly killed hundreds of Hidarali's soldiers.

Well maintained fort Too big fort mostly 3-4 direction at rreaching main point. Maim Temple and Gate cam be covered in 1-2 hour, whole fort day be lesser. Parking outside fort and limited to 10 15 cars mostly. Water facilities, Washroom and fort premise is clean.

A historical temple built in Vijaynagar style. Intricate rock carvings adorn the entire temple complex which has manin Veerbhadra temple, a Shivling and a Shri Ganesh statue. This all is buil from rock, mostly single piece carving. On the walls you can see Ramayan, Samudra Manthan, and daily life of king's court, dance, etc. Beautifully carved. The world famous hanging pillar is an architectural marvel. Tourist are seen passing a thin cloth under it without getting stuck. Parking is limited, pay and free. Toilets available but in ok shape. Drinking water available near garden. Good for 1 day trip from Bengaluru. Government must take some steps to stop encroachment of area near the temple as some 'peaceful community' pests have tried encroaching near the boundary wall. Their children deface the compund every now and then.

Ravana subsequently killed the Jatayu dev, who then came here in a frozen condition. It is located 100 km from Bangalore, which you can reach within 2-3 hours from there. You can get the facilities of both train or bus, To come here, you can come from Hindupur and take an auto or bus to Lepakshi Temple, which is located 15 km away. Here you will be amazed by the alphabets, pictures, designs, and various crafts carved on the stones in the temple. Moreover, the hanging pillars here are very famous. Photos of the main temple Even though video recording is prohibited, you can easily capture your moments outdoors with your camera. There is a huge footprint here, believed by many to be that of Mother Sita. In addition, traces of ancient architecture are still visible today. Outside the temple, you will find the palace, toilets, and parking facilities. You can enter the temple from two sides.

Visited Lepakshi today – overall a great experience. The temple architecture is stunning and rich in history. Not very crowded, which made it peaceful and easy to explore without any rush. Clean restrooms are hard to find nearby, especially for families or long stays. Would recommend carrying essentials and planning accordingly

Both bus and train facilities are available here.There is a Nandi statue here which represents the craftsmanship of ancient history. It is located about 1 km away from the Lepakshi Temple. Moreover, although there is a toilet facility here, it is currently unusable.

The place has a mix of nature, trekking, and spiritual feel. The trek is around 3 to 4 km uphill. Some parts are steep and narrow, but there are railings to help. It’s better to start early in the morning to avoid the heat and crowd. Make sure to carry water, wear good shoes, and be ready for some climbing. On the way up, you’ll see a few small temples and a big Nandi statue. The temple at the top is peaceful, and the view is really beautiful. I visit 21-07-25 Very Beautiful beginners trekking spot close to Bangalore. From Bangalore it's a half day adventure trip. Good to go during weekdays since there will be crowd which is safe. Else go in large groups. During weekdays carry food and water.and valakallu teertha is amezing moment.

We visited Shivagange in the early morning, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. As we started our trek just before sunrise, the cool breeze and peaceful surroundings set the perfect mood. The silence of the morning,made the whole atmosphere feel calm and spiritual. Overall, it was a perfect blend of adventure, nature, and spirituality. Visiting early in the morning is highly recommended if you want to beat the heat, avoid crowds, and enjoy the serene beauty of the place at its best.

Had a wonderful trek to Shivagange! The trail offers a mix of steps and rocky paths with beautiful views along the way. It’s best to start early morning around 6 AM to enjoy the sunrise and cool weather, as it gets quite crowded once the sun is up. You’ll see many monkeys on the way, so keep your food and water bottles safe. The monkeys are playful but can grab things quickly. At the top, the view is rewarding, but water and snacks are quite expensive, so it’s better to carry your own water to save money. Overall, it’s a moderate trek, with some steep climbs near the top, but manageable with short breaks. The vibe is peaceful in the morning, and the breeze at the peak makes it worth the effort. Highly recommended for a day trek near Bangalore if you love adventure and sunrise views!

It was nice trekking experience here. Some portions are little tough but enjoyed a lovely trip with friends.

Very good place to spend a day's time with your team. You have to trek for 20 mins to reach the camp once vehicle is parked in the nearby village. The camp organizes a few team building activities and adventure activities like rope walking, kayaking and boating in manchanbele dam. But the fun part is that you are allowed to swim in the waters with a life jacket. They also serve decent Breakfast, lunch and tea/coffee snacks.

The main attraction of this place is water. been there for one day outing. Food is not at all good. But you will enjoy the day. Also location is beautiful 😍 .Rest room is too far and why there is no mirror?

Water sports activities are good but they have less boats now available and out of all boats few are not in good working condition, food was ok keeping in mind that place is far from normal living area, rappling was good, rope activities are also ok, staffs are polite, this place is mostly for adventure loving people rather than relax,dance,games(cricket, volleyball,paintball,etc) loving people. No paintball, and mud driving.

Nice place for team outing. Best part was swimming and kayaking in river. Other than that rope activities and team building activities were good. Food was ok. Avallaki in breakfast was smelly. Had to throw it as it is. Sambhar vada and idli was good. Reached there by private bus which we booked for our team. Bus was parked at some 1.5kms away from destination. Had to track to location from there. Since its an adventure camping zone so don't expect any air conditioning room or place to rest. Your whole day is going to be tiring. We started from Bangalore at 8 and reached there by 10.30. Evening we left at 5.30 and reached back by 8.30.

A beautiful place to get away from the city and camp under the stars. The host and their staff did a great job of ensuring we had a good time. The food was amazing! They have a selection of activities to keep you occupied. Overall a good experience.

If you want only back water swimming and boating experience then this the best place. Life Saver Jackets are of good quality. Food is okay okay.

If your are ready for a 1km hike before you get to the place, then this place is for you. XtremeZone is not all that "Xtreme". The food was horrible. A local villager we talked to said that they prepare meals in a very unhygienic manner. The staff was somewhat helpful. The owners have no regards for customers though. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The only plus point is the long drive.

An historical temple also still functional. Beautiful architecture is an understatement. A must visit place when you are visiting Nandhi hills. They do allow marriage ceremony to take place in the temple premises. Most of the structure are getting damaged due to lack of proper security and government negligence I hope they will do something to maintain this beautiful temple.

The atmosphere here is divine and calm — perfect for meditation and prayer. The temple is very well maintained and surrounded by lush greenery, giving it a natural charm. There’s also a beautiful pond and smaller shrines within the complex that add to its spiritual ambience. It’s a great place for both devotees and history lovers. Visiting early in the morning makes the experience even more peaceful. Truly a hidden heritage treasure that showcases the rich culture of Karnataka. 🙏✨

One of the best amusement parks in the country. Some rides are really high on thrill and adrenaline rush, especially their roller coaster- recoil, the twister, maverik etc. You must not miss the newly added adventure ride- Interstellar which is an experience in itself. The giant wheel at the 13th floor gives the best view of the park and the city. The waterpark isn’t great but has some good water slides and rides you can try. For extra fun you can try the rain dance shows, & especially the wave pool with the dj is so much fun. The best part is they hae made a division in the pool with 2 sides, one for family, couple, women; and other for only men. The crew keeps a check that everyone follows the rules properly and behaves. Some things to keep in mind. Some rides can have queues in rush time, but its doable; as the fastrack tickets are double the cost and not worth it as you can still do all rides without it, just make sure you reach before noon and are there till atleast 6pm. Noone specifically checked the costume for waterpark, but carry appropriate material clothes to enjoy the most, or you’ll have t o buy them at 350 bucks. The locker costs 350 rs, with an additional 50 bucks of the magnetic key watch band. There are multiple food joints and options to eat from. You’ll also find souvenir shops. Check offers before Booking! This place is really good for a day outing, don't start from the first ride, watch YouTube videos to see which one you don't wanna miss and be in queue for those in the start. First of all reach the place by 10 am to be aware of what to do, and how to go ahead. Normal queue Wait time is 30-70 minutes on each ride after 11:30. So decide wisely don't waste your time on not so worthy rides. We included three meals, it was a good decision so we didn't waste time deciding, what to eat. My recommendations at least include noon meal, so you can enjoy it and during the evening it will be your wish for what you wanna eat after rides. Take the longest hours, it's hardly the matter of 100-200/- rs but then after dinner also you may be able to do some fun rides if not water rides. Take the locker in advance or one of you may end up just looking after your stuff. Wear water rides approved clothing from the start , so you don't waste time changing clothes again and again. Wear rubber slippers/ crocs, it's easy for you to move around.

Apart from that, the high thrill rides like Recoil were just insane. The water park section was also great the slides, the wave pool, the lazy river everything was just perfect for cooling off and chilling. The staff were polite and helpful throughout the day, and the locker and changing facilities were neat and clean. I also liked the food options inside decent variety and not too overpriced, which was nice. Overall, I had an absolute blast here! The **rain dance** and **Rizal Coaster** were especially unforgettable and gave us real goosebumps. There are **lockers available**, and **drinking water** is easily accessible throughout the park, which is really convenient. Coming to **food**, the options are good and available at **reasonable prices**. Just one suggestion — avoid eating and then going for active water rides immediately, as it might cause a bit of discomfort. For **timings**: * Monday to Friday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM * Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM In the **evening**, the **lighting and night atmosphere** make the place even more beautiful. **How to reach:** Reaching Wonderla is easy. The best way is to take the **metro to Challaghatta (last station)**, and from there, you can easily book a **cab or bike**. This was my 3rd visit but first time with family and kids. Beautiful park, everyone should visit for fun. Weather was supportive so you could enjoy water games. There's new addition to the park - Mission Interstellar. It was mind blowing. Never experienced before. For all games there's 25% of people with Fast track priority passes are sent in. With Halloween passes, all land games can be played even between 7 pm to 10 pm while games for regular passes are closed by 6 pm. Park timings on weekends is 11 am to 7 pm. Everything is fine except Food. Its totally SCAM. If you buy buffet online vs offline, the prices are different. If you buy Buffet lunch at entrance is 419 while online and inside its 500+. Any food like Fried rice or Noodles with non/veg manchurian and large coke combination is 410/- when you can buy Buffet for same price. The quality of food is pathetic. After spending good time, we felt disappointed with food quality with menu options and with exorbitant prices. I have provided same feedback to ground staff to improve food. Hence reduced the overall ratings.

Nice place to worship Lord Krishna. Very well connected with metro and Bengaluru buses. In temple, darshan facilities, food & water facilities are good. Overall very good arrangements,cleanliness and nice experience. Only thing is no special feeling. It's like visiting any other temple. This place is serene and calm atmosphere to enlighten the spiritual experience within you. It is well connected with all public transport as it is located in the heart of the city. If you're driving a four wheeler then parking charges of 40 rupees collected. You shall easily spend an hour or three including the shopping of artifacts and other devotional items inside the temple premises. Multiple vaishnavaite deities are present here. Everything is maintained near and clean. An artificial waterfall and a lake add more charm to this place. This place is getting upgraded with more infrastructure as the construction is going on as well.

Nice lounge.. they also serve liquor which is chargeable. Food options are available. They also have live counter for dosa and parantha which is a nice add on. Their tea collection is really very nice. I loved their Kahwa dip tea which i haven't seen anywhere else till date. They also serve filter coffee which is very authentic in taste. Washrooms are also inside the premises. It's good for a stopover and get some snacks and drinks. Staff is nice too.

My one major feeling was a slight lack of a "zoo" or large animal presence (apart from birds), which I missed—it felt more like a purely botanical experience rather than a nature park with diverse wildlife. However, for a botanical garden, all the basic amenities and facilities are well-maintained. Conclusion ; If you are in Bengaluru, it's definitely worth a visit for a peaceful, nature-filled break and a lovely walk or cycle ride.

It was a beautiful experience. The day was 🌞 I went with my family to explore the beauty of this huge botanical garden that has flora species dating back to hundreds of years ago. Enchanting. ❤️😇 We took the ride for 45 mins which is charged ₹100 per person. The guide thoroughly took us to different locations of the botanical garden taking small stops at specific points. Overall it was a nice experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the place. Recommended to family and friends. ✨

Nice place to visit. It is a place where you can feel the eternal peace. I visited during 4 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. and saw lighting, alongwith water sprayers. There is a small children park for sliding, swinging. You can sit, have snacks, can do shopping of Sri Sri branded products, and buy ayurvedic medicines with nadi pariksha. 3 to 4 hours is sufficient time to spend if you are going with with family.

First, I was treated with utmost love and respect and kindness by almost every staff member I met here (especially the ones serving the food!). The grounds are pretty, there is a large building being built and the traffic is not *too* loud. I was told I could stay in the accommodations for free and try a course, so I went to speak at the reception (I was also interested in volunteering). I had to fill out several forms and when I was done, I was informed the "Happiness course" was $440 USD. In the USA, that is a lot of money. In India, you could feed a family for a year. It's just a touristy cult/scam that I wouldn't ever return to or recommend to anyone.

A Great Day Out, But With Key Areas for Improvement ​Bannerghatta Biological Park offers a genuinely wonderful experience for wildlife lovers, making it a fantastic destination for a day trip. The park is vast, and many of the naturalized habitats for the local species are impressive and well-maintained. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful, contributing to an overall positive atmosphere. ​However, a couple of significant issues prevented me from rating this as a perfect five-star experience. ​Firstly, I was disappointed that some of the highly anticipated major animals, notably the Lion and the Orangutan, were either absent or could not be found in their areas during our visit. This was a notable letdown for key species that many visitors hope to see. ​More importantly, I observed certain welfare concerns that I hope the park management addresses. Several animals appeared to be kept alone or with a very limited number of mates, which seemed sparse given their social nature. In a few cases, the enclosures seemed smaller than ideal, and I witnessed some animals exhibiting repetitive, stereotypic behaviors (pacing back and forth). This gave the distinct impression that they might be bored, stressed, or depressed due to the lack of space or social stimulation. Ensuring that all animals have adequate companionship and spacious, enriching enclosures is crucial for a park of this stature. ​Despite these issues, the overall variety of species and the natural beauty of the environment are undeniable. If the park could improve its exhibit list consistency and significantly upgrade the size and social conditions of the enclosures I mentioned, it would easily earn five stars.

Last week, I visited the Biological Zoo with my family. It was a very exciting and memorable trip. We saw many animals like lions, tigers, elephants, deer, giraffes and colorful birds. The best part of our visit was the safari. It was really thrilling to see the wild animals moving freely in the open area. We saw lions and tigers very closely from the safari bus and it felt like a real jungle adventure. The zoo was clean and well maintained. The staff guided us properly and we enjoyed taking many photos and videos together. It was a fun and educational experience for the whole family. I would love to visit again, especially for the safari ride.

Bannerghatta Biological Park is a great place for a family day out. The zoo is well-maintained, with a good variety of animals like lions, tigers, elephants, and reptiles. The safari experience is the highlight — you get to see animals roaming freely in a natural habitat, which feels exciting and safe. Better to pre book tge tickets through online from their official page. Also suggest to visit morning first slot.Walkways are clean, and there are plenty of resting spots and food stalls. Weekends can be crowded, so visiting early morning is best. Overall, a wonderful and educational place for kids and adults.

It was amazing experience we went in the noon at 2:30pm for safari and it was so lively experience and kid will really enjoy this. The safari takes 45min and its amazing experience and the zoo inside there are many caged animals snakes as well. Well maintained and hygienic. Be aware there are mosquitoes be cautioned while takings kids mainly

+ very well maintained + Safari in pre winter monsoon season was too good. All animals were in good mood and curious. Would suggest safari better than the zoo. Of course zoo is a must for reptiles, birds and other herbivores. + Animals well fed and taken care of. Would suggest visiting as soon as they open in the morning. Animals move to the shade in the afternoon.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND visiting this biological park you’ve probably never seen so many animals in one place. The Bannerghatta Biological Park trail is about 2.2 km and takes at least 3 hours to complete. After that spend around 45 minutes at the Butterfly Park. It’s absolutely worth it with family or friends. There’s also a safari option though I didn’t opt for it you can check other reviews for that.

I recently visited Bannerghatta National Park, and honestly, it felt a bit overhyped. From the photos and reviews, I expected a proper wildlife experience, but in reality, it was more like an average zoo with a bus ride added in. We booked the safari bus since jeeps weren’t available, and that was fine — but the safari itself was quite disappointing. The entire 20–30 minute ride had barely 4–5 types of animals — deer, elephants, leopards, lions, and a small bear. It didn’t feel like we were in a natural habitat at all. The zones were just large fenced areas with a few animals each. For example, you start with deer and elephants, then after passing a gate you reach the leopard zone, where maybe 3–4 leopards can be seen resting near shelters. Same goes for lions and bears. It honestly felt like a zoo with a bus tour instead of walking. After the safari, we went to the zoo area, which was okay but again nothing great. There were only one or two animals of each species — a single giraffe, one tiger, one lion, etc. Variety was there, but it didn’t feel lively or well-maintained. The butterfly park was the best part of the entire visit. The entry fee was ₹50 per person, and it was worth it. The dome area filled with butterflies and greenery looked beautiful and peaceful — definitely the highlight of the day. Overall, Bannerghatta National Park is good for a one-time visit or a short family outing near Bangalore, but if you’re expecting a real safari or wildlife experience, you’ll probably be disappointed.

It is a very spiritual and peaceful place. A very good temple to visit with family and friends. The atmosphere is divine and gives a positive energy. Some suggestions for improvement: Currently, the entry fees are accepted only in cash. It would be better if they start accepting UPI or digital payments, as it is convenient for many visitors. Also, they often ask for exact change, which is difficult sometimes. In case of emergencies, it would be good if the management allows devotees to exit easily. For example, one parent’s kid was crying but they did not allow them to leave quickly and insisted on following the full queue. Since they are collecting entry fees, they should provide better services and facilities for devotees. Some of the management staff have a rude attitude, which can be improved to make devotees feel more welcomed. Overall, it is a must-visit spiritual place, but these small improvements can make the experience even better.

Heard about this place a lot so went on 5th oct 25 with family. The parking area was covered but still slushy due to overnight rains. We had to wade through the slush. Though entry fee was rupees 20 but no staff was available hence we entered free. The temple was maintained well. The siva lingams were placed in a orderly manner and pathway was built to access all the lingams. On the biggest lingam honeybees have built their honeycomb. Photo attached. Anyone can keep a lingam in their name after paying rupees 8000 for small one, 35000 for a bigger one and more than a lac for giant size siva lingam. A small pooja will be conducted then a space is allotted for your lingam. Drawback was they do not accept gpay or credit card or debit card only cash. This issue needs to be addressed by the temple authorities. They should not expect devotees to bring this much amount of cash. Infact for using toilet facilities the person collects rupees 5 per head via gpay though the toilet was nasty. The authorities must reign up the contractor. Overall a must visit place but take good amount of cash if you want to keep a lingam there.

Worthy of a one time visit only. Lots of various hindu deities within the complex, beside the 'koti' (meaning crore/ten million) shivlings spread across the place. Serene and peaceful yet this place is by no means a temple for offering prayers. It's clearly made out to be more of a tourist attraction. Starting from paid parking, entry fee of ₹20/- per person, directed visitors in a sequence to confront various hindu deities where the pujari's give you extra attention if one offers money. Better yet, these 'pujaris' coax every visiting individual to 'offer' money for 'blessings'. If one doesn't give/offer money, they grumble and show a care less attitude. Personally dissappointed and not likely to visit this place ever again. I reiterate, this place is more of a tourist attraction, not exactly a place of worship. Accordingly, go mentally prepared when visiting this place.

Temple is very good. Road is also nice to drive if you by Bangalore-Chennai expressway. The only thing which I did not like was at the entrance many transgenders who would demand money from everyone. Other thing is unnecessary forcing people through all the small temples in a queue. Rest all things are very nice and energy there is astonishing. Pujari told there was Brihma temple as well which is second only after Pushkar ji.

I had a wonderful experience visiting Kotilingeshwara Temple with my family. Being surrounded by countless Shiv lingas was truly mesmerizing and made me feel incredibly blessed. The spiritual atmosphere, coupled with the temple’s unique beauty, created memories I’ll cherish forever. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace and divine blessings!

Kotilingeshwara Temple, located in Kamasandra near Kolar (about 90 km from Bangalore), is a unique and significant spiritual site. The name "Kotilingeshwara" translates to "Lord of a Crore (10 million) Lingas", symbolizing devotion and the massive scale of the temple's spiritual ambition. The main attraction is the 108-foot-tall Shiva Linga, one of the tallest in the world, accompanied by a 35-foot Nandi statue. Surrounding it are over 90 lakh (9 million) small Shivalingas, installed by devotees over the years. According to a priest there, around 10 lakh more need to be installed to reach the goal of 1 crore (10 million) Lingas, which is the temple's namesake and vision. The temple complex also houses shrines for many other deities such as Ganesha, Hanuman, Annapoorneshwari, Vishnu, and others, making it a multi-deity pilgrimage spot. That said, the experience feels over-commercialized. There's a mandatory ₹20 entrance fee, and almost every shrine has people expecting or insisting on donations, even for a simple darshan. Especially at the Annapoorneshwari shrine, visitors are pressured to donate ₹100 or ₹200 in exchange for a packet of vibhuti, which many may find forceful or inappropriate. Overall, it’s a fascinating temple to visit for its scale and symbolism, but be prepared for repeated donation requests and a very money-minded environment.

Recently visited the place early morning from Bangalore, the road is so good for a road trip. The timing of temple opening mentioned on google is wrong, it doesn’t open at 6 am it does at 7:30 am so plan your travel accordingly. There is ample parking space around the temple, footwear stands are available and some local shops around the temple. The entry ticket is Rs 20 per adult, kids below six years have free entry. The temple allows only traditional dress code for men and women, and phones are allowed inside the temple premises. There are many small temples inside of different deities along with all the lingams. There are many temple area is huge and takes at least an hour to visit fully. The views are mesmerising and definitely worth visiting at least once in your lifetime!

Kanipakam Swayambhu Ganesha Temple is truly divine and spiritually uplifting. The idol is swayambhu (self-manifested), making the darshan very powerful and unique. The temple radiates positivity, peace, and a strong sense of devotion. A must-visit holy place where prayers feel instantly heard and the atmosphere fills you with divine energy… Temple should avoid practices of asking money as true devotion must remain pure and heartfelt.. Be aware of agents outside temple.. money is not everything.. sad part is even though temple was free enough they made us walk up and down the stairs for min 2 kms (even though people were hardly 10 to 15 members) One small request is to organise a special darshan facility for senior citizens and those unable to walk, which will make the experience even more comfortable and inclusive…

Kanipakam Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka Temple – History & Experience Located in the serene village of Kanipakam in Andhra Pradesh’s Chittoor district, this temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha and is famed for its miraculous origins and divine presence. Beautiful temple and if you prefer to go for abhisehkam then you have to go with dhoti and no shirt.you can get the dhoti sold there for 200 rupees. With a ticket of 750, they allow 2 people to attend the abhishekam. Its a big place and nevr miss to see all the God idols. You also get ladder prasadam there which you need to buy.

Another great spiritual place near Tirupati. I visited the temple during weekend and it took more than 1 hr to get the darshan. It was crowded but ttd team managed it well. Total divine and make sure you don't miss this temple when you are in Tirupati. You get the 150 token inside the premise itself.

A must visit temple, there is something in the air that makes you feel calm. No phone or smart watch allowed. Take ati shreegrah ticket for quick darshan.

It not a lake but a temple pond when we visited the lake was filled with algae completely. There is no boating or any activity in the surroundings. There is an amman temple nearby where one can go and pray. But the lake was not worth visiting

There lake hasn't been maintained of late. Boating is not available. The Kadavunasi Amman temple near the lake is small but beautiful and interesting to see.Better take a vehicle to get here.

Went there but got only disappointment. No boating service was there..it looked more like a temple pond rather than a lake. The locals around informed that the boating service hasn't started yet. They did guided us to a view point nearby but if you plan for boating ..please check whether they have started the boating service and then go.

This is not a lake infact a small pound near to temple. Do not keep very high hope on this place but it's good to visit if you have free time just enjoy near the pond, visit the temple and buy some from Fruits and vegetables from local vendor. We went early morning around 7-8 AM and we enjoyed the view and spent like 30 minutes and came back.

Just a small request.. please take some food with you probably biscuit or bread and feed the fishes in that lake... You'll love that feeling
