It is a Fairly Large Complex and also has an Adjacent Hostel which is Nice and where Devotees can stay Free of Cost. There are also separate Toilets for Ladies and Gents in the Complex. There is an Area where the Swami's Life and Teachings are Displayed and Explained. Souvenirs and other Religious Items can also be bought here. At the Entrance, there is a Counter where Tea, Coffee, Kokam Sherbet, Aam Kairi Panna and Mango Juice can be had at Very Cheap Rates. Surely a Must Visit whenever you are in the area.

We were lucky to attend the 10:00 am arti and take prasad. He was a saint with divine life. This is the place where Swami Swaroopanand Maharaj took birth and took his samadhi as well. Born to the couple Vishnupant and Rakhmabai Godbole in Pawas. which used to be his residence before he took samadhi on 15th August 1974. The things that Swamiji used in his daily life and his holy books have been kept here. There are also good accommodation facilities available for the devotees. Visit time: approximately half hour.

There are 520 steps to climb to reach the cave temple. There a huge parking lot at the base of the steps. And a clean ladies & gents washroom near the entry gate. Lots of food & flower stalls all the way to the top. The Marleshwar waterfall clearly visible from the temple gallery. Temple closes by 7:30pm after which it gets very dark.

An divine place of lord shiva🐚🕉️ Must visit this temple in Shravan month as lots of devotees comes here. You will need to trek through steps. It’s an svayambhu shiv mandir inside an stone cave with only one entrance from which you will enter by bending. There is no light source inside cave only deep-jyoti makes light up this holy place. There are eternal vibes inside. Outside temple there’s big waterfall and multiple small water flows you can see. Be aware of monkeys.

I love this temple! Especially when you visit it during rainy season. The view with the waterfalls is breathtaking ! Inside the temple, there are no lights, its just the light of the lamps and the fragrance of the incense sticks which creates a serene atmosphere. Words fall short to describe it. You have to walk good amount of flight of stairs to reach to the top where the temple is. I visited the temple with my parents and siblings on a Monday morning but it wasn’t the month of Shravan so were lucky to skip the queue. Careful of the landslides and slippery surface/floor inside the temple!

Shri Marleshwar Mahadev Mandir & Waterfall We visited Marleshwar Temple with our school friends during the monsoon, and it was truly one of the best experiences! The temple is located inside a natural cave, with oil lamps lighting up the sanctum, giving a very peaceful and divine atmosphere. Right in front of the temple flows the Marleshwar/Dhareshwar Waterfall – during the rains, it looks absolutely breathtaking. The surrounding green hills, mist, and the roar of the waterfall create an unforgettable moment. According to local history, the temple was established by Lord Parshuram and the Shivling here is self-manifested. There are also beliefs about cobras once residing in the cave, protecting the temple, and they are considered auspicious. ✨ What makes this place special is the perfect mix of **spiritual vibes and natural beauty**. The monsoon is the best time to visit, but the waterfall flows all year round, which is quite unique. ✔️ The climb has around 300–500 steps, but there are small stalls on the way for refreshments. ✔️ Be careful during monsoon as the steps can be slippery. ✔️ Please help in keeping the temple surroundings clean.

Shri Ganpatipule Mandir, one of the Ashtvinayak mandir🛕is right at the beach offering a beautifull sea beach view 🌊. It is fenced to avoid direct exit to beach, ensuring safety for kids. Outer mandir premise is peaceful & has good boundary seating, photography is allowed outside. Photography is not allowed, inside the mandir. Ganesh idol is of saffron colour & is midsized. Darshan was easy & it was less crowded during evening hours. Mandir also has got lighting in the evening. During my visit in Diwali, prasad facility was undergoing rework. Pathway to Mandir is well-managed. The initial footwear dropping area is slightly far & you may have to walk barefoot for 100 metres till the final entry.

Great place to visit if you' are in Ratnagiri and if you want to know more about the Konkan history. Rs.50 ticket per person and 50 extra if you are going to use a camera. You will also get a free guide who will explain in detail. Highly recommended for an educational and enriching experience!

It was really an awesome experience to know Ancient Konkan life 100+ years back people use to live. The guide was very knowledgeable and provided good information about history of Konkani people. I must say one should visit to understand Konkan culture and Maharashtrian people's living in Konkan region. I paid ₹50 per person with ₹50 additional for taking camera photos.

A very good experience overall. The personal tour guide explained everything well, and the exhibits were interesting. Even under the noon sun, the tour felt comfortable. The shell museum is also worth visiting. A must-see spot for anyone exploring Ganpatipule.

Shivsagar Lake is located in Kamargaon. A beautiful lake located near Koyna damn offering a wonderful experience. Very cool ambience and beautiful greenery surrounds the lake. But during peak summers the lake is dried up and water is scarce. The dried up Shivsagar Lake (Koyna backwaters) shows how places across the country are facing acute water crisis. Boat ride is available. Motor speed boating is best here. The lake is very huge so don't go for normal boating as speed boating gives an amazing experience.

Very nice clean silent beach in the city. Just next to the temple. Some parts are Rocky (which gets hidden in high tide time) rest all is sandy. With small stones on beach. But it's good to play on the beach .. some sitting around to enjoy breeze and few hotels for some food around it. Just near beach, there is parking for 10 12 cars

One of giant waterfalls on shayari forest range . The route was quite amazing to ride since lot of view points through the falls road. Entry fee rupees 50 per head. Parking and rest room facilities are available. You can do small trek to view this gigantic waterfall. The view was stunned visulas that fals flow through valley. Currently water flow is just okay. Monsoon is Perfect time.

Excellent place to visit. Good waterfall in Sahyadri range near Satara. Walkways and stairs are well developed so you can have good views of waterfall. Entry fee is Rs 50 per person. If you want to see both falls you have to trek little more. Old age people who has difficulty in walking should avoid. Two water falls big and small. Big water fall can be seen from specially made overview platform. It's in valley and in rainy season you will enjoy this waterfall. Small water fall is from less height and you can go near falls. Cave behind waterfall is amazing. Enjoyed visit very much. Highly recommended during rainy season.

The paths are not well maintained and can get slippery due to the mist and splashes from the falls. There’s a viewing deck for the motha dabdaba, from where you can soak in the breathtaking view. The site is maintained by the Satara Forest Department. Parking space and washrooms are available, though the washroom wasn’t lit during the evening hours, which can be unsafe. Shree Vyadeshwar at Guhagar, Ratnagiri is a 'Kuldaivat' to many 'chittapavan kokanastha brahman' families. This is also thousands of years old Shiv temple built by Sage Vyadi and hence called Vyadeshwar. This offers unique prasad - bundi laddoos made with bundi, ghee and jaggery. It has got a limited parking space. It's a part of congested old city. Wheelchair accessibility is there with basic amenities like washrooms and drinking water.

Shree Dev Vyadeshwar temple is a temple dedicated to the God Shiva. It is located in Guhagar town from Ratnagiri District of Maharashtra State in India. The deity is considered as the Kuladevata (Clan-deity) of many Chitpavan families from the Konkan region. It's a very beautiful, neat and clean temple. You can feel the positive vibes as soon as you enter the temple. Not very crowded so one can sit and medidate too. One must definitely visit the temple if you are visiting Guhagar. History: Sage Parashurama created the land of Konkan by shooting his arrow into the sea and commanding the Sea God to retract the waters to the point where his arrow landed. This new land came to be known as Sapta-Konkana, meaning "piece of earth", "corner of earth", or "piece of a corner", derived from Sanskrit words: koṇa (कोण, corner) + kaṇa (कण, piece). Shree Parshurama also requested 60 rishis to settle in the newly created land and protect the resident clans. He, being a devotee of the God Shiva, requested Shree Shiva to meet him daily. Sage Vyadi installed the lingam of Shiva at this temple in Guhagar. The Shiva icon and temple was thus named as Shree Vyadeshwar (the Lord of Vyadi). It is believed that Shree Shiva stays here in the invisible form. Shree Vyadeshwar Deity was lost to time and is rediscovered in the era of King Sakuran, when the current temple structure was built. The temple is constructed between the 1st and 2nd century, which makes it around 2000 years old. The architectural style is called 'Panchayatan'. A Panchayatan temple contains four subordinate shrines in four corners and the main shrine in the center of the podium, which forms the base. Here, Shiva is Shree Vyadeshwar, the central shrine, with Surya, Ganesha, Amba or Ambika (Shiva's consort) and Vishnu with his wife Lakshmi as the South-East, South-West, North-West and North-East subordinate shrines respectively. Nandi (the vahana of Shiva) sits in front of the main shrine. The temple has three entrances to the east, west and south. Shri Garuda (the vahana of Vishnu) and Shri Hanuman are installed on either side of the East entrance, inside the temple. This 'Panchayatan' temple is ancient, as are its deities. Due to aging, the three shrines were found eroded. In May 2015, the shrines of Shri Parvati (Ambikamata), Shri Garud and Shri Hanuman were ceremonially replaced by new shrines. Also the shrine of Shri Suryanarayan was replaced later. All the required reinstatement rituals were systematically performed. The old entrance facing the East was small in size and was inconvenient. That entrance (Mahadwar in local Marathi language) was replaced with a completely renovated gate, during the recent renovation of the temple.

The temple is old quiet and beautiful. Over the years maintenance of the older parts seems to have suffered a bit. The approach road (last 200 - 300m) is very narrow with only a single vehicle able to pass. there a bit of parking space available just outside the temple. It is the Kula-daivata for a number of Maharashtrian families such as the Ranades

Shree Vyadeshwar Temple is one of the oldest and most famous temples in Guhagar as well as in the entire Konkan region. It is located in the heart of Guhagar city, and all modes of transport are easily available to reach here. The temple is serene and peaceful, attracting many devotees throughout the year. Guhagar Beach is within walking distance, and there are several hotels and lodges nearby, making it convenient for visitors and pilgrims. A must-visit spiritual place when in Guhagar.

Located about 8 kilometers from Chiplun City and just 1 kilometer uphill from NH66, the Parashuram Temple is a peaceful and well-maintained spiritual site. The surroundings are neat and clean, with lush greenery adding to its divine charm. It’s an ideal place for those seeking quiet reflection, spiritual peace, or a short scenic detour from the highway.

It's a must visit temple which is on the way to Mumbai Goa highway. The road is narrow at the end of the temple. Ample of parking space available. We reached there by 1130 so luckily we got Prasad to eat. Well maintained and clean surroundings.

During my recent trip to Konkan with friends, I had the chance to visit the auspicious Shri Parshuram Temple. The moment you enter the temple premises, you are welcomed with a sense of peace and positivity. The atmosphere here is truly divine, and the well-maintained surroundings add to the overall spiritual experience. Reaching the temple during peak hours can be a bit challenging due to traffic and narrow approach roads. However, once you arrive, visitors don’t have to worry much about parking as there is plenty of space available near the temple. Overall, this temple is a must-visit for anyone exploring Konkan – not just for its spiritual value but also for the serene ambiance it offers.

Absolutely amazing view and totally worth it 😍 I went there as a part of Kaas Pathaar trek (with Trek Panda) and stayed there till sunset. The weather was amazing, view was Absolutely gorgeous. You have to climb a bit but not too much and view makes it totally worth it. Try to go around 4:30 or 5 and stay till sunset. You will love it. P.S. Carry a sweater if your cold sensitive

I visited the Kaas Plateau end of October. The flowering season was almost over, but i was not an inch disappointed. The valley is magical with the clouds streaming through it. It was truly a splendid experience, i will cherish for the rest of my life. The walk to the Kumudini lake with bring forth a freshness you have never felt earlier. Must visit if you are in Maharashtra.

A must visit World Heritage site..! I visited in second week of September. Drive on ghat road is very scenic. Stay overnight to enjoy the calmness and feel those energetic vibes of nature ir can be done in a day as well. Booked morning slot of 7 to 11 and reached parking area. Ample parking and food options both veg and non veg. Takes around 2 hours to roam around and admire the nature.

We went there on the last day of the season after most flowers have withered, yet the place was heavenly. The crowd was almost non existent. The meadows were carpeted golden yellow. The staff was very cooperative and the facilities were good . A bus picks you up from the parking lot to the gates , from where an electric buggy drops you off inside . Here you are free to walk around and enjoy the park . The breeze was cooled and the the park was a lush green which made it a beautiful experience.

It's good, it's a land of 10 Sq Km. Having 800+ species of plants , different types of flowering plants are covered in huge areas. The plateau is formed by volcanic rock. The best time to visit this area is from post June to the mid September to experience nature. We visited in mid October and found a few flowers. We can call it wild plants. Visitors who stay past 4:30 p.m. often have a better chance of spotting wild animals, as many species become more active during the late afternoon.

Atlast visited one of the bucket list of mine. It's worth to spend our time to visit this place but unfortunately climate not supported on that day. Also it's blooming season come to an end. Kaas is hilly village located 23 km away from satara town. Bus and private car and bike services connectivity are available. The riding.experiance to this village was mesmerizing natural seenic views to till reach this village. Kaas pather or kaas plateau is awesome ecosystem regconised by UNESCO world heritage site. They charged repuess 50 per head. Rest room is available. Small eataries shop are there.

1 of d best & must place to visit fr nature lovers, particularly flower lovers. Best time to visit- after 15th Sept to max 2nd week of Oct. Avoid to visit during heavy rain. Beautiful flowers everywhere on plateau. Min 4 to 5 hrs walk is recommended to njoy all d 4 gates. If 1 want to c Kumudini, he or she must visit via Gate- 4. 1 may also njoy Pithla & Nachnichi Bhaakari, Kulfi, etc. during d said walk. Don't forget to carry water & umbrella...

The place is beautiful. There is some parking space 2-3 km before the lake, because the place gets too crowded especially around monsoons. The water is clean, but not as clean as 15 years before when I used to visit weekly. They're diverting the excess dam water by Making some artificial waterfall ish thing over here. I gave some अर्घ्य to the setting sun over here. Amazing. Let me know your comments, experiences about this place.

The beach is beautiful with less crowd. The problem is that the sand is black and, at times, polluted due to fishing boats oil discharge. The beach has lots of water sports activities compared to few years ago. The tanga ride is good. Moreover, the water is not deep and one can safely go little forwards. Unfortunately, no life guards despite so many tourists.

The Beach was really nice beyond my thinking, I have spent quality time with my family. Both of my sons enjoyed it a lot. We went for two days but my sons want one more extra day. Long and clean beach, rides are available like banana, octopus, jets, dolphins, etc..., we get to enjoy all types of sea foods when we go to spend some time near to sea. I would like to visit LADGHAR Beach again. Thanks for making our vacation enjoyable.

Beautiful serene beach. The slope is gentle, and there are not many rocks. There are no beach shacks so carry your snacks. Access road is quite good and scenic.

Visited Karde Beach recently and found it to be one of the most serene and peaceful beaches on the Konkan coast. It’s uncrowded, clean, and perfect for family relaxation. The beach has a very gentle slope, remaining shallow for over a kilometre, making it safe and enjoyable for playing or wading in the water. However, we did notice some jellyfish-like organisms (possibly sea anemones) close to the shore (picture and video included). Unfortunately, one visitor got stung and had to be taken to a hospital, which is about 15 km away. So, while the beach is beautiful and tranquil, a little caution while entering the water is advisable. Overall, Karde Beach is an ideal spot for peaceful family time and nature lovers.

Murud Beach is another wonderful coastal destination in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, India. This beach is known for its golden sands, gentle waves, and the historic Murud Janjira Fort situated just off the coast. Visitors can relax on the beach, take a boat ride to explore the fort, or indulge in water sports like parasailing and banana boat rides. It's a great place to unwind and soak in the beauty of the Arabian Sea.

Murud Beach is perfect if you're looking for a mix of relaxation and activity. It’s a wide, sandy beach with enough space to walk, play, or just chill by the waves. The water is usually clean, and the beach is well-maintained, especially near the main entrance areas. You’ll find decent washroom facilities close to the parking zones — they’re usable, though not always spotless. Getting here is simple via road; it’s well-connected from Alibaug and nearby towns. For stays, there are plenty of hotels and homestays nearby, ranging from budget to premium. Evenings get a bit lively with stalls, horse rides, and families enjoying themselves, so it’s not too quiet — but not overly crowded either. If you're planning a short beach getaway, Murud won't disappoint.

*Update : As tourism grows, ignorant tourists have started running the beach. Check my timelapse video to see the filth! Beautiful Beach with water sport activities available. This beach also is supposed to be the safest on the coast with no rocks and a long stretch which doesn't go deeper than 4 feet for quiet much distance. The village has its committee that cleans the beach regularly and thats why they charge daily toll to the tourists.

Clean beach, happy to see people respecting hygiene and not littering everywhere. Crowded: there are more people here as compared to other beaches of Dapoli. Water sports: not much, the waves do not support surfing Rides : Camel, horse cart, banana rides, boat rides, speed boat available here with average safety and hygiene standards. Food: saw many restaurants around the beach. Not so great option for full course meal but tea and snacks options are available. Parking: saw people parking at the beach. To avoid hustle, we parked about 50 meters before the beach in a resort parking (charged 100 rs per car)

This place is very awesome. We went to this beach from our cottage on karde beach in about 10 minutes. In Dapoli this beach is more crowded than any other beaches. You can perform water activities here like para sailing, banana ride, sofa ride. We went to this place at evening to watch sunset and it was awesome view. You can have variety of snacks at this beach. We eated kokan special ukdiche Modak and ghawan chatney at nearby stall. One thing I observed here is local people are very polite and friendly.

The beach is clean. There are water sports like a banana Ride , paragliding etc. You will get approximately all types of food. There are lots of space for leaving on rent.

Table land is the second highest asian plateu in India . From this place we can see the views of following places - 1. Pandavgad , Wai and nearby villages ( previously known as Viratnagari as per Indian Mythology )at the eastern part of plateu 2.Kamalgad at the western part of plateu 3.Dhom dam at the western part of plateu Table land is the great place for people who enjoy long walk, running, playing ground sports. Table land turns more beautiful from 20 September to 11 October every year as this is flowering period of many wild flowering plants found in western ghats .

At the entrance, horse riders offered to take us to 10–12 points, but honestly, only 2–3 of them are major spots that you can easily walk to within 1–2 km. 6 kms valley having historic relation with mahabharat. Where it is believed Pandavas spent their exile here. Pandavas footprints, caves, devils kitchen is here many movie shots were taken here. It's long plateau. Asias 2nd highest Volcanic Plateau. U cannot walk full plateau there are horses and carts which costs around 1400 to roam everywhere and they explain you story. Best to visit during sunset 🌇

One of the best places to visit during the rainy season. Do not go for any guide or so just travel by urself they will only give information on which movie was shot where and which battle was fought and etc. If horse riding available go for it and bargain for it without fail, for 9 spots go for as low as 1200-1500. You will get some picturesque views if you travelling on low rainy days. Do not spend 20 rs on pandav caves, not worth it it's just a simple shiv bhagwan statue without any lights in cave. Note: from June horse riding is banned for three months due to the rainy season.

Absolute picturesque. It has 9 points to visit. Ghodawalas will approach you right outside, you can either take a horse or walk on your own. If you take a horse then try to bargain cause they charge 3600Rs which is super expensive and not justified at all. We bargained to get the horse at 1300 for 6 points and rest 3 points we walked.

One of the oldest but still a very significant point in terms of tourism. The view of the valley, dam is picturesque. Little food stalls are there to munch something. There is small dutta temple as well. A very good photo spot to carry back memories to cherish.

We went to Mahabaleshwar hoping to enjoy the rainy season. Packed all our rain gear, umbrellas, jackets, even plastic covers for bags. But as soon as we reached… the rain just disappeared! Not even a single drop! It was like the rain said, “Okay, my job is done. You guys take care now.” Instead, we were welcomed by thick clouds everywhere. Couldn’t see much ahead while driving – the fog was like “peekaboo!” every few minutes. But honestly, the cloudy weather made the whole place look magical. The valleys, trees, and hills covered in clouds looked straight out of a movie scene. We missed the rain, but the cool weather and peaceful vibes made up for it. Sitting on a hilltop with hot chai and roasted corn in that fog… pure bliss. It felt like the clouds came just to give us a cozy hug. So yeah, Mahabaleshwar didn’t give us rain, but it gave us something better — quiet, calm, and some unforgettable views. Highly recommend going there if you want a break from all the city noise. Just… don’t chase the rain. It’s faster than it looks!

Visit during monsoon. When we visited there were rains but not heavy downpours. It should be drizzling not heavy rains, if there is heavy rain then the entire place is covered in fog, it would be difficult to drive in the fog in the hill station and also some view points will be closed. Hotels, restaurants and taxi service , bus services are available within Mahabaleshwar and to reach as well multiple bus or cab services available. Weekends will be too crowded, There are 3 temples at the hill top and they are a must visit.

Visited yesterday.This is one the best places in mahabaleshwar. Need to pay entry fees to start journey before this point. After this you need to pay 50/- for parking. Try to visit this place in evening to get a good view of sunset. You can take horse ride, boat ride, game shows, activity games and some tasty food items. Try to take horse ride with photoshoot. . Main market and mapro garden is near from this. Good place for spending time. Boating charge 600 for 4 person for 30min.

Parking is another headache — very congested and disorganized. Overall, this is just one of those places you visit once to tick it off your list, not for the experience itself.

We went during May end , so the evening breeze by the lake was so soothing. Gets extremely crowded during peak tourist season. There are ample parking spots, but due to the rush of tourists, it is very difficult to find a parking spot nearby. I have seen families walk a considerable distance from their parking area to reach the lake. It all depends upon whether you get a parking or not , if you have a driver, they may drop you at a distance. Apart from this, the lake vicinity has different activities like boat riding , horse riding, etc, and way too many fast food joints selling all kinds of food and drinks. There are fruit vendors , toy vendors , and so many shop keepers all around. If you just want to sit by the lake and watch the sunset amidst all the cacophony , come a bit early and sit a little away from the main entrance point.

We went to Pratapgad Fort with family. There is no ticket for anyone. It has historic significance. This fort was made by Shivaji when he was 16years old and it was the most smaller fort built by Shivaji. This fort has one ambey bhawani mandir and shivling and hanuman temple which has historical importance. There is also Afzal Khan grave . While you visit take guide he will explain you everything.

It gets very foogy by the evening and advised to carry a torch or phone with sufficient battery as there are no street lights and power cuts are frequent. Weather was amazing and so was the view. We visited over the weekday but as it was Diwali week, crowd was expected. We reached early in the morning around 10am so didn't face traffic issue. There are good food options which offer tasty snacks.

One of my favourite place in Mahabaleshwar, the view and the quietness is stunning . I wish the place had more seating places to just view and ponder . The food vendors are a pain , occupying all critical places , and allowing all packets to me used and messed around with . The pt close to Arthur’s seat , Savitri pt is also a fabulous place to stop and enjoy the breeze.

I visited Shivthar Ghal. Shivthar Ghal is a peaceful, calm & spiritual place. It is about 6 kms away from the Bhor-Mahad road that goes via Varandha ghat, it is about 114 KM from Pune. The road is not in a very good condition and full of twists and turns. Shivthar Ghal is also known as Sundarmath (Sundarmath means Beautiful Monastery) & it is a cave, under beautiful waterfall. Samarth Ramdas Swami lived here for about 22 years & he written famous ‘Dasbodh’ at this place. It is believed that this is where the first meeting between Shivaji Maharaj and Samarth Ramdas took place. You can visit shivtharghal any time but best time to visit is in monsoon. In monsoon you could see a huge massive waterfall falling right in front of the cave. But it is not accessible to visitors. In peak monsoon, the nature is at its best in this place. You will get ‘khichadi’ as prasad if you arrive between 12 PM to 1:30 PM. A dharamshala (rest house) is available for visitors. For the Bhakta Niwas, it's essential to contact the Shivthar Ghal Sundarmath Seva Samiti in advance.

What an incredible place! The fort carries deep Maratha history and offers stunning views from the top. The trek takes around 1.5–2 hours, but every step feels rewarding. Ropeway option is also available for an easy ride. The atmosphere is calm, especially in the morning, and the fort is well maintained. Don’t miss Jagadishwar Temple and Shivaji Maharaj’s samadhi point.Recommend carrying water, wearing good shoes, and visiting during monsoon or winter for the best experience. The first trek of my life....the view after climbing the stairs for nearly 3 hours was worth it. There is a lord Shiva temple alongside the Samadi of Shivaji Maharaj. It was pure bliss...peace at its best. Simply put the trek was amazing. The best time to start is early morning. The sunrise is worth watching

Had a fabulous experience visiting the fort. Appreciate the Chhatrapati Shivaji maharaj for his historical places among the Raigadh fort. About staying experience at private hotel was worse, the local people have made rooms on their roof and charging with very heavy cost so better to plan like that u can reach at early morning and go by night. For a ticket I started waiting in s queue in the early morning at 5am and the counter opened at 7pm so there is no arrangements for seating or coupons systems. Online tickets are consumed very fast so difficult to get it. Government must give more focus on improvement.

This is a well known fort for the Great Maratha Hindu king Sri Chatrapati Shiva Maharaj from where he had ruled the kingdom. At present some part of the fort still available in good shape.

Great place for trecking and scenic views mixed with historical architecture. You can get a cable car in case you dont wanna treck 2000+ steps. Please visit during winter or spring for best scenic views. In summer waterfalls dry up and during rainy season clouds could hinder visibility as was the case with me. Try to reach the place as early as possible in the morning as the night travel could be very risky on the road full of valleys.
