Les Gorges du Loup is a beautiful canyon carved by the Loup (French for wolf) river flowing down the Alps. There is a wonderful hiking trail taking you up the canyon to the picturesque village of Gourdon - some say it is the most beautiful in France - like an eagle nest dominating the valley beneath. Up there enjoy the spectacular view spaning southwards to the sparkling blue waters of the Mediterranean. On a clear day the snowy summits of the island of Corsica (240 km away) are in sight if you look to the south. A narrow road connects the tranquility of the wild, rugged and under-appreciated back-country from the village down to the overcrowded touristy coast.

Not really friendly people.. Agressive dog came to us, woman yelling to us and didn't speak any English. So we unfortunately don't came further than 10 m before the entrance after a 600m walk (not available for normal car). The view during the walk is very nice though..

Well I tried to make a reservation via email. No one responded. So we decided to drive up anyways because maybe the email address didn't work. The farm looked amazing until the angry lady came out. She started freaking out saying we don't have a reservation and explained I tried and no one responded sorry. She said if she doesn't respond that means no one can come that day🤔. Ok so I said well is it possible to make a reservation for later today since we are already here we can figure something out while we wait. She said absolutely not she had a private party and we have to leave immediately. So in reading the other review left last week and my experience today I would suggest not visiting as lovely as the animals looked from afar the caretaker looks like she would be miserable no matter the day 🤷🏼‍♀️ so take a shot but call ahead

Lovely friendly people. Was so nice to have the animals roaming around freely. My 5 year old loved petting the animals and the pony ride. A fantastic day out for us! Will be back!!

Nice sandy beach, mostly clean and with transparent water. Some good places to eat nearby. Busy, but still okay during the week. Avoid it in weekends. Lot of youngsters (you know where they come from) that don't know how to behave and no police at sight to control them.

This beach is nice however we preferred the other beaches in Antibes. The water gets deep very quickly and we had to watch with the kids. Sand was soft and nice to play in. There were lifeguards on duty and washroom near by.

This is our second vacation here. The beaches are free, with crystal-clear waters, lifeguards, and showers. We didn't expect it to be crowded in June, but given the location, it is.

A very nice place to visit, it was super nice to take a ferry from Golf Juan and come. We were with a small kid and it was all great, we were walking around the island, but what we did not expect is that we should have made a reservation for lunch (we bought sandwiches which were also super tasty and fresh). Beautiful island for a day trip or half day trip. Easy to get the 15 minute ferry from Cannes. There are nice walks around the island and beautiful swimming spots with crystal clear waters. Perfect place to take a picnic, relax and enjoy the views. There are a couple of food vendors for snacks and drinks. Also check out the diving / snorkeling spot with underwater statues. The area is on the opposite side of the island to the boat port. Cool experience, swimming out to find the 6 underwater statues/sculptures.

Île Sainte Marguerite is a fifteen-minute boat ride from Cannes. You can pick up your tickets directly on the quayside. The crossing is rather quiet. Had been there during last September. The Palace of Festival & Congress was under renovation. But the atmosphere around the area is lovely. Try to reach early, say around 9 am. Getting a parking slot in the parking lot of the basement is easier if you reach that time. The crowd also is less. We were able to see a nice market set up around the Prom de La Pantiero. The marina situated in the area is also really good. There are enough eateries in the area where you get lovely croissant and pastries. If the market has been set up you can even get very fresh fruits.

I loved seeing the old citadel le and imagining how difficult it must have to live there. Cost 3€ for adults. The views from the top down the valley were amazing.

Quaint medieval town - tough climb up to the citadel but its worth it for the panoramic views of the town and the surrounding area.

A stiff walk from the town is very worthwhile . This fortress, typical of Vauban, is definitely a must visit when in Provence. The history dates from 1690 when it was built to the beginning of the twentieth century when it was used in WW1 to house German POWs. The views are also exceptional and worth the climb just for the scenery.

From the gate to the top you can do it in 20-30 mins. You get a great view.

We visited on a Sunday in February and it was a great time to go. Only a handful of people were on the French/English tour. The guide was approx 45 mins while we winded through the cave passages. It was well done, lots of interesting information along the way. Be careful as it can get slippery and there are some low parts that you need to crouch down. Not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers. 15 degrees no matter what season. A lovely shop at the entrance to purchase souvenirs. Well worth a visit especially for children, it was such a great experience!

Beautiful jewel of an afternoon out. I would suggest trainers for this 40 minute exploration of a grotto to discover a secret underground world. The tour is about 40 minutes and is in groups of around 10. The history of the formations is fascinating and the kids loved it. The Nex door there is an accrobranche zip line facility which the kids would like, but it was raining on our visit. Drive up to St Cezaire is beautiful also and there is free parking on site. Well worth a visit.

don’t get me wrong this is a BEAUTIFUL hike! but we were expecting it to be a one hour hike and it ended up being four hours which we were unprepared for. maybe it’s on us or maybe they need better signage? pack lots of water!

Impressive landmark which shows the sheer power of the water when the dam burst in 1959. Massive concrete blocks with reinforced steel beams are shattered across the valley. From the parking lot it will take you about 20 minutes to reach the dam (walking) and another 10 to continue the trail towards the lake. Don't forget to bring some water, there is not a lot of shade around the trail and summer temperatures can be high.

Fabulous balcony bar with comfortable seating and marvellous views over the marina and beyond. The casino itself is quite small with a large restaurant and small bar inside. The staff were very welcoming and happy to sign us up with an access card on the presentation of passports, and a complimentary glass of Champagne. This will give us access to all Barriere casinos!

You know… « I’m on the French Riviera, (which conjures images in your mind), will go to the riviera casino (had the same issue with needing a passport to enter (valid identification, an European driving licence should be adequate) I don’t like to carry my passport out and about with me. Very nice lady on the bar, filled my empty water bottle for me. By then I’m inside, (couple of days later), and I wish to use les toilettes. Ugh 🤮 the toilets were filthy. There are 2 toilets available, one is supposed to be wheelchair accessible, that is not well enough equipped for anyone in a wheelchair. No lids on the toilets, no soap in the dispensers, all sorts of yeuch in the toilet bowl. So I didn’t feel inclined to use them. On the way out, I told the girl behind the desk, that they needed attention, but she « no speak any English » Very very disappointed I ended up going to McDonald’s

Affordable way to go to Saint Tropez as a tourist without a car. About 42 EUR for round trip and you get to choose departure date and time. Boats were on time and within an hour you're on location. Purchased 4 r/t fairs to St Tropez. Missed the 11:30 by a few minutes, waited 2 hours and departed at 1:30, arriving at 2:30. I Asked the lovely man named Ludwig about the 5:30 return and he looked at our tickets and said, you leave in 1 hour. A beautiful charming medium size boat, staff is very helpful. You will experience long wait in line without any short message or information, will be great a short announcement to satisfy the waiting travellers.

Really easy experience with this company getting to and from St Tropez. The staff was pleasant, and the process was fairly easy. I also appreciated how responsive the team was via electronic communication with my questions. A one way (as I was staying two nights) is a bit more complicated as you can only reserve the one way there. You must buy the second one way on the boat on the way back. I think there is a way to allow for this all at the time of initial reservation personally. Of note, the drop off in St Tropez is at the newer port, not the old one, which is a SLIGHTLY farther walk for those with luggage.

I had an excellent journey from Saint Raphaël to Saint Tropez. It’s a lovely way to travel to Saint Tropez. The boat was on time and it was really enjoyable.

We. Old get on all the rides quickly and the kids loved it. Make sure you have the discount ride tickets from super markets or travel office. Around 5 euros a ride which isn’t crazy. Worth a visit for sure

This is ok bring plenty of cash. Lots of prize games to play and some good rides. The catapult and human pipeline is probably the highlight. Plenty of food stalls around if your looking for somewhere to eat. Some of the rides were not operating when we were there. Not sure why. My 7yr old twin boys enjoyed it

Adorable – negative reviews reflect people’s (may be skewed )perceptions of what a habitat should be. So, no the African animals did not have a sprawling savanna to gambol about in, but they seemed healthy and well fed enough. The little farm/petting zoo area replete with goats was a big hit for our disabled son and so many of the kids who seemed to be enjoying it so much. This was also small enough that you can have a nice time in a few hours not feeling terribly worn out. We opted for an annual membership!

This place is a lot bigger and nicer compared to what is was like 35 years ago. We went on a Sunday in August and there were lots of people. It was nice for me to see how much this place has evolved over the years (in a positive direction.)

It was a great place to visit. We ware there in the beginning of the evening and there is a big carpark. At 20:00 they open and have great security. We already ate but it was a pitty because the food they serve smelled amazing! Its a nice place to go, we and the kids had great fun!

I visited Luna Park Fréjus last night with my family, and unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience — particularly at the caisse centrale where we purchased bracelets for the kids and tokens for the games. While the lady at the counter was friendly and welcoming to the customers before us, her behavior toward us was quite the opposite. She gave us a cold, disrespectful look and spoke in a very dismissive tone. It felt like we were being treated differently, possibly because of our ethnicity and the fact that we don’t speak French very well. What hurt us the most was hearing her mock us to another Luna Park staff member in the cashier after we had completed our purchase and walked away. This was not only unprofessional but also deeply disrespectful. We came to enjoy a fun family evening, but instead we left feeling judged and humiliated. I truly hope the park management takes this seriously — everyone deserves to be treated with kindness and respect, no matter where they come from or what language they speak

Good park, very busy, we went on a Thursday in summer. Slides are nice, but only 2 are really awesome. Long queues, so fast pass is almost needed an day like this. We brought our own food, it's allowed, decently priced drinks.

The park is nice. Enough parking lots, well maintained, slides are OK, queues are reasonable without fast pass (except two biggest ones). My three kids had a happy times there. But the attitude is terrible. Half an hour before closure security guards are pushing you to leave faster, very few staff speaks English or any other language. And my favourite - I have paid 150+ euros for 5 entry tickets and one lunch (euro 15). The food court that serves prepaid food was closed at 15:10 when I went there to get my lunch. No signes, nothing. Other food courts didn’t accept my QR code. I wrote an email to them afterwards and got a response that this food courts works between 11 and 15:30 that was never mentioned at the time of purchasing the tickets. They behave very cheap by declining my request to make a return of 15 euros. Cheap crooks in OK water park :(

Great park. Super nice during end of season once the kids were back to school, as there were zero lines. Only complaint is they nickel and dime you at every opportunity. Parking: £4…Locker: £7 Beach chair: £4. My 5 year olds were just a few inches short to ride any of the slides, but there were 2 kiddy parks, a lazy river and a large pool they could use which was enough for them. Will definitely come back.

Good waterpark, the kids had a great time all day and we felt they were safe. We hired the sun-loungers in the VIP area for €40 and it was worth the money. Longest wait for a ride was 1 hour and we didnt bother with fast passes as they were very expensive. Family of 6.

Been there many times before. Some queuing always happened but this year was the worst ever! We were able to go on three rides in an entire day of being there and queued for hours. It works out at €10 per ride unless you are prepared to pay the extortionate extra of€30 per person for a fast pass. This would bring the entry cost per person to €57. That is too steep and just reeks of greediness. The introduction of the ‘fast pass’ has lead to excessive wait times and is just another sign of how big corporations exploit people. We will certainly never return after this disaster of a day.

Bigger and better rides than the nearby St Maxime site. (which was our first choice when taking children under 10. The Frejus site is now our first choice as the kids are old enough to go off by themselves. The kids love it, we now go every year. Food and Drink is expensive though, we normally pack drinks and sandwiches which they are happy to let in. There does seem to be an issue with hard case cool boxes, we’ve never had an issue with material cool boxes.

Get the fast pass! You'll regret it other wise. The two main rides (Vertigo and the Serpent) are very popular and you'll have to wait for 1-2 hours in line. Other than that all the rides are great!

We have a wonderful day today joining AquaBond Rafting for Tubing sur le Var. Be prepared to get soaked and make sure you wear hard bottom sports shoes!

Amazing experience Paragliding! It is something I have always wanted to do. Felt very informed and comfortable and the entire experience was amazing. The pilots were really friendly and spent time taking loads of great pictures so we could look back on the experience. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

My 9 and 10 y/o daughters have made a jump with this school. It was fantastic! The instructors and other personnel are very professional and friendly. Everything was arranged perfectly and was very clear. It al felt very safe and secure and it was obvious the jumpers were very well trained and had perfect control in the air. This is highly recommended. For my daughters it was the single best highlight of our holiday. Be advised that there are different weight categories. Because of this I could not participate in the same group as my daughters (One group is 15-80 kg and another is 40 kg+)

Oh god, the village is beautiful very nice place to take off. Also the landing spot was fantastic, however, if you don’t know France language you’ll be in trouble. The school boys are very pleasant but conservatives because they aren’t confident enough that you will understand them with they level of English. About the village, with my regards to others, is one of backward place I ever experienced. Good luck with beginners.

We visited Friday 22nd August and went to the naturist section which there are 2 off both are a right mix of n7de and textiles which is fine, but what really put us off was the people with dogs who did not lift the poos they just left them or even worse covered it with sand.

One of the best beaches in the Saint Tropez / Ramatuelle area. Just stunningly, but busy.

It is a nice beach but beware bring water and anything else you may need. We had a reservation at Nikki Beach but before that all of the ‘beach clubs’ won’t really even let you buy water or a drink, and renting chairs at them is very expensive.

Superb beach - totally clean water, nice waves, easy to walk in and all of the services you may need: ample parking (8 hours for roughly 20€, 30 min free), life savers services along the beach, an ice man running by with a cart and several clubs where you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas plus have expensive lunches. Awesome place.

The beach Pampelonne Beach I visited today was absolutely splendid. The azure waters of the ocean were crystal clear and full of life. The pristine shores were immaculate, and the velvety sand felt luxurious under my feet. Not a single rock could be found anywhere, enhancing the beach's allure. I highly recommend this beach as a must-visit destination.

Came in afternoon. Was very lucky to score a parking spot as the place was packed! Beach crowded and quite rocky to get to. Showers are not working. Water was clear and relaxing. Not much to see if snorkelling around the rock faces.

Best beach in the area. Free, shallow, very convenient to get to, if you want to park tho, get there early. we walked and the hill back out is a 7% so be warned. Lots of families with small kids, dogs are allowed but only on leads and there is no shade so it’s a bit cruel to bring them here. 2 snack vans and ice cream seller. Only thing that spoilt it on this trip was groups of local teenagers dropping rubbish but unfortunately that happens everywhere I guess, some people just can’t appreciate how beautiful where they live is.

A great beach for those who llike swimming and snorkeling. Our favorite site near Ramatuelle and Saint-Tropez. You can walk a little further up the parking towards Cap Taglliat and then down the path to enter a beatifull small beach with even better conditions for snorkeling. Enjoy.

Amazing hidden treasure. Has two food trucks open from 9 am To 530 pm. The parking is free and it has clean restrooms. No lifeguards. Families comes w children so gets loud around noon.

We (five American women) drove by this cemetery by chance driving to Draguignan to a farmer's market in 2002.. we were taken by the vastness of it and stopped to visit. It was beautifully maintained.I took many photos of individual American graves and of the beautiful monument in the center. This cemetery is compelling and I could have spent all day....

Beautiful castle ruins 20 minutes drive away from St Tropez. The town of Grimaud is a quiet, beautiful town. The Chateau is open 24/7, there is no regulation or entrance fee. Three main towers and several walls remain. Only reason it's not 5 stars is I didn't think there was enough historical markers. There were instead QR codes for modern art exhibits

Charming little town, clean and picturesque, and doesn't feel too touristy either. One of my two favorites while visiting France - we visited in January during low season and oftentimes it felt like we were the only people there, felt very peaceful.

What a beautiful location overlooking the hills above Saint-Tropez. The castle is very close to the old village below and offers spectacular views. The village is also incredible charming and a great place to have lunch and relax.

The views are stunning from the top of the historic chateau also the ruins are well worth the climb just for the photos and experience and the surroundings area view and landscape all around.

Got there in the afternoon, but the place must be equally beautiful early in the morning and at the sunset. A widespread garden, becoming a park in some areas and fruit orchard or herb field in others is situated on a slope, sea views are amazing from any point of it. It has a small lagoon, available only for organised diving. A charming little restaurant only serves a couple of dishes of the day, but it's always popular and worth waiting for a free table. Would advise for a family adventure.
