Any links with the genuine dinosaur footprints, which are five minute's drive away at the Icnitas De Enciso, are tenuous to say the least - the "museum" here is a real afterthought. If you want to actually find out about the dinosaur footprints, go to the Centro Paleontológico de Enciso in town instead. The food was mediocre at best - bagged salad with tasteless tomatoes in Spain should be a crime - and overpriced. We only came here to eat because the restaurant in the Posada Santa Rita in town was full, so unless you actively want to come here make sure you book at the posada before coming to Enciso. The staff looked like they'd rather be anywhere else. We did see kids enjoying themselves in the pools, but that was about it.

We had a great time with our 2 kids! It’s what I call a “Bosque Disneyland” ☺️👌beautiful views, great rides for little ones and for adults. We absolutely loved the circus 🎪 and the most exciting for me personally was bobsleigh experience. My 7 year old daughter loved the haunted house escape room so much, that we had to do it 3 times! 😅

Good place to spend a day with children. If your children like animals, they will have a wide variety of animals to see. The rides are fun, and here I mention the Bobsleigh, the tubing and the self drive boats. On the negative side, this Parc is huge and there are large distances to be covered. If you are with small children, they will get tired pretty fast. The day we went it was very crowded too, so there was a lot of queueing up to get to the rides, anywhere from 15 minutes to almost an hour for the bobsleigh. Parking is free but quite far away, if you want to park closer to the Parc, you pay 9 euros for a day in a parking place that is not only nearer to the entrance but your car is also protected from the sun.

Please go to any store and get those tear drops that you stick on doors to reduce this noise. This place is great. But how do you get there? I found get to Arguedas and follow the signs easiest. It’s not complicated. The roads are more track than tarmac but perfectly fine for cars. You could also enter via El Paso, but it’s not so well signposted. From Arguedas it’s a straight track until you reach the army base, where you turn left. Don’t mistake the first ‘stack’ as the iconic photo. Travel 2 km up the track and there’s a clear stopping place where you can get out and have a 360 degree view once you’ve climbed the easy path. Then continue on for another 2 km and you’ll reach the classic photo stack which has plenty of parking space. To get out you can keep going, left out of the car park or simply do it all again in reverse back to Arguedes.

I went there for the Spa and the termal waters after I ws on a trip through the Scandinavian and Baltic countries. We'll, it is very sad but there is no a positive way to compare them. This place was more expensive, the water was either very cold or lukewarm and the lack of maintenance was unbelievable, I mean the little mosaics titles were loose in the pools floor. Some of the water taps were not even working, but of course everything was about to be fixed the next day. Typical Spaniard answer. And, even tho the entrance is pricey for what it is the charge you extra for a pool cap.

Follow the steps down to the cave, it's well lit and has handrails. This used to be a fortified Islamic medieval palace built between 1065 and 1081 that eventually housed the regional parliament of Aragon. I was amazed by the intricate mixtilinear arches and springers, with arabesques over a large area. Definitely worth the money (not expensive) and time spent there. Simply mammoth size of a Cathedral....hard to photograph it was so large but got some shots on a stormy night from the bridge. Beautiful tiling on roof. Beautifully carved altar and wonderfully cool inside. Sadly a couple of the towers were being renovated but understandable.

Such a beautiful Basilica. Seeing the Pilar where our Lady billocated was so special. We timed it well for Holy Mass. you do need an hour to explore afterwards. Plenty of priests were there to hear confessions. Architecture was spectacular, the paintings, sculptures- a pure joy to be there. Plenty of Capella for praying along. Rosary after 12 mass.

The beauty & building for the glory of God is a feast for your eyes. Again the ticket here can be also used at ‘the glass rosary’ You’ll need more time than you think in this cathedral. Look at the tapestries. If you like art this is for you.

Very nice and important place to see. The cathedral has some magnificent architecture and decour, also there is a wonderful tapestry museum inside which I would say is a must see for any history and decour enthusiast. The visit includes a great audioguide in multiple languages.

One of the most impressive cathedrals in Spain, also constantly underrated and overshadowed by El Pilar for obvious reasons, it retains a big artistic value in unique from the wood altarpiece to the choir or all the baroque interiors, plus the mudejar tiles on the façade or the collection of rich medieval tapestries. The cathedral of the savior of Zaragoza is so beautiful church! Inside and outside! It’s very nice to visit. I recommend it! Feels so peaceful in there.. there are tours for a fee not in the mass hours of course.

Restaurant has a great potential but unfortunately it is not there yet. We ordered a tasting menu and all the plates were well served. It starts with a delicious hummus along with some mussels and salmon. It follows with mediocre arroz con calamar which was also fine. But the rest was disappointing. Salmon was not tasty and the sauce couldnt save it. It continued with lamb shoulder which was bland and also weird in a seafood heavy tasting menu. In general tasting menu didn’t have harmony which makes you to switch from white wine to red in the middle. Desserts were also nothing special. Wine could have tasted better if the menu was considered part of it. Wineyard is huge and the ambience is really good. Staff was really pleasant and friendly. They can make the experience much better if they reconsider their menu as a whole.

A cool experience- My partner and I love wine and decided to visit the Sommos Winery! It’s on the top 10 list of the most modern and innovative wineries in the world and we wanted to check it out! The experience was great! We paid €10 each and got a tour of the space, a video speaking about their winery and a 3-wine tasting (total of 90 minutes). Our tour guide (Lidia) was amazing and so charismatic! She made this experience a wonderful one! Have to say, was a bit disappointed with the wine. I was expecting a phenomenal wine however I wasn’t impressed with any of the 3 we tasted. Were hoping to take a bottle home but didn’t, in the end. Would still recommend the experience for wine enthusiasts!

Driving through Spain we discovered this very beautiful building of Sommos. Impresive building. Wine tour was full so no possibiliity to visit. We bought some bottles.

The girl at the shop was really super attentive and helpful. You can try the wines before buying, and they seem to know what they talk about, which is not always the case. The domain itself looks really nice. And they were opened on the 1st of November when all the others were closed.

We were able to stop in without a reservation and do “tasting”/ order glasses of wine to try. We loved the Sauvignon and Tempranillo, and our sommelier was very knowledgeable about wine, the surrounding area, and Spain. Thanks for having us!

Excellent visit. Very attentive english speaking guide, generously served various samples in addition to the offer of 4 wine tasting for 10 eur as our conversation about their wines evolved. Tasted mostly whites, excellent Sauv. Blanc in particular, but also interesting Grenache Blanc, Chardonnay. Great Cab. Sauv. as well. The vinification happens 27 meters underground and grape pressing is non mechanical. Great mix of evolving tradition and respecting the culture.

Absolutely worth the visit! Castillo de Monzón is a stunning and atmospheric fortress with incredible history, especially tied to the Knights Templar. The views from the hilltop are breathtaking, and the castle itself is impressively preserved. One of the most fascinating parts is that this was once a major Templar stronghold and even the childhood home of King James I of Aragon, who was trained here by the Templars. Walking through the ancient dormitories, chapel, and towers really gives you a sense of how powerful and mysterious this place must have been in its prime. We spent a couple of hours exploring and could’ve stayed even longer. The interpretive center is very informative, and the atmosphere is unique—especially for anyone interested in medieval history, castles, or the legend of the Templars. Highly recommended, especially if you can visit during the annual Homenaje Templario festival. A hidden gem in Aragón that truly brings history to life.

It is one of the best places to watch the race from on this track. You can see the first turn melee and entrance into the second turn. Higher seats grant a visibility (brief) of back straight while lower seats bring you quite close to the action. Would chose these seats again although be warned that there is no sun protection whatsoever and sun pretty vicious there.

Had an amazing time this year (2025) food nice and very reasonably priced, no Pecco sales so a bit disappointed , getting into circuit brilliant however getting out on the Sunday was a complete nightmare from where we parked, no guidance , that was the only down fall.

There for the superbikes. Excellent track with a good range of viewing points. Facilities were ok, but I expected a little better considering the size of the track and location from any main city.

The castle itself has an interesting history. However, it has been partially rebuilt in dubious taste to accommodate a parador. Great panoramic views.

THE CASTLE IS NOT OPEN! Although it says it's open on Google Maps, it wasn't as of 17th March. My wife and I went to visit it and was told by the hotel receptionist that it is closed for restoration work.

Great place to kayak or hike, but sign to park isn't clear, so ensure you have good directions or dependable cell service. Also be aware that kayak start points can vary as far as an hour away and parking ticket required separate from kayak reservation, but we were able to buy at the gate.

Beautiful place even if the water level is very low. You pay only for parking which is great. We took the blue path alongside the gorge and it was one of the most beautiful places i've been to. The path isn't really wide and about half of the path is a little dangerous but it's definitely worth it.

What a beautiful place! There is a very zig-zag route to go up there by car, but besides that, as soon as you get there, you are mesmerised. Make sure to bring your own food and drinks, and take your waste home. There is a small store there, with very friendly staff, but there are not many food/drinks options. Important to note: there are no toilets or water fountains on the walk, make sure to bring enough with you as it can get very hot there. There are no tickets need to get in, but there is a car park ticket that is 8 euros in advance, or 10 euros at the door.

Pretty amazing. In spite of the ‘pretty scary’ video’s and the pre-hike nightmares, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience (at the age of 70 - I mention because it’s not just for the young daredevils as one would think). Unfortunately, the rain was torrential during our drive from Barcelona & didn’t quit until 2pm - and so we didn’t complete as much of the hike as we would have wished (an extra day would have been wise).

At Entrenuvols, our two teenage sons had their first parasailing adventure. It was a wonderful experience. From start (making reservations) to finish (finding an alternate location to launch the flight), we were well looked after by the Entrenuvols staff and pilots. It was quite obvious that the staff of Entrenuvols were very knowledgeable and passionate about parasailing. Because we couldn't reserve via the website, the company responded promptly to emails (in English) and allowed us to make reservations without a deposit. The planned launch site didn't offer good flight conditions on that day so the company drove our entire family to a 2nd (even more beautiful) launch site an hour away (what an adventure!), so that the boys could have their flight. Wonderful people at Entrenuvols who know their business, are concerned about safety and treated our family like guests. Tip: Opt for the photos of the flight - they are delivered to you at the end of the flight on a USB key and are completely worth the small additional charge.

On the edge of the city of Lleida, and known as the "Lung of Lleida" La Mitjana is a great area for walking, cycling, canoeing, going for a family picnic, and birding. A lot of work has gone and still goes into its approximately 100 hectares of gallery woodland, maintaining paths, walkways, footbridges and waterways. It's popular with the inhabitants of Lleida, many of whom walk their dogs there or go jogging or cycling. White and Black Poplar, willow, ash and tamarisk are the main trees and bushes, and together with the river Segre and the canal de Balaguer they attract a good number and variety of interesting birds. Woodpecker, for example, have become well-established, with Wryneck, Greater Spotted, Lesser Spotted and Iberian Green Woodpecker all possible. Then you have Golden Oriole, Common Kingfisher, Penduline Tit, White Stork, Eurasian Hoopoe and more to make a stroll through La MItjana with your binoculars a valid proposal if you are in the city.

If visiting Miravet definitely worthwhile the visit. Most of it is in ruins but still a interesting visit and definitely worth the € 5,- entrance. The walk up is fantastic and very scenic but heavy uphill if one not in good shape or difficulties in walking.

Wonderful views, odd parking guide. There was a guy in the middle of the road denying access with a car saying it's only 12 mins walk (is not). It's a steep hike to the top and there is quite a big parking place next to the castle anyway. We returned later and went with a car which was the better choice to be able to enjoy the castle too. The castle is under renovations so entrance was only 3 euros because not all places were open.

Wow, Miravet Castle is like stepping into a medieval saga perched above the Ebro River! The views from the ramparts are absolutely jaw-dropping think endless rolling hills and the river winding like a silver ribbon below. I paid €5 for the ticket (totally worth it, students get it for €2!), and the climb up the tribute tower’s spiral staircase had my heart racing not just from the effort but those epic panoramas at the top. Insider tip: wear comfy shoes, the cobblestone path from the village is steep and slippery in spots. Oh, and did you know this Templar fortress was once a Moorish stronghold before the Knights transformed it in the 12th century? Save time for the pottery shops in Miravet’s old town they’re a hidden gem!

I loved this town! We drove to the castle, which was nice but not as nice as others in the area. But, the views were incredible! I loved the river going through the town. Our friends drove the car back down, and I went took the easy walking path through the trees. I wouldn't have wanted to walk up it, but down was easy. It empties into the town, and walked down through small streets to the river. The cute mouse house had to be noted! I hear you can kayak in the river but the current looked VERY strong, so I'm not sure it's something I'm able to do. People were swimming close to the shore though. There's a small cafe where you can eat, too. Certainly come check it out!

Highly ridiculous. I knew that prices had risen due to inflation, but the price to enter this castle is a crime. If you are a history lover and you like to see empty castles with only stone, this is an ideal place for you. I expected there to be materials typical of the century in which construction began. Honestly, in my opinion, it's not worth it. The views are not that pretty (although I have to say that when I took the view the day was cloudy). It only took us 20 minutes to see the entire castle. The truth is, I don't understand the people who recommend visiting this place, if you know someone who recommends it, tell them that I pay a visit to the eye doctor, they really need it. We didn't actually go into the castle but out on a Sunday drive we came across this village. It's really quaint and although it was night time it offers great views of the surrounding area. The village is used to having visitors and has a gift shop and cafe. It is part of a circular route which goes through a mini gorge along the river Segre. A great place for walking or cycling.

We did not go in the castle. We did walk around, and there was also a cute little place to eat and grab a coffee (the place was pet friendly).

You do not get anything more authentic than this castle. The hiers of the founders still live here (1209 AD) and they have kept most of the visitable rooms similar as they were in the middle ages. Do not expect spectacular rooms or a trustworthy museum, this visit is about a contemporary noble family castle. The staff is friendly but somehow unorthodox, very charming in my humble opinion.

Jordi and the Divinssi team are true professionals in every sense of the word. Our tour in early November was a real treat! We had the luxury of touring the winery and the fields, with a tasting in the fields. Jordi retrieved us from town and drove us out to the vineyard in his vehicle. We talked and laughed our whole way to the vines. Once in the vineyards he pointed out the different varieties that had gone into each of the four wines we tasted. Our tasting included tasty items from the local villages (incl. ibérico ham, fuet sausage, 2 local cheeses, olives, bread, and the most amazing almonds we have ever eaten). If you are reading this review to the end, then you need to go discover the Priorat wines - and speak with Jordi!

From moment one, Jordi makes you feel welcome. The ‘tasting room’ is the best one yet…..the wines are exclusive and yummy. The view is outstanding. This is truly a unique experience. If Jordi is available (most months of the year), wear sensible shoes & show up! Enjoy.

The setting was stunning — overlooking the vineyard at sunset — and the wines were excellent. Jordy was a great host: friendly, informative, and passionate. We had an amazing tour with Jordi. All was taken care of and the wines and nibbles tasted great. We learned a lot, he really knows how to make it a great experience adjusted to what you know so far about wines. Very recommended!

Our visit to Devinssi Winery was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived at the Pi dels Llops in Gratallops, we were greeted warmly by Jordi, who made us feel right at home. The experience began with a scenic and informative journey through the beautiful vineyards, where Jordi expertly guided us in his van. As we drove through the picturesque landscape, he shared fascinating details about the origins and age of the vines, as well as the unique characteristics of the different plots. It was a truly enriching experience that deepened our appreciation for the winemaking process. After our vineyard tour, we returned to Gratallops to the wine house for the much-anticipated tasting. The food plate, which consisted of locally produced delicacies, was simply delicious and complemented the wines perfectly. We had the pleasure of tasting four wines in total: three outstanding reds—Nas de les Valls, Il Lia, and Rocapoll—and a refreshing mineral white, Diviño. Each wine was unique and showcased the distinct terroir of the region. The visit concluded with a tour of the cellar, where the wines are aged and bottled. We left with some of our favorite wines in hand, feeling grateful for such a memorable experience. Thank you, Jordi, for an unforgettable day!

My daughter and I had the most fabulous day and evening with the Cellar Devinssi! We started out with a tour of their vineyard and cellar. We continued our visit with a wonderful tasting of their fabulous wines! Earlier we had contacted Jordi about staying at their newly finished apartment for the evening and it was wonderful! Everything was clean, great bed, bathroom, and easy walk to a great dinner that evening. We had a great stay and would love to return! If you are looking to stay in the area, this was a magical day and stay that a highly recommend !!

My wife and I visited in June and Jordi took us up for a sunset wine tasting with appetizers. Beautiful views and Jordi highlighted his wines, tasting notes and the history of the local vines. Highly recommend!!

What an amazing place to visit. Rich in history and not well known. The ruins are beautifully preserved. A lot of restoration work is carried out. Entry fee is only 5 euros. The charterhouse was founded in 1194 and Escaladei was the first Carthusian Monastery on the peninsula. I really loved the arch at the entrance, it’s gorgeous. The square with the fountain in the middle is also stunning. If you in the area you should not miss it.

The place is quite far away from anywhere and you must access it through curly mountain roads, yet worth it and recommended if you combine the visit with a wine tasting and lunch in the Scala Dei cellars!

So this place is very out of the way, great if you want to visit somewhere less touristic. Entry fee is €5. The good: The restored cloister, they did a good job on it, it looks well, although parts of it were boarded up which didn't look good. The monk's cell, they restored one of them so you can get an idea of how they lived, you could see the living areas and a small cloister with plants, it was really quiet and I liked imagining how they lived. The bad: A lack of history, there are some information panels but I would have liked some more historical background. It looks a bit like a building site, I wish there were more open spaces open to the public instead of wired fences. Some of the buildings were renovated a bit, basically just a roof, they seemed very bare on the inside, no info, furniture or details. I recommend this place if you are in the area and looking for something to do

We visited Cartoixa d'Escaladei in late January 2023. We were surprised to find tour buses as we'd thought we were the only visitors in the region. There were about hundred or so tourists there. The ruins were much more extensive than I’d realized, and I hadn’t expected the renovation work that was in progress. They had restored some monk cells to give a sense of the monk’s everyday life: cloistered, i.e. no talking. They each had a small garden in which to grow flowers. I liked the desks with a view and the amazing history.

You need a car to get here. During our visit, theres a restoration going on. It was less touristy, so we could really enjoy the place. Hope to come back here again once everything is restored and no construction going on. The visit is still worth it.

Worth the visit- These old ruins were very cool. The drive up was just magical and serene. It’s about €3.50 to enter and you are free to walk around, check it out and take photos. There are informative panels all over explaining what happened to this monastery and showing you where things used to be. Definitely a cool experience and would highly suggest it!

A beautiful place to visit. Easy to find the car park. Scan for an excellent free audio guide at the shop and then an instructive introductory video. The on-site cafe was also a pleasant surprise with fresh pastries. The audio guide gave enough information but not too much. (There was always an option for more detail.) A very pleasant couple of hours but could have easily spent more time.

We accidentally visited the monastery, but were amazed by the beauty and monumental details of this place. We even got to attend a service in the church. Highly recommended!

I took the tour in Spanish and it was excellent. It's only 10€ for a 2hr guided tour and it includes entry to several places that can't be visited otherwise. The guide was very knowledgeable and was genuinely happy to tell us about this beautiful town. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Montblanc!

Beautiful medieval walled city with shops, museums, galleries, and a central plaza full of cafés. Not handicap accessible (which is normal for this type of site) but otherwise a very pleasant visit.

Unfortunately the castle has not survived till the present days, but walls surrounding the town are still in good condition and look great and powerful. It was such a pleasure to walk calm empty streets in working day, where you can hide in shadows from oppressive summer heat.

What a great visit. We went on a Saturday in early May. It was siesta and there weren't many other tourists. We enjoyed a beer and lunch at one of the cafes inside the wall. I think any place you end up will be fine. Stop in the tourist office before you walk around to pick up a map and get answers to any questions you might have. English walking tours are available in high season.
