Araksa

Araxa is located near the Ören village in the Seydikemer district of Muğla. It was a small city but strategically located at the northern entrance of the Xanthos Valley, which hosts the largest cities of western Lycia. Araxa minted coins under its own name as a member of the Lycian League. It was first identified and mentioned by Spratt and Forbes in the modern period. The Lycian name of the city is Araththi. Other than surface surveys, no regular excavation has been carried out. An inscription found in Araxa in 1948 by George Bean, which is dated to the beginning of the 2nd century BCE, provided important information for both Araxa and Lycian history. It is an honorary inscription that describes the services of Orthagoras, one of the notables of the city of Araxa. The inscription indicates that Orthagoras represented Araxa in the Lycian League, and gives information about the wars he participated in and his relations as a representative of Araxa with other cities. This inscription has been an important reference document for determining the date of establishment of the Lycian League. Very few remains have survived from the city of Araxa. There are a few rock-cut tombs of different types and sizes on the left side of the road entering the village. Some of these are house-type tombs imitating wooden houses in the classical Lycian style from the dynastic period. The most striking rock tomb with its temple façade belongs to a later period. There are also the remains of the late Roman period walls at the entrance of the village and one can see various stones of the ancient structures on the walls of the buildings inside the village. The Roman bath, whose walls are still intact and used in accordance with its original function until recently, now serves as a barn.

there are only a few tombs along the road The view is beautiful, but 5-10 minutes is enough to see everything
Kseniia T — Google review
Unfortunately nobody takes care of this place and I don't think there have been any serious excavations around it. So now there are just some ruins next to the road, with no signs to explain anything or to even let you know that this is actually Araxa. I was disappointed. You can understand better what I mean from the pictures.
Alexandru I — Google review
It is not worth getting there 15 Kms off the main road and 15 Kms back as there are nothing but a few Lycian rock tombs filled with loads of rubbish, plastic and alcoholic beverage bottles...so sad...

The road up is a bit steep. If I’d known, I wouldn’t have gone but when I got up there the view and experience was absolutely worth the drive. The tombs are relatively well preserved! The nature is wonderful to walk through. There’s no official path so you climb over rocks randomly in the direction you feel called towards. Bouldering is part of the experience if you want it to be. I highly recommend.

Great historical and religious site! Pinara was home to one of the greatest Christian Orthodox saints Saint Nicholas of Zion who was a bishop in Pinara by the end of his life in the 6th century. He was great miracleworker who healed the sick and expelled many demons from people. There was Greek Orthodox Basilica and churches in Pinara, close to agora and odeon. My goal, as Orthodox Christian, was to pay tribute to this great Christian saint.
Roman Z — Google review
Magnificient and underrated lycinian/greek/roman cities! It's a very long (3h+) hike to see all the sights as they are not bunched up together but well worth it. Very few tourists. I highly recommend the rock tombs on the southwest side, past the single giant boulder rock tomb and the lower acropolis found at the top of the hill
Vadim B — Google review
Like many Lycian cities not much is known about the early history of Pinara. The people of Xanthos were forced by overpopulation to establish a new city on a peak that curves out from Mt Cragos. They called it Pinara, after the Lycian word for “round”. Homer mentions a Lycian archer called Pandarus. This may be the Pandarus honoured in later times in Pinara. The city enters history properly in 334 BC, when it surrendered to Alexander the Great. However, there is no doubt about its importance before that time. It had three votes in the Lycian Leage. After the death of Alexander his empire was divided among the Diadochoi and Pinara came under the rule of Pergamum. When Attalus 3 bequeathed his kingdom to Rome in 133 BC Pinara became a Roman city. In Roman times it enjoyed a considerable degree of prosperity and although badly damaged by earthquakes in 141 AD and 240 AD, was inhabited until 9C. The great red cliff which rises to a height of 500m, never fails to impress. The summit may be reached, with some difficulty, by a path that starts on the south side. The earliest settlement was located on the top, but little of that remains. In more settled times the city was moved to a smaller hill east of the cliff. There is an agora and a small odeon on the northeast side and south sides a number of rock tombs. The theatre with 27 rows of seats was constructed in Greek from. A substantial part of the stage building remains.

Very cool rock tomb city of Pinara! Its up quite a long narrow road but at the top is a car park, then its a small trek to the theatre. I just visited the tombs off the left near the car park. So interesting and atmospheric exploring this place by myself and then discovering some of the carved out rock tombs. Very cool and worth a visit! 🤩
Emmanuel H — Google review
Great antique city! Free entrance! One of the best ways to buildings is just from the parking lot (in mountain direction, see photo) We were walking for around 2 hours
Stanislav A — Google review
A beautifully situated site with a mystical atmosphere in the air. If only the trees and stones could tell their stories. You can truly feel the Lycian history here, dating back 2,000 to 2,500 years. There is a large number of sarcophagi and rock tombs, as well as a stunning amphitheater. From the acropolis, you get a breathtaking view of the Xanthos Valley. It’s truly fascinating—something you need to experience in person to fully appreciate.
Murat K — Google review
We visited mid week in mid Mar 23. It was quite the find - but it is spread out over a large area and so either be prepared to do a lot of walking (wear walking boots, or sturdy trainers) or to drive your car over the rough roads (lots of rocks and very uneven). There is lots of free parking at the entrance (free with Museum Cards- not sure if there any charge if you don't have these). No facilities really - so bring water. You could easily spend a full day here - the changing position of the sun means the photo opportunities are almost endless. The tombs in the cliff face are amazing.

Mountains
Babadağ is a mountain peak with two summits and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and sea. It is a popular destination for paragliders, who launch from its heights to soar above the landscape. Visitors can take a cable car up to 1700m for 80 liras round trip, then walk approximately 15-20 minutes to reach the summit due to an unfinished section of cable car.
The view is just amazing you have to go. You can spend the how day here with food and drink available for there cafes and restaurant go up later afternoon and stay for the sun set it's just something else.

Beautiful place! You can see wonderful view and people who are riding paragliding. If you ride paragliding in Oludeniz, you will begin at here! You have to come even you don’t ride paragliding as it is beautiful place to enjoy nature.
Mothusi — Google review
My experience went very well! 🤩 I really enjoyed it. Although I was scared, the professional tandem pilot was very professional (Yusuf Okudeniz Paragliding). The view was spectacular, and the weather was amazing. ☁️ I had the chance to fly into the clouds, one of my dreams, to touch them. I recommend it; the price is affordable. 💯 I was also taking videos with my Ray-Ban Meta Ai glasses, so it was a fun experience for me

Went up nice and early to avoid crowds and hung around until the top end chairlift started. Amazing views and great watching all the lunatics jumping off the ramp!

Massive over 6,400 feet high. Went up to the first 🥇 level in May 1200m. Went up to the second 🥈 level in October 1700m.

The best view of Oludeniz from above! Also to watch parachutes take off! There is a cable car service available to take to the top of the mountain. There is four stops to the top of the mountain. You can stop at each point and admire the views. There is also different food place at every stop which you can check from their official website. The ticket purchased for the cable car allows you to stop at each point then return back to base. I would strongly advise to NOT drive to the top of the mountain. Unfortunately no one warned us and we took the road instead of the cable car. The road is very dangerous with no rails on the side. The road is not in good condition and broken leading straight off the cliff! Also the minibuses for the parachutes drive at high speed with no consideration for other cars! They make the drive even more dangerous. There also isn’t a place to park your car at the top. You need to leave your car by the side of the road and space isn’t guaranteed at all! It simply isn’t worth taking the risk plus I’m sure you would get better views with the cable cars.
Askin A — Google review
One of the newer facilities in Oludeniz is the cable car system up the mountain. Previously, the only way up was a series of narrow roads and hairpin bends. (You can still use some of these as part of an organised trail run.) Be aware that the car park is about 150 metres away from the main building. There is an electric shuttle bus that runs a regular service between the two. Note that taxis will drop outside the building, but you need to go to the car park to get one back. The ticket office is outside the building, and the entrance just to the side. In the foyer is a diorama of the mountain, and escalators and a lift to the floor where the cable car starts. The actual cable car is in two parts; the first goes to 1500 metres, where you can get out to go to a rather expensive restaurant, or stay on board to go to 1700 metres. Each car is a bubble with amazing all around views, and will carry up to 8 people. At the 1700 metre height, you'll find the first paraglider launch pad; and it looks like the most popular. I estimated between 30 and 50 launches per hour. Some were individuals, but about half were tandems. There is another restaurant at this point, so you can sit in comfort watching the launches. You can carry on up the mountain, using a ski style chair lift. It's easy to use, and there is an operator who keeps an eye on things. At 1800 metres, there is the second launch platform which goes in a different direction. However, it's up a set of stairs or a steep ramp, so not so good for anyone with mobility issues. At this height, there is a Burger House, that overlooks the launch pad at 1700 metres. About 100 metres away, there is the final part of the system, another chair lift that takes you up to the highest part of the mountain and the launch pad at 1900 metres. Views all the way up are astonishing, and well worth the effort of going up. The cost of the cable car is very acceptable; if you're in the area, it's worth making the time to visit.
Anthony S — Google review
The most beautiful mountain peak I have ever seen. Peaks at 2000ft. Looks over Ölüdeniz, Fetihye, and what's looks to be as far as Dalaman, the Agean Sea, Rhodes and Ulyk Tepe. Beautiful at sunset. Beautiful colours that bounce off of the water. There are restraunts and places to get drinks to at the top. The paragliders jump from the top. The views are magnificent and very romantic. A modern cable cart to the top, from the terminal, is 300 TYL per person. I would 100% recommend this visit even if it's one of the only excursions you do while in the area. Can get a bit chilly of you go late or out of season due to the natural elements. There is security who are very helpful and are good at keeping the tourists and attraction safe.

Butterfly Valley is a picturesque destination accessible by boat, featuring a beach, bar/restaurant, and outdoor activities. From June to September, the valley becomes a mesmerizing sight as thousands of butterflies gather to mate. They are drawn by the scent of Oriental Sweetgum trees, an endemic species in Europe. The lush valley offers serene walks among waterfalls and streams while admiring colorful butterflies in their natural habitat.
Amazing view only from the top. Be careful with the kids and the rocks. The drone guys there have unreasonably high prices for a video. Enjoy. Take some pomegranate juice on the top. They are delicious!
Mansour M — Google review
The waterfall was small due to the heat, but the gorge itself is incredibly beautiful. The trail is quite comfortable, although towards the end you do have to climb a bit—it's not too difficult, though. There are indeed butterflies in the gorge, not as many as there used to be, but you can still spot a few. Overall, it’s a lovely place to visit for nature lovers, with stunning views and a pleasant hike!
Kristina T — Google review
I would say it's much better to view this area from above, rather than below. We hiked along the cliffs on the south side and enjoyed fantastic views, met lovely people along the way, enjoyed the nature, spring flowers, interesting paths with rocks and tortoises to negotiate and just a wonderful experience in nature.
Andy J — Google review
This beach has clear water, very big rocks on the sea ground wear water shoes. I was disappointed when we walked the trail to see the butterfly valley in the gorge area. There was hardly any there. The area looks like a nice relaxing, quiet place to stay and camp if one wants. We came in a smaller boat. However, there were large party boats that dropped off people for an hour. The music is extremely loud and it's such a small beach there was no need for that if you want to enjoy the atmosphere.
Kris D — Google review
Very good view but only you can take a look from top (faralya city) or go there by ferry ⛴️
Farid R — Google review
Butterfly Valley (Kelebekler Vadisi), located near Ölüdeniz and Fethiye on Turkey’s turquoise coast, is a stunning natural retreat. Surrounded by steep cliffs, this picturesque valley is accessible by boat or hiking trails. Its serene cove features a mix of sandy and pebble beaches and is renowned for crystal-clear waters ideal for swimming and snorkeling. The valley gets its name from the over 100 species of butterflies that inhabit the area, including the rare Jersey Tiger butterfly, most vibrant from April to June. Visitors can also explore a scenic 60-meter waterfall, hike lush trails, or camp amidst the tranquil beauty. Rustic accommodations like treehouses are available for those seeking an immersive nature experience, while nearby towns offer more luxurious lodging options. Butterfly Valley is a must-visit for nature enthusiasts and adventurers alike.
Birol B — Google review
This place is a hidden gem. We took the water taxi to come see the butterfly valley which cost us 300TL per person return so we could properly enjoy and explore the place without a time schedule. The ticket gives you access to everything including the sunbeds and access to the path to the waterfall (which would normally cost 15TL per person as it’s a natural reserve). It’s an amazing and really beautiful place. The walk up the waterfall is a treck and I recommend good shoes to climb the rocks up the mountain. If you come on tour with the pirate boat, i would advise you stay by the beach because I don’t think you would have enough time to go up the waterfall, enjoy and return. I witnessed people running after their boat because they departed without them. It took us 20-30 minutes to walk up there. The place is very busy in the morning with all the pirate tour boats until 12:30, 13:00 o’clock when they leave. Then it’s quieter with a fair amount of people until 15:00 15:30 in the afternoon when more pirate boats arrive. All and all we really enjoyed our visit. Highly recommend visiting this place if you are in Oludeniz.
Michel B — Google review
Expected it to be more beautiful than this. The view from up is incomparable, much more clearer and quieter. You should definitely see it from up, specially on summer. If you want to see the valley and to take pictures, I suggest you drive up to Faralya, where you will see the valley much better. We arrived afternoon at the valley, and it was so hot, didn't feel any breeze. You can pay 15 TL to walk and see the waterfall, but in the summer there is no water 😂, don't even think about it. The beach is crowded and the shops are overpriced.

Fab water park. Busy, but not too busy. Queues not long waiting at all. Good selection of slides, wave pool. Good small children water slides and area. We were a party of 14, ranging from 6yrs to 58yrs.....all catered for with things to do. Good selection of drinks and snacks available inside. Only down point is ..... NOT allowed to take own drinks or food in (understandably food) but worrying that not even plastic bottled WATER is allowed in, in a hot country!! Other than that fabulous day had by all xx

Great selection of slides and water features. Great to see the complex has life guards to ensure safety . Going in the week easy to get a sun bed with the family. Food area is actually reasonably priced in comparison to the local area around. Definitely worth going and we will be going again.

Came in September. Park was clean, tidy, reasonable entrance fee, cheap food/drink and fun slides. Lots of sunbeds with plenty of shade, 3 tube slides, 4 sit down water slides, wave pool, lazy river, swimming pool and kids area with small slides and lots of water fountains. £1 for a drink. £3-4 for a meal. Also a bungee jump for £50 and inflatanle balls to play in unsure of £. Nice little park.
Andrew H — Google review
Excellent waterpark and managed to get on all the rides now than once without queuing for hours. Surprisingly for a place like this food and drink were very reasonable. Free shuttle bus as well for to sit there and back. The park is in the process of extending, appears to be about half way through, I'm sure to be ready for next summer, will be even better looking at the rides they are building.

First of all it is a good Aquapark, but I found it not accepatable that our bags get controlled. and we have to give away our water... The Entry Fee is arround 12€ incl. transfer to Hotel. All of the big slides expect of one it is not allowed for kids between 0-7 or under 1.20

We love this beach. There are fine pebbles/coarse sand on the beach, and it is really quiet here. The parking lot is under the trees, the water is fantastic, transparent. It is very nice before and during sunset. The entrance fee (per car) is only 120 try.

Went here in late April and the beach was very calm with perfect blue water. Just be careful, the water is very deep after 3-4 meters. Parking was 180 Lira and 2 sunbeds with umbrella was 650 lira. Normal priced
Youssef A — Google review
Absolutely stunning beach, with fabulous light blue sea water and a sandy beach. It’s truly beautiful. We visited at the beginning of July, 2025. There were a lot of people there, but the beach is very big and spacious so it doesn’t feel crowded. Sun-beds are comfortable and umbrellas are big. It costs 750 TL for two sun-beds and an umbrella. Thats a reasonable price. There is a bar and a restaurant there. Prices are also completely fine. The beach has a huge parking area, and a lot of it has shade, which is great. Parking costs 180 TL for the entire day for a car.
Harun T — Google review
I visited this beautiful beach in October, and it was a fantastic experience. The beach was peaceful and not crowded at all, which made for a very relaxing day. The weather was perfect for lounging by the water, with the added bonus of not having to deal with the usual summer crowds. There were also some reasonable options for food and drinks right on the beach, so we didn’t have to go far to enjoy a delicious meal or refreshing drink. Overall, it was the ideal spot for a laid-back day at the beach, and I highly recommend visiting during the off-season.

Amazing beach, great with kids. You can pay for a sunbed or a bigger gazebo type bed. Food served from the cafes was ok too.

my favourite location: beach was not crowded (September), ample parking and food/drinks right there. The perfect setting for beach goers, shadow lovers or for a swim in the ocean.

Beautiful beach! The beach has small pebbles, but I was able to manage without flip flops. Much quieter than the other beach in town. The facilities includes bathrooms, shower, and changing rooms. Beach has a restaurant where you can order food and drinks. You can rent two chairs and one umbrella for 600TL. Parking is only 150TL all day.

Great beach, super large with plenty going on in the area. Water was turquoise and crystal clear! Super beautiful, we went in the beginning of may and it was extremely empty and pretty peaceful.

its a really cool place. but be prepared: it is very crowded, they will charge you multiple times for different things. The sun shades are a bit small, you need to adjust your sun-bed constantly (if you have space of course). it has a locker tho’ which is really handy, but didn’t worked for us, but the staff did a workaround to fix it for us. :) All together we had a blast at the bay, the water is very clear once you pass the shallow water. and if you up for exploring , you can climb the surrounding “mini island” rocks. i wouldn’t miss it!

Beautiful Beach. Love the scenery. It’s pebbly, but the pebbles are smooth. Water is crystal clear. Beach has washrooms. Entrance was 100TL per person. No stamp or receipt to leave and come back. Parking is extra. We had a scooter and just parked it outside the gate for free.

Ölüdeniz – Where Turquoise Waters Meet Tranquility 🇹🇷 Nestled along Türkiye’s stunning southwestern coast, Ölüdeniz is one of the country’s most iconic destinations — and for good reason. The name “Ölüdeniz” translates to “Dead Sea”, referring to its famously calm waters, even during stormy weather. This natural lagoon has been drawing visitors for centuries with its crystal-clear turquoise sea, soft white sands, and breathtaking mountain backdrop. Ölüdeniz lies near the ancient Lycian Way, a historic trail once used by the Lycian civilization. It has long been treasured as a protected national nature reserve, which has helped preserve its unique beauty and biodiversity. - Calm, shallow waters ideal for swimming and relaxing - The Blue Lagoon, a postcard-perfect area great for families - Clean beaches with sun-beds, umbrellas, and changing facilities - A variety of cafés, restaurants, and beachfront bars - Public transportation and parking nearby - Eco-conscious management as it’s part of a protected park - Paragliding from Babadağ Mountain – world-famous views over the sea - Boat trips to Butterfly Valley, St. Nicholas Island, and hidden coves - Snorkelling and scuba diving in crystal waters - Kayaking, paddleboarding, and jet skiing - Hiking along the Lycian Way trail for scenic vistas Ölüdeniz offers everything from luxury resorts and boutique hotels to cozy guesthouses. The atmosphere is laid-back yet vibrant, with nightlife in nearby Hisarönü if you want a livelier evening. Whether you're after adventure or total relaxation, Ölüdeniz delivers it all — wrapped in natural beauty and Turkish hospitality. A must-visit on any trip to the Turquoise Coast!

⭐️⭐️ Ölüdeniz has always been known as one of the most beautiful beaches in Türkiye, and I’ve visited many times over the years. The sea is stunningly crystal clear — but sadly that’s the only thing left I truly love about this place. Prices have gone through the roof, the beach itself isn’t very sandy, and the lack of security is a real problem. There are people walking around taking photos of women without proper control, and one man with a parrot goes around pushing photos on tourists. When I said no, he was extremely rude and even shouted at me because he didn’t understand my answer — which is not my problem. It left a very bad impression. For such a famous destination, it feels poorly managed and not welcoming anymore.

Need to pay for entrance. Need to pay for parking. Very crowded. No space much to set up your towels. Okey to spend 1/2hours but no quiet or comfy.... Shame as nature made it beautiful. But wasted by crowd.

Fantastic day out. 800TL FOR 2 adults and one child aged 9. (£15) including sunbeds and parasols. Very pleasant staff, secure parking limited but managed to park with someone watching the car park. Very reasonable fee for food and drink. Will return later in holiday.
William M — Google review
Found this place last minute and went for the day as other reviews mentioned peace and quiet. The place definitely lived up to that experience. We were greeted on arrival by friendly staff and paid 800TL for parking and two loungers. The place never got crazily busy with plenty of loungers available however, if you are in a car, arrive early as parking is limited. So the location. ..you are directly on the lagoon with lovely soft sand, calm waters and the bathing area only gets to around 1.4m. The fun however was beyond the rope. We went snorkelling and saw 6 turtles!! Other people saw some as well so a fair few around. The lagoon itself only seems to allow pedals and paddle boards so it's really quite safe and I suspect a totally different experience than the main beach. For the food, it all looked good however I think it is tilted to a UK audience. Having said that, we had great salads. Areas for improvement I would say, give the shower block a revamp and provide a shower on the beach.

Reasonable entry prices compared to others. Very nice and clean, staff are attentive and helpful. Beautiful place to spend your day. 👍🏻

Amazing place both at night and at day would highly recommend the bbq night on the beach good food with different acts such as belly dancers acrobats singer and fireshow.
Joshua B — Google review
This place is great. Lovely sand and beautiful water. Nice and clean. Restaurant had good food. Would definitely come back. The lagoon is beautiful great for swimming and the kids hired a pedalo which was great to dive off and swim in the calmest sea water I’ve ever been. Beautiful colours of the water.
Jon A — Google review
Barbecue night tonight was great , plenty of freshly cooked food all delicious and topped up regularly. Drinks were average price and all staff are very attentive and happy to help with anything. Acts include acrobatics , singer , contortionist, magician , light show and the traditional Belly dancer who was very good indeed. Return buses left every half hour should you wish to leave early which might suit people with younger kids. All in all a very entertaining night for a very reasonable charge. Would recommend to anyone

Nice Beach area Cafe good menus good prices . Ask hotel reception to contact Billy’s and they will pick you up . Stay as long as you want bus back to resort every hour. 400 Tl per person, includes sun bed brolly and entrance into Blue lagoon national park, great day out shallow sea easy access and egress.
Jeff B — Google review
Absolutely love the place, I rented a pedalo seen some sea turtles 🐢 . Its 75 🇹🇷 lira to get in but u get access to everything and a sunbed and parasol. They have a big restaurant with a massive choice of food, free WiFi and the drinks are quite strong. 5* all day long. The service and staff was brilliant.

Fethiye Bay is a paradise for boating enthusiasts, with its stunning aquamarine waters and uncrowded bays offering a serene sailing experience. The Fethiye Central Fish Market, also known as Balık Pazarı - Mengi, is a bustling hub where local fishers sell their catch of the day. Visitors can purchase seafood from the round fish counter and have it cooked at nearby restaurants.
Amazing place , delicious, fresh from the sea fish and seafood ( you buy in the middle of the market fish of your choice plus as much seafood as you want and the restaurant cooks it for you) it’s the best food I have ever eaten. We go to Fethye every year especially to experience the fish market atmosphere and food. If you lucky there might be also some Turkish live music. Highly recommended.
Malgorzata C — Google review
It's a small area where you are approached by various people trying to pull you to their restaurant. The idea is to buy the type of sea food you like and then have a restaurant cook it for you they way you prefer. The restaurant charges you for cooking your sea food plus upsells you their side dishes.
A J — Google review
The second you walk close to the market you’ll be hounded by someone trying to drag you to their fish counter and sell you a fish, or a restaurant trying to get you to eat their food. As you would expect the area smells of fish, which is expected, but I don’t want to sit and eat my meal right next to this. Walk through the small market, look at the fish, ignore the people hassling you (or politely say no thanks) and walk on, job done.
Lee S — Google review
Always come here when I'm in the area. You choose and pay for what fresh fish you want, take it to a surrounding restaurant and they cook it for you exactly how you desire with the added extras for a nominal fee. Fantastic fresh food!
Michael F — Google review
Be aware of this shop with the number 612280. They’ll show you the fresh seafood, big, and alive but once you not paying attention they’ll use the dead seafood that’s been 3-4days dead. Especially the crab, oysters, mussels,….Many Restaurants are no longer allowed to bring seafood from the shop for cooking. So if you would like to take away the seafood, PLEASE DO NOT LET THEM CLEAN THE CRAB, MUSSELS, OYSTER,..etc (you can wash them yourself with water, vinegar,…) once they start to clean they will switch to the dead and you cant tell. BUT IF THEY CLEAN THE FISH, ITS OKAY. BE CAREFUL AND PAY ATTENTION TO HAVE THE BEST EXPERIENCE AND FRESH SEAFOOD.
Kim E — Google review
If you’re exploring Fethiye and want to try local food with a traditional touch, this place should definitely be on your list. For me, it was one of the best experiences!
Mohammed S — Google review
A bit of a tourist trap. Very hectic and pushy restaurant owners trying very hard to get you to sit at their restaurant. The food is ok, but the fish prices have to be negotiated which is a bit of a pain. There is a strong fishy smell everywhere (it is a fish market, so it’s not surprising) which isn’t the greatest while eating. It’s also quite pricey especially considering the quality was ok at best. Interesting experience, but not a must in my opinion. There are much better places to eat fresh fish in Fethiye. Also the octopus was not good.
Paul O — Google review
A colorful and flavorful place! The atmosphere is great, and the fish was fresh — but be careful with prices, as we ended up paying more than expected. The food itself was tasty but quite ordinary in preparation.

Excellent location and host. The apartments are very spacious and exactly in the centre. The host is a great person, very welcome and very helpful. We go there every year

This place was disgusting. The bathroom smelled strongly of urine, worse than a public bathroom, I had to hold my breathe inside. It was a filthy concrete floor that had not been washed. The shower head was broken and would not connect to the wall. All the rooms were dirty, including the bedroom. The wifi password on the wall did not work, and when messaging the host for the correct password he did not reply, even though we later saw him downstairs hanging out with a friend. The bedsheets were clean, the place was spacious, and the location was good - but unless you want to stay in filth, do not come here.
Rhys G — Google review
Great location with lots of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. The street is not too noisy though. Fethiye Harbour is also very close being a 5 min walk. About an hour from Dalaman airport. Ideal for short or longer term stays. Our studio room consisted of lounge /diner, kitchenette, large bedroom, shower room. WiFi & air con are included in the price. There are no lifts in the building so not suitable for wheelchair users.
Sue C — Google review
Cheap so that’s great! But I’d rather pay more money for comfort! The room had mould encrusted around it, there was lack of lighting, there was a random mattress on the floor folded over in front of the tv to resemble a sofa. The floors was black with dirt! There were cob webs on the walls, warnings of cleaning fees on the notice board yet the place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The water was freezing cold. The only positive was that it was in a good location but the place looked like a slum!

Lovely beach, pretty long, nice for a walk. I spent 6 weeks there next to the beach in December 2024 and January 2025 and liked it. It's partly dark sand, the rest are stones. Usually clean. Mountain view in the background and islands around were a bonus. Nice for sunsets. Many locals go there with chairs and tables and eat and drink. Some parts of the beach were quiet, mostly on week days, but it got too busy on weekends and in the afternoona in general. As an introvert, I would not enjoy the Calis beach in summer when it gets overcrowded. In winter it was still fine for me on weekdays. What I did not enjoy: way too many people smoking on the beach, they do not care at all if there's any non-smokers around (for a lifelong non-smoker, it was disgusting to me). And also many locals were fishing there, jus anywhere among other people who went there for a swim (yes, I did go for a swim even in winter when the water was not very warm but that's why I was staying next to the beach) and it was bothering having to check the fishing sticks and lines all around me. It's very inconsiderate that the fishermen do not stick to the end of the beach in order not to disturb other people who are not on the beach for fishing.

As someone who has spent her entire life in Fethiye—from birth through childhood and high school—I’d like to share a few thoughts about Çalış Beach (Çalış Plajı). Let me say this upfront: the water at Çalış isn’t the cleanest or most pristine you’ll find. That’s a fact anyone can figure out, whether they’re visiting for the first time or have lived here for years. But the real charm of Çalış isn’t in its water quality—it’s in the experience. Çalış is one of those rare beaches where you can walk barefoot on soft sand, where the shore doesn’t feel like it’s fenced off or commercialized with a cordon or barrier. You’re not forced to pay high entrance fees, buy overpriced drinks, or reserve a sunbed just to enjoy the sea. There’s a quiet kind of justice in that. You can just be. The view here is stunning, especially at sunset—one of the best in all of Fethiye. You can grab a cold beer from a nearby bakkal, walk down to the beach, and enjoy it with your loved ones without bothering anyone. It’s that simple. That free. You can walk, breathe, watch the Knight Island across the bay, and feel like you’re in a space that welcomes you as you are. There are wonderful restaurants around too—especially fish restaurants—and the pubs feel just right for Fethiye. The atmosphere is unpretentious, friendly, and open. Çalış offers a kind of democratic beauty—natural and social—that makes the friendships and memories you form here feel extra special and lasting. That said, I also want to offer a sincere warning. The water here may look calm and inviting, but it can get surprisingly deep after just a few steps. I say this as someone who nearly drowned here as a child, despite being a strong swimmer today. If you don’t know how to swim, don’t go in alone. It’s deceptive. The sea bottom drops quickly, and before you know it, you’re in over your head. There’s also a fair amount of underwater moss, which might feel unpleasant or slippery. So please—enjoy Çalış, but do so with care. Let yourself go with the flow, but not without a sense of awareness and respect for the sea.

Lovely laid back resort, flatter then near by resorts so easy to get out and about. Lots of great bars and restaurants not as busy as Hisaronu, oludeniz but if you like a more laid back atmosphere then this is for you. Some amazing views and sun sets along the front, have visited many times and will definitely return.

Four of us went up to this park on Saturday 23/09/23 , we went on two scooters and were charged 80tl for parking. We were terrified crossing the pallet wood rope bridge , which is very shoddily constructed. The whole place looks filthy . Restaurant is just asking for food poisoning in my opinion. Sanitary is very bad . If I could give negative stars - 2 . Do not waste your time on this place .

I live in the Netherlands, and traveling for 3.400 km with my family in our car was to look for the best unique unforgettable places. The location here is fantastic, a great getaway deep in the valley with fresh water surfaces to walk through safely, but the people who are running the place are a bit far from professional work, asking very high prices for mediocre dishes, and trying to make it feel like westen style but so far from any western or eastern! this place lost it’s identity for a lost staff

Fantastic place with wonderful nature. This is one of the uniqueu camping sites that I ever seen. Although the nature is awesome, the facility is not clean and you can see garbage everywhere. The sea and beach are beautiful. In windy weather, waste can come with the current. Food and beverage prices are reasonable. 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella 300 TL, vehicle entrance 100 TL

A very pretty little bay with a few sailing ships and fishing boats. The sand is dark volcanic which is a surprise. There are a few walks from the bay around the coast and into the forest for views over towards Gocek. There are a lot of people camping or with camper vans by the beach edge. The toilets and cafe are closed because of the dispute between the local council and others. But there was very little litter when I visited in mid September. A quiet place to hide away and chill out
Rog E — Google review
One of the very few beaches in Turkey that remains public.l ve seen this place during peak Summer season, during religious festival(if u don't like meat dont go there that time) and now off season. During the summer it gets super packed with locals that bring large cooking grills, çay kettles, food, drinks. Large carpets sun umbrellas, chairs, beach toys clutter beach. Bikinis are ok but you will be minority here. Public showers even with signs not to use shampoo are used like outdoor Turkish bath, suds run directly to the sea. Public WC ok. Next big problem is trash around them. No matter how many trash bins are provided rubbish ends up everywhere, sadly in sea. People are horrible creatures, turkish ppl need big time help to understand importance to care about our environment! Near by camping site is the worst. Its seems nobody cares about trash . Especially plastic bottles and cigarette buts covering beach after weekend, beer bottles by dozens. Parking is free but boy do people abuse it. Besides... This beach is absolute gem of nature, home to endangered sea turtles(seen them few times). Nice snorkeling.

The beach was fine but the views on the road to get there almost earned it 5 stars. There is water sports and people available to take you out on a boat. Worth the long village road! Simply stunning in the middle of nature! The river passes through the place and adds an incredibly beautiful atmosphere. The food was very delicious, too. We had Sac Tava, French Fries and fried veggies topped with yoghurt. All the ingredients were so fresh and organic. Prices are very reasonable. We spent 600TL for two. There’s a free parking lot. Amazing beach, very soft sand. Entrance to the beach is so easy, water is shallow, you don’t need any slippers as the sand is so so soft! It’s a bit windy hence lots of waves You need to pay 20 liras to enter this beach on foot and more if you come by car. However, I take 1 star off because there is no place to eat. 1 cafe only sells drinks, burgers and guzleme. I really wanted to each Turkish breakfast and had to walk back to the town centre to eat because there is no choice on this beach. People come with their own food and can sit in the shade, there are plenty of tables and chairs so please do bring your own food. Drinks you can buy at the cafe. I went to this beach as I had 9 hours connection flight and it took about 20 mins by taxi from the airport and 700liras (not cheap, but you won’t find any other alternative vehicle to get to the beach)

We booked the 12 Islands boat trip in Sarigerme with Panda Tours because the lady there was much nicer than other companies on the main road. Anytime we passed from there she waved at us. The boat trip was very relaxing and a great conversation about history and sea life with Captain Adnan who made it more enjoyable and the gentleman in the boat made us a very tasty, delicious lunch. We couldn't ask for any better so if you think to book a boat trip definitely you should book it with Panda. 🌟 🌟 HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT 🌟 🌟 Çok teşekkür ederim Captain😊 Tina and Ivi

We booked this tour after a few days of really poor weather. The sun and sea was exactly what we needed. It was unusually windy so we did a slightly adapted tour, but our captain took us to some beautiful sheltered bays. We had 4 stops, and each one was stunning. We saw fish and I did a spot of snorkeling. The sea this time of year is cool (17-20°c), but still warm enough for me to get in at each stop and have a swim around the boat. The food was simple, but very tasty, and there was plenty to go around. We had fried chicken, salad and a meze too! Drinks seemed fairly affordable, but we'd brought our own. Talking of affordable: we paid Panda Tours directly, and that was definitely the most affordable option. Our captain and chef were lovely, and professional. A great way to spend a day out! Thank you Panda Tours!

Amazing tour! The staff were so attentive, the grilled fish, burgers and Turkish mezze were amazing. The boat was comfortable and the locations we visited were out this world! Highly recommended!

We did the 12 island tour. Fantastic. Great captain who was very welcoming. All the staff were brilliant. Food was great. Great value for money. If you go to Sarigerme, book with Panda. They go the extra mile. Best boat trip we’ve ever done. Get a pancake from the boat shop at the first stop. Such a treat 😍

Booked at Sarigerme direct with Panda Tours for the 12 Island Boat tour and it was the highlight of our holiday. Very well organised, lovely Captain and crew even stopped at at special bay so I could have a paddle! Food was delicious and drinks really reasonably priced. My Son loved jumping off the top of the boat and snorkeling in the beautiful sea. Fantastic day and would highly recommend the trip and Panda Tours.

We went with Panda tours on the 12 island boat tour. We had a lovely day. It was just £15 per adult and half that for children and cost twice that in resort. Lunch is included and cooked on the boat, we were told it would be a simple meal but it was delicious, both my boys had second helpings. Drinks are extra but are reasonable. It was a lovely relaxing day and Adnan was brilliant he knew so much about the coves and islands we visited. Would definitley book again and rocommend for others.

Very good tour and friendly staff. We booked from Sarigerme and were really happy with the experience. We were looking for a smaller boat and we found exactly what we needed as the tour was relaxing with enough time to swim and snorkel.

We did the turtle island trip (family of 4, with a 2 year old and 3 month old). It was a lovely tour with a good amount of time on the beach and at the mud baths. The included lunch was very tasty and exceeded our expectations. Very good value for the tour. There was a small group which facilitated communication between guests. The guide was really helpful in helping us getting on and off boat and very friendly. She spent time chatting with my 2 year old and made him feel special. Despite seeing turtles and enjoying the boat trip my 2 year olds favourite thing of the day was ‘the lady’. Exceptional friendly customer service - highly recommend!

Brilliant tour, really interesting, relaxing and beautiful. Our guides were fantastic and kept us all amused. There were refreshments available onboard and the meal was delicious. We had a little music on the way home and had a little bellydance on the boat.

If you're visiting Sarigerme I urge you to visit these guys and book some unforgettable excursions. Either pop into their shop in Sarigerme Town centre or message them directly via Facebook page, either way will be easy to book your amazing day out. We have just returned from a 10 day stay at Tui Blue and if it wasn't for this place organising three incredible days out our holiday would have been mediocre at best. The Eco Safari Jeep Excursion was definitely our favourite, trust me when I say you'll not be dissapointed on what's to offer on this day out. Thank you Basket Travel, you have given us memories that will last a life time 💙

We used Basket Travel after a friends recommendation to do the turtle beach / mud bath tour. Our tour guide Kareem (like Benzema) was brilliant, very funny, very knowledgeable and made the trip very enjoyable. He clearly loves what he does and got excited like a big kid when the Loggerhead Turtles appeared, everyone bought in to his excitement and he really made the day fun. The restaurant where we stopped for lunch was very good, food was really nice. The mud baths were great fun. Basket Travel were keenly priced, the coach was VERY comfortable with luxury seats, tinted windows and air con throughout. Would defo recommend them.

We are currently on our 5th trip to Turkey. This is our first trip to the Dalaman Region, so we were keen to experience some of the local beauty spots and soak up some history at the same time. We researched before booking and ended up booking the 12 Island Tour and Dalyan River Cruise with mud baths and Turtle Beach. Both tours were fantastic. Our guide for 12 Islands was Kylian (sorry if this isn’t correct - I just remember him saying he shared a similar name to Mbappe!). Our guide for Dalyan Tour was Dodo. Both guides were informative, friendly and helpful. I love history, so the time taken by both of them to provide history and information on spots visited. The boats were comfortable, with shade and sun. We loved both trips and would thoroughly recommend. We did travel with our 4 children (all 11 and under) so it was appreciated that these trips weren’t made to feel for adults or older children only. Special shout out to our boat driver for letting the kids “drive” the boat on the Dalyan River. We made some unforgettable memories and would highly recommend both tours. One thing I would say is don’t buy the “crab” to feed the turtles on the turtle trip. It’s £10 per box and there are signs at turtle beach telling you not to feed the turtles! Felt that was a bit of money making in the end. We also got left short with cash on the Dalyan trip as the restaurant told us they needed us to pay cash for our drinks only . It turns out we could have paid by card. Don’t like feeling we are being taken a loan of by people but these two things we were not happy with. Perhaps Basket can take these on board for future.

A Memorable Day Exploring the 12 Islands I recently embarked on the 12 Island Boat Trip with Basket Travel, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. Let me share the highlights: Kerim, Our Exceptional Host: Kerim, our tour guide, was a wealth of knowledge. His passion for the islands and local history made the trip even more fascinating. He shared intriguing facts and stories, enhancing our understanding of the beautiful surroundings. Ali, the Skilled Driver: Ali, our driver, ensured a smooth journey from start to finish. His expertise behind the wheel made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the trip. Kudos to Ali for navigating the winding roads with ease! Immaculate Coach with Basket Travel Branding: The coach provided by Basket Travel was spotless and well-maintained. The company’s branding was proudly displayed, assuring us of their commitment to quality service. Comfortable seating and air conditioning added to the overall experience. The Boat Adventure: The boat itself was part of the Basket Travel group, and it didn’t disappoint. We explored crystal-clear waters, stopping at picturesque bays for swimming. Snorkeling gear was available, allowing us to discover the underwater beauty. Jumping off the boat into the sea was exhilarating! Convenient Payment System: Basket Travel’s approach to paying for extras was brilliant. They provided a charge card tab, allowing us to enjoy snacks and drinks without worrying about cash. Settling the tab at the end of the trip—whether in cash or by card—was hassle-free. In summary, Basket Travel exceeded expectations. Their attention to detail, friendly staff, and commitment to customer satisfaction made this day trip truly special. I highly recommend the 12 Island Boat Trip—it’s a must-do when in the area! 🌊🚢

Very affordable especially if you pre-book before holiday. They have got extremely friendly, knowledgeable and comedic tour guides. Definetely the best people to go with if you want to experience Turkey outside the walls of the hotel. Done all the trips they offer with family including a younger sibling who enjoyed them too. I can't fault the service at all.

When at Iztuzu beach, you must visit the Turtle Hospital, they are doing great work to raise awareness of the consequences of pollution in our seas and the impact of turtles. Also impressive to see how the beach is marked out to protect the area where the turtles lay their eggs. Entry is free, but a donation to the cost of upkeep is encouraged.

If you happen to be around the area (say in Dalyan), do take the dolmus (or your own car), and pay the Iztuzu beach a visit. The road is very scenic, and at the end of it, you will find exceptional natural and human beauties. Natural beauty is the beach itself, and human beauty is the Captain June, and the people who work at the Turtle Hospital next to her hut. You will hear about admirable human efforts to protect the nature from ... other human.

Very nice, spacious and clean sandy beach. Water is crystal clear and it's shallow for like 20 meters. The only downside was the parasols; they're rather small and don't have great coverage. However the beach is pretty cheap -100 TL for a couple of beds and a parasol - so it's definitely worth it.

Great beach with cafe , toilets, changing etc. entrance is 200TL for the car and 350TL for 2 sunbeds .
Matthew B — Google review
This is our first trip to İztuzu Beach by car, and the journey is quite long. The breathtaking views on the drive to the beach make it worthwhile. The parking lot costs ₺200, and payment is required upon entry. They also provide changing rooms and restrooms. There is a restaurant and tanning area where you can pay ₺165 per person or ₺350 for two wooden sun loungers, or choose a free one on the sand. The beach was extremely crowded. The only thing you have to do when you go swimming in the sea, all you have to do is walk far enough until the water is deep enough. İztuzu Beach is absolutely stunning; unfortunately, we did not get to see any turtles, but we had an enjoyable time. I recommend it purely for the experience.
Inga — Google review
İztuzu Plajı is one of the most beautiful and unique beaches in Turkey. The sand is golden, the water is shallow and warm, and the scenery is amazing with mountains on one side and the river delta on the other. What makes it special is that it’s also a protected nesting area for Caretta Caretta turtles, so it feels like you’re visiting both a beach and a natural reserve. There are no big hotels or loud music, which keeps it peaceful. Best to bring your own snacks and water, and respect the turtle areas. Truly a natural paradise!

One of my favourite in Turkey. Perfectly clean, wise, and beautiful. Dalyan in general is a magic place for a vacation. You can get there by the boat, or by the bus service. It takes around 30 minutes, both ways are enjoyable though, views etc. A lot of empty space, if you walk a little far from the sun lounges. Sandy clean beach, warm clean sea, perfect
Шампан С — Google review
I liked this beach a lot. The fee is not that much (2€ per car, no matter how many people are inside it), there are public toilets and showers (with cold, salty water) and the beach is clean. The water doesn't get deep enough for swimming for more than 50meters which makes it ideally for kids. You can also visit the Turtle Hospital (which is located close to the entrance). There is also shadow under some pine trees, but if you arrive after 10am most probably you will find it already occupied. At times it gets very windy. The restaurant inside has reasonable prices.

The Caunos Tombs of the Kings offer stunning views from Dalyan and boat tours in the lagoon. To get a closer look, visitors can cross to the Candir side and take a short walk or use a tractor in summer. Despite arriving to find it closed, some travelers were allowed in by the gatekeeper, giving them exclusive access to explore the site. The tombs themselves are off-limits but can be admired from the boardwalk.
Here's a refined version of your sentence: It's impressive to see how, in ancient times, they honored their king by building these tombs. I enjoyed sitting next to them, reflecting on how people back then made the decision to construct such monuments and their purpose. It's a must-see place. Next time, I plan to spend more time exploring further.

Every time we visit Dalyan we always hop along the river to visit Caunos/Kaunos to see for ourselves what secrets have been revealed again. If you go prepare for a walk of half an hour (max). It's a nice walk and people along the road sell fresh orange juice/honey/olives and pome granate for a fair price. Enjoy!

You can access the entrance either with ferry departing from Dalyan(if you dont have a car, you can walk 15minutes once you land on the other side) or riding via çandır road. No visitor, no park guy was there when we visited but actually this is a Museum Card zone. Incredibly beatiful, a must visit place

Beautiful place to visit and take pictures. Pictures taken from the canal as we went via an excursion we booked. Beautiful to see and how well it has preserved
Tiffany J — Google review
Without a doubt, when Caunos is in question, most people and historians think about the Tombs of the Kings. These tombs belong to the real kinds of Caunos nation, and they are carved into a mountain. In their belief, the dead should be buried and the higher the location of the tomb of the buried, the closer the person could be to the gods. This is why, all these tombs are carved on the top of the mountains, which is almost impossible to climb today. You can enjoy the beautiful and breathtaking scenery of these Tombs of the Kings, which were carved during the 4th century BC. Keep in mind that you can find plenty of beautiful holiday villas to stay in the area by visiting our homepage right now!

Dalyan Strait, also known as Dalyan Canal, is a picturesque waterway in the Mugla province of Turkey. The 10 km long canal connects Koycegiz Lake to the sea and meanders through the Dalyan Delta. Visitors can stroll along a wooden promenade on the eastern bank, where the town of Dalyan comes alive with a lively atmosphere.
Dalyan canal, (Dalyan Strait) , is a stream that carries the waters of Köyceğiz Lake to the sea , located in the province of Muğla , and is the lake's conduit . Its length is 10 km. The waters coming out of the lake reach the sea by drawing meanders. Approximately the last 5 km of Dalyan flows within the Dalyan Delta. To the east of the Dalyan canal, the town of Dalyan in the Ortaca district is established. The area is within the borders of the Köyceğiz-Dalyan Special Environmental Protection Area , which was the first in Turkey in 1988.

Kaunos Ancient City is a fascinating archaeological site located in Dalyan, Turkey. The city features various structures and impressive tombs carved into the mountainside. Visitors staying at the nearby hotel can enjoy stunning views of the Calbis River, Antique Kaunos City, and Lycian King Tombs. The town of Dalyan offers a charming atmosphere with riverside restaurants serving delicious fish dishes and small bars for enjoying Turkish coffee.
Absolutely amazing ancient ruins. Quite a hike from one plateau to another but worth it. The boat across was 100TL for two people return. And the pancakes at the cafe on that side were amazing. Well worth a visit. If you go into the cemetery and walk straight on, then take a little turn right at the fence you can get a closer look at the rock tombs.

An amazing relic of the past. I'd like to give everyone a little information here. There is no need to get a boat trip to visit this place. Walk along the front in the direction of the sea. (Left). You will see a restaurant on the other side. There is a row boat service to take you to over. The cost is insignificant. You will see a single road on the other side. Simply walk along it for approximately 20 minutes and you will arrive at Caunos. You can not miss it. It's an easy walk for most people. You do have to get in and out of the boat, obviously but you will be helped. These are pictures of the crossing point.

Well worth a visit to the extensive ruins. Took the car ferry as foot passengers from river by Hotel Portleva. Fare 20 lira each way (cash). Then 15 minutes easy walk on a road. Entry fee 140 lira each again cash only. Visited from 4pm on 1 October and only a very few people were there. The amphitheatre is being renovated but still accessible. The lower level by the river is river is accessible by an ancient paved path which is uneven in places -saw a few big lizards. It’s possible to cross the river by row boat from the town centre but this means a longer walk on the other side.

Kaunos is a must see if you’re in the area! So much amazing history to see and gorgeous views over the water! Remember to bring water as it’s HOT up there… they have opened a little cafe to grab a drink too.
Kylee K — Google review
Kaunos is an ancient city located in the province of Muğla, Turkey, near the modern town of Dalyan. Once a strategically important port city, it is now situated several kilometers inland due to the silting of its harbor over centuries. The city is on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List and is known for its unique blend of Carian, Lycian, Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine influences. There is quite a lot of restoration work but it doesn't detract from what you see. There are bilingual signs outlining what each structure is and it's history. All in all, it's like the entertainment quarter for the ancient inhabitants of this area. Entry is 150 Turkish Lira payable at the top. The walk up is very dusty and hot. I recommend good walking shoes, a hat and water.
Jodie E — Google review
4th visit. This time I decided to walk to the highest point where the castellations are. It was a difficult ascent which took about 30 min's beyond the ampitheatre. Don't think I'd do that walk again but if you're up for a challenge go for it. The views are panoramic once at the top

This place is not for you if you are frail, squeamish or worry about health and safety. The mud smells of suplhur and the pools don't look clean, however it's a beautiful spot in nature and very therapeutic. After covering yourself with mud you wash it off then soak in the thermal waters. My skin felt amazing afterwards and a refreshing swim in the lake (in march) was just perfect. You can get here on the water taxi from Dalyan or drive over on the ferry which takes 3 cars at a time. The entrance was 60tl each.
Zsuzsa M — Google review
Cool experience, probably one in a lifetime (and costs only 30 lira + 200 for a foot spa). Stinky mud bath, but hey, my inner pig was happy, hot thermal pool, nice restaurant with beautiful view, possibility to swim in a lake - what else do you need on a lake day out? (maybe a life guard by the lake). I would happily go back.
Ola Z — Google review
I came here with my partner on the Turtle Beach trip. My partner got very sick after the mud bath and pools. Throwing up and very bad diarrhea. Then the following day I had the same. The pool water is absolutely disgusting. If you want to stay well I'd advise you just stay on the boat. Such a shame cause the boat right was very beautiful.
Rebekah B — Google review
This is a very basic hot spring site dating back to Roman times. There are options for both hot and warm pools, and while the sulfur smell is strong, that’s normal and part of the supposed health benefits. There’s also a lake where you can swim, plus mud baths with showers available afterwards. Facilities are minimal – a small kiosk selling cheap drinks and beer, a simple restaurant, and some parking (free if you visit in the quieter season). The place could really benefit from investment and modernization, as the health and safety standards are almost nonexistent. Overall, interesting for the history and natural springs, but don’t expect comfort or proper facilities. Enter fee 50 lira = £1.00
Mac F — Google review
The place has a really good vibe, very cheap and friendly. The mud bath was really unique, and it is nice that there is thermal water and a lake. In the restaurant you can pay by card.
Viki C — Google review
Wonderful skin treatment, fantastic views. Worth the try, you won’t regret. Just get into that mud bath although the smell is a bit annoying. The hot pools are also very healing but don’t stay more than 15 minutes. Fish skin therapy is good for your blood circulation. Enjoy refreshments before you leave. Parking is a bit tight. Entrance fee is bargain. Only 20TL per person. Don’t forget to rehydrate your body skin before sleeping.

We stayed here in our motorhome off season. It was 200TL which included toilets, which I also used for black water disposal. The baths are very warm, but be careful the sulphur can sting. Don't wear silver as well. It will tarnish

Very unique place indeed. Entry fee is 30tl. Go at night time in summer as it can be very hot. Mud bath is fun to go in. The water is very healing with rich minerals. Don’t let the smell put you off as the minerals in the water causes it. There is also a restaurant to eat in. You can hire a lodge and dressing rooms are available to use.
