An amazing beach that offers you fine sand, clear water and the best view you can have. We went with our beach towels and it was crowded. We hunted the spots so we can stay. I suggest to come in the morning to catch good spots because the beach is a little one.

The water was crystal clear, one of the best we've ever been in. It's a truly wonderful experience, especially if you walk a bit further down the beach. Compared to the first section, it wasn't very crowded, and even where we rented sun loungers, no one was swimming. Because we arrived in September, two sun loungers and an umbrella at the front cost 30 euros. Kayak is also available for rent in the section where we stayed, and you can go kayak for an hour for 25 euros.

Amazing sea… You have to come here! You can park your car nearby the way for free, then walk 10-15 minutes. The cheapest sunbeds are €40 in September, but there are also free areas. If you don’t have an umbrella, just find a tree for shade and enjoy this amazing sea all day long.

We enjoy this beach. It is on the smaller side paying parking lot walking distance. We were here before the summer not as crowded. Beautiful clear water, there is a beach club walking distance for drinks food and more $$$-$$$$. If you need to use the restroom they do charge $1 Euro for to use it unless you eat at the drink bar or rent the lounge and umbrellas. This beach is good for couples, somewhat families with older children. The only downside the constant annoyance of beach sellers.

Amazing water for snorkeling and swimming; gets busy and crowded very quickly. The Best time is early morning. Parking is not too big, so if you come after 9.30, you might not find a car parking space. There is a small beach on the left hand side and two beaches on the opposite side. The beach is stunning itself, but be aware that it is tiny, has no public toilets or showers, and has a barely alive food and drinks track—definitely not worth the time and climbing effort to get there. Parking is available for a fee, some free spots by the road

The beach is nice - it’s really beautiful with turquoise water, the sand is white and soft and clean. It takes around 10 mins of easy walk from the parking. Alternatively, a tuk tuk service is available but no reason to use it unless you have trouble moving around. This beach gets really crowded though so the best time to visit is early morning or late in the evening. Parking is likely also problematic in the peak hours. The swimming area is pretty wide but the large part of is it really shallow. There were also a bunch of seagulls which was not so nice. Water was on the colder side at the end of August. Overall I can recommend this one, it’s one of those more popular ones due to the easier access and not an exceptional gem but it’s still good and beautiful.

Spiaggia Poltu Di Li Cogghj is beautiful! There’s parking available, and it’s about a 10–15 minute hike to get there. It does get crowded, but the crystal-clear water makes it worth it. There are also people walking around selling hats and towels on the beach, which I personally found a bit annoying.

There's also an amazing view of the cliffs and Sardinia! Bonifacio is a beautiful town and there are several unspoiled beaches that can be reached by private car.

Bonifacio and also the whole south of Corsica are to be seen and experienced in every way. We chose the right place to do it because our holiday in the apartment "Faro di Capo Testa" in the fantastic Bonifacio was just as we wished. The apartment is a tastefully decorated jewel in an extraordinary location in the old downtown of Bonifacio and very well located to reach the key points, restaurants and shops of the town. Although the streets are always full of days and nights, the apartment is very quiet and we really got a good rest each day. A small balcony, overlooking a small square, invites you to have an aperitif in the open air watching the people passing by and admiring the white cliffs located exactly in front of the apartment. The landscape from this point is simply breathtaking and one the best of the town. The cleanliness of the apartment deserves a good 10. Absolutely stunning beach , the water is crystal clear and the backdrop of tees around the bay is glorious. Some fabulous beaches bars too. We recommend La Plage and Le Fort. The downside is it gets super busy in peak season. If you have to go in August go early morning, if you are lucky enough to go late September, you will be in paradise !

The beach consists of a long narrow strip of fine clean sand (between 10m and 30m in width), skirting a bay of very shallow clear water which extends at least 50 m from the shoreline. The setting is hardly spectacular but the peninsula making up the South side of the bay provides a pretty backdrop. On a fine sunny weekday afternoon towards the end of September the beach was busy, but not oppressively so. All the usual water sports/activities were available and the beach is also a drop-off/pick-up point for cruises along the coast. Various bars - none very special - are dotted along the central part of the beach, closest to the parking areas. Was it quiet or romantic : no, would it be a fine place for small children to paddle in the water : emphatically yes. In line with the reports from other reviewers, I can easily imagine that it would be an absolute zoo in July and August.

Great beach, turquoise water and it was not crowded but parking is ridiculously expensive, 35 eur for 5 hours on the beach or in best case 11.20 eur for 4 hours. Wonderful sand beach with convenient parking. Came at around 11 in the morning and it was not a problem to park car in the shade of pine trees. And parking is free! Beach itself goes alongside, walk further and it will not be crowded at all. Crystal clear and shallow water, stones to make insta pics, bars everything is there! The best beach for us visited in Corsica! Recommended!!!

I was looking forward to our six and a half hour journey from Bastia to Nice on Corsica Ferries, but I must admit it turned out to be a terrible experience. The staff were extremely unhelpful and miserable. It was as if they were being made to work and didn't want to. Their attitude was abysmal. The food, which I expect to be expensive on a ferry, truly was expensive with a 500ml bottle of still water costing €2.90. The music on the sundeck was far too loud and someone somewhere kept flicking from track to track part way through a song. The dreadful music is not necessary in this day and age where passengers can choose to listen to what they like on their smartphones. All in all I'm glad I won't be travelling with Corsica ferries ever again.

The worst crossing ever with this company on Mega Express 5. The personnel were unprofessional and unhelpful. The smell of sewage throughout the accommodation was overpowering. The staff in the Gusto restaurant overcharged for drinks and refused to reimburse the difference. No more than theft. They refused to call a supervisor when requested. The vessel is old and in very poor condition. Flooring is filthy, cabin in need of repair and the structure on the car decks showing signs of cracks.

My suggestions for improvement: The staff on the Livorno ferry could definitely be friendlier. A more polite manner and greater willingness to assist would significantly enhance the travel experience. The ferry seems to be in an outdated condition and requires renovation. New carpets, chairs, and overall modern furnishings would uplift the onboard ambiance. If dogs are allowed on board, appropriate facilities should be provided for them. Artificial grass and clean disposal options for dog waste would be a welcome improvement. The conditions of the onboard sanitary facilities are unacceptable. Cleanliness and hygiene should be top priorities and urgently improved. Surveys should inquire about the status of the pool if it is actually in operation. The information should be current and relevant. The website is also in need of improvement to better inform customers about the services and the condition of the ferry. The Wi-Fi code didn't work, which was a frustrating experience. Likewise, the booked Express Boarding did not function as expected. Ferry from Nice to Bastia was nice. Onboarding was super fast. Room was clean , food was ok. It was quite fast. We reached quite fast, less than 9 hrs. Overall really good experience

The building was amazing but everything else lacked in excitement. There was only one fountain open to obtain water to drink. Nothing else was open. I was under tge influence that there was access to the hot springs for wading but that wasn't the case. I did catch a local orchestra practicing. Honestly, that was the highlight of that visit

Before I went to visit, I thought it would be overrated, old and uninteresting, but when I got there, I was completely wowed! The tower and surrounding buildings have been maintained in such a pristine way that they look like they were built last week. For a building that is over 850 years old, it sure has aged well. Iconic- such an amazing view. I loved this place but so crowded. I would recommend visiting the museum next to the tower of Pisa to get an amazing view with minimal people spoiling your photos. Also there is a restaurant in this museum and you get a stunning view. Recommend climbing the tower of Pisa that was amazing make sure you are willing to climb as can be tiring. Trainers recommended for the climb.

Had a lovely time here. The tower itself has a beautiful view when you're at the top. The steps are slippery tho so be careful aspecially when walking back down. The cathedral is gorgeous also on the inside. We bought tickets that included entree to all buildings and museums and also walked the walls of pisa all the way (which was quite long). Definitely recommend visiting and also going inside.

Obviously I don't need to give you introduction to the place. There is dress code girls take a scarf with you to cover your shoulders or thighs. It is important to dress appropriately for a visit to a church, with rules against shorts and bare shoulders.

Stunning architecture and artwork in every single corner of this Cathedral, it truly feels like a holy place. Tickets to enter are free you need to go to ticket office to get them, not directly at the cathedral entrance. A must see if you are visiting the tower of Pisa is just beautiful.

Superb place in Pisa, Italy. The city is beautiful and have wonderful stores for shopping. There are eating places and restaurants at every corner. It’s just 1 hour train from Florence. Entire city of Pisa is walkable.

It was a mesmerizing experience witnessing every extricate details of the Cathedral. The view from the outside is as great as the view from the inside.

A truly impressive cathedral — one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen from the inside! It’s absolutely worth going inside; the architecture and atmosphere are breathtaking.

While in Pisa to see the Leaning Tower we went inside Cattedrale di Pisa. The beauty of design shows throughout the church. I lit a candle for a Catholic friend and walked around looking at all of the fine details. During our visit we could see the roof being replaced. Definitely a place you should stop and view if and when you make it to Pisa.

If you want to visit the cave I would recommend to book the tour in advance or at least call them up the day before. We arrived to the town where the information desk was at 12:00 and were informed the last group had already left on the bus to see the cave at 11:00. For some reason, they had they last guided tour at 11am, which was extremely strange and there was no info on their website that said that prior reservation was required. It took us an hour to get to the place, so we were obviously a little disappointed. It could have been a great experience, but alas. Make your reservation ahead of time!

This is out of the beaten path attraction. You park near the ticket office and reach the cave by a bus (included in the tickets). You can only enter with a guided tour of about 2-2.5 hours. You can combine it with a 45 minute tour to the mercury mine nearby. Not all guides are fluent in English, but you can check this with the park by emails (and reserve a spot). There is a small kiosk at the cave entrance.

The guide knew was he was talking about. There is no more audioguide for non Italian speakers. The guide will do both language, which is a considerate and good thing. The downside is we sometimes couldn't hear because we were too far behind. There is not much time to appreciate the last part of the cave since we must follow the group. Overall it was still a nice experience

A very enjoyable trip! The scenery is stunning, with picturesque villages and beautiful coastal views. We did one of the hiking routes, which was both fun and rewarding. It can get quite crowded around the train stations, especially during peak times, but overall it was a great experience and definitely worth visiting.

Le Cinque Terre are beautiful to see and can also be relaxing, especially for people who live in the city and relish some fresh air by the sea or enjoy panoramic walks. Nevertheless, the villages are thronged with tourists virtually all year round, making them crowded and extremely commercial. The locals have exploited the situation by inflating prices and included ridiculous tarrifs where not necessary. This is especially true for the famous Via del Amore between Rio Maggiore and Manarola: the price for the walk is €10 - understandable for the extensive works done on the path, BUT this price only applies IF you have already obtained the Cinque Terre pass at a minimum added value of €7.50. Another letdown is with the famously colourful buildings, so vibrant and lively in pictures, but actually mostly ill-kept and in need of maintenance. Do visit these places, as they are all equally charming and picturesque, but their tag is on the expensive and touristy side.

We took the train from La Spezia to visit all 5 the little villages. Every village has its own charm. Absolutely stunning views, great vibe, and awesome cultural experience.

A wonderful place for hiking, though it’s pretty challenging in places; especially if you show up in the middle of a heatwave, as we did. Lovely villages (especially Vernazza and Monterosso) and terrific coastal views to enjoy. We found that being based at nearby La Spezia was cheaper, convenient, and a little more ‘authentic’…..Levanto would probably work, too.

Great way to see/visit Cinque Terre. Take a small boat tour out of La Spezia, easiest to book online. Our 7 hour day trip included 2 swimming stops, 1-1/2 hour stop for lunch in one of the villages, knowledgeable tour captain, and snacks and drinks on our boat. We went in late May and paid 135 euros/person.

I spent two days here, which wasn't enough time, but it's all I had. We managed two hikes and really enjoyed it. Take lots of water with you and some electrolytes if you can! We did manage to see all 5 towns and La Spezia too. Lots of good food and gelato!

A historical and beautiful bridge right on the side of the road in the mountains. If you're in or around Lucca and planning to see some mountains and nature, I'd recommend having a quick stop at Ponte della Maddalena. Parking is easy on the east/right side of the Bridge. Not too crowded when visiting in the middle of the day. If you're also looking for a pitstop or a quick lunch, three small osterias/restaurants are right next to the bridge.

A bridge that captures history, has many story's and is an architectural delight. We try to pass by a few times a year to relive the history of days gone by.

Wonderful weel kept Castle. From renovations. to 1800 renovations. Very interesting to see all the indise rooms, kitchen, cold storage, torture room. Eat downtown some very good restaurants.

Impressive medieval castle on a hilltop over a village. It's BIG and just after the holiday season it was almost deserted. We spent an hour or two roaming the ramparts, the many rooms (including a fascinating exhibition of 29th century socialist paintings) - and yes, the torture dungeon as well. We were pleasantly surprised to be left to roam the place on our own accord. The view of the valley from the ramparts is stunning.

Very interesting place with great views on the surroundings of Bardi. They definitely put a lot of interesting things to see inside those historic walls. When we were there a very interesting art exposition took place at the castle, worth to check out the rich programme throughout the year.

We were told that the castle wasn't much to look at. Being our first castle, it was fantastic. The view is incredible. There is a torture chamber. You can almost feel the people being tortured. Great experience. I can't imagine what castles the person who told us this was just ok has visited. This one was well worth the trip.

Wonderful castle with a gorgeous view and multiple things to visit : local craftmanshi museum, hunting museum, princes house, dungeon… and everything is included in the entrance fee. The restauration of the castle is really good (you can visit almost everything) and well suited for little middle aged fans.

Really cool and big castle. I truly recommend you to visit it, have a dinner in the restaurant “Le Due Spade”, buy some meat near the castle in the small meat-shop in the street, which leads you to the castle. And as well i recommend you to meet the sunset. It’s amazing!

Really cool historic bridge with a stunning view. We parked outside the town, just next to the bridge. There's nothing much around, but it was worth the hour drive for us.

Beautiful place, in fact the village has been awarded as the most beautiful village in Italy couple of years back. I fully agree with that! Since we went on Xmas day, there were literally nobody around. The drive through the hill (last 10-15mins of drive) is bit difficult since the width of the road is just enough for one vehicle. But with almost no traffic, seems to be ok. I love to visit the tourist places when it is empty, and I am glad I picked the Xmas day for the visit. There is a restaurant near this bridge, but was closed. The village also was very quite. Just my kind of place!

Amazing medieval bridge below which is an area of river perfect for swimming. Lots of families, my children had a great time swimming about looking at the fish. Some shade under the arches of the bridge, recommend taking a picnic.

This old Roman bridge is worth a stop and walk over. Anyway if you want to take a nice pic you need to get to the other side. It's one if those places you can almost feel the history.

Beautiful bridge

Went there with our granddaughter, it's nice and fun for kids, she's waiting to be tall enough to ride a horse instead of the pony she rode, which anyway she enjoyed very much. When you enter they give you coupons for a pony ride and some other attractions. We enjoyed the Gold Mine (did it 3times🥰),and the NEW Chisum House (a 3D show) we enjoyed so much we did it 5 times. Ate at the Ranch restaurant (better book, which I did): exceptional food and good service and the prices are fair enough. We'll certainly go back next year. Congratulations to the park for the improvements.

Unfortunately that was the worst experience I ever had the staff late and we waited more than 20min for the hourse riding although they said at 2pm

This place is not big. It is suitable for families whose kids are less than 10 years old. I got tickets on Grouppon. Considering the price I paid, this place is worthy for a relaxing Saturday afternoon.

Excellent place for adults and children. There is a very big bar on-site with air conditioning for those hot summer days. Staff are incredibly helpful and animal look well taken care of and happy.

This area is worth a visit there are plenty of bars in the village one shop we found at the top of the hill there is a free art gallery. Stunning hilltop castle nestled in a medieval Italian borgo. The entry fee is minimal and the photos you can take alone are worth the price. The history is also quite interesting. Worth the trip.

It was a great opportunity to visit what still stands of an old castle. Tons of stairs to get to the top. Not a real lot to see. But glad I did it. Not for anyone with issues with heights. I was lucky to do this when no one else was in the building. If you are pressed for time may be worth just checking out the town instead.

Came here to spend a few hours, to see the castle and the other sights and some walk. The whole small medieval town is a sight for itself. We parked down in the village and walk the hill up to the castle. Beautiful buildings and architecture all the way up. And on top of course the castle, the tower and many other sights. As well as a small park with some nice views. The town dates back to the 8th Century, but it believed to be even older. The castle itself (the "Borgo") was build in 1342, while the nearby church "Santa Maria Assunta" dates back to the 11th Century. Then there's the Palazzo del Podestà and the Bell tower and other notable buildings up there in the castle area. It was also the filming location of "Ladyhawke" starring Matthew Broderick, Rutger Hauer and Michelle Pfeiffer. We came here on a sunday, there were some visitors, but we expected a lot more, free parking available down in the village as well. A really wonderful old town worth visiting. We didn't expect much, since we really didn't know much about the place, but were really impressed by this beautiful town.

Hard to find anything for free nowadays! This church was unreal!! I have been to the Sistine Chapel and it was really nice but so crowded and honestly hard to see most of it with really long line ups. This place was painted at the same time in the 1500 and looks so perfect! All free with no lineups !! If you're looking for paintings and beautiful art then you have to make the trip to Parma , pulse the food is way better!!!!!

Simply stunning. Don't miss the cathedral and baptistery if you travel via Parma, a real gem. Tickets for baptistery and museum can be purchased from museum, and cathedral entry is free.

The Cattedrale di Parma is absolutely breathtaking. The artwork painted on the walls and ceilings is some of the most extraordinary we have ever seen anywhere in the world, and we have traveled all over Europe. Every detail is magnificent, and standing inside feels like stepping into a masterpiece. We are here in Parma from the US for a month and loving every moment of this city, but the cathedral is truly unforgettable and a must-see.

One of the moat beautiful churches I have ever visided with immense scale and beautiful paintings. It is open and free for the public and it is a miat if you visit Parma.

This cathedral wows you immediately as soon as you walk in. It’s magical, the pictures on the ceiling and walls, the marble work together with wood work in sculptures and inside balconies, simply incredible. No words to describe it, you must visit the Cathedral.

The church is opened every day from 7.45 am to 7.20pm ! Free entry ! The cathedral is dedicated to Virgin Mary! The interior is shaped on a Latin cross! Very impressive church

Teatro Farnese is absolutely breathtaking; one of the most remarkable spaces I’ve ever stepped into. Built entirely of wood in the early 1600s, it feels like a time capsule of Baroque grandeur. The scale is massive, yet the warm tones of the timber give it an almost intimate atmosphere. Standing in the arena, you can feel the weight of history and spectacle that once unfolded here. It’s hard to believe it survived (and was rebuilt after WWII damage), but that only adds to its mystique. A must-see for lovers of architecture, theater, or anyone who appreciates the rare magic of a place that feels truly one of a kind.

My wife and I spent a full month in Parma and out of everything we saw across Italy, Teatro Farnese was by far one of the most breathtaking places we visited. Walking inside feels like stepping back in time. The entire theater is made of wood and when the light shines through the upper windows it gives the space a warm golden glow that pictures can never capture. The history makes it even more special. It was built in the early 1600s for the Dukes of Parma and later destroyed during World War II. What you see today was carefully rebuilt using the same original design and materials. You can feel the care and craftsmanship that went into every detail. Standing in the center of the theater surrounded by rows of wood seating is a moment that stays with you. It is quiet and grand all at once and you can almost imagine the performances that once filled the space. If you are visiting Parma, do not miss it. Teatro Farnese is absolutely spectacular and one of the true treasures of Italy.

Wonderful and quiet teatro farnese was beautiful welcoming . Between my broken Italian and little English from staff, we were shown the way around so as to not miss anything. Great two hours of wonderful architecture and paintings the library was one of the best I have seen. The grand wooden theatre is amazing you smell the wood as you approach. Wonderfully taken care of.

the main masterpiece of Ranuccio's time is the Farnese Theatre. You will definitely not see anything like it anywhere else. A huge theatre from the beginning of the 17th century... made of wood! A unique landmark. In fact, there are similar theatres, the Olimpico in Vicenza and the Antica in Sabbioneta, the architect of Parma used them as models. But the theatre in Parma is larger.

The most incredible theatre I have ever seen. It was renovated a few years ago in the early 2000. It's like ab old Roman theatre and the minute you walk in you will smell the aroma from all of the wooden beams that hold up and make up this incredible structure. The theatre is part of the greater Palazzo Della Pilotta complex. Your €16 ticket gives you access to the Library, Theatre, Archeological museum and the gallery. There are some great models on display as well as Roman ruins. Your theatre visit will likely be short like ours, 30 mins is all you need but it will leave you in awe. It was like stepping back in time on an old movie set. It really is remarkable. Highly recommended

One of a kind! A definit must see if you visit Parma!

Getting caught up on reviews/pics from out trip to Italy in May/June 2024. What an amazing castle! The owner/family still lives there, but has opened the castle for tours. The history of the castle goes back some 1500 years. It’s on a large hill overlooking the Trebbia River, in the province of Piacenza, Italy. Many of the rooms in the castle are “as is”… as they have been for centuries. So much history there, from prisoners to royal guests from all over Europe. It really is a very cool place to visit, good for families as well!

Would be a great trip but if you are not Italian, the tour guides are extremely inhospitable and rude. They do not try to hide their xenophobia. In certain rooms they refuse to speak anything but Italian, and they will not make eye contact with anyone who does not. We were dismissed quickly and the visit was not worth the money. I agree with other reviews, the staff make this a must-miss and unpleasant experience.

This could be a fantastic experience if only the (still living) descendants weren't so selfish and exclusive. For instance: you can't take photos inside the castle; wonder why? me too! Also, the rooms and most of the castle isn't true to its origin: it's rebuilt, not restored. Not recommended.

gorgeous ancient castle. had a lovely visit, a historian took us to see some of the rooms although the family still lives there. I particularly appreciated the 17th century games and toys and the armours hall.

The location is timeless and absolutely gorgeous! The food was really really good with a great service! Absolutely delighted by the fabulous lunch that we had!

It’s a beautiful bridge with great views of the city in the background. Well worth a visit.

A nice historical bridge that tells a story despite being rebuilt. The bridge is considered an icon of Pavia and still retains a charm across the river. There are viewing points along the 2-way bridge. In the middle of the bridge, there is a small chapel though it is not always open. Across the river, there is a statue on the left dedicated to the people (often, the ladies) who used to wash clothes along the river.

The Bridge is well worth a visit it's unique I believe it's a rebuild as it was bombed during the 2nd WW but it's great to see lots of people socialising on it . I also like the sculpture of the Washer Woman dedicated to all the scrubbers who washed there laundry in the Ticcino River before the wonderful invention of the washing machine .

Ponte Coperto is very famous point for walking and enjoying peaceful nature around the Ticino river. It's very soothing and relaxing to walk around ponte after hectic daily routine.

When reading about Pavia, the Ponte Coperto is mentioned as one of its highlights. While it's definitely not something you see every day, it's also definitely not very picturesque. The bridge is still very much in use and only has narrow sidewalks. The amount of traffic crossing the bridge is huge, so it's a noisy and smelly experience crossing it on foot. View from the bridge is nice, but not spectacular. Been there, seen it, that's it.

Best time to visit: At dusk where one could enjoy the breeze and admire the sunset. You will find many vendors selling goods and wares. Italy with its great interest and passion for architecture and history has some of the world’s most interesting and ancient bridges. Albert Einstein spends quite a bit of time here, his quote is inscribed on a plaque.

Went on a Sunday afternoon. Not crowded at all. We bought the ticket at the entrance and used the lockers free of charge. The museum showcase some of the world's best instruments, which one can listen to simply by scanning the QR code at the display. It has some interactive exhibition and a high technology sound dome. Spent around 45min to finished exploring with two music loving teens. A very enjoyable experience.

A small and specific museum dedicated to the art of Violin making and the history behind Cremona’s role in it. Specifically the Stradivarius lineage. Worth a trip to get away from the crowds and brands of Milan and explore.

A must! Highly underrated and very detailed museum with a great layout and tons of beautiful instruments to see for anyone who appreciates classical instruction or Stradivarius.

Beautiful place. I was impressed by the historical treasure they keep. It was a great pleasure to approach these masterpieces of the greatest violin makers.

billion dollar collection of Strad and Avati violins. Nothing much to see if you don’t play the instrument. the audio guide refused to function in english and the staff is rather lackluster. But you go to Cremona to see Strad and Strad you definitely see and hear in this place

Definitely the highlight of my Italy vacation so far. Well worth it if you like violins. Straravari violins fascinate me so this was amazing!

Cannot say enough of our experience visiting the museum and Cremona. It was so insightful! My husband plays the violin and thoroughly enjoyed every part of the museum. We were sorry to miss a live recital which are only on weekends but the visit was still very worth it. One staff member by the name of Clara, was very nice and patient, she answered tons of questions and made our time there so enjoyable. We plan on coming back soon!!

One of the most beautiful Cathedrals I’ve had the opportunity to visit. Make sure you look up in every vestibule !

It’s a lot of steps to go up the tower but there is something to see on each floor as well as to catch your breath. It is really worth paying to see the tower which includes access to the Baptist part. But the Tower makes you really look at the clock which is far, far advanced to anything we have still and it still works in part. Plus the great views of the city at the top. The cathedral itself is a must too including the crypt and really a great respite from the heat.

A fantastic cathedral. We went to mass which was incredible with voices of the choir like angels. And what a beautiful church. The art is beautiful. Plan on at least an hour for a visit. Longer if you attend mass.

This place is wonderful, the Torrazzo is the 3rd tallest brickwork bell tower in the world, was constructed in 1309. the view from the tower is astonishing

Imposing and vast, much more than you might reckon for a relatively small city as Cremona. The inside is richly decorated (many reinassance artists contributed to its beautifully preserved frescoes) and the vault awe-inspiring. The church is free to visit - the rest of the complex, for example the bell tower, is not. Don't miss the floor mosaics in the crypt!

The water park is not bad, we have been going here for more than 4 years, but this year the fee has become too high! First you have to pay more than 20 euros for a ticket, then for a sun lounger (or you will be forced to stay on the wet grass), for a safe locker also 4 euro , for parking another 4 euros. if you need warm water in the shower or a hairdryer, there is also an additional charge for this. Add to all this cost the cost of water during the day, coffee, snacks and in the end - 100 euros per day per couple. As for me , it is too high price. Also notice that on the weekends there are long lines to get an inflatable ring for slides, have to wait about 20-30 minutes.

It was nice, clean and prices as any other aquapark.. however there is very little for adults to do. This is child orioented and compared to other aqua parks in europe its small. But also price was ok in comparison

Le Vele – Unfortunately, a huge disappointment!!! We visited Le Vele hoping for a fun family day, but it turned into a frustrating and unpleasant experience. The park was overcrowded with school trips and summer camps. Teenagers were left without supervision, cutting in lines, being loud and rude – and lifeguards did absolutely nothing to manage the chaos. To make things worse, both of my sons had their water shoes stolen. One pair was found in another area by chance, the other never recovered. The only positive moment came thanks to Veronika and Aurora from the reception, who were kind, understanding and helped by giving one of my sons a spare pair of flip-flops. We're very grateful to them! Overall, the park may look appealing online, but in reality it is poorly managed, lacks safety, and offers a stressful experience. Not recommended for families. There are much better water parks in the area.

Staff is very friendly and nice. Park is great clean and no long lines to wait. Very cool slides.

I think this aquapark is so bad. Life guards don't care about ANY People in the pool. Nobody Cares about your items (somebody stole my slippers that are 60€). Huge line to the pool, and to the slides. And very expensive tickets.

Alton Towers for water lovers. Amazing fun and very reasonably priced.

Prehistory park of over 100 hectares of forest which features 30 reconstructions of prehistoric animals (including prehistoric men), about a hundred animals in semi-freedom, a botanical itinerary with marked plants, natural environments (such as: a marsh, meadows, lakes, etc.), areas equipped for picnic, bars, playgrounds, a labyrinth, fossil exhibits, etc., all along a shaded path.

Nice place for families. The park is an interesting experience if you have children. The tickets are not cheap and I would expect dinosaurs reproductions bigger than that.

Had a great day 4 hours walking around seeing all the dinosaurs and the live animals. Visited both bars, very friendly staff. Myself, my wife and our dog enjoyed ourselves.

This park is lovely for a long Spring walk with young kids, especially if they are dinosaurs crazy. The reproductions are good (although not perfect) and they are well spaced out. The bar served good food (although mainly fried) and the service is very fast. The playground is nice and has plenty of benches for the tired parents to sit on. The entry price is a little steep for the local market and it's a shame it does NOT include a ride on the little road train. Foreign families would not find this price that high. Finally, the maze is simple but great for younger children, who will not get lost even if they enter on their own. A nice addition.

Great for a day outside with kids! Nice park, farm animals and dinosaurs make a great combination. I must have been there 15 times, since I was 6 and everytime it's a magical experience.

Good park, the dinosaurus are skatered on a very large a surface, too much walking between dinosaurus... Nice park, but i wouldn't visit it the second time.

this place is lovely, the dinosaurs are not very realistic but that makes it funny, a bit expensive but worth it for a fun day out

Great place for younger children, height limits on some rides (105cm & 120cm) so worth keeping this in mind before you visit. Was a hot June day, plenty of wet areas to cool down but they are a bit manic so need to supervise young ones Bought our tickets in advance, and walked right in Food was responsibly priced, and the pizza I had was really good!

Nice place for younger children that want to experience rides. However, we were bit disappointed about Thomas the train been on service on that day so we couldn't experience it. We were waiting for it and after asking to one of the staff members we discovered that wasn't operating. Was a quite day so we didn't experience any queue. I don' t think is worth waiting 45min or more for a ride on peak season. Overall was a nice experience, my son had so much fun and had the possibility to experience different rides that he never tried before

Definitely interesting if you have kids and a spare day near Milan, though underwhelming if you’ve been to other parcs in Europe/US. It’s really geared to young kids, teenagers and up would quickly get bored. The parc itself is small but spacious, and clean. The only downside is the access roads; whover design the last couple of kms of entrance to the olace must have truly hated the parc (or people in general). Expect to waste about 30’ sitting in the car from the moment you see the entrance sign at a distance till you actually cross it

Unfortunately they have beit's becoming a place where the crowds exceed the livability just to pursuit profit. The ambience is actually well done and plenty of services. But you'll easily spend more time queuing (average 20 mins) instead of enjoying carousel.

We loved it.. very nice place and good for toddlers.. the rides start for children from the length of 90cm and there are many for that age.. there is an aquario and rettilario which made it more interesting.. there is a mini Italia and it very nice too..

One if the best experiences we had as a family visiting Bergamo, its a must if you like animal parks. The animals was in great condition very clean in great areas and well taken care of.

We came on a rainy day but the place is so nice we didn't even notice. I saw some animals for the first time in my life that live in tropical areas. We had only one hour to visit but it was not enough to see everything. We will come back for sure.

Luckly found this zoo when trying to find things to do in the area while on holiday. What a surprise. Very cheap at €24 to get in and was huge. All animals were in good condition and the enclosure were top notch. So much to see and do while there. Definitely worth a visit. To get there we got a 2 buses and then walked about 20 mins. So not really easy accessible if dont have a car but is do able.

This is an amazing zoo! Good selection of animals. Lot of trees and plants. Clean spaces for animals. Great idea regarding safari train for kids and giraffe feeding. You will see more animals in state owned zoos but it is hard to beat the experience you can have here.

This is a really cool place! It’s a bit hard to reach from Bergamo if you don’t have a car, but not impossible. There’s quite a large variety of animals, some of them in really nice habitats (like the exotic birds). There are many restaurants and places where you can eat your own food, even some playgrounds for kids. There’s a train that takes you around the place and it costs €2. It was not very crowded when we arrived, but we visited on a Saturday at 5PM. By the way, the ticked is €18 if you arrive 3 hours before closing (and 3 hours is more than enough if you don’t have young children). Indeed, some spaces are small for the animals (like the elephants, rhinos, or the big cats) and they looked quite sad. Not necessarily not cared for, but a bit depressy. In my opinion, it’s a really cool place, with lots of animals and if you visit Bergamo, it’s definitely not to be missed!

Fantastic place for the family many animals to see reptiles, serpents, aquatics, Safari Animals, massive park many trees with chairs and tables for picnics —yes you can bring your own food or you can eat in their restaurants book online for your convenience parking is not free though you have to pay €5.00 fix rate. All in all its an amazing place a must see for kids
