(Translated by Google) Although it is a planned attraction, it is indeed based on the life of Confucius and has cultural heritage. There are fewer crowds in winter. I heard that in summer, especially during summer vacation, the crowds of parents bringing their children to seek cultural luck are terrifying. The disadvantage is that the transportation is far away from the main station.

The Kong Family Mansion, located in Qufu, Shandong Province, is a historic landmark that belonged to the direct descendants of Confucius. It covers an expansive area of 240 acres and includes over 463 halls and rooms. The mansion is part of the 'San Kong' along with the Temple of Confucius and the Cemetery of Confucius. Visitors can explore this museum, garden, and airy courtyard while learning about the life and legacy of Confucius' lineage.
Confucius, a renowned philosopher, politician and educator in ancient China whose system of belief involving philosophy, politics and ethics (subsequently known as Confucianism) has exerted profound influence on Chinese culture, was revered as the Sacred Model Teacher for Ten Thousand Generations by Chinese emperors. Located in his birthplace, Qufu City of Shandong Province, China, the Temple of Confucius was built to commemorate and offer sacrifices to Confucius in 478 BC. Having been destroyed and reconstructed over the centuries, it now covers 14 hectares, with 104 buildings dating from the Jin to Qing dynasties including the Dacheng Hall, Kuiwen Pavilion and Xing Altar, and over 1,250 ancient trees. The Temple houses more than 1,000 stelae made at different times, and precious objects such as Han stone reliefs, carved pictures depicting the life of Confucius, and the stone dragon carvings of the Ming and Qing dynasties. The Temple is the prototype and model for all the Confucius temples widely distributed in countries in East Asia and Southeast Asia, particularly in terms of layout and style.

Great place and not too crowded even during summer. There’s a parade at the city gate nearby that’s worth seeing. The family mansion was large and had many courtyards. It’s not too commercialized and you can enjoy seeing the historic building. When I went there in July 2019, they had a renovation so not all buildings were open.

(Translated by Google) The Confucius Mansion, also known as the "Yanshenggong Mansion", is adjacent to the Confucius Temple in the west. It is the residence of the direct descendants of Confucius in the past dynasties. It has the title of "the first family in the world" and is also a world cultural heritage. The Confucius Mansion was founded in 1038 AD. The building is based on the highest-level nine-entry courtyard. It covers a vast area and has 463 halls and buildings. It is an architectural representative of the integration of official offices and inner residences. It is also the longest-lasting feudal aristocratic manor in history. When I walked into the Confucius Mansion, I deeply felt the magnificence of a wealthy family and the style of a scholarly family that I saw on TV. At the exit of Confucius Mansion, after passing the tourist service center and a street of various handicraft souvenirs, get on the eco-friendly car unique to the scenic spot and leave, heading to the bus parking lot. If you go to Konglin, you must also take an eco-friendly car. It was a place where emperors of all dynasties held Zen ceremonies and worshiped the God of Mount Tai. Dai Temple was built in the Qin and Han Dynasties and has a complete complex of ancient buildings. It is also the highest-standard among temple buildings. Together with the Forbidden City in Beijing, the Three Kongs in Qufu in Shandong, and the Summer Resort in Chengde, it is also known as the four major ancient building complexes in China. There are more than 300 steles and stone carvings from past dynasties in Dai Temple, so it is known as the "Dai Temple Forest of Steles" and is one of the best places to appreciate calligraphy. The trees in Dai Temple are green and towering, and the environment is very beautiful and peaceful. Some precious ancient trees, such as "Han Cypress" and "Tang Huai", which have experienced thousands of years of vicissitudes, are the most ancient and valuable trees in Dai Temple. A good place to visit for some scenic views. You also get a good workout with many steps to get to the top, even if you take the cable car.

Great walk up 7000 steps. It got busy at the top, with lots of people huffing and puffing up the steep bit. Well worth a visit. Weekends and good days make it get very busy. So be grateful at the top when it gets steep and you too are huffing and puffing, whilst trying to impress your partner with your stamina, strength and fitness🤣
Mark T — Google review
During my recent trip to China, I had the opportunity to visit Taishan Mountain, one of the tallest and most significant mountains in the country. The journey to the top was both challenging and exhilarating. I started my ascent in the early hours of the morning, determined to reach the summit in time to witness the sunrise. The climb was steep and demanding, but the anticipation of the view kept me going. As I reached the peak, I was greeted with the most breathtaking view I have ever seen. The sun slowly rose over the horizon, casting a golden glow over the landscape. The sky was painted with vibrant hues of orange and pink, and the entire scene felt almost surreal. It was a moment of pure tranquility and awe. In addition to the stunning sunrise, Taishan Mountain is rich in cultural and historical significance. The pathways are lined with ancient inscriptions and temples, each telling a story of the mountain's past. I took my time exploring these sites, immersing myself in the history and spirituality of the place. Overall, my visit to Taishan Mountain was an unforgettable experience. The combination of natural beauty, physical challenge, and cultural richness made it a truly unique adventure. I highly recommend anyone traveling to China to include Taishan Mountain in their itinerary. Witnessing the sunrise from the summit is a memory that will stay with you forever.

Mount Taishan is one of the five Sacred mountains in China. It is situated in Tai’an city, Shandong Province. It is worth to mention that this mount is in the UNESCO world heritage sites. This is one of the most climbed mountains. The legend says that all Kings of China have had climbed this mountain and prayed for the success to the God. The best time for climbing us Summer and spring. If you want to have a nice scenery, then avoid to climb the mount in winter and Autumn. During my first climbing I could see the mountain and the city all in fog which doesn’t happen often as the locals say and only the luckiest people can be witnesses of this beauty. Another best time to visit the mountain is any night in summer because in the morning you will find an amazing sunset view if the weather is nice and not rainy. You can climb by foot which will take about 4 hours if you take a bus to the starting point. You might also take a cable car to the top which is not operating at night. In case of climbing at night be ready to experience cold on the top. Prepare tent where you can sleep and have jackets with you.
Hasmik M — Google review

Temple has a Buddhist ritual at 4pm every day. I would also advise to climb the stairs all the way up to the old Buddha statue on the mountain (over thousand years old). It offers nice views over the area around if the weather is good.

Excellent place to know in Jinan, the people is very kind with the foreign. I was love China, the culture, the food, the history, the infrastructure, the technology, all. If you get all at the same time, GO to China. The Spring City center is a place where most of Chinese people go to do diverse activities, you can enjoy only see them. ¡¡¡GREAT EXPERIENCE...!!!

Quancheng Square - Great location. It is adjacent to Liyuan Street, surrounded by city parks, Baotu Spring and Black Tiger Spring to the east and west, high-end shopping malls, business circles and historical and cultural districts to the north, and Furong Food Street is within easy reach. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to Daming Lake. The Quancheng Plaza underground shopping mall is located on Tuquan South Road. Quancheng Square is very lively at night, with everyone dancing, playing sports, young and old, couples, families, tourists, etc. gathering. Rest in the park surrounding the city facing the river, take selfies, and fish in various ways. Across the river, the dazzling Hang Lung Mall and Guihe Shopping Center complement the liveliness of the square.

A huge plaza where you can find locals relaxing, exercising, and strolling. Great place to be immersed in the culture. You'll find a major landmark of Jinan here. On the square itself, there are a few small shops that sell soft drinks and snacks. Under the square, there is a pretty big grocery store with some eateries.

One of Jinan’s landmarks, nothing much to see and do here though. Inzone mall is right underneath, and Parc 66 is nearby. Music fountain performance takes place at 8pm everyday and worth a look.

A very nice place to start off to any other sight in Jinan, the city river floats right next to it and there is even a small underground shopping-area. The fountain, which turns on every couple of hours, accompanied by Chinese traditional music, is surrounded by semi-circled pavilion featuring some of Shandong's and China's greatest personalities.
