The atmosphere at the entrance was more relaxed compared to other major landmarks. My friend who lives in Seville was able to enter for free at any time without a designated time slot.

We visited the Cathedral of Virgin Mary, popularly known as the Cathedral de Sevilla as a part of a small group guided tour. The guide Martha was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. The cathedral itself has much signs of Islamic influence when compared to its counterpart in Cordoba. But its a stunning structure nonetheless & covers a huge area. The golden altar, the magnificent choir, the tomb of Christopher Columbus, his son and the famed Bell Tower, Giralda were some of the highlights. I would highly recommend this attraction to visitors to this beautiful city.

Very lovely cathedral with lots to read about ! You do need to be modest to enter, no exposed shoulders or knees. They do give out blue shawls you can buy before entering so you are not denied entry. You can go to the top of the bell tower which is about 40 or more flights up, but it is a ramp not stairs. Very worth it though ! There’s pockets of balconies you can sit along the way up too. It is in the city in a lovely part of of town, so you can visit other places as well.

Greatly enjoyed Seville and booked our tour through Get your Guide(small group, English speaking)our guide was very user friendly, knowledgeable and professional. There were many tours going on, but we never stalled out waiting to get in or waiting to get into a specific room, she knew her stuff and timed our coming and going appropriately. Worth every penny!

An absolutely magnificent cathedral — truly breathtaking in size, detail, and history. The interior is stunning, with beautiful altars, artwork, and impressive architecture throughout. Climbing the Giralda Tower is a must — the views over Seville are incredible and worth every step. Everything was well organized, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Seville Cathedral is breathtaking — its sheer size and intricate details leave you in awe. The views from La Giralda tower make the climb completely worth it. Legendary building in Sevilla This is a beautiful tower in Andalusia. Part of the BIG 3 you have to do, with the Mezquita, the Giralda and obviously l'Alhambra. The Giralda is a beautiful tower sitting right in the town centre or the old town. It is a fabulous building and looks really grand. It can obviously be visited but you really need to book for this like most impressive sites in Spain. Highly recommended we really enjoyed it!

We visited on a weekday afternoon and had to line up several times — first to get in, then again for audio guides, and finally to enter La Giralda. The tower is well laid out, with around 35 ramps and rest stops along the way for those who need them. Most people should be able to make the climb without too much trouble. However, it was extremely crowded. The path is narrow, so you go up and down in a single file, often shoulder to shoulder with others. Once at the top, you line up again just to get a view out of each window, and there are fences that make it hard to get a clear look. There didn’t seem to be any real crowd control at the top, which really took away from the experience. If you’re claustrophobic, I’d skip this part. There are plenty of other great spots in Seville to see panoramic views of the city. The cathedral itself was much more enjoyable — there were clear signs and pamphlets explaining the art and architecture. That said, unless you get the audio guide, there’s not much context provided about the tower itself.

La Giralda is a former Muslim minaret transformed into a church bell tower, symbolizing the fascinating transition from one culture to another. The construction itself is magnificent, a true masterpiece of architecture. Be prepared for a bit of a workout—the climb to the top can be challenging, but it’s absolutely worth it. The panoramic views of Seville from above are breathtaking. I highly recommend this unforgettable experience.

The area encompassing the open area next to the Seville Cathedral and surroundings. The history is amazing. There is a large sistern below the outdoor open area enclosed by the walls of the Giralda. This was essential for providing clean cool water to the town in antiquity. The Guadalquivir River was likely not the best place to get drinking water due to the number of upstream towns and villages likely dumping sewer into the river.

The tour is about 35 ramps with only steps at the end so easier to manage for old and young. Originally it was so guards on horseback could ride to the top. It was totally busy at 4 pm on a Monday in October. Tickets in advance are necessary unless it’s really off season. Shoulders must be covered and anyone showing up in a tank top could buy a wrap for 3€. They said legs should be covered to the knees but there were plenty of shorts that they didn’t make an issue of.

Giralda is the tower of the Sevilla Cathedral. It has no steps, just a continuous ramp up to the top, which makes it very easy to climb. The space is wide for a bell tower. The views from the top are amazing. I bought the tickets online, so there was no waiting for us.

The interior of this cathedral was very ornate with beautiful gold sculptures. I bought a ticket for a smaller Church nearby which included a ticket to the cathedral. This allowed me to bypass the very long line to buy tickets at the cathedral. The other church was nice too.

Make sure you book at least one to two weeks in advance — it fills up fast, and with good reason. The Alcázar is absolutely breathtaking. The detail in the architecture is something else — arches, tiles, carvings, gardens… it’s a living masterpiece. The Mudejar style (that blend of Islamic and Christian design) gives it such a layered, soulful feel. You can really feel the history here — not just see it. We decided to book the 8:30am VIP tour with GetYourGuide, and it was one of the best decisions of our trip. No queues, no chaos — we were inside before the heat and the crowds. Anna, our guide, was phenomenal. So passionate, informed, and completely in love with the place — her energy brought it all to life. Worth every single cent. Go early, go with a guide, and take it all in slowly.

The Royal Alcazar of Seville is a beautiful palace & garden in the centre of the historic old town centre of Seville. Architecture & art from the 11th century are on display - from the Andalusian era, Gothic from the time of Alfonso X, & Mudejar from the time of Pedro I. The carved plaster & stone wall friezes, colourful geometric wall tiles, & Mudejar painted & copper covered mahogany wooden ceilings are exquisite. The formal gardens are extensive & offer glimpses of water pools & fountains, amongst trees & sculptured hedges. Booking in advance is essential, & allow up to 3 hours for the visit. There is a really nice cafe in the garden, serving drinks, cakes, & light snacks, & this is reasonably priced. This is a world heritage site for good reason - this is truly a world class historic attraction. 10/10.

We spent an entire afternoon visiting this his historic royal palace. We enjoyed meandering through the rooms and admiring the art and architecture. The gardens outside were so beautiful and offered additional views of the exterior architecture. We walked, sat, and admired the beauty all around us.

Honestly, the place is pure magic. I’ve seen countless pictures, but nothing prepared me for how breathtaking it is in person. The sheer amount of detail in the architecture is incredible, and you can see so much history in the different styles. The gardens are a whole other level—they're huge and so beautiful, with hidden corners and fountains everywhere. It’s the perfect escape from the city heat. I could have happily spent the entire day just wandering through them. My biggest recommendation, especially if you're visiting in the summer, is to pre-book your tickets online. Seriously, don't even think about showing up to buy them on the day. The lines can be absolutely brutal, and you'll spend a ton of time waiting in the heat. Booking online gets you a specific time slot and lets you skip the main queue, so you can head straight to security and start exploring right away. It's the best way to make sure you get in and make the most of your visit without any stress.

Amazing palace and gardens. Don't just go there during the day. The light show Naturaleza Encendida in the evenings (Oct till March, I think) is well worth the separate ticket too (dress well, it's much more chilly inside the gardens than outside in the streets).

Nice building. Beautiful architecture and gardens. Everything is beautiful, but I wasn't blown away by it. I'm not sure why, and think it's either personal preference or my mood that day. I wish more places included arrows or maps because we nearly missed a lot of what there is to see.

Interesting to see a castle transition from Muslim to Christian nobility. Very few people venture far into the gardens, so peaceful. While the tickets are timed, you can show up to 30 minutes after the selected time. If after your selected time, you can just walk in without the line. The free audio guide is good, although you have to skip through advertising for the paid version.

The amounts spent on these construction projects are just mind-blowing. And when you remember how many people lost their health or even died there, it gets uncomfortable. 1. Tourists today admire the marble, the gold, the columns—but for someone, all this cost a life. Nobody remembers the names of the workers, though nothing would exist without them. 2. Sometimes I look at these buildings and think: was all this beauty really worth those sacrifices? For some, it’s a symbol of the nation, but for others, it’s years and strength lost. Honestly, I’m always a bit envious of the architects of that time—to plan something on this scale takes real talent. But at the same time, I feel for those who paid for this “eternity” with their health. I can’t feel just one way about it. The architecture is impressive, but the price was enormous. Sometimes you look at a cathedral and realize there’s a heavy shadow behind all that beauty. What about you? Can you just admire places like these, or do you also think about the price?

Sept 2025. Wow! Time was lost as soon as we arrived. Spent a good part of the day just cruising around this gorgeous place and beautiful parks surrounding it. Was easy to walk around, not hoards of tourists (even though i was one haha). The water and bright green flora just popped colour against the majestic architectural marvel that commands its prescence in a humongous semicircle. There are 52 mosaics with tiles representing each province (i didnt count them to check ok). The beautiful Vicente Traver Fountain is in the centre with bridges crossing the canal, good photo opportunities!! It was also a back drop for Star Wars II. Cool. Rent a boat and bob around the small canals for something a bit different, you may spot some fish swimming happily underneath and ducks nurturing their babies, cute as. Part of the building is used by government institutions too. There were some VERY talented musicians playing underneath/amongst the super grand stairways leading up to some great viewpoints. And when you're done with all the beauty of this place, you can check out a couple of stalls out the front, then walk and embark on another adventure, the grand parks and grounds surrounding this place emersed with its own history and beauty. Great place for fitness and many people running, cycling, walking and chilling. My advice, don't skip this place, its a feast for the soul ;)

Oh my goodness. This is an absolute must to see. Worth coming to Seville just to see this. It's absolutely stunning and photos cannot do it justice. As you walk around it, you get to see yet another photo you just have to take. Can't recommend this more. Also, next to it resides a stunning park with lots of interesting structures or features interspersed within it. I recommend doing a zigzag walk through it to find them all. Made for a very satesfying day

Visited Plaza de España in Seville early in the morning in October 2025 to beat the crowds. Built in the 1920s, it features stunning semi-circular architecture blending Spanish Renaissance and Moorish styles, with colorful tiles, fountains, canals, and ornate bridges—truly a photogenic and iconic landmark. When we visited, the canal was dry, but when filled, visitors can row boats along the curved canal for a unique view of the bridges and colonnades. Horse-drawn carriage rides around the plaza and nearby Parque de María Luisa offer a classic, leisurely way to explore the area. We also saw a couple of locals selling souvenirs on the ground. A must-see when visiting Seville!

Loved this Planet Naboo scenery in Seville (Star Wars fan here). It is breathtakingly beautiful and one rarely gets to see something of this scale in real-life. It is simply majestic to visit.

The Plaza de España is one of the most beautiful squares I have ever seen. The majestic central palace blends seamlessly with the serene water canal, creating a truly breathtaking scene. In front of the square, there is a charming garden that adds even more to the beauty of the place. You can also admire the detailed mosaics, each one depicting the history of a different Spanish city—a wonderful way to explore the country’s heritage in one spot. Best of all, the entrance is free, and I highly recommend visiting if you come to Seville.

Magnificent! A simply amazing place to visit. Nobody wouldn't like the beautiful architectures and the smart designs. It really deserves the name of "Plaza de España", it truly shows how grand an empire was and how brilliant the people were. Visited twice, both in the morning and the evening, and both breathtakingly beautiful. I really like the fountain, not a big fan of the horse carts though. In general really a landmark and nice place you wouldn't want to miss when in Seville.

Visiting the Bullring of the Royal Cavalry of Ronda was one of the highlights of our trip. Even if you’re not a fan of bullfighting, the place is worth seeing for its history and architecture. Standing in the middle of the arena feels surreal, and the museum collections with costumes, saddles and antique weapons are really impressive. Easy to visit, and right in the heart of Ronda’s old town, definitely a stop we recommend. Greetings from Romania 🇷🇴🐾

Amazing bull fighting arena. Loved it. People might say it was cruel, but probably not crueler than hundreds of thousands of bovine being cut up for food every day. It’s all in perspective, entertaining the masses. Must visit place to go.

Nice little tour on the oldest bullring of Spain. Advice: take the audio guide so you’ll get really interesting history facts that you wouldn’t get. Visit is about 1h, and ok with kids.

Great experience. Very rich and interesting history. The museum is very interesting. Bull fighting isn't exactly a good thing (in my opinion it's a bit cruel) however the experience was amazing and it is an important part of their history. The ring was also used as an army base by either side during the Spanish Civil war.

I thought it was worth a visit. We brought sandwiches and sat in the bleachers and ate them while checking out the arena and doing some tourist watching. Cool to see and oldest in Spain!

Beautiful Bullring. Probably the oldest and best renovated in Spain. It has a museum and gift shop. A definite must visit when in Ronda.

One of the first bullfighting arenas built in Spain. Large and impressive. Recommended if you are visiting the city.

This is a very impressive bridge! We paid 5 Euros to go down into the room inside the bridge and thought that was a very cool experience. Outside, it is a bit difficult to get a really good view of the bridge without getting a bit far away from it (you need more than the hour or so that we had), but we still enjoyed the views, especially the scenic views looking out at the cliffs and valleys below. Worth a visit, especially if you have time to explore a bit farther back from the bridge!

The bridge is amazing and home to very nice views. What they don't tell you is that it is in use and very busy with cars. But still, there are vantage points so you can take great pictures. There is also a payed experience that lets you in a certain part of the bridge and it was nice to feel a bit of fresh air. I cannot really recommend the payed experience, sure at 2,50 euros is not expensive but there isn't much to see.

Beautiful views ❤️. And near the bridge you can find many souvenir shops and restaurants. The Fotos where great 👍, I recommend 💯

1 hour 30 minutes from Marbella it's worth going for the puento nuevo bridge over the gorge. I spent 3 hours there and that was just right. Very touristy however it's a lovely town and a good day out for a group and if you sit and eat/drink then you will need about 5 hours. So it's a worthwhile day out.

An unforgettable experience! 😍 The trail is absolutely breathtaking — suspended walkways, cliffs, turquoise water, and stunning views everywhere you look. We went on an organized tour from Málaga, and I’d definitely recommend doing it with a guide — you learn so many interesting details about the history and nature of the place. It was a really windy day, so bring a proper jacket and comfy shoes. Everything was very well organized and felt perfectly safe. A must-do when in Andalusia! 🌄

This was an amazing hike that is quite accessible.....for anyone that isn't afraid of heights. I cannot even imagine what hiking on the old trail without handrails would have been like. Helmets are mandatory but it is so worth it. The full trail is about 5 km and there isn't much in the way of elevation change for the most part. Once at the end, which is the South Access,, you're taken back to the various car park places via coach bus. The busses come every 30 minutes so perhaps plan to hang out in the small town and grab a drink, maybe do some souvenir shopping. It is necessary to purchase tickets ahead of time and group guided or self-directed tickets are available. We had guided tickets but we were able to opt out and go at our own pace. They do a good job of controlling the number of people on the trail so things never felt crowded. Overall, the full trip took a few hours. Worth the time.

Absolutely stunning experience and history in this park. The tour guide option is a must to learn about the history of the location. Safety is paramount and you must wear the helmet at all times and follow the path but you won't be disappointed. Ar the end are toilets and food/drink vendors in the picnic area but be aware there is nothing in the trail itself so be prepared.

An easy walk that takes about an hour and a half. The surroundings are very beautiful, the path is renovated, and there’s a great bridge at the end. Restrooms are only at the entrance and at the end. There’s also a café and a souvenir shop at the end. About 400 m from the exit there is a train station or a bus stop, and the bus takes you back to the parking lot - short ride 10-15 mins. (€2.5 for a round trip)

“Spectacular hike — worth the planning ahead!” Caminito del Rey is an amazing adventure and absolutely worth the effort. The views are stunning, and walking along the narrow paths and wooden stairways high above the gorge is unforgettable. You do need to be reasonably fit and comfortable with heights, as some sections can feel a bit sketchy. Be sure to book your tickets well in advance — they often sell out weeks ahead. If you wait until the last few days, your only option may be to join an organized tour at a much higher price. It’s a bit of a hassle, but once you’re on the trail, you’ll forget all about it. Highly recommended!

A beautiful and relativly easy hike. Not scary at all. Very important - BUY PARKING TICKETS and use the shuttle bus - its so easy, we watched with pain people trying to find parking alone on the north entrace or the train station - not worth the pain, pay for the parking in visitor center and take the bus from there to begining of trail.

We bought tickets in advance, which we recommend. Getting to the parking lot (which we also booked in advance, along with the shuttle) was easy. It's another 1.5 km from the shuttle to the entrance, and almost the same distance from the exit back to the shuttle. So the whole visit didn't take the planned 3 hours and a bit, but over 4 hours, partly due to waiting for the shuttle, etc. But the views are amazing.

Beautiful nature, way up was fine. There are also quite some parking spots all the way up. We have been there on a Friday in September around 17h30, and where done after a good hour (green track). Recommending for everybody who is curious and likes views 😍

Beautiful Hiking Area! We have been doing this Tour at the beginning of the year in January. The Weather was perfectly fine. You should bring good shoes as some parts might be a bit slippery. But overall the paths are quite good to walk at. We did bring our Dogs but they must be on the leash all time as you might spot Capricorns just around you in between the rocks. The Landscape is just breathtaking and beautiful. Definitely a Must-See place here in Andalusia!

Absolutely fantastic area. Other worldly and incredibly scenic. You can drive right out to the visitor center where there is ample parking. The road there is surprisingly well serviced and wide enough for vehicles to pass each other. Lots of different routes to take when hiking different environments and difficulty levels from wide flat pathways to clambering over ancient rock formations. My six-year-old son had an absolute blast, exploring and climbing.

Lovely prehistoric place, you can park on the Visitors Center open until 17:00 hrs, have a drink and a bite, use the toilet and begin your journey. There's 3 routes you can take, green, orange and yellow. Orange is a direct line go and come back and the other 2 are circular. We took the medium one and walked around 2.5 hrs taking many pauzes it was 32° when we were there at 18 hrs but luckily we had a wonderful wind to cool us off, we could enjoy the view, admiring the place where you can find fossils, wild goats and many birds. Amazing to see, a must to do when you visit Malaga. We will come back again and will take another route.

Very spectacular park. The yellow route is moderate and suitable for most people. We also did orange rout, that was a bit harder: the carved road was smaller and sometimes a bit harder to find. Advise: use "alltrails" as app to geolocate the route. The visitor cetre has a restaurant with enough choices. Come early: before 10AM so you can park at the main parking area. When full many people park down the road, but you will get fined. Police is checking on regular base.

Absolutely beautiful place. There is a couple hiking trails you can take and a few view points that are not too far away. There is free parking available, there is a small cafe with a picnic area inside and out as well as a small souvenir shop.

Great walk around one of the trails, there are 3 official trails… although there are other areas that could be seen and have no information… just visual trails where people have ventured off themselves! Well worth the visit!

Fabulous Alcazar Delightful visit for the family, we enjoyed wandering around these beautiful historical gardens. The gardens & fountains are absolutely beautiful and look very grand. We also like seeing the ruins and the inside of the building. This is certainly one of the must see places in Cordoba.

The Alcázar is a fortress-palace that reflects the layers of Córdoba’s history—from Roman and Visigothic to Islamic and Christian times. The current structure was extensively rebuilt in the 14th century under Alfonso XI, later serving as a residence of the Catholic Monarchs, and even as the seat of the Inquisition and a city prison. Four towers mark its corners, giving the fortress its distinctive silhouette. Inside, the Mudéjar-style Patio de Crucero features geometric water channels, fountains, and ancient remains. It is a very amazing and beautiful place. You are able to explore the ruins of the alcazar where you are able to climb the tower and get a gorgeous view of the gardens and the city. Speaking of the gardens, they are magnificent and gorgeous. They are a must-see if you are passing by or just enjoy a gorgeous garden. It normally isn’t too crowded so it’s a perfect place to visit when you have free time.

Amazing garden, many different trees, seating places with shadow from hot 🌞 sun. Very relaxing and quite place to escape from croudly tourist streets. Unfortunately castle is closed... but was nice to walk around.

Now unfortunately it is under renovations so we just admired it from outside and it looks amazing anyway! Very beautiful and its garden is well maintained! I'll come back to get in and enjoy

There is still a lot in construction/restauration, but it's worth the visit. There are various tickets prices based on age, student status etc... The view from the towers is great as well as the gardens. The mosaic rooms is simple but takes you back in time somehow. Loved it except for this undergoing works.

The castle (AND several fountains) are under maintenance. Entry to the gardens is free. Some areas are accessible for wheelchair users but they are not indicated. There's no map with wheelchair accessible routes available either

Amazing cathedral where you can access the external upper balconies with superb views of the city and surrounding countryside. The very impressive virtual reality goggles (on the left as you enter) are the best way to start your visit. An audio guide is included in the entry price. On our visit there was a very charming lady selling the tickets and managing the shop, who spoke English.

This is a must see whilst in Jaen- it’s such a stunning cathedral. This cathedral is in my top three cathedrals of the world which I would have not have expected given the size of Jaen. It’s not only stunning but different from my cathedrals of its era. The architecture of the roof is unusual and stunning in my opinion. You can visit three levels. In the basement it’s like a museum and the upstairs galleries have lovely views looking down on the inside of the church. The audio guide was a bit over-detailed for me so I gave up on it and just read the signs which were in Spanish and English. Visited on a hot Saturday in July and it was virtually empty. Outside the cathedral is a lovely square with seats to sit in the shade and admire the front of the building.

Fantastic breathtaking cathedral! Also the VR headset available at the entrance was amazing giving birds eye views of the cathedral! An absolute must! Also to see it at night recommend making the trip up to the Parador and walking along the path to the edge underneath the white cross...

If I'd been wandering solo this would have been a ten minute visit but our guide, Patricia, was fabulous so the visit was extended to an hour by learning about the bishop who remained unburied for 500 years, the choir seats and the council being snubbed, the balconies around the outside, the bombing of Jaen in the Spanish Civil War and the face of Christ relic. It is an impressive and well maintained building but there is very little in the way of information unless you have an audio guide.

We have spent a month touring Spain and done our fair share of Spanish cathedrals. We were a bit reluctant to visit this Cathedral just because we really have overdone cathedrals in the past month. Cathedral overload has been succeeded. However every Spanish cathedral is special and different in its own way and Jaén is no different. Jaén has some amazing art. The cathedral itself is stunning. Very tall and light. We were lucky in that the organist was practising when we were there. The organ here is amazing - and I have heard a few. It was such a privilege and very inspiring just to sit and listen to this incredible musician in such an amazing building. The audio guide is a bit dry - as must cathedral audio guides are. So even if you are approaching cathedral overload - go and visit Jaén cathedral

What to say about the beauty of this Cathedral. Such a great architecture and very unique style and design. For me it can be ranked in the top of Europe. Its so great!!!

Magnificent views even on a “so-so” day weatherwise

Very impressive! A tad bouncy and you can certainly feel the bridge sway and jiggle when you walk over it which can be disconcerting and if you’re scared of heights then it’s a tad terrifying. But a cool experience. Definitely worth a trip to Cuenca.

Not for the faint of heart, vertigo sufferers or ones with fear of height. It looks harmless from the photos but the bridge's width is narrower and the height of the bridge is perched far higher than expected. Does not help that the bridge has very thin railings on both sides. That said it does have very breathtaking panoramic views of the town and countryside if you can keep your eyes open and stop your legs from shaking.

Lovely bridge. Was fun jumping on it. Just kidding. The middle part shakes a bit but the views are incredible.

The bridge is a wonderful way to enter the city. The other way is through a spiraling road in the bottom near the underground parking lot. It’s hard to truly capture the magnitude of the city if you don’t cross the bridge.

A epic theme park loved it, very good value for money, plenty to do for adults and a good selection of rides for small kids. Quite a few shows, realt impressed with the cleanliness of the park, plenty of toilets and bins ( with ashtrays ) food selection is your typical stuff with beer as well. Good size car park with taxi rank only 15 euros to the beach in benidorm and hotels. Staff are polite and speak some english as well as spanish and other languages. PARK IS SET UP FOR DISABLED PERSONS AND BUGGIES IN MIND 😉

We visited Terra Mítica during Halloween 2025, and it turned out to be a fantastic place to enjoy with the kids. The rides are really well done—just note that most of the big ones require children to be over 1.4 meters tall. One of mine was a bit shorter and was a little disappointed she couldn’t go on everything, but that’s something to keep in mind. A fun tip: there are two water rides—one on a smaller setup and one on a big boat. We ended our day on the big boat ride and got absolutely soaked. The good news is I learned afterward that they have drying facilities on site—something I wish I’d known sooner! So you can dry off before heading out if you get drenched. All in all, Terra Mítica is a great spot for family fun, especially during the Halloween season. Just keep those height requirements and the handy drying stations in mind.

Such a disappointing review. Initially, I wanted this review to be 5* however there were some segments of my day that didn’t go particularly well to my desire. Why so? I waited for one of the rides: EL LABERINTO DEL MINOTAURO and we waited for 41 minutes in a hot room without any sprinklers present to cool you down. Additionally, once I got onto the ride, the laser things weren’t working properly even though I accurately aimed at the targets. You should honestly fix that ride. This ride is the chief reason why I rated this theme park 3*. However, there more positives than negatives… I really enjoyed the water rides: the rapids and that ride with the huge drop at the end and you get absolutely. But due to meteorological conditions. You will dry extremely fast within 15 minutes at least, fully. I also went on the orange swing ride (whatever it is called) which was so fun. Furthermore, prior to riding the orange swing ride, I went on the blue rollercoaster something associated with Titan theme (I think). That was highly fun and I do recommend it.

What a fun place, where you can soend the whole day. All the water rides are the best fun and on a hot day getting wet was great. The park itsellesi is a master piece and so clean aswell. All the sets and atmosphere, with different countries and eras. The shows are great with really talented actors, dancing, singing, stunts and the stage settings. The pirate show was amazing, loved it. All in all a great day. Yes it does take a lot of money to enjoy, since food and especially drinks are very expensive. But if you compare to theme parks around the world, entry fees are not as high for the quality of this theme park. It really is a place to see and experience. We will be back.

A great day out with loads to enjoy. Every time we have visited there are very few queues for the rides, great water play areas and amazing shows. We always try and visit once a year and haven't ever been disappointed!

Way better than my expectations. Many reviews cite poorly kept installations and an underwhelming experience. We found the opposite: friendly staff, good range of rides, plenty of shade, short queues and eating places that are better than average in these sorts of places. Overall a great experience!

Old Town benidorm is a absolute gem , loads of shops bars and cafes it's more cultured than new benidorm and old town is more traditional, its definitely worth exploring plus there are two beaches a small cove beach and the large beach and the harbour

Levante beach was simply beautiful. It is well maintained, clean and safe. Sunbeds can be rented for only 6 euro for the day. Excellent place to relax.

Lovely beach but very busy. Chairs and umbrellas €6 each, you just sit down and someone comes round to pay. Close to shops you have people walking up and down selling cocktails and offering massages. A place with taps to wash the sand off your feet. A warning women do walk around and lounge top less if this offends anyone.

I visited Platja de Llevant in Benidorm at the end of December, and the weather was surprisingly warm, not hot enough for a swim, but perfect to enjoy the sun and a long walk by the sea. My Days in Benidorm 🥰 🌸❣️ It was August, and Benidorm welcomed us with 41-degree weather 🥵. What wonderful days we had at the beach, strolling through its streets, trying out restaurants, watching the sunrise, or walking at night while enjoying the nightlife. We’d wake up early to enjoy the sea and walk along the sand. Each day was unique and amazing! Creating human connections, observing and learning about their lifestyle and culture made the experience even more enriching.

It's ok not amazing. The food is rubbish. it's quite small and you can see everything in 3 hours . It's not a complete waste of time and money although 90 something Euro's for 2 adults and a child seems a bit steep on reflection. The food prices to the quality is crazy 😧 very bad hence the 3 star .

Well the kids liked it and thats why we went. But it's very expensive for what you get. The shows are kind of disappointing I think they could do so much more. The technology is 20 years old. They try but it needs an injection if modernization. The food is crazy expensive. The best bit was the dinosaurs in the sea building which we did last thankfully. Four hours and we did it all. Hopefully they can update things a bit it could have been so much more exciting for the kids

Thought it would be a fun natural history thing for the kids. Turns out it's mostly waiting in line for 4D shows, and a play area. The first show they sent everyone away because it was broken down, and the paleontology hall was closed. We were on a tight schedule and couldn't wait hours for the 'rides', so €126 for a play pen? I demanded my money back. First time I EVER did that.

This place is great for young families. the ticket price includes all areas of the park. Everything except the museum is geared towards kids so tickets can be expensive but it's still good to visit at least one time.

What a complete rip-off. €28 per adult and €22 per CHILD! For nothing more than a few fibreglass statues of dinosaurs, a really badly acted T-Rex drama and run-around treehouse that's limited to kids aged +9. And don't go there hungry. The food is absolutely terrible. The salmon (fish of the day) was frozen and had the texture of my granny's old boots, the carrots we're tinned and boiled until every last vitamin had disappeared and the potatoes would have found better used in a jar of baby food. They we're mush. The only thing worth eating was the roasted chicken. You'd get better value for money and more educationally by renting Jurassic Park on Netflix and ordering in a pizza!

But overall, it’s a great place to spend a few hours, relax, and see lots of incredible animals. Definitely worth visiting!

One of the nicest zoos we ever visited. Even though it might look small, we spent great day there. Great variety of animals, the hippo feeding was amazing to see. The animals seem happy and very well cared for. In comparison with other zoos is this one alot of them share the space (like giraffes, ostriches, goats, birds) which gives a much more natural feeling, no cages, no minuscule enclosures. We were just in time for the "Circle of life" show where birds were flying around the arena which was very cool. Only downside was that some people were smoking even if its prohibited Even the restaurant has an amazing view to the animal enclosures. Overall great experience, even though a bit pricey it's definitely worth.

Amazing bioparc! Spent a day here while traveling in Valencia and so glad i did. Wonderfully laid out, not too busy, and great keeper talks given in spanish, catalan and english in the different areas of the park. Enjoyed the lunch meal deal in the cafeteria as well, great traditional paella for the cost.

Fantastic experience for everyone who want to enjoy a day (takes more than a couple of hours for a decent tour) with animals. I like that it's not you classic (and sad) Zoo, here animals have a good amount of space and are nourished and looked after. There is great variety and there are multiple places where you can rest and relax. The ticket price is not cheap, but it's something you can expect to keep those animals in the best possible conditions.

I'm thrilled with this biopark! The animals are cage-free, in conditions that are close to real life. There are waterfalls, ponds, lots of trees and grass, and rock formations. The animals are clean, well-fed, and look healthy and calm. The animals live as if on islands that you can walk around on all sides. I've never seen anything like this with the opportunity to see wild animals so close. Any zoo is still captivity, but this the best that can be in such conditions. The staff is friendly and professional, and there are tours available. I was especially impressed by the area with the lemurs, who just run around next to you, without cages. Elephants, hippos, giraffes, lions, a leopard, turtles, monkeys, many large and small animals, and birds. We wish the biopark prosperity and healthy visitors.

So much fun! Only £25 each for adults. Purchased online the day before and didn’t have to line up like the rest. Able to just walk in. The enclosures were so nicely done, clean and the animals appeared well looked after. Would recommend the hippo feeding which is free to watch. The bird show is something I wouldn’t rave about and if you’re short on time give it a miss. Otherwise so fun. They have an open enclosure where the lemurs reside.

Very interesting walk-through zoo. Quite easy to reach by bus. Can easily spend a good three quarters of a day walking through and having fun with family. In order to enter it is recommended that you buy the tickets online before, otherwise you will end up waiting for half an hour to three quarters of an hour. The issue was not the long queue as much as disorganisation by the personnel selling / scanning tickets. They could have done a lot more and faster if they opened one or two more selling stations and organised the queues a bit more (people were skipping queue and it was not nice!). Zoo is recommended for families of all ages but especially for children. If you go do not miss the AR underwater experience. It is a must for circa Euro 5 (each person). Quite original and good. The only downside was the buying of slushy drinks from the park (actaully from all over Valencia!). You had to buy a refillable cup. Whilst I understand this option to reduce plastic waste, the probability is that you cannot keep on going around Valencia with the cup to refill each time and this custom of selling slushy with cup seems to be all over the city. So you either buy a cup each time (which is not environmentally and financially friendly) or opt for another drink. The rest was all positive and very recommended. The souvenir shop was ok but could do with a good upgrade of original products to sell.

So much food to discover and eat. Wine, croquettes, empanadas, sandwiches, paellas but also a lot of fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and fish. It is a delight to walk around and immersive yourself of what this foodhall has to offer.

Very nice food market. Lots of food is repeated, but you still get a lot of variety. Much of the food is very overpriced, but I guess that's what you get at a touristy place. All the food looks nice, but I'm not sure if the quality is actually that good. Comes with parking, which is good.

100% worth visiting. This market is incredible. The building itself beautiful, but just to walk up and find every aisle immersing yourself in local fresh produce is a real experience. It does not feel too touristy in my opinion as you are surrounded by locals doing their daily shop. It does get busy, so go early (maybe that’s why I didn’t find it too touristy) - I loved popping by here daily

The architecture is amazing and is covered in nature. You can even see and hear parrots in the trees and it's beautiful. It's a brilliant place to walk around and explore but one thing which wasn't the best was the cost to go inside. I read other reviews and some people said how it isn't worth paying the money to go inside and I can agree with them. If you want to, your more than welcome to pay the money to go inside but I wouldn't. Overall, amazing place to go and there's a bus which goes right up to the museum which was very helpful.

We visited the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias in Valencia today (October), and it was a wonderful experience even without going inside the buildings. The weather was perfect, sunny but not too hot, and there were fewer people around, which made it peaceful to stroll through and take photos. The modern architecture is stunning, and the reflections on the water create a beautiful, almost futuristic atmosphere. Definitely worth visiting, even just to enjoy the walk and the views.

We were there on a Saturday night. It was very nice to walk around. The architecture was fascinating and the vibe was just very good. A nice place to stroll around and it was super easy to get there from the city center. And don’t forget to check out the whisper chamber! It was very cool!!!

The City of Arts and Sciences is a futuristic destination in Valencia, well worth a visit. It's a large area encompassing many buildings, of which the oceanarium is, in my opinion, the most beautiful and highly recommended. Even without tickets, it's still worth seeing the buildings from the outside, although you should be careful with the sun as the main promenades are uncovered. However, there's a garden and a park along the entire length, so I recommend exploring those paths.

We did the whole Combination, Museum, Cinema and the Oceanographic Park! Booked a combined ticket in advance which I would recommend! The Museum is a must for every person that’s interested in science/ the human body! We are two medstudents and we loved it but it’s definitely something children would love as well! The Movie is just an experience for the eyes, the big round screen is unique and therefore very interesting! The Seaanimals are very nice to watch. However, might be the case that they have multiple certifications but to have beluga whales in an Aquarium and Dolphines for a show, even if it isn’t as disciplined as some other shows, isn’t really acceptable. We on purpose didn’t go to the show and we read afterwards some articles which stated the show is very dolphins friendly and the circumstances are far from shows at Seaworld etc. but we heard the crowd from far and Dolphines are very intelligent and sensitive animals which is why that’s not acceptable. Just because they don’t treat the Dolphines as cruel as others, doesn’t mean it’s not cruel. And to keep them and even bigger animals, belugas, in a tank of water when normally they would wander thousands of miles in the ocean just makes me very sad. And I am aware, that they also support the ecosystem sea in a way but I would like to see at least no Dolphines and Whales in Tanks way to small for their needs. We won’t be coming back, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend anyone going there. The only case I would go back is probably with kids, for educational purposes. However, still 3 Stars for the Cinema and the Museum.

Nice place, huge effort from the team. Great selection of animals etc. Awesome aquariums. The one from Tenerife is the leader, in my opinion. The food inside quality should be improved. The value for money is disappointing. Dishes hot in the exterior and almost frozen in the middle. The security staff should help the clients; in our case, they had long personal discussions, ignoring the visitors.

If You wish to see dolphin show please make sure that you arrive 10 minutes earlier and take a seat because workers try to ensure health and safety for everyone. The L'Oceanogràfic is one of Valencia's biggest attractions, a true showcase. The ticket price seemed high for our budget, but after entering and seeing these wonders, I realized it was a bargain. The animals look well-cared for and have plenty of space. The dolphin arena is a real gem. I felt the dolphins were happy; you could see their bond with their trainers, and the instructor focused on educating people about these magnificent animals and their health. Initially, I thought the area was small and would be a quick tour, but it turned out that the coolest aquariums and trails are underground, pleasantly cool (good for hot weather). It was amazing to see the belugas and underwater passages with sharks and other creatures overhead, within arm's reach. I felt the magic of this place the entire time, like a child. The photos capture it perfectly! You can buy a combined ticket to the facilities in the city of science, but THIS is a gem and I recommend it wholeheartedly.

I liked the marine animals, beautiful buildings with modern architecture. Arrows on the floor were useful to help you follow a predefined route, to easily go through all the dark rooms with aquariums. I liked the call for everyone to get involved and make changes for a better planet. The dolphin show was a bit boring, a few jumps, swimming with 2 employees and that's it. I've seen better shows at dolphinariums. If you want a good seat go there with many minutes before the show.

This place was awesome. Lots of fish. We even saw whales a crocodile penguins. Jellyfish and lots of other animals and exciting things to see. I would definitely go again as you couldn’t see from the photos there is a lot to see and a lot to do it does cost. It cost us €38 per person. I don’t know what that will be for people looking at this in a few years time. But you can spend three or four hours in there easy And if you come with children, there is plenty of things for them to jump a boat undo ice cream shops. There’s a restaurant in there. There is play areas for kids as well.

Went with the vision this would probably rate as a childrens zoo. Not at all it was amazing. Such a different perspective of the sea creatures which interacted with you as you passed along underwater tunnels. Clean, good food, exceptional staff and most of all the most hilarious penguins I've ever met. Prepare to be intrigued, delighted and entertained.

I recently visited Oceanogràfic in Valencia, and it was an amazing experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. The aquarium is beautifully designed, easy to explore, and filled with an impressive variety of marine life from all around the world. Out of all the exhibits, the dolphins and sea lions were definitely the highlights of my visit. Watching the dolphins was truly unforgettable — they were energetic, playful, and clearly well-cared for, and their interactions with the trainers made the experience both educational and entertaining. The sea lions were equally captivating, with their curious personalities and lively behaviour. I could have spent hours watching them glide through the water and interact with each other. The whole place feels very immersive, and the layout allows you to get close to the animals without feeling crowded or rushed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was well-maintained and clean, from the walkways to the viewing areas. Whether you’re visiting as a family, a couple, or even on your own, there’s plenty to enjoy and learn. Overall, Oceanogràfic offers a wonderful mix of entertainment and education, and I would definitely recommend it to others looking for a memorable day out.

Interesting information (mostly in Spanish) about the various stages of adaptation of the castle from its beginnings and most recently a palace. Worth a visit. Not much shade so morning or evening visit recommended. Plenty of (paid) parking in the vicinity. Good location for a walk around old town after. Plenty of exercise walking up and down the many steps and slopes to stretch those legs after a few days relaxing on the beaches.

Beautiful walk around the castle, lovely pit stop cafe and prices are great. Views are wonderful and well worth the few euros entry fee to explore the castle grounds. Coffee and cake are a must, visit is most definitely recommended, the surrounding streets with the quaint spainish houses are lovely to also explore.

Interesting place. €2 for seniors. There is a fairly steep tarmacced slope after the entrance, there are other routes up to the top, but steep and very uneven stone paths. Lots of boards with the history around. Lots of different areas to explore including the walls, so if you want to do it all, you'll need a lot of time.Views are good of the surrounding areas. Once outside, there is also a tunnel that runs underneath the castle which is free.

The views are absolutely stunning! There are very few people, so it’s really comfortable to walk around. There’s also a café on the grounds where you can enjoy different drinks with a beautiful view of the sea.

Definitely worth a visit, you will be sweating on a hot day, even if you take the easy road route up to the top. We opted for the hard more but scenic and cultural route making sure we took our time as it was 35deg. Entry is €3 for an adult and €2 for over 65's, the ticket man spoke perfect English and was very helpful. When you make it to the top the views are beautiful with harbour and coastal views. There is a small cafe at the top with a lovely seating area under pine trees, it does close mid afternoon so take a drinknifnyour going after 1400. We walked down the easy route and walked the castle tunnel that runs under the castle, this is free to enter. We parked down at the port car park, reasonably priced at around a €1 and hour and its only 10 mins from the castle.

A good uphill walk to a once thriving castle, little remains and all signs with history in Spanish, thankfully Google Translate helped tremendously. But you can see the history of the place it's mott and bailey,and footprints of the houses. Great views over Denia and harbour,watching the Ibiza ferry's come in. Lovely little cafe in castle at very reasonable price,also toilets,but these are a bit dilapidated.

Peniscola Spain is the beautiful setting for this Castle jewel. It costs 5 euro to tour the Castle and Garden, each. Shoes or sandals with good traction will serve you well as the walk up to the Castle is on very smooth and worn stone steps, walk ways and streets, and dont forget you still have the walk down. This castle is amazing to see in person and has a long and interesting past. Must Visit!

Landmark & Historical Castle This is the Spanish Mont Saint Michel, it is really nice to see and I believe unique in Spain. This Castle sits on the see and looks great from afar. In the town itself you can see a few narrow streets a few restaurants. We enjoyed wandering around here, and can only highly recommend visiting!

Great old Castillo. Knights Template etc. interesting old town with good photo opportunities. €3.50 entrance to the castle for young and concessions such as over 60, a bit upset they didn't query our age.,€5 for normal entry. Enjoyable couple of hours. Large and steep steps in places. Well worth the visit.

Beautiful castle as seen in The Game of Thrones (GOT) Season 6. Well maintained with plenty of beautiful views of the city and beaches. Patking downtown is available. Nice walk up to the castle.

A stunning medieval castle with incredible views over the sea and the old town. Full of history, charm, and beautiful architecture – a must-see when visiting Peñíscola.

Amazing views to the sea, the pennisula, and the local beaches! The view is the best part of the experience, although, the castle does have a rich history, esp.the story of Pope Luna, and the castle garden was used in the shooting of A Game of Thrones. Sun block is recommended. ☀️🇪🇸🌅

Place to be absolutely avoided Very dirty in common areas, toilets areas as well as attractions, with serious risks of getting skin irritation as happened to me ... I unfortunately visited this park this July and it was a carnage. Uncontrolled number of people made the situatuin very caothic. Queues of a minimum of over one hour for each attraction with several blockages and slowdowns due also to the poor preparation of the young and inexperienced staff. Dirty everywhere and unpleasent discussions with other visitors standing to grab your chair or sunbed as soon you get up or, simply because insufficient in numbers compared with the uncontrolled number of people admitted. All of this at the "cheapest " price of 47 Euro ,if you cannot book online in advance for chhosing a fix date, plus 15 Euros for parking and 8 Euros for a small locker.....More than adventure an unpleasent disadventure .....

If you are staying few days around, then you must visit it along with the 2 other parks (portaventura world and ferrari land). However, if you are visiting just for one day, I would suggest just going to Portaventura world instead. We stayed at one of the portavenrura hotels nearby for 3 days to be able to discover all 3 parks (portaventura world, portaventura aquatic park and ferrari land). We spent one day in this caribe aquatic park.

I’m visiting this park every year in the last 10 years. The kids love the place . I’ve decided to give the place minimum score because it doesn’t care about the guest . 2025 is almost 2015 , very little in places shadows . The sun is killing in Spain . And the place doesn’t care about his guests health . The food . I understand it should be expensive as they do the maximum to take any penny they can . Fat food, almost nothing healthy . So above fun , take care of your guests . Put many umbrellas so people can hide from the sun, and sell healthy food.

We were absolutely delighted with our visit to the water park! Since we only had one day, we decided to purchase VIP tickets — and it turned out to be the best choice. They were worth every penny: the VIP lines were minimal, while the regular ticket lines stretched far beyond the designated areas. Thanks to this, we were able to enjoy more attractions without wasting time in queues and fully immerse ourselves in the experience. The atmosphere was fantastic, everything was clean, and the staff was polite and well-organized. I highly recommend it to everyone, especially if your time is limited or if you want to spend the day in maximum comfort.

The worst aqua park I ever been, and I've been in all over the World, from Turkey, UAE to Australia... Not many slides and pools, but the worst of all is that it is too much crowded, there is 3 times more people than capacity! For every slide waiting is more than an hour, some even 2... If you want to eat, more than 1 hour waiting and count minimum 100€ for 4 persons with 1 drink. My advice, if you want to go anyway, buy extra pass and than there is 0 mins waiting.. If you enter at 11am, don't count you will get any sunbeds, it's completely full! Locker rooms also waiting time around 30 minutes and it is 8€ for small and 11€ for bigger bags! Better go once again to PortAventura World and Ferrari World.

Came to the park just with my two kids 12 and 10 in on a Thursday in the May school holiday. Being a single parent, I was quite concerned about the logistics of keeping valuables safe while also enjoying the park with the kids. However, the lockers are quite straightforward - once paid, you get a printout with a locker allocation and a six digit pin. I managed to remember this which meant I could put everything in the locker. I would say these are good for one medium sized rucksack and a few other extras. We got to the park from the Barcelona-Salou train, that gets in a 10 and had bought tickets in advance at the train station - would recommend this or alternatively on line as there are queues for on-site ticket purchasing. The park opened at 11, and there was only a short queue once we got through the bag check zone (that is for all three parks). The water park is great and, at this time of year, it was not very busy - we easily got a lounger under the shaded area and the weather was perfect for us. The slides are great and the queues were minimal throughout the day. The green and blue Barracudas are great (green one is better) and so is El Torrente, which is a big dinghy that can hold up to four each time. Many say the lifeguards blow whistles too much but as long as you know what to do it is fine. As my sunglasses are prescription, it was slightly annoying not being able to wear them on the lazy river or Bahama Beach but I coped. Didn't try the food but had a couple of beers and ice creams. Took a large bottle of water in. In all, would say this is a great time to visit this park. I suspect that in the summer this would not get 5 stars as I expect queues would be much larger and weather too hot!

We had fun at this water park, we got there at opening time on a Monday and it was already very busy and we had to queue for lockers (expensive!). If we were to go again we maybe wouldn't bother with a locker and would leave our things on a sunbed instead as most people seemed to be doing. We had to queue for some slides but we didn't think it was too bad. We spent all day there and went on all of the slides we wanted to and some twice. I do think there must be a more efficient system for the rings though, having to queue to get one then queue again for the slide wasn't ideal. The food was okay, they had veggie hotdogs which were good. You get a reusable cup if you buy a drink. There's no photographers so you won't get a souvenir photo.

Fantastic Day Out at the Water Park We had a fab day out—our kids absolutely loved it! We chose to go on a slightly cloudy day, which worked out perfectly for our youngest (age 5), as it made the heat more bearable. As expected during peak season, the queues were long—around 60 minutes for the popular attractions—but that’s to be expected in August. The park itself was very clean and well-maintained, with plenty of facilities including toilets, lockers, and lots of food and drink options. For lunch, we spent €85 for our family of five. That included 3 junior meals (pizza, chips, pudding, and a drink) and 2 adult meals (fish & chips, and chicken & chips). Food was decent, and service was efficient. Overall, a great family day out. The kids had a blast and will definitely sleep well tonight.

Amazing amusement park! Would definitely go back sometime. The best advice is to buy express pass, as the waiting time for each attraction is between 40-60 minutes. We have visited the park on 16th October and it was so so crowded

PortAventura is full of variety and well worth the visit — but a little planning makes the day smoother with a tip. Bring a refillable bottle, as there are fountains around the park to top up. You’ll need at least 5–6 hours to cover the rides, especially with waiting times. The Express Pass really depends on when you go — we visited on a Tuesday at the end of September and rarely waited more than 30 minutes, though some rides did creep up to 50+ minutes at peak times. A good tip is to go for rides during or just after typical lunch hours, when queues are often much shorter.

Love this theme park . One of the best actual themed parks I've been too . The rides are all amazing. Although have to say was a bit disappointed with uncharted...it could have been so much better. The AR mine train was amazing with the serpents flying over your head. Not been here for 10 years and didn't see many changes or new rides since last time. But still great and my 5 time here

Fantastic Port Aventura World This park has incredible rides, we loved it with my son. Our favourite was Furious Baco ! It was the 1st of January this year, so was not too crowded and a FANTASTIC way for us to begin the year. We will back we loved this park!

Great place with many joyful experiences. There are thrills for all desires. Definitely advise to visit if you like rollercoasters and other exciting experiences. Best to go there in off-season when kids are back to school to avoid long queues. If attending during holiday breaks definitely think about express pass to enjoy there rides and not standing in wait.

Parking was 12 euros. Toilets aren't too far away from each other. Food is very expensive, 12 eur for a hotdog. Park is really big, it takes 20 minutes of walking to reach the opposite side of the park, loads of different themes which is very exciting to look at! Ferrari land has HUGE lines, highly recommend getting pass ticket for the main ride since we waited for almost 5 hours... Overall, the park is really nice and there's much to see x)

Beatiful views, nice walking trails, The basilica and Black Madonna are a must when you visit here, you can take the funicular up the mountain from the visitor center. The outside parking is a bit of a walk and costs 7 euros. You can also park under the basilica for 10 euros for the first 3 hours or for 14 euroa for over 3 hours and up to 24 hours. Convenient for those who have trouble walking or finding parking outside.

Beautiful place. Nestled 1500m above Cataluña in the mountains. Makes you wonder, given its location, who could manage to complete such magnificent structures! I was a little late in the day so only ventured half way up to where the Basílica and the shrine is located. You can feel the history/essence in the air as you sit quietly taking in your surroundings. Also, here is where the Virgin Of Montserrat is located. After passing the patron saint of Cataluña, you can choose to veer off and enter a stained glass, oval shaped prayer room. DON'T skip out....well worth taking a seat and just reflecting for a couple of minutes. Family friendly. Lots of outdoor space. The views, well you just have to see for yourself!

Magnifcent monument. Must see. I recomend train from Barça and cable car. You can buy combined ticket. Easy. Tickets for Basilica and other are available on spot without waiting. At 13.00 hrs every working day there is a short concert from Boys choir. Must se and listen. It's beautifull. Like Walking on clouds. After you must touch the Earth in Black Madona right hand. At last I recenzent visita a wiewpoint at St. Mathew's cross. On spot can be chilly. This is the place that I'll deffinetly visit again.

One of the most beautiful places I have visited in Barcelona Spain! Highly recommend everyone to come! We took the train cable car up to the mountain! Not many tourists were there! The views are absolutely breathtaking The cathedral was sooo beautiful and peaceful! ☺️

We went here on a tour and I was so happy we did. I loved it that the vendors as you approach the monastery are descendants of those who sold the same cheeses and products decades if not eons ago. The Black Madonna was an inspiring experience and we really enjoyed the art museum as well. I have never seen it even referenced but it was amazing.

This is a must-do day trip! We booked a small group tour via Viator. Our guide, a local, took us by train to Montserrat station, where we then took a cable car to the summit of the mountain. She gave us a great tour. We saw and were able to touch the black Madonna. We hiked to the St. Michael cross and were blown away by the views!

Had a great experience visiting Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey! The view was absolutely breathtaking, and the place had such a peaceful and spiritual vibe. It’s one of those spots where you really feel connected to nature and history at the same time. Definitely worth the trip if you’re visiting Barcelona! ⛰️🙏
