Quite the amazing experience and not what I expected. We are not royal followers but loved this place. Indian style architecture on the exterior with much more east asian influenced art on the interior. Gorgeous interiors with so much detail, the opulence of it all astounded us and made us sad at the same time. Amazingly well restored to its original state. Even the behind the scenes like the kitchen were impressive. Spent about 45 minutes. National Art Pass had free admission included.

My dear, one simply must experience the Royal Pavilion. It is, to put it mildly, a magnificent and rather scandalous confection of a building, a triumph of architectural audacity over good sense. One feels that King George IV, in a fit of sublime madness, decided to erect a palace that was less a home and more a spectacular, and slightly over-decorated, opium dream. To call it 'Indian' in style is to show a charming ignorance of geography. It is, rather, a whimsical and theatrical interpretation of the Orient, as imagined by a man with too much money and an insatiable desire for novelty. The onion domes and minarets are quite a spectacle, and one is inclined to applaud the sheer chutzpah of it all. Inside, the effect is even more pronounced. The Banqueting Room is a riot of dragons, lotuses, and gilded bamboo, a testament to the belief that more is always, in fact, more. One can almost see the Prince Regent, draped in silks, holding court amongst such exquisite vulgarity. It is a place of delightful excess, a monument to a time when taste was a matter of flamboyant display rather than dreary restraint. To visit is to be reminded that the truly interesting life is one lived in glorious and unashamed extravagance.

This royal palace is well worth a visit! It's Eastern decor and interior bring it to life. Geometric wallpaper, patterned carpets and luxury bedrooms, you'll find them all! Can be slightly expensive but worth the money. Your visit will take between an hour and two depending how much you want to read.

We visited the Royal Pavilion yesterday and had a wonderful experience. We bought tickets that are valid for a full year, and one of them was a local ticket with a discount of about five pounds. We were also offered a QR code for the audio guide for two pounds. The audio guide did not load on one phone, so the staff kindly provided a device with the audio guide free of charge. The service was attentive and very helpful. There is a beautiful themed exhibition dedicated to Jane Austen, and the entire place is filled with a magical Christmas atmosphere. Everything was charming and truly enjoyable. The Royal Pavilion is an absolute delight to visit.

The beautiful Royal Pavillion is well worth a visit. Luxury luxury luxury. King George certainly liked the spectacular. It is all very well presented and is stunning I particularly liked the kitchen - have a good look round to spot interesting fun items. It takes 2-3 hours but, unlike many stately homes/palaces, there are a few places where you can sit a while to take in the stunning architecture and decor. Great value for money. Thank you to everyone responsible for maintaining this magnificent piece of history in sunny Brighton.

First visit in many years and it all seemed 'new'. A museum guide gave an excellent commentary as we entered and later in the dining room. It's a grossly overdone interior and fascinating to learn about. Brilliant gift shop too.

Nice to walk around and enjoy the sea view, but the visit is quite short. The pier is mostly filled with attractions, arcade games, and lots of food stalls (churros, donuts, etc.), so not much else to really do. Still, it’s a beautiful spot and worth seeing for the view over the sea and the coastline.

Brighton Beach is a lively seaside spot full of energy and charm. The pebble shore, colorful promenade, and iconic pier make it a fun place to relax, eat, and explore. It can get crowded in summer, but the atmosphere is always vibrant.

Always worth a visit. Especially with kids. Nothing amazing or groundbreaking but perfect for a couple of hours. Playing the 2pence machines is fun and cheap. The waterslide and some other fares, a 🍦 to round it off, what more do you want!

Brighton Pier is such an iconic place to visit. £2 entry to the pier. Lots to see, do, eat and experience. A trip back in time with rides, amusement games, soft serve ice creams, fish and chips, and lovely ocean views. You do need to purchase separate tickets for the rides. Go as an adult and feel like a kid again.

Brighton Pier holds a very sentimental place in my heart because it reminds me of being a child on holiday. Charging to enter the pier is not good, though I do see to maintain it, the money has to come from somewhere. Of course. From the council would be better. I love the food stalls, independent shops, rides, bars and cafes. Especially Horatio’s and Sunset bar. I’d like to see more about the history of the pier and how the money is used to maintain it. Plus, I always thought the mirrors were scratched but they are little birds!

Absolutely lovely place to visit. Great vibe, a lot of people during summer season, a lot of things to do for everyone, no matter of the age. Funfairs, bars, restaurants, souvenir shop and other nice places to visit. You can rent a chair for £5 or sub bed for £10 for the whole day, collector is walking around. Also, pls bring flip flops as it’s very hard to walk on stones.

Brighton Palace Pier is the heart of the city’s seaside charm. A lovely place to stroll along the beach, enjoy the sea breeze, and take in the views — even when the waves are a little wild. The pier is full of fun attractions and games, perfect for families, couples, or friends. At night, the lights create a magical atmosphere that makes it a must-see when visiting Brighton.

Monet's house and Gardens were a must see on my trip to France. We were just there a few weeks ago (late September) and the gardens were lush and absolutely stunning. We had entry tickets at 12pm and didnt have to wait. It was a great time of year to visit, we got a mix of very colorful flowers, autumn changes starting but also a good amount of water lilies that had bloomed. Really stunning. We walked into the town of Giverny after walking through the house and gardens and it was such a quaint town. We stopped at the Giverny chocolat shop, very good! Highly recommend a stop in Giverny!

Always wanted to visit and I wasn't disappointed. Even in mid October, the gardens are still beautiful with many flowers in bloom. The lily pond had a bit of scum on but still pretty. The house is lovely. So many original photos and paintings, though few of Monet's. Then of course there is the shop. Lots of lovely gifts and books. Plenty of free parking with free overnight campervan parking nearby.

Visiting Claude Monet’s house has been my dream, and it finally came true. The place is truly stunning and incredibly captivating from a design perspective. Every detail is beautifully crafted, and the colors are chosen to perfection. The garden is well-kept and absolutely gorgeous, with the iconic lily pond I had always wanted to see - simply remarkable. The entire estate is so well maintained, and being there felt like touching something truly sublime.

We stopped here on our way to Normandy from Paris and were amazed at all the blooming flowers in late September. Monet’s house was a quaint cottage with beautiful views of the gardens. The restaurant food was delicious and the server was wonderful. Highly recommend it!

I don't know where to start! The house is a piece of art the gardens are pieces of art, the whole town is cute! Absolutely beautiful. Things that should be considered, how to get there, the season, the crowd, so that you know what to expect,I've been there twice, in June it was super hot super crowded but beautiful, and in October , chill weather less crowded, less flowers but the trees were magical

It was quite crowded for a rainy October day. I think it's quite difficult to get there in the summer. When you get off the train from Paris, you have two transportation options: a shuttle and a bus that resembles a children's train. Both cost 10 euros. I don't think the shuttle bus runs between 1:20 and 3:20, so keep that in mind when planning your return train. Monet's extensive Japanese collection was quite striking. The interior was quite colorful. If you don't plan to spend much time taking photos and want to explore the village, 3-3.5 hours is more than enough. There's an interesting mechanical museum in Giverny, open from 2 pm to 6 pm. Time your visit accordingly for a more enjoyable trip. Other than that, it's a typical European village.

Absolutely beautiful but very very crowded. The gardens are very easy to walk with wonderful displays of flowers. The lake is spectacular The house is easy to navigate and quite lovely we had approximately a 15 min queue to enter. I would advise you to buy tickets on line before hand the queues for tickets were massive. We got on line tickets so had no wait time. Parking is plentiful and free. There's a good choice of restaurants and cafes just outside the gardens they are quite pricey.

Impressive,monumental cathedral in every sense of the word. With highly detailed, intricate sculptures piling on every inch of the building, it is a stunning, beautiful structure all around. There is a large tent set up in the front currently, perhaps for a reception or important event, it obstruct part of the front view. Walk around and to the back, the design continues to impress. There are cafe shops, restaurants and fast food takeout, pastries, souvenir shops nearby. The uniquely frrncg architecture, medieval looking town is so quaint and pretty to visit. Wear comfortable shoes as the town is walkable and all cobblestoned, it can be hard on the feet after a while. There are several other great attractions earby such as the large clock, Jeanne D'Arc church...all are must-see monuments. I didn't go inside the cathedral (not religious) just love European flares, history and art.

The church is beautiful and impressive! You can spend a good time admiring all the details on it. During the evening (10:30pm) they had a light show - it was SO BEAUTIFUL. It had history and beauty in the show and it was captivating. It’s for free, you just need to get around the church and enjoy the free experience. Highly recommend.

Huge impressive cathedral. Tribute to Jeanne d'Arc. Unfortunately, some parts have been distroyed in WW2, and renovated using concrete, and glass windows, instead of vitrages.

Impressive cathedral with wonderful stained glass windows and a crypte. You don’t need to be history or architecture savvy to appreciate this! The impressive tree next to the cathedral was planted in 1797 to commemorate the French Revolution.

Glorious cathedral both inside and out and the 10:30 light show was worth the wait. There are so many intricate designs and figures throughout the building that you could spend hours just checking them out.

Visiting the iconic Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris was an absolutely breathtaking experience. It’s truly one of the world’s most stunning architectural masterpieces. It’s amazing to see how beautifully it’s been restored after the devastating fire in 2019. The cleaned marble and vibrant stained glass made the interior glow like never before! Even with the long line (though I’m glad it moved quickly!), it was worth every second. There’s something so magical about standing inside a place with so much history and artistry. Seeing the rose windows, the stained glass windows, the sculptures, and the architecture was awe-inspiring. Notre-Dame always leaves a lasting impression. This 850 years old treasure is back and as magnificent as ever. If you are in Paris it is definitely a must see.

The natural formation is in itself spectacular but it's the color of the ocean around it, the color of the cliffs, the sound of the ocean, the waves, the cries of the seagulls, the tall grass growing on the hills bending to the wind, the wild flowers, creating that picturesque landscape, all coming together for an unforgettable experience and ambience. When it's cloudy, the colors are so special somehow. The walk up to either side to the see the views is not bad at all, like a ten minute climb. Enjoy your experience! Take a picnic up to the top of the hill to enjoy the serenity longer!

A piece of heaven. Loved the place long time back when I went there for work and fall in love with it. A wonderful place with an amazing view. This time spent a full day and weather was exactly what you expected to have the best experience. A must see place in west of France

What more can you say? Stunning natural rock formations, a postcard-worthy arch, crashing waves, and... scattered German concrete bunkers. It’s a mix of dramatic cliffs, windswept plains, and wartime history that somehow works. The views are breathtaking from both above and below — and when the wind picks up, walking becomes a full-body sport. A place that impresses without even trying. :)

Absolute must see in the Normandy, breathtaking views and a unique feeling. Very crowdy, don’t try to park in the city , you will fail :) better to stay a kilometer or so before the coast and take a walk instead. Or go there early in the morning, then you will be able to find a parking spot near the edge. Otherwise be prepared paying 25euros / day to locals offering parking spaces in their gardens :) Lot of restaurants and shops in the area, but most important are views from the cliffs. There’s also a small „train” which takes you to the cliff on the right (that one with church on the top) .

The arch and scenary is, like in so many places around the coast of Normandy, incredible. Walking to the top is worth it if you want to enjoy the view. A few things to note: Walking to the top takes a while and may be exhausting. Given the step stairs, it is impossible for people having problems with walking or stairs. Though some basic railing exists, especially children should be very careful. Especially around summer the area is a tourist hot spot and therefore full of people. This will certainly slow you down too.

This place is amazing! If you are into hiking, I'll recommend to you to park your car outside the downtown. Go to parking area so called "my parking etretat" and then walk few minutes to small street called "Petit Valaine". At the beginning it's lil bit climby and then you will find big field on your left, and golf course area on your right. Just walk following the golf shape of the golf course until you'll find the magnificent view. This path is unofficial walk, but I saw some local going through this path and also this path is MUCH better because there is no STEEP stairs (I noticed the official path has steep stairs). So with this path, you will just go downhill instead of uphills. Worth to try.

It is a very inspiring place, even Monet created 90 paintings on Etretat as subject , amazing place that make me spend two week to paint it in impasto style

Unbelievably beautiful cathedral! Have seen quite a few in my lifetime but this one was special. Beautifully restored and not too busy. Loved the inside even more than the outside.

If you are only in Chartres for a few hours spend them visiting the incredible and Architecturally astounding Cathedral. Being the first UNESCO awarded and supported further by the volume of original stain glass. If able to stay for the evening the light show on and around this Cathedral and the surrounding Chartres centre is highly recommended.

Beautiful cathedral of Chartres. They made beautiful renovations, everything is really clear and neat. Even with clouds and no sunshine, the inside is bright enough to see through the painted glasses of the windows. They are marvelous piece of art. If you have the chance to be in the area, you should take the time to walk there and look for yourself how gigantic and stunning it is. What actually surprised me the most is how modern they are inside. They have contactless payment card machine for donation at each corner of the cathedral. So if you don't have coins like me, you can still use your card to pay to lit a candle or novena. The hours of the priest are written on a card board inside. The confessional is brightly litten and has a priest waiting inside for anyone who wants to confess theirs sins. This is unseen for me before today in France. There is also a treasury room which you have to pay to access it. Overall a great place to visit. I advise to park your car at the parking lot of Cathedral. There almost non existant place to park there.

Magnificent, historic, surrounded by lots of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops and not flooded with tourists when we visited. Chartres is an utterly beautiful city well worth a couple of days of your time. BEWARE, the cathedral is atop a hell of a climb up through steeply sloped streets.

An excellent holy place in the heart of Chartres, our lady of Chartres Cathedral is a must visit. You can visit during the day for prayer and tourism and during the night for an exquisite laser show. Enjoy...

One of the greatest High Gothic cathedrals now reinvented with its controversial very light painting of the pillars and vaulted ceilings… it grew on me as we walked round, I concluded it’s wonderful not least by setting off the magical 13th C stained glass. We love the way it feels it’s still an active place of worship, not the case in all French cathedrals.

A beautiful cathedral that easily rivals the Paris equivalent. We were lucky to visit at a time where it was illuminated at night. Very impressive. However if you're visiting the crypt, make sure you are told correctly where the tour starts, as we were given wrong instructions and therefore missed it. Staff could have been more helpful here.

Mixed feeling….from one side castle is too crowded (with a lot of people playing with tablet used as travel guides)….but from the other side castle is huge and magnificent….I suggest (if possible) to visit it during not risk hours…

Beautiful castle - like from fairy tales. Very interesting show with horses - some history of the castle and France presented in a playful way. Lots of gift shops. Shops with local alcohol and charcuterie. Highly recommended to visit!

Gorgeous, breathtaking castle. It's absolutely massive. The sheer size of the castle is impressive and so is the history. Really inform yourself about it before you visit to appreciate it more. There is a room to the left as you enter the castle thah shows informative movies about it's history and architecture. I am giving it 4 stars because even with the map it was a bit of a challenge of having a cohesive visit. We kept checking the map to make sure we didn't miss anything. I would try finding creative ways of guiding visitors better in a better flow with some creative/visible signages. The inside of the castle isn't as impressive as other castles. The outside is alot nicer.

Castle of Chambord is magnificent. The view from outside is astonishing. The inside is a bit empty but the architecture is really interesting from the outside and inside mainly on stairs. You can see the Kings' room and collections that are there. Gardens is beautiful and symetrics as french garden's specialty.

Highly recommence to spend a day in here 😍 and many steps 😂. A stunning Château with history. Take some small tour if possible, that you can go up to the latern tower which is the highest point to have great overview. Or there is a tour to explain about the history and architecture as well - by that you could enter a secret place of the Chateau.

I went on this short trip with La Voyagerie Parisienne. They are very nice, the trip was well organised. The castle is very beautiful, the garden is very big but we didn’t have enough time to go there. I will come back in future for sure

A stunning place to go, found the WWII room very interesting. Not to much inside to look at, however the chateau on the outside is beautiful. Would recommend 3 hours to look at everything and there a lot of steep steps!

Our tour was just incredible! Ana was our guide and Sebastien was our driver. They were simply amazing and so knowledgeable. I thought I knew a lot about WWII until Ana shared some amazing stories and facts on our tour. Highly recommend!!!

It was amazing, well designed and very interesting. There’s also a bunker and a special price for students (€6). Many interesting displays are worth seeing, and I would definitely recommend visiting this place.

Fabulous museum. Excellent presentation of the historical path leading to WW2 and the subsequent events, not only in Europe but across the world. Balanced and even handed treatment of the role played by all sides (good and bad). Good blend of objects, images, videos and textual explanation. Perfect closure to a few days visiting the historical sites of the area. Highly recommended.

This is “THE” Normandy to take. Private tour with our wonderful guide Lena. Very knowledgeable and so informative. If you don’t want headphones and don’t want to read every placard this is the best way to get the Normandy experience. Even if you are not a WWII buff or into WWII history you will really enjoy this tour. I highly recommend it.

A pure and epic monument to the battle of Normandy and more. If you're travelling to or through Caen, this is a must see for all. Beautiful grounds, incredible memorials and history.

This was a very enjoyable and informative tour of the D-Day landing beaches. Our guide, Oliver, had great knowledge and had a very interesting way of telling the vast history surrounding the whole area.

I found my visit to the Bayeux Tapestry Museum to be fascinating. The audio tour was engaging. The rest of the Museum is engaging, and visitors learn plenty of history. PLEASE NOTE: tickets can only be purchased at the door; no tickets are sold online. I visited in August, on a Saturday in the late afternoon, and I only had to wait around ten minutes.

Visiting the Bayeux Museum was an unforgettable experience. The tapestry itself is perhaps the most extraordinary exhibit we have ever seen. The audio guide was excellent and made the story come alive. We felt very lucky to visit on the second-to-last day before the tapestry closed for restoration until 2027.

Nice little museum in Bayeux housing the famous Bayeux tapestry depicting the story of the battle of Hastings 1066.. In fine embroidery detail... Surprisingly how long and how detailed it is.... and definitely worth seeing if in the area.. Entry fee of around €12.. Fyi.. the museum is closing September for refurbishment and the tapestry is coming to London to be displayed Yes worth a visit and certainly take time to explore the town

Great museum to visiting, however it's too crowded. Consider arriving as early as possible in the morning to avoid waiting for hours to enter. Although an audio guide is included, it can't be paused once activated, leading many visitors to rush through viewing a tapestry in about 20 minutes and then leave after. On the other hand, story and details deserve to remain in the main exposition for as long as you want and explore multiple times.

Big queues if you haven't already got a joint ticket from another of the town's museums. Amazing to see this wonderful art in person. Somewhat spoiled by the man videoing his way along (against the rules!) and the people holding up the line - they could really do with a staff member in the tapestry room to chaperone. Also there was the bonus exhibition of Pixi models, including their rendition of the tapestry. The museum is closed from 1st Sept 2025 for 2 years while a new display space is being built.

Surprisingly good for children. They get their own separate audio guide which keeps it moving, and keeps it interesting. We were out in 30 minutes. The tour could have been longer for adults certainly! The tapestry is incredible, precious, expressive and enlightening. UNESCO listed, as almost 1,000 years old.

We had a wonderful family visit to the zoo! My children absolutely loved seeing the animals up close, and it was such a joy to watch their excitement. The animals all seem to be in excellent conditions, with spacious and well-maintained habitats. It’s clear that the staff take great care in providing a safe and comfortable environment for them. A perfect place for a family day out!

This is easily one do the best zoos in the world. Whereas in many zoos you would see animals and feel sad for them given their conditions, this zoo does not make you feel this. You will see many caretakers and staff who clean enclosures, feed regularly and perfectly adapted food to the animals at regular intervals throughout the day etc. Despite going there over a hot time, the animals were still visible, yet they all had a closed enclosure in a cooler area. This zoo genuinely loves animals, and you can see it. Their two spectacles with the sea lions and the birds were really great and shows even further the care they give to all these animals. I went there on a weekday, yet there was a fair amount of people, I advise going as soon as the park opens to explore it at its finest time.

The most amazing zoo I’ve ever been too. The experience here was next level, all of th animal enclosures are spotless and well maintained, all the animals had enrichment and plenty of space. The cable car was a fantastic addition and of course the beautiful pandas stole the show!!

Downsides: •The entrance and food queues are very crowded, with long waits, and there aren’t many benches. (Food is not bad) •Also, if you come with a stroller or have mobility issues, be prepared for quite a bit of uphill walking. Upsides: •Beautiful place with lovely paths and lots of shade. •Even though it was crowded, parking was well organized, and the animals have large areas where they seem happy and well cared for. (The views of them from different spots are wonderful.) Overall, definitely worth a visit! ⭐️

Very nice zoo, seems to take animal welfare very seriously. Overheard some other guests complain they 'did not see the wolves very well and the Parc should cut down the trees'. Actually glad they give each animal species what they need to feel as comfortable as possible. The zoo has plenty of small playgrounds for intermezzo's with children, there are lots of restaurants and stalls all scattered around, there's a big parking lot and queuing went very smoothly... The shops are nice but diverse. Definitely recommend!

The best zoo I have been too - both in terms of layout and variety of animals. Easy to spend a whole day here. Food options are numerous. Well worth a visit.

Great little zoo, bring your walking boots and be prepared for steep inclines. Made it round the whole zoo in a day. Highlights for us were the Giant Pandas, Koalas, Hippos and Manatee. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for something to do.

Simply magical place. Among all the other Chateau's quite unique because of its location. The exhibitions are nice and it is not overwhelming. The gardens and parks around are beautiful, with plenty of benches to sit down and relax. I recommend doing a quick wine tasting in the wine cellar, maybe not the most engaging or informative but still a nice experience. This place is definitely worth the trip.

Visiting Château de Chenonceau was a wonderful experience. The castle is elegant and romantic, beautifully set over the river, and surrounded by lovely gardens. I loved the charm and history of the place — it feels both graceful and full of life. Truly one of the most beautiful castles on the Loire Valley.

This chateau was the best chateau we have visited in France. The restoration, presentation and information available was first class. So much history from one location. Kind of overwhelming as you slowly self-guide around. Recommend Autumn as the time to visit with trees in their gold, red, and orange phases.

One of the most spectacular chateaus in the Louire Valley. A rich, storied history, amazing views, and beautiful gardens make this a must see place to visit! Seriously, come visit!

Chenonceau Château is a beautiful chateau built 1513-1517 across the River Cher. It has a friendly atmosphere and elegant design. Walking around inside, you see its rich history with unique rooms like the Louis XIV drawing room, Catherine de Medici’s bedroom, and are magnificent. Spanning the river is a long impressive gallery. The kitchen would be the envy of any chef! The Medici gardens beside the chateau are tidy, peaceful, and carefully arranged with boxwood, roses, and lavender. The garden is made up of lawn panels around a circular pond, giving lovely views of the castle and its surroundings. It’s a great place to stroll and relax, making your visit even more special.

Very beautiful but crowed. Big and meaningful. I didn’t have time to finished all the Château and the Jardin but it’s all fine and beautiful

We had a fantastic day out at the Chateau it has stunning gardens and a lovely restaurant that serves nice food don't be put off by the queue it's worth the wait. If you want to go inside and look around the Chateau you will need to book ahead at the entrance. The garden has some very welcome spray showers to keep visitors cool in the very hot weather.

What a great and different theme park. We didn't know what to expect as one of the kids found it on Google Maps so we went at 5pm the same day (cheaper tickets). It was really good. You probably need the while day to get round all major attractions, I think there's 22. But we went on loads and did most of the top 10 rides (according to Google searches and AI). Plenty of food and drink places and the Cique de Soller show at 10pm was worth staying on for. A fun evening for this family of 4.

This was an enjoyable visit, helped by being almost deserted in the first week of October. As anyone considering going will know its more about experiences than rides, and many were good. Some however are beginning to feel a little dated. The rapid progress in computer imaging means some of the older ones are feeling a bit low res. I'd be dissapointed with many if I'd needed to wait 45mins to see them. Your French needs to be fairly good to enjoy it. There is a wifi app that suposedly allows for simultaneous translations of many if the 'exhibits', I could never get it to work. The light show at the end was fabulous, and the food available in the park is amazing. No greasy burgers here.

Best to visit off season when it is less busy. The park is nicely laid out and very clean and tidy. The rides and various experiences are excellent. Make sure you the show in the evening as it is a spectacular display for all of the family. The food outlets are great but perhaps a little pricey. The mission to Mars and dancing with the robots are incredible. In the dancing on you are strapped to a chair and thrown about even turning upside down to music.

Loved it. Really chilled. No rip off prices. The park and structures are beautiful. Less in the wY of big rides and more of the 4d type experiences but some of the best we've seen anywhere. Great day out. Heartily recommend

Cinematic universe for all the family! Not the old school huge rollercoasters us Brit’s are used to and at first I was very confused where everything actually was! Most is indoor too. Lots of great Halloween displays. Food was expensive and not of good quality. We had lunch in the park but ate outside for dinner.

We had tickets booked in advance. We spent one day in the park from 10 am to 11 pm. We had a very lovely time. The park has been greatly updated, and it's very cool, focused on imagining technologies. Danse with robots, chausseurs de tornades, objectif Mars, and Bermudes triangles, were among our favorites. We had cutting line tix for 5 attractions, and it was greatly appreciated and valuable. Food options were good. Some negatives: the narrative voices on movies aren't very good and often out of tone. I used a bathroom, it was flooded with an inch of dirty water. Overall, we spent an amazing day.

As an 'adult' we had a grand time here. We started with an evening arrival, grabbed a couple of rides, supper on site & was ready for the evening show at 22.45 which is the highlight of the day. The following day we ventured back in for opening at 10 & didn't leave until 7. If you go during the week & don't speak French you'll have to look at the App (which is very good) to find out what all the rides are about. They all have a science or space bent. We were there on a Tuesday - loads of school kids - there is some 'soft' learning in the background. We queued for a few rides but during the summer I would imagine a fast pass would be required of you have no patience - mine was stretched to almost breaking point. Not all rides were open but there was enough. Lunch at lunchtime, very few options open if you don't. Ice cream is excellent & most but not all staff can speak some english but it's good to have some phrases under your belt. Evening catering starts in various forms from 6.30. My advice : go....there isn't anything like it anywhere. Think sci-fi mixed with heros. If you have kids, they are well catered for. There are hotels in site but we stayed off site. Comfy shoes - we did 17k steps!!

It has been an unforgettable experience. The shows we attended were of great quality, including the costumes and staging. I must point out that it seemed to me that the sound was playback rather than live, and the simultaneous translation was slightly out of sync in some shows. Of course, it’s impossible to see everything in just one day, but even so, it’s well worth the visit — highly recommended for the whole family.

Love this park. As a family went have been visiting since 1989. We have seen so many changes over the years. It never ceases to amaze us every visit. We have a season pass as we now live in the area, so far this season we have been every week,our family of 4 and their families are avid Puy du fou fans,the grandchildren absolutely love it!. Great options for food,coffee and snacks. Gift shops well stocked with various memorabilia and various artisan shops in the medival and viking villages. Fun for all the family and all ages with not a ride in sight! A wonderful way to immerse yourself in french history and appreciate the performers enthusiasm in doing what they obviously love doing. The cinecine is something else,a must see,indescribable....see for yourself.

As you will need to walk around and spend time to line up, a detailed plan is very necessary in order to finish all the programs. Every shows are giving surprises to the audience. Very impressive. Bravo 🎉

This place was incredible, we booked last minute not knowing what to expect and it did not disappoint. A lot of the shows are quite close together so we did have to run to catch them but there are hotels so you could stay for 2 days and see all the shows in good time. As a theme park it is a little pricey but this was to be expected. Make sure you take some headphones so you can translate the shows!

What a place! A must do if you're looking for a unique experience with a tint of French history across the time. The well equipped parc is huge, so make sure that you wear comfy shoes! Booking in advance is a must, and depending on the time of the year you'll be visiting Le Puy du Fou, you might face waiting queues before attending the most rated shows... I strongly suggest that you download the apps, that will help you to organise your visit. We managed to watch the best shows, keeping us time to visit the parc, the villages replicas and indulge ourselves at some of the restaurants as well. Special thanks to all the dedicated staff, you are doing a great job! We had a great stay and we'll come back for sure.

If you don’t speak French bear in mind you will be some what left in the dark here outside of the shows. None of the signage show any English and the shows are obviously in French but you can use the live translation if you’ve got the app. The shows however are outstanding even if you don’t know what’s being said very impressive indeed. Worth the visit.

We spent a few days at Puy du Fou and were absolutely blown away by the experience. The quality of the shows, both indoor and outdoor, is phenomenal. I had visited the park as a child about 20 years ago and was already impressed back then, but what it has become today is on an entirely different level. The scale and sophistication of the productions are unlike anything else. From massive sets to special effects that leave you wondering how it's even possible, every show is a true spectacle. The immersive experiences are just as unforgettable and add another layer to the journey through time. The scheduling of the shows is incredibly well thought out. We barely waited more than 15 or 20 minutes between each performance. Visiting just before the high season probably helped, but still, the whole day flowed smoothly without feeling rushed or overcrowded. Some historical events are presented with a certain angle, but that’s part of the park’s narrative style. It doesn’t take away from the fact that this is great entertainment at its finest. We truly loved our stay and would recommend Puy du Fou to anyone looking for unique and breathtaking live entertainment.

Top tip for visiting this aquarium - book your tickets in advance online otherwise you will queue for ages to buy tickets only to be given a later time slot to return! Once inside, the aquarium is full of amazing tanks full of fish and other sea life. The tanks are well labelled in both French and English and you can follow the numbered tanks around the aquarium so that you don’t miss anything. We visited on a Monday during summer school holidays - the aquarium was really busy, but you still get to see everything.

A wonderful and informative aquarium, well maintained and clean. Highlight was the sharks of course, but had lots to see and examine. Reasonable priced too, especially if you're from the UK where aquariums are prohibitively expensive. One other thing to note, it is all accessible for pushchairs, prams and wheelchairs.

There's a lot to see hear, from the jellyfish at the entrance to the sharks at the end and endless fish in between. It's divided into different areas, Mediterranean, Carribbean and tropical for some and the tour flows well. It was quiet when I visited, but can get very busy, so I would recommend choosing a quieter time.

Practical side: Practically speaking, it was a mess. We had bought our tickets online, thinking it would save us time. Our slot was at 11:00, so we joined the line early since we didn’t know how long it would take. By 10:45 we reached the staff member at the entrance, but he told us we were too early and had to leave the line. Just five minutes later, people with 11:00 tickets were allowed in! When we rejoined, the line had tripled in length. So instead of saving time, we ended up waiting much longer. They even split the line to “speed things up,” which actually delayed us even more. On top of that, special discounts (for students, people with disabilities, etc.) weren’t available when booking online. The visit: As for the visit itself, it was one of the dullest aquaria I’ve ever seen. First of all, it was extremely crowded – surprising for a Thursday in late August – to the point where it felt claustrophobic and we often couldn’t even see the tanks. We walked through everything in about half an hour. Some fish were kept in very small tanks, with no mention anywhere about animal welfare or what the aquarium does to prevent harm. Many tanks just looked artificial, with fish placed in unnatural settings. There was also no clear storyline or structure. In other aquariums you often see a logical build-up (from shallow to deep water, or small to large species) but here it was just one similar-looking room after another: blue walls and a few glass tanks. There were no interactive elements, no feeding demonstrations, and no educational content about pollution, climate change, or conservation – all things you’d expect nowadays. For that, paying €18.50 is way overpriced.

Too many tickets sold per time slot. Our slot said 150 tickets left so we thought it would be quiet, instead met with massive queues, crowds and stressful experience.

Very amusing, especially for kids. We went on a rather quite time of the month, so we h didnt have to wait in line and the aquarium wasn't very busy. Very lovely experience, I'd go there again!

Wow... Such a great experience. Family of 3 and we loved it. The zoo was impeccably clean and the staff were all super friendly. Being able to get so close to the animals is amazing. Feeding the Giraffes, zebra, ostrich, goats and Tortoise is such a great experience, my daughter absolutely loved it. They sell pop corn to feed the animals.. this is a must do as it adds so much fun to the day. There is a very large array of animals to see and you just keep getting wowed by them. I would most certainly recommend this zoo to anyone thinking of visiting.

Another great activity to do with toddlers in La Palmyre is visiting La Palmyre Zoo. You should plan around 4 hours to see the entire zoo at a comfortable pace. There are so many animals to discover, and interactive areas where kids can feed and gently stroke the giraffes and goats. The zoo is very family-friendly: stroller accessible, clean, and well-organized with shaded areas to rest. There are also a few restaurants and snack points inside, especially during the summer months, which is super convenient when visiting with children. They also offer sea lion and parrot shows, which are fun and engaging for kids, it’s a good idea to check the show schedule on their website so you don’t miss them. Overall, a fantastic place to spend half a day with toddlers and kids while learning about animals and enjoying nature!

I had never been to a French zoo before and had assumed an experience similar to Dublin Zoo...it's very different. Firstly the animals are far closer and more "accessible". The first enclosure for the flamingos is literally inside the front door, and they are arms length away at points. The flamingos looked vibrant and happy in the 30 degree sunshine, flaunting their sunny pinkness to their Dublin comrades. Our first port of call was the Giraffes...where u can literally feed them popcorn from your hand!! My first impression was I'm back in a Victorian Zoo, with an elephant ride up next...but I really enjoyed it!! Seeing the animals up close is a completely different experience. I'm sure there are raging debates in zoologist circles about the wisdom of hand feeding Giraffes popcorn...But they certainly seemed to enjoy it. My son loves Giraffes and this blew his mind. There is a lot to do and see, and on a warm day we picked out a few highlights. There is an amphitheatre where u can watch the sea lions perform tricks for food. 2 shows daily but we missed this. Wouldn't be a big fan of this so not bothered. The elephant enclosure again was far more accessible, there is a small mote with almost 360 degrees viewing angles. U could buy some sort of nuts to feed the elephants. I was initially horrified as I could see people throwing things across to the elephants, before I realized it was allowed. Kinda not sure about this. Turned this majestic animal into a Jack Russel looking for treats (with killer tusks). The enclosure was very large, so I guess they could wander off if it was bothering them 😕 Towards the back of the zoo there are chimps and orangutans. Given the scorcher of a day these animals were flaked out in the shade. Their enclosure was huge with an indoor area too. Lots of waterfalls, Jurassic Park vibes. We finished the trip seeing alligators and reptiles! There is plenty to do and see, with food options too. Huge free car park beside it, about €74 for a family ticket for 4. Worth a visit if u are in the area.

There are vending machines around the park for drinks that are dated and don’t accept NFC payments. Don’t forget cash. Sea lion show was impressive back in the day but has lost its luster over the years. Kids still enjoyed it but as an adult found it missing something this time around.

Amazing Zoo, set in a woodland. You are really close to the animals & you can get in with goats & feeding them is so much fun. Great day out, well priced & plenty of free parking

Very nice park, highly recommended! Great variety of animals, the enclosures looked very good and the staff is friendly. However, when emus are stealing the maps from visitors and goats are getting stuck in backpacks (causing a ten-minute stampede in the petting zoo), you could argue it needs a little more supervision.

A really well kept zoo, spotlessly clean with decent sized enclosures. The animals don't seem stressed. A good point: you can get face to face with the giraffes. A down point: the sealion show was only in the afternoon so we missed it.

The 'water mirror' opposite of the bourse buildings is awesome! Such an excellent idea! This artist may get followers and copy cats all over the globe. The water is refreshing, makes the public happy and relaxed, allows kids to enjoy a city visit and provides poor citizens with a place where they can mingle with everyone else in a relaxed way. It also gives enough water for great flowers and the gardens/park pieces next to the water mirror. And, when quiet, the reflection doubles the grandeur of the bourse buildings. Best place of Bordeaux in my opinion.

I visited Place de la Bourse in Bordeaux at night and it was a wonderful experience. The whole area looked magical with the lights reflecting on the beautiful old buildings and the famous water mirror. The fountain and lighting together created a peaceful and charming atmosphere. I spent a few hours just walking around, watching the reflections, and enjoying the calm breeze from the river. The place was lively yet serene — people relaxing, children playing, and tourists taking photos. It’s one of those spots where you can simply sit and take in the beauty of the city. If you are in Bordeaux, an evening visit to Place de la Bourse is a must. It truly captures the heart and elegance of the city.

We loved it! Place de la Bourse is a stunning 18th century square in Bordeaux with elegant façades, the Fountain of the Three Graces, and its famous Water Mirror. A true UNESCO gem.

We combined a trip to Bordeaux with this so ended here at the beginning of the evening (at 18:00). We parked not at the formal entrance, but a bit down the road where we had to walk between the bushes and made a steep climb onto the dune. Challenging! But the view is amazing and coming there in the evening gives very nice pictures with the sunset (and it's not so crowded). We swam for a short while and went back before it got dark. The way down is much faster ;-)

Great views of the surrounding countryside. Be ready for a good climb if you want to reach the top though as there are plenty of steps to navigate, make sure you have some comfy footwear. The parking is €7, but that also covers the cost of the visit for as long as you want, so it was very good value for money. The parking areas are also very shaded so your car won’t be an oven when you return from your travels. It was busy when we visited, but as the fine is so large it didn’t feel overcrowded.

We passed by on our route to Bilbao - what a stop, what an impressive piece of landscape. Well organized with a beautiful wooden tourist „village“!!

If in area this is a must see! This is one long 2km dune along the coast. It seems so out of place. The view from the top of the dune overlooking the bay is stunning. There is one set of stairs to assist with your climb.

As a catholic, I’m writing this review with great pleasure and joy. It was my first time in Lourdes and I felt so special and blessed. Please note there’s a candlelight procession happening at 9pm at night every day from April to October. Also there are several mass services in different churches in the premises. You can buy bottles from near by shops and fill holy water. There’s staff that help you with information and guiding you through. Have a pleasant pilgrimage Our Lady of Lourdes, Pray for us

Visiting here for the first time was truly breathtaking. The sanctuary is grand, magnificent, and more beautiful than any place I have ever seen. If you visit, you will feel the same wonder and excitement that I felt.

Lovely day taking in the beauty of Lourdes and it's surroundings. Very quiet on a Monday as most places were shut, but we did manage to find one place selling gorgeous crepes.

Beautiful grounds. Inspiring architecture. It's like a religious Disneyland. Healing waters. Round the clock rosary. 25000 seat basilica.

It is good to visit in early November, when it is much less visitors. I stayed for 6 days and having a serene time and a profound spiritual experience.

I loved the size of the beach. Despite the crowds, it never felt overcrowded. If you enjoy proper swimming, you can swim long distances across the width of the beach. There are also several good restaurants within walking distance. Plus, there’s convenient access to public restrooms. I would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful beach. Mostly always well kept. Even if you don't like sand is very nice to stroll along just about any time of day.

Fantastic city beach with safe swimming water. There is an arched promenade allowing for shade if needed with young children.

One cannot come to San. Sebastian and not come to the beach. For goodness sake, this is the paradise part of SS. Full of people but ALWAYS enough space for everyone. Amazing and a must come for the sunshine!

Very beautiful in picture beach in the centre of Saint Sebastian. I really love my visit to the spot. Lots of people enjoying the weather and the scenic view. Around the beach area, there is plenty to see, including tourist attractions and spots to enjoy refreshments and food.

As far as I can tell it is no less than the most beautiful city beach or bay in Europe. Of course you have to be lucky with the weather, as on hot days it feels like the whole city is digging through the sand. The huge dimensions only become clear on a walk or a drive up one of the two hills (Monte Igueldo or Urgull). It is a little unusual that there is so little catering right on the promenade.

Highlight of our cruise to Spain and Portugal was a visit to the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao. The structure is iconic in itself, made of titanium sheets laid over a free-form pattern. The inner structure is just as amazing in design. Housed within, are notable creations of contemporary art. The large oil painting in black, with a small corner left natural, the work of Robert Motherwell. The labyrinth of huge steel sheets, coiled, eager to welcome curious visitors. I came away wondering, ‘what is art?’ Be sure to enlarge the paper cut-out collage. There are some worthy quotations to remember. A very reasonable 9 euros entrance fee. Great gift shop for a memento. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful.

Absolutely loved the Guggenheim Bilbao! The architecture alone is breathtaking — you could spend an hour just walking around the building and taking in the curves, reflections, and the river views. Inside, the exhibitions are beautifully curated, modern, bold, and inspiring. Every room feels like a new experience; the whole visit felt smooth and welcoming. A must-see in Bilbao — worth every minute!

Iconic showcase of art in a spectacular building. For someone who is not a big fan of art museums, I found this place very interesting and amusing. Every single room had a unique feature and I didn’t get bored even after spending 1.5hrs in here. A must-see in Bilbao! You can buy ticket online. I got there with 10 groups waiting in front of me to buy tickets so I just quickly bought it online and skipped the long queue. Only takes 2-3 mins max

We visited Friday, September 5, 2025. The building is beautiful. Unique and bold. Really stands out. We spent about 90 minutes here on a Friday afternoon. Well worth it if you are in the area. I loved the large exhibits.

It’s world-famous for a reason! I am in no way well-versed in art but I really enjoyed all 3 floors of the museum. I appreciated the variety of media, artists, eras, and kind of art featured here. I think what made it more fun was how interactive some of them are, and some exhibitions were also larger than life. It featured both big and rising, international and local names in the industry which was a great way to highlight other people in the industry. I appreciated how organized the museum was as well. There was a Yayoi Kusama exhibition, which would normally take forever to see but they planned it very well. It was a really quick few seconds to see it but this made the line go faster and didn’t hold up anyone who wanted to see it. The featured artist at that time was also very talented and fun to see! Lots of interactive and dynamic art featured that changed the experience for the viewer every room we visited. We also didn’t buy tickets ahead and I really thought we missed our chance, but the museum allotted tickets for walk-in visitors. The line went so fast as well which we appreciated a lot. So it was a very pleasant experience!!

The exterior of the museum is phenomenal, truly worth seeing with your own eyes. However, the exhibitions are a hit or miss. Perhaps I had unreasonably high expectations, which ultimately led to my disappointment. I have visited contemporary art museums with better exhibitions in the past, that's all I'm saying!!! The entrance fee is not expensive in all means. 6 euros with a student ID. I stayed here for a bit more than one hour.

The Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao is an architectural and cultural masterpiece that offers an immersive experience in contemporary art, both for its iconic structure and for the works on display. The Guggenheim in Bilbao, designed by Frank Gehry, is considered one of the most revolutionary architectural works of the 20th century. Its titanium, glass and limestone structure, with curved and fluid shapes, almost looks like an urban sculpture. Visiting the museum is already an artistic experience in itself, even before entering. Inside, the museum houses a vast collection of modern and contemporary art, with works by artists such as Richard Serra, Anselm Kiefer, Cy Twombly, Mark Rothko, Louise Bourgeois and Yves Klein. Among the most famous installations is The Matter of Time by Serra, an immersive path through gigantic steel spirals B. Outside, two works have become symbols of the museum: • Puppy by Jeff Koons: a giant dog covered with fresh flowers. • Maman by Louise Bourgeois: a huge spider-shaped sculpture, powerful and disturbing. Fantastic experience for children We went with our toddler and he absolutely loved riding in the cable cars and spotting animals. You can then drive around to different enclosures for a closer look. Facilities were great - toilets and refreshment stands throughout the park and very well run. I would suggest you leave enough time to fully explore the park. We had 2 and a half hours and it was only enough to do the cable car route, see the reptile house, rhinos and tigers even without stopping for lunch. Highly recommend.

Overall, we were a bit disappointed. Value wise - at 140 Euros for a family it felt overpriced. No suggested routes, old signage/ information about the animals as well as chaotic and crowded roads around the park. We did not see many staff around the park, and it felt a bit unloved. Animals were great, especially the cable car over the elephant enclosure.

I was worried that without car we will suffer but actually it is quite easy, we took a zoo bus and a cable car, and we walked. So I must say that even without car the visit to this parque is a great idea! We even took a public bus to Santander and it was a cheap and pleasant trip. The parque itself is much better than any regular zoo! Definitely worth visiting

Beautiful landscape formed by a former open mine, now all holes have become enclosures for animals. This means every animal has at least a football field worth of space. You would expect that it would be more difficult that way to see the animals but that is not the case. The place is huge so you get around by car with a small parking lot at every enclosure, there’s also a cable car that takes you over most enclosures with a unique view of the animals, it feels a bit like a safari. Entrance is a bit steep, but worth it. Prices of drinks and food inside are fair for a park like this. Because the place is so big, it never feels busy except at the entrance to the cable cars there’s a small line.

Very nice animal reserve. The animals have a lot of room to roam and appear to be well taken care of. There are two cable car routes above the enclosures that give great views included in the ticket price.

The Burgos Cathedral is located in the historical centre of the Spanish city of the same name. Construction on the Cathedral began in 1221 and was completed in 1567. It is a comprehensive example of the evolution of Gothic style, with the entire history of Gothic art exhibited in its superb architecture and unique collection of art, including paintings, choir stalls, reredos, tombs, and stained-glass windows. One of the richest cathedrals I’ve ever seen! The intricate art and sculptures inside are simply amazing. There is a free audio guide that you can access via your phone. It is hard to listen though while also taking in the beauty of each chapel and artwork at the same time. 😅 This is a must-visit in Burgos!

Espectacular cathedral with a fast and efficient check out service tickets. No matter your believes it’s a must visit. The details of all of the walls and structure is impressive. You would like to spend like at least an hour and a half to enjoy all the places inside.

This may be one of the most beautiful churches I have visited. St Peters in Rome may be grander but the Burgos Cathedral has so many beautiful chapels inside it, each distinct. Some of the chapels are humongous, bigger than small churches. Burgos Cathedral is awesome, a must see!

Huge building. We were to late to visit,as we arrived only in the evening. Impressive building and probably worth to visit also inside. Tickets can be purchased during the day at the entrance. The large squares around the Cathedral are pleasant for a drink or to stroll around with an ice cream.

The Leon Cathedral is a tremendous landmark that helps take Camino de Santiago pilgrims back in time to imagine what the area would have been like 800 years ago when this cathedral was built. The area around the cathedral is spacious and offers a sense of relaxation while having coffee or a meal .

Fabulous church inside and out. Stained glass windows and vaulted ceilings are amazing. Tickets are not cheap but do not mind paying as it goes to the upkeep of this amazing cathedral. Loved that we take photos of the inside to keep our memories fresh of the glorious interior. No restrooms available.

Wow, wow, wow. The stained glass and scale is striking. I'm not sure we could build this now. There is no reduced entrance for pilgrims, which is unusual, but the visit worth the €7. The audio-tour was cool as well. Just the right amount of detail and explanation of points of interest for my sore feet.

Breathtakingly beautiful! Around £5 to get in, which I think is a steal!!! There is a little cafe on the corner to the right which has the loveliest staff! Go there…. Not the ones opposite the church itself!

Its just Wow! When you are inside that building and you see those stained glass windows… your jaw will drop to the ground!

The old city of Segovia was settled by the Romans 2000 years ago. Their major contribution which still exists in its original form is the aqueduct. This is the most amazing piece of engineering and enabled the expansion of the city providing it with fresh water from the mountains. It extends for 17 kilometers and much of it is underground. There is a staircase you can climb to be at the top and it is truly spectacular. The city itself is charming.

Seeing the Aqueduct of Segovia in person is just amazing. Honestly, pictures don't do it justice at all. When you stand there and see the scale of it, and think about how old it is and that it's still standing, it's just incredible. It's so well preserved and right in the middle of everything. We spent ages just walking around it and admiring the construction. It's a true masterpiece of Roman engineering and an absolute must-see. We were completely blown away. 5 stars, easily.

The Aqueduct of Segovia is one of the most impressive ancient structures I have ever seen. Built by the Romans around the first century AD, it stands as a masterpiece of engineering and endurance. The fact that it was constructed without any mortar, using only perfectly cut granite blocks, makes it even more incredible. Standing beneath the aqueduct, you can truly appreciate its scale and precision. It stretches across the city with more than 160 arches and reaches almost 30 meters high at its tallest point. It once carried water from the mountains over 15 kilometers away to supply Segovia, and parts of it continued to function for centuries. It is remarkable how well preserved it remains today, blending seamlessly with the modern city around it. The surrounding plaza is lively, filled with cafes and shops, and offers perfect views for photos both day and night.

UNBELIEVABLE!...This place is absolutely great. I am from New York and I did not even know about thia place, but if you are a fan of history, this place is perfect. To think, this place was build in 1 A.D. and you see the scope of the size, and the sheer size of it is overwhelming and it is still standing today. Absolutely spectacular must-see Roman aqueduct. Photos cannot do it justice. Reasonably easy to get to. There is a high speed Renfe train station a few miles out of town and a regular bus service that runs directly to the aqueduct from the station. Segovia itself has plenty of other sites to visit and I spent all day here.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 “Santiago Bernabéu – the temple where dreams come true… and the hopes of visiting teams quietly die.” Great stadium: huge, modern, shines like a spaceship. The atmosphere is loud enough to crush the self-esteem of any away team within ten minutes. Security is friendly but has the look of people who’ve seen everything – including fans who mentally switched to airplane mode after the third goal. Food? Typical stadium stuff: expensive, but at least the beer tastes like hope. Seats? Usually great – unless you get the guy who celebrates every goal like he just won the lottery. Conclusion: A beautiful stadium. Perfect if you love Real… or bring a touch of masochism as an away fan.

One of the best stadiums in the world! The tour was incredibly detailed and well-organized. it took around 2–3 hours to complete, and every minute was worth it. Truly one of the best experiences I hav ever had!

I was here for the NFL game better the Washington Commanders and the Miami Dolphins and i have to say the stadium is amazing...its clean, easy to get around, chairs are a bit smaller than I am used to in America but other than that its aces. The lightning, the scoreboard and details throughout the stadium is amazing...best of all the food prices are soooo cheap compared to America...at least 50% cheaper, and the food was great.

Took the bernabue tour which cost 35 euros per person and felt like it could’ve been cheaper. The stadium was having an event so they didn’t let us stay inside past 10 minutes or so. The whole tour is an immersive experience, the history is well elaborated so even someone who isn’t a fan can connect and appreciate the journey that the team has had. The architecture is appreciative. An entire section is also dedicated to real madrid city.

As a American coming here, it was truly a great experience! The Spain crowd was curious and interested. The Stadium really gave off that “big” feeling being that there were so many seats taken. For a NFL international game I feel like it could’ve been more functional getting in and out of the game, transportation, etc. but I guess there isn’t much you can do when you have 80,000 trying to cram in the small metro. Experience was great would highly recommend!

Traveled to Madrid for as my favorite football team were playing the Dolphins on my birthday. We lost, unfortunately. However, the stadium was beautiful and packed. Everyone were so nice. Not sure when I would be able to get back, but I enjoyed my time there.

Amazing stadium design let down by the organisation. Visited for the NFL game and there was no organisation or direction for fans arriving. Police moving through on horseback using aggression to form queues. The food and drink we got was reasonably priced for a stadium but they had either sold out or not stocked any hot food before kick off. Ended up we only got crisps that cost €5

Great place to visit, there are free entry during last two work hours, but the lines then after crazy long. One of the most impressive palaces I ever visited. Was also lucky to visit the palace at the day off solemn guard change, that mostly happens on the first Wednesday off the month, but this time it was the second (can be moved because of weather or other stuff) and had a great view from the palace square, seeing all the guards and horses, that lasted for an hour.

The Royal Palace of Madrid is absolutely stunning and one of the most memorable places I visited. The interior is magnificent—each room feels like stepping back in time, filled with beautiful details and history. Photos are allowed, which makes the visit even more enjoyable since you can capture the incredible architecture and decor. The staff were polite and helpful, and I appreciated that service dogs are allowed inside with proper documentation. I would recommend booking a tour and skipping the line—it saves time and makes the experience much smoother. The surrounding gardens are also lovely for a quiet walk after the visit. Truly an unforgettable experience in Madrid!

Honestly, I'd say the palace is slightly above average. History enthusiasts will likely be disappointed . It's a nice place to spend the day with kids and family, and it's particularly great for school kids to learn about history in a hands-on way.

Royal Place is beautiful and offers a great learning experience, but it can be very crowded, so moving through is slow. The visit itself is fairly quick, but the stunning architecture and interesting exhibits make it worthwhile.

An absolute go-to in Ávila! You can't go to Ávila and not visit the Muralla! The walls are in an excellent state, providing incredible views of the outside of the city, but also giving great insights of the main buildings of inside the fortress. It's a pity we can go all around the fortress in one go, and have to go down and up on different points instead. It would be worth revisiting once the renovations are done to see how much we can see in one go. The tickets cost €8 per person, definitely worth every penny!

Very well kept. Nice to walk, hilly but good. Good food outside of the walls, inside a little touristy trap but great shopping. Prices are definitely higher than a couple yrs ago and the Euro to dollars gets you.

Beautiful place, worth going to see . We went early before the crowds and found car parking close by. You receive an audio guide full of information. Also we went late October the weather was 55 degrees.

Avila is a beautiful and looks like any other medieval city in Spain. The wall is nice. Worth the trip. Comparable to Segovia and Toledo.

This a well preserved historic theatre built by Ancient Rome. During the 1st century AD, the current stage front was erected. The theatre was abandoned in the 4th century AD after the official adoption of Christianity, which considered theatrical performances immoral. Site archaeological excavations started in 1910 onwards. Interesting place to visit. Entry fees charged, long queues, book ahead. Uneven terrain, lots of walking, climbing crude stairs. Popular place, lots of tourists and locals. Toilets nearby. Great place for photography.

Very recommended. It was built 16-15 year b.C by consul Marco Agripa. It was to around 6000 people. It’s like Roma in small scale but better because it is in a very good state. There is a ticket without guide to visit the full monumental complex: Roman Theatre, Circus, Moreria Arqueological Area, Mithraeum House, Columbarium, Alcazaba, Anfiteatre and House, Diana Temple. All of this for only 17€ per person (normal fee).

Why go to Rome! We purchased our €17 day pass, giving you entry into all of the sites, which is great value. You are given a map detailing the locations of the other sites. Here, you will be transported back, walking through the amphitheatres and tunnels. We are here in the non peak period, and it's fabulous! It's hot, though, so make sure you have a hat and water. You will need it. Put this site on your list of things to do.

If you passed the first beautiful amfitheater you wil see the other one which is more beautiful with incredibly high pillars and colums. You will be blown away what you see. The long walk is all worth it, also if you are not very capable to walk. Advice: combination ticket for 17 euro.

Excellent archaeological site, very informative with boards in Spanish and English. They need to provide more water stations and shaded areas around the site as the heat is so intense, also rubbish bins.

A fascinating and eerie place in the heart of Évora! The Chapel of Bones is covered with thousands of real human bones and skulls — built by monks in the 16th century to remind people that life is short. It’s both spooky and beautiful at the same time. Definitely a must-see when visiting

The chapel lined with bones is a truly unique experience that makes you reflect on the transience of everything. So many lives lived, so many stories that will never be told... The nativity museum is really interesting too, especially seeing how it was interpreted by different cultures. Would definitely recommend a visit!

Three stars is mainly due to the comparison with another bone chapel in Czech Republic! Sedlec Ossuary Kostnice Sedlec in Kutná Hora is way more unique, and much more interesting! So it’s a bit disappointed for me. Travel 2hrs from Lisbon to here just to see this places that I’ve always wanted to visited. The main church is amazing as other churches. The bone chapel sure has LOTS of bones, but it was simply piled on top of others. I was fortunate to visit Sedlec Ossuary Kostnice Sedlec and the bone chapel was way more beautiful decorated even though it was a much smaller church. This chapel is definitely not worth the trip if you had been to Sedlec Ossuary Kostnice Sedlec!

I think it's a bit expensive for what it is. It's small, but really a unique chapel. The chapel is super crowded. Wasn't really interested in the Nativity Scene museum; the Chapel is what's up. I had Black Sabbath playing in my ear buds which was perfect so if you're a fan of metal or goth, this is for you.

Very interesting ossuary. I paid in cash based on what is in other reviews to avoid frustration. 6 euro entry seemed a little much considering how small it is, but it's a tourist attraction so. The use of the bones is very interesting and used in nice patterns.

Spooky? It’s a place to visit, if you’re in town. The history behind and its fast visit not boring, and you can see also Nativity scenes from all around the world showcasing different art styles which were lovely to see.

This is a great place to see. It's not very big. Maybe take a few minutes there but you can stay as long as you want. Along with visiting the chapel, there is also 2 floor level to visit including a balcony that you can look out on the small square center. If you park in the square, parking fee is required with a max of 4 hrs. If you park outside the square, no fee for parking. After visiting the chapel, the church is connected right beside it. You can visit, no cost. Not much in Evora to do, however you can make it a day trip just by walking around and exploring. Lots of unique streets to explore. Restaurants are great and lots of places to buy souvenirs
