Písek Stone Bridge

Bridge
Sights & Landmarks
Early-Gothic bridge with stone archways & rows of 18th-century Baroque statues, plus castle views.
An impeccably preserved monument, eloquent of medieval Czechia. The view is magnificent, with lovely houses, cafes and restaurants dotted along the banks of the river Otava. During favourable weather conditions, kayaking is a beloved sport. A must-see for people frequenting Písek!
Robert C — Google review
A very historic bridge, even older than the Charles Bridge in Prague. The area is beautiful, clean, well-organized, and calm — a truly lovely place to visit
William G — Google review
Beautifully preserved early Gothic (13th century) bridge. We enjoyed the history, and seeing the extra (wider) arch added in 1768 for raft passage. The kids loved the sand sculptures next to the bridge.
Amy B — Google review
Pisek bridge is even older than the Charles bridge in Prague with a great advantage of lacking swarms of tourists. The town is nice too
Anna A — Google review
It is an old Gothic bridge that, for good reason, has been given the status of a national cultural monument. It is definitely worth a visit. The bridge holds historical significance and adds to the charm of the town of Písek. Located in a lovely setting, the bridge offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape and the river. As you stroll through the old town of Písek, you’ll be captivated by its quaint streets, rich history, and architectural wonders. It’s a delightful experience to immerse yourself in the town’s atmosphere and explore its cultural heritage.
Martin T — Google review
Nice view on the river and the sand sculptures.

One of my favorite things to do in my free time is to visit old towns and villages in the Czech Republic and imagine what life was like for the people living there in the middle ages. This bridge really stirred my imagination. Charles IV once crossed this bridge and stayed in the castle. It is the oldest bridge in the Czech Republic and it does not disappoint.

Aristocratic 16th-century residence, with guided tours, landscaped gardens & a restaurant terrace.
Beautiful chateu with fully equipped interiors (not possible to take any pictures inside). The place looks and feels like the owners left just minutes ago. You'll see servant rooms, bedrooms of the noble owners, kitchen, rooms with gold plated walls, hand made floor tiles etc. It's absolutely gorgeous and recommended to visit.

A beautiful castle off the beaten tracks is even more charming during the colourful autumn days. This time only aerial, as we arrived later than required and the gates got closed.

Treetop Trail Lipno

Mentioned on
3 lists
Scenic spot
Sights & Landmarks
Treetop Trail Lipno offers a captivating experience with its scenic observation tower, treetop walking platform, and entertainment options like concerts and light shows. The expansive playground features 7 routes and 7 platforms of varying difficulty levels, winding through a picturesque forest with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and forests. Visitors can enjoy panoramic vistas of the lake from above, although it's advisable to be prepared for strong winds and cooler temperatures.
In my opinion, it is good that such places exist because it is difficult sometimes to plan activities for the family that are engaging enough for the small ones. It is amazing that it was open on a Saturday, despite it being a holiday. There could be more parking available on the location. It can be reached by car or by cable 🚡. There is food available at the location. There is a cool playground in front of the entrance, entry free. Not all personal speaks foreign languages. All in all, I recommend it. I like it and I think there are not that many things to complain about.
Karina A — Google review
A nice experience , beautiful view , although a bit bexpensive to go up. You are not allowed to take pets up, but there are kennels for dogs at the bottom where you can leave them safely.
Alina T — Google review
Well, the slide was closed. It was very disappointing as we arrived with our kid, and it was supposed to be the high point of this stop. The entrance fee was really high IMO given no slide. The views from the top were gorgeous but still paying for the parking, then walking for 30 minutes, paying for the entrance, and no slide in the end made it a bit sour. Almost all the info is in Czech or German. I understand why it's like that, but adding English wouldn't have hurt and would have made it easier for us.
Serge L — Google review
A nice and special experience, but definitely not cheap. If you also take into account the cost of a cable car or bus to get to the site, then even an expensive experience, but definitely worth it. Amazing views of Lake Lipno open up to the eye, simply breathtaking how beautiful it is. There are several cafes nearby.
Eddy T — Google review
A great place to watch the lake and it's surrounded from above. There may be strong winds and a bit of cold, so be prepared. Tickets are bought in the Cash Desk or in the web. If you register for lipno card, you just need to enter your email in the tickets machine to get a discount. No need for the ticket itself. We took the cable car and all together it was expensive for a family. You may park at almost the top in a public place for free and take a walk through the wood and buy tickets in place. The cable car takes about 20 minutes. The whole trip is fun and enjoyable.
Idan V — Google review
Amazing view, easy climb, including for young children with a few fun stops kn the way. The slide down option, 3 eu pp was nice! Make sure to purchase ticketss ahead via lipno.info. You can take the cable car lift to get to the entrance and then walk down (~30 minutes easy walk) or take the cable car lift again.
Igal P — Google review
A tip from me to you: For anyone who also thinks €19 per person is ridiculous🤣, check out the Dobra Voda observation tower in Horni Plana (two villages away) – it’s FREE. Combine it with the FREE deer park just a 1-minute walk away. And enjoy a beautiful walk along the Olsina educational trail. Oh, and here parking is free too!
Eline B — Google review
Beautiful Nature. The employee who are working in slide doesn't work until 5pm. They close slide at 16:27 without giving any notice to people who is still there. Other wise places is beautiful fantastic worth visit just be carefully about time and ask them in advance.

Lipno

Recreation center
Outdoor Activities
Lipno, located in South Bohemia, is a picturesque area offering a range of activities for visitors. In addition to being a popular ski resort with chairlifts and a bobsleigh run, it also boasts lakeside resort hotels. The region is known for its scenic beauty and offers opportunities for cycling and inline skating. Visitors can also enjoy the local marina and unwind while taking in the romantic sunset.
Spectacular chairlift, a very good family program even outside the ski season.
Sandor V — Google review
Good ski resort for beginners and intermediate skiers. Free car park.Rent shop, supermarket and restaurant. All reasonably priced. The only problem, they had issues with the ski lift on the day and no one was able to tell us when they going to fix the lift. Luck of communication.
Igor R — Google review
Attention! The bike park is dangerous for you! Very disappointing experience at the bike park! The blue trail is definitely not suitable for beginners, even though this is what is communicated on the website. There are difficult technical elements, such as jumps, and at some places there is no easy alternative. The difficulty level doesn't correspond to what is communicated and also what is traditionally labeled as blue. The staff is either incompetent or quite unfriendly. After having a bike accident, we wanted to get down with the lift but the unfriendly guy at the lift just said No and yelled at me that my bike is not broken. Apparently the main lift can be used to transport bikes only up, not down, which is not written down anywhere. The place is designed to bleed you dry while not offering a good experience in return. Value for money is just low. The bike trails are very short and at least a few levels more difficult than communicated. And the fact that I fell and injured myself and they still refused to help me is simply unacceptable. I will never come back there again. Bike park Klínovec is 100 times better.
Kristina T — Google review
Nice size clean family appartment, well equipped. Good location, not so far from lake but VERY noisy at night. It is 12am and I cant sleep because of many loud guests in this resort. Acustic insolation between the appartments is very bad. We have 2 kinds of mattresses - one soft and one very hard. There is no gym, no inside pool and no in resort restaurant. Not much to do here when you get rainy days.
Pavel O — Google review
had i nice experience with cable car and it is really worth of money .
Raminda L — Google review
The pool is good and warm, and the lake is quite cold. The apartment is great and very neat. Loved it!

If I could stay here forever, I would. This place had everything we needed. perfect location close to the water and all the restaurants. the front desk was super friendly and spoke enough English for us to manage to find our rooms. The sauna and fireplace in our rooms were a nice touch. Will be back for sure.

Castle Kašperk

Castle
Sights & Landmarks
At an elevation of 2,907 ft., this castle founded in 1356 offers guided tours & sweeping views.
Great building and fantastic view. Accessible via road for baby stroller or wheelchair
Yacouba C — Google review
Awesome guided tour. I think the castle is well looked after. The castellan is apparently doing a good job.
Petr K — Google review
medieval castle founded by Charles IVth, interesting 1h guided tour, small outdoor bufet (tasty grilled camambert), marvellous views
Ari F — Google review
Not worth the hike up after 6 pm, gate closed & the view on the castle is pretty disappointing especially after 1.5 km walk through pretty sad half felled forest. There are much better places & views around that part of Czech rep, certainly for an evening walk :)
Lenka K — Google review
It billed as the highest altitude castle in Bohemia. I just walked around the front part of the grounds for free. Tours cost about 200 krona. You can park pretty close to the ticket counter but I noticed many people walked about 1-2 kilometres to get here. Seems unnecessary. It’s popular with families. There are food spaces and archery
Jeremy K — Google review
I visited Kašperk Castle in Aug 2023, and it was truly a remarkable experience. Located amidst the stunning landscapes of southwestern Bohemia, this medieval castle stands proudly at an impressive elevation of 886 meters above sea level, making it the most highly located royal castle in Bohemia. What struck me most about Kašperk Castle is the evident care and dedication put into its preservation and restoration. However, what made my visit truly exceptional was the guided tour led by Zdenek. Without a doubt, Zdenek is the best castle guide I have ever encountered. His knowledge of the castle's history is impressive, Zdenek didn't just recite facts; he shared intriguing historical anecdotes that brought the castle to life. I can't praise Zdenek enough for his outstanding tour, and I believe he is an invaluable asset to Kašperk Castle. His dedication to ensuring visitors have an unforgettable experience sets this castle apart. If you're in the area and have the opportunity to visit Kašperk Castle, don't miss it. Thank you, Kašperk Castle, and especially Zdenek, for a memorable visit.
Petra N — Google review
Very nice castle and specially the surroundings. Some shows are going around but at specific hours. Worth the visit even if in the middle of nowhere. Parking is not cheap and far from the castle, so count with 20 or 30 min walking specially if you have kids.

Visitors can stroll through the forest canopy on wooden walkways elevated 15 meters above the ground, offering a unique perspective of the ecosystem with 30 adventure stations and interactive exhibits. Perfect place for family holiday. Beautiful and and mesmerizing wood bridge connects trees to the other trees. From the top of the tower in side the park we could see from above around the area. Near by the restaurant in the park, there is huge playground, huge slide for all above 6 y.o. Really recommended for the whole family. Nice ✅

A beautiful and peaceful environment for a walk with a stop for something good to eat. For children, it is a perfect environment on the edge. Box office open until 5 p.m. But you can stay much longer inside the park and restaurant. Parking is free.

Veste Oberhaus

Mentioned on
+33 other lists
Fortress
Sights & Landmarks
Veste Oberhaus is a historic hilltop fortress in Passau, Germany, dating back to 1219. It overlooks the town and the confluence of the Danube, Inn, and Ilz rivers. The fortress has never been conquered and was once the residence of the Bishop of Passau. Today, it houses a history museum, a youth hostel, a restaurant, and an open-air theatre.
We crossed the bridge, walked up and took the 5 euro bus down. The walk was pleasant under the cover of trees. When the option comes to turn left or right - choose right because it's shorter. The other takes you to a youth camp and you have to walk down. The Museum is a MUST! The best Burg museum that we've visited in years. Seniors 5 Euros and 1 Euro deposit for a locker which is returned and free toilets. The collection is extensive and well curated.
Evi K — Google review
This was an excellent museum. I was there 3 hours and didn't see everything. The room information was in English but individual items in the rooms were not. The museum covers several topics; bishops, the castle, the town, porcelain, people who lived in the Bohemian forest and more. Great views down to the old town and the 3 rivers.
K W — Google review
Veste Oberhaus is one of my favorite stops in Bavaria. The castle complex has so much to offer. There is plenty to see if you do not pay for the admission. There is also so much more to see if you do pay admission. The admission price is nominal and definitely worth it. There is a restaurant called Das Oberhaus that is super. Also, you are permitted to take photos inside of the castle, and this is not permitted at every castle in Bavaria.
David E — Google review
Passau was a stop on our river cruise. The cruise line didn't over an excursion to Veste Oberhaus but it is definitely worth visiting. There are two options to get up the hill. One is to pay for a shuttle at $5 Euros each way. The second option is to walk up the medieval stairs to the top. Takes about 15 to 30 minutes depending on your physical ability. We saw many seniors walking up and down. The tower is a must see attraction because it offers a 360 degree observation deck that allows you to take amazing panoramic photos. The museum has many artifacts and is extensive.
Michael B — Google review
Great Museum and castle, wish we had more time to explore. Otherwise great for kids under 12 they lose interest 30min inside. But I could spend all day. Really night walk if your saying in town.
David H — Google review
I recently visited the impressive Veste Oberhaus in Passau. Perched high above the confluence of the rivers, the views of the city were outstanding. I found the fortress itself to be an incredible historical structure, dating back to 1219, which now houses a captivating museum. The grounds are well-maintained and offer a fascinating glimpse into the past.
Adrian M — Google review
This is a great place to get a bird's eye view over the city. The bus is €10 for a return trip and runs half hourly. There is also a nice restaurant with panoramic views. There are options to pay to visit the museum and/or an observation tower, but you can get good views from the terrace without paying. Well worth a visit.
Carole A — Google review
This is the main attraction in Passau. There is a shuttle bus to and from Romerplatz for 5£. (Well worth the time and effort to get here.) Passau is lovely, but there isn't a lot to do in the town. There is a castle museum with portraits, church-y items, and castle doo-dads. Unfortunately, the castle areas themselves are not open. I was expecting to see the museum, then tour the castle, but that's not the case. I guess it depends on your expectations, but we didn't find the museum to be expansive. There was a few chests, armor, weapons, Bibles, portraits, maps, etc. but not a lot of any one thing. Maybe not being able to enter the castle dampened our enthusiasm. We spent about 45 minutes in the museum, and another 45 minutes wandering outside. There is a restaurant with a great view. Unfortunately, it stays packed, and suffers from oktoberfest syndrome. I've found most Germans to be rather dismissive of the idea of sharing a table. After trying about 20 tables and being told no, we just left. Theoretically you can walk up to the castle, but unless you are an Olympic race walker, I wouldn't advise it. Gorgeous views of the 3 rivers, although one river is pretty dinky. Set aside several hours; more if you want to go slowly through the museum.

My husband and I cycled from Passau to Vienna. The bikes were brilliant and well set up. Prompt and easy to commute with, Cristian has everything ready to go at 9a.m. Prices are very competitive, and I would highly recommend this rental company.
Eithne M — Google review
We had a good experience renting from this fantastic bike hire shop. From start to finish, everything was smooth, professional, and geared toward making our rides from Passau as enjoyable as possible. The bikes themselves were good quality and well serviced — fitted with puncture-resistant tyres that gave us peace of mind, and equipped with Ortlieb panniers - the best panniers imho. Christian, was helpful, flexible and welcoming. He took the time to make sure the bikes were adjusted perfectly and shared some brilliant local cycling routes. His passion for cycling and genuine care for customers shines through, and it made the whole experience feel personal and memorable. If you’re looking for reliable, well-equipped bikes and a friendly guy who goes above and beyond to ensure you have a great holiday, this is the place to go.

This past week we rented bicycles from Fahrrad-Klinik Passau for a day. We booked this about 6 months ago. The service that we received was excellent, and the tourism information that was given to us was very useful. Christian speaks both, German and English. He was a delight to deal with, and very courteous and helpful. Fahrrad-Klinik Passau is highly recommended. Thank you so much!!

Absolutely great! Quick response to reservation inquiry, fast & easy pick up and drop off. Very good bikes and accessories. Cristian, the owner, was helpful and pleasant. We would definitely book with Fahrrad-Klinik again.

My two buddies and I rented bikes from Fahrrad-Klinik September 2021 and was very happy we did. I'm not a easy guy to please and the people here were very professional and friendly. The bikes were in near new shape and good quality! We used the bikes for 6 days and dropped them off in Vienna. We had zero problems with the bikes and would rent from them again.

Probably the best cycle place I have ever used anywhere in the world! Great bikes and very generous prices and return policy.

We traveled on Donauradweg from Passau to Klosterneuburg on e-bikes rented from Fahrrad-Klinik. The rental service - excellent, Cristian - very kind, very good bikes. And the route, of course, wonderful. Very easy to reach Vienna in minutes from the end - point in Klosterneuburg where we gave back the bikes. I highly recommend it!

So beautiful. We attended a Christmas concert here and candidly there's nothing that has or will top this experience. It was wonderful. Cathedral is historic and humbling to think how many people have worshipped here through the centuries. We all loved it.

The cathedral was under construction the time we were there, according to our guide St. Stephan is always under construction, it’s all depends if they have the funds or not. Even with a big crane inside you can tell the artwork on the ceiling is very impressive.

It is a huge cathedral with some of the highest ceilings i have seen in Europe. Seems this place was not destroyed by WW2, thankfully. It is a magnificent structure at the highest point of Passau.

They advertise the midday concert as the unique experience of listening to the biggest pipe organs in the world. We bought tickets for 6 euro each and then at the concert it turned out that the organs have been removed from the church for renovation (and will be away for 2 years!) so all we had was a concert of small mobile organs which was definitely not enough for a big church like this one. The concert was disappointing and it was not fair that they didn’t tell us (and other 300 people) honestly in advance. After the concert the ticket booth was already closed so there was no one to talk to. Good business concept for the church, disappointment for visiting people.

Großer Arber

Mountain peak
Outdoor Activities
Mountain offering picturesque views, a forest park, hiking trails & winding roads for motorbiking.
Great hiking destination. Plenty rock formations offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains in all directions or the lakes below.
Socalledracing — Google review
I came here in the middle of March, the mountain was still covered in snow and ice, I got to the mountain by bus, it was Saturday, so keep in mind that the last bus back leaves at 2 p.m., I arrived at the mountain at two o'clock))) I walked back on the road for cyclists, 6 km to the city center. There is also an option by bus to the nearest German towns, the bus to them goes more often and leaves until 5 or 6 p.m. . The ascent was complicated by the weather, but it was worth it because it was fantastically beautiful

Relatively easy hike for wandern lovers! From Lake to tip (one way), approximately 1.5 hour hike. Highly suggest if your in the area. The top has multiple viewing points and surprisingly not as many people on the top as we thought there would be. Weekdays are definitely better if your not a fan of crowds. If you are only up for a small walk, around the lake is also quite enjoyable. Stroller friendly. No swimming, but you can rent a row boat in the summer months. Parking only 3 euros.

Nice views from the top. Didn't have time to do the hike around the top, unfortunately.

The Best tourist destination... in the Bayern Forest... lovely place.... in Winter... in Spring.... in Summer... in Autumn... climbing to Großer Arber isn't very tiresome... the look of Bayern Forest from here is very beautiful.... Fresh air is ready to enrich our body and mind....

The best vantage point in the area. The hiking trail is fast, simple, it is possible to take a cable car. Usually quite a lot of people.

Europa Therme Bad Füssing is a spacious wellness center that offers both indoor and outdoor thermal baths, along with sauna and massage services. The facility features various pools including lap pool, large river pool, bubble pool, and massage jets pool catering to different preferences. The environment is peaceful and well-maintained with pools at different temperatures ranging from 27-38°C. It's particularly popular among mature visitors seeking a no-nonsense wellness experience.
I have been there every once in a while for pretty much my entire life and never had a bad experience, staff has always been nice, the prices are reasonable and the place always seemed very clean. I loved it for family trips with up to 6 people when I was younger as well as more recently having been there with my fiancé. With the selection of pools it´s easy for everyone to find something they really like :) Especially the lazy river is always loved! Also bonus points for the super relaxing atmosphere if you´re there when it´s dark outside
Nadine S — Google review
We recently visited the Europa thermal bath complex that left us with mostly positive impressions. Here are some highlights and points to consider: Positives: - The thermal bath complex is quite large. - There are many different pools with temperatures ranging from 18 to 40 degrees Celsius. - It was Sunday and quite crowded, but we were still able to find a spot. - The restaurant was good with relatively tasty food and large portions, though it was not cheap. - The glass walkways between the thermal baths are likely very pleasant in winter, though a bit warm in the summer. Points to Consider: - The indoor thermal baths were stuffy. - Access to the salt room requires an additional 2 euros, which you need to carry with you. - The facility uses an outdated system for managing services. You have to carry heavy keys and money, whereas most modern thermal baths use electronic bracelets for visitors. In these baths, you also need to carry money to buy food, whereas in other places you can pay with a bracelet upon exit. - There are long corridors between changing rooms, and it is often unclear where to go. Overall, the thermal bath complex offers a pleasant experience with some room for improvement in terms of convenience and modernization.

Absolutely brilliant! Very clean, we found loungers on the grass. Take towels. But basically you can take anything you need. The lazy river is fantastic and goes faster on the quarter hour. I saw people paying with cards in the restaurant, but you could bring a picnic. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I’m not sure if it’s officially allowed yet, but wearing footwear directly into the pool is becoming increasingly common here. Normally, people enter the water barefoot, but what I witnessed today was beyond comprehension—five people wearing shoes in one of the smaller pools. When I think about how the toilets sometimes look, I can’t help but wonder if these people even think about hygiene. It doesn’t seem sanitary to me, and perhaps Europa Therme appears to be turning a blind eye to this growing trend. Of course, if it is permitted and correct that such shoes (like neoprene or similar) can be worn in the pools, then I apologize. However, this kind of practice used to be generally prohibited. And to me, it simply doesn’t seem hygienic.

Therme Geinberg

Spa
Spas & Wellness
Thermal baths
Therme Geinberg is a luxurious thermal spa resort offering posh villas, refined rooms, and an expansive retreat with mineral water baths, treatments, and a hammam. The award-winning restaurant Aquarium provides a delightful culinary experience. While some visitors found the therme and sauna overcrowded on weekends, others appreciated the tranquil atmosphere of the oriental spa area. Guests enjoyed various amenities such as breakfast until noon and inclusive access to all areas of the Therme.
Last week of August we have spent here and are absolutely happy. Wonderful place, welcome people and amazing pools. What is the most impressive is the sauna area. So many different rituals and so professional people, who make them. But the best of the best was Daniel. His rituals in sauna were really like a performance. It’s obvious that what he was doing is not just an everyday work, but something where he puts his soul. Thanks to everyone in Geinberg Therme for being so welcoming. We’ll definitely return back again in winter holidays.
Mari M — Google review
The food at the hotel was absolutely fantastic, especially the breakfast buffet. The selection was extensive, and the quality outstanding. The service in the restaurant was fanstastic, and the reception staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself was nice. Unfortunately, we were pretty disappointed with the thermal spa during both arrival and departure. Upon arrival, no loungers („Liegestühle“) were available (not even chairs to put your towel on), which is especially frustrating as a hotel guest at a four-star property where you’d expect a reserved and comfortable lounger. The thermal bath was also very crowded and noisy, and we would have appreciated more quiet spaces (the purpose of such a trip is to relax). The Oriental World area is beautiful, but we couldn’t enjoy it since access is only allowed from 4:00 PM, which coincides with the hotel check-in time. Comparing this to a day visit, it almost seems more worthwhile to skip the overnight stay and simply purchase a day pass („relax tagesurlaub“), as it offers more time in the spa (and a quiet area with designated loungers). Additionally, it doesn‘t seem appropriate that loungers have be reserved in advance as hotel guests, which added to the inconvenience. On departure, we were informed we could use the spa (only!) until 12.00 PM, so we checked out early to maximize our time and also allow for the hotel room to be cleaned sooner. However, a technical issue with the entry chip („Datenträger“) prevented access to the thermal bath area and Oriental World, requiring multiple trips between the spa and hotel reception to try and resolve the problem (which could NOT be resolved). While the staff were very friendly and helpful, explaining the issue repeatedly became tiresome and cost us valuable relaxation time and nerves. It would have been much better if hotel guests were informed upon arrival that additional loungers are available in Oriental World and that these areas could be accessed before 4:00 PM on arrival day. This would have greatly improved our experience. It was also disappointing to find the only available loungers were next to the busy café near the sports pool, while plenty of space remained unused in the much more beautiful and quiet Oriental World. On a positive note, the food truly stood out. Special dietary needs were accommodated perfectly, with a tailored menu prepared in advance based on the additional information typed into the online reservation. The staff were well-informed and attentive, which was excellent. Thank you for this outstanding service in the restaurant (which btw is beautifully furnished!). Also the hotel bar was nice, had a good drinks and an entertaining piano player (live music). To improve the experience, I strongly recommend (automatically!) reserving loungers for hotel guests in quiet areas like Oriental World to ensure a relaxing stay without the need for separate reservations. Also it would be important to offer the option to add not only an entire day pass for the thermal baths on the departure day, but rather hourly booking options, as some guests may have a longer traveling time!
Johanna G — Google review
My fiancée and I recently spent a day at Therme Geinberg – with a day pass, access to the sauna area, and a reserved double lounger in the Silent Zone of the Caribbean World (without the Oriental World). Our experiences were mixed: Positives: The spa offers a large selection of pools, including a sports pool that I enjoyed using. The range of water worlds is generally diverse and invites relaxation. The sauna area is varied, with many different saunas and steam baths. The guided infusions and the salt peeling in the steam sauna were really well done. The overall program and the variety of activities are also worth highlighting. The reserved double lounger in the Silent Zone was comfortable, and the area was generally quiet. Snacks and tea were offered, which made for a pleasant break between sauna sessions. The staff was lovely, very helpful, and friendly. If you had a request, they did their best to accommodate it. Negatives: Unfortunately, cleanliness throughout the spa and sauna area was a major issue for us. The showers were heavily calcified, and we found dirt and splashes in the corners and around the loungers. Looking up from the loungers, the ceiling showed clear signs of dirt as well. The joints in the pools showed some black mold, the grates were rusty, and the edges of the whirlpools appeared neglected and rusty. Overall, it gave the impression that there was a lack of cleaning staff or staff in general. The drinking cups and tea mugs provided in the Silent Zone were dirty on the inside, and the snack tongs looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. This is absolutely unacceptable in a wellness area. Water was dispensed from a small machine – more modern spas offer better solutions for this. The snacks were average, similar to what you find in other spas. The spa area is overall a bit dated, which is apparent from the tiles, joints, and general facilities. Value for Money:
The price for a day ticket with sauna and Silent Zone is generally reasonable, but even at a lower price, cleanliness should not be neglected. Additionally, during the summer months, the Silent Zone almost turns into a second sauna due to the high temperatures. It would be highly beneficial to install some form of cooling or air conditioning in this area to ensure a truly relaxing experience, even on hot days. Note:
Unfortunately, we couldn’t take any photos in the sauna village or spa area, as this is not permitted. Conclusion:
Therme Geinberg scores with a wide range of offerings, a great sauna area, and relaxing retreats. Unfortunately, the experience is currently significantly marred by a lack of cleanliness. Anyone who values hygiene should think carefully before visiting. The potential for a perfect wellness day is definitely there – we hope management will address these issues soon.

I came here a day before my wedding. And since ours was a proper winter wedding, this place did not disappoint. It was very nice and relaxing, and turned into a very cute winter wonderland. The outdoor thermal pools had snow around and the warm salt water was soo nice to swim in. I truly loved it! Would love to head back here this winter and experience it again ♥️

We really used to enjoy going to Therme Geinberg, and had several times. In the past, I would have rated it as 5 stars. Something recently happened to them though, and the once friendly staff turned unfriendly. Maybe the management was overworking them, maybe they were having a bad week. To illustrate just one example of many: On previous visits, we had seen people eating at the buffet in their robes. The literature in the rooms said something like, "have breakfast casually, in your robes." So we thought we would try it. We got to the hostess stand and she looked us up and down in a judgy way. "Robes are NOT allowed in the dining room." It's OK, they change the rules sometimes, but why treat us like vermin that had scurried across the floor? That hostess then refused to serve us even after we had changed and would turn her nose up when she saw us. Interactions with others were similarly hostile. So I don't think we will ever be back. It used to be a nice stopover between Vienna and Germany. But one wants to relax at a Therme, not be on guard for the bad mood of the staff.

In general the hotel was very clean and well kept. the room was spacious and quite, even though one could tell that the furnishings were not really high end quality and a bit older. The bed was comfortable and thank god two separate blankets. The whole feel in the hallway of the hotel was more like a nursing home/ some kind of clinical therapy center and not a 4 star hotel. The other strange thing, and not very effective, was that there was only on one side of the bed a power outlet and a light switch. the food at the breakfast buffet and main course at dinner was good. At breakfast the juice maker and fresh squeezed orange juice machine were a really nice touch. At the dinner buffet it was very obvious that the deserts were bought from a known whole saler and not home made. I assume most things in general were not hope made or regionally sourced, but bought. The service at dinner was very slow and none existent. Funnily enough, the evening where it was busy was better than the one which was slower. Definitely needs improvement. Staff was friendly enough. The spa and sauna areas were great. The Zen Spa Relaxation Room was nice, but there was not one option to hang something; not even one hook, which was quite bothersome. Also the data as well as internet service didnt work in there. In addition, in certain areas water noise from the drain was very bothersome. One could tell that there was once an incident with water, because the ceiling was stained. I liked the idea that water, tea and snacks were provided.

Great spot, very relaxing. Happy to have vegan options at the Grill inside the Therme for lunch. Notes for improvement: offer vegan milk for coffee, fix the women’s bathroom toilet doors in the locker area which slam when closed, offer vegan food options in the spa area

**Review: Spa Resort in Geinberg** I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Spa Resort in Geinberg for a business meeting, and while my experience was overall satisfactory, it didn't quite reach the level of exceptional. Let's start with the accommodation itself. The hotel provided comfortable rooms and decent amenities, but it didn't offer anything particularly outstanding. The rooms were clean and adequately furnished, but they lacked a certain charm or luxurious touch that you might expect from a spa resort. However, where the Spa Resort truly shines is in its therme and spa facilities. The therme was a delightful escape, offering a variety of pools, saunas, and relaxation areas. The ambiance was serene, and I found it to be the perfect place to unwind after a long day of meetings. The spa treatments were also top-notch, providing a much-needed respite from the stresses of work. In terms of the meeting facilities, I found them to be quite suitable for our purposes. The location was convenient, and the meeting rooms were well-equipped with everything we needed for a productive session. The staff was accommodating and ensured that our event ran smoothly. Overall, while the hotel itself was okay, it was the therme and spa facilities that truly elevated my stay at the Spa Resort in Geinberg. If you're looking for a relaxing retreat with the added convenience of business amenities, this resort certainly fits the bill.

The park is nice for being outdated. prices are a little steep for what is offered at the park. Customer service, some of the workers there really need to understand that if they work with people they need to have a little bit of people skills, specially that dude working at the outdoor go karts. Smoking in the park should not be allowed as there are a lot of kids walking around at adult hand height and can be burned by the cigarettes, it happened to us. A no smoking park can be controlled by the owners, have a designated smoking section, just like other places do. Overall it was a good experience, updated areas could make the park more attractive, prices could be a little lower for the amount of rides.
Richard M — Google review
Great place for kids aged 4-12. The rides were really perfect for our 5 and 9 year old kids. Not too boring, not too scary, but a perfect fit. Plus, there's two bumper car rides (in German: autoscooter). You don't have to pay and wait for the ride to start, but grab a car and join. I also like the atmosphere in the park. It is a little bit older, but very attractive and down-to-earth.
Thorsten H — Google review
Children over 3 y/o even tho under 1m still have to buy tickets even though there aren't many rides where they can get on due to height restriction --> unfair pricing. Prices are too high for what is offered (very few rides, dirty bathrooms, ...) --> NOT recommended. Some employees seem not particularly friendly (this is an understatement)

A wonderful time with our Granddaughter. The entire park is made for everyone to enjoy. Rides for all ages included withing the entrance price. Wonderful walking paths or ride around the park on a park train. Enjoy the Flower Gardens and there are 2 BLACK SWANS for you to enjoy.
Dave M — Google review
We were there with our 2 year old. Its very huge park with many many rides and attractions. It has something for everyone. I was surprised to see how many rides for 2 year old are allowed, some of them were even bit risky, but you will have plenty to enjoy. Its has rides, spielplatz, sandbox, indoor speilplatz, waterpark so just name it. Food from restaurant is very tasty with many options. Ticket of 28 euros is worth. Parking is free and plenty. Now on other side park is really dated. You can see the age on everything so dont expect something which is in mint condition or very well preserved. They need to prepare some shades its literally open ground and on sunny summer day its really hard to find relaxing space. Like park, its employess too need some refresher course on how to be in hospitality industry as some of them seems to be not so friendly. Food takes 30 minutes to prepare due to high demand and only 1 kitchen. Overall its park in its old age and deserves one visit. I wanted to give it 3 stars but 4 th star is for its variety and inclusivity of all age groups.
Viraj D — Google review
One of the best amusement parks , especially for you family with 3yr old kid. All the rides are enjoyable. We visited on Monday and enjoyed fullest. Service is friendly. People can spend 3-5 hrs. Many kid friendly rides and designed for kids. Go for it if you go near by. Update: 14May2022 3rd time in the park as we love it. But this time on a Saturday, the park is little busy. There is some waiting time for Dashing Cars, Go-cart, and water rafting ride. The Park closes at 5PM. Other rides are ok. So, don't go on weekend.

2020 - Nice, especially for kids under 12. 2022 - We was back this year and a little has changed. A lot of attractions are managed by young guys or girls: once they start the machines they keep on watching the celly phone instead of the kids, they even seem to be working. This happened a lot of times. To the owner: be careful of the security of your guests and take a look of the workers always playing with telephones.

Super Theme Park with Bavarian flair! We’ve been coming for years, and it never disappoints. The park offers a great mix of thrilling rides, beautiful scenery, and fun activities for all ages. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the whole place is kept spotlessly clean. The Bavarian atmosphere adds a unique charm that sets it apart from other parks. Perfect for families, couples, and groups of friends looking for a fantastic day out. The staff is really friendly and you get to enjoy a wonderful atmosphere, while having fun. Bring your food and/or buy there. It’s really worth visiting. We came by car and it take a bit over an hour from Munich. There is plenty of free parking. We always look forward to our next visit!

We drove 1,5 hours just to visit this park and it was an amazing experience. This park is filled with different kind of attractions, Spielplatz and many seats for the parents to sit down. Great restaurants and many stations to eat or drink something- although it was a bit disturbing we couldn’t pay everywhere with card but overall it was okay. There’s also an animal park! The price, I found a bit too high at the beginning but after our day there, I changed my view because it was worth it absolutely 100% 🤩 And of course, we will visit again because we couldn’t even discover it all in one day ☺️

Great park, perfect for our kids age and height. Our 4, 6 and 8 year old could do all the rides expect 2-3 rides that they wouldn't have dared to take anyways. 2 rides were out of order, but no big deal. The different kiosks and cafe's may or may not accept card, which is absurd in 2025. So bring cash in case you promised your kids slush 🫠

A park much smaller then I though looking at the map, but it was great. Lots of attractions with a very short walk between them. It’s perfect during summer days as the park has lots of trees everywhere and it’s nice and shady. Waiting times were very short, from 2-3minutes to maximum 15-20 minutes, so we managed to do everything in one day. Food is average, same as in most of these kind of parks. The good thing is that you can bring your own snacks and drinks.

The place was big and beautiful and the facilities were fun but some of them were very unsafe. For example, the family tube facility was very dangerous and my whole family came out with painful injuries. In addition, my daughter was standing in line for a facility of this type of mechanism, so she sat on this car a little ahead of time and the operator of the facility behaved really rudely. He touched her shoulder and shouted at her to get out of the car and wait 5 minutes as punishment. Really rude. My daughter came out crying and said we will not go back there.

We went with kids, this was so much fun 🤩 you have to plan an entire day. On some rides you have to wait in the line as they are very popular. Zou can bring your own foods and drinks. Lot of fun. I recommend this place for family with small kids.

Bayern Park is located in the South East of Bavaria 1.5hrs drive from Munich. It’s worth the trip, because you can spend a full day with the whole family in the park. There are rides for all ages, cute & slow for smaller children, but also rollercoasters and a free fall tower for teenagers and adults. There’s also a quieter part where you can see some animals and have a walk through a nice little wood. Prices are fair and you get a lot value for money. Parking is not an issue, plenty of space.

Medieval pilgrimage church housing an elaborately clothed Black Madonna statue from the 1300s.
Such a beautiful church with a lot of history! Seeing all the picture stories of the miracles, prayers on paper stuck in between the pictures was touching. People still come and visit and pray. Inside, no photos are allowed obviously, but it was very moving. Seeing the Black Madonna was a beautiful moment. We also walked inside the nearby church as well and and it was absolutely beautiful and stunning inside! Definitely worth the stop, full of history in this town, and beautiful!!

The miraculous shrine of the black Madonna and the oldest Maria shrine in germany, also refers to as Lourdes of Germany. honoured by the visit of two popes, many offerings (metal hearts, artifacts, portraits) are hanged on the walls. this is the center of Bavarian faith and truly a place of great beauty. A must visit.

Beautiful church along German Camino. Take the time to read some of the many images of thanks. Peaceful setting in town square- numerous cafes and shops.

One in small form but it’s large in history and significance. One must visit this pilgrimage chapel if you visit to Altötting.

One of the best mother Mary's church. It's a special place in Germany
Jobin M — Google review
This is truly a Marina jewel and the Marian heart of Bavaria, including the centuries old Gnadekapelle which is the centrally located and small, somewhat darkly lit (but a gorgeous candlelight type of dark!) chapel with the primary object of focus and now ancient Madonna and Child statue which has had an impressive number of miracles, both those proven and those not officially proven attributed to the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary to Jesus through it. I have 2 pictures of the the Grandekapelle and also others of the much larger Stiftspfarrkirche which stands adjacent to the Gnadekapelle. It is also simply exhilarating to stand in the Kapellplatz (Chapel Square) and take in the southern German views. The entire shrine has abundant areas within which to pray and reflect as well as opportunities nearby to do some Catholic religious goods shopping for devotional objects and holy souvenirs. I have now twice been here, and it is a peaceful and reflective experience. May your journey there be blessed!

Erdinger Brewery - Brewery Tours

Brewery
Food & Drink
Erdinger Brewery, located in Erding, Germany, is renowned for its wheat beers and holds the title of the largest wheat beer brewery globally. Established in 1886 by Johann Kienle, it offers a 3-hour tour featuring tastings and Bavarian snacks. Visitors praise the informative English-speaking guides and the opportunity to sample various beers. The brewery's attention to detail and quality throughout the brewing process is also highlighted. Additionally, affordable student rates are available for tours.
This was an amazing experience! Love Erdinger so it was so good to finally come and visit it at source. The tour was in German but nevertheless we had a great experience. After the tour we were treated to a traditional meal of sausage, cheese and pretzels with a few different choices of Erdinger to wash it all down! If your an Erdinger enthusiast then I would recommend this please 100%

Christopher C — Google review
We went for a brewery tour and tasting on a Wednesday 15/10/2025 for the English speaking tour. I'll start by saying how lovely all the staff were and how enthusiastic they were about the brewery! It was really interesting to learn how Erdinger is made and all the different beers they brew. The tasting was a highlight with an option of Obatzda or Weisswurst and Pretzel to pair with the beers. I managed to sample at least three of the beers and they were all as delicious as the next. The only downside to my experience was the slightly hard to reach location of the brewery. We were coming from the Therme Erding and there was no easy route. Of course this is not the brewery's fault so it's still a 5 star review! Thank you Erdinger Brewery for such an amazing tour!

Eva was an excellent guide who was very knowledgeable about the brewing process. Make sure you tip them at the end- they work so hard and do a great job!

Booked a tour for a Saturday at 14. Their shop with merch closes at 13. How is that possible? The signage for meeting points etc. are bad and the ticket confirmation mail is only in German. Bad tourist experience. I actually also signed up for their free membership, where you get send a physical €5 voicher sent to your foreign home add, that only works in the shop. The voucher doesn't work online and, naturally, not in a closed shop.
Mikkel S — Google review
HIGHLY recommend this tour. We came to Erding for our wedding and a bunch of our guests joined us for this tour. It was a great group activity. This was a highlight of our week! I have been to other breweries and have done other tours around the world but this was hands down my favourite one! The hospitality was wonderful. We started off with a beer and ended with multiple beers. (Full glasses, not just shot glasses). All the beer options were so good! We also received food; sausages and pretzels with the most amazing mustard. We didn't even need to go out for dinner after. The tour was very informative, with lots of walking and stairs which is good for me who likes to be active on trips. I would definitely come back! This is a MUST DO if you like beer and are in Erding. We are forever a Erdinger family now.

Allianz Arena, home to Bayern Munich, is a renowned football stadium and one of the most impressive athletic venues globally. Designed by Herzog & de Meuron, its unique architecture features 2,784 ETFE plastic panels that give it a distinctive appearance resembling an inflatable cushion with translucent air pockets. What sets it apart is its luminous exterior that changes color based on the team playing: red for Bayern, blue for TSV 1860, and white for Germany.
An iconic stadium and a must-see for football fans! ⚽ The design is incredible especially when it’s lit up at night. The area is clean and well-organized, with easy access by metro. Even if there’s no match, the tour and museum are definitely worth it.

The FC Bayern stadium (Allianz Arena) has a very high capacity. The exterior design is modern and can change color at night. It houses both a Museum and an FC Bayern Store. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to join the Arena Tour, which is a real shame. The downside of this stadium is that there are very few nice photo spots outside, apart from taking pictures with the stadium itself, and if you come by U-Bahn, it's a very long and exhausting walk.
Tongz N — Google review
Wonderful arena and an amazing experience. My dad received a VIP tour and museum tickets for his 59th birthday. We were guided around the stadium and even taken to exclusive areas like the locker room and the tunnel where the players walk out before the match. The museum has absolutely everything, and the layout is beautifully done. I was also pleasantly surprised that the stadium shop is not overpriced at all. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience. Even though I’m not a football fan myself, we went because of my father, and I actually felt sad to leave because I enjoyed it so much. Go Bayern München! 🫶🏻❤️⚽️

The group tour is great. To get to see all the history behind such a big club was a great experience. Hopefully I’ll be able to visit again whit the hopes of seeing a match. Overall it was cool and the best part is that I didn’t have to sell kidney to take the tour, it was really affordable. Definitely recommend checking it out.

We booked the English speaking tour with Franz, and he was very informative and engaging. There was plenty of Oporto take photos, and you could visit the change rooms, sit in the stands and on the substitutes bench. Afterwards we visited the museum which was very interactive. You could take a photo of yourself and have it appear on a scrolling wall of photos, and there was also the opportunity to take a photo with your favourite players. There are things for kids to do, such as building their own trophy with blocks, as well as a stadium with Lego. There is a small futsal pitch for them to play on, as well as climbing equipment. It’s definitely worth the visit for the whole family.
Ros B — Google review
The wonderful place to visit. I highly recommend to join the guide tour because you can experience a very special introduction in the court. The one thing is, you can understand the space of stadium and also you can learn the history of the stadium.

Great stadium, truly impressive from the moment you walk in. The shop is huge, well-stocked, and full of cool merch for every type of fan. The museum is surprisingly rich with history, displaying iconic moments, trophies, and even a small cinema where you can sit and enjoy a short film about the club’s journey. The stadium tour itself is well-organized, informative, and gives you access to some amazing angles you don’t normally get to see. Staff throughout the entire experience were warm, helpful, and very professional. Highly recommended if you’re a football fan or simply appreciate great sporting culture and storytelling.

Overall a nice experience.

It's a vast general museum, encompassing everything not covered in the art and antique museums. Currently half of it is under renovation, but the open part is big enough to keep you busy for a long time. I focused mainly on the air and space aspect, nice collection of vintage and more modern planes, some of the very first rockets including a V2, and a very nice floor on spaceships. I also enjoyed the section on coding. I checked out photography, printing and musical instruments before my time ran out. It was a solid 3 hours. Overall it is good, not necessarily a must-see if you are first time visitor to Munich pressed on time.

A wonderful place to visit with children. The museum offers a great experience, and the restaurant–café on the roof is definitely worth a stop. Bought tickets online ahead of time which proved helpful! There is an audio guide that they provide but there are SO MANY rooms and the audio guide talks for so long—we eventually abandoned. That said, the Residence is MASSIVE and so so many of the rooms are available for viewing. Incredibly lavish and opulent. We really enjoyed! Side note, they are very serious about not letting people in after an hour before closing. We saw a lot of people turned away and lectured as we were leaving! Plan accordingly!

The city center of Munich is an absolutely stunning and lively area centered around the famed Marienplatz. Dominated by the magnificent Neues Rathaus (New Town Hall), a Neo-Gothic architectural gem, the square's highlight is the famous Glockenspiel, which draws crowds daily to watch its mechanical figures perform. The area is a fantastic blend of history and modern life, with the towering Frauenkirche (Cathedral) just a short walk away, alongside the bustling Viktualienmarkt and the start of the main pedestrian shopping zones (like Kaufingerstraße). Whether you're sightseeing at the Residenz, shopping for luxury goods, or simply soaking up the authentic Bavarian atmosphere at a nearby Wirtshaus, the city center serves as the perfect, walkable hub for exploring all that Munich has to offer.

Also in the museum is card only ( weird for being Germany) but a great thing to know. Theres different types of tours available and also shops. In the other side of the museum ( crossing the bridge) theres BMW Welt which is also nice and free

Fantastic museum showcasing BMW's impressive history and innovation! Even though it was quite crowded during our visit, the museum is excellently organized, making it easy to navigate through the exhibits. The collection of classic and modern vehicles is stunning, and the displays are well-curated. A must-visit for car enthusiasts and anyone interested in automotive history!

Well laid out and easy to navigate the museum. I bought tickets on my phone as i walked up to the building but there are also koisks inside. There are free lockers for small/medium bags and a jacket. There is a small Cafe with sandwiches, salad, pizza, drinks and coffee. If your thing is cars, motorcycles, airplanes, motors or just BMW in general this is a must see.

The BMW Museum in Munich is a sleek, architecturally stunning tribute to over 100 years of the Bavarian Motor Works brand, showcasing its evolution from aircraft engines to the iconic cars and motorcycles of today. The museum's unique, futuristic design complements the exhibits, which are meticulously curated to cover every aspect of the company's history, design philosophy, and motorsport heritage. Highlights include the stunning collection of vintage and concept cars, the powerful engine displays, and the legendary BMW Art Cars. The museum is conveniently located right next to the modern, free-to-enter BMW Welt, which features the latest models, creating a seamless and comprehensive day of exploring the history, present, and future of BMW innovation.

BMW Welt is a futuristic distribution center and exhibition hall located near the Olympiastadion in Munich. It serves as a vast showroom where visitors can admire the entire current product offering of BMW, including sedans, Minis, racing cars, electric vehicles, and even Rolls-Royces. The building itself is an architectural wonder made of glass and steel twisted into a double cone with a roof resembling a floating cloud.
We visited BMW Welt this past week when we were in Munich. It is free to enter and explore. What an amazing experience. It is free to enter. It serves as a multifunctional exhibition, delivery, and event center. It is located across the street from the BMW HQ and Museum and next to the Olympic Park in Munich. To me it is a prime example of customer Experience. We watched people drive off in their new BMW. What a tremendous feeling. There are plenty of car exhibits from BMW, Mini, Motorcycles, Rolls Royce. There is a huge BMW shop and plenty of places to get something to eat. BMW really does it right with BMW Welt. Never seen anything like it in my life. Just spectacular. We loved our visit.

Impressive place for any car lover! 🚗 The architecture is stunning and you can see BMW’s latest models up close. There’s also a nice mix of history and innovation, plus a few great photo spots. Easy to reach by metro and worth a visit even if you’re not a hardcore BMW fan.

As a car fan, stepping into BMW Welt feels like entering automotive heaven. The moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by stunning displays of BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce models, each showcased under sleek lighting that makes them look even more spectacular. You can sit inside the cars, explore the interiors, feel the craftsmanship, and even hop onto your favourite BMW motorcycles for a quick photo or to experience the seating comfort. Easy to get to with affordable on-site parking underneath. Very cool, modern building design inside and out. A good selection of cars to look at as well, but no replacement for the proper BMW museum. But of course you should plan to spend some time here anyways as you have to walk through to get to the full museum anyways. I did not get any food, but there were several restaurants inside which all looked good. Of course the scenery inside is great too!

This is a free museum/interactive showroom Went here for a quick visit. We enjoyed because there is option to get in vehicles, touch fully functional vehicle. Many learning opportunities too in terms of engineering and some history and insight on the direction of BMW. You'd have to be an automotive enthusiast or a big fan of BMW to really appreciate how great this place is

BMW Welt: You can only examine the autos you regularly see on the street!! The others speazial autos are locked. Only you can look! All the IX and M5 are too locked ! The attendants won't open them when you auch ask. Appointments are apparently required. !! In short, you can only view the vehicles from the outside. The attendants don't even introduce them. If I looked very rich and cool, maybe I would have a chance. :)) It's a complete disappointment. You could inspect many more BMWs if you went to a standard BMW dealership.! or from the photos I added :)) it's the same anyway. :))

amazing that all of this is available to see for free! although definitely add the museum onto your trip as well, even if it costs extra! the cars are absolutely stunning, and you're even able to sit in some of them! the cafe was expensive, but my pistachio croissant was a delicious breakfast.

We truly enjoyed walking through the spacious grounds, taking in the unique architecture of the Olympic facilities and the stunning lake views. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Munich! 🌟

Absolutely beautiful place. Very well maintained. The sea world is good but not worth the high price tag it carries. Far more beautiful aquariums exist at a much lesser price. The real attraction lies in the pond side benches behind the sea world. Tranquil, pretty and a great place to just sit by and catch your thoughts.

A beautiful, large park with a few big halls offering excellent opportunities for swimming and other sport activities and occasional concerts. There are also a nice lake, a hill offering a splendid view of the park and the city, plenty of paths for walking, jogging and riding a bike in the park. A prominent sign of the park is it's high Olympic tower. A great place for spare time, making sport and other activities and simply relaxing. Easy to reach by subway and some buses.

★★★★★ A Fantastic Day Out at Olympiapark München! What an absolutely delightful experience we had exploring Olympiapark München! It's so much more than just a park; it's a vibrant, beautifully maintained space. We enjoyed a very pleasant walk through the expansive grounds, admiring the unique architecture of the Olympic facilities. The Olympic pool was particularly amazing – it looked so inviting, and it seemed like people were enjoying it for exercise, which is fantastic to see! As we strolled, we could hear a music festival playing in the distance, which created a really great atmosphere for our walk. The landscape design throughout the park is simply stunning, making it a truly picturesque place to spend time. Parking was easy to find, though it is paid, it's definitely worth it for the convenience and access to such a wonderful place. We highly recommend a visit to Olympiapark – it's a memorable highlight in Munich!

A huge and spacious park near the residential area. Many people running or cycling around the park. You can go to the top to see the view of the city. BMW building just next to it.

A nice place for the concert, event with a bit weird acoustics. We were there multiple times for different events and every one sounded different. A good thing is there's plenty of space, a variety of different bars and snacks, quite comfortable seats and always great atmosphere. The last event we were at was The Offspring concert and it was great, thanks!

A beautiful place to walk, breathe, relax, and get away from the city. It also offers great opportunities for those interested in architecture. I recommend using public transportation.
