Then our mains arrived - X1 turkey dinner, x1 hunters chicken and x1 sirloin steak. The hunters chicken was literally swimming in BBQ sauce, photos will be attached. I had a mouthful of the chicken and left it, it wasn't great; the texture and taste was horrific. The sirloin steak was full of fat.. luckily part of it was good enough to take home for the dog, but not very edible for my dad. I mean, a positive I suppose from all this, the chips was alright👍 Overall though, I've had better pub grub at a wetherspoons. Our waitress come to collect our plates and we've asked to speak to the manager and, as I've said above, he certainly has got the right attitude for this job, he needs to learn some basic customer service skills. As well as providing us with competitive prices for all our guests, they created a range of rooms ranging from single occupancy to family rooms and triples. The rooms were clean and tidy but could have done with a little modernisation. The breakfast was of a good standard with a nice selection of hot food and plenty of cups of tea and coffee. The staff also looked after lost property after the event when one of our guests forgot something. Thank you for everything Gainsborough!
