First time my wife and I have been here. What a wonderful place to eat. Atmosphere was great! And the food beyond a doubt the best we’ve had in the area. The price is well worth the visit! The setting of having the diner located in an old gas station was genius. It really made me believe I was back in time. No detail missed on the ambiance. We ate at outside dining on a cold night and it was perfect. They showed us to the table, put down seating pads in each chair under a covered dining area with plenty of heaters to stay warm. They also had extra lap blankets for our legs. Wow they thought of everything! My meal starter with seasonal mulled wine that was perfectly made. My meal was sea bass over risotto rice and vegetables. It was crazy how perfect it was cooked. To perfection and not overdone and although we were in a gas station it felt like a fine dining experience. Folks everything we ate was beyond good. This is the place if you want to get out and have a change with great food and great atmosphere. We loved it! Thank you for a wonderful experience!!!

You wouldn't guess that you'd get fine dining level food out of what looks like an old gas station. Surprise!! The food is amazing. Everything from starters to dessert was absolutely delicious and the service was great. We had the scallops and beef short ribs for dinner and both were excellent. The lemon curd tart was perfectly tart and the pot de creme was a chocolate lovers dream come true.
They have a very small dining area (outside currently but that may change) so make sure you make reservations ahead of time. If you are in the area you don't want to miss this place!

The service started off pretty slow since a large party showed up just after I did but finished strong. The Cesar Salad was presented well. The dressing was a little too creamy for my taste. However, the flash fried oysters were outstanding!!! The crab cake was very meaty with well balanced flavors. Both of these were small plates and had the perfect sauce that completed each very well. Ok this place is a 10 When you arrive it’s a old gas station and a tent outside with a 1920 Ford in front. I looked and said how can this place get unbeatable reviews and decided to stay . I was greeted by a really friendly staff. I got the Prime Rib and my wife got the scallops and shrimp with grits. It was like a 5 star Michelin restaurant.

We chose to sit on the upstairs open deck, overlooking the now-placid river beneath a brilliant Carolina blue sky, while enjoying a delicious personal pan pizza and a finely crafted brew.

Marshall has always needed a restaurant that locals could go and eat good quality food and not break the bank. And now they have it! The Main Street Cafe is absolutely out of this world good! With that good home cooking, soul filling food served here, i look forward to eating here every chance i get! I have had the privilege to have lunch here for 2 days in a row. Hamburger steak mash potatoes and gravy and a fresh garden salad! You can't get that anywhere else in Madison County....especially for $13.50!!! Great prices out of this world, great food and wonderful staff! Highly, highly recommend! They even open on Sunday for the church community, and that is something madison County needed for a very long time and now has!

The food was decent my biscuit and gravy didn’t seem that fresh. The waitress was overwhelmed and showing frustration. Definitely needed help. Wowwwwie!!! What an awesome place. We had a bike emergency on a ride today and On Your Bike went way above and beyond to help us out. Really awesome folks. Very cute dog. Great espresso while we waited. 11/10 would break my bike near here again.

We saw a sign outside that said "Watermelon slushie with Spicy limeade," & I was 100% committed when we read spicy! So we stopped in to check it out & so glad we did because that slushie was fantastic & I wish we had got two for the road.
While waiting for our drinks, my husband asked about the baked goods they had (which looked yummy!) & if any were gluten-free (none are) & was happily greeted with the suggestion to try Coconut Mango Chia Pudding. Great suggestion because it was so creamy & fantastic.
This is a coffee, Café & bike shop all in one. So we saw quite a few cyclists parked there for a bite or refuel with a drink. Friendly service & chill atmosphere.

I was really excited when they opened back up. I will not be again but I would recommend it at least once because it has a nice set up that reminds me of friends that is worth seeing.
Looks wise this place is a 10/10. The food is pretty good and the coffee is pretty good. The physical atmosphere is great but the vibe atmosphere is not.
The service is.... pretty condescending (unless you're a regular I'm assuming?) The workers are annoyed if you don't immediately know what you want and need to ask questions. No one smiled from the second we walked in to the second we left.
This place also is not family friendly at all either, they do not like kids. We eete my the only ones with kids there, there were maybe 3 or four but this is not the place to bring them if they are under eleven years old or else you will be mad with annoyamce and irritation from the second you walk in. (Now I was told this before I went with my child4en so i shouldn't be suprised but I didn't listen. Hopefully you have better a lot if you do)
