We visited on a bit of an overcast day but the skies cleared and offered spectacular views of Interlaken. We purchased the special ticket offering return trip on the Harder Klum Funicular and a set lunch menu at the Panorama restaurant at the top. Great value. The trip is also wheelchair accessible however you need to locate the back entrance which is further up the road from the main boarding area, on the first side entrance on the left. Well worth the visit.

Absolutely amazing! The funicular is super fun and the views at the top are insane — mountains, lakes, everything. The viewing platform is a must, and the restaurant has great vibes too. Perfect spot for sunset. Don’t miss it if you’re in Interlaken 👍

The views from the top are absolutely breathtaking — definitely one of the best panoramas in Switzerland. The ride up was smooth and easy, and once you get there, the viewing platform makes it feel like you’re floating above Interlaken. We loved taking our time at the top just soaking in the mountains, the lakes, and the fresh air. Such a peaceful and memorable place. Totally worth the trip — highly recommended!

We recently visited Harder Kulm, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Located above the beautiful town of Interlaken, this panoramic viewpoint offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, lakes, and the iconic Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks. The journey to the top is an adventure in itself taking a funicular ride from Interlaken up to the summit ( there happens to be a pretty steep hike as well that can take you up there) was smooth, comfortable, and gave us our first taste of the stunning alpine scenery. Once at the top, we were greeted with a 360-degree vista that truly took our breath away. The observation platform is perfect for photos, and we spent quite a while just soaking in the views. We also had a chance to explore the area a little more, with well-maintained paths leading to even more scenic spots around the summit. One of the highlights was the viewing platform's ( also referred to as the two lakes bridge as you get to see the Thun and Brienz lakes) glass floor.Stepping out onto it felt like flying over the town of Interlaken, and it was a thrilling experience. For those who are a bit more adventurous, there also are a couple of hikes around ( one’s simple the other being a challenging strenuous hike) where you can feel completely surrounded by nature and mountains. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the warm atmosphere. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing day out or an adventure in the mountains, Harder Kulm delivers both in spades. Highly recommend this spot if you're in the area and it's definitely worth the visit!

Fun steep ride up to the view point. Unfortunately the weather fogged up and stares to rain. We took some quick pictures and headed back to beat the crowds on the return trip. This was included in our travel pass so we figured we'd check it out no matter the weather.

After a short funicular ride, the view from top of Harder Kulm was fantastic, even on a semi-cloudy day. I really enjoyed the visit.

Visited Harder Kulm with my wife and kid and absolutely loved it. The view from the top is breathtaking, overlooking Interlaken and the lakes. The funicular ride was smooth and scenic, and the viewpoint is perfect for family photos. A wonderful experience for all ages

Worth a quick 20-minute stop for sure. Huge green lawn that looks great in photos, and right next door there’s a chocolate shop with plenty of varieties — perfect for grabbing some souvenirs.

The park is open to surrounding mountain views that are its most distinct feature. Absence of tall trees serves the purpose of enjoying the nature much more than if park was a leafy arboretum.

A picturesque view from here. Nearby a landing place for paragliders. Its super calm and traquil to sit on the benches. One can shop for souvenirs and swiss watches in several stores just next to it. Plenty of parking spaces. Beware to get the parking ticket as the authorities are actively looking for freeloaders.

Spacious and clean park where you can watch paragliders land. The park has benches under trees next to beautiful flower arrangements which were all in full bloom at the time of visit (mid June).

This park is a landing place for paragliding at interlaken...large open place with trees, benches on the main street side. Great place to see paraglider landing - mostly commercial tandem paragliding- and feel the excitement from the gliders and pilots.

This is the most stunning, beautiful and breathtaking part of Interlaken. The park is a huge open space with beautiful surrounding mountains of Interlaken. This is the landing spot of paragliding in Interlaken. Exactly opposite This park is Interlaken casino where you will find the bronze statue of Yash Chopra. This is also the location where the DDLJ movie scene of Raj spraying water on Simran's face was shot. There are benches to sit, relax and enjoy the view.

Both the churches are ok, the look better from the outside than inside. You can walk around the building complex but not inside since there are town hall's offices.

I recently visited this delightful chocolate cafe and had a fantastic experience that I’d love to share. From the moment I walked in, the cozy and inviting atmosphere put me at ease, with the rich aroma of chocolate drifting through the air. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, greeting me with smiles and offering helpful menu suggestions, which really enhanced my visit. The star of my experience was the chocolate pastry. It was beautifully presented and tasted absolutely divine—rich, moist, and perfectly sweet, with deep chocolate flavors that felt indulgent but not overwhelming. The pastry had a lovely creamy filling and a glossy chocolate glaze that made each bite incredibly satisfying. You can tell that real care goes into their desserts, both in terms of flavor and presentation. Beyond the pastry, the cafe had an impressive selection of other chocolate treats, showcasing a true passion for chocolate in all its forms. Whether you’re catching up with friends, treating yourself, or simply love great chocolate, this cafe is a must-visit. My visit ended on a high note, leaving me looking forward to coming back and trying more of their tempting offerings. Highly recommended for all chocolate lovers!

I had such a blast at the Funky Chocolate Club! The class was so much fun and very entertaining, and I learned a lot about chocolate along the way. The instructor was funny, helpful, and very knowledgeable, which made the whole experience even better. The chocolate itself was amazing, and I left with both delicious treats and a ton of new knowledge. 100% would recommend this to anyone. Everybody should do this class at least once!

Took a chocolate making class. Learned about how chocolate is processed from the tree to the table. Learned how the percentages of chocolate is calculated as well as the difference between Swiss and American chocolate standard. Then, made our own chocolate bars with designs and decorations. To top it off, all the chocolate you can eat!!!!!!

This café served the best chocolate I’ve ever had in my life — rich, smooth, and unforgettable. The atmosphere was equally delightful, with a warm and inviting tone that made me want to linger. I would definitely come back again.

The strawberries and chocolate cup is a much! Funky is a great name for this place. It's fun and quirky. Had couple other desserts but the strawberries and chocolate killed! Yum!

Definitely go to the chocolate making class. We had so much fun decorating our bars. The place itself is really cute and desserts looks absolutely amazing. We got hot chocolate with added baileys- delicious. Everybody working there is super nice.

The chocolate is delicious, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet. The toppings are generous and the presentation is attractive. The service is also friendly and fast, making the experience even more enjoyable.

I recently dined at Little Thai, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment I walked in, the warm atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel welcome. The menu offered a fantastic variety of authentic Thai dishes, and each one was bursting with flavor. I started with the Tom Yum soup, which had the perfect balance of spice and tang. For the main course, I ordered the Pad Thai, and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had—perfectly cooked noodles and fresh ingredients! The presentation was beautiful, and the portions were generous. I also appreciated the thoughtful selection of vegetarian options. To top it all off, the dessert menu was tempting, and I couldn’t resist trying the mango sticky rice—it was heavenly! Little Thai is a hidden gem that I highly recommend to anyone craving delicious Thai cuisine. I can’t wait to return!

This place was just a gem. Its off the beaten path but all of the flavors tasted very authentic. They had so many interesting dishes to try. They also had a delicious sweet iced latte! The glass noodles were really good and unique and I thought they would actually be good cold on a hot day - like a salad. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you like Thai food.

Came here twice on our trip to Interlaken, we enjoyed Little Thai that much! Friendly and lovely atmosphere, staff all very friendly. For gluten free, staff also were very knowledgeable and provided a clearly marked GF menu, making it extremely easy to order. You must try the spring rolls, they are the best I’ve ever had.

Big portion, Authentic Thai food, staffs are friendly. Highly recommended 🌷Thai tea is so tasty like you drink in Thailand.

On a very rainy day in Interlaken, without a reservation at any restaurant we found Little Thai. A very small restaurant but an owner who didn't turn is away. She opened up a table outside under the awning (so we remained dry) left us some blankets and took our orders. Food was out in no time at all. Nice and hot and full of flavour. We also didn't expect it to be so spicy but that was a great suprise. Portion sizes are large so despite the prices being high (because everything in Switzerland is expensive) we at least ate really well. We'd return again.

I love this place, friendly people, good service and family-feeling atmosphere. Especially they serve really giant portion. The taste is not needed to discuss. Highly recommended ✅ ah Thai Tea here is perfect. Whenever I visit here, I never forget to order it.

This was a lovely restaurant tucked away in the heart of Interlaken. The atmosphere was incredibly serene—perfect for a relaxing meal. I had their pulled beef burger with fries, and it was absolutely divine. I paired it with a ginger beer that was both refreshing and crisp. What truly stood out was their rare Swiss wine—exclusively sold at the restaurant. It was incredibly smooth and flavorful, a real treat for the palate. The service was just as impressive—warm, attentive, and prompt. Taverne is definitely a gem worth visiting!

The food here is really good. Everything we had was excellent. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. Relaxed atmosphere with seating indoors and outdoors. Next to a Japanese garden, which is neither here nor there, but anyway, it’s next to a Japanese garden. Pork belly very much recommended - lovely flavours and presentation. Fondue also.

I had an amazing experience at Tavern Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious – every dish was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. What made the evening even more special was the excellent service from Svitlana. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right throughout our meal. Her warm personality and professionalism truly elevated the dining experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food paired with outstanding service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Nice warm friendly staff. The restaurant was quite busy and couldn’t accept a walk-in. But we booked for a table for later time roughly a 40mim wait. Had to try the cheese fondue when in Switzerland which was okaish in taste as the blue cheese flavour was quite strong. Liked the rosti and pasta, nice and fresh. Good restaurant option in Interlaken which was walking distance from our hotel

Had an absolutely lovely time celebrating my partners birthday here. Food, atmosphere and staff were all excellent and they even took the time to make a special table and place sparklers on our dessert. Definitely a memorable dinner and would recommend it to anyone visiting the region.

This was conveniently located in our hotel so we decided to visit for dinner. The cheese fondue is okay, very strong with a blue-cheese like taste. The rosti was good, couldn’t tell if all the veggies were fresh though. The dessert symphony was bad, I would skip. The chocolate fondue was good, can’t beat dipping fruit and nut into straight, melted Swiss chocolate.

I am highly impressed by the ambiance and aesthetics of the restaurant inside. The restaurant servers are so welcoming and assisting, very much made me feel so warm. A big cheer for the whole team. Thanks!!

Just be prepared that there is always a queue when you come here, but it's for good reasons. We came here as a family for dinner, greeted by extremely friendly and helpful staffs, always smiley no matter how busy they are. The Swiss burger, Schnitzel and barbeque pork ribs were very tasty. The atmosphere was nice as well, just a bit noisy as it was very busy. Will definitely recommend coming here.

Great local bar joint with local vibes. Had a late lunch consisting of the rib platter and “macaroni and cheese” which is a local dish. Food was very good, well above average bar food. A good mix of locals and tourists.

Food was very heavy (as expected) but very tasty! The pork schnitzel and the bratwurst were good; their fries were some of the best I’ve had in Europe. The beer selection was good, although the bar service was a little slow. Our server was very nice and entertaining but definitely was struggling to man all the tables outside and our dishes and beers came out somewhat disjointed. Overall, good food and beer.

I am a tourist and this was recommended to me by a Swiss local and it did not disappoint. I was quite shocked that the serving is really big as you can see 😅 but taste wise, REALLY GOOD AND FALL OF THE BONE! Highly recommended!

Just wanted to have a quick dinner so came here and ordered as I sat down. Food was okay, more on the salty side & the service was also okay (no table water was offered). The shocking part was when I went to pay, I asked if they could fill up my water bottle with their tap as they have a bar area but was told told to go fill it up in the bathroom instead. Anywhere else would have been okay but the bathroom? I was too shocked so I just left. This is the first time something like this ever happened and Ive travelled to many many countries before really shocking.

Really good and tasty food, with big enough portions and decent prices. Given that it’s Interlaken we’re talking about, I consider the served food of real quality, totally the opposite to some tourist scams out there, and decently priced, not only from the Interlaken pov, but the Swiss one in general. I had the spicy sausage with potato salad and cabbage and some focaccia bread and again, everything was quite tasty. I wasn’t stuffed when I finished, but quite full. Would go there again the next time I’m around.

Stumbled upon this restaurant because was close by to hotel and sure glad we did! Great beer selection for my friends and a waitress gave me a stellar non-beer recommendation which was the best thing I've drank in Europe so far as was our meal. We got the ribs and a platter to share between 3 of us and that was plenty! The ribs fell off the bone and had a delicious flavor of never had on ribs before. Pretzels were soft and had cheese dip which was a nice change from all the mustard. The staff was the most friendly of anywhere we've been. So welcoming. Shepy, the owner, was also our waiter and was hilarious and just above and beyond. The atmosphere was fun and though if you don't get there early enough you may have to wait outside, I very much so appreciated that as then people weren't on top of you. If we stayed longer we'd come back for sure!

A Brasserie with a View — and a Heart Stopped in just after 2 p.m. for a light lunch and left feeling I’d found a hidden gem. The restaurant is split between an outdoor terrace and an elegant indoor space with high ceilings, chandeliers, and generously spaced tables. Warm bread with olive oil and apple balsamic set the tone, followed by a velvety cauliflower soup that was so good I wanted to ask for the recipe. Service was warm and personal — I was even offered a newspaper along with a panoramic view of the Jungfrau. Nearby, a family was enjoying a beautiful afternoon tea. A small but memorable taste of Swiss hospitality.

We had a lovely experience dining here. The food was very good, and we celebrated my daughter’s birthday at the restaurant. The staff member who attended to us was exceptionally kind and made the occasion extra special — we truly appreciated the warm hospitality. As Asian guests visiting from Singapore, we felt very welcomed here, which made the celebration even more memorable. Thank you for the wonderful service!

We had a great experience and our waitress was excellent and the Sommelier was amazing. He recommended us the Les Pogades from 2014 and went great with our food. Food was also delicious and my steak was done to perfection. Thank you to the team that made our evening special and would definitely go there again.

Loved taking coffee and dessert at this place, overlooking the paragliding landings and the park across, of course you get to see a view of the Interlaken while taking your siesta or hygge. You just have to look for the waitstaff to get seated and have your order across as it’s quite busy especially during summer breaks. Their NY Cheesecake is light and surprisingly filling by the time you’ve finished it up and the latte can be ordered cold. Food and drinks are also unexpectedly reasonably priced.

Staffs are so kind and lovely. I was the only one who came alone and 3 staffs asked me if the food was okay. They were so friendly and I could feel that I was being concerned and treated well in the restaurant. View was amazing and I would like to visit there again.

Was looking for a restaurant to eat and only found tourist traps and some basic local restaurants that weren’t good . Then walked by the park and found this hidden gem by pure luck . The food was amazing ( i ordered the chicken that is on front of the menu and it was delicious) and a brusketta as an appetizer and it was wow too. The view is what was incredible. I posted a picture and a video . I highly recommend this place.

Rooftop restaurant with stunning views of Interlaken. The staff took a little too long to take orders or refills but was very helpful when she did. I think some music would have completely changed the atmosphere and we may not have left.

We went to have lunch at 3 pm, when we entered and asked to look at the menu, the staff was super unkind, and not welcoming. said the kitchen is closed and there is only salad and pizza, the waiter pointed to a stack of menus and then got mad we didn’t take the right one, obviously cause we don’t know. After looking at the menu and feeling like we are not welcome we got up and left

The views of Interlaken are amazing, the food is good and the service was stellar! I had let them know in advance that we were celebrating a friend’s birthday so they placed a bit of confetti on the table and even provided a complimentary slice of cake. I will be back next time I visit Interlaken!
