More of a personal reaction, as my family came from Fano and I imagine this arch was familiar to them all through the years. Although the families have lost touch, enjoying the arch helps me feel connected to them.

The must-see sight of Fano, built during the Roman Empire, the arch still stands strong, as the entrance to Centro.

Included in the menu was also three small amuse dishes and a frozen “club” before the dessert. True quality and ambition all through the lunch including the service.

Nice spot in Fano with CREATIVE fish/seafood cuisine, which is not so easy to find - it is not a „classical Italian fish/seafood restaurant“ ☝️. Already the two „welcome dishes“ were a positive surprise. As the starter I had grilled octopus, which was very tasty and could be a little bit more roasted/crunchy. The second dish was raw tuna pieces (sashimi quality ☝️) with a delicate marinade. That was delicious. Last but not least I took seafood tagliatelle with a sauce like a “light bouillabaisse” in order to have a fish taste. That one was a slight disappointment after the tasty courses before. I think, If that seafood would have been cooked with e.g. “tomato passata and tomato concentrate” (incl. several herbs like bay leafs, garlic, parsley etc.) on low temperature for min. 2hrs in casserole the result would have been better. May be next time? The wine proposal was perfectly fitting! Finally thanks to the attentive staff and the hostess. 😃
