Coming out of the train station, you'll be treated to an impressive view of this imposing defensive structure. For an entrance fee of €5 per person, you can visit this elaborately restored complex and also enjoy a beautiful view of the old town. The staff is very friendly and speaks English. Both the fortress and the town are highly recommended. Beautiful, with their own unique charm. Thank you for the wonderful day.

The Roveresca Fort is near city centre in the commune of Senigallia, located in Ancona province of Marche region, in central Italy. The fort was constructed in 15th century by the duke Giovanni della Rovere, is symbolic monument of the city, constructed with bricks. The fort still stands tall in perfect condition, is a splendid example of military architecture of Renaissance period.

(Translated by Google) Palazzo del Duca in Senigallia, historic building in the center of a tourist attraction, pedestrian area, in my opinion the latest renovation was clumsy, hosts several exhibitions in recent days including one of the most important one dedicated to the local photographer maestro Giacomelli. It is accessed via two flights of stairs on the upper floor there are several rooms, the main one with a beautiful decorated wooden box ceiling. Also on the first floor there is the ticket office and a large counter where the brochures of the various artists who are exhibited in the rooms are on sale. The square of the same name which, in addition to various restaurants, hosts the Christmas market for these Christmas holidays, very beautiful and with a playground for children, too bad the north wind, I recommend visiting Paid parking in Piazza Simoncelli and along the Portici Ercolani until 7.30 pm, free after and on holidays.

(Translated by Google) The Ercolani Porticoes are one of the urban planning elements that most characterize the city. Their name recalls Monsignor Giuseppe Ercolani (1677-1759) who designed them in the mid-eighteenth century by will of Pope Benedict XIV, born Prospero Lambertini, with the aim of annually hosting the famous ever-expanding Fiera Franca. The Portici Ercolani, one hundred and twenty-six arches in Istrian stone, run along the right bank of the Misa river. Originally they should have also been built on the opposite side of the river, but the crisis of the fair, due to the loss of tax benefits, had the effect of blocking new constructions and slowing down the completion of the ongoing construction sites. Today, under the Portici Ercolani, it is possible to relive and breathe the atmosphere of the golden years of the fair every Thursday morning for the weekly market.

Uliassi is a renowned restaurant located in Senigallia, offering inventive seafood tasting menus and a selection of fine wines. Overlooking the beach, the dining room and terrace provide a slick setting for guests to enjoy their meal. The restaurant is led by Mauro Uliassi, who is known for his creative approach to cuisine. The menu features dishes that highlight the intensity of flavors while paying homage to the local area.
Incredible experience. Never ending dishes just keep coming from the kitchen and wonderful staff. One from our party wasn’t a fan of fish and they quickly realized she wouldn’t have enjoyed some dishes and brought out dishes she would enjoy. Not expected and just over the top service. Sei grande Chef Mauro!

The seafood here is phenomenal. The red shrimp and the sole are highlights of the meal for me. Wine list is great. Service is attentive and personable. The restaurant is right on the beach, so there is plenty of people watching to do. I don't know if there is a perfect moment but savoring these delicious seafood bites, sipping some fine Italian bubbles, and having the Mediterranean breeze gently caressing your face come pretty close.

Incredible. Absolutely incredible. It is rated as one of the best restaurants in the world, with 3 Michelin Stars, and it absolutely deserves that reputation. Obviously the food was out of this world. But the staff were super friendly, and we were even given a tour of the kitchen by Mauro himself, which was an incredible honour.

The food was exceptional, but what really stood out was the wine list, extensive, expertly curated, and capable of satisfying even the most discerning wine lovers. The sommelier’s pairings were spot-on, enhancing every course. A must-visit for anyone who values world-class cuisine and an outstanding wine program.

One of the best dining experiences I have ever had. We had a 4-hour lunch with beautiful views of the water from our table. The restaurant was airy and full of light. The food was delectable. We did both of the tasting menus that they offered so it was nice to try a little bit of everything. The presentation of each dish was gorgeous and the flavors of each subsequent dish was different from the next. Service was amazing. Very memorable experience and cannot wait to go back one day soon!

Extraordinary. You eat mainly fish, but you can't call it "fish restaurant". Recipes are creative and impossible to describe: do not make a choice, trust the chef. The quality and the creativeness of the food deserve all possible stars. The location is not impressive on its own, but pleasant and appropriate for a nice experience. The staff is young, but well trained and full of enthusiasm.
Paolopolimi P — Google review
Highly recommended. We had a great experience with their tasting menu. The menu dishes had a good flow. The flavors were excellently balanced. The dishes, surprisingly, had layers of flavor and ingredients. This is in direct contrast to what you expect from ‘minimal ingredients’ Italian cuisine. Yet it does not take away from the experience, but rather lends to it. The wines were well paired. We opted for the local (regional) wine pairing and it was a great choice. We discovered some local wines which are made from rare grapes that were almost lost! The ambiance was what you expect: comfortable, easy yet sophisticated, and a healthy sea breeze. One minor nag is that the service was not as jovial as can be expected in such a place. The staff were not as excited about their own dishes as they should have been.

Always a pleasure to dine at this truly innovative and unique restaurant. I have frequented this establishment prior to its 3 star Michelin rating and it has only improved but not changed in its concept. Catia is the most gracious hostess and the young staff shows a trust and an investment in the future. I always appreciate the limited number of tables, which creates an intimate atmosphere and that my seating request was respected. Absolutely delicious and super creative. Complimenti

Nana Piccolo Bistrò is a vibrant and contemporary restaurant in Senigallia, offering a modern culinary experience with a clear passion for Spanish flavors. What a delightful experience at Petit Bistro Nana! From the moment I arrived, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. The service was absolutely outstanding – a special shoutout to Agnes, who went above and beyond by organizing lemon chips just for me. Such a thoughtful and caring gesture that made the evening even more special! The dishes were creative, beautifully presented, and full of flavor – every bite was a little surprise. The sangria was refreshing and perfectly balanced, and the whole place had such a cozy yet stylish vibe. This restaurant is a true hidden treasure . Five stars from me – for the food, the people, the atmosphere, and the wonderful service. I’ll definitely be back!

Had a nice family gathering here and was impressed by the quality of their dishes and the attentive service. In the winter, the setting is limited to a few seatings inside and you should book in advance, they can set a bigger table on their informal "alimentari" next door so you can enjoy the entire place with your guests. The menù is always changing and I was impressed by the "passatelli" and the "tortilla di patate", both rich plates but well balanced. Desserts were well executed, try their "boeros" and the "strudel di mele e mele". Blanca was our server and we were really pleased, especially the way she handled kids. I'll definitely come back next time in town to try their meat dishes.

Outstanding service, amazing food, chic atmosphere. When arriving at Nana you can tell right away that it's different from any other place in the area. It's like going to a very cool and hip foodie bistro of a big city. The staff is fast and attentive to the customer, up to standard with the staff you'd find in a Michelin starred restaurant. Wine choice is excellent and in particular the bottle we savoured was very enjoyable. They serve tapas-style dishes, but in very generous portions, definitely made so that if you want to try a few different dishes with your friends none would end up hungry. While waiting for your meal you'll be welcomed with a quick apetizer of vermouth-flavoured olives, but don't worry you won't wait long for your food.10 stars to our lovely server, Blanca, who remembered I am vegetarian and asked the kitchen for something especially for us. The kitchen responded with the impromptu veggie version of their "home made focaccina with Spanish jamón", with aubergines and pesto instead of the cold cut, hairloom tomatoes with cured basil leaves, vegetable soup with courgette-flowers, and a sort of revised "pappa al pomodoro" (chunky Tuscan-style tomato soup) with olives and basil. My so also got some prosciutto iberico and pan con tomate. For dessert we shared a grapefruit sorbet swimming on a slightly bitter liqueur that perfectly balanced out the sweetness of the sorbet. I wouldn't be surprised if this wonderful hidden pearl will soon get its first star.

The service is great, our waitress was very nice, explaining all the menu in details and she did her best to meet all our food requirements. This was the absolute best meal of our 2 weeks across Umbria and Le Marches. Amazing natural wine card to start with. They do their own sangria which was delicious. Menu focused mostly on fish, we had raw shrimp in a gaspacho and burrata. The octopus was also well done. The service was flawless and the atmosphere was very European. The type of restaurant we would go over and over.

Nestled in a charming alleyway in the heart of the city, Trattoria Vino e Cibo embodies the quintessential trattoria experience. With its simple yet inviting decor and laid-back vibe, this eatery features a menu that is as dynamic as it is delicious, displayed on an easel that roams around the room. The focus here is on fresh local seafood—think mackerel, skate, and clams—all sourced from nearby waters.
I never thought I would leave a review for a quaint a little restaurant like this but our random stop to get something to eat in this place was One of our best experiences in Italy. The proprietors were engaging, interesting, and authentic. They are not only restaurant owners but also the farmers who grow the grains and grapes that are served in this incredible establishment. Their agricultural operation is 100% organic and the strain of wheat that they use is an ancient strain that is virtually gluten-free. The gnocchi, salads, and the zucchini fusilli were incredible. Do not come to Verucchio without stopping at Trattoria Vino e Cibo!

We discovered this trattoria a year ago and finally me managed to get a table. The place is very small and has a handwritten menu. It is always a good sign when the menu is small. We chose some antipasti to share then primi (pasta) for each of us and 2 secondi again to share and were totally amazed by the quality. Each dish was fantastic and we can highly recommend Vino e Cibo.

This is one of the best fish trattoria I tried. The trattoria is managed by the sister for the service and the brother for the kitchen. They are both excellent, motivated, passionate and so kind. It is a real pleasure to spend a moment here, I strongly advice to every fish lover.
Kirlo90 — Google review
Tried this place for a family lunch and I can confirm it is worth the hype. The setting is super informal but well thought - a perfect example how a "trattoria" should look like - there are very few tables during the winter time making the entire experience really intimate (I would recommend making a reservation because of that). Decided to try as many of the dishes available and didn't left disappointed. The "seppie a tagliatella" is a must try, especially for the way the squid is cut. Also, if you like that fish, try the "seppioline con crema di patate" a simple but perfect combination. The main "tagliolini" was also great in taste as was the "razza with cicoria". All dishes tasted fresh and well balanced. The only downside was the "Pane and sgombro" that is served cold, I was expecting a warm appetizer but I've learned later that this wasn't the case. The wine selection is good and the desserts proposed were au pair with the rest. They even made the "moretta" coffee for us. On a side note, we had two kids at the table and the server, also the co-owner of the place, had no issues making them comfortable. I will certainly come back here for dinner next time in town.
Alessandro F — Google review
I would like to share an unfortunately unpleasant experience that I had upon arriving at this place. Even though the venue advertised itself as open online, I was treated very rudely and asked to leave right after entering. The staff was unwelcoming and completely unfriendly, which ruined my entire impression of this spot. Such treatment of guests is absolutely unacceptable. I do not recommend this place – it’s better to avoid such “surprises” and find a more welcoming venue.

Having said this one also should thank to the kitchen personal for their artworks with food. I had a wonderful meal at Tajamare Osteria di Mare, a seafood restaurant known for its exceptional dishes. The off-menu pasta I ordered, cappellaci with squid ink and shrimp in a red sauce with burrata, was absolutely delicious and served in a generous portion. The fritto misto was also tasty, not greasy at all, and came in a substantial size. This is definitely a place I would recommend trying again!
