Nestled in the heart of Leamington Spa, Jephson Gardens is a delightful Victorian oasis that captivates visitors with its exotic tropical plants, serene lake, and stunning sculptures. Once a retreat for the affluent, this picturesque garden features meticulously landscaped formal areas alongside expansive green spaces perfect for leisurely strolls. The gardens are alive with vibrant floral displays and charming cafes like The Aviary Kiosk, where you can savor refreshments while soaking in the beauty around you.
Lovely place having an activity foe everyone. You can walk along dozens types of trees, have a kayaking of a pedalling boat across the river, stop for memorable picture between colorful flowers or have a coffee / ice cream with a view. Recommended

Award winning Victorian Gardens, plus a coffee shop, sensory garden, a hothouse and events restaurant, a lake, monuments,a boating lake, ancient trees. Changing colourful flower beds . So picturesque. Art in the Park exhibition etc. Years ago the very lovely Victorian gardens used to hold a fantastic light-show. Thousands of people used travel by coach to visit. This year a small laser light show and an exhibition in the Parish Church, marked the past exotic, extravaganza. Leamington Spa is a great place to visit. Over 200 restaurants and coffee shops. Voted friendliest place to live in England several times. I've lived here for nearly 40 years. And yes, it truly is an exciting place.

The Jephson family have been making the Royal family's underwear for over six hundred years. Each item is individually hand monogramed and every item is hand made by true underwear masters. It's said that Princess Margaret was the only member of the family not to wear the Jephson brand but this has been dismissed by those in the know as a rumour started by a rival to Jephson pants. Prince Edward is particularly fond of the Jephson boxer shorts and has dozens of pairs in multiple colours. The gardens were named after the family in recognition of their undercracker achievements in 2004.

Jephson Gardens is a beautifully maintained park in the heart of Leamington Spa. The gardens are full of colorful flowers, peaceful walkways, and lovely fountains, making it perfect for a relaxing stroll. The river views and glasshouse add extra charm to the setting. A calm and scenic spot that showcases the town’s natural beauty — simply delightful!

Such a beautiful park in the heart of Royal Leamington Spa. Well kept gardens with floral displays and gorgeous mature trees. Lovely lake with an array of water birds. To top it off there's a lovely cafe that has great coffee and nice nibbles. Plus, toilets nearby.

Lovely place well worth a visit. Clean tidy and beautiful disability and autism friendly, lovely gallery and glasshouse was nice. Sensory garden was a bit tired and needs work but will definitely visit again.

Great place for a picnic and a family day out. Lovely gardens with a fountain and also chance to ride on a boat along the river. A walking suspension bridge to access the play area and the boat hire place. Easy access to a car park too at Rossfield street.

Historic Sites
Warwick Castle is a renowned Medieval fortress with over 1,100 years of history, offering an array of interactive attractions and walk-through adventures. The castle features battlements, towers, turrets, and impressive interiors. Visitors can explore the Castle Dungeon dating back to 1345 for a thrilling 50-minute walkthrough experience with live actors and special effects. Additionally, there are captivating shows such as the birds of prey show and various activities within the castle grounds.
First time going, without a doubt the best castle I’ve been too and seen and I’ve seen many castles! So rich in history and well kept, amazing architecture structures and beautiful gardens that even a peacock roams freely! The kids loved the peacock and play area that is here too, really nice! Some of the best views from on top too, not one if your afraid of heights tho! Birds of prey a thing of beauty and good how low they fly over you so be prepared haha. Great too see how the catapult works too. All in all a fantastic day for adults and children alike. Be prepared to be bag checked on the way in along with metal detecters, our pushchair set this off lol. This is the only wait you will have. Pushchair and wheelchair friendly! All in, well done Warwick Castle! Will be visiting you again!
Jamie B — Google review
This was a late in the season visit. Not all the attractions and vendor stands were open. It did not spoil the visit. The best attraction was the falconry quest. The birds were amazing and the handlers ensured that everyone was buzzed by a bird. The barn owls was majestic and graceful. The peregrine falcon was fast and precise. When looking up at the condor as it flew over was awesome. At the end of the show I couldn't tell you what the birds were, but the sky was full. It was amazing, worth the 3 hour drive for this. The horrible histories maze was fun and informative. There are peacocks everywhere. Other wildlife in abundance squirrel's, Robin's and ducks. There are plenty of seating and concession stands. There are plenty of staff who are helpful. Yes there are a lot of areas accessible for wheelchair users but it is hilly in places.

The knights lodge was big enough for 3 of us nicely dressed with a modern bathroom- breakfast was good too - I'd recommend as a short stay. Castle speaks for itself don't miss the dungeon tour - absolutely brilliant my son is 8 and loved it best £6 pp I think iv ever spent
Matt B — Google review
My family and I had a great day at Warwick Castle. We spent all day there looking at all the different attractions. We really liked the dungeon experience. That was great and highly recommend that.
Craig S — Google review
Had a fantastic day with my dad. Birds of prey are fantastic! Really loved seeing them! Lots to see and do. Lot's of choice of food and drink. It's well worth the money. The car park has plenty of space. It's a good day out for the family or just going your own. The castle was really good! Something for everyone. 😁👍. Plenty of toliets. Clean.
Ethan M — Google review
It's been many years since we last visited and there are so many improvements on what was already a really great day out. The birds of prey display was really very good and informative with the handler giving a great display. The inside of the living quarters are one of the best we've ever visited. The addition of the servants area with very real life mannequins and displays is exceptional. One let down is the food on offer, difficult to get gf food especially
Ian C — Google review
me and my family of 7 went there for the christmas light trail and it was very good and we enjoyed it but the beginning was a bit slow but once tickets got scanned was good !
Rae-leigh F — Google review
The best castle I have ever visited. So much to look at and enjoy. The main hall and upstairs rooms. The king's rooms, towers, goals, gardens, high spots, low spots, cafes, gift shops, gardens, a water mill house. My personal favourite was the dungeon. You do have to pay an extra fiver, but its sooooo worth it. Live actors, brilliant theme rooms, really scary and realistic. I booked my tickets in advance online and saved money. I wouldn't recommend visiting for anyone who isn't able bodied or with very young children, as there are a lot of spiral staircases, uneven steps and pushchairs aren't allowed in many parts of the building. Parking was £7 for the day to park on the castle grounds.

Pub
Nestled on Clarendon Avenue in Leamington, The Fox and Vivian is a charming traditional pub that has earned a stellar reputation for its delectable food and inviting atmosphere. This beloved eatery boasts an impressive menu featuring mouthwatering burgers, including options like steak with melted cheddar or blue cheese paired with field mushrooms. Known for its succulent ribs, wings, and perfectly cooked steaks, it’s no wonder this spot draws in crowds—reservations are highly recommended to ensure you don’t miss out!
We came for Sunday lunch yesterday and was hugely impressed. The quality and taste was fantastic. What I also liked was the fact you didn't have to pay for extras, it was one set price. Will definitely be coming back. We had the lamb and there was plenty of it :-)
Rachel G — Google review
Visited the fox and Vivian over the weekend for what the locals say is the best steak restaurant around. So I was excited to see what it was all about, firstly no starters?! Kinda weird concept not to really have any dedicated starters but oh well. I ordered a 12oz NY strip steak or also known as a sirloin or porterhouse steak. Ordered with side of Parmesan and truffle fries and chimichurri. Steaks come with tender steam and mushroom, but also ordered some popcorn shrimp as a side and others also ordered prawns and onion rings which I also tried. Overview, really well cooked steak, mid rare very nice sear across the steak, but not rested long enough for my liking if I’m being picky, also overall the flavour profile was pretty bland and not much depth to steak, probably wasn’t prepped correctly for maximum flavour / resting for correct period. But it certainly was not worst steak I’ve had, very good cut of meat, quality produce. The fries were ok nothing to shout about, and sadly the veg on the plate was stone cold and bland also. The sides were decent, popcorn shrimp tasty and fried perfectly, homemade style onion rings with plenty of flavour too, and king prawns were very nice juicy and flavourful. I ordered chimichurri sauce, again sadly pretty bland lacked acidity and punch. Plenty of pros - quality produce, good selection of meats, competitive menu and edgy atmosphere. Would like to come back to retry it again and give a review update as I’m sure they are better than what i experienced on this visit. Overall rating 7/10.

I love the Fox and Vivian - in fact I sometimes think it's underrated in Leamington. Great food, good beer, nice decoration and ambiance, and well trained staff. What's not to like? Maybe the prices are a tad high, but with every other food outlet in town pushing prices up, it has actually become average priced recently. Not to be missed: the 2-for-1 burger Mondays in August - which we hope the owner will keep for the whole year round! (I'd be seen there a lot more often if he does that!)

Unbelievable good steak.Had the £69.50 steak with peppercorn sauce. Can be shared but I didn't. Perfectly cooked.busy for a Tuesday night and service was great. Highly recommend.

Great experience 100% recommend! We booked a table to watch the football and they gave us a perfect one. We enjoyed the game with delicious buffalo wings and a full track of bbq ribs. Top staff!

The best steak I have ever had. Brilliantly friendly and attentive staff. Great atmosphere. Can probably get cheaper steaks elsewhere but they won’t taste anywhere near as good! Amazing
Andrew P — Google review
We came here for an early dinner. Quickly browsed the menu online and decided it looked good. The staff were lovely, very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious, we had the salt and pepper squid, popcorn shrimp for starters which were really hot and full of flavour. I had the wagyu beef burger for main and my wife had the Korean buttermilk chicken burger. Both were outstanding. Can't fault the place, proper sized portions as well and very good value for money and quality. Would definitely recommend. There is parking around the corner which is very helpful.

Amazing Turkish restaurant in leamington!! The staff are absolutely lovely and the food is incredible, would highly recommend! I had the moussaka which was incredible and my friend had a steak which she said was the best steak she ever had. Can’t wait to come back here to try something else off the menu!

Excellent Turkish restaurant which I was surprised to find in Leamington Spa. 3 course meal that did not disappoint. The service was excellent with quality food served

Two of us arrived around 13:30. Waitress was friendly to start with. She sat us down and placed our food and drink very promptly. Drinks took a little while but the lemonade and coffee was lovely, we asked for a bottle of tap water but she didn't bring one. We assumed she'd bring it out later as her tray was full. Food arrived, my partner was missing a portion of chips and again no water, we kindly reminded her. She said she'll bring it out That was the last time we saw her throughout or meal. My food was fine, but my partner's prawns were quite overcooked. The table behind us were complaining about their prawns too, maybe the chef was new? We wanted to send them back but as she didn't return we couldn't really do so without carrying the plate into the bar. After waiting we got fed up and decided to head to the bar to pay. She noticed us getting up tried to offer us some dessert but we made it clear we just wanted to pay and leave. We paid for what we ate and she did take the prawns off the bill but this was a real let down. We came here a few years ago I remember the food and service being exceptional.

GORGEOUS food and plentiful portions, absolutely delicious and really attentive staff, although could maybe notice when a glass is empty for us to order more drinks. Only down side was we were sat in essentially the walk way to the garden so it was very busy with people walking passed what is quite a narrow space, so people with bags or possible a bit of a wider stature might be at risk of brushing the table with food / drinks etc.
M R — Google review
Had lunch in the lovely back patio. Got a wonderful recommendation that was delicious and a perfect amount of food. My main was rice, chicken on skewers, dip, and salad. Everything was fresh and tasty. The chicken was particularly well cooked. Definitely planning to try more from the menu!

Been here several times since my initial review and love it each time. They do a lunch menu, two course at £16.95 and never fails to disappoint. Love this place. Come and support them I'm sure you'll love it too... Delicious. We went here on the off chance they had a table and on a friend's recommendation and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the staff very attentive and we will certainly be returning again soon. Can highly recommend

Restaurant
Zizzi - Leamington Spa is an Italian chain restaurant known for its delicious pizzas, calzones, and traditional pastas served on wooden boards. The atmosphere is pleasant and suitable for groups, offering a clean environment. While the service could be improved, the vegetarian options are clearly marked. Parking can be found in nearby multistorey lots or on adjacent streets as there is no parking at the venue.
The food at Zizzi is always amazing. Kora, our server, was so helpful, attentive and lovely and assisted my parents with their order. Nothing was too much trouble. food arrived in a timely manner and was delicious. The atmosphere was nice apart from the door kept being held open by people waiting and it was freezing.
Claire — Google review
Food is really nice here. However, be mindful that when it’s busy the wait times for the food can be very long as we waited around 40 mins for the food. Also, staff are difficult to get hold of so the entire experience takes longer than it should.

The environment was very lovely, speakers were at an appropriate level. The food was great and the service even better, big shoutout to Sue ❤️

We Met up with my Mum and partner here today (20th November) for my birthday and we had an excellent experience, everyone enjoyed their food as a party of 4 and the waiter was an absolute asset to the place. Service was excellent, the food was served in good time and the place was lovely and clean with a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend and thank you for the free glass of Prosecco for my Birthday, that was a lovely touch.

Kora was absolutely fantastic with my little girl. She went the extra mile. She introduced her to the chef, checked in often, chatted to her and was just generally lovely Thank you x

We had a really lovely experience at Zizzi Leamington, and I want to give a special mention to Kora for her excellent service. From the moment we arrived, she was welcoming, friendly, and made us feel genuinely looked after. Nothing was too much trouble — she checked in at the right moments, and kept everything running smoothly without ever feeling rushed. It really makes a difference when someone clearly enjoys what they do and takes pride in giving great service. Thanks again, Kora, for making our visit such a positive one — we’ll definitely be back!

The food here is absolutely delicious, and it’s great to watch the chefs in action through the open kitchen, you can really see the care that goes into every dish. Nick, our waiter, was fantastic - always smiling, incredibly helpful, and very knowledgeable about the menu. He made our experience truly special. Kornelia also provided great service, and it’s clear that the entire team works hard to make every guest feel welcome. Highly recommended!

Pub
The Drawing Board in Leamington Spa is a creatively decorated hangout adorned with vintage comic books. It offers a menu of pub fare and tapas, along with an assortment of beer, whisky, and wine. This artsy spot has garnered positive reviews for its food and ambiance, making it a popular choice among locals and visitors alike.
Wow! I was absolutely blown away by this place. My friend is gluten free and we were looking for places to accommodate her. I had never heard of this place as I usually only go to the parade in Leamington. The atmosphere here was so relaxed and lovely. It was nice to see the owner working and he gave me good recommendations on the beers available. The food was amazing and I found it to be such high quality for the price we payed. The only thing I would suggest to the owner is to perhaps lower the price for the gluten free bread as the soup comes with bread for free for non gluten customers. Other than that I enjoyed myself and would definitely recommend people to visit, you can easily see the heart and soul that has been put into the place.

6 of us went for Sunday lunch. We spilt between roasts and tapas. Everything was spot on. My favourite Tapas was the sticky chicken and the corn ribs. The roasts were very generous with good quality meat. The only blip was the cauliflower cheese that wasn’t cheesy enough. Very good bloody Mary.
Mark D — Google review
Great pub with a unique vibe, comic book covers on the walls with a relaxed living room feel. Food was also great. Quality sausages, and the chicken ciabatta also very good. Virgin bloody Mary was excellent with just the right amount of spice.
Luke M — Google review
Fabulous decor (think skateboard toilet roll holders in the bathroom, ZX Spectrum and Commodore computer keyboards wall art, comic book racks etc), excellent and knowledgeable service (about the food and wine), and brilliant food. I popped in for lunch with my sister in law, and we had the best time ever. We chose from a really good range of tapas dishes (although could quite easily have had any of the other starters / main course dishes on offer). The fried olives and cabbage were something else! And the portions were incredibly generous. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend!
Natasha C — Google review
Absolutely delightful place. Delicious food and great staff! Would highly recommend. They have a separate gluten free menu and plenty of veggie options! Also the loo is decorated amazingly
Gemma T — Google review
Incredible find, the staff were absolutely amazing and food top notch. My burger was delicious and my partners fish, chips and (absolutely insanely good) mushy peas was excellent. Add in the best soundtrack (you don't often get Sea Power and Kraftwerk together in an evening except my own house) and the geeky comic book and sci-fi decor you have yourself an amazing place
Paul B — Google review
Had a really good meal here the other night. The food was spot on and came out nice and hot. The staff were great — Belle in particular was so friendly and on the ball the whole time. The place was pretty loud, but that’s expected on a Friday night, everyone seemed to be having a good time. Service was quick, and we didn’t have to wait long for anything. Overall, just a proper good night out — good food, nice people, and a lively atmosphere. Would happily go again.

Loved the Drawing board. Food was brilliant, staff were fun and very accommodating. We were 14 eating and drinking and very well looked after. They even helped me with a surprise treasure hunt in the pub. Only thing... and will 100% sound like a snob but screw top red wines for 30 odd quid was a bit much. Did find a lovely French Pinot Noir. Would recommend.

Hidden gem in Leamington! I visited this place on a Tuesday night (when you have the fixed menu' of 3 courses at 26 £) and it was fantastic. The food is delicious and the atmosphere magic. Excellent value for money!

This is a lovely restaurant. Great cooking, charming service, old school tables with flowers and linen; all create a cosy and stylish atmosphere. Phillipe and Pascal combine great service with authentic French dishes - a match made in heaven!
Janet — Google review
My partner and I attend for our anniversary, I say with confidence this is the best restaurant I've ever been to! The food quality was authentic and on par with what we'd had in France, the atmosphere was lovely and intimate, and the service was exceptional! We spilt our wine and both waiters helped us move tables with no fuss and even shared a small laugh with us about it, turning an easily embarrassing moment into a great one. Great value for money, indulgent portion sizes, it was so good, we were rushing to end the meal in order to tip them! We'll be returning soon ;)

Got served sliced baguette, butter, olives, and saucisson as we sat down. We had rump and ribeye steak. The steaks, fries and salad was all incredibly well made and had wonderful portions. We were served promptly, despite a busy Friday night. The tables are quite close to each other but it does add to an intimate atmosphere. I would love to go again and bring guests.
Fiona J — Google review
Just superb! From entering the restaurant to paying the bill, this was a glorious experience. We went for a date night on a Saturday night. We pre-booked which is recommended as the restaurant is very intimate. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and respect of allergies and the selection on the menu was brilliant. I had the sirloin steak from Aubrey Allen, and my partner had the pork. The French cheese board to finish was very special, too. Well he back.
Graham T — Google review
Beautiful authentic restaurant. Excellent food and service. Quirky and highly recommend. Recommend the fillet mignon which was beautiful
Matt B — Google review
It was a lovely dinner. We came for the set menu on a Tuesday. They were very accommodating before we arrived, changing items for allergies. Would be 5* but service during the night was hectic. Steak came over cooked and was changed very quickly after a disagreement, however they did not ask us how we wanted it cooked before hand. Which I think is a real shame because it would have made the experience much better and less wasteful on the food. Would definitely come again! Just better communication on the night.
James S — Google review
As you sit down, you are given complimentary baguettes, which go really well with the soup and mussels. The starters were both great; definitely no complaints. The steaks, which were the stars of the menu, were amazing. I ordered a fillet steak, which was cooked perfectly (it's really hard to cook it any other way). Personally, the steak didn't need any sauce; it was that good! The peppercorn sauce was better with the fries. My only complaint was the atmosphere; a waitress just awkwardly stands in the corner, all grumpy. Apart from that, I highly recommend it!
