Park
Parco Castello is a picturesque park located between Milan and Varese, offering a serene escape into nature within the city. The sizable park features a small lake, shaded areas, walking tracks, and a skate ramp for outdoor enthusiasts. Visitors can enjoy the scenic surroundings while observing various wildlife such as turtles basking in the sun, ducks swimming in the pond, and squirrels roaming around.
Very beautiful park with alot of squirrels and ducks
Ahmed H — Google review
I visited this park on April 2024 and I have mixed feelings about it. Despite the surrounding nature and animal species living here are remarkable (there are squirrels, ducks, etc) the maintenance could be definitely improved. There were many benches and fences totally degraded and toilets and hygienic services extremely soiled. It is a shame have a gem like this not well managed as it could be a natural paradise on which relaxing, play with dogs and walking with your family!

What a beautiful park and location for everybody to enjoy. The pond and all the variety of birds were amazing, and it was such a peaceful, calming environment we loved it

Visit this place for the first time with my husband. It's really beautiful park. Heard from my husband when he was a kid they can swim in the lake, but now you can't as the water getting murky. But it's still beautiful park. Love the turtle bathing in the sun :)

Nice park. There was Squirrel, turle and goose, It's also sometimes crowded. The park is green and good for your lungs.

Nice Park lots of animals, ducks, sea turtles, and squirrels. Lots of green and picnic places.

The park is lovely on a good Spring day. Good for a walk or a picnic or a visit to the duck pond. Unfortunately there are limited facilities such as a children playground. There's a place to skate and a skateboard pipe. There's a small bar for refreshments.

Originally accompanied by the church of San Giorgio, it has served various purposes over time and is currently utilized as a farm. While some visitors appreciate its design and cleanliness, others feel that its interior could be improved. The castle is situated near a pleasant park and is often host to intriguing events.

No maintenance and services here. Having a place like this not cured it is really a shame. The castle itself is nice but it is almost abandoned.

The Monumento di Alberto da Giussano is situated just a few meters away from the Legnano station. Enrico Butti, a prolific artist known for both his public and private works, created this sculpture. The statue depicts a soldier holding a shield in his left hand and raising a sword in his right hand, symbolizing the victory achieved in the Battle of Legnano in 1176. The monument is lush with greenery and meticulously maintained to keep it in impeccable condition.

Nestled along the route from Legnano to Cangrate, Ristorante Pizzeria La Conchiglia is a charming Italian eatery that perfectly blends a relaxed atmosphere with delicious cuisine. Adorned with football memorabilia, including signed jerseys and photos of famous players, this restaurant offers an inviting ambiance for families and friends alike. Diners rave about the exceptional seafood dishes and authentic Neapolitan pizza, making it a must-visit spot for food lovers.
The food (we had 2 kinds of seafood pasta) was so good that is almost feels unfair to other foods... The stuff was very cordial and friendly. They even made a heart shaped margerita for our little one :). Grazie!

In general the food is delicious, very busy. Best make booking before coming. Their tiramisu is the best ive had so far.
Marcus L — Google review
I went there without a reservation., i was found that there were many customers. Because it's dinner time, so it takes up to 20-30 minutes to wait. When i get a table, it won't be disappointed with the taste of the food, fresh shellfish and no fishy smell. Although the spaghetti was a bit hard for me. The waiters are friendly. And i really like the footballers' shirts and the photos of the "VIPs" stand out on the walls.
Powerpat_Nik S — Google review
The best restaurant I ate at during my trip to italy! The food was excellent, came in big portions and the price was fair! The service is also very attentive. In my opinion, the penne alla boscaiola and the tiramisu are a must try!

Restaurant
On August 18, 2023, our reservation at Ristorante l'Altra Botte was denied because we were accompanied by our well-behaved furry friend of medium-small size. Despite the law allowing us to bring our dog, we always inform the restaurant in advance to avoid any unpleasant situations. This restaurant offers fantastic food of exceptional quality, particularly their fresh fish dishes which have a unique twist on traditional recipes.
We went to celebrate a birthday and I was first impressed by the service. Rosalyn was very attentive and she even suggested some dishes for myself as a vegetarian. I was impressed by the starter which was a potato pie with artichokes and pecorino cheese. The main was a tagliattele pasta with Thyme and was very tasty too. The dessert was a lemon pastiera which was very light and full of flavour. The atmosphere was elegant and I could tell the waiters knew what they were doing, providing good suggestions and attentive to the needs of the diner. We will definitely returning to the lovely restaurant in the near future.
Jay L — Google review
If you ever find yourself near Gallarate and consider yourself a seafood lover, stop everything and make a reservation at l’Altra Botte. This isn’t just a meal – it’s a journey into the heart of Italian culinary excellence. 🐟 The Freshest Seafood Tower I've Ever Had From the moment the stunning seafood platter landed on the table, I knew I was in for a treat. A breathtaking tower of crudo (raw delicacies) served on scallop shells – each piece so fresh, it felt like it had just jumped out of the ocean and onto my plate. Salmon, tuna, shrimp, scallops, sea urchin, and more – every bite melted in my mouth with sweet, oceanic flavor. The gold-flecked oyster shell was a nice luxurious touch – almost too pretty to eat… almost 😉 🍷 Wine That Matches the Vibe To accompany the seafood feast, we chose a bottle of Funtanaliras Vermentino di Gallura DOCG Oro – a premium white wine from Sardinia. It had elegant floral notes, crisp minerality, and a smooth finish that made it a perfect match for raw seafood. Not to mention the label and bottle design were so classy, I couldn’t help but admire it between sips. It’s labeled as an Exclusive Restaurant Edition, and it truly lives up to that name. 🍽️ The Antipasti – A Symphony of Flavors Before the main course even began, the table was filled with a creative selection of antipasti. Octopus, squid, smoked salmon, polenta bites, whipped seafood mousse, grilled vegetables – each dish thoughtfully plated and bursting with flavor. The textures, seasoning, and presentation showed the chef’s attention to detail and passion for his craft. 🍰 Dessert Heaven And just when I thought it couldn’t get better… a silver platter of exquisite mini desserts arrived under a glass dome like a treasure chest. It felt like choosing a piece of edible art. I picked a dark chocolate delight – soft, rich, and perfectly balanced in sweetness, plated with delicate chocolate drizzle. 🦞 Seafood Display Like an Aquarium On the way out, we passed by a display case of live lobsters and fresh fish on ice, proudly showcased like jewels of the sea. The restaurant clearly takes pride in its ingredients – and it shows. 🏛️ Atmosphere & Ambiance The restaurant itself is sleek and modern with elegant lighting, and the exterior glows like a gem on the corner of the street – warm, inviting, and buzzing with culinary energy. It’s the kind of place where you could celebrate a special occasion or simply indulge in an unforgettable dinner. ⭐ Final Verdict: 10/10 l’Altra Botte delivers everything I love about fine Italian dining: extraordinary seafood, impeccable wine, artistic desserts, and a stylish, welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a foodie, a wine lover, or just someone looking to spoil your tastebuds, this place will exceed all expectations. I'll be dreaming about that seafood tower and Vermentino pairing for a long, long time. Bravo to the team at l'Altra Botte 👏
Jun-Seok P — Google review
The place is very good and specializes in seafood. If not fan of seafood , go elsewhere. They offer other type of meat but seafood is their specialty. The seafood platter (for sharing) is a great start and big enough for up to 3 people. Fish of the day is always a good option. Prices are a bit on a higher side but you expect this for fresh seafood.

Italian restaurant
Nestled in a quiet residential area of Legnano, Pizzeria Montegrigna | Tric Trac may not catch your eye from the street, but step inside and you'll find a charmingly traditional decor that transports you back in time. The real star here is the innovative menu, featuring an array of unique doughs—from cornflour to basil-infused options—each thoughtfully paired with suggested toppings for an unforgettable culinary experience.
Excellent pizzas, spoiled for choice. Many innovative options with doughs made from whole wheat, alternative ingredients. Good wines and proper pastries for dessert. Hidden gem for sure!

This pizzeria is situated in a residential area of Legnano, outside the city center. The establishment is nearly invisible from the outside. The décor is traditional, and typical of a pizzeria that has remained the same over the years. The menu, instead, is very innovative and proposes many doughs of various types, from cornflour to a dough with basil, and many other variations. For the unique doughs, suggestions for topping pairings have been made (for which goes well with each dough). There is also a description of the dough, including how it is in its cooked (crunchy, tasty, delicate etc.)

I was told one of the best pizzeria in Italy. No jokes, this is the place for having THE PIZZA experience! Rare bio cereals, creative toppings, super high quality ingredients... all thanks to the amazing skills and passion of Bruno. I have still 115 pizze left to try, hope to live long enough and be often back to Legnano. God bless you Bruno !
Claudio S — Google review
Here you have to come to eat pizza and on this there are no discussions: the best ever. Great research into dough and combination of ingredients. Research and quality must be recognized and rewarded. There are also traditional pizzas at a classic price between 6 and 8 euros. But at Montegrigna it makes sense to come to experiment with new flavors. Everything else is contour: local dated, without sign, noisy but with tables not too close. Large and tidy bathrooms.
Andrea G — Google review
The owner is friendly and welcoming, the service is fast and the selection of the menu is generous. I ordered the simple mozzarella pizza with ham. Delicious and well cooked. I picked the place because it is also accessable if you're flying out of the country after, helps avoid the traffic jam. The only downside of this place is that you only have a menu in Italian - godbless google translate and my broken Italian.

Ristorante Lin Tasting Emotion is a delightful culinary destination that promises an exceptional dining experience. While some patrons have had mixed experiences with takeout, noting issues with certain dishes, many rave about the restaurant's inviting atmosphere and high-quality Japanese cuisine. The all-you-can-eat concept here stands out due to its superior freshness and flavor compared to other local sushi spots. Guests appreciate the attentive service from friendly staff who are dedicated to ensuring a pleasant visit.
You will get the advantages of an eat-as-much-as-you-like restaurant without giving up on the quality. Prices are slightly higher than other local sushi places in the area but there is a very good reason for it. Waiters are also pretty caring.

Decent spot for all you can eat sushi - the rolls were disappointing but the scallop carpaccio, the rolled salmon, the tuna gunken and the sashimi were quite good.
