Beautifull landscape! If you are a mountainin hiking friend, you should't miss this place. You can fibd good lokal food, deserts, drinks for big and small people😀. Please take into consideration that, the kitchen closes arround 15.00 and the last ride back to city is at 16:20.

My first time here, really love the view, definitely will come back again

Very beautiful views. Mountains all around, snowy peaks in the distance. Green valleys below. The cable car has two platforms where you can go out and walk. There is a small lake with clear blue water. Lots of restaurants. However, there are a lot of people on weekends, which creates some inconvenience. But at the top and on the middle platform there is a place for paragliders, you can enjoy the view of the start from the mountain. Very interesting. The price is 49 euros for the entire cable car. But you can buy a ticket to the second site. But I would advise buying for the entire cable car. Only from the very top you can see all the beauty.

Views are great! We were at the end of May and we got a thunderstorm, hail, short-term rain, sun, fog. It is better to arrive early so that you can wait out the weather changes in one of the cafes. Still there was a snow, so not all roads were achievable for hiking except the main on top.

Great place for skiing, snowboarding or just going for a trip

We bought Gondelbahn round rides to Gipfelstation. Up there we hiked up to Nebelhorn mountain peak and went down to lake ( which near to Gipfelstation). Very hot in summer but it’s worth. Nice panorama up there! With Family tickets is cheaper and parking lots costed around 4-5€

This is an incredible place to visit. The walk in the gorge where you can see how high the water has been and how it cuts into the walls. Look up for some giant boulders caught above the gorge

This is a fantastic gorge to be explored by everybody. The pathway is broad enough to have two big guys walk abreast. There are no stairs or steps until the exit, and it makes sense to transverse the gorge twice to see it from two sides. The entire path within the gorge is nicely surfaced with concrete and very sturdy so slips are unlikely. On weekends, thousands of people visit, so buying a ticket online is recommended.

Paid 4 euros for the parking and about 7 to go in. You can see the place is being taken care of for the entrance price and the small hike is beautiful. I do recommend doing it a bit early though (around 10 AM was perfect for us), because it can become quite crowded.

Breitachklamm is an absolutely stunning natural wonder and a must-visit for anyone who loves hiking or simply enjoying the outdoors. The walking trails through the gorge are well-maintained and offer incredible views of the rushing stream below. You can feel the power of the water as it cascades through the narrow rock walls, creating a dramatic and refreshing atmosphere. The area around the stream is peaceful and beautifully green, with plenty of spots to stop, take photos, or just admire the scenery. Whether you’re looking for a short, easy walk or a longer hike connecting to nearby trails, Breitachklamm offers a perfect blend of adventure and tranquility. Word of caution - Be careful in some of the rocky areas, as the ceilings can be low and it’s easy to bump your head. Good shoes and a bit of caution make the walk much more enjoyable! Tickets cost around €7.50 and can be purchased conveniently at the reception counter or online in advance.

Beautiful river and waterfalls, but… Definitely be aware it’s a super touristy place. If you’re going with a big dog: the paths are very small and there’s people turning around and going back. Also there’s a rather paw unfriendly stair with gauze you have to climb if you follow the red route. 😬 I didn’t really enjoy visiting this place because it was crowded, just too many people constantly, everywhere. The staff at the restaurant at the entrance were friendly and the food was good! Nonetheless, it’s definitely an unique place.

Highly recommend. One of the most beautiful and gorgeous Gorges you will ever see. If you do it when it’s rainy it’s even more majestic. Rain makes the waterfall and experience more magical. 10/10 must do.

Nice gorge to go for a walk. I recommend coming very early since it gets really busy during the day.(Didn't forget to check the opening hours). With the ticket you can walk the gorge in both directions. So you can exit the gorge at the top and continue along the river and come back later to go back to the parking lot. I highly recommend continuing after the gorge and visiting one of the Hintere Engere Alpe (mountain restaurant).

It was okay, not as clean as other alpen lakes. But it is a good hiking place.

Visited in February. Because of winter it was frozen. It is beautiful but it got merged into surrounding white mountains. I think it will look more beautiful in summer. Parked at Skischanze parking space. It was 7 euro per day.

Amazing view! Hike from the bottom is very steep and takes 3-4h. You could also take the gondola up and then hike another 1h to the top. The path is also pretty steep with lots of steps but the view is amazing. You have a 360° view at the top! There is also a restaurant halfway.

Having the oportunity to watch ski flying live here in Oberstdorf is simply priceless! And we had a chance to see top sportsmen competing in world championship. Magnificent experience witnessing distances going over 200m! Absolute advice to put it on your bucket list, if not there already ✅️

The view from the top is very nice. Cable car goes till 5:30pm in summer. Entrance ticket for the ride up and down isn't expensieve. From the top only 20 mon walk to the lake

30-60 min bike or hike trip from Oberstdorf along the riverside in the shade of the woods leading to that beautiful & stunning historic sports monument.

The park is free to enter from either down the hill or up the hill. For a fee you can go up or down via an elevator that takes you up hill or even all the way up the ramp. The building has a unique design and makes you wonder why any sane human being would want to fly off of that. Pretty impressive. Nice mountain views guaranteed and offers a hiking path to a picturesque lake.

A great place for cake lovers! They offer a wide variety of cakes—fresh and delicious. I tried a slice with a cappuccino, and both were amazing. The portion size was generous, definitely worth the visit.

We order todo different type of cakes and both were fresh, with the perfect amount of sweetness, different textures, fully recommended. But I don't give 5 stars because the place was packed and they simply did not have enough workers on the floor to cover properly al tables and customer. That can be improved.

First class Confiserie and coffee shop. Marvelous cakes, excellent coffee.

A great place to relax for a drink, a cake, and perhaps a snack. This place caters for personal preferences as to the ambience you are wanting to experience whilst consuming their great products. The only possibly negative thing was the price. A plate of biscuit delights is somewhat eye watering, albeit, very tasty. As are the cakes, and from what I could observe, larger meals were impressive. Recommended.

We were there with my family yesterday. My first impression was like a time journey to 90s due to its decoration which i loved. The food was very delicious, deserts like Creme Brulee and Kürbiskernparfait was exceptionally good. And the service was best-in-class in the region, very professional and friendly. So we hope to come back again in our next year's ski holiday.

My father and I went to this restaurant 2 days in a row. We enjoyed the lovely service of Leoni B. What a joy 😄. The food was really nice. The second time we went there, there was live music on a accordion, which gave you even more the feeling of being in Bavaria. Thank you also to the musician 🪗😃. We can recommend this place 😃.

Very traditional Algäuan family place, nice atmosphere. The service was extremely fast! From the moment I ordered till I got my plate in took like 4min! I ordered my favorite Bravarian dish, Spinat-Knödel, unfortunately the cheese sauce was not so good. Be sure to arrive early because the kitchen closes early as well. Delicious, Bavarian food, in a beautiful building with friendly staff - what more could you want? It was exactly the kinda place this tourist was looking for and I was not disappointed! Large portions and the meat just melted in your mouth! Would absolutely return again!

The Wilde Männle is a very traditional restaurant serving the best food and beer you can find here. We were seated indoors and had our order quickly taken. The food was delicious, mains and desserts, and the atmosphere really nice. The only downfall was the server. No checking on our meals half way through, and when we had finished, we sat there for 15 minutes with empty plates and glasses before anyone checked on us. No offer for another drink and we had to ask for desserts.

The reservation system is obviously a bit haphazard here. We had booked (along with many others), but there was a long queue and no tables were available outside. We ate inside as there was no indication of how long the wait would be for outside. Had an excellent steak, which was reasonably priced. Very popular establishment in one of the busiest parts of town.

One of the best places for typical Bavarian food in Oberstdorf. People typically come for dinner but you can also have Bavarian breakfast here. Try their specialties: the Krautkrapfen and Kaisersmarrn. This place is top in my recommended list for dining in Oberstdorf. They are often fully booked - so table reservation is recommended.

We had the Cheese Board and the Schwaben Pfanne for Dinner, both was fantastic and plenty! The waiters were very fast and professional, and friendly as well. They had a small traditional band playing in the beer garden, which was nice. Overall a great night, can recommend!

The food was delicious; the side dishes were also thought through, when you combine everything in your mouth, the result was satisfiying. Since you are here, I would recommend the deer. The service was very friendly. The dishes were expensive then usual but it was woth it.

The restaurant proposes regional food, and we focussed our choices on the game menu. The deer ragout and deer medallions were delicious, and so was the roe. The service was friendly, fast and efficient. One of the best food experiences in Obertsdorf.

Great food in a great atmosphere. The prices might seem a bit high, but the portions are generous and the quality is outstanding. Only German ingredients are used, so expect some unusual flavours - to be honest though, I've never had a better schnitzel than the one I had here!
