The comprehensive guided tour offered by Madonna di Campiglio atp showcased the well-preserved Catholic Church of San Vigilio. The apse frescoes were stunning, and the famous macabre dance on the outer wall drew much attention. Visitors in the area should make a point to visit this church, which is open every day from 4 pm to 6 pm during summer. Inside, informative leaflets are available for further explanation and exploration.
The dance of death Truly beautiful, if you get the right guide who are volunteering, it is even more informative. Stay in the garden/cemetary and gaze up at that beautiful 18 figure alfresco.

Church next to the main road. You can see fresco of the Dance macabre from the 16th century. Easy to visit after leaving ski lift.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful church frescoed by the Baschenis. The danse macabre is very suggestive which is found outside. There are car parks adjacent to the church and in this period 25/5 I had no difficulty finding a place. Unfortunately the church was closed and we were not lucky enough to enter and admire it internally. A good reason to return. (Original) Bellissima chiesa affrescata dai Baschenis. (Translated by Google) The Church of San Vigilio in Pinzolo (Trento) is famous for the fresco of the Danse Macabre on its south façade. Created by Simone II Baschenis in 1539, the work is a long frieze depicting Death (often crowned and on horseback) leading figures from all walks of life (from the Pope to the Emperor, from the peasant to the child) in an inescapable dance, a reminder of the transience of earthly life and the equality of all in the face of Death (memento mori). Other frescoes by Baschenis are also found inside the church.

It is always a pleasant experience to skate at the Palaghiaccio di Pinzolo ice skating rink, where children take their first steps on the ice. Occasionally, it can get crowded, especially on days when skiing is not possible. Private lessons and skate rentals are available onsite. The only downside is that the bar on the first floor is currently closed, leaving parents waiting on the cold grandstand. Despite this inconvenience, the rink remains open all year round for everyone to enjoy.

Monte Pora Ski School offers a fantastic opportunity for both beginners and those returning to skiing after years away from the slopes. With professional instructors like Maestro Paolo Taveggia, students receive not only technical guidance but also support in overcoming psychological barriers. The school is conveniently located right on the slopes, making it easy to meet instructors at various points along the main chairlift. Instructors such as Dario are known for their patience and friendliness, ensuring that every lesson is enjoyable and effective.

Ristorante Le Roi is a charming eatery in Madonna di Campiglio, offering a delightful dining experience with its robust Trentino specialties, wood-fired pizzas, and local wines. It's known for its excellent yet reasonably priced pizzas and delectable pasta dishes. The restaurant also boasts a lovely atmosphere that adds to the overall dining experience. For those seeking authentic Italian cuisine surrounded by stunning alpine beauty, Ristorante Le Roi is an ideal choice.
We visited Ristorante Le Roi during a ski trip, following a recommendation from our hotel—and we’re so glad we did! From the warm welcome to the very last sip of their homemade grappa, everything was exceptional. We started with a fantastic appetizer, followed by a perfectly prepared ossobuco for the main course, paired with a bottle of regional Merlot. To round it all off, the dessert was delightful, and the host treated us to a complimentary grappa to finish the meal. The whole experience was top-notch—great food, a cozy atmosphere, and incredible hospitality. We’ll happily come back again! Highly recommended!

Our hotel recommended this restaurant so we came (without much expectations) but it turned out to be surprisingly nice. We didn't reserve but the staff were welcoming, smiling and friendly. The waitress named Susanna took our orders and delivered the food faster than we thought as the restaurant was super busy with groups of sports people that evening. We enjoyed our dinner and Susanna was so friendly and sweet, I said she is very beautiful, her face is amazing !! (she said thanks to the Korean facial skin care...) Beautiful !!! Thanks Susanna for the tips :-)

The food and service at this lovely restaurant are second to none. The fillet steak with green pepper sauce was very nice. As was the calabrese pizza from the classic menu.

The people are extremely friendly, helpful and flexible. Arrived before they opened for dinner. They let us sit at the table and have a drink before the kitchen was ready. The food is excellent, the menu card has a good choice and the prices are fair. We stayed overnight at one of their apartments and all went very well. I can only recommend this place!

First we found the staff’s demeanor to be less welcoming than expected, which affected the overall atmosphere. The food was satisfactory, though it was priced on the higher side given the portion sizes. The desserts were completely disappointing.

Definetely 5 stars here! Good value for money. The portions are good and the service is also excellent. We enjoyed all the dishes we had form start to finish. The pizzas were really delicious and the Dow quite crunchy. Also very nice grilling of the steaks and the deer. For the deserts I recommend that you try the semi Fredo. Recommended when in Madonna di campiglio!

Chalet Spinale is a stylish and contemporary mountain cabin with an impressive variety of food and beverages. The establishment boasts well-organized indoor and outdoor spaces, which are very appealing. One pleasant surprise was the affordable prices of the dishes, as they were surprisingly lower compared to other chalets. Additionally, Chalet Spinale offers enjoyable entertainment on weekends, particularly on Saturdays and Sundays.
Was able to make a reservation a couple days in advance by walking in. While quite busy they were able to find us a time, while other places may have just turned us away. Glad they did because the sit down lunch was the best the mountain has to offer. I had the stinco which is one of my favorite northern Italian dishes and it was perfect. If you're looking for great views and an incredible meal, be sure to make a reservation here as it's small and gets booked up.

Szilárd S — Google review
🍴 Nestled at the top of the mountain, Chalet Spinale offers a breathtaking view and a unique dining experience. As a restaurant critic, I visited the place and tried their food and drinks. Here's what I have to say: 👍 The Pros: 😍 The view from the restaurant is simply stunning. It's worth taking the cable car just to witness it. 🍹 Chalet Spinale offers a good selection of cocktails, although they are mostly simple, they are well-made. 🍴 The food is delicious and well-presented. The ingredients are fresh and locally sourced. 👎 The Cons: 💰 The prices are quite high, but considering the location and the quality of food, it's understandable. 🚡 The only way to reach the restaurant is by cable car, which can be a bit daunting for some customers. 👨‍🍳 In summary, Chalet Spinale is a restaurant that provides a memorable experience. The stunning view, delicious food, and well-made cocktails make it worth the visit. However, it's important to keep in mind that prices are on the high side, and the restaurant can only be reached by cable car. If you're looking for a unique dining experience, Chalet Spinale is definitely worth checking out.

Amazing spot in Madonna di Campiglio. Staying overnight in one of the rooms is a wonderful experience: dinner and breakfast are great and included, staff is very accommodating and you have the mountain to yourself (we were the only guests that day) from when the lifts close in the afternoon until the following morning. If you are lucky you’ll get a beautiful sunset, a magical starry night and an amazing sunrise. I will definitely come back again.

Design/position wise, the best chalet in Madonna di Campiglio without any doubt so it’a worth for a pit stop while skiing. However, the restaurant and booking service is one of the worst I have ever seen in my life. For 2 years in a row, I sent an email early November to book a table over Christmas period…answer has been to call again early December. Well, you call in December (1st or 2nd) and they tell you that the place is fully booked. Unfair and not transparent at all…

Spectacular restaurant! It was a Michelin restaurant and you can see why! The food options are well combined, like carrot pie with gorgonzola cheese…. Or salmon salad, everything was amazing. Staff is super friendly, explained us every meal and assisted in our food journey! Restaurant itself is small, not many tables, so booking in advance is required as it was full from the first minute.

Truly the most sophisticated food in the area! Definitely recommend to try carpaccio, beef fillet, cheeks, and if you like Gorgonzola - pumpkin flan. Desserts here are not to my taste. We were pleased to get complimentary appetizers (Prosecco and a mini starter) and dessert wine. The service is good. However, the junger waiters fall behind their more experienced colleagues. We could easily get a table for two without reservation twice. But if you have more people, you better reserve a table as the place is popular.

We enjoyed the dinner here. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service fast and nice. Also the food was em very tasty and the portions also decent. The deserts could have some more sauce (eg strudel), but it’s totally fine. It is normal Italian cuisine with a bit of a twist. Price is ok as well.

Great service and food. Went last night with my fiancee for our anniversary. The waiters were absolutely amazing and accommodated our requests. To finish, a stunningly cooked beef fillet with foie gras and truffles. Definitely recommend.

Amazing welcoming, service and food. Try the radicchio risotto, the deer escalope, you will be surprised at how special they are! Ristorante Antico Focolare is a culinary gem located in Madonna di Campiglio, offering a wide array of regional and national dishes. Great service and a nice atmosphere, however, it seemed that non Italians were all seated downstairs. The food was hit and miss, some items like the cacio e pepe and tartare with crispy egg yolk were excellent while others were somewhat lackluster (spaghettone focolare). The steak (paid per 100g) was a bit of a letdown, considering the high price. At a minimum of 1,2kg (144€) about 1 third of it was not edible due to large bone chunks and gristle. Additionally, it is served on a hot plate which will quickly overcook the meat - something to note if you don't like your steak well done.

A vibrant spot in the heart of town, offering exceptional service and an extensive selection of food and wine. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are rather generous. We sampled the Carpaccio, which was good, the venison tagliatelle, which was truly outstanding, and the Pistachio and Burrata pizza, which unfortunately fell short of expectations. Despite this, we highly recommend a visit for the overall experience.

Antico Focolare was probably the best dinner I had during my stay in MDC. The appetizers of tartare and carpaccio were both amazing. The pastas they offer are not typical of the region which offered a nice change. The tagliatelle cacio e pepe over ragu was fantastic and my wife enjoyed an arrabiata style pasta. For secondi we shared steak and brasato. Everything was so good. Highly recommend.

We had here dinner on a Monday evening and everything was delicious. We took a hit of everything from the menu: pizzas, tartar, meat cuts, risotto, pasta, deserts. Everything was really tasty and served fresh and it was really delicious. The environment was really nice also and the staff very kind and polite.

As you’d see, one of the most popular spots in town, especially in the evenings… we went at lunchtime as it was quiet with everybody out on the slopes. Good selection of food, wine, good service, nothing to fault with this restaurant, has a slightly more fine dining feel than other places around yet affordably priced. I had a great time at Ristorante Magnabo. The staff was super friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The food was amazing! The service was excellent, and everything was perfect. Definitely coming back again!

Very nice reataurant in Pinzolo (Carisolo). Good optiona for the menu at fair prices, good quality of the food and service ok. Very nice the location, typical of mountain!! You can chose first dishes or one single dish with everything of good quality. Just a little note: the cake pear and chocolate was a little too high in the dough compared to the fulfillment.

🍴 Magnabo Snc Di Beltrami Adelio E C. is a cozy little restaurant tucked away by the river, offering a delicious homely cuisine. The parking area is convenient, but the location is a bit far from the city center. However, once you taste their food, the journey is totally worth it. 👍 The restaurant has several pros, such as: 🥩 Their meat dishes are excellent and cooked to perfection. 🍲 The food is tasty and has a homemade feel to it. 🅿️ The parking area is spacious and easily accessible. 👎 On the other hand, there are a few cons to consider: 🚗 The restaurant is located far from the city, which might be a hassle for some customers. 🍷 The drinks menu is limited, and there are only a few options available. Overall, Magnabo Snc Di Beltrami Adelio E C. is a great restaurant to visit if you're looking for a cozy and homely dining experience with delicious meat dishes. Although the location might be a bit far, the convenient parking area makes up for it. However, the limited drinks menu and lack of diversity in the food options might not appeal to everyone.

Stopped in on a hike just for a quick cheese and jam plate. Easily the best cheese I’ve ever had. Never had cheese feel like it was made fresh right out back. And none of it was mozzarella or burrata.

Very cozy restaurant with hearty homemade food. Everything is made from scratch and the overall atmosphere is very homey. A great place to dine in after a day on the slopes.
