Pub
The Airport Pub at Manchester Airport is a delightful spot for travelers seeking a casual dining experience before their flight. With its charming airplane-themed decor, this pub offers a relaxed atmosphere complemented by an inviting terrace and even a playground for families. Guests can enjoy great food and drinks while taking in the excitement of plane spotting from the beer garden. It's an ideal place to unwind, making it perfect for both adults and children alike as they prepare for their journey ahead.
Great garden for plane spotting 😂 Includes an adventure play park for kids. Decent selection of drinks. Didn't have any food so can't comment. Must pay for parking, which is understandable. Go early, spaces fill up quickly.

Alright, here we go — buckle up, because this meal was a turbulent experience. The burger… oh, the burger. Advertised with mayo, but when it arrived? Dry as a Ryanair apology. And that chicken fillet? Absolutely tiny. I’ve seen bigger fillets in a Happy Meal. Honestly, it looked like a hobbit had deep-fried its foot and stuck it in a bun. The mozzarella sticks were stringier than my nan’s Wi-Fi, and the tater tots? Yeah, they were good — but let’s face it, tater tots are just hash browns in witness protection. And the cherry on top? Paying for parking. Because nothing says “premium dining experience” quite like forking out for the privilege of eating disappointment while planes overhead remind you that someone, somewhere, is having a better time than you. Two stars: one for the tots, one for the sauce. The rest? Should be reported to air traffic control for crimes against taste buds.

We went to see the last of the Jet2 Boeing 757-200 aircraft leave. We stayed for lunch. Lovely atmosphere. Food was beautiful and plenty of it. Excellent service. We have been back again since and everything was just as enjoyable.

Great place to grab some food and watch the planes ✈️ coming into land, lots of out door seating available and nice views. Lovely inside with great friendly service from the staff.
Martin W — Google review
Depends on what you come to this place for, is it the interest of experiencing the planes at a very close distance or the food perhaps? For me it's a time to relax and just see the planes landing/taking off because let's face it who doesn't see a plane this close every day with the sunny weather and chilled drinks while you can just take a break from your day. The place is easy to get to, nice restaurant clean toilets, staff can be a little more happier I guess, but in general lovely little place. I travel 60miles round trip to come here

Amazing place to plane ✈️ watch. The beer garden is so close to the runway it’s hard to believe you are so close. The location is amazing, the food and service is not so good as just so busy and not enough staff. Also the car park is very limited and people were cueing to get into the car park.

One of my favourite places for breakfast! Great view of the planes taking off at Manchester (flight paths do change so sometimes they'll be taking off from the other end) Get there early and grab a window seat if you love to watch the planes over a full English! Lots of cool aviation themed booths to sit at and an outdoor bar/restaurant for those who love the smell of rocket fuel with their lunch (wink) Big play park in the beer garden and great view of the runway for the photographers and aviation geeks (*waves) Great staff, good standard food, fantastic view!

Quickly seated. Lots available My sons allergies were looked at straight away with a simple menu We ordered some small plates and food for the kids. All very tasty. Chicken tacos needed a teeny bit of salt. Food also came out really quickly. What impressed me most was the service. They were really on top of everything. Steve is a legend and totally deserves a pay rise. thanks again

Average but not the worse. Seated straight away, and was told you can order by qr code or table service and you can pay cash or card. And was told when seated there was a slight delay in the kitchen, but it was only 15 minutes after ordering our food. There is a sign before entering to indicate the average waiting time for food. Drinks were fine, hot chocolate was milky and coffee was strong. My food was slightly cold and my partners just warm. And my partner order the biscuit and white chocolate pancakes, but they came with no white chocolate sauce. Overall, not the best not the worst

After a 3 hour delay. Came here for some food and a drink. Service was brilliant. Rachel was so helpful and Marian brought the food so quickly. We ordered x4 small plates. Was hot, delicious and would recommend the soft tacos to anyone. Definitely would come again.
Pippa J — Google review
It was decent. I didn't see that the food had a sauce ranch sauce. I don't like sauce i think it's just a cheap way to disguise bad food. So i sent the food back. Nothing was a problem, they repeated the order without the sauce, and guess what?! THERE WAS NOTHING TO DISGUISE!!!!! It was super tasty! thanks Megan!

The best your going to get in this airport terminal. Food is pretty average (had a full English) , staff are friendly, view of planes is good and the prices are high which are to be expected in an airport so don’t be shocked.
Danny T — Google review
Giraffe world kitchen TERMINAL TWO Manchester. The English breakfast was cooked fresh and was very good for an airport restaurant/ cafe. Service was also good. Prices are what you'd expect ( expensive) to pay . Recommended.

Our flight was delayed, so we decided to eat at Giraffe. The menu had a great choice. I had the burger, it came quickly & was cooked to perfection. A special mention must go to the waitress, Rachel. She served us with a permanent smile, recommended items from the menu & engaged in a bit of banter with myself & my uncle. A great start to the holiday!

Had an amazing experience here tonight. Looked after by two lovely girls Rachel and Zoe. Very professional and friendly. The food was very tasty. Nachos and halloumi were so tasty and quite substantial portion size.

Trattoria Milano is a delightful gem nestled within the bustling atmosphere of Manchester Airport. Having frequented this spot multiple times, I can confidently say it has bounced back to its pre-Covid glory, offering an exceptional dining experience. The young staff are not only well-trained but also exude warmth and attentiveness, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed.
So me and my Wife were flying from Manchester Airport terminal 3 this morning from our home in Manchester to Krakow in Poland 🇵🇱. It was our first time eating and drinking at Trattoria Milano so we didn't know what to expect but we were warmly greeted and sat on a table for two.i To drink I had a coffee and my Wife ordereda Mimosa(Orange juice and Prosecco) which came extremely fast and to eat i opted for the Large Milano breakfast and my Wife opted for the Gluten free breakfast. Food was well presented, Food was delicious, came in good time, polite and friendly staff, Great service, Great food Great drink. 5☆

All the staff work extremely hard the food was beautiful. I will go back on my next flight

I was very pleasantly surprised here. I had a great bacon sandwich - soft bread, well-cooked bacon, plenty of condiments - and toast, served efficiently by interested and friendly staff. It was much better than my expectations for a quick airport breakfast!
Seiriol D — Google review
This is a perfectly fine restaurant considering the airport location. The pizza was small but not overly expensive. Staff friendly and quick service.
Zuzanna W — Google review
Quite popular place, as there are very few options in this terminal. Slightly healthier options here than at the bar opposite. Quite expensive for quite average food, but they have a monopoly, so no incentive to exceed expectations.

The staff were super friendly, as soon as I lined up I was seated right away, I scanned the QR for the menu and ordered my food, it came surprising quickly. The food was 11/10 it was fresh, the pasta was soft and succulent & had a lot of flavour to it. It was very filling. Cool place to chill whilst waiting for a flight

Josh was brilliant today. His service was impeccable and he was very patient in guiding us through the end and best dishes. Plus he gave us some additional travel tips, that was very useful. Thanks Josh !! Hope to see you again.

A fabulous breakfast at this airport restaurant. I have used this restaurant many times whilst travelling and it’s fair to say it went through a period of decline as many businesses did after Covid, however they are back to the high standards they operated at before. The staff are young but well managed, they were attentive, polite and efficient. The tables were clean and well organised and my order was taken by a human being and not those dreaded table QR codes, Hallelujah!!! The food was served quickly, it was hot and really very tasty. I felt obliged to speak to the manager and commend her and her staff on the quality. Displayed. A very enjoyable visit.

Check in experience with Kat/Cat was amazing. She gave us a really good first impressions of the hotel. We received a complimentary upgrade and check in was very efficient. Location is great for either walking or quick shuttle to airport terminals.

It served its purpose. Check in, transfers to and from the airport were excellent. The rooms are a bit dated, the bathroom door wouldn't close without some real weight behind it, the basin was chipped in 3 places, 2 of which had rudimentary repairs attempted. We thought the room without a centre light was too dark, although we accept it is personal. The breakfast was enjoyed, however the evening meals we thought poor and way over priced.

Another awesome stay with you. We won't stay anywhere else! From even before check in, you look after every aspect of the stay. Check in was simple, booking for dinner and for the airport shuttle was quick and easy too. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. Can't rate you highly enough! Thank you for another lovely stay.

Excellent overnight stay. Super efficient and very obliging staff. Beds very comfortable and rooms pleasant and all very clean. Breakfast very good choice and service in bar and restaurant was excellent. Shuttle bus to airport a great asset. Would definitely return

Room was nice, sleep was great, bar and food was poor. Incredibly over priced and staff service in there was terrible. We sat down, a waitress who was lovely came over to take our order, we ordered 2 simple soft drinks, she said she would be back with the drinks and to take our food order. 25 minutes we waited, and nothing happened. I had to go and get the drinks from the bar, and the staff at the bar didnt have a clue either. We just ordered on the app. The food that was £60. Not including drinks, was poor quality, cheap, comparable to whetherspoons but priced like miller and carter. The curry is clearly microwaved and the garlic bread like cardboard. I paid 6.50 for chunky chips and got dry leathery fries that had clearly sat on the pass for 20 minutes. Pretty poor considering i paid £280 for one night and parking, another £70 in the bar. Would not return at-all or recommend to anyone.

We booked a king-size bed, but the bed we received looked and felt more like a double. When we brought this up with the front desk, we were told that we would have needed to book a super king instead. It would be helpful if the website made the difference between the two room types clearer, as it was quite confusing. The staff at both the front desk and the restaurant came across as a bit unfriendly, which was disappointing. At the restaurant, we ordered through the scan app because we didn’t realize a server would come to take orders. When the server arrived and we explained, he seemed frustrated and walked away. Unfortunately, the food we received was also cold. In our room, the bathroom sink wasn’t draining properly, and we couldn’t access the gym during our stay. The highlight of our experience was the airport shuttle. The driver was friendly, cheerful, and very helpful — a great way to end the stay. Overall, the hotel has potential, but clearer communication, warmer service, and some maintenance improvements would make a big difference.

The place was really nice and the shuttle to the airport was very reactive even though I had to leave the hotel at 03:00. They were on time. I booked this hotel mainly for the shuttle and I wasn’t disappointed. The disappointment I had was the mold around the bathtub. I have an issue with mold. It makes me cringe. Going to the bathroom was very difficult for me. If you do not have an issue with mold I think you would like it. There is a shuttle from the train station as well if you call them from the phone booth.

It serves a purpose. A hotel next to the airport ready for a morning flight. Booking in took a while, whilst my husband tried to find somewhere to park the car. Quite a small and tight carpark. We were told we were on the 3rd floor but no information as to which set of lifts to take and therefore had a tour of the 3rd floor before finding staff to direct us. Unfortunately the hotel room is quite tired. A basic accommodation. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were terrible and as such, not a good night sleep. I was awoken 03.10 by the first person either arriving or departing. Doors banging and floors creaking. Expect to pay £30 extra for car parking.

British restaurant
Collage Restaurant is a clean-lined eatery located in an airport hotel, offering British cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The funky fusion restaurant provides a pleasant and informal environment with well-kept surroundings. While some find the menu slightly overpriced, it's considered normal for an airport restaurant just steps away from the terminal. The service is friendly and efficient, making it a convenient choice before or after a flight.
Pretty good restaurant. We didn't make a reservation we paid separately from our hotel booking, so we could check out without going to the desk. The staff are very nice and polite. We both had Korean chicken to start. Then I had the grilled sea bream with fries and my husband had the lamb meatballs balls with truffle and cheese fries. We shared the Strawberry and rhubarb cake with ice cream. Not sure what the ice cream was, but both the cake and ice cream was delicious 😋. We had breakfast here also, it is a buffet of hot and cold food. Worth eating here if you're waiting to catch a flight.

I usually shudder at the thought of eating at a airport hotel restaurant. What a lovely surprise! Not only was the restaurant warm and inviting, with very jovial and attentive staff, the food was very good. The soup was delicious, my linguine was cooked to perfection and the coconut ice cream to follow was beautiful. Not only did our waiter give us the service that many in the industry could learn from, he also gave us a %10 discount! Truly a delightful way to start our holiday.

Great food, great drinks and a great location to spend time before heading to the flight terminals. Many of the window seats have a view of the aeroplanes if you want it, otherwise there are comfortable booths for families and bigger groups.
T F — Google review
It would be easy to discount the Collage restaurant as simply another airport hotel restaurant, but the quality of service and the food and drink on offer suggest otherwise. An enjoyable evening spent, with attentive and timely service, and good wine to complement a tasty T-bone steak. It’s not cheap, it’s hotel restaurant/airport prices, but the quality and service make up for it.
Julian M — Google review
Staff are slow and not very good. I was given a dirty glass and cutlery. The food was rubbish, the steak was pricey for what it was and the quality of the steak was abysmal. Won't be eating here ever again.
Jamie — Google review
We tried this restaurant for the first time the night before our flight. the environment is clean and informal but well-kept. the service was pleasant and with the right pace. i found the menu in general a bit overpriced but i think that's normal for a restaurant inside the airport a few steps from the terminal.

2 star is for the food. Staff were very polite and pleasant, the restaurant had a good buzz and was busy. The location was very convenient. The food was not so good. Over priced for what was presented. We had starters and mains. Would look for other optins next time.
The S — Google review
We expected the food quality to be much better than it was considering the price we paid. We had 2 alcoholic drinks, prawn linguine, burger and fries, cheese board and a chocolate/salted caramel torte = £106. We’ve had better meals elsewhere at a much lower cost so we did not feel we got good value for money here, particularly as the food quality was poor. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t recommend this place and won’t be returning. The cheese board was poor: the crackers were bland and some of the cheese tasted a bit stale. The torte was supposed to be chocolate and salted caramel but couldn’t really taste the latter. Prawn linguine was OK but not very flavoursome. Burger was alright but forgettable and nothing to shout about. The main positive is that the staff were friendly but this is obviously not the main reason people go to restaurants.
