Designer Outlet Roermond is situated in the southeastern part of the Netherlands, with a rich history dating back to Roman times. The city of Roermond boasts iconic Dutch architecture, traditional houses, and picturesque streets that reflect its centuries-old heritage. It is also renowned as Europe's premier destination for outlet shopping. The outlet attracts visitors from near and far, with peak hours typically occurring around 2 PM on Sundays.
Visited here Sunday afternoon. If you want to go shopping on Sunday and you are near this area, this is the place to do it. First, parking is €7 per visit. Not a bad deal if you are shopping multiple hours here. They have covered parking garage as well. Plenty of parking including EV charging available during my visit. The shops located here are superb. They have high end luxury brands as well as other well known brands offering decent discount price. Some perks: they have many places to eat, shaded places to sit down to rest, and the visitor’s center has a free water station so you can drink water for free. And washrooms are clean and free to use also. We spent about three hours total knowing which stores to visit/shop and the experience was simply fantastic. We also ate at a couple of places and the price was more on the expensive side (due to the exclusive location) while food tasted quite good. The layout of the shopping center is nicely done and “fun”, navigating around is definitely easy. And you can tell the entire place is well maintained and clean. The Sunday crowd seemed to be increasing in the afternoon, so I would think coming here early is a good idea.

One of the best shopping outlets I have been to. There are so many stores from probably all popular brands in this complex. The layout is easy to navigate with multiple food points, coffee shops and kiosks for snacks. A decently large free of cost play area for kids, two minutes walk to the city center, very reasonable day parking fees, clean and free toilets on every corner make this outlet fantastic for shopping, eating out or just strolling through the great crowd. Highly recommended.
SACHIT V — Google review
Top top 👍👍👍 Great place to buy clothes, you can always find something with good prices and discounts. The only drawback is that on weekends it is terribly crowded, you literally have to wait in line in front of certain stores because of the excessive number of people inside at that moment. My recommendation would be to avoid visiting on weekends or arm yourself with patience, everything else 5 star ⭐️…

Nice place good price. I surprised 50% of seller Syrian and all speaking English arabic Dutch !!! It's only 1 hour from Germany. Recommended

We parked our car in the Kazerneplein underground garage right next to the outlet, and you can walk straight to the main entrance from there. As of 2025, the 24-hour parking fee is only €6.50. It’s currently Black Friday week, and all the good-quality brands have discounts between 30% and 50%. If you’re nearby, it’s definitely a place you should visit for shopping. Street food is quite affordable, and the restrooms were free to use as well.

It is an interesting thing, soso many people, queues everywhere...go on early and not on weekend i guess? But i didnt find it that cheap, or good deals, not really outlet priced..some promotions good, but thats it. Didnt even buy anything..🤔

So many stores. Supposed to be outlet and we went there because it was said that they had extra discount at stores this week but compared to other outlets the prices were even higher. On top of that people are coming for shopping and you still the have to pay for parking, come on!!!

Sights & Landmarks
Munsterkerk, a 13th-century church located in Roermond, is a stunning example of Late Romanesque architecture. The church boasts soaring front towers and is particularly enchanting in the evening when it is illuminated by multi-colored lamps. While its interior may seem restrained, many travelers consider it to be one of the most beautiful buildings in the city. Munsterkerk holds significant cultural heritage and is a must-visit landmark.
When the garden is in flower, is really beautiful. Sit in the square and take a picture with sculpture people.

(Translated by Google) It could have been so beautiful... Unfortunately, there is less and less room for free recreation in the Maasplassen area and the area is dominated by operators who all want to benefit from tourism (often from across the eastern border). It is downright distressing to see how the number of marinas and jetties has increased over the past 30 years. The area just looks dirty with boats, jetties, campsites, holiday parks and other recreational facilities. Small entrepreneurs are popping up everywhere and more and more fencing is appearing. Nuisance is not combated by (costly ((I know)) enforcement, but by closing roads and areas. Economic interests always come first and tourists in particular benefit from this. The province is becoming less and less liveable for the Limburgers themselves. ps. What about all those emissions from that horrendous number of boats in Limburg? While car traffic must switch to hybrid and electric motors as smoothly as possible, the number of (high-speed) boats on the Maasplassen is only increasing.

(Translated by Google) A beautiful lake for sailing, with lovely views and plenty of space on the water. Unfortunately, it was very crowded when we were there. We rented a sailboat and were practicing, but some people with luxury boats seemed impatient. They honked and deliberately sailed close by to show that they were "in charge" of the water. That was a shame and a bit intimidating. Nevertheless, we had a great day and enjoyed the sailing itself.

Visitors can explore his former residence and work studio, now transformed into a contemporary museum. Affordable 6£ a person. Small place, interesting to explore, relevant to region. It has a gift shop, coffee area, coat room, bathrooms. Great if you want to see a museum quickly. #architecture focused

Very nice and friendly personal. It was very nice to visit at Sunday because it wasn't busy at all. Hopefully they will build an audio or video tour to become more part of what Cuyper build from furniture to whole buildings.

Surprisingly nice and inspiring place to visit when in Roermond! If you like sketches, architecture and the real ambacht. This place you definitely need to visit. Love how they go back to basics from sketch until the real result and they also have some areas where you can practice and learn. Very nice!

#29Roermond if your a fan of Cuypers then of course you have to come here. Nice little gift shop and a cafe when you enter. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The building is from Cuypers too (1853). I quiet like the Celtic and medieval motifs in his work and thought I'd see more of that which I didn't, but I did learn a lot about the complete works if Cuypers. #railthetrails

Visiting Roermond, this place seemed like a must go. We've been there, asking how long is the tour. The reception was only willing to sell ticket. It was 30 minutes before the closing time, the tour is more than one hour, we were asking to the reception how long is the tour, and still, the reception only wanted to sell ticket. - How long is the visit ? - Yes, you can visit. - How long is the visit ? - Yes, you can visit, the ticket is... [forgotten price] - Do we have time to see everything ? - If you want to visit, the ticket is.... [forgotten price] This was the conversation during 10 minutes, when suddenly, by somekind of miracle, the reception says that the museum will close very soon, and we'll have no time for everything.... So, let me ask you something. Was it me speaking bad English ? Was the employee speaking bad English ? What's the point of selling a ticket as you know that people will have no time for the complete tour ? Are you scammers ? Because of this, we removed the museum from our to-do list. We also warn people about this place not being 100% honest. If one day, you become 100% honest, maybe we'll come back. Otherwise, good luck with your scam.

A new restaurant for me. I'm visiting all restaurants that start with Kasteel in the region! Apparently the tje at the of the word Kasteel means it's a small castle! If the castle is small, the menu was certainly not. It was very hard to choose. As I am intermittent fasting I also found I was full after three courses, no room for desert or cheese. I'll have to come back for that another day. I had oysters three ways... Grapefruit granite was the best. Followed by foie Gras three ways... Rum & raisen was the best and then a delicious bowl of a bisque 'deluxe' with prawns and scallops. A single glass of chablis to accompany. The service was very good and quite busy for a Wednesday night, I was lucky to walk in and get a table. I'll definitely be back for more of the menu!

Located in Roermond, Restaurant Bubbles & Bites offers a unique dining experience with its fusion of French cuisine and Oriental and Mediterranean influences. The restaurant promises a surprising and distinctive culinary adventure. With its innovative concept, it stands out as one of the top dining destinations in the area.
I Chose a Collection of 15 different bites; small dishes to have an Impression of what could have been a whole course. Each bite was introduced by the servants, an amazing accomplishment. All of them were very well prepared, The quail did, however, not match the selection as this was a quite sour preparation and the rest was more neutral and sweet. The white wines I had, Pinot Grigio was just excellent, the chardonnay did not pay honour to the quality of the dishes, rather flat, no wood. Considering that the Pinot Grigio was even 2€ cheaper per glass, this was a great selection. Next time in Roermond I will be back for sure! Thanks for an excellent evening. Especially the deer was amazing. Photos: 5 starters, 5 main course bites, 5 deserts.

We had a little card saying Happy anniversary ( lovely touch).20 min later we placed our drink order . Great gin and tonic and the cocktail . Following 10 min later we received out menu. 30 min( 8 table dotted in the restaurant) been told it's busy. We ordered food. The bread ( lovely) and the started arrived quick. . fantastic food by the way. We waited 15 min after for the main course. I ordered a drink before I finished my starter, but it's arrived after I finished my main course what was amazing . Overall the evening was special and we enjoyed the food the atmosphere and the place. Excellent restaurant, don't let the looks chase you away. From the outside you could say that the place needs a little TLC, but the food will compensate for this. We did not go for the surprise menu where you can pick the kitchens type; Thai, Sri Lankan, Indian, French and one more which I forgot. But we opted for the a la carte instead. The starters and the mains where delicious! We will be back to try other options and also the surprise menu eventually
