One of the best shopping outlets I have been to. There are so many stores from probably all popular brands in this complex. The layout is easy to navigate with multiple food points, coffee shops and kiosks for snacks. A decently large free of cost play area for kids, two minutes walk to the city center, very reasonable day parking fees, clean and free toilets on every corner make this outlet fantastic for shopping, eating out or just strolling through the great crowd. Highly recommended.

We parked our car in the Kazerneplein underground garage right next to the outlet, and you can walk straight to the main entrance from there. As of 2025, the 24-hour parking fee is only €6.50. It’s currently Black Friday week, and all the good-quality brands have discounts between 30% and 50%. If you’re nearby, it’s definitely a place you should visit for shopping. Street food is quite affordable, and the restrooms were free to use as well.

The building is from Cuypers too (1853). I quiet like the Celtic and medieval motifs in his work and thought I'd see more of that which I didn't, but I did learn a lot about the complete works if Cuypers. #railthetrails

Beautiful nature, wonderful shaded forest with clearly marked pathways to walk your dogs. Shaded parking, lovely restaurant. A magical place, lots of wild mushrooms.

We have been there 4 times and each walking route is different. You can easily spend a whole day here. The only negative is the many cyclists.

It's a great location for a walk in nature. Loads of trails and a wonderful view. I'm looking forward to our next visit. As we enjoy the outdoors and nature. This place had what we expected and more. I recommend it for the entire family and friends.

Lovely place to walk , cycle or take trip with horse carriage. Also the restaurant is quite a nice place with good selection. For kids some adventure play equipment.

Extensive hiking and biking. Interesting geology and natural history. Quiet. Remnants of the 1879 railroad (The Iron Rhine, from Antwerp to Mönchengladbach) and the in 1962 aborted coal mine (State Mine Beatrix). Pleasant cafe at entrance (De Boshut), convenient for its facilities.

A very nice (small) National Park to explore. Lots of different landscapes.

Beautiful place! Dinner here was sublime. The food, service and location were all impressive. Prices were extremely reasonable too.

We stayed 2 nights and had dinner once. Beautiful garden setting, spacious rooms, shower over bath not my preference but ok. Dinner was superb despite slow to come. Breakfast also excellent. Prices about what you would expect for premium accommodation.

This restaurant has amazed me with its diverse menu of food, drinks and cocktails. I have ordered the 4-course menu and it was super delicious, with a lot of local ingredients and still surprising taste combinations. Also the animals are welcome and the staff is very friendly. We had a good laugh and an amazing Birthday dinner. Thanks a lot!

We stayed two nights and enjoyed excellent 4 course surprise dinner and breakfast. Food was absolutely amazing, art on a plate. Staff is extremely friendly and the service is very personal. All in all we had a great stay and we will definitely come back and send our friends to Kasteeltje Hattem as well.

If one wants to get out of the fast city life, this castle and its owners make you gearing down and enjoy. All is right, the hospitality, food, wines, surrounding, rooms, all the little details. So happy we booked two nights!

A new restaurant for me. I'm visiting all restaurants that start with Kasteel in the region! Apparently the tje at the of the word Kasteel means it's a small castle! If the castle is small, the menu was certainly not. It was very hard to choose. As I am intermittent fasting I also found I was full after three courses, no room for desert or cheese. I'll have to come back for that another day. I had oysters three ways... Grapefruit granite was the best. Followed by foie Gras three ways... Rum & raisen was the best and then a delicious bowl of a bisque 'deluxe' with prawns and scallops. A single glass of chablis to accompany. The service was very good and quite busy for a Wednesday night, I was lucky to walk in and get a table. I'll definitely be back for more of the menu!

Excellent location for lunch and dinner. Very nice location with view over a park. This is one of the smallest (or even the smallest) castle in the Netherlands. Parking is free and just off the highway. Must visit location to impress a date ;-)

Me and my wife we had our wedding anniversary dinner there . We arrived 10 min our table booking. The staff welcomed us with joy and smile and escorted us to our table by the window(amazing) . We had a little card saying Happy anniversary ( lovely touch).20 min later we placed our drink order . Great gin and tonic and the cocktail . Following 10 min later we received out menu. 30 min( 8 table dotted in the restaurant) been told it's busy. We ordered food. The bread ( lovely) and the started arrived quick. . fantastic food by the way. We waited 15 min after for the main course. I ordered a drink before I finished my starter, but it's arrived after I finished my main course what was amazing . Overall the evening was special and we enjoyed the food the atmosphere and the place. My review is not a negative review it's just a guide one as the staff need help on managing as no manager was present for a smooth service, but we live the place and we will be back for sure

Ordered their special bites from the menu and I loved the little creative charming dishes that were served to me. The bread and dip to start was delicious as well. The servicer was very kind to us. Another plus was that they change the dishes for those who have allergies as well!

The Atmosphere is pretty cozy. If you wanted a more personalized experience, then this is the place you should visit ! Everything and everyone is nice. It’s something that is definitely exceed my expectation especially in a place like Roermond.

Excellent restaurant, don't let the looks chase you away. From the outside you could say that the place needs a little TLC, but the food will compensate for this. We did not go for the surprise menu where you can pick the kitchens type; Thai, Sri Lankan, Indian, French and one more which I forgot. But we opted for the a la carte instead. The starters and the mains where delicious! We will be back to try other options and also the surprise menu eventually

Not only the food is delicious - I had the duck breast, to die for! - but also the service deserves to be mentioned, we had the same atmosphere as a Michelin-star restaurant. Amazing Sri Lankan food. The best that we have had in a European restaurant. Passion for cooking is clearly felt. We tried soup, Rice with curries and desert. Definitely will visit again.
