The Museo della Ceramica di Savona is a stately museum housed in a medieval building that offers an intricate history of ceramic art through various exhibits. The collection features mostly terracotta ceramics from the XIV-XVII centuries, with cobalt and cobalt-ochre designs used for noble kitchenware. Additionally, there are some unique pieces of wall paintings and marble frescos on canvas.
A great exposition of rare and precious examples of the evolution in ceramics from middle ages to nowadays! Make sure to watch the film as an introduction to your visit!

Apparently, the museum is open this night ('notti bianche'), so it's closed during daytime. This is hearsay, nothing is indicated on the building or information. Join the club of disappointed tourists in front of the building! Museum staff: please place a sign with information, do not disappoint and disrespect your customers like this.

This museum is a gem and warrants a trip to Savona on its own. The mix of ceramics from hundreds of years ago with artefacts by contemporary artists is ideal. The collection is not overbearing and allows for a delightful stroll lasting an hour or more. The staff of the museum shines with kindness and the shop offers a small range of nice little things to buy.

Museo a-la Provinceale. Small, but well worth of visiting. Paitings and marble works. Dated XIV-XVII, I have noticed few works not typical like marble frescos and wall paintings that were translocated to canvas. Ceramics is represented mostly by terracotta with cobalt and cobalt-ochre (I am not a specialist) kitchenette of nobles. But there are some other outstanding pieces of art, too

An incredible collection wonderfully displayed and set in a stunning building.

Gorgeous ceramics, especially the maiolica. Several of the spotlights illuminating the pieces flash on and off. This needs to be fixed right away.

This beautifully preserved villa showcases rooms adorned with exquisite antique furnishings, each reflecting different historical periods. Guests can explore the charming park surrounding the villa, complete with elegant statues and serene fountains. Lovely Italian village. Nice long walks and plenty of restaurants. Only problem no English speaking. Food and coffee and the Italian bread was cheap. Lots of walking around the area where my father in law was stationed in the 1940's.if you want a laid back time then give it a go.

Attended a wedding of close friends! Extremely walkable from the marina, gorgeous location! A proper Italian experience.
Abhishek J — Google review
I attended a wedding in this location. Although the facade it's not so much well maintained, the internal spaces are astonishing. I loved it, especially its wonderful frescoes with depicted bucolic scenes of life. Unfortunately I guess it's not possible to wander through the italian style garden. It is to be noticed the fact that Villa Farraggiana was just the summer house of a noble family, don't be surprised if you can't find a lot of historical background on it. There is a large free parking at the bottom of the Villa.

Café-Restaurant M — Google review
During our trip to Italy, we discovered this gem by the seaside. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a host who patiently introduced us to local wines and the restaurant’s specialties. The dishes were beautifully prepared and full of authentic Italian flavor — in fact, it was the most delicious meal we’ve had so far on our journey. Watching the ferries pass by as we dined made the evening even more memorable. A truly delightful experience worth revisiting.

Food took a very long time to be made, but was good. If you’re into seafood you’re gonna love it. Siting outside with the view is worth the wait though!

I was looking for a place to eat along the beach line. This place fir me for comfort and food quality. Has inside and outside sittings facing the sea on two floors, that's a very desiarable. Toilets are shared with public beach. Attentive service, we've got suggestions and it was possible to alter the ingredients to accommodate for our food habits. Thanks! Little bit pricy. But prices match the location. Recommended!

Really cool place with a lot of sea-view tables. Elegant but not extremely. The Focaccia prana and focaccia genovese are exquisite. Good quality/price relation. They also run the Colombo private beach. Excelent aperitivo

Favourite restaurant of my husband! Didn’t disappoint - everything was extremely tasty and fresh!
Anna P — Google review
Absolutely delicious. Not even the most expensive restaurant in the area but the seafood is incredibly fresh and everything is presented beautifully. Staff are very kind, though they speak little English they will do their best to understand and everything I ordered came out perfectly. The house wine is not the best but they have many other options and the food is second to none. Delicious octopus starter that was cooked perfectly. Spaghetti allo scoglio was the best I’ve had in Italy. Fresh and delicious mussels, clams, shrimp and so much seafood in the dish. Even the dishes that other people had ordered looked amazing. Would absolutely return.

The absolute best place to hang out on a lazy afternoon. Not sure what it’s like on weekends but on a Wednesday afternoon I had a blast just chilling and drinking aperol spritz. The bartender is incredibly kind and made me a snack because the kitchen is only open from about 12-2 and I had arrived after 3pm. Beautiful location, comfortable beach chairs, and no cover charge if you’re buying drinks. If you’re in the area on a weekday and want to soak up the sun, definitely give this place a visit.

Fresh and colorful beach club: In summer you get to dance outside, facing a big pool, in wintertime everything is indoor. Depending on the night you can find 18-24 or 24-40 crowds. Music is pretty much always good commercial / pop.

Indulging in the exquisite seafood at this charming seaside spot was a delight for the senses. The freshness of the catch was evident in every bite, making the dining experience truly memorable. The combination of delectable flavors and a picturesque setting by the sea created a perfect harmony, leaving me with a taste of both culinary excellence and the beauty of nature. Highly recommended for those seeking a culinary escape with a breathtaking backdrop.

This was my first trip to Italy. I was nervous because I've heard Italians can be very rude to people. In general this area proved them wrong. This little restaurant is cool, cozy and fun at the same time. All the staff members were friendly and professional. They forgot one item from my order, they apologised and promptly brought it out. Great service, great food, great spot!

Beach is amazing and clean, staff is kind and helpful, food is delicious, plenty of water activities, nice views, pool for the kids, place for beach activities (i.e. beach volleyball). Need to pay entry and anything you consume obviously but it's well worth the money if you want to spend a good time. Water was clear and clean even at high tide

Went out for diner as a group of 5, as we were told this place is amazing! One of the worst experience we had in Italy. The lady that looked after eas one of the most unfriendly persons I've met here. No hello, no welcome no nothing. We got past that, we got our menu, ordered food and drinks. The lady had the same unfriendly attitude with eyes rolling if we got a name wrong from the menu ( we are not the best italian speakers, but we try). Food was horrible!! The pizza dough was uncooked, the sea food was full of sand and had a bad smell, the mussels had seaweed and sand all over. A very bad experience for us, never to return!
Andrei H — Google review
I really love this restaurant and have been a few times already. The frito misto is great and the portions are huge enough to share and if your a big eater you can always get a starter. We shared the mussels in a white sauce and this was fresh and also a huge portion, a kilo. Reasonable prices and always crowded it would be a good idea to make a reservation to he sure you can get in. This is a must try, although i have to admit I have not tried the pizza because the fish is so yummy! My advice is to go but don't tell anyone or I might not find space the next time we want to go! After another visit my feelings about this restaurant have not changed. One thing I noticed was the chairs and tables were really uncomfortable and perhaps there was a bug party but I couldn't hear people talking clearly and had to tell or repeat myself. Staff really friendly and helpful so if your in the mood for fish or pizza, go!

The atmosphere is simple and clean, and the air conditioning is just the right temperature. Despite it being a weekday, there were more customers than I expected, perhaps a testament to the restaurant's good reputation. The owner serves with remarkable efficiency and courtesy. Her two daughters are polite and very, very friendly. I will definitely be back. (Original) L'esperienza di ieri a pranzo è stata piacevolissima.
